An excess payment/transaction of rs 16840/-was done on 28.02.2019 through my credit card for new meter installation charges. This excess payment may be happened due to internet problem or some other reason. Bank has advised me to contact cesc for the refund of rs 16840/-

But, the excess payment/2nd transaction of rs 16840/- has not yet refunded or endorsed in my account.

I therefore request you to look into the matter and arrange for the same

    This is to bring to your kind attention regarding the subject sms in my registered mobile wherein you recorded that my present electricity meter reading is 4066. This appears to me abnormal and instantly i complained over phone that your meter needs checking. Accordingly a complaint no[protected] was registered. Your men inspected the meter which was found to be burnt and malfunctioned even after isolating mcb. It was also pointed out to your representative that the meter continued recording abnormally fast even after mcb was off. Your men then isolated the meter having cut the adjoining loop s. As advised by them and duly confirmed over phone from your office, i had deposited rs.1235/-to replace the burnt meter. The meter is then replaced and normalcy of power supply restored. Now i feel the meter reading as recorded by you on 06/08/19 is erronious for faulty meter. I also requested your comm. Mgr vide my letter dt.08/08/19 not to bill for payment due this error reading. Unfortunately i received an email (Copy enclosed) for payment of rs.21, 340/- based on the above faulty reading. I, therefore request you to consider my above electricity supply bill based on the facts stated. Awaiting your favorable response and oblige.

    Sir, in my letter dt.8th. August, 2019 to your commercial manager at your south regional office duly receipted on the same day, we prayed that due to meter fault, it showed abnormally high energy consumption reading. This has also been inspected bu your technical persons and advised to lodge a complaint. Accordingly the meter was replaced power supply normalcy restored. May i request you to check my energy consumption for the last twelve months when no such abnormality had occurred. Kindly reconsider my prayer so that i am not forced to pay such high amount for no fault of me. Awaiting your favorable response. Thank you, sukumar dutta

        On 11.08.2019 i lodged a complain with cesc that due to rain our electric line is non operative vide docket no. [protected]. The cesc people came and resorted the line with temporary connection. Our representative visited kalindee office of cesc at lease 4 (Four) times - for making the connection permanent. The last docket no. Is [protected] dated 06.09.2019. Our representative visited on 09.09.2019 with kalindee office. The officer assured him that cesc people will come on 08.09.19 or 09.09.2019. No people has come. This type of assurance was given 3 times.

          Request you to re-check the meter reading as the amount consumed is unbelievable and not justified. Please compare previous years reading as wel as last six months cosumption. As per your meter reading unit 151 to 471 but actual meter reading unit as on date 151 to 182. The reading seems to be wrong or misplaced. Reguest you to look into this matter as soon as possible.

              Amount deducted twice for the same bill for Customer id:[protected] with 2 different Aap- Google pay and phone pay.

              in phone pay it showed transaction failed. So i proceed the payment from Google pay which was successfull. Then i received sms that and even in the transaction history found that the Amount of Rs 1590 is been deducted twice from both the aap. So whole total Rs. 3180 is benn deducted for Customer id:[protected].

                  Respected Sir/Madam,
                  As per CESC Office mail ref. No. 05/15517/19 dated 01/08/2019. Inspection has been conducted for new connection. After inspection CESC forwarded a bill vide no.05/15517/19/5/1 dated 06.08.2019 in the name of Thakur Pada Sarkar, Applicant for security deposit Rs.8370/- and service charge Rs.21, 398/- and directed to paid total amount rs.29, 768/-. The above building for new connection to nearest lamp post distance is 05 feet and adjacent of the building where already CESC connection are available and connected their connection within 5 feet distance from the road/Lamp post. The applicant is not able to deposit the huge amount as forwarded by CESC which is totally illegal as per CESC norms and violation of rules. After repeated request through Mail/telephone/personal appearance, till date no action has been taken by the CESC nor received any call from CESC office regarding re-inspection or amendment of bill. In view of the above for collection of authorized amount from the customer and trying to collect extra amount from the new consumer, violation of CESC Norms, we do not have any alternative way as Consumer. In view of the above, With consent of my relative Thakur Pada Sarkar this complaint has been lodged. It is requested for appropriate action in this regard.

Also please note that as per your acknowledgement letter the address is wrong it should be read as 75/74 d s. N. Roy road kolkata 38, as it was changed by kmc from 129/p j. K. Paul road kolkata -700038., which was previously allocated.

                      I have been facing voltage fluctuation issue at my home over couple of weeks. I complaint multiple times but did not get any resolution. Below are the docket numbers:

                      There is one box just beside my home and very frequently burning smoke coming out of the box with loud sound and voltage getting fluctuated at my home.

                      Cesc officials behave very rudely over the telephone and today one gentleman suggested me to inform 'fire brigade' instead of calling to cesc when i told him there is burnt smoke coming from the box.

                      I hope cesc officials would take this issue seriously before any serious incident occurs. Below are some of my details.

                            From april 2019 i am getting bills i cannot understand. April bill was rs 570 but i was instructed not to pay. May 2019 i was charged rs 1830. June was rs 200 and now bill for july s 1990.
                            I physically went to your office in gariahat. They said the matter will be resolved. But it didnt.
                            The amounts are too much. From earlier records you can find my bill never exceeded rs 900. This is a one room flat with no ac or other high voltage appliances.
                            Why is my bill not being properly calculated each month? Why are these being merged together? Is my residential meter being tampered?
                            Please consider this problem as early as you can.

                              I've received the july bill which is showing that i've consumed 271 units amounting to rs.1950 in the month of july. I've found that cesc is charging me abruptly and the rates are inflated by them. Also as per their mail communication, one person is suppose to visit on 2/8/19, to take the readig. I stayed there the entire day, but nobody came to take the reading, and because of that they've putted an arbitrary value. Still it is higher than even last year and last few months average. Only 2 fans and 2 lights are used there and hence it is proved that the bill is inflated surely by them which is very unethical. Please take some action to resolve the issue. I've intentionally not paid the bill of the month, previously i never failed to make payment within the stipulated timeline.

                                    I don't understand why CESC is not taking initiative to solve this problem and why not giving a permanent solution. I pay bill on time, every formalities and I have done according to the rules and regulation laid down by CESC . But your service is very poor and it's really disappointing me.

                                      I have a meter vide consumer no [protected] & customer id [protected] in my premises. Although the meter is un the name of nrusingha biswal vide address 8d/1 rajani bhattacharjee lane.in spite of several reminder this person is not taking iniative to shift the meter & always giving threats. Kindly take immediate action to shift this meter in his premises.
