It is very disappointing that CESC people asking people to sign an aggreement of no objection, they want the electrcity supply to shut down during weekdays from 11am to 4pm. It seems people and business people like us should close down our operations??? They should work at night or during weekends. It is highly disappointing from their end to even for these. The reason we get for this is, "we cant work on sunday, we need holiday." I mean this is ridiculous. I hope we see our goverment officials take some sensible decision.

    I had made an online payment of my electric bill using SBI online banking of Rs 394.56 and the said amount has been deducted from my account but my CESE bill was not paid . Transaction was done using Billdesk. I tried to pay the bill again. So in turn my bill amount was deducted twice from my account.

    I got receipt. CESE send me a mail with the receipt. They mailed pdf document and updated in their site. It took 3-4 days to resolve this. Also the other amount is adjusted in next bill.

Last three month our electric bill average 4000/- which is really impossible . I hope it seems to be your meter verification / reading taken are abnormal or may meter get malfunction . Request you to stop delivery my current bill and recheck the same thoroughly .

Cant find a helpline number for the same to address my issue. Due date is 5/08/2015 Don't know if bill paid or not and amount is debited from my account. Please help at the earliest.

It is only mentioned have been charged for 295 units where, I consumed 120 units. I faced the same problem last year in june & july months bill.I did not complain that time .           I received phone call from CESC today.They assured my to solve my problem.They issued a new bill today.Thank you very much for solving my problem.

          I am P.E.Ramachandran, and my CESC consumer No.[protected] (customer I.D. is [protected]) . The bill amount for September, 2015 is Rs.1840/-(net). It is very high amount as my consumption is not very high . Earlier also I have noticed similar problem of inflated amount being charged and not the actual meter reading . Kindly go thru the meter and chek it up immediately . Please replace the meter, in case it is faulty. Please rectify the defects if any, immediately as the monthly bills are going up every month without any valid reason or justification.

          Your early action will be highly appreciated.

          Therefore, I, humble requested to you please check my meter properly ( which is not checked from long time also) and provide me the heard copy bill every month .

I paid my all Electric bills within Time Frame ( upto June 2015) My Electric bill for May 2015 is not received till date. I am also unable to download my bill for May 2015 .                     This is inform you that payment has been taken 2 times from CESC while making online payment . My Consumer number is [protected] My Customer Id : [protected] I had first tried to make payment from Standard Chartered Bank where payment was done but payment page from CESC not came and i got replied that payment is not sucessful. Second time then i have made the payment from my SBI account and payment was accepted and got the receipt too But for my Standard Chartered account the amount which was deducted was not yet refunded and they said that Merchant has received the amount how come CESC is claming this amount when i have already made the payment from SBI pls kindly look after it and revert me.

                            Having power cut for the last 4 hours which has made the life miserable for my two children and elderly parents. I also sent sms to CESC at 4.37pm and the service was restored at around 6.30pm almost after 7 hrs of the power cut. Please look into the matter as nowadays our life almost comes to a halt with a powercut as everything we use in our daily life depends on power.

                                      On 20.7.2015 morning I paid online my CESC bill of amount Rs. 5440, (CESC customer ID: [protected], Customer name: Sri Sunil Mukherjee, address: 45/4B, Manujendra Dutta Road, Kolkata-28) via Billdesk using SBI internet banking. The amount has been deducted from my bank account but unfortunately CESC has not received the money yet. As informed by bank, the transaction Ref No. is IGOAJOMAJ7 for Rs. 5440 on 20/07/2015, 12:00:02 hours. Kindly let me know the status of the payment as early as possible and do the needfull.                                         I would like to inform there is seriously something wrong going on as I found that my electricity bill is coming almost double for last 3 months from the general months through out the year. And after looking at the bill both side I found that there is a column on the back where 6 months consumption chart given of the current and last year. And I found that my last 2 months electric consumption is exactly the same as 2014. How it is possible? This proves there is something wrong in the electricity bill. Or the meter reading is not done properly. Looking for the solution as soon as possible. And feel free to contact immediately.
