We have purchased a car from cars24.com on 21-Nov-2020 and got delivered on 23-Nov-2020 for a price of 3, 10, 000 Rs/-. During the time of purchase we were promised that the car's kilometer reading (58, 469 kms) is genuine and has not been involved in any major accidents by the cars24 relationship manager. We were not allowed to take the car from their yard or even get it inspected.

Today(25-Nov-2020) when we visited the car's authorized service center, they informed us that the car sold to us was previously used for taxi purposes and the last service was done at 1, 60, 000 kms in 2018. When informed the same to the cars24 relationship manager, he is only apologizing and not taking any action.

This is complete cheating from cars24 and has taken full advantage of buyers trust by providing fake information.

Myself Sermalingam, I have purchased a second hand car (TN14E0056) through Cars24 in Bangalore. I have paid full amount to the previous owner and paid RC transfer fees to Cars24 and submitted original RC along with supporting documents for RC transfer on 9 FEB 2020. Its been more than 9 months already and there is no update regarding the service. I have been constantly checking with Cars24 for the same but not giving any update. Everywhere they are promoting with Hassle free documentation but Cars24 making its very worsen.

Can you please look into this and help to get either original documents which I have submitted at time of payment or status of RC transfer as its been pending for very long time.

I sold my Volkswagen Jetta through Card 35 and completed the entire paperwork.
Howerver, I received s call from an individual who confirmed that he bought my car from Cars24 and had an accident claim and wanted to pursue it on my insurance. While it was mde clear to Cars24 in the beginning that insurance had not been transferred as part of the deal. The hapeless buyer is constantly calling me and Cars24 is not taking any responsibility of helping him out. This is completely shocking and unfortunate.

I had booked an appointment for home inspection and had paid for the same. Its been 4 days till now no one has really come for inspection and whenever I contact the customer support they r asking for rescheduling the appointment but not giving any solid answer. Very pathetic and irresponsive service. If you are unable to manage the customers should have some courtsey to inform about the unavailability.

I have purchased a car from cars 24 with 6 month warranty service. I have applied for Warrenty and they agreed to give Warrenty for my car service. The Warrenty team took my car to the service center and removed all engine parts and now saying it doesn't comes under warranty. If it doesn't comes under warranty then why they agreed and removed my engine parts and who is responsible for me. Now no one is taking responsibility to reassemble the engine part's. The person who guided me for Warrenty now saying he is not in cars 24.
No one in cars 24 is not responding my call. Now who is responsible and I am cheated by cars 24.

I was here on cars24 from last 1 month to purchase a used car. Mr Raju Pandey from Cars24 assigned to me for my deal. I found a car which is UP70 number from cars24 application. I asked to Raju that this car RTO is in Allahabad UP and i have to transfer it in Bulandshahar UP. So will it be possible, cars24 dealer said to me that dont worry, we are here for you and will do all RC transfer documentation for you in whole UP with a 4500/- Rs charge fees. So i call a mechanic for Rs 1050/- on my behalf for car inspection at cars owner's residence in Ghaziabad. And i also came from my office greater noida to Ghaziabad by OLA cab of Rs 391/-. After car inspection i was satisfied and pay 1050/- rs to mechanic. Now i asked to cars24 dealer Raju Pandey for further process. He did a phone call to someone in cars24 and after that said to me that this is UP 70 number, which is of Allahabad and sorrry sir we do not have setup in Allahabad. So we cant provide you the RC transfer paper and all. At that time i was completely shocked. That was like a nightmare for me. I asked him, why you call me here, why you did not tell me earlier about this. And i asked him for give back my money, which i gave to mechanic and my OLA coveyance. Which approx Rs 1500/-. He denied and say sorry again and again. And i feel cheated myself. I again pay Rs 255/- to OLA bike to return to my office in greater Noida and also my half day salary also cutted. Now i was feeling myself the biggest cheated by cars24. In total i expend 1696/- rs excluding my half day salary. And nothing in my hand without frustration. For me Cars24 is a big cheater and there are number of fools. I dont know why they people showing that car on their application. When they can not do owner transfer documentation. And today 24 nov 2020, still that car is on their application. They did not remove that. All are fools there.

I have purchased a car from cars24 ahmedabad and i was icommited to transfer to RC within 10-15 days. Where as still they have not even initiated the process. And the Car24 employee not even answering me well for the same.

I have Sold a car with cars24, MAHINDRA SCORPIO CAR ON 21/6/2019, Even after more than 17 months the RC is yet to be transferred. While the cars24 clearly mention that the liability of the vehicle is transferred to them. despite many reminders and followups, vehicle RC is not transferred..

However for the owner, unless the RC is transferred it remains a burden.

My only reason to go for cars24 was to have a hassle free paper work. However, it has turned out to be a great disappointment.

Kindly help me in resolving this issue.

i keep getting non stop calls from Cars24 to check if I have an old car to sell. nearly every other day. sometimes thrice a day. I have politely requested them, I have sternly warned them, and I have threatened to go legal. I've also tweeted to Cars24 and they said it won't happen again. After that they've stopped replying. but the calls don't stop. its harassment.
I understand that this may not be the right forum. but I tweeted to DoT & TRAI also but they don't seem to care. I don't know what to do to stop this madness from Cars24.

I bought a car from CARS 24 and the coordinator name was Akash. after 6 months on followup, i came to know that the documents have not submitted till date due to their internal communication gap. Akash left the organisation by taking 10000 extra amount from me. Now i have already made a payment of 8.5 lacs and i have no document to show.

the deal was they will give me the RC and Insurance on my name and now they are not agreeing to their commitments.

I had asked for an home inspection for my car from cars24. The concerned person and he checked the car. My car was in a very good condition and tyres and everything were changed few months back . But yet the person who hadcome for inspection wrote that the condition of the tyre was bad whn i saw the report. Also i had everything available with us starting from duplicate keys, insurance copy, original invoice etc. Still the person mentioned as nothing available and send me a valuation where everything isnot available . I asked the concerned rm . Mr abrar malim who connected with me to make the required changes and send me the revised valuation report. But he bluntly denied and said thats not his job. What kind of service. There are many hidden charges applicable in cars 24 service. Mr . Abrar from worli office made me wait for 3 days saying he will get an approval and get done with the valuation. But he never came back. I dont know how come such big cricketers endorse a fraud company. One of the most bogus company i have come across

My appointment id with cars 24 is [protected], i sold my car ( KA54 M 0127) to cars 24 on 22/07/2020, they kept rs.10000 as held back amount and i was said that i will get the amount once the car is sold to a buyer and i need to come over for party peshi or within 120 days whichever is earlier.
I could not attend the parti peshi as I was out of state and could not travel due to COVID restrictions.
On 29.10.2020, I received and email saying that vehicle ownership is successfully transferred by RTO. The same thing I cross verified in the VAHAN Site and found that ownership is transferred to new owner.

Subsequently I followed up for the hold back amount of Rs 10, 000, ( Ticket no: 362515 also raised) but they are not willing to give my money back
They are blaming that hold back amount is forfeited as party peshi was not done.
But ownership is successfully transferred by RTO as evident from the VAHAN Site.
Kindly help me to get my hard-earned money of Rs 10, 000 back.

I have been promised a amount Deal confirmation ||[protected]|| for 6.64 lak after the service charge deduction and I got a token of rs 1000 as well.. we finished the documentation and handed over the car...waited for 3 hrs and after so much wait and Hassel we were informed the deal is cancelled ... Trusting Cars24 I cancelled all my other options and now it's a very bad condition... No one is answering my calls as well..

On 27.09.2020 I Rafiq Ahmad Akhoon from jammu and Kashmir have purchased the car namely omni van bearing registration number CH01BH 5502 and company had assured me that we will sent your NOC within the duration of one month also company had take the charges of NOC and kept original RC under supervision. Now I can't run my car for any work after one month I approached sales agent of the said company unfortunately he misbehaves with me. I sold my car in may 2019. The rc transfer has not happened till now even after 18 months. As per them the transfer is in progress and it will take another 90 working days.
The whole idea of selling my car through cars24 was the rc transfer would be taken care by them. And even after 18 months, the reply I get is that my car's rc transfer is in progress and they need 90 working days to resolve the issue.

Yesterday I got a call from Cars24 from number at 5:53pm but couldn’t pick it up.I called back the number at 7:06pm but no one responded.Today morning I called again in the same number.The person who picked the called started questioning me why I hadn't picked the call yesterday and behaved in an indecent manner.When I replied to behave properly he shouted at me and used abusive language.The person is unprofessional and do not deserve to work in service sector

I had purchased a Maruti Suzuki Swift VXI car numbered CH 03 Z 6819 through your Relationship Manager Sh. Arun Singh, from Cars 24 yard office in Big Bazar, Zirakpur on 1.11.2020, I had paid the requisite fee of Cars 24 that is Rs 8260/- paid by us on 30.10.2020.
But the information he had given to us is totally wrong and incorrect regarding the Condition of car and Warrenty of Cars 24 for engine and gearbox.
He told us to send us an email to caredirect for Warrenty, which gives assurance to the purchaser for 7500kms of car running smoothly for within 6 months period.
But the reply of email is totally different from the promise he made regarding assurance about the vehicle as they are saying that this car had travelled 150 000 kms already so there will be no warrenty for this according to their policy but on the day we purchased he know very well. How much tge car had driven I.e.157873kms already on date of making full payment for car on 1st November.

So, I request you kindly give us warrenty card for 6 months which had been told us by your Relationship Manager else I have to file to pursue a suit against you in Court.

Hi Guys,

Purchasing an automobile is a major investment, which one should not take lightly. This requires extensive research about every aspect before signing a sales contract. Used cars require a considerable amount of due diligence into the condition of the vehicle, documents, and terms of sale.

This writing is about my search for buying a used car, and how the whole situation ends up in buying a car with misleading documents.

I had bought the Hyundai Verna (petrol) 2013 model from one of the leading used cars dealers, Cars24 on 19th Oct’20. Things were smooth but tiring as well because of all the paperwork and other formalities.

The insurance documents came with the other documents of the car and as per the document, the expiry date for the same is Jul’21. I had made all the payment including the insurance amount and everything was okay.

After a couple of days, the RC got transferred in my name, so I thought o[censored]pdating the existing insurance details with the insurance company. On 7th Nov, I called the insurance company and from there I came to know that Mr Vikas Lal (Owner of the car) has cancelled the insurance on 27th Oct’20. This came as a shocker to me as to how could one possibly cancel the insurance and that too without even intimating the company authorities. However, the status was active on the website of the insurance company but the call with the insurance executive made it very clear that there is no active insurance.

I contacted the agent Mr Bittu, who was involved in the whole process and told him the whole story. He told me that he had never heard of a situation like this. He called up the Cars24 authorities and they were clueless about the whole thing.

I have emailed the concerned authorities of Cars24 who were the part of the whole buying process but I haven't received any assistance from there end. Clearly, this kind of attitude shows that they are not good at building relationships and providing after-sale services to their customers. After the research, I thought that I might have landed up at the right place for buying a used car, but my first experience with Cars24 was really unpleasant.

They don't stand on their commitments.

Think TWICE before doing any business with Cars24.

I sold my car through cars24 and paid all the amount which is there but they did not tranfer the ownership title no response even after registered my complaint i will go to forum to fight against this and cheating of service.My car no AP09 BN 7101...better clear this as early as possible.
