Hi,
I have sold my car in January, My RC is not yet transferred. Whenever I call customer care people are saying we are trying our best to sell the vehicle. I am really worried about this, and cars24 people are not doing anything to resolve this. And the complaints are close with out resolving it.

    A deal was finalised for selling my old Hyundai i 10 car @Rs. 124000
    On the basis of finalisation of deal i got my car loan closed from my own funds. Cars 24 people also taken all the car ownership transfer related papers and affidavits in original duly signed by me. All the papers were collected by their patna office.
    However, the deal was cancelled on flimsy grounds. Now, cars 24 people are bit returning my originally signed papers. They may sell my car by forgery. Cars 24 will have to pay me a compensation for getting my car loan closed and then cancelling the deal.

      I sold my car Maruti Ritz (KA04ML0714), to CARS 24 on 2nd September 2021 (2/9/2021). Now almost one year over but the vehicle is still in my name. I have contacted them multiple times on their Phone/Email and requested a quick resolution to my complaint. Still, unfortunately, no one from their customer care actively helped except by offering me a certificate. How can a person have multiple cars in his name? It has been told the car will be transferred in a maximum of 4 months (120 days) however, after 11 months or more than 330 days, the vehicle is still in my name, and ownership status progress shows pending. I am troubled by the issue and Looking forward to a quick resolution.

        Sold the car on April 16th.

        RC not transferred yet.

        Customer care keeps promising it will be done.

        Not sure how to resolve this. Friends suggest to raise a police complaint or reach a lawyer so i dont get into issues later. So disappointed with the way the whole thing is going

        And worst case, the customer care executive cut the phone abrubtly twice - which makes me even more nervous. What if the guy who has the car gets into some illegal activity?

        I don't have time to deal with such issues. And asking this to the agent on line is not helpful at all. They keep saying customer protection policy - which will not help if some illegal actions happen and have to goto court.

            Our deal started with Cars 24 through Executive Mukesh Rawat for selling of Duster Car & this deal got finalized on 2nd August'22 at Rs. 1, 85, 000/- and we were informed that Rs. 1K will be sending as Token Money and remaining amount will transfer after submission of LFC.
            We were also informed that if any delay was done from our side then Rs. 500/- per day penalty will be charged from us.
            As per discussion, we have submitted the LFC on 4th August 2022 and the sale letter was signed on 6th August 2022 but the amount was not transferred to us.
            We were informed that as your EMI date is due, so you pay the EMI & re-sent us LFC; accordingly we have re-share the LFC with the Executive.
            Still payment against the sale of the car was not received till 22 Aug, 22.
            Despite having so many follow-ups with the Executive, they refused to deal & rudely behave with us. Now they are saying "hum toh ab 1.50L ki deal karenge; nahi leni toh khud cancel kardo". Even his Senior Ms. Mansi also said the same thing "hum kya karein deal cancel kardo, hum jis par deal final hui thi woh amount nahi denge".
            If the same was not resolved, then We have to Legal action against Car 24 & its executive.

                  Cars24 is not transferring RC

                  I purchased a vehicle on 3rd July 2022 and was promised by the Agent that RC transfer will be a smooth process and should be done within 2 weeks, I paid an amount of 6, 96000 on the same day and purchased a Honda Jazz 2017 year car.
                  Its been close to 2 months and the RC hasnt been transferred, they even didnt give me any insurance papers and i am not able to drive the car with peace of mind.
                  Later i had asked for a soft copy...

                  I had purchased the XUV300 car from car24, as per cars24 commitment RC transfer within 75 working days but already 6 month gone and i have not received my RC even if I want to repair my Car on zero depth insurance but can't able to do just because of RC is not my name and my zero depth insurance amount is going totally waste. So please help me.
                  Car24 team always give me excuse no body provide me right answer.

                    I bought the car from cars 24 in March and I was outstation in June and July month. My car was used by my wife and there was diesel leakage in the car. The car was under warranty as km was just 7000 and within 6 months. My wife called the service team but no one called her back
                    I came back and raised a request 14 August for this issue and got it escalated. now the company is telling me it's outside warranty as the km is more than 7500. I provided them the proof of my wife calling them in June but they are not even responding.

                      Purchased a car from Cars24 ok the date of delivery found that the car is having major problems from there itself sent to repair.

                      It's been 6th day and no one is responsible to take the concern seriously.

                      No update on progress and mentally pressurised as i have take it from loan

                        I sold my car(eco sports) last week and handover all the documents. I was informed that you are holding 29.5k and will get credit once you recieve NOC and other documents. Its been 4days and I haven't received my amount yet and also your representative Mrs.Ashwini is not even answering my call and not responding to my messages. Looks like its a fraud as after handing over my car, everyone from cars24 stopped answering my calls and I have no information on my pending amount.

                        This is the email(copied below) I received before handing over my car to cars24 driver. And driver informed me that he handed over all the documents at the cars24 yard and since that te, noone is picking my call and providing update. After following up after multiple times i am getting response"you will get an update eod"

                        "Sorry there is a mistake in held back there will be a held back of 29, 500/- its a system generated also please hand over all the original documents which the driver once we check we can realise the amount ASAP"

                            I was sold my Maruti Alto Car by Car 24 on 12th May at Vapi Gujrat.
                            Car was registered at Bhopal M.P & at the Time of Payment company had hold my dues 10000/- will be release after RTO Transfer by Byer but now he said your present is required at Bhopal, MP which is not possible to me,
                            It was cleared at the time of selling Car 24 representative told me that after RC transfer you should be available at local Silvassa or Vapi...

                            Sale of car and loan closure

                            I had sold my car on 08th and handed over on which a partial payment was made by cars 24 after which my loan was suppose to be closed by 2 days.and today is 12th my loan is still not closed and each day interest is getting added.
                            I don't get proper response fromrm and cars 24 team and my loan is still open this is horrible service.
                            I want my LFC amount to be paid to me so that atleast i can close the loan or else please give...

                            Today I booked inspection for my indica vista car and they have provided a bogus report, saying duplicate keys were not available, RC was faded, engine was noisy etc etc, so many points. It's just only to reduce the selling price and I have not bargained with the technician who came for inspection, because he clearly indicated favour from my side to him.

                              Dear sir
                              I sold my car to cars24 on April 27, 2022, however, even after 90 days the rc is yet to be transferred.

                              While the cars24 clearly mention that the liability of the vehicle is transferred to them, to the owner, unless the rc is transferred it remains a burden.

                              I have been following with their call centre as there is no other channel through which can be reached.

                              However, the response is always cryptic that the complaint has been forwarded to concerned division.

                              My only reason to go for cars24 was to have a hassle free paper work even though the price quoted by them was very low. However, it has turned out to be a great disappointment.
                              Kindly help me in resolving this issue.

                                As per agreement with car 24, I drove my self to your yard, Kannur, Kerala at 1.30 pm. I am waiting here alone last 4.5 hours (6:10 pm now). Till now I didn't get my payment, yet not paid my loan amount( loan closure amount) and not contacted customer service manager. Please do necessary action immediately, until I will wait here..
