Sir/madam
Sub:- complain against bill no. [protected]/05191, dated - 10/06/19 (Customer id:- [protected])– matter regarding.
Please refer to the above.
That i, chitta ranjan samal, of aayakar abasan, type - iv, flat-b35, 110, shanti pally, kolkata - 700 107, is your customer since 2004, bearing consumer no. [protected]. I used pay my electricity bills regularly in time. But, i was astonished to see the bill of the month of may, 2019 wherein a bill of a net amount of rs. 3580/- is found to be raised. Total units against which the bill was raised is shown at 423 units. There is every reason to suspect the bill so raised. That i have been shifted to bhubaneswar from 6th april, 2019 though i have not vacated my above official quarter. During the month of may, 2019, i (Only) have visited kolkata on 14th may and departed on 17th may, 2019. The detailed use of electricity during the above period is as:-
14.05.2019- came by puri-howrah satabadi express and reached my office straight. Reach my flat a 7.30 p. M.- used two lights for some 4 hours, one ac for 6 hours and one fan for 8 hours.
15.05.2019 - used one fan till 10 a, m,, fridge was operative for whole day, after 7 p. M. One fan was operative for 11hours, one light for 5 hrs, ac was used for 20 minutes only.

17.05.2019 - used one fan for 10 hours,, fridge was operative till 8 p. M. & one light for 4 hrs only. Then i left for bhubaneswar in shalimar puri express.
All other days, no electric appliances was used as there was no body in the flat. It is really astonishing that the usage of electric appliances as discussed above has resulted in such a huge meter reading of 423 units. It is quite unacceptable and it appears that you have been engaged with unethical and immoral practice to earn and more, thereby cheating customers like me.
Therefore, it is requested to look into the matter and i think & believe that there is mistake in meter reading by your meter-man or the meter installed at my quarter is not working properly which need be replaced immediately. Might be you have raised bills on average consumption basis without making proper meter reading and you have been indulged in immoral business practice to earn more.in this connection, this is to inform you that i have already paid the above bill of rs. 3580/- on 15.06.2019, the copy of the paid bill is enclosed for your perusal.

      Dear sir / madam,

      This is to bring in your knowledge that subject to the electricity bill no. [protected] / 06191 dt. 28.06.2019 is abnormally excess. I think meter reading taken by your representatives was not correct. You can check past bills of this particular customer id maximum of inr 100-150 bill is generated every month. I don't understood why this month bill so much? We are not in a position to clear the bill amount of inr 5000/-. If it is a matter of inr 500 - 1000 we can think to pay and adjust the same in next 1 or 2 bills. But such a bulk amount against this against this customer id is not acceptable.

      So, you are requested to pls. Look into the matter and do the needful at your earliest. As due date for this bill is today i. E 08.07.2019.

      Your early response on this will be highly appreciated. Enclose duplicate bill for your ready ref. Pls. Check.

        Sir,
        I have been receiving excessive elecric bill for couple of months. For month of june 2019 it is rs.2690/- unit consumed 333

        We dont have any ac, washing machine and any high power consuming machine or gadgets.

        Through out the day 3 normal ceiling fan run. And at evening 3 led 9w room lights are used. Thats all.

        Our flat is constructed in 2009 in bhawanipur, kolkata

        I have no clue how come i am constantly getting high amount bills?

        And my bill is also showing abnormal fluctuation in power consumption through out the year.

        If it is not solved i will go to consumer forum and write to central govt grievance cell and lodge rti at your h. O.

        Please do the needful. Please send some good technician to check the line.

          This is inform i am a senior citizen residing at dum dum siddheswari gardens, also i reside in my home alone and maximum time in a month i use to stay my different relative houses. Suddenly from february it's is my observation that my cesc bill is coming heavily. Also this for your information, that i was for one month was out of home during may to june period and my bill has come more than rs 5000, sir as i don't have any source of income other than my pension, pls look into the problem if meter is have fault, i don't know, i had to bear those hectic bills in these months.               I am kajal nath and my customer id is [[protected]] in the month of april and may my electricity bill has come just the double the amount. For the month of april it had been nearly 3300 and for the month of may it has come 4440 rupees. This amount is way too much than we normally give. We do have air conditioner which only works at night. And we have the air conditioner from past 4 years but never have this happened.

                This is with regard to Complaint No. 31911133 raised with CESC for a very high electricity bill raised on Customer ID. : [protected] for May'19 for Rs 2030.

                This is very abnormal as no family members have been residing in the flat since March. Hence, we have received very nominal bills for March @ Rs. 460 and April @ Rs.130 respectively.

                So for May, it seems very clear that the bill has been generated without any meter reading done simply on the basis of averages taken from previous year. Refer to attached bill

                This is a case of serious disregard of proper procedure and unnecessarily harassing and over charging a senior citizen.

                Request you to do a thorough investigation done and credit back the excess amount wrongfully charged to my account.

                  My name is Balai Basak, and my consumer number is [protected].From four to five months CESE do not send me any bill. I pay the bill by paytm Or, cash by depends on duplicate bill, it's not fair. Please, take a step earlier as possible. Thank you.
                  From last 2-3 months my meter reading is very high, so I request you to kindly check my meter at my place. Currently we are having old meter, so please check and do the needful as soon as possible.
                  As I don't stay at home except Sunday then why I have to pay 3500 electric bill please take action regarding this. It is impossible for me to give such huge amount.

                    On 12th june evening we watched that fire sparking continues from the phase loop from our meter room at 4pm i call cesc doc, no, [protected],[protected], and [protected], After a long time they came and repaired temporarily a fully burnt phase loop and other two half burnt phase loof remained untouched, After asking they replied that all loop will be changed permanently by heavy loop box within 7days, but today 10th days running but still awaited, they had not came yet.
                    it may cause sever danger for my building as well as my locality
                    So I therefore request you kindly immediately take a drastic action against the traumatic situation and change all the weak phase loop replaced by heavy and strong load capacity phase loop not MCB, as soon as possible.
                    So that we can avoid all the accident in upcoming future.

                      Dear Team, I already raised a complain that my bill amount is very high as compared to my last months usages and last year usage.

                      From the last 3 months i was complain that my meter is being read incorrectly and every type new bill was given to me post changing the reading submitted by my and my bill amount till date from past years as never exceeded 2000 rs. This month bill generated is showing 3000 which is very high. I suspect my meter to be faulty kindly take a quick active and resolve the issue ASAP.

                      I am very frustrated with the kind of action being taken from the last 3 month.

                                This month I have received very high electricity bill from CESC Kolkata.In Actual we are using 2fans & 3 Tube lights (Day time their is no need of light in my flat and only one person stays mostly at night we resume with ac reversing with switching off the fans) but the Electic bill has come Rs.4340/- this month which is very much high than what it should be.(regular basis didnt excided 1500, last mnth the bill was 1006 evn with acs thn how comes this months comes so high)
                                I have a doubt in my mind that either Electric Metre is not working properly or someone is doing Electric theft from our metre as we are unable to check what exactly happening because the metres are locked in a room.
                                So request you to kindly look into it & resolve it as soon as possible.

                                  According to the bill the total unit consumed for May 2019 is 488 and the bill amount is Rs. 4250/- whereas in the previous month April, 2019 the unit consumed was 251 and the bill amount was Rs. 1780/-.
                                  Bill for May has been excessively charged.
                                  I think the meter reading is not taken or may be the meter is faulty or the person not take right meter reading.

                                  I am a consumer of cesc limited (customer id - [protected]) kolkata and very much annoyed after receiving electric bill for May, 2019.
                                  According to the bill the total unit consumed for May 2019 is 488 and the bill amount is Rs. 4250/- whereas in the previous month April, 2019 the unit consumed was 251 and the bill amount was Rs. 1780/-.
                                  Bill for May has been excessively charged.
                                  I think the meter reading is not taken or may be the meter is faulty or the person not take right meter reading.
                                  I request you kindly look into the matter and help to resolve the issue as earliest.
