I have purchased a car on 03.04.22 but after completing almost 4 months RC transfer not completed yet. Every time I called customer service they are saying they are doing their best but I am worried about it so requesting you to please look into this.

    I have already sold 3 cars on cars24 but the never ending spam calls have changed my mind to sell a car again. I’m a nightshift worker who sleeps in the day and these cars24 people think that’s the right time to call? Do you guys have no courtesy for humanity. If it’s not resolved i will be fliling a case in court and suing. The lawyer has already drafted notice in high court.

      Hi Team,

      This is Raviteja Jakkani, I am a sad customer of CARS24. I am from a middle class family for whom car is a 'BIG DREAM'. After seeing advertisements and promises CARS24 doing nowadays. I spent my hard earned money around 6.4L to buy a car from CARS24. With big hopes I got my car on 3rd May, 2022, that day changed my entire life from cherishing movements to sadden, stressful, financially loss state.

      Here is my story for more background.

      Sad Story # 1: AC Was not working

      With a big smile on face we got our call on 3rd May 2022. I never thought that would be last smile on my face. The sad story starts from exactly 25th day from the delivery day. My family and I noticed that on 1st June, 2022. A/C not working at all. Hence raised a warranty request immediately. After couple of follow ups nobody responded and no one tries to rectify the issue from CARS24.

      Finally I have to visit Honda Service center on 16th June to sort out the issue with AC. They noticed engine oil & Coolant is not at correct level. I have asked them to do 30K KM Service where I have to spend around 7.9K rupees. This is just one month after delivery from CARS24. where team promised it was serviced and good for next 10K KM. Which is not the case. And I had took Honda RSA as well. as CARS24 RSA doesn't responded to me.

      Sad Story # 2: Unable to open car locking system with Remote key and Mechanical key (Both)

      Meanwhile the AC issue, my entire car locking system has failed, I was not able to unlock car with remote and Mechanical key

      Finally after multiple follow ups, my car was picked up for service on 11th June. The story starts here. I haven't got any update from the service team until I follow up about my car and issue. There were always templated replies and stating we will get back to you in 24 to 48 hours.

      On 15th June (It's already been 4 days since service team picked my car), there is no status/assurance that, above-mentioned issues will be resolved. I got a reply stating we will do the below things to your car and deliver on 18th June(7 days after pick up)

      • Dry Cleaning
      • Washing
      • Blow meter clean up

      A person called me on 15th June saying, We will not be able to solve the locking issue and we just cleaned the AC blower and delivered the car on 15t June, 2022.

      Which is terrible, then I had to take my car to Honda Authorized service to sort out A/C and Car Locking issue.

      Why does it took 4 days to keep the car in the garage? Why didn't no one mentioned about locking issue will not be solved as per warranty norms? Why is it only mentioned while delivering the vehicle? What I really don't understand is, why did my car stay in the garage for 5 days(from 11th June to 15th June) if they were not able to solve the problem?

      I have to visit again Honda service center on 24th June to sort out central locking issue on . I had spent again around 6.5K rupees.

      Sad Story #3: Car was not starting due to Battery issue

      On 9th July, My family went a on short weekend trip to Thamini ghat, all of sudden car has stopped middle of the road and It was not starting at all. I had to take RSA support to tow the car from Thamini Ghat to my home

      And next day, I had to call Honda RSA, they helped out to start the car, I had to change the battery.

      I had spent around 11.5K rupees for Towing and 4.2K rupees for battery change.

      Sad Story #4: Engine check light on

      My family went on a quick weekend trip on 23rd July. While they were coming back home they noticed a 'check light' on the cluster. I immediately called my Honda service manager about the same. He asked me not to drive the car much and try to come to the service center ASAP as this might cause issues.

      Immediately, on the next day we took the car to the service center, after diagnosis. we have got 'P420' error, which is related to 'Faulty Catalytic converter'. When the showroom team tried to check the same they noticed the part is all together missing. I am attaching pictures of Check light, part missing, error code here.

      The estimation for fix and part cost coming around 1.2L. Which a bomb.

      I have raised a warranty request/repair request on 25th July. But I haven't got any response yet. CARS24 Customer care not bothered to answer or attend.

      My request and suggestion, please do not let customers suffer who have trust in you. customers are bread and butter for CARS24. I paid for the car, I am spending time, money and mental peace to solve issues now. This is not at all expected and no customer centric company does too.

      CARS24 did all false promises and no response, no actions. I have spent around 35K on top in just 2.5 Months. All the above just happened in just 2 months and 20 days span.

      I have attached all bill and proofs here for reference.

      Additionally I spent on car after Purchase:

      1. Car Service + RSA : 9, 900
      2. Key Locking system: 6, 700
      3. Car Towing: 11, 500
      4. Car Battery: 4, 200
      5. Car Health check: 2, 000

      CARS24 Ticket reference Numbers : 650188, 602885

      I request, Please sort the issues with my car with below two options.

      1. I will do the repair in Honda service center, please provide me estimated money upfront.
      2. CARS24 need to sort all the issue with car and provide me confirmation about the fix and replacement. That should happen as under my observation.

        I had sold my car at your branch in Pune on 14th July 2018 with appointment id [protected].
        17th May Police from Indore visited my house and said that there is a case registered for accident against my name as car has met with an accident in Indore.
        I contacted Cars24 customer care immediately and they informed me that i am covered under the Insurance and they will take care of the case and i will not have to worry about anything. It has been 2 months since i am following up with them to get this matter sorted every time when i contact them they say that don't worry we will take care of the issue and they don't do anything.
        Police officials are threatening me and saying that they will arrest me and take actions against me since the car is in still in my name. As a customer if i sold the car through them and they assured that they will take care of everything still i am going through all this stress and threatening.
        I want them to resolve this matter as i am going in depression due this police have even issued notice against me that if i dont get this matter sorted by 01st August 2022 they will issue warrant against me. I am attching the email communication and documents that i have from Cars24

            I sold my Skoda yeti to cars 24 on 23 May 22
            Their agreement with me stipulates that they will bear the liability for any traffic fines and any other offences till such time the vehicle is sold and transferred to a third party
            I revived proof of such transfer on 2 July
            I received a traffic fine violation challan and a link Adalat notice dated 29 June for Rs 2000/-
            Considering the urgency I paid the same and sent the details to Cars 24 for reimbursement.
            Till date they have evaded the issue and I would like some help in bringing them to book

                I sold my car to cars24 on 13th April 2022 in Kolkata. They assured me the RC transfer is hassle free process and I may not need to visit RTO at all. If at all I need to visit it will be in Kolkata for the same. They withheld 10000 gor after RC Transfer. I also signed all relevant RTO forms and provided all the valid documentation. Now out of the blue they left me a message to contact them about RTO transfer. After a lot of back and forth calls finally someone said to goto Asansol RTO for transfer or else my 10, 000 hold amount is forfeit.

                This is unscrupulous behaviour. If they told me earlier, I would have sold my car elsewhere.

                  I had sold an XUV 500 with reg number JH01BQ9712. The cars sold in Delhi. Party peshi amount of Rs 10000/- and traffic challan deposit of Rs 4000/- was withheld. The traffic challan payment of Rs 4000/- was withheld even after the challan was cleared through e-courts by me.
                  The agent who dealing with me, Abhay, had promised that party peshi happens through video calling (ever since covid) and I do not need to travel. Suddenly on 20 Jun22 I receive a call to travel to Ranchi. I refused to travel. Why would I spend 20K for 10K refund and I argued about the commitment made by the agent. In two minutes time there was an SMS that I have forfeited the party peshi amount.
                  Today 20 Jul I received a call stating that vehicle is being transferred in Ranchi RTO and I would receive a call towards this transfer. If I receive a call from RTO I would state that I have not received payment in full.

                      I have sold my car (MH14CC7634) dated 17/04/2022 at Dehradun office of Cars24. During the selling process staff was cooperative but after selling my car to cars 24, whenever I am enquiring on the transfer status, there is no response. In-fact they can call me for any support needed from my side. The overall experience of Cars24 is not very good since beginning of proposal.
                      There is no as such single point of contact for updation of your vehicle after sale to cars24. While multiple people will contact you but when you need any update they will simply ask to contact other deptt.
                      With this intent of response from Cars 24, I am logging a complaint to consumer forum for solution.

                          This is you to inform that, I purchased Volkswagen polo KA02MJ7055 on[protected], but the insurance policy has expired before I purchased it, so I requested Mr Rajeev who was taking care of this process for me, but he was not able to fulfill my request, so again I only purchased compressive b to b insurance on acko, again I tried to contact Mr Rajeev through chat so he promised that it is going to reimbursement, but he could n t make it out, now he is giving very poor response only because of he is not working in cars 24, I had issues with electric and clutch plate also but he was u stable to fulfill my issues, I am going low by this response.

                          i had a conversation with cars24 team they took so many days to replay back and finally they are telling me to they can t make it done due to late date complaint, till 18 months i was having conversation with Rajeev sale executive.

                          I am requesting you to please do reimbursement of my car insurance and do the needful as soon as possible.

                            No call regarding valuation of car after inspection

                            This is in reference to the inspection of my maruti suzuki wagonr. The person came and checked the car and thereafter I have not received any call regarding price which they are providing. I have even tried to call them many times but everytime when the call is forwarded no one receives it....

                            My experience regarding selling my car was horrible and the process was fully autocratic and a hoax. I was given a quote of Rs 1, 10, 000 for my 2012 Ford Figo and after multiple calls regarding fixing the deal at the price I was provided a tentative date of pick up of my car. One day prior to the pick up the service representative communicated that he was unable to freeze the deal in their system since he was on weekly off. On the scheduled day of the pick up they reduced the price and said that it the best deal they could offer. Rude staff and lies and treachery all along should be the motto of this company. Instead of cars24 they should name the company cars420. Will sell it to anyone but this dishonest set of people. An ordeal i will remember.

                              Now i have facing issue with bike not started, vibrate front wheels .

                                I was informed that 10, 000 rs can be refunded back to me and there is no issue by Mr Faraz from Cars 24([protected]). There will not be any requirements for physical visit at Party peshi. Now I am in Germany for work and will not be able to fly to India. Also I am not able to call on toll free number of coustomer care.

                                I got the message that10k rupees has been forefit. Now what is the issue why is forefit being done?
                                Please find the documents attached for more clarity of deal and party peshi will be handled was told by Mr. Faraz, this can be asked from him.

                                This is not OK that after comitment we are turning back.
                                Please process the refund as soon as possible.

                                  I sold my car VW to Cars 24 on 30/06/21 An amount of Rs.10000/-was held back, to be released after RTP Peshi which was to be held at siliguri according to cars 24 on 18th oct 2021, i got a call on 17th to land in silliguri ( WEST BENGAL)from maharashtra and due to covid i refused the same AND WAS TOLD WILL BE GIVEN 2 MORE ATTMEPTS IN FUTURE FOR THE SAME

                                    [protected] Appointment ID, party peshi amount not released till now.

                                    Complained in toll free number for 2times. No such response.

                                    We have went to the RTO and physically signed the necessary documents and RC Transfer is done on 22nd Jun 2022. We were supposed to wait for max 7 working days. Today is the 15th day still the hold back amount of Rs 10, 000 is not credited
