If regular monthly Meter Reading is not taken, the electric Units get accumulated and the total bill amount becomes very big and a financial burden on me for payment.     I have applied for a new CESC meter. The reference no is: 05/10469/15. It is not sanctioned to me and the reason shown to me is that another person named Ramani Mohan Das has an outstanding amount of Rs 6000 from the same area. I don't know who this person is. I want to know why this is being imposed to me. I am a new consumer, why should I have to bother about what other people has done? If CESC did not get the outstanding money from that person then it's because CESC is incapable of that money realization. Why should I suffer for that?

      We have CESC Electricity supply at our home. But the last month electricity bill information received by me from CESC through sms is just unexpected. My Consumer No: [protected] and Customer ID: [protected]. It is showing that this moth's bill is Rs.810. But it is impossible. Please, give me solution.

        Dear Sir/Madam mY cONSUMER nO:-[protected] Your department wants to suck the life out o[censored]s Someone from your office came and changed our meter when we didnt requested him to do so Also your man came and changed the meter when there was no male member present in the house Now the bills are coming so high [protected] what is this FOR YR INFORMATION WE HAVE OTHER HUSE AND SAME ELECTRONICS METER IS FIXED AND WHEN WE ARE USING COOLER AND PMP BUT CHARGES IS COMMING ONLY 800 TO 775 rS. PER MONTH BUT OVER HER WE ARE NOT USING THIS EVEN THEN CHARGES IS COMMING SO HIGH AND MORE SPECIALLY YR METER MAN rANA mUKER JEE ADMITTED THAT MER IS RUNNING FAST. We dont use any heavy appliances for our comfort In this heat we are rotenning just to pay high bills because of a faulty department like CESC I want to know with whose permission he changed the meter We are only sitting here to pay your department unnecessarily or what We dont use cooler ac water pump or any other luxurious appliances We are dying in fan and tubelight in this heat and your faulty department is sending sky touching bills after bills A few days back a person from your department come to check the meter and he said the meter is reading way to high So we wrote to your department requesting to change the meter as soon as possible Instead of changing the meter CESC dont have time to reply to our emails and messages We have paid 17 18 thousand rupees in last 8 9 months when we are not running any such appliances What is this Do you want to kill us Immediately change the meter Thanking you with Best Regards Bhanu Shanker Chowdhury

          For last two years CESC( Calcutta Electric Supply Co-operation) is charging us for 1000 unit excess.Many complaints have been lodged but they have fallen to deaf ears.Though, we were promised that the electric bills will be adjusted still till now no adjustments have been done. All the more, each month excess bills are being charged from us. Due to cable fault we are not getting any electric supply since 29th March 2015.However, for the month of April we have been charged for 632 units. Our consumer number is [protected]. My father, 76 years old heart patient, have made numerous rounds of CESC head office, but they are taking no action. They had said they will be sending an inspector to verify if our complaint is valid, but till date no action have been taken. I am making an earnest request to take this matter as high priority as we are without any proper electric supply even in this scorching summer and my father is a heart patient.We have been to many offices for help but no good. PLEASE HELP!

                Tremendous low voltage problem and I have docketed under CESC with Nos.3155231 (Consumer No.-[protected][protected]Consumer No-[protected]), yet no solutions been perceived against the complaint lodged on 03.06.2015. Will it be solved or not just a quarries then why we are paying bills every months?

                  With due respect, i would to like to state you that, our may month bill is 13, 990, which is surely an error, as you can check our past records of bill, and then you can understand the actual discrepancy, we would request you to kindly solve this matter as soon as possible for you, because it is not possible to pay such huge amount of bill. i required the genuineness of the bill.

                        Like other previous months I paid my April, 2015 bill ( for Rs 2783/- + surcharge ) by Net transferring on 2nd June, 2015, usually the E receipt delivered on line instantly, but till date I have NOT received the receipt, I am anxious being a very old senior citizen and having walking problem.                           I am consumer of CESC my consumer number is[protected] and I am running my business at 10. Biplabi Rashbehari Bose Road Kolkata 700001 for more than 15 years. My consumption of power was adjusted against some excess payment made and I received bill till July 2014. Very recently I came to know that the meter has been unauthorisely changed to some ones name and my consumer number is shown as invalid. You are requested to look in to the matter and reinstate our power supply immediately or I will be forced to take appropriate legal step. Hiten Mehta

                              I AM SHREE SANKAR PRASAD SAHA. MY CESC CONSUMER NO - [protected]. IN THE NAME OF LATE NANI GOPAL SAHA. I AM USING THIS METER OVER MORE THAN 50 YEARS. YESTERDAY(1/6/15) SOME PERSON CAME FOR AN INVESTIGATION FROM CESC AND WENT OUT AFTER DISCONNECTING MY SUPPLY, COMPLAINING SOME FAULT IN THE METER. I HAVE BEEN CALLED TODAY AT THE LOSS CONTROL CELL AND ASKED TO DEPOSIT Rs. 41000/- IMMEDIATELY TO RECONNECT THE LINE. THEY ARE TELLING MY METER HAS BEEN TEMPERED. BUT I AM RESIDING IN 2ND FLOOR OF AN APARTMENT CONSISTING OF 20/22 METER. SO IT IS BEYOND MY KNOWLEDGE IF ANY FAULT OCCURRED IN MY METER. HOW CESC CAN DISCONNECT THE LINE WITHOUT GIVING ANY TIME. AM I TAKING THE SUPPLY UNAUTHORIZED? I AM PAYING MY BILL ON REGULAR BASIS. THIS IS TOTALLY UNETHICAL AND UNJUSTIFIED. CESC SHOULD CLAIM THE FINE OR WHATSOEVER WITH PROPER EVIDENCE OF MY FAULT IN A LEGAL WAY, I DON'T MIND, BUT THEY CAN NOT HARASS THEIR CUSTOMER SUCH MENTALLY, PHYSICALLY( I HAVE PATIENT IN MY HOUSE), AND FINANCIALLY. I WANT JUSTICE.
