Sir/madam,
I, Chandrani Banerjee, is a consumer of CESC service. My consumer no.- [protected] and customer id- [protected]. My bill has been charged Rs 820 against consumed unit 60.This is quite absured because last month my consumed unit was 79 and I paid the bill of Rs. 470
I request you to lodge my complaint and see to this matter urgently as the last date of payment is 20th Dec. It is really a harrassment to charge a heavy amount unreasonably.

    Sir/madam,
    I, kartick banerjee, is a consumer of cesc service. My consumer no.- [protected] and consumer id - [protected]. My bill has been charged rs 1390 against consumed unit 100. This is quite absured because last month my consumed unit was 115 and i paid the bill of rs. 840.
    I request you to lodge my complaint and see to this matter urgently as the last date of payment is 20th dec. It is really a harrassment to charge a heavy amount unreasonably.

      Since last 4 months i am receiving very high electricity bill from cesc kolkata. Actually we are using 2 fans & 3 tube lights but the electic bills are coming above 900/month which is very much high than what it should be.
      I have a doubt in my mind that either electric metre is not working properly or someone is doing electric theft from our metre as we are unable to check what exactly happening because the metres are locked in a room.
      So request you to kindly look into it & resolve it as soon as possible.

          Hello madam/sir,
          1). I am subhajyoti das, consumer number is:[protected], customer id is [protected] in the month of october my electric bill is about rs 4070. Which is very high as per my usage.
          2). Present meter reading is no where mentioned there in the electric bill. It is only mentioned i have been charged for 461 units.
          3). Madam/sir this also needs your kind attention that even though i have installed two acs in my apartment but we have not use any one of it due to sudden cold climate. Also i would like to mention here that i have low power leds implanted within my apartment and all of the ceiling fans are of newest model with low current consuming capacity.
          4). This also needs your apropriate attention that my last to last months electricty consumption (As per cesc bill) was 227 units.
          5). I would also like to inform you that october’s electricity consumption is the highest one for me since from the month of february, 2019 as i have taken cesc connection from that month onwards.
          6). Please be informed that i already have a digital meter (With isi standardization) installed inside my apartment which is showing an electricty consumption of 198 unit (I. E 263 unit less than cesc’s unit consumption record) for the month of october.
          Hence i am ardently requesting you to look into this matter and oblige accordingly.

            The premises was locked and key for 20 days during the billing period. It is seen that bill for rs.1380/- against consumption of elecy has come which is higher than that of my actual consumption of elecy.

            May i request your good office to please look into the matter so that the said bill is corrected and the amount paid is adjusted in next month.

              Hi,
              My consumer no is [protected]. I had used electricity very limited during last billing period but my bill came rs 2510 which is hightest ever and i had not received such kind of high bill ever. Pls loook into it and reduce the amount immediately. I cannot pay 3 -4 times high bill.
              Please help to resolve the issue because we cannit pay whatever cesc ask us to pay.

                My cesc consumer id - [protected]. An excess on an average rs.9000 bill amount on my electric bill has been sent on my shop for the month of october 2019. For last 2 months i am getting an average bill of rs 2000. But recently i have got an bill for the month of october which is about 11, 650, which is unbelivable... So at first i request you please correctly measure my metre box reading.. And finaly sent me a correction bill. Then i will pay my electric bill.

                  I have mistakenly paid the electricity bill twice i. E on 9 nov 2019 (Through google pay) and 14 nov 2019 through debit card. Cesc accept the same bill twice. Please refund the amount which i inadvertently paid twice.

                  Dear Colleague,
                  I would like to bring to your attention the following for your consideration and necessary actions as needed.
                  1. This is to state that I am subscriber of CESC with customer id [protected], consumer no [protected] with registered Consumer Name And Address as R G DHAR CHAKRABORTY 480, MADURDAHA II/640 RAIL BIHAR PURBACHAL KOLKATA-700 078
                  2. I received a message from Axis Bank yesterday, ” Your A/c 082562 is debited by Rs. 990 on 18Oct19. Avbl Bal: Rs. 130124.58. Info: INB /[protected]/CESCKO / BillPay - AXISTXN68. Call [protected] for dispute”.
                  3. Prior to that i received a message from Axis Bank last Monday, 14th October 2019, “Your new bill of CESC LIMITED - [protected] for Rs 990.00 has been scheduled for payment.”
                  4. I immediately informed my Axis Bank Branch
                  5. As the referred Customer ID. : [protected] was associated with Consumer No. : [protected] belonged to one Ramkrishna Chowdhury 480 Madurdaha Fl-239 Rail Bihar Purbachal Kolkata 700 078 Mobile No : [protected] Email Address : [protected]@Gmail.Com, I thought it was an error.
                  6. On advice from my Bank, I checked into Biller of my Axis Banking account on Net Banking and found a Biller CESC LIMITED with short name CESCKO was allowed for Customer ID [protected] with my name as customer name ; this was registered on 21/11/2013.
                  7. I have removed the biller immediately from net banking system.
                  8. I have never added this biller and it was inserted fraudulently. The advice was to pay for Biller CESC for customer id [protected] and customer name Rajagopal Dhar Chakraborti. The CESC raised the Electricity bill to Axis Bank without verifying that the customer id [protected] belonged to one Ramkrishna Chaudhury and not me.
                  9. On browsing back on bank debit statement, I noticed that two of my Axis Bank accounts was subject CESC payment through biller

I shall appreciate if CESC could investigate the beneficiary of metered account and if the permission was not granted by me, why such requisition for payment was sent to the Axis Bank. I shall appreciate if CESC could also look, if the biller was added for all months, why bills for selective months were paid through these accounts.

                            We first faced the problem at our outlet on 06.10.2019 evening that our ml4 emergency shutdown switch was making noise. We made a complaint after that at 6:07pm with complaint no.[protected].

                            After that service engineers visited our site and made a temporary connection from the main line suspecting that there may be a major fault in the existing connection.

                            But they have been informed that we cannot start sale from our outlet with this temporary connection as it a public place where we are dealing with explosive products, petrol and diesel. Temporary connection is not safe. At any time, if any accident happens, there may be a chance of safety hazard, that will become a serious issue. Permanent connection needs to be restored.

                            On 09.10.2019 after repairing our ml4 esd, we again made a complaint as none visited to repair the permanent connection. Complaint no. [protected].

                            Yesterday we visited your good office to know what action you have initiated to resolve the issue. After our visit, we are really thankful that you sent your service engineer. But they are good for nothing. They told us that we cannot do anything now. We can only take the temporary connection in such a way so that no accident can take place.

                            After that our ioc area manager talked to your officer over the phone. He told your officer that without permanent connection if we start our sale, there might be a chance of safety hazard. Your officer assured our area manager that on 11.10.2019 by 10:00am, service engineers will reach the site for restoration of permanent connection.

                            However, they have reached around 12:00 hrs today. And the whole day they only have tried to find out old connection route, i. E.in which route the connection has come to our electric room from the main line.

                            Sir, this type of service is not expected from cesc at least. Cesc has a very good record to resolve the complaints as early as possible. But in this case, your officer has not taken any action even after 6 days to resolve the issue. We are unable to give service to our customers because of your casual approach to resolve the issue. You also know that petrol pump deals with explosive products, how your service engineer can made temporary connection where so many cuts have been made joint with red/blue tape. Was it not possible to make another permanent connection removing the old connection.

                            Police, media are continuously following up with us to immediately resolve the issue and start the service. But only because of your casual approach, we could not start sale from our outlet. Even today also, your officer told us that we can resolve the issue only after getting the old permanent connection route. It may take 2 days, 3 days or may be a week. Is it a reply from an officer of cesc! Are you expecting to take serious action from indian oil against your good office!

                            Another 2 no. Complaints are also pending with no.[protected] and [protected] dtd. 10.10.2019. Please take action properly and urgently so that we can start our sale from tomorrow.

                                  Please refer to the consumer affairs and forum vide grievance number: 1542146 and 1541990 respectively and no.1607651 dated 18.09.2019 & 1610819 dated 19.09.2019 vide which as per direction of the concerned department the undermentioned facts are submitted for your kind information and further necessary action as early please.

                                  As per cesc office mail ref. No. 05/15517/19 dated: 01/08/2019. Inspection was conducted for new connection. After inspection cesc forwarded a bill vide no.05/15517/19/5/1 dated 06.08.2019 in the name of thakur pada sarkar (Applicant) for security deposit rs.8370/- & service charge rs.21, 398/- and directed to deposit the total amount of rs.29, 768/- for new meter connection.

                                  The above building for new connection to nearest lamp post is adjacent to the building which is only 05- 06 feet distance away and where already cesc connection is available. The applicant is not able to deposit the huge amount as forwarded by cesc which is totally illegal as per cesc norms.in this regard applicant has personally met with mr. Kailash pandit, northan district engineer, shyambazar but he refused to listen to anything.in this regard, i have submitted a complaint and requested to provide the details of breakup of bills as charged by cesc but cesc has not taken any action till 17.09.2019.

                                  On 17.09.2019 cesc district engineer mr. Kailash pandit called over telephone thakur pada sarkar for settlement/reduces the cesc service charge as complained. But the service charge was not reduced and instead he was tricked into withdrawing the complaint. He was cheated as he is illiterate (Only studied upto 3rd standard). Also he was misguided that he will never get the electric connection in future if he does not sign on a paper provided to him by cesc. He was manipulated into signing in the letter by saying it will reduce the service charge. After the receipt of bill it is found that the service charge was not reduced and instead the security deposit/work load is reduced which is a violation of rules without the consent of customer as applicant already indicated his work load during submitting the online application.

                                  After receiving the bill all the facts are cleared that for withdrawing the complaint mr. Kailash pandit, district engineer, cesc and the concerned officers of cesc has tricked, cheated and manipulated an illiterate person who has only studied upto 3rd standard. It is noticed that he has reduced the load as well as security deposit at rs.1500/- and did not reduce the service charge except around rs. 2500/- approx and claimed the service charge to be rs.17, 699/- and forwarded the bill including service charge of rs.19, 289/-.in this regard, it is also intimated that my relative shri thakur pada sarkar (Applicant) is not qualified person. Mr. Kailash pandit, district engineer, cesc and the concerned officers of cesc has tricked, cheated and manipulated an illiterate person for withdrawing complaint.

                                  In view of the above, for cheating/ misguiding to a non qualifying personnel and violation of all the rules for electricity supply for domestic purpose as per forum of regulators, june 2017 and other guidelines, it is requested to take necessary action in this regard as early as possible please.

                                    This is in regards to the bill payment for the current month within due date 30/09/19. How come they've sent the bill for the same month n payment to be done by this month only? Why should i pay the bill as per their chosen bill cycle n due date??

                                    My last payment was on 03/09/19 for the month of august within the due date mentioned. Why should i pay twice in the same month??

                                      I had raised two complaints to cesc regarding high bill (Docket[protected] and meter related (Docket[protected]. I had only got a reply that a representative will visit my house to check the meter. Till date i haven't received any communication regarding the complaints. And moreover upon checking, i found that they did not take the reading in the month of june and sent us an exorbitant reading for the month of july. My cust id is [protected].
