Meter Reading in Consumer No. [protected] in the Mita Sarkar at (L.P. 120/6) 2, Joyshree Nagar, P.O. Dakshineswar, Kolkata - 700076 not done during the month of July'14, but in the Bill for June 2014, Meter Reading Date mentioned as 03.07.2014. Moreover, Consumption o[censored]nit, Net amount payable and Due Date of payment not mentioned. Accordingly, we are unable to pay the Bill for June'14. We request you to look into the matter. As a result of non-reading of Meter in the next month my accumulated Bill will be more as well as rate per unit will be more since the total unit will fall under higher slab. We are receiving e-mail and SMS for the date of meter reading but in most of the months meter readings are not taken during the dates mentioned in the e-mail.

    I have already paid the Electricity Bill for June 2014 through online on 24th July, 2014. My Consumer No.[protected] Name Mr. Narayan Prasad Chakraborty, Address 88A, Nandan Kanan, P.O. Hind Motor, Dist. Hooghly, PIN 712233. My Bank A/c has been debited by the Bill Amount i.e. Rs.1797/=. But still the Bill is showing outstanding. Kindly make necessary corrections so that the captioned Bill may show PAID..

    Hi,

    I am experiencing an weird issue while trying to pay bill online for june'14 using CESC website.
    Previously the same facility i used without any hassle.

    The Customer Number(11 digits) which are there in the monthly bill are not recognised as a valid number when I am trying view the monthly bill for month of june'14 online which is pretty strange.

      Dear sirs, This has the reference of the Customer ID [protected], Consumer No [protected].I Sumati Biswas W/o Late Samaresh Kumar Biswas, expressing my grievance regarding the excessive bill for the month of June2014. The amount is Rs.7002.00 (Rupees Seven thousand and two only), and also expressing that, i am unable to pay such amount. And, i have inform you that the amount is claiming by the CESC is the highest amount in the history of the mentioned consumer number above. and I also inform you, that i didn't increase any utilities (Higher electric consuming product) in my home for previous five years to the best of my knowledge.         My Consumer No. is [protected] and Customer Id. [protected]. The bill for the month June, 2014 (no. [protected]) showing total unit consumption of 1449 and bill amount payable Rs. 11230/= under the referred meter. This is excessively high and can not happen. In fact, consumption during the same period was 19 units only during the last year. Moreover, nowhere since installation, such huge amount has been consumed under the referred meter.         I, Prabir Kumar Munshi, having Consumer no [protected], regret to inform you that I have received Bill for the month June 2014 showing bill amount Rs 3970/- which I think it as a huge amount because I generally pay bill for every month. But this time I received bill for gap of three months causing huge amount for no reason. Incidentally for the first time I paid bill through e- payment by using my Debit card. Since then I did not receive any bill month wise. I noticed that my bill was not prepared and each time it was said that bill would be sent in the next month and ultimately bill was prepared for last three months for which I am not responsible. Hence huge amount of bill was sent to me for consumption of 631 units. If the bill for each month would have been prepared, the units would be much lower and bil for each month would be much lesser. But for unknown reason bill was prepared for three consecutive months.

        I will face lot of trouble to pay such a huge amount of bill . So you are requested to Kindly consider my case to pay lesser amount and hence forth the bill should be sent in each month separately and not in three consecutive months at a time.
        CESC LIMITED IS DOING CHEATING WITH THE CUSTOMER BY CHARGING EXCESSIVE BILL AMOUNT.

            Dear Sir/Madam, Re: Unacceptable Electricity Bills against Consumer Number: [protected] of Kankana Ghosh With due respect I like to apprise you of the fact that the bills which I received in month of April 2014, May 2014 & June 2014 against my monthly consumption, were higher than usual. I have already checked my regular consumption in my house and have not found any problem regarding that. I tried to communicate with your NRO verbally, but they were not able to give satisfactory answers to my queries. Therefore I request you most earnestly to look into the matter deeply and adjust amount if any discrepancy was found on your part. I would also like to remind you that my Meter (No. : 2835550) is too old and not a digital one. So if you think that the meter is required to be inspected, please make necessary arrangements for that. If you can change my old meter with a new one, I think this problem might have a solution, so that I will not be charged with such a heavy amount on a regular basis anymore. Please feel free to call me at [protected] for any support or availability prior to visit to my place for any inspection.                 Respected sir,
                This is to informe you that my self avijit mitra.I am one of your customer of cesc limited. My consumer no is [protected](Domestic type).Last 2.5 years we have consumed your electrical facility happily and paid our electric bill regularly.Last three month we have consumed averagely 118 electrical units.But when the june bill was come to my home i was really astonished. The unit consumed shows in the bill was 164.For your better information i want to informe you, in my flat i have one t.V, one washing machine, one refrigarator.Till now i don't understand how can it possible the units increase from 118 to 164 in one month.So it my humble request to you please give the explanation about this matter as early as possible.

                    It's a Complaint of high bill for the month of June14 (Consumer No [protected]). I have received 4 times higher bill for the month of June14 as compared to my average usage. Even if compared with my past usage history, the matter can be established at ease. I do not have AC, still getting bill of 276 unit which is 3 times higher as compared to my past consumption history. Some of the other members in my apartment are also having similar complaint. It seems either there is some error/mistake in meter reading or there may be incidence of power theft. Kindly investigate the matter & revert back

                        My consumer no. is [protected]. When regular meter reading is taking place could not understand how June bill amount was astonishingly higher approx. 170% of May bill amount. To make matters worse when finally paid the amount after having arranged the extra amount on 24.7.2014, a day late I had to pay the gross amount of Rs 4880/- as indicated in your web site. If this be so I could have delayed payment further. Moreover for all house holds in the vicinity are also clueless as how the June bill could be so inflated with no explanation given. Is it that meter readings were not taken as per your intimations? As a senior citizen would request a) To allow suitable rebate in my July bill & b) Give a logical explanation for inflated amount charged in June, 2014 bill when May bill was higher than April bill.                               Dear Sir/ Ma’am, The applicant is occupying at Flat No. C-2, Jeevan Niwas Bulding, Pramatha Chowdhury Sarani, Block-R, New Alipore, Kolkata – 700 053 as a tenant and is the consumer in respect of the subject Meter which is registered with the CESC in the name of his Landlord Shri Gour Gopal Banik. The issue pertains to the regular overbilling of my electricity meter for the months of May, 2014 and now June, 2014. As per the bill, the total units consumed for the months of May, 2014 and June, 2014 were 615 and 517 units respectively due to which the billed amount for the respective months came out to be in excess of Rs. 4, 000/- each for both the months. This is in contrast and serious contradiction to my earlier electricity charges which used to hover some where around 150 units p.m. These overly exaggerated electricity bills have come as a rude shock and utter surprise as my electricity consumption has not increased in the same proportion. This is to further submit that the applicant has never been a defaulter in making prompt and timely payment of his electricity charges which can be verified from the records. In view of the above, it is requested to look into the matter at an urgent basis and to rectify the erroneous reading of my electricity meter for May and June, 2014 at least and to save me from any mental agony and /or financial loss(es). It is also requested that the excess electricity payment made by the applicant, as detailed above, may be adjusted against the electricity bills for the months of July, 2014 onwards. Thanking You.                               This complaint is requesting from M/s. Su-kam Power Systems Ltd. which has established at 1st Floor, LP.3/4 157/2/A, Dunlop More, Gopal Lal Tagur Road, Kolkata-700035 as a tenant and is the consumer in respect of the subject Meter which is registered with the CESC in the name of his Landlord Mr.Pursottam Agarwal. The issue pertains to the excess billing of our electricity meter for the months of April, 2014 and now June, 2014. As per the bill, the total units consumed for the months of April, 2014 and June, 2014 were 818 and 1632 (Bill No.[protected]) units respectively due to which the billed amount for the respective months came out to be in excess of Rs. 17, 000/- each for both the months.                                   Hi It has been quite sometime that we are getting exorbitant bill amounts. For the month of June 2014, we got a bill amount of INR 4380. This is just ridiculous and we are not understanding what is the root cause of this. We need this to be seriously investigated because we continue to use the same appliances as we did in 2013 and prior to that. But why are we getting such bills now? Kindly help us resolve this issue.

                                      Sir, We have 5 no.s Fans, 6 no.s Lights, 1 no. Refrigerator (whole day), 3 no. TV, 1 no. Water Pump, connected at my residence. We have no AC / Geyser. The electricity bill amount of June 2014 is abnormally high Rs 2880.00. I cannot understand on the month of May 2014 the amount is Rs 1600.00 but on the month of June 2014 it increases by Rs 1200.00. The meter may be malfunctioning, please arrange to check and if needed change the meter. The detail is given below.                                         Sir, This is not a complaint.This is a request.I like to state that my family not been living at the above mentioned address since June, 2014 and hence no electricity has been consumed from June, 2014.The bill for June, 2014 was raised based on average consumption and the bill has since been paid.Now, since we are not living at above address, I request you to note this information and do the needful so that no bill for consumption of electricity is raised from July, 2014 tiIl I start living at the address which would be intimated to you at the material time.
