As per Supreme Court ruling in May 2012, car window tinting is illegal. However, Maruti Suzuki and its dealers continued to sell tinting products under the brand name of MGA and ripping customers.

I bought a new vehicle in Sep 2012 and was charged 2500/- for tinting. I consider the activity of selling such product to be illegal. I have reached out to Maruti twice but they are not responding since they are very much aware that they have done an illegal sale.

Can the Consumer Complaint Forum take any action and protect the consumers of India from such illegal sales. In fact, Maruti should refund the amount charged for all such products sold after the Supreme Court ruling.

    Maruthi Suzuki — facing vibration in car

    sir,
    i bought a new swift few months ago from indus motors,telicherry kannur dt.from the begining i am facing vibration while driving always and i made a complaint to maruthi suzuki and they once took my car and told they have done it right but still i am facing the same problem.the vibration is really irritating while travelling.my reg. no of the vehicle is KL58 C 8366.so i hope you will consider my complaint as fast as possible.

      I have purchased Suzuki Access 125 on 09/03/2011. from the starting vehicle's rear wheel not ok,for this i complaint to dealer that it is manufacturing defect but than said to me that in service it will be repaired. after that in every service i complaint for this problem but no action has been taken. now service center is not servicing the vehicle in warranty.vehicle in service center from last 12 days

      Suzuki Access 125 — warranty

      I have purchased suzuki access 125 from Dwarka Suzuki Mahiver Enclave on Months Feb 2012 .
      But last months is not starting Properly .Company is not listening.Plz do not buy such vehicle.
      Waste of money. I am very Disappointed with suzuki Company Pls Help me
      i had purchased access 125 in the month of june 13 from nangia automotive at Nagpur. I am facing the lock problem which has held the scooter from 3 days as the keys are not operating.

      I want to know the quality issues with the scooter.
      I have purchased suzuki access 125 2012 But last months is not starting Properly .Company is not listening.Plz do not buy such vehicle.

        I own a Maruti Zen car of 1998 model Registration no.AS 01 G 7027. Gradually the efficiency of the car has been detorating. So I consult at Maruti servicing centre at Beharbori, N.H. 37,Guwahati-781029. They suggested me to change the clutch presser plate and related works. After delivery I have not found any difference of effiency of the car. They charge me Rs. 30000.00 and I have paid. But they could not deliver me old parts which were changed as per their invoice inspite of my repeated request. Therefore I doubt they have not change any parts just clean the vehicle and delivered. Their invoice no is BR1200020 and job card no.JCI 12000592 dated 18/05/2012.           MY SELF K C MEENA I PURCHESED A CAR MARUTI SUZUKI AUTHORISED DEALER VIPUL MOTOR SAWAIMADHOPUR[RAJ] MARUTI SUZUKI SWIFT LXI IN THE MONTH OF APRIL 2012 ON 14 FEB IAM DRIVING THE CAR ON HIGHWAY SUDDENLY THE GEAR WAS NOT WORKING PROPERLY THEN I STOPPED THE CAR ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AFTER THAT WHEN I START THE CAR IT STARTS BUT IT DOSEN’T RUN .
          THEN I CALL TO VIPUL MOTORS WORKSHOP FOR HELP AND SOLVE THE PROBLEM BUT THEIR STAFF DO NOT CO-OPERATE TO ME AND SAID TO ME THAT TOW THE CAR TO THE WORKSHOP .
          AFTER LONG ARGUMENT THEY SENT A MECHANIC THEN HE FOUND THE PROBLEM. HE SAID TO ME THAT THE CLUTCH PLATES BEEN DAMAGED .
          I TOLD THEM THAT ,THAT IS MY NEW CAR HOW IT IS POSSIBLE .HE TOLD ME THAT IT CAN HAPPEN IN ONE HOUR OR CAN BE IN ONE MINUTE ALSO .I AM SHOCKED AFTER LISTNING TO HIM .
          NEXT DAY 15.02.2013 I VISTE TO THE WORKSHOP AND NEGOCIATE WITH WORK SHOP MANAGER, SALSEMEN,ETC.THEY SAID TO ME THAT I HAVE TO PAY THE CHARGE OF PARTS AND LABOUR CHARGES ALSO.AND WE HAVE NOT THIS PART IN OUR WORKSHOP WE HAVE TO DEMAND IT FROM JAIPUR .
          TILL DATE THERE IS NO ACTION TAKEN AND SAID PARTS NOT AVAILABLE .
          MY CAR IS UNDER WARRANTY AND I WANT TO KNOW SHOULD I HAVE TO PAY FOR THIS?

            Dear Sir,

            I have purchased a Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire ZDI on 16th Jan' 2013 from T.R. Sawhney Motors Pvt. Ltd, Indraprasta Metro Station, Mahatma Gandhi Marg, New Delhi - 110002. My buying experience was bad that I cannot forget in my life time. I was delivered the vehicle and the keys were snactched by the Dealer's Executive for a differential payment which they could not justify. Finally I had to take assistance of Police and take the vehicle into custody.

            After two days of delivery I was handed over the Temperory Registration papers and was communicated that the permanenet Registration Certificate will be delivered with the Permanent No within one month. For the Registration process I had also paid the Dealer Rs. 4000/- for managing underhand payment to the Registering Authorities. The dealer has also given me receipt of the same mentioning other charges.

            Till date one month is foing to end but I am yet to receive the permanent Registration papers. I have been following up with the dealer but they are not able to give me justified answer that when shall I receive the same. I have only received a slip which is dtd: 31st Jan 2013. The dealer executive informs that this is valid for another month and I can drive the vehicle without hassels. The dealer's executive even says that Maruti is well aware of the fact.

            My point is when I have paid extra Rs. 4000/- for underhand payment to the dealer why is the Registration process delayed. Underhand payment is nothing but promoting corruption practices and the dealer is openly doing the same officially. The entire country and Government is fighting for stopping corruption but here Maruti Dealers are promoting corruption. This is against the law of the country.

            Further when Government have streamlined the process at every stage where is the delay happening. Is it from the dealer end or authority end?

            I want this case to be investigated and the underhand payment of Rs. 4000/- should be refunded to me.

            I regret to inform you that my Vehicle Swift Dezire ( Regd. No. DL 3CBC 3967) met with an accident on 22.05.2010 and have gone for repairing work to APRA Auto Okhla, new Delhi. Despite my follow up with the above stated Dealer. I have bneen informed of late that the some of the Parts Like Bumper, are not available in Maruti even. They have given the Indent to MUL but not getting the Spares. I can't believe and don't subscribe to their statment that a Company like Maruti does not manufacture Spares/ Parts of the Product they sell. So please do let me know whom do I believe ???? As I have already suffered a lot and now seeking your intervention in resolving the issue. Will you kindly revert back with a postive & early action on this.

            My compaint dated 09.07.08 on excess billing, non payment of interest for delayed delivery and exorbitant prices for spare parts charged by the dealer Popular Vehicles Pvt Ltd. Trivandrum is still pending. I regret to note that the company has failed to protect the interests of its customers even after a period of 2 years.

              Dear Sir,

              Subject: Non refund of full booking amount by Cars India and deduction of 25% as penalty; Request needful action for refund of full advance.


              1) On Dec.22, I made an advance of Rs.5000/- to one Mr.Gunasekaran
              of Cars India, Valasarawakkam, Chennai for booking Wagon R. I was
              issued a receipt for the same on a white paper (copy will be sent to
              you, if needed) and I was told that there would not be any problem
              in refund of the advance if the suitable model and colour was not
              availavble. On Dec. 25, as advised by him (Mr.Gunasekaran), I sent an
              email to him mentioning that I would like to wait for 2013 model and
              the advance may hence be refunded.

              2). Not hearing anything from Mr.Gunasekaran/Cars India for full 20
              days, till Jan.16, I contacted him again, and he advised me to send an
              email requesting for refund of the advance. Accordingly I sent an
              email on Jan 16, requesting refund of advance of Rs.5000/-.
              I can forward you the emails sent by me to Cars India, if needed.

              3) On being told to collect the refund of advance, I went to Cars
              India, valasarawakkam on Feb 9, and to my utter shock and dismay, I
              was asked to collect a cheque of Rs.4000/-, instead of Rs.5000/-. I
              was curtly told that an amount of Rs.1000/- was penalty. In this
              connection, I would like to bring to your notice that at no point of
              time, either at the time of or after making the advance, I was told
              that 25% of the advance would be deducted as penalty.I did not collect
              the cheque. for the part amount.Had I known earlier, I would not have
              paid the advance at all. On questioning, I was told by Mr. Gunasekaran/Cars India
              that one of the forms that I had signed has a clause regarding the cancellation fee.
              This amounts to utter breach of trust as, the form was signed in good faith and
              had I been informed about the penalty I would have taken more time to decide.

              4. Collection of 25% of advance as penalty, that too after the amount
              was lying with Cars India from Dec.22 to till the date of cheque( that
              too for the part amount)in Feb.2013, amounts to, to say the least,
              unfair and usurious practice. Further, it is also against the
              principles of natural justice.

              5. Hence, it is requested that the amount of Rs.5000/- may kindly be
              refunded to me at the earliest.

              6. May I also bring to your notice that my family (my father, my brother-in-law and my cousin) has
              been trusting Maruti since a long time and it is very unfortunate that such a breach of trust should
              have been committed by one of your authorized dealers with us.

              Maruti — Return of advance payment not in full

              Previously when a car is booked and cancelled the companies used to return the deposit money in full and even with the accrued interest there upon. Now I have been returned the cash after reducing Rs.500. Can they do that even in with the backup of small print disclaimer to that effect?

                Dear Sir,
                I have booked swift dzire vdi on 01 Aug. 2012 at Lovely Autos Dr. Ambedkar Chowk Jalandhar on the name of Marhuri Bawa. The number of the sales person is out of service. The delivery date as per order booking form is 30 jan,2013 .
                As per your telephony talk on 16 jan 2013 with the person incharge is Rashmi (contact number 0 [protected]) she told me that cars will arrive on 25 jan. 2013 and she will confirm me when my booked car will arrive. And I send her the message the details of booking and confirm her that all payment is ready.
                And on 29 jan 2013 Rashmi told me that I will get my car delivery in last of february 2013. And I again send her sms that payment is ready, And she does not reply.
                And then I send mail to maruti customer care. And then some person called me that I will get car on 5 Feburary 2013.
                And again when I called lovely autos then again they rudely told me that i will get my car in last of feburary 2013.
                I want to take strict action against Lovely autos order booking (where delivery date mentioned is 30 jan 2013).

                maruti suzuki swift dzire car — delay in delivery of car after booking

                i booked aswift dzire diesel car in april 16 2008.at the time of booking dealer(popular automobile kochi) told me that delivery will take one month.now they are telling that it will take five months.they told me that production of car is now stopped due to some technical problems.this is very arrogating to all coustomers who booked &waiting for the car.

                as the above said vehicle i had booked through a dealer by name Durga Motors (P) Ltd No. K-604 on 03rd April'08 on Full Payment of Rs.6, 51, 000/- of vehicle and the dealer keep on dodging stating that there is waiting period and asking me to go for some other color which is not suitable to me i had requested him to give the color which i have booked the choice was ARCTIC White so he is keep on postponing the dates as per his promise while booking was 15 days from the date but he had not kept his promise so i would request u to necessary action and deliver the vehicle by this week kindly do the needful at earliest. if there is
                no response i have to file a case in Consumer Forum HYD.

                Maruti Suzuki — Delay in Delivery of Vehicle - Swift Dzire ZDI

                Hi,

                I have booked Swift Dezire ZDI in Prem Automobiles, Agra on 11/08/2009 by paying them 5000.00 cheque.

                They assured the delivery of vehicle by the end of august. The dates were posponed consistently and now they are saying that the vehicle will be delives by first week of October.

                This is unacceptable. They should not take a booking until and unless they are sure of the delivery date themselves.
                sir, I had booked my Alto LX, a month ago in shaurya moters Ltd. Jammu, but i have not yet received . The above said dealer is doing wrong commitments . When i want to know about delivery date, they ask me to wait for 2-3 days. But a month is ago, I get no information . I had already paid money but I still have to wait for months. sometimes they are not attend my phone calls . They ask me to buy Alto LXI instead of Alto LX beacause there is delay in sevice of Alto LX. I agree but they still ask me to wait for a long . I want a strict action against this Shaurya motors Ltd.                   But later we realised that we were conned or cheated by them
                  They gave us the repainted car (we came to know it later)

                  And i have a doubt that they gave us the 2nd hand car or it was a demo car, .....but it is not a brand new car


                  And we have also conveyed it to the dealer and he accepted that there is a defect but he is not ready to give us a new car instead of this one

                  He said we will repair this car...but my question is.... why we accept a repaired car...??
                  Aap batayiye .....kya hame accept karni chahiye....???

                  Our feelings have been hurt with this shameful act of the dealer and his subordinates

                  We want justice
                  We want a new car......we will not accept this act of cheating.

                  Dear Sir/ Madam,

                  Actually i am feeling very bad while complaining about the gaint Maruti Suzuki, whome all the world trust.

                  I am not dissatisfied with the manufacturer maruti, but the persons using the name and not bearing all their responsibilities properly in dealing the customers and delivering them satisfactory services.

                  I purchased a Maruti Alto From one of your Jaipurs' dealer known as Prem Motors Pvt Ltd. I handovered purchase order and paid all the money required on 26/10/09 afternoon and the executives promised me to deliver me the car with the modifications i asked them to do on 28/10/09 till 12.00pm as we were having Mahurat at 6.15pm of Wednesday.

                  Today itself i collected some documents related to registrations of the car at 2.30pm and registered the as RJ14CJ0621 and again confirmed the executives about registration at 4.00pm.

                  As i was confident about the delivery of the car , i reached te showroom at 5.15pm ,just one hour before Mahurat(i.e. 6.15pm)
                  and asked the executives about the then they replied that car is coming but at 5.50pm they said that car is available without modification and coming within 10 minutes but the car came at 7.00pm.
                  I was there to receive the car with my nephew ,who is only 8 months old. We all waited there around 2 hours and then again they failed to deliver the car. As i have paid all for the car ,so i have to buy but i am totally dissatisfied all executives and managers.
                  I don't think i am going purchase further from any maruti showroom. Even i am dissatisfied with the beahveour of the irresponsible executives.
                  Looking forward for your positive response regarding my mail.

                      I bought a maurti Ritz Car on 11-Dec-2012.
                      Past 4-5 day i m facing starting problem in the car. When ever i turned off engine at REDLIGHT after multiple efforts it failed to start. I have to let the car for 5-10 mins den it got start. Car Number is DL9C AD 3017.

                      I am failed to understand the reason of such starting problem. If feel so embarrassing when your brand new car failed to start in the middle of the road while other people honking their horns at your back.

                      Maruti — problems in car

                      Dear Sir,

                      I purchased Wagon R VXI car Registration No. HR 26 AN 2241 from Apra Auto, Authorised Dealer on 24th September, 2009. After some time in April 2008 immediately on the next day of Service, all of a sudden, pedal break failed while I sas driving the car putting my life at the risk. On making complaint, Apra Auto carried out Hofmann Safelane break test and said that every thing is ok. Again in July 2008 same thing happened i.e. failure of pedal break, I immediately called Apra Auto. They took my vehicle to their workshop and replaced some parts like Break Shoes, Valve assembly etc. Now the vehicle has developed another problem that is pick up problem and as per dealer Clich plates need to be replaced.

                      I am not able to under stand how in a branded new vehicle is developing problems one after another. I purchased this vehicle because of Suzuki Brand but my experience is totally different. This is a defective vehicle. Since beginning there are problem with the vehicle.We were loyal customers to Maruti/Suzuki but these incidents have shaken my faith in the Suzuki. Further these incidents clearly show that the vehicle is defective. Not only manufacturer but dealer also has played a fraud with me by selling a defective product for the price of new product.

                      Suzuki — Starting problems

                      If you are thinking of buying Suzuki Access125, please think twice, thrice.. or if you take my advice..do not purchase it.
                      It has serious starting problem...battery problem. Even the dealers and service centers can't help much. I have been suffering for a year, and regretting on my decision to opt this over Honda Activa.
                      Even after reading this post, if you are willing to go for Access125... please buy mine..at heavily discounted price ... looking at its positive aspect, there isn't much other problem except starting.
                      Oh God... why did I choose Access125 ... why can't I have its production stopped .. :((

                      I was very happy after purchaging maruti wagon R as felt that there is no problem with maruti services and other things., but what I feel now is that my dicission was wrong because I was to purchage BEAT (CHEVEROLE CAR).
                      I think till now u must have under stood the things what I mean.

                      first of all let me confirm u that what problem I am facing.

                      1. I carried ou Ist servicing on 17 Jan 11 from Pasco service centre itself and felt and found that there were no proper servicing done as per mannual given only farmalities were done and checking of clutch, gearbox, Engine condition and othere important issues are not being done at service centre and found that due to said reason clucth was very tight and after 1 month its plate and disk gone unserviceable. It is known that due to humon erron also it is possible to damage the clutch but for ur information I am driving car since 10 Years and there were no issues like that.

                      2. I wass sttuck up on the road on 26 Feb 11 at 1200 hrs (after noon)due to clutch failure and asked for help at Pasco show room, Pasco service centre and other place but all my effort went into the vein. At 1645 hrs I called the crane, took the car at serice centre at Safdarjang ( Engineer service station). they also refused to rectify the fault on same day. How ever they told me to rectify the same on 28 Feb. I went there at 1840 hrson 28 Feb 11 and found very very poor knowledge of mechanic and they were opening and tightening(servicing) the clutch/gear in the dark.I advised them to take the car into the light .
                      How ever after some time they told that the parts (cluch platt and pressor roller) are not suitable and asked me contact on 1 mar 10. these fault are due to manufacturer fault and Ist service done on 17 Jan 11 at Pasco service centre. I may be wrong as per u. u can say that I am not using proper cluch, agreed but so early changing of clutch plate in new Wagon R car is not permissible.

                      You are requested to look into the matter with Engineer service station and Pasco service centre for proper fuctioning and change the item under warranty. Still I am waiting for my vehicle to be repaired. please do the need full for the fault and item under warranty and instruct the service centre to change the spare under warranty and of genuine items. I may ask for replacement of car itself if this type of recurring complaints comes again and again.

                      Please replly and do the need full immediately by mail and phone.

                        Good day to you. I am JOHNY PAUL from Alappuzha, I have
                        purchased a used vehicle (Regn No: KL 46 A 5995, Category: GR, Model:
                        SX4 ZXI, chassis No: 128383, Engine No: 1330859, Delivery date:
                        24/08/12, Certificate No: A[protected] from popular vehicles and
                        services ltd Trissur. Sales Person was Mr.Gladson.

                        When I saw the vehicle, I like the vehicle and had a test
                        drive as well. After that I realised there is problem with Shock
                        Absorbers (that makes the vehicle a jumpy feel all time).vibration and
                        jerking sound while clutch release, Steering and gear liver tight,
                        power window jam. I informed them all these things and they agreed
                        also. So I purchased the vehicle on condition that they will clear all
                        these kinds of complaints with in one week. There is some delay in
                        getting some parts from somewhere else, that’s why they told the delay
                        of one week time. I agreed to their conditions and I took the delivery
                        on24/08/12.

                        In spite of several calls and reminders after one month when
                        I called, they told me to come with the vehicle. They kept the
                        vehicles 20 days in the yard. One day they informed that they are
                        facing some problem in availability of some parts. I took my vehicle
                        back without doing anything as they promised.

                        Again after waiting a long period, got a call from them and I
                        have gone with the vehicle. Again they kept my vehicle in the yards
                        for another one month. I was fed up by this time and contacted
                        Mrs.Goldy, true Value Manager and she arranged the service in three
                        days. They have cleared only problem with the power window. Rest of
                        the problems is still with my vehicle.

                        SHALL I ASK SOME QUESTIONS TO MARUTI TRUE VALE??? THIS IS THE
                        WAY HOW YOU TREAT YOUR PREMIUM CUSTOMER????WHERE SHOULD I GO WITH THIS
                        VEHICLE TO SOLVE MY PROBLEM???TO WHOM SHOULD I CONTACT????

                          battery problem

                          And one was not .The day I have taken this bike after 6 months I am facing this problem ,2-3 time my bike was taken to workshop only the reason was bike is not getting ON.                           I have maruti suzuki swift dezire car whose regn no is PB 22 E 7474 but 4m last 3 months i m suffering power steering problem continuously i told many times to the dealer of maruti suzuki tara automobiles ,abohar bt dey didnt respond me back . First dey said engineer will come dis day he will check and then no reply. Den one day dey said your car tyre is big change them its not our fault but i didnt change the tyre till the date i have bought the car.all the tym dey are trying to get off 4m dis matter by saying irresponsible answers.so its request to solve it quickly.

                            I am really really harassed by the Maruti Dealer COMPETENT AUTOMOBILES having thier office at 21, Shivaji Marg, New Delhi, Delhi. Person dealing with me is Arvind (I guess from their CP Branch). I bought a brand new RITZ and exchanged old Santro Car. The Santro was handed over to them in the month of April 2012.

                            Recently we got a challan and then, we got to know that the vehicle was not transfered. Since then we are chasing the parties. But the vehicle still is in our name.
