I booked my flight ticket from delhi - chennai one way on 15 march 2020 (Trip id:[protected], it's been more than 05 months.
Customer support is also very bad..
I'm getting the same mail again and again.
Till i'm not getting my refund.

    I booked ticked from clear trip they gave booking confirmation from fly dubai then i got an email from airline stating they are not operating flight i contacted airlines and as per them they never gave any confirmation to clear trip yet they booked and contact clear trip for refund process i tried to contact them non of their customer service is working i visited their mumbai office that also they shifted then i booked my ticket from emirates and travelled i cancelled my ticket stating reason flight cancelled by airlines yet they deducted 583 aed out of 675 aed only 92 aed is refunded which is not fair flight is cancelled by airlines and i want my full refund as due to pandemic i can't bear such huge fraud no one is responding from clear trip kindly take strict action and help me in getting my full refund

      I had booked mumbai - newyork flight of 24th april 2020 which was cancelled by delta airlines on 6th april 2020 due to lock down and the airlines and cleartrip confirmed me total refund through their mail. But its almost four months have passed they are still not refunding and they are giving reason that the refund is in process.

        Respected sir/madam,
        I had done the flight ticket booking on Sunday morning 19th of July 2020, I got the e-ticket ( which did not mention if it was confirmed or not) .After a few minutes I got a msg and an email saying that the payment is still under process, after another 1-2 minutes I got a msg and an email saying that the payment wasn't successful, the payment failed so if the money has been deducted from my account then I would be getting the money back in 3 to12 working days . (I am attaching all the details )
        I tried calling you and the airlines, Indigo, but no one was answering the phone, I tried calling the airport so that I could talk to any representative from the indigo airlines present there, but I just couldn't reach anyone. I have not yet received the refund.
        As the web check-in also was not available to check if the ticket that you had emailed was a valid ticket or not . (Web check is only available 48hrs before the flight).
        I had to get a confirmed ticket of Pune to Nagpur for the 21st July 2020 as I had to travel for my college admission . So I booked another ticket through another agent .
        I checked in by web check-in later that is on Monday 20th July 2020 and I entered the PNR of the booking that you provided me in the e- ticket, and it was allowing me to select the seats and all, so that was an indication that the ticket booking was a valid one and hence I cancelled the booking but I got a message that only a part of the money that I paid that is only Rs 4860/- will be refunded, while I had paid Rs13040/-( I haven't received this refund, I checked with the bank as well)
        Now I request you to make sure that I get the full amount refunded that is Rs13080/- as soon as possible because I am being charged for your mistake. You sent me an email that the payment was unsuccessful and the money would be refunded back . That is the reason we made another booking .

          They give you assurance your money will reflect with 12 days hardly.
          All are fake never book any ticket in cleartrip no customer care is the who help.

            Respected Sir/Madam,


            I would like to draw your kind attention towards shoddy service of airline operators and how nonchalantly they play with consumers hard earned money with literally no accountability.
            Sir I had booked an air travel ticket from Delhi to Goa and back for my travel dates 01 April 2020 to 4th April 2020 via Clear trip booking site with reference Trip ID[protected].The total cost of my fare was Rs 33, 524/- and the receipt of the fare is attached below.The air tickets were booked by SpiceJet 8171 from New Delhi (DEL) to Goa (GOI) for travel date 1st April 20 and Vistara 848 from Goa (GOI) to New Delhi (DEL)for travel date 4 th April 20 for four passengers namely .Priti Mehra, Saurabh Mehra, Prapti Mehra and Himani Shali.

            When the lockdown was declared by our Hon’ble Prime Minister on 22nd of March 2020, I cancelled my trip on 23rd March 2020 taking a proactive call on widespread pandemic and as a law abiding citizen adhering to guidelines laid down by GOI for prohibiting travels.After incessant requests both to airlines and travel agent, I have only received an amount of Rs 3236/- out of my total fare amount of Rs 33, 524/- eating away my hard earned money of Rs 30, 288/-. I may please submit my complaint

            A.That the airline companies instead of showing humanitarian virtues, is rather seeing these challenging times as an opportunity to extract unlawful gains from the people who are already in misery due to uncertainties. That the present policy is extremely harsh on the ordinary passengers who book tickets in advance for travelling.That Airlines has given evasive answers and are refusing to give the entire refund and has thus caused mental torture and harassment to the Applicants, and is a deficiency in service. Hence the Applicants are not only entitled to the entire refund of the tickets amount, but also to interest and costs.

            B.That the action on the part of Airlines instead of providing the full refund of the amount collected for the tickets due to cancellation, providing a Credit Shell, valid upto one year, is clearly in violation of the Civil Aviation Requirement issued by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) which clearly states that “the option of 17 holding the refund amount in credit shell by the airlines shall be the prerogative of the passenger and not a default practice of the airline.

            C.That cleartrip has deducted undue service [protected]@Rs 1800/- for services not privided to the customer

              I have booked a fight ticket on 2nd july 2020. The money is deducted bu the transaction is failed. No money has refunded yet. When i approached the hdfc bank they said that money has transacted (Ref;[protected] to merchant and asked me to approach you. So kindly check and refund my amount at the earliest.

                Respected sir l booked flights through clear trip due to coviid pandemic i didn't travel i am trying to call since the telephone provided by cleattrip ithousand times and sending mail no reply no one picked the phone how can i refund my money pls do the need ful. My trip id[protected] i booked for qatar airways. Bookings i spend 4500 qatar riyal. My name is mini skariah i booked tickets for my daughter and husband. I need this money. Pls help

                  Dear sir/madam
                  Please refer to the highlighted text mentioned below from an email received from clear trip on 20th july 2020 regarding refund of mere rs 3236 for my trip id[protected] for goa travel during lockdown period 1st to 4th april 2020.
                  It is very shocking to know that out of total fare of rs 33, 524/- (Receipt attached) only rs 3236 is refunded to me.
                  The clear trip has deducted their service charges for services which is not provided and cancellation charges for trip being canceled for travel during the lockdown imposed by the government of india. Under the aegis of the new consumer protection act, 2019, a product manufacturer and seller will be liable to provide compensation for injury or damage caused by a defective product or service. Inter alia the act also adds that in cases where the consumer is injured, the fine to the manufacturer, seller or distributor could go up to rs 5 lakh and up to seven years in jail.

                  I beg to say that its my hard earned money of which every penny counts. The tickets were canceled in lieu of restrictions imposed by goi and not by my own whims and fancies.

                  I humbly request once again to kindly refund my entire amount so that i am not put to any further mental agony.

                  CLEAR TRIP HAS AGAIN SENT ME AN AUTOMATED GENERATED EMAIL THAT WE HAVE REFUNDED RS 3236/- OUT OF TOTAL COST OF FARE BORNE BY ME TO THE TUNE OF RS 33, 524/-. WITHOUT ANY SERVICES AVAILED BY THE CUSTOMER .PLEASE FIND THE ATTACHED EMAIL RECEIVED ON 22ND JULY 20 FROM CLEAR TRIP PVT LTD .

                  THIS IS VERY HORRIBLE AND SHOCKING SINCE THE JOURNEY WAS NOT CONDUCTED BY COMPLAINANT DUE TO LOCKDOWN IMPOSED BY GOI. PLEASE DIRECT CLEAR TRIP TO REFUND MY ENTIRE AMOUNT

                    Hi team.

                    I had booked a ticket for kuala lumpur - bangalore one-way (Trip id:[protected] via cleartrip, they have not refunded the amount from may month although they should have in 42 hours.
                    The ticket was from malaysian airlines and they have refunded cleartrip the amount. Cleartrip is clearly holding the money from a long time.

                    I have followed up for 20 + times over various platforms but they are not returning the money.

                      i would like to submitt a complaint regarding clear trip booking site /operators who have refunded only rs 3236 amount against my total booking fare of rs 33, 524/- for my booking trip id[protected] for dates 1 to 4 th of april 2020 as given vide their email dated 20th july 2020 attached below.They have deducted service charges and cancellation charges for services unprovided to me and cancelled due to lockdown imposed by goi.

                      This is highly condemnable as for a middle class person every penny counts. I request your goodself to kindly blacklist clear trip and direct clear trip to refund my other charges taken in name of service charge and cancellation charges along with my ticket costs to bail me out from causing further mental agony and pain.

                        Both of the below flights were cancelled by airlines. And i was confirmed by them that i will get full refund for the same, however cleartrip did not provided me the full refund. [i booked ticket from amazon.in site. Didnot knew they have their internal tie up with cleartrip. When i tried to cancel off tickets, i was then routed to cleartrip site]

                        Pune → kolkata fri, jul 03, 2020 indigo 6e 623 pnq 02:55 | pune - lohegaon (Pnq) to ccu kolkata - netaji subhas
                        And
                        Kolkata → pune tue, jul 07, 2020 air asia i5 598 ccu 20:30 | kolkata - netaji subhas chandra bose airport (Ccu) to pune - lohegaon (Pnq)

                        Their site shows below payment details:-

                        Base fare ₹ 3544
                        Gst (Airline) ₹ 206
                        Taxes and fees ₹ 2475
                        Total ₹ 6225

                        ₹ 6225 paid via deposit account
                        Refund ₹ 4228.0 (Why ₹ 6225 - ₹ 4228.0 = ₹ 1997 less?)
                        ₹ 3253 paid via to deposit account
                        ₹ 975 paid via to deposit account

                        Whereas i have only received :
                        ₹ 2620.50 transaction id : at201830004000010059080 amex credit card order id :[protected]
                        ₹ 622.50 : cashback in amazonpay account (While booking the tickets) order id : p[protected].

                        Total : ₹ 3243

                        I still need to receive ₹ 2982 more.

                        I have dropped them email, sent them chaser mails. Raised ticket on their site #11416456, still they did not get back to me with any concrete information.

                                  I had booked an Indigo flight from Mumbai to Bangalore trip I'd [protected] fro 29th March.
                                  Flight was cancelled by Airline due to COVID. I received a mail on cancellation and assured of refund by June 31. I received refund of Rs 560 against Rs 3737 on July 18.
                                  When flight is cancelled by airline what's customer fault to get penalized.

Due to covid pandemic, these tickets were not utilized due to the lockdown from 22nd march 2020. I sent an email for cancellation to spice jet airlines.                                     Now after cancellation i have been incessantly taking and requesting my refund of rs 33, 524/- from clear trip and also to the concerned airlines spice jet and vistara just to get no refunds till date or only to hear from them that - “we checked your refund status with our finance team. Due to the current covid-19 lock down situation, unfortunately there has been a delay in getting the refunds processed. This is because we are receiving a huge number of refund requests from our customers as well as we are operating with very limited resources. Our finance team is trying hard to process as many requests as is humanly possible to meet timelines.”. This message is simply auto generated and which keeps appearing every time i write an email to them for my refund.

                                    It seems clear trip is simply dodging me by throwing the ball into airlines court and vice versa. Also nobody is there to either assist or pick up our calls from customer care service desk from clear trip.

                                    Sir, with this kind of service its very difficult for a normal citizen to trust these aviation tour operators like clear trip and allow them to play with our hard earned money. I have been suffering such mental agony that it is undescribable. I request you to kindly intervene in order to address to my grievance and help me to get my refund from clear trip.
