Why is it taking so long to repay. Will go to consumer court if required . Pls do the needful

    I have tried bookina a hotel in Mumbai on 22/04/2022 the amount has been deducted from my bank through net banking but the trip id and the details haven't been issued, i have crossed checked witht the bank but
    the amount has been detucted on the name of clear trip mumbai .Can u please look into the issue and revert back to me asap as its an urgent booking.

      My hotel booking was full refundable booking and i cancelled the booking on March 1st week . till now the booking Trip Id:[protected] refund amount is not refunded back to my credit card. i try to call and email clear trip and call is not reachable and email is returning back. To day also i call my First abu dhabi bank they told me refund is processed form clear tirp side. how i can contact clear trip to ask my refund .

        Hotel booking no confirmation but payment deducted

        I had booked a hotel and my card was charged with the amount but I received no confirmation from cleartrip. I am trying to reach customer care but looks like there is no way of communicating without a trip id. I have even emailed to their customer care but no response. My money is completely blocked and I don't know how or when it is going to be resolved....

        I booked Air India flight on Cleartrip from Hyd to Goa for 3rd April. This flight got cancelled. Air India issued a letter saying I can get the money refunded by Cleartrip. However I am unable to get hold of anyone as they don't have a phone number and their online feedback system is hopeless as they have not responded. My trip ID is Trip ID[protected]

          Hi Sir,
          I am also facing similar issue. Did you issue resolved? Amount 7773 is deducted but no trip id details available. This is serious security issue at their end.

            I had booked a hotel through cleartrip. My biggest mistake was a that I paid before check-in. Order #[protected]
            The hotel is named as Dreams Apartment Powai, Mumbai. After the booking, it is normal to provide the address and phone number of the hotel. But it wasn’t provided.
            I contacted cleartrip and they didn’t even have the phone number of the designated hotel.
            Now comes the best part, I reach the hotel address, turns out the hotel has been unoperational for more than a year. I manage to get the contact number of the hotel through a security guard in that building. I call the manager and he says “Dreams apartment has been closed” and immediately disconnects my call, and blocks my number and didn’t receive calls from any another numbers.
            Now hassled as I had my luggage and due to scorching hot weather, I call the customer care service. They promise me that they will get back to me in 2 hours. This conversation happened on 12th april and they just have been making excuses for not refunding and asking me to wait for 24-72 hrs everytime I call them. This has to stop

              Following text reporduced fro the website of Cleartrip:
              "Fexifly
              Free Date change even when switching airlines. Pay Fare Difference, if any"

              I made a request for change of date from 23 Apr to 22 Apr.
              The fare difference was Rs 1902.00.
              I was asked to pay as per following breakup ( vide their email of Wed, 20 Apr, 16:54 ):

              Airline penalty =[protected] per passenger )

              Cleartrip Amendment fee= 800 (domestic travel ) (400 per passenger )

              Fare difference =[protected] per passenger)

              Snce eywer not honuring the condition of their own Flexifly committment I asked for a refund of Rs. 458.00. They refused through their email. Please see photo of their email attached by me.

              I request for e refund of 458.00 to resolve the issue

                  It's been 4 months since December 2020, I am unable to go for my vacation due to Cleartrip
                  Having booked my ticket with them, shortly after 2 weeks I received a message saying that my flight ticket has been cancelled.
                  Until now, I am unable to get my refund. I paid 3100 AED for my ticket with ID:[protected].
                  I am told recently that a fresh refund order has just been raised to the airline meaning my overall waiting time is now extended to 6 months.
                  I will never recommend them to anyone for flight booking.

                    Dear sir/madam,

                    I made a booking in 12.4.22. After selecting the date, I made an attempt to pay Rs 27, 500/- using my Debit Card. The bank sent OTP and the payment was successful and the equivalent Sgd 514.86 was deducted and put on hold from my account immediately.

                    At 12.4.22 12.35am I received the PNR with confirmation. 5 minutes later at 12.40am I received another email stating the payment was unsuccessful and the trip was cancelled.

                    Now my funds Sgd 514.86 is deducted from my account. Let me know when it will be credited back to my account. I need the funds to book another flight ticket.

                    I have used several times Cleartrip to make flight arrangements. This is the first time, my ticket was cancelled after the payment was made. I’m very disappointed with you service and a nightmare dealing with Cleartrip.

                    Kindly return the exact amount deducted from my debit card immediately.

                    Looking forward to earliest reply to proceed further.

                      We made a flight booking for our family ( 4 members) through Cleartrip for Mumbai-Delhi- Moscow Air India flight on 28th of January 2022
                      Ticket ID 1:[protected] members return ticket)
                      Ticket ID 2:[protected] member only one side ticket)
                      1. On 7th February, Air India rescheduled their flight of 4th May to 5th May
                      2. We get a call from cleartip, asking if we are ok with the reschedule to which we confirmed that we are fine with 1 day delay.
                      3. In April first week, cleartip customer care called us stating that all AirIndia flights to Russia may get suspended/ cancelled and your ticket is eligible for full refund.
                      a. Considering the risk, we confirmed for cancellation so that we can book ticket with another airlines, as we have to travel in the month of May.
                      b. Only upon promise by the customer care we confirmed for cancellation with full refund.
                      4. To our surprise we get message of refund with a huge deduction of charges to our ticket and a call from cleartrip finance team that your ticket cannot be fully refunded because you accepted a reschedule.
                      5. We have called multiple times (around 10 times explaining the whole story again and again) to cleartrip and escalated the issue and everytime we call they promise to investigate and come back.
                      6. Today Apr 10th we again got a call from cleartrip that our ticket cannot be fully refunded and you will need to speak to the airlines to which we spoke to the airlines and they confirmed that you should get a full refund and ask cleartrip to write to AirIndia sales team.

                      This is a clear case of how mismanaged cleartip process is and can cause so much hassle and frustration to the customers. We have been requesting them in detail about the issue and clear trip customer care and finance team is playing ping pong. Cleartrip should not harass genuine customers like this and investigate the case properly at their end and provide a good customer care experience.

                      Clear trip is spoiling their image by mishandling the cases like this at NO FAULT from customer side.
                      I request cleartrip to investigate this case properly and provide a prompt resolution to this.

                      After many many follow-ups and follow up with the airlines. we finally got the refund. The cleartrip process is not customer friendly, i am sure a lot of customers who cannot file a consumer complaint and publish their issue on social media do not get attention from Cleartip. In our case we knew from the beginning that it was not our fault and it was a mistake from Cleartrip. They should have paid us double to compensate the hassle they made us go through. But unfortunately in India i do not know if we have any such laws. Most importantly i would want cleartrip to strengthen their process in the interest of genuine customers and do not make them go through so much hassle and issues. A big thank you to Consumercomplaints platform and social media platforms who helped me get my money back.

                          I have made payment for 2 uae visit visas today and have received confirmation mail for the payment as well but my Cleartrip ID[protected] is not Valid on the site while trying to upload documents. Moreover it does not work on phone support as well.

                          Please respond as none of the support lines work as the trip id received is not valid.

                            I booked a flight from goa to dehradun for 3 people on 1/04/2022. When I booked it once, the amount was deducted but transaction failed. I was expecting a refund but there was nothing. I tried to book again but transaction failed again. So basically money was deducted twice from my account and neither did I get the ticket nor the refund. It's been 9 days now I haven't got the refund. I can't even track where my money is.

                              Had booked the flight with trip id[protected] from Srinagar to Delhi, and due to sudden rescheduling of flight without any verbal confirmation the flight got missed and when asked for No show the airline refunded amount of 4206 INR and these cleartrip guys refunded only 1682 INR to me.
                              What is this???

                                    I had booked one-way journey ticket on18/03/2022 for Trivandrum to Chennai through cleartrip.
                                    The ticket booking confirmation cam at 23.07 Hrs.
                                    At 23.32 Hrs there is one mor email from cleartrip indicating payment failed. The email also contained a link to check the refund status which also mentioned 3-12 working days to refund the amount which has been deducted. I had waited for the same and called up customer care wherein i got reply indicating the email at 23.32 was an error.

                                    I am attaching the reference for kind review. The sequence of events as per time line are as follows
                                    Booking ticket confirmation at 23.07 Hrs
                                    Payment Failed email at 23.32 Hrs.
                                    The link for payment refund status also mentioned 23.01 Hrs payment initiated and failed.
