my consumer no is [protected], I have paid Rs1138/= for the month of November'14 through net banking, the amount was deducted instantly from my bank account BUT THE ACKNOWLEDGEMENT RECEIPT was not generated. Every month I pay through net banking. Infact I do not know whether the amount was received by CESC or not, I do not know How to check my cesc account. I have just completed an online transaction. The same has been acknowledged. The acknowledgement read as under :

    My address is at 2nd floor 348, Banerjee Para Road, Paschim Putiary, Kudghat, Kolkata 700041, My consumer no is [protected]. I would like to inform you that in the month of July 10th 2014 till 28th of August 2014 the house was locked, where in I found a bill amount of Rs. 6200/- is been send. I immediately went to Taratola office, where I meet with Mrs. Ruposhree Ghosh and raised an complain with immediate effect on dated 30/09/2014 of my faulty meter. She assist and assured me that I should pay upfront Rs 4000/- of the outstanding amount, and she will then arrange a technician visit at my place, which I paid on dated 30/09/2014 by cash as per her advice. However she was very rude while communicating with me and not at all customer centric, finally after the technician visit was made on dated 7/10/2014 the unit display was 88888888 the meter was found faulty, since then there was 5 different team of technician visit been made along with LLC team on dated 24/11/2014 stating that the meter was faulty, the gentle man who visited my place last time on dated 25/11/2014 is Mr. Stayen and Mr. Biswajit who also reported about the faulty meter and came to my place for disconnection, after query I came to know from them that they have been send by Mrs. Ruposhree Ghosh without my concern and without any intimation. Since August 2014 till dated I was been built an estimated reading which was not been committed to me, however, I was also been asked to sign an no objection letter for the replacement of the faulty meter in the month of October 2014, which is been handed over to Mrs. Ruposhree Ghosh, which was later been denied and refused by Mrs. Ruposhree Ghosh and Mr. Dhruva Chatterjee. I was also been promised and advised that a test meter will be placed, which was not been placed yet, however I am getting threat of disconnection of my meter by the department. I am still been harassed and very concern about the unprofessional approach by Tatatola Branch CESC Ltd, I request you and your team to kindly look into this matter with immediate attention and fix this issue by sending a specialized team from your department to view the meter status and get it sorted with proper adjustment and wave off as applicable with the replacement||of faulty meter, as it is getting very difficult for me and my family to made them released the critically of the situation. I would appreciate if someone from your dept. could give me a call and resolved this issue of estimated meter reading ASAP, Thanks Animesh Chakraborty [protected]

      Respected Sir/Madam, I would like to ventilate my grievances through this letter. My consumer ID is [protected] and my Consumer No is [protected]. I have a small store at 9, Rafi Ahmed Kidwai Road, Kolkata-700013 in which we usually run refrigerator for nearly 4 to 5 hours maximum in a day and 2 CFL bulbs which we enlight in the evening time. These are the two things which run in my small shop but i am seeing the consumption units are very high coming in bill from couple of months. I think either the meter reading is wrong or someone is hooking my electricity or someone is stealing from the meter box from inside.         Dear Sir/Madam, Our consumer number is [protected]. This consumer number is in the name of Sri Tara Sankar Das of 61/2/3 Chatterjee Para Lane, Kadamtala, Howrah - 711 101 and I am his son writing this mail. The purpose of writing this mail to you is that at around 12:15 p.m. on December 01, 2014 one Md. Jahangir Hossain who claimed to come from the CESC office in Bhawanipur came to my residence in Howrah and mentioned to my mother (aged 83) and my younger daughter who was at home since her final examinations were over that he has come in connection with reviewing of our electric meter. For this reason, my mother and daughter let him in and after checking he told them meters are to be changed and started removing the old one. My mother asked him as to why they have come. To this the man said that a complain was lodged. When my mother said that she does not know of any complain made the man said the office made a complain. My mother did not understand what the man meant. Anyway the man changed one meter (No. 0692927) installing the new one he brought. In this regard, may I also mention although we have two meters only one was changed. While he was at work my mother asked him as to whether he has any work order with him from the CESC office for doing the same or whether she is required to sign any papers that such a change of meter has been made and that the work has been done. To this the person said nothing such was required and that he has changed it and that is enough. Instead, he suggested that we change the name for consumership after he heard that my father has passed away. I teach at the Jadavpur University and after returning home from work at night I came to know all this has happened and also that the person did this work without showing any work order or for that matter showed no papers whatsoever). I am really worried and do not know whether the person really came from the CESC office or not. Kindly let me know and treat this matter as urgent. Please let me know the matter after an enquiry from your end. I would also be grateful if told if this is the practice nowadays for CESC that people are coming to residence without any work order etc or has there been a lapse in this case.         The electric wires within the meter box of our apartment are lying in a mess. Recently, spark of fire was emerging from it. The situation is dangerous. At any moment, fatal incident may happen. Hence please dress the wires within the box properly at your earliest to avoid any unfortunate incident.

            Hi I have paid CESC online through Net banking on 3rd Nov 2014 Rs 1553.49 for Consumer no. [protected] and accounting month and year 09/14. I also paid Rs 1873.49 for Consumer no. [protected] and accounting month and year 09/14. However please see that 2 more transactions in an attempt to pay Rs 1553.49 failed but my ICICI bank account has been debited as will be seen in the bank statement as below: 03/11/2014 03/11/2014 BIL/[protected]/CESC 1 SEP 14/CESC _AICI354102 1, 553.49 03/11/2014 03/11/2014 BIL/[protected]/CESC 1 Sep 14 agai n/CESC_AICI3541 1, 553.49 I expected the incomplete transaction amount ( Rs 1553.49 + 1553.49) will automatically be credited back to my sb account with ICICI bank.               With solemnly I want convey you that in the month of september there was a hike in consumed units irrespective of consumption o[censored]nits, previous and after to september. Normally, the units range within 100-120 units.but suddenly in the month of september, the consumed units was 164 units.I have complain in your office but till date no action is taken . The sudden hike in units has forced me to report a complain against a well esteemed Electricity Board. kindly look at this matter as early as possible. Awaiting for your response.

                        Hi, I received a bill of Rs. 1530 for October 2014 which is very high compared to what I pay usually. My September bill was Rs. 1520 (which included August arrears and September 128 units bill). I got 230 units for October which is double that usually comes and is quite impossible. Could CESC please explain why am I so highly billed? I think there was no meter reading taken and the last bill was arbitrarily repeated. Could CESC please explain this and make necessary corrections as early as possible? I am disappointed.

                                    Dear Sir/Madam, It is very unfortunate to inform you that I am getting average bill from CESC from last 4 months. Till date I have not found any meter Reader to take my actual reading. Last time I got an automated mail from CESC that “Your meter is scheduled to be read on 23/11/2014” I have waited for the day to help the meter reader but it is my very untoward that no one from CESC have not given the visit. Please note that I never received any SMS alert of date of meter reading form CESC where as all of CESC consumer get the same information through SMS.                                       We received october 14 bill against consumer no [protected], Calculating total unit 139 for Meter Reading "previous 2409" but "Present reading" is not showing (***). Now practically the Meter reading is 2421 on 24.11.14 i.e. the total unit can not be more than 12. Now I request you to correct the bill and pl generate a new Bill so that i can pay oct'14 bill in due date Sudipta Mitra
