Had booked the flight with trip id[protected] from Srinagar to Delhi, and due to sudden rescheduling of flight without any verbal confirmation the flight got missed and when asked for No show the airline refunded amount of 4206 INR and these cleartrip guys refunded only 1682 INR to me.
What is this???

    I SYED NAYEEM UR RAHAMAN Holding Indian Passport No : N9545679 Have Booked A Refundable Flight Ticket From Bahrain To Hyderabad Dated 30th April 2020 For Flight Noted : GF 276. Later I Due To Emergency In My Home I Cancelled The Flight Tickets But Didn't Received Any Refund Amount To Bank Account.
    I'm Enclosing The Proof Of Refundable Ticket Displayed Clearly While I Was Booking The Flight Tickets Through Cleartrip Mobile Application. If It Had Shown Non Refundable Or Partial Refundable At The Of Booking The Flight I Could Not Have Booked The Same Flight.
    Kindly Requesting You To Refund The Complete Amount To My Account.

        I had booked one-way journey ticket on18/03/2022 for Trivandrum to Chennai through cleartrip.
        The ticket booking confirmation cam at 23.07 Hrs.
        At 23.32 Hrs there is one mor email from cleartrip indicating payment failed. The email also contained a link to check the refund status which also mentioned 3-12 working days to refund the amount which has been deducted. I had waited for the same and called up customer care wherein i got reply indicating the email at 23.32 was an error.

        I am attaching the reference for kind review. The sequence of events as per time line are as follows
        Booking ticket confirmation at 23.07 Hrs
        Payment Failed email at 23.32 Hrs.
        The link for payment refund status also mentioned 23.01 Hrs payment initiated and failed.

            Hi,

            I have booked a hotel in Chennai and I made payment via hdfc net banking . The payment got debited but I could not see any bookings. I could not see any Trip I’d too . I am unable to contact support without trip I’d . Payment of 2910 made on 2/4/2022 .

                My wife and I booked a flight through Cleartrip. The flight was a refundable flight and as per the screenshots available with us this clearly shows a refundable flight as per cleartrip app. Now the customer care executives are saying that this is non refundable.

                One of cleartrip executive (Harshal Kokse) has also confirmed the facts stated by me, on an email that the said flight is showing as refundable on the app.

                In the last 9 days, and over 10-12 calls, all I have heard from Cleartrip customer care is that they are working on the issue and that the passenger is supposed to wait. Even after the relevant waiting period, the customer is again supposed to wait. However, after waiting for so many days, we would feel that now you might get a resolution, because we have provided all the evidence to prove your eligibility for refund.

                However, against common conception, we are only asked to wait again.

                One of their colleagues - Amit Kamble, mentioned that I should visit the Cleartrip office in Mumbai and mention the trip ID - and I can ask for a resolution there as well. I travelled to Vikhroli (Mumbai), to their supposed office to seek a resolution. But to my surprise, Cleartrip did not have an office there, just a co-working space, WITH NO EMPLOYEES. How can you misguide a customer like that without knowing ample facts?

                Yesterday, after yelling at about 3-4 executives, I was able to get the great Harshal Kokse back on line (who I thought would provide me with a solution), but again to my surprise, all he mentioned was that I am supposed to wait. After already making me wait for 72 hours (mind you he had committed for providing a solution in 48 hours), he has the audacity to ask me to wait for another 72 hours. Reason being "the tech team has not reverted".

                My only concern as a customer is that not only have I been duped on account of false representation on the cleartrip app, but also because o[censored]tter disregard for customer satisfaction as well as professionalism.

                Today it has been 9 days since I first lodged a complaint on account of my booking. However, as mentioned above, I have been asked to wait for another 3 days, making a total of 11 days. Mind you, all of this just to check 5 screenshots provided by me and tally it with the actual interface on the app, which will ultimately prove that what I am saying is true, and there is no actual way of denying the refund.

                I have still not been provided with an answer as to why the tech team has not reverted within the first 48 hours and after another extended timeline of 24 hours, post which another 72 hours are being asked of me.

                My humble and genuine request to you is that not only facilitate cleartrip to provide me with a full refund ASAP, but please facilitate to provide the same in my bank account, since due to the delay in processing at their end, I will have to pay my credit card bill and the refund will not come back to my bank account.

                      Hi,

                      My name is Preena Patel. I tried to book tickets from Ahmedabad to Gaya, for 5th April, 2022, IndiGo Airlines, IndiGo 6E-5011 and IndiGo 6E-6193. The amount of Rs 8, 302 was deducted from my bank account. I made the payment through my UPI id through GooglePay. But I got an email of the payment being failed. I’m attaching the screenshot for your reference. Please return my refund my money as soon as possible.

                        I have booked to and fro air ticket through cleartrip. till payment page everything was perfect. once i entered payment otp cleartrip page states "something went wrong and start from beginning". later i got an email from cleartrip stating payment failed and amount will refund in 3 to 14 working days. after this payment i don't have enough balance to book a ticked and i don't have time to wait till the period cleartrip is suggesting as my planned travel date is 1st April 2022. more pathetic is about the customer support, they don't have proper phone support or any other channel to listen my issue or offer a solution.

                        This website didn't provide any support. Some fraud call me from a different number pretending he is supporting me and asked to initiate 20000 through cashless withdrawl. i don't know how he got my number and details.

                          During the initial COVID-19 impact Flight was Cancelled by M/S Spice Jet and they sent me the confirmation that they will refund my entire booking amount. I have also got confirmation e-mail from Clear Trip saying that they will refund the amount. But no refund is received yet even after my several request and even after my complaint registration under this forum on 28th Feb 2022.

                              This is unfortunate that during quick booking twice same payment amount is applied on card and also the booking never happened stating failed payment!

                              how Can a payment be applied on card when payment failed ?

                              also why is it customer has to do disputes raising process for no fault of theirs but the merchant did all wrong -- in this case cleartrip

                              the screenshot also has been attached

                              12:30 pm ISTand 12:37 pm IST both are two distinct transactions I took and both have been charged to card but no service given by merchant

                                  I booked return tickets MUM-COK 15th-19th March'22. After travelling to COK, due to a medical emergency I could not travel back to MUM. I cancelled my ticket with cleartrip on 16th March '22(before 3 days of return journey). The customer care executive processed my return and told me that cancellation charges would be airline fee( Rs3000) + cleartrip fees and balance I would get refunded.
                                  After this, I received an email from Cleartrip (Air Fulfillment Refund & Cancellation Team's Shruti Ninave) that as per airline policy the cancellation is not possible in the return sector.
                                  To escalate this matter, I called Cleartrip Customer Care -
                                  1) Cleartrip app mentioned that my ticket is cancelled. But it was not done by airline.
                                  2) After escalation with Cleartip customer care executive, I talked to the airline via cleartrip CustomerCare executive. The airline clearly told me(I have the call recording) that there is NO SUCH POLICY. This means that cleartrip team misguided me and committed fraud by lying about airline policy.
                                  3) The airline also told me that cleartrip did not even ask about cancellation and only asked about cancellation charges.

                                  After this escalation call, they assured me that the cleartrip team will arrange a callback in 24 hours. I missed their call as they disconnected the call after 2 rings. After this, they sent me an email that airline agent did not take details on cancellation date and hence they can not give me a refund as the date has passed.

                                  This was the fault of cleartrip who-
                                  1) Committed FRAUD by lying about airline policy
                                  2) Not cancelling the ticket when their app showed me that it was cancelled

                                  Desirable Solution
                                  1) Exact refund that I should have been given should be credited to me . When I cancelled the ticket it was 3 days prior to departure, so as per airline policy mentioned on Cleartrip website cancellation charge is 3000 + cleartrip fee. Detailed breakup of the same should be given
                                  2) Apologie and acceptance about fraud claim on email from Shruti Ninave - Cleartrip Air Fulfillment Refund & Cancellation Team of Cleartrip

                                    I booked by tickets using flexifly insurance for 10th March departure, Delhi Goa and return Goa Delhi 13th March via trip ID[protected]

                                    I amended this ticket on 9th March, for 15th April Delhi Goa and Return 18th April. The debit was done from my account and I also got a booking confirmation online. Screenshot attached for reference.

                                    On 10th morning I called Customer Support, telling them I have not received the PNR. even though i was repeatedly promised call backs, none came and I had to continue to follow up.

                                    On 18th March, I am being informed that the amendment didn't go through and my amount of Rs 38000 is being refunded..

                                    The same flight is for Rs 121, 000 today. Pls see the attached screenshot.

                                    Why am I being punished for CLEARTRIP system issue?

                                    Moreover, I received NO information/ advise that my amended flight (screenshot attached) did not go through prior to today, even when I was calling everyday, requesting for PNR.

                                    I would like the same flight to be rebooked at the initial cost.

                                      I booked my flight ticket as of 29th February 2020 via the cleartrip website for a total payment of IN 62, 126.64/- Trip ID:[protected]. the flight was supposed to depart on and as of August 5th 2020, Kochi to New Delhi (Flight-Vistara UK 886), August 6th 2020, New Delhi to London, UK (Flight – British Airways BA 142), August 6th 2020, London, the U.K. to Calgary, Canada (Flight-American Airlines AA 6225). the airlines cancelled the trip due to covid and on asking refund, cleartrip issued a open ticket valid till march 31st 2022. The airlines till date is not operating this route. Hence cleartrip is not able to reissue the ticket. Cleartrip is neither issuing refund nor reissuing the open ticket, or extending the validity of the open ticket which is about to expire. They are also not responding to emails and hung up my follow up calls multiple times.

                                        I booked a flight ticket from vizag to Mumbai on 10th March. But I haven't received my ticket, though amount is debited from my account. I talked with bank, they said that payment is with merchant, and cleartrip is saying that we haven't received the money. Please look into the ASAP, I'm in financial crises.
