My wife & I are senior citizens.I am a Defence Pensioner.On 21.1.21 we received a call from a GoZest Sales Manager (Madhav) congratulating us for being a NEXON owner, and, stating that they have a tie-up with Tata Motors, and, are offering special 3 yr holiday packages!On 22.1.21, Madhav & Napoleon visited our residence and assured us of maximum hastle-free enjoyment in Club Mahindra Resorts for 9 Nights, 10 Days per year for 3 yrs, with Rs.5000+2000 Food Vouchers, etc., all for Rs.93010/-.Since we normally go on Cruises abroad, we thought it'll be worthwhile to travel by car in Maharastra, Goa, Gujarat resorts, and, remitted Rs.93010/- through my Debit Card, on Madhav's assurance that he'll book Varca Resort from 18-24 Feb 21 positively.Thereafter, there was no communication either from Madhav or Napoleon (RM). As we had to make in-transit reservations for one night, we called [protected] on 27.1.21 to query about the Varca reservation.Idan Fernandes checked and clarified that no such reservation was done, and, neither was any room available except for 24/25 Feb 21 thereafter!Disappointed with the commitment/assurance given by Madhav, I requested that my Membership be cancelled & a full REFUND be precipitated immediately.There is a cooling-off/First look period of 10 days wherein immediate refunds are to be given.The Complaint details were also conveyed to the Senior Officers of Club Mahindra-ie Sh.Sujit Paul & Sh.Kavinder Singh, MD, requesting them to escalate action.
On 2.2.21, I'm now told by their Support Staff that the Complaint is in hand, and, that they'll revert within a day or two.Club Mahindra collects money swiftly, but, tries to delay refunds on petty grounds-un-concerned with the Customer's conveniences.I request that the full REFUND of Rs.93010.00 be got expedited-without further escalation to the Statutory Authoritees.

Updated by HP Jessie Arosha ([protected]) called on 3.2.21 stating that our refund request was submitted within the coolin off/trial period, we'll get full refund by 90 days.We responded by saying that Club Mahindra collects cash on the spot with a card-swipe & that holding up an amount of over Rs.93000 for three months is not acceptable to an elderly pensioner, unless interest @ 18% per annum is paid on it!Club Mahindra Holidays cannot hold Customer's at ransom like this when the fault is solely of their own staff.I am 76 yrs old.Will I live for another 3 months.Who knows?
