Respected Sir/Madam, I would like to ventilate my grievances through this letter. My consumer ID is [protected] and my Consumer No is [protected]. This Complaint is regarding my high bills with Bill No. : [protected] and Meter No : 1662213. I am a commercial user. I have a small store at 9, Rafi Ahmed Kidwai Road, Kolkata-700013 in which we usually run refrigerator for nearly 4 to 5 hours maximum in a day and 2 CFL bulbs which we enlight in the evening time for nearly 4 to 5 hours and have no fan. Though my December 2014 month consumption in bill was 50 units and January 2015 month consumption in bill was 43 units. But FEBRUARY 2015 month bill consumption is showing 97 units. I think either the meter reading is wrong or someone is hooking my electricity or someone is stealing from the meter box from inside. I was forced to raised a complain against a well esteemed Electricity Board. Please take action immediately and provide a solution. Regards, Mansoor Alam.           Dear Sir, While I tried to pay my energy Bill for Feb' 15, on line, using my Credit Card, first time the transaction was unsuccessful . But the Amount Rs. 1287.12, for Energy bill Amount Rs. 1270. 00 of Feb'15.was duly deducted. As such I had to pay the said Amount again to complete the transaction. When & how I can get the refund the said excess amount. Kindly provide me a line of reply on this count to my E-Mail ID [protected]@yahoo.com . Yours, A.K.Ganguli. consumer.

                Dear sir, This is Ajay Kundu, Cust id-[protected], Consumer No-[protected]. This Complaint is regarding my bills with bill no-[protected]. The jan bill was showing 310units, Feb bill is showing 279 units and March bill reading is 265 units. The electricity consumption is as follows- 01 no 0 watt bulb and one refrigerator is on for 24 hours and only one tube light is on for 7 hours and one tube for maximum 1 hour, one pedestal fan for maximum 8 hours. People whose consumption is more are getting one third of the billed amount, why more in my case. Urgent step is needed.

                  Sir, This is to inform the concerned authority that my consumer no. [protected] is being used at 8/J Topsia 1st Lane Kolkata 700 039, but its milling address is 32/12 Rai Charan Ghosh Lane Kolkata 700 039. Unfortunately due to some circumstances your courier group G.S. Enterprise is not properly delivering the bill to its milling address. This has become a regular practice of theirs which makes me to collect a copy of the bill from the office. Hence, forth I, Md Rafique want my bill to be delivered in the milling address as mentioned in the bill.                       Dear Sir/Madam, The or electricity consumption for Consumer no [protected] has been nil almost since the month of October 2014 as the building portion is unoccupied for we are not staying there since then and we are out of city. So, there is nothing to worry about. As the electric meter is all OK and does not need to be replaced. As and when we come back to the building and start staying then the meter will start showing the electric consumption automatically.                             CESE meter reading is completely on assumption basis and fully wrong as per their meter reading on 3/3/15 is 5992. At present dated 13/3/15 meter reading is 5893 units. How is it possible!!! For how long past this fraud practice is going on???? Please, take necessary action immediately. Name the person who took the reading ???

                              My MR NO. {05/03691/15(750)}. I already deposited the estimate amount.i almost everyday go to the shyambazar CESC office But i have disappointed.few days Before i meat mains engineer but he said to me before i'll do the municipality permission and then they will produce my meter.If i pay the service charge so then why i do the CESC's work??? For that case i lost many working days from my job.it is to much harassment for me. SIR / MADAM, please solve my problem and contact me as soon as possible.

It was assured by your officer at the counter that The metre will be installed within 3 to 4 days, but till today it was not done. The documents as refered are as under-----

As per my reading, units consumed for the month of jannuary'15 stands on -42 in place of 187 charged by CESC. How?                                     I am Mr Dilip Kumar Roy, I am 64 Yrs old and suffering from Hypertension, diabetes and Heart disease. In Nov 14, I received a electricity bill for Nov 14 for Rs 10750, which was unusual and defies logic, details are as follows: (Meter no. 0435511, Previous meter reading: 8825, Current reading:9999; Units consumed: 1174). I lodged a complaint via telephone with CESC(Mr Nazrul Islam Choudhary, Commercial executive on [protected]) complaining about that the meter reading noted by their representative was wrong. He promised to have the issue looked at and send me a corrected bill within 10 days but nothing happened. Finally, after repeated complains, some company personnel were sent to my house on 03 Jan 15 to check the reading, and change the meter. When they came, the Senior technician, Mr Mantu Kumar Pradhan (from Testing department, CESC Office, Bhavanipore) checked the final meter reading of the old meter and noted it as 9167 and also informed me of the same. He then removed the old meter and fitted a new one(Meter no. 5118325). After few days instead of my revised bill, I received my disconnection notice and bill for December 14(Bill no. [protected]), The details were as follows(Meter no. 0435511, Reading date 10/01/15, Previous meter reading: 9999, Current reading:9999; Units consumed: 0 and Gross amount payable as Rs 10790 of which Rs 10750 was arrears of previous month). I called the commercial executive again to complain that I have been sent the same wrong bill again. I was told to come to the Howrah regional office, to have the problem shorted out. When I went there on 30 Jan 15 and explained everything, I was told by the personnel attending that I would be sent a revised bill within 10 days. However I did not receive any revised bill as promised and repeated calls to the commercial executive and the CESC office(Phone No.[protected] fell on deaf ears. I was finally told by the Office that no action has yet been taken against my previous complaints and my previous visit(all the way from Sheoraphuly to Howrah) and was again asked to come the Howrah regional office. I again went there on 18 Feb 15. After much wait and telling my story from scratch to the company executive at the office, I was finally given my revised bill of Rs 2380 for Dec 14 against preevious bill no. 12141 for the same period. I paid the revised bill immediately at the office and thought that was the end of my woes. However on 29 Feb 15, I received my bill for Jan 15, which read as follows, (for meter no.0435511: previous reading: 9999, present reading:*******, unit consumed:174C and for meter no. 5118325: previous meter reading:1, present: 324, unit consumed:323C and Total reading of both meters= 497)Total energy charges=2857.71 and arrears of previous month as 2387.19 and gross amount as 5712.25. Now please 1. Where these all these come from? and 2. Prove ******* - 9999=174.I am a harassed old man. Please help me.

                                    For lawers and old timers, Please also tell me if I can sue CESC for deficiency of services, for mental and physical agony and claim compensation

                                      My Consumer no [protected]. I received today bill for the month of January 2015 for Rs51/- for ZERO unit though my actual consumption for the month of January 2015 is 100 Unit ( i.e. 1057 - 957 Unit).
                                      Present Reading as on 03.03.2015 is 1070 Unit.
                                      The person entrusted with the task of meter reading did the fault and I am being monetary penalised for payment of per unit charge at excess rate.
                                      I therefore request you to please recast the bill for the month of January 2015 for 100 Units and re issue the bill accordingly so that I can make payment of the same by 10.03.2015
                                      The person taking meter reading also be advised to be bit cautious in taking meter reading in future

                                        My cosumer number is [protected]. I made a payment of Rs 634 to CESC on 27/2/2015 using ICICI Bank Net Banking. The amount was debited from my account but no transaction slip/receipt was generated. I called up CESC Customer Care number and was asked to wait for 48 hours. Now even after 48 hours, there is no update and the latest payment status still does not reflect the payment that I made on 27/2/2015. Please send my transaction receipt to my email ID as soon as possible. Otherwise please reverse the transaction so that the funds are credited back into my account.

                                        I got the refund last night and the money was credited to my account. So I paid the bill again and this time the transaction was successful. I got the receipt. Thank you for your help.
