Hi

I have a membership with club Mahindra. I have received certain food voucher for 11000 credits and after utilisation I have 9000 as per my records.
The employee from club Mahindra informed me that it will be credited to my app in credit section but unfortunately I haven't
To know the status, I kept on calling club Mahindra but received no response. from past 20 days am indulge in calling club Mahindra to get my problem solved but they receive the call and after while hung upon. (Never bother to solve my problem).
I am really tired of calling each and every no. I find and now I expect a call from club Mahindra with proper help.

    I have booked 2 nights stay at club Mahindra cheer on Aug 2021. The property was beautiful but the rooms were not well maintained. Absolutely no maintenance and dirty rooms were provided when we checked in.The rooms were full of dust particles and room smells a lot. Seems no proper maintenance done for air conditioning as well.We already complained regarding this, but they said they can only provide different room next day due to no availability. Due to discomfort we spent most of the time out side the room, and next day evening we decided to check out instead of shifting to a different room as we were 2 families with 4 adults and 4 kids.

    As a member we pay annual maintenance cost around 15, 000 to 17, 000 per year. Also, members have to bear the food and activity expenses as well separately during the stay.

    Club Mahindra gives only 7 nights per year to their customers. Hence, I am requesting Club Mahindra to re-credit the days deduced as part of this booking. Please review this concern.

      I took Club Mahindra membership from Dubai thinking the covid situation would subside. But I haven't been able to travel anywhere due to covid. Therefore this membership has been useless to me and a wate of my money. I want to cancel my membership and get a full refund

        I took membership of Club Mahindra in 2018. Member ID 2822653. Down Payment Made Rs 41830 and 3 EMI of 10669 were paid. A sum total of 73837 was paid to the company. The company's executive came up with false commitments and I was not allowed to book any holidays for me/my family and wanted them to sort out issues before collecting any further payments from me. Despite numerous reminders they did not settle anything as regards the said amount is concerned. Further last year during the first wave of COVID19 and subsequently during the second wave in 2021, me and my family were infected and I did lose my grand parents during that reign. I lately realised that the company has cancelled my membership and has not even given any credit of the sum it collected from. I thereby request you to please look into the matter and get me the refund processed for the amount paid to the company, because I did not pay only for mere registration and fake billing and no resolution from their end. Further cancellation of membership being a proactive step from their end should be penalised and taken seriously. I would humbly request you to help me get my money back

        The company tries acting very over smart stating that the membership has been cancelled as per the agreement. I wish to enlighten that one sided agreements are not tenable in the court of law. Therefore, by no means is the company allowed to forfeit the 100% of the amount paid to them and withhold my membership as a member without giving any services to me. I thereby look forward for a proper resolution wherein the company repays me the amount paid till date with interest for the said duration, till the date they repay the said amount to me.

          I have paid full amount to Club Mahindra by year 2012 and by 2015 they have told me that balance amount is still there. I have given all proof for the final payment and I got no due certificate by year 2016.Now they are asking to pay EMI differential Tax and how it should be paid now. They are also linking the EMI differential Tax along with ASF. SO asf could not be paid.

            I have requested mahindra club resort to stop ECS from my firm account and cancel my membership. But club mahindra is not listening me and pulling Rs 11309/- without any prior notice. It is a financial crime to fetch money from account without listening customers problem. In corona pandemic our business badly hampered, we are in financial crunch, we are regularly requesting club mahindra team to stop ECS . But they are forcely pulling amount from our account and they speak to us that membership can not be cancelled

                My club mahindra membership no is 2739158. My name is komal prajapat. On 10 feb 2017 two club mahindra sales person came at my home and they explained me the policy of club mahindra holidays. I agreed to their policy due to their lucrative plans. They provided me various vouchers. But after 2 months of membership i tried to book my 1st trip but no hotel was available and even their helpdesk was also not supportive. Till today after 4 years i haven't booked their any hotel or i can say not able to book because of no availability of rooms. And after 2 years i come to know other conditions which that sales person did not tell us.1st is that i have to pay an asf amount every year till 25 years for which that guy said that for special services if you want to avail than only you have to pay asf otherwise not. 2nd is that as i told customer care person that i'm not able to book any room because of no availability of rooms then he said that you have to upgrade your policy to purple as for white member advance booking starts only 15 days before.and their cancellation policy is if you cancel between 15 to 8 days you will be charged of 50% of days. Due to these conditions all the rooms get booked and i could not get that. Due to their so many terms and conditions i have become frustrated i have already spent around 5lakh rs and every year have to pay asf even if we dont book the room. in this covid time we do not want to go out anyway. and one another issue is that they never told us that your days will get expired my 7 days has been expired, 7 complimentary nights both at national and international and also the vouchers has been expired and their executives also changes every time so that we are not able to properly explain our concern. i want all my money back. Please bring me out of this vicious cycle.

                  I had taken membership of club Mahindra in 2015. My EMI perio was Jun 2015 to May 2016. All my EMIs were paid on due date .My Payment dashboard is showing a pending amount of Rs 5251 marked as DST . The Club executive could not convince me about applicability as refreed to GST which was introduced on 1st Jul 2017. Kindly help me to get clarification on this pending amount and my liability to pay.

                    This complaint is in regards to Club Mahindra.

                    I made my first booking on 17/06/ 2021 for my stay at Club Mahindra Cherai on 17/07/2021

                    My second booking was on 12/07/2021 for my stay at the same resort at Cherai on 16/07/2021

                    For both the above reservations I have got numerous emails and text confirmations, including asking me to prebook the food during my period of stay.

                    The welcome emails had the Covid-19 protocols followed at the resort, reassurance of the hygiene at the resort and expectations from guest.

                    Further to this I had a telephonic conversation with Club Mahindra Cherai staff at 10:30 am on 14/07/2021 who was well aware of my holiday booking.

                    On 15/07/2021, I get a call from Club Mahindra that my reservation for the nect day is cancelled.

                    Above to all these I get a mail from Club Mahindra on 15/07/2021 stating " We are disappointed that you are unable to avail your holiday this time and we are sure it must be due to unavoidable circumstances". CAN CLUB MAHINDRA STOOP TO THIS LEVEL, BOOK MY HOLIDAY WHEN A RESORT IS CLOSED, CANCEL MY HOLIDAY AND PUT THAT ON ME????????

                    Further to this when I checked the availability further to receiving the mail on 15/07/2021, Club Mahindra App still showed the availability for the Cherai resort on the date my bookings was cancelled.

                    This holiday was to celebrate my Son's 10th birthday at your resort and if Cherai was not available I would have booked any other resort and done my travel plan accordingly. My family is utterly disappointed and dont trust Club Mahindra any more. Because of the last minute cancellation I was unable to book anywhere else and thank you Club Mahindra - Club Mahindra ruined my plan of giving a memorable birthday for my son. NOW IS THIS WHAT YOU CALL MAKE EVERY MOMENT MAGICAL?????

                    Club Mahindra has taken my booking confirmation even when their resort was closed.
                    On further investigation the Cherai resort was closed before the holiday booking of mine was done as the TPR rate was high in that area.
                    Further they assumed that the resort could be opened on 16/07/2021. This shows Club Mahindra's insestivity towards their members. Once a booking is confirmed I made the travel plans and started my Journey from Chennai to Cochin.
                    Now Club Mahindra says that they informed me one day in advance that the booking is cancelled and hence they are not responsible for it whicle its the Governemnt who did not allow them to open the resort.

                    I have lost my money travelling for this holiday and had to undergo hardships as family as the booking was closed in the last minute by Club Mahindra.

                    I have attached all the communucations I had with Club Mahindra.

                    Club mahindra attracts people for only 2 yrs, then they leave their customer on their own. They never give u booking and u exhausted and frustrated but club mahindra ask u everyone for ASF.

                    A FEW WORDS ABOUT THE "CLUB MAHINDRA MEMBERSHIP"


                    * they say their facility is 5 start + above, ask them to show the letter/approval from tourism dept.
                    * ask clearly about the payment options and if instalments ask to show you the breakup details in total, so you know what amounts you are paying.
                    * ask clearLy about on ASF (annual fee for maintenance) in detail, terms and payment yearly basis, … so you how it built and after 10 yrs what amount you going to pay like that…
                    * ask the asf example for 1st 12 years, so you know how it growing.
                    * ask the ratio between the total number of members v/s number of total rooms that Mahindra holding (by total and pkg option wise like blue or purple)
                    * The amounts that you paying ie membership fee + asf only for their room rent and maintenance only, no flooding/ activities.
                    * ask details on food options, eg: can we bring outside food and eat in hotel or book by swiggy etc… (my side answer is a big NO.)
                    * what are the issues if in case you are not able to pay the instalment or asf for some genuine reason? (the answer is you cannot book vacations even if you have any days in hand)
                    * What is the cancellation policy? If in case you want to cancel your membership after joining and paying a full fee or some instalments? What is the procedure and how much do you get back?
                    (my answer here… you do not get any money, whatever you paid is for them :))
                    * what are the policies or procedures if you want to gift your holidays to someone?
                    * what are the policies or procedures if you want to sell your membership? What are the expenses involved for you?
                    * till you take a membership they treat you as a king but after that make you a beggar for rights/ needs.
                    * they will not respond/ reply to any emails you sent to them.
                    * they will not support anything as a part of customer supports….every time and everything they talk about for them is favored.
                    * ask to show the terms and conditions booklet clearly and read 100% points (it's my humble request, please please). Before you sign anything with them about the membership.
                    * room they say 5* facility but lower than 3* …. Ask their facilities to know by yourself to compare a 5* facility v/s their facility
                    * booking procedure, … they need you to book vacation 4 months early? If you cancel once booking then there is a cancellation charge, ask the breakups on this.
                    do you think really that you can plan your vacation booking at such an early time?

                    KILLING RULES
                    * food, they do not allow from outside and we forced to eat from them… for an adult per day (breakfast/ lunch/dinner) charges around 1, 500/- per a person. Excluding 18% tax.
                    * for everything they charge an 18% service tax
                    * they say 5* facility but, lower than 3* …. Ask their facilities to know by yourself to compare a 5* facility v/s their facility
                    * Membership fee if instalments then 15.5% they charges which are so high in the market. Better you can take a loan from the bank and then pay to them.
                    * asf every year 6-8% increased and you have to pay 25 years saying them this for maintenance
                    * on membership fee, 60% as admission fee which is straight away non-refunded and also the asf that you paying yearly…balance 40% also with additional rules and taxes, so left nothing.
                    * 21 days you can hold the vacations (7 days/year based), so when it comes 4th year ie 28 days then the 1st 7 days you will lose.
                    * 7N you forced to stay in their site paying for high food and with fewer activities….

                    THINK WISELY BEFORE SIGNING
                    * Ex: you planning to take a "blue season/ studio apartment", it means for 3 adults.
                    membership fee with interest is 388, 182 (9, 9907 * 36 months)
                    anuual fee you pays, initially it will be 17, 000 but every year 6-8% increased, for 25 yrs you pay 800, 000
                    food you 787, 500 (based 3 adults * 7 days/ year * 25 years)
                    so total = 1, 967, 475
                    avg per year - 78, 699 (25 yrs based)
                    avg day/ year - 11, 300

                    don’t you think you can't find your dream place/ area to stay at lower than this price and without any hesitations?
                    you can book there at your convenience and free food/ welcome drink/ free access to their facilities and clean facility.

                        I am having Purple Studio Membership no 2280085 and as over the phone I made their executive understand and explained him the problems and issues I am facing towards this membership, in beginning I was a Red Studio Member but I use to face lots of issues while doing booking as whenever I use to call for reservations I always use to get this answer that their resort is fully booked, at the time of taking membership I was promised that whenever I want to plan a holiday I can immediately book in any of the resort of their property so they showed me this ROZY picture and I got in to trap of their sales executive who sold me this useless membership, later many times I complained then one of their sales executive told me to upgrade membership from Red to Purple and she told me that whenever I plan my holiday I will get confirm booking in any of their resorts but here also I feel I was duped and cheated by their marketing people.
                        Year 2016 and 2017 I got this offer that I will get 2 additional days for paying ASF which is total 4 extra days but never got any extra days.
                        Towards this Purple Studio Membership I have already paid approximately ₹8, 85, 000/- plus ASF charges approximately ₹76, 000/- so till date I have paid approximately ₹9, 61, 000/-.
                        If I calculate just simple interest of 5% per year for 25 years on membership of ₹8, 85, 000/- so that amount will be ₹19, 91, 250/- including 5% simple interest per year plus ASF charges extra which are almost ₹17, 386/- at present which I am sure they will increase, so ₹19, 91, 250/- divided by 25 years and again divided by 7 days a year so each Day/Night cost is coming to ₹11, 378/- per day approximately and plus ASF ₹17, 386/- per year divided by 7 days so each day ASF charges are coming up to ₹2, 483/- per day extra, so ₹11, 378/- plus ₹2, 483/- is costing ₹13, 861/- per day which is super duper high charges as at this price one can enjoy a Europe Holiday package including all meals, Air Fare, Sightseeing etc all inclusive.
                        Year 2019 during Diwali I got a call from their Andheri Office and this gentleman told me that this Diwali we are giving gift vouchers of Tanishq and ₹10, 000/- RCV to all our Purple Studio Members but till date didn’t receive anything.
                        Now as whenever I want to do booking in any resort A) I am unable to do online as I keep getting message displayed on my screen please clear your ASF first. B) if I call and do offline booking again I get this answer that they can’t confirm booking as my ASF is pending. so in both the cases booking can’t be processed and confirmed.
                        Year 2019 I got this offer if I pay for 1 year so my 1st year ASF will be waived off and in addition I will get ₹10, 000/- RCV, then now in 2021 if my 4 year ASF is pending so during COVID I should get 2 year’s ASF waiver and ₹35, 000/- RCV as it is their ASF charges are extremely high of ₹17, 386/- per year for 7 days o[censored]tilising a room in hotel property of them and all of their properties are far away from the city centre, so now my request to them is to give me waiver of 2 Years of ASF plus ₹35, 000/- RCV and also credit my lapsed 5.9 days + 4 days and unlock my membership so that I can plan a holiday and do booking in any resort and also they should always keep a Studio Apartment extra for last minute booking for purple studio members so that we should be able to enjoy hassle free holidays and booking should be eased up and not to be full of tensions and it shouldn’t be a punishment for their customers.

                          This is with great regards of frustration to be a customer of yours. I nearly paid 1lakhs rupees to your service
                          After tedious marketing through your consulting, I became a member of your organization. Initially their talks were so soothing when they were explaining about the benefits and pros of the schemes. Later I made an EMI option and enrolled for scheme.

                          Later, the response was so frustrating and there is no such benefits since I logged into the schemes. Until now whenever enrolled for vacation, there is no response from the team and if case they pick up they are denying to accept the vacation package.

                          I understand the pandemic situation constraints, even when I asked during the non pandemic time, response is such a hit. and i don’t need this kind of membership and please arrange my full refund amount . please find the attached conversation and EMI debited photos for your reffrence.

                          We are totally fed up with your service. I have compalint more than 10 times. im following up constantly with your managers. No such a step taken from your end. This was my last followup if I'm not getting I'm gono raise legal

                            This mail is to bring to your notice that I have booked Club Mahindra holidays BLUE Studio in the year August 2019 in the name Tapan Joshi and Suman sasanapuri and due to current pandemic and situations prevailing in the market our jobs are on stake, our companies have already started lay off and they have given 2 months notice for me to resign, moreover salary cuts to half for coming months and last 2 months we got 25% salaries, with this uncertainties it is very difficult for me to continue paying EMI’s of 10K per month. I am basically from Chattisgarh ( Raipur) and planning to go back as there are no new job opportunities and staying here in Bangalore is an expensive option for now.

                            Further it is very sad to inform you that my engagement got broken due to internal family issues and I have taken club Mahindra for her (future wife) and when she is not there in life there is no use to continue as the whole and sole purpose for booking this holiday was for her. Please understand I belong from a middle class family and my father is no more in this world and I have to take care of everything (expense/maintenance) and my mother is alone at my hometown so I need to return back to her once my notice period is over.

                            In view of the above I will not be able to continue with this subscription from now on and I request you to stop my EMI of 10K on immediate basis as from next month as the bank is associated with salary account and shall be closed by company in 2 months and I will get my final settlement in form of cheque on my last working day, I do not wish to continue with Club Mahindra membership and I do not have income to travel or to pay EMI, moreover the sole purpose of buying this package was for my wife. Hope you understand the current situation and help me with options to terminate this membership. I would also bring to your notice that I have never utilised any offers and holidays from the time of booking and neither i have any plans for the same.

                            Kindly look into the above facts and situations and suggest an exit. Hope you will show some empathy and understand my situation and provide me options for the same. I request you to process my full refund and let me know the next process as I need to pack up and leave Bangalore permanently

                              We have paid amount of Rs .10800 to your staff Mr.ram in maruthi showroom, vishnu cars, kundrathur for holiday package rooms in club mahindra.but till now we have not received any vouchers.your staff gave two codes through whatsup only.we asked him to book rooms in pondicherry resort.He is not attending our phone.but sees ours messages and replies wait mam.so consider our problem and resolve us

                                  What an appalling experience today and this is not the first time, if your site and app cannot handle the booking you should shut it down.

                                  Here I am planning my Nov holiday since July and being ready to book my 4N-5D trip (07-Nov check in, 11-Nov checkout) preparation I am all ready and geared up since 09:00 AM waiting for the booking to open at 09:30, ready on the app, later the website and also your call centre. Between 09:30 and 09:40 I tried all options without any success, even the lady on call centre said she cannot book it as system is hanging.. and in 10 mins it’s all sold out.. system still giving errors post that.

                                  If one cannot book a holiday 2 month in advance with over 3 months of advance planning what is the point of continuing with the membership, and that too Purple membership which I upgraded to from my original white many years back.

                                  I want someone to explain how does one go about booking when the website, app, call centre are all of no help……. If want someone to help with the booking… if it’s full then make an exception.. I am also going to do a blog on my experience and share on social media, let everyone know how Club Mahindra comes behind even IRCTC in its booking experience… Appalling and terrible.. please provide me a reference number for this complaint.

                                    I have taken club Mahindra membership on Dtd:-10.07.[protected] & I have applied for cancellation of my club Mahindra membership on Dtd:-12.07.21 via email "[protected]@mahindraholidays.com, member [protected]@clubmahindra.com. But after Then just mail received that within 48 hours we will get back to you but no any response call/mail received. Then after I have done mail on 13.07.21, 16.07.21, 18.07.21, 21.07.21, 26.07.21 to above same mail id as well as mohit_sharma & Meghana_desai but till today they said we get back to you. But now a day which process is running & when I will get refund my paid amount, no one call/mail me. I have already write letter on Dtd 14.07.21 & 19.07.21 to MHRIL-CHENNAI, MUMBAI, AHMEDABAD for my club Mahindra membership cancellation but no any positive response from their side.Kindly look into the matter and cancel my membership and refund my paid amount.

                                    After Laps of Just 11days of my Complain here & refund mailed on Dtd:-12.08.21, when I will get my paid amount back & this membership cancelled. Whenever i have paid for membership, process done within 2/3 hours. And now at refund time it takes more than a month. Take prompt action at an earliest..

                                      2. I am a member since March 2017. Utilizing services, paying regular ASF and upgraded to White Studio in Nov 2019.
                                      3. Couldn't utilize holidays in 2020, 2021 till now due to unprecedented Covid19 pandemic.
                                      4. ASF for 2020 has also been paid.
                                      5. Representation is to allow accumulation of holidays as I was unable to utilize due to Covid and also to reduce/waiver the ASF for 2020/2021.

                                        Club Mahindra executive contacted me in the month of August/ September 2020 regarding the Club Mahindra timeshare product. He explained me the product details. He was very gentle and prompt, but " THE CANCELLATION POLICY WAS NOT EXPLAINED" at all. After the discussion we zeroed down to the White Studio membership and I payed the down payment on the 8th September 2020. Later After few days I got a Validation call from Club Mahindra in which my personal details were asked but "THE CANCELLATION POLICY WAS NOT MENTIONED and obviously not EXPLAINED".

                                        Now due to some financial constraints which hit me in the Covid Pandemic (so did it hit millions in the world), the membership became a taxing affair for me and I searched for a cheaper alternative and came across the Club Mahindra GoZest membership. So I contacted the executive and requested for getting my existing membership converted to the GoZest membership and in this regard I mailed him a request on 22nd October 2020 which was supposed to be forwarded to membership experience portal. After days of getting no reply from CM executive, I decided to directly mail the pune office executive (membership experience portal) for the same and had brief exchange of mail in which he denied my request and subsequently denying my cancellation request and stating it as non refundable..

                                        Now coming to the membership experience portal executive reply ""In this membership, you had opted for a 10% DP and 48 EMI Plan, in which we have received Rs. 31, 340/- payment which is 10% of the membership fee payable. As the same is less than 60% (Admission fees), this amount stands non-refundable as per membership clause 8.2 of the membership.""

                                        1) How would a customer know your cancellation and other policies when he is not being presented it in person or on paper or verbally? So practically and technically I have not entered into an agreement nor I am a signitory to your terms and conditions.

                                        2) How does a validation call can prove I am in agreement with your terms and conditions when they haven't explained it in detail especially the cancellation policy?

                                        3) Even The membership kit you couriered me didnt had any leaflet of the terms and conditions so how am I supposed to know.

                                        AND in which of our conversation or documentation this "CLAUSE 8.2 WAS DISCUSSED"?

                                        4) Now for The example the Pune executive quoted to me, I have payed a Down payment or say a advance for your product which I haven't used yet and was supposed to use it from July 2021 as mentioned on the membership card. So for a service of which I haven't used a single percent how am I supposed to loose all the down payment or say a advance. Will your UNSIGNED policy stand in legal jurisdiction.
                                        MY CASE STANDS WELL IN THE CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT (CPA) SECTION 48, SECTION 51 AND SECTION 68.
                                        5) Initially I simply requested them for an exchange and not a cancellation. Exchange of a unused product is acceptable in the whole world. Why on earth CLUB MAHINDRA is denying that they cannot exchange. Every system does have a bypass or they can have one to retain and satisfy their customer.

                                        The fact of non refundable amount is totally unacceptable and I would have to access my legal rights through proper channel. I requested them to cancel my membership with a acceptable10-15% deduction or simply convert my membership to GoZest.

                                        I am expecting a positive feedback and expect a linient and practical approach from their side. Once again " It is better to retain a customer than loosing one"
