Clear trip isn't refunding the full amount when an airline initiated full refund. They are deducting convenience fees as well as cleartrip charges from the refunded amount. This is cheating.

I have done a payment regarding booking Polo orchid resort cherapunjee on 14/2/2022 having the UPI reference no. at 10.34 am for the amount of 12, 359 rupees.
My amount was debited amount and I have received transaction id from SBI but the booking is not confirmed by clear trip

The website shows..Oops, your payment failed. Don't worry you haven't been charged.

I have given my complain through phone directly. My complain number is 13674786

The customer care service agent said that you will get your money 2 to 3 business days. But I haven't received my money yet. Kindly refund for the said amount as soon as possible.

    I tried to book flight tickets through cleartrip twice on 11/02/2022. The transaction was unsuccessful but the amount was debited from my bank account both time. It been four days and the amount is still not credited back into my bank account. I tried to contact them on customer care but no contact number or toll free number is provided on the website.
    ClearTrip customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

    This private site does not demand the evidences attached to the public complaint.
    Nevertheless, the supply of the evidences is a rule in India, if, likely, the customer wants his money back or the other material result. The evidence is a material thing in Indian law.
    After the evidences and request of the customer are seen by the decision maker, he/she can decide on the output in the particular dispute.

      We booked Air India flights for Port Blair (round trip) for 26th to 31st Jan through Cleartrip as per the below Trip IDs:
      a[protected]
      b[protected]
      c[protected]
      Due to the covid-19 outbreak, we converted our existing ticket to open ticket via Cleartrip on 21st Jan 2022, which was confirmed by an Email Rohan from Cleartrip helped with processing.

      We contacted Cleartrip CC to use open tickets, after multiple follow-ups we got response that CT can't help with booking of open tickets.
      We contacted Air India directly and came to know that our open ticket was not remarked as "open for use" by Cleartrip and it was flagged as no show.

      According to Air India, our ticket was encashed by Cleartrip and the airline is not authorized to reschedule the encashed tickets.

      Now it seems like a complete mess and we are blocked.

      We have talked with Rohan, Siddharth, Harsh Sachdeva, Anisha ( TL) from the Cleartrip CC.

      & Now whenever we call Cleartrip CC they put us on hold or just say they will call back in 2-3 hrs but we get no return call.

      Please try to help us asap.

      And also please somebody go & ban this cleartrip type of companies.

        Hello sir, it’s been more than 12 working days and I haven’t recieved my refund for the flights that got cancelled from airlines end. My flight cancellation number is[protected]. The flight was a round trip from Pune to Amritsar. PNR - ALBTJZ Hope to recieve my refund as soon as possible.

        The refund, if there are reasons and grounds for its effect, can not be done to the person, who refuses to introduce himself and refuses to provide his contacts.

        You see by your own eyes that the police officer ware the badge with the name and the abbreviation of the rank at the uniform, the name of the police department at the Indian roads, for example, during the service hours.

        Further, the customer shall address the complaint to the provider of the service and wait for 15 days for the primary decision (reply) prior to an escalation of the dispute to the customers court of the nearest big city or to the branch of DGCA in the state, according to their rules, if the customer resides in India.

          I have booked flight tickets for 2 from Port Blair to Ahmedabad via Chennai (Port Blair to Chennai by SpiceJet, Chennai to Ahmedabad by IndiGo) through ClearTrip. Due to Covid cases, the flight from Port Blair got cancelled by SpiceJet, and didn't have any rescheduling option for the same day. ClearTrip representative assured us that we are eligible for a full refund for the complete trip. As per the guidance provided by him, we cancelled our IndiGo flight too. All the relevant documents have been shared to both the Airlines and ClearTrip. It's been more than 15 days, they haven't refunded any kind of refund to us, despite calling them for a dozen times. Every time we call them, we are supposed to give them a whole story line from the beginning. None of the Senior Representative available any day to attend the complaint. After promising call backs several times, we haven't got a single call. Very pathetic experience. I will never book any kind of ticket from them in future.

          2. There is inexpensive customers court in Ahmedabad city. They can resolve such dispute according to their rules in favour of the customer or in favour of the responder.

          To enter in a contract, if the customer intends to use the public transport, presumes a risk for both contracting parties everywhere and always.

            I tried to make a booking from CJB to DIB on 11 mar. 2022. Everything is okay but it says payment failed but my account was deducted an amount of 15734 rs.

              Payment made but booking not confirmed

              I made payment regarding booking of a hotel on 12/02/2022 having the UPI reference no.[protected] at 09:55 for the amount of Rs. 3686.00.
              My account was debited with the said amount but the booking is not confirmed by Cleartrip.

              The website shows this message - Oops, your payment didn't work.

              I checked with my bank(State Bank of India) as well as with Paytm through which I have done my transaction, they...

              The worst ever experience with cleartrip. I have booked a round trip from Hyderabad to Tirupati in November. But the onward trip has been cancelled by the airlines due to heavy rains then. The airlines have even given full refund endorsement for my trip. But till date I didn’t get my refund. All lame excuses they give. I have even opted for insurance for full refund. Cleartrip is the most fraudulent website. It’s a lesson that we should never go with these intermediaries for flight bookings. Better book through the airlines website.

                  But, due to the covid outbreak, we converted our existing ticket to an open ticket through Cleartrip on 21st Jan 2022, which was confirmed by an Email. Cleartrip person who did perform this operation was Rohan.

                  Now, we decided to use the open ticket and reschedule the flights for the month of March and contacted Cleartrip CC for the same. But after talking to multiple people and hours-long waiting on Cleartrip CC we understood that they are just passing the time and they are not actually interested in booking our flight. Some people also told us that Cleartrip can't do open tickets.
                  Hearing this shocking reply we contacted the airline directly i.e. Air India. There we came to know that our open ticket was not remarked as "open for use" and it was showing no show.
                  According to the airline, our ticket was encashed by Cleartrip and the airline is not authorized to reschedule the encashed tickets.

                  Now it seems like a complete mess of what Cleartrip did in our case. We need a resolution on this as soon as possible. Regardless to say we can't recommend Cleartrip to anyone in the future.

                  We have talked with Rohan, Siddharth, Harsh Sachdeva, Anisha ( TL) already in your customer support team. Our request to your CC guys is to please don't act over-smart with customers if you have made a mistake then accept it and resolve it.

                    I have booked flight ticket from Delhi to Bangalore under Trip ID[protected] for 23rd Dec 2021 for 5 Passengers under easy cancellation policy of Cleartrip. I cancelled flight tickets for 3 passengers (Anjali Gupta, Medhansh Gupta, Sahansh Gupta) on 14th Dec from clear trip app. The refund initiated by Cleartrip is only for two passengers while for one refund was never initiated. I have raised multiple complaints to Cleartrip customer care[protected], 13396449, 13439239,[protected] but always got response that will look into it and never got refund. Cleartrip is running a scam under easy cancellation policy and looting customer’s money. I have attached screenshot from Cleartrip app about cancellation and refund.

                      Complaint Regarding Refund

                      Dear sir/mam,
                      I have been facing the worst experience for the last 20 days with Cleartrip Pvt. Ltd.
                      My trip ID is[protected] . Last 20 days I called nearly 10 times to you and I am trying to get my refund amount which Cleartrip has already got from the Indigo Airlines as a fare difference. But still I didn't get any refund. Waiting for 20 days to get this refund is too much time.
                      I want my refund as soon as possible....

                      Cleartrip Amount not refunded for failed transaction

                      I made payment a ticket on 30/01/2022 with trip id[protected]
                      and Cleartrip claims that the UPI transaction did not complete, but my account was debited. Even as of today i.e. 8th Feb'22, I have not received the refund.

                      The booking shows this message - Your booking was not completed as we've received a failed status from the payment gateway. If your account was charged, it should be refunded to the same within 3-12...

                      Any recipient has a right to leave the complaint without the reply, if the text of the complaint is not understood objectively.

                      The India's users rely on India's native TV programs. The India's native TV programs give the India's users the comprehensive description of the political and economical events. But the India's native TV programs do not have an obligation to provide the legal (financial) solution for the defined individual in undefined customer's circumstances.

                        Greetings,
                        I booked my round trip journey(Indigo) from cleartrip.com. I completed first half of the journey without any issues but the second half I cancelled the ticket. As a result, a refund amount of INR 1673/- is pending from Cleartrip's side. Kindly process it as soon as possible. The date of he flight was January 2, 2022. I have shared the itinerary, and I processed the refund for the journey from Lucknow to Mangalore via Mumbai.
                        It's really hard to contact ClearTrip as well, because I booked the ticket without signing into cleartrip, so I don't have a Trip ID. But please I want my refund asap, as I don't expect such a thing to happen from a renowned place like ClearTrip.
                        Kindly look into it and get back to me, it has been long since I've posted the above complaint.

                            They have mentioned in their website that Ticket is refundable. After ticket cancellation my money fully charged by the airline.
                            This is cheating from Cleartrip
                            Almost my 26000 rs gone
                            Kindly help me to get this refund.

                              Booked Ticket through Cleartrip on Sunday Nov 7th 2021 from Manchester to Dubai (Round Trip )
                              Cancelled the ticket on 1st Dec 2021.
                              Tickets were booked for travel on 10th Dec 2021 and 5th Jan 2022
                              Air France--Manchester to Dubai.
                              KLM Royal Dutch---Dubai to Manchester.
                              This ticket was cancelled through the Clear Trip Portal.
                              AIR FRANCE clearly states in its Website
                              All Air France tickets are fully modifiable and refundable at no cost and without proo[censored]p to the day of departure for travel up to 31 March 2022.
                              KLM ROYAL DUTCH AIRLINES also states
                              KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will provide a complete refund of your ticket cost in case the booking was made a week or more prior to the departure date of your KLM Royal Dutch Airlines flight.
                              The attached document shows Cleartrip is slow in the follow up procedure.I would like to have my ticket money refunded immediately as it was clearly stated it was a refundable ticket. Cleartrip has taken more than 60 days and not given a satisfactory reply even after regular follow ups from my side.

                                Hi Team,

                                I have a my parent return flight booked from DEL - SFO - DEL for 25 May 2021 and returing on 11 Nov 2021. At that time covid-19 was in peak in India, US canceled all the flight from India and my parent flight got cancelled. After this we reachout to cleartrip via call and they told us that Cleartrip change our ticket for open ticket and we received the mail for the same.

                                Now if we are trying to reach out to them they are saying your flight is canceled and you have to pay us if you want to make a booking.

                                I am not sure what to do here as they told us ticket is an open ticket and all this time we assume that we will reachout to cleartrip when we want to continue our booking. If they have canceled our flight atleast they should have issue a refund for the same last year which they never did.

                                Can you please help us on this and get our money back.

                                  My trip ID[protected]. My Flight was cancelled by Airlines. Airlines has given full refund of Rs 11814 to clear trip but clear trip has refunded Rs 10911. By deducting EZcancel charges. Why ?? Trip cancellation is not from my side.
