I bought an Airtel postpaid sim from an airtel executive who sits in our company on 13th June.I got a verification call on 15th of June.I was told that sim will get activated on 17th June, but my sim wasnt activated.When I asked the executive he said it'll get activated by evening.From then on it has been really frustrating experience for me and some of my friends who also bought their sims from the airtel executive.They have been saying it'll start in the evening or the next day.When we call them up they dont pick up their phones.Another persoon also came to our office for verification and a second verification was done.But till now my sim has not been activated. The number I have taken is [protected]. The executive is Naresh (phn no- [protected]) and his manager is Anil (phn no.-[protected]).This is a way of fooling the customers.I want strict action to be taken against them and my sim to get activated as soon as possible.

    Airtel blocking bank alerts from hsbc

    Address: Chandigarh, Chandigarh

    It's been more than 1 year, since I have stopped receiving all bank alerts from my bank HSBC.
    Numerous calls to both parties have resulted in frustration.

    Now my bank has provided me withe screenshots as proof that they are sending me regular updates, but Airtel has blacklisted my number.

    Airtel representatives still claim no responsibility.

    i had wriiten many times to your customer center and even i made many calls to the customer care also .they had register my complaint and said will be reeving a call from the airtel care within 24 hrs.
    but no one give me any call or any email hasn't sent to me. iam really sad on the service of the airtel.

    i am akhilmenon ,my airtel no was [protected] which has been disconnected even though the connection is for a life time validity . as i was in a business tour for 3 months .i couldn't able to use my no .but the no was not switched off.i was able to receive messages from my friends as well as from the airtel . with out informing me they deactivated my service. i need my no back as my all contacts r in dat no. for that any penality is der am ready to pay it

    Yes airtel is a cheat. they did the same thing with me. Even my airtel no. [protected] was suddenly disconnected few days back while it was in international roaming. The reason thay provided was that there should be a usage of balance atleast once in three months or one should recharge for rs200/- once in atleast 6 months. But both there reasons were completely false. I had used my airtel just 2 months back from the deactivation and even rechraged for more than 2000/-rs. Even numerous mails to airtel nodal office & appelate authority did not help. I even sent a mail to trai but it yeilded no results. How can airtel permanently de activate my no. that too for false reasons and even without sending me a warning sms? i will take airtel to court for sure
    Iam frustrated from your service. U people behave with customer is not good. in Nov I got a bill of around 950 Rs, I didn’t even talk that much and you people said we will give waiver but I didn’t get any waiver for that again next month also I didn’t get any waiver and finally u disconnected my outgoing call without my concern and I told you people I don’t want to use your network still on Jan 26 I received a mail of another 300 Rs bill. You people not there to help customer. iam not able to understand how tata ethics is working like this . How you people are getting inside tata. I think tata is not care about customer he can hire any guy who doesn’t know how to behave with customer.
    Finally the sad thing is one person name sekhar and his friend from collection department came to my home and before that also he called me many times from different no with different names and he scold me many times and he came to my home twice without my permission and he started scolding me in rough language and when I said come on Sunday we discuss about the payment after I talk with customer care, he didn’t listen anything and he enter in my room and when I closed the door he pushed me and behave in bad language even his manager also didn’t listen anything . he said go to police station no one can do anything . I called to customer care 1st day when he came to my home team leader promise me that guy never going to come to my home but he came again next time again I called to customer care then he went outside .

    It s torture from one moth from tata docomo, iam gonna a patient now. I don’t want to you to entertain again. Just get lost why you people are behind me. Many times I called to customer care I told you my problems but you people are not listening. No one called me regards to my problem only they want their payment. They are not bothered about customer. Really it’s true that you people misbehave me.
    Is this the way to talk with customer?
    After all this do you think I will pay your entire amount?

      Hello,

      This is the third time I am having worst experience with Airtel. Here is the compliant for which I need a proper reply from Airtel.

      I had disconnected my Airtel 3G connection after a dismaying service and wrong billing done by Airtel. I was over billed for R.3749.98/- and by mistake I had made the payment. this was happened in the beginning of 2012 and I have requested airtel for a refund. My request was accepted and Airtel had agreed to make the refund of the excess amount paid by me. I have been following up for the refund for an year now and got no proper response from the customer care team, the only prompt response I got were the "auto replies" to the requests sent to 121.in.airtel.com. While following up with the customer care center two months back I was told that Airtel had already paid the money (by cheque) and as per the customer care department there is no refund pending from Airtel towards settling my claim. This is totally unprofessional as I haven't received any Cheque from Airtel to settle this case as agreed by Airtel and being a reputed telecommunication firm Airtel cant cheat customer like this.

      I need justice here and need my money back.

      Airtel — No proper service and refund delay

      We were planning to take an internet connection so we contacted the Airtel people(Bangalore). They were very interested in the beginning they sent their people the next day of our call to check the whether there is scope of internet connection in our area or not. The same day[protected] we filled the subscriber enrollment form having the SEF number TBLR 0130300. We even paid that guy 500rs as amount which should be paid along with the SEF. For almost a week we didn't receive any calls from the airtel people, after contacting them several time only they told us that connection is not possible in our area and money will be refunded. Till this day they have not refunded the money back to us nor contacted us. We receive a very cold response if we try to contact them. We would like Airtel people to resolve this problem as soon as possible and refund our money.

        Hi,

        I have taken airtel 3G Postpaid plan dougle(ie USB to connect to internet) from Chennai location on Saturday[protected].

        Even after these many dates, they have not activated the airtel 3G modem USB.

        They are postponeing the activation each day. When I token the dougle on[protected], they had promised me it will be activated in 48 hours. I had recoreded the person inform. Now each day I call they are postponing it.


        Airtel Service in Chennai is very poor. I had enjoyed the airtel service in Bangalore, but in Chennai it is very poor.

        I have send lot of mail to [protected]@in.airtel.com and [protected]@airtel.in. But there is no response. Each time I send the mail they they send only automatic mail reply that they will respond in one day but nothing happens.


        The below is the Airetl Agent Details. I have called him many times but each time they are cheating by saying it will be done in 1 day, but nothing happens.

        AirTel — Activation not done

        My wife and myself registered for Airtel postpaid connections with similar numbers (corporate connection). My wife's connection got activated in a day but it did not happen to me even after 4 days. As a last-ditch attempt the Airtel personnel tried to give me a new SIM and asked me to wait for 3-4 hours. It did not help!

        I waited patiently for seven hours before going to the Airtel showroom near our house. They couldn't directly help but said they would call up the corporate personnel. After a lot of time delay (since no one was picking up the phone), we got connected to a person who mentioned that he'll try his best to "push my activation up the queue in some server" - something which they had been trying since a day.

        I waited again till EOD as he had requested and even till today (4 days since we had requested for connection activation) nothing has been done; to make matters worse I've already cancelled my existing connection with BSNL believing in Airtel! I spoke to this person, he wanted me to wait again but I told him there's no point in continuing this anymore! The number that never got activated is [protected].

        This whole process has simply left me bitter, esp. considering the fact that this was my second attempt with Airtel (after a couple of years) and my first experience was not much better! Please tell me if I have done something incorrect in this entire episode and if someone can ease my bitterness!

          Relocation problem:

          We have been using Airtel broadband in Chennai for more than a year. We relocated to a new address which is 4 kms away from the previous one. We raised a service request for relocation of Airtel Broadband on 15th June 2:00 PM and they promised to do it with in 5 days i.e before 20th June 2 PM.

          We did not get any call/response from Airtel till now even after calling nearly 10 times in these 6 days.

          Customer care representative says that the service can not be provided and they are not sure about when it can be done. They are directly saying that it can not be done and they are okay when I said I will cancel the service completely.

          Moreover, We are already in the bill period and we will be getting a bill on 12th July of amount Rs. 2300 for not using any data.

          Airtel Broadband — BAD SERVICE

          WE HAVE BEEN A GOOD PAYING CUTOMER OF AIRTEL VARIOUS SERVICES AT OUR OFFICE. ON 6TH SEP OUR AIRTEL BROADBAND CONNECTION STOPPED WORKING. OUR WHOLE BUSINESS DEPENDEND ON THAT CONNECTION. AFTER CONSISTANT EFFORTS ON 7TH OUR COMPLAINT GOT BOOKED UNDER COMPALINT NO.37326470. IN AFTER NOON ENGINEER VISITED OUR PLACE ANFD INFORMED THAT THERE IS SOME PROBLEM FROM AIRTEL EXCHANGE END AND WILL BE RESOLVED IN NEXT 2 HOURS. BUT THAT 2 HOURS GOT EXTENDED TO 3 DAYS EVER HOUR WE HAD TALKED AT CUSTOMER [protected]@121. AFTER REPEATED COMPLAINTS AT VARIOUS LEVELS WE GOT ONLY FALSE COMMITMENTS ONLY. FOR THAT 4 DAYS OUR BUSINESS GOT WORST EFFECTED AND MORE THAT THAT WE WE MENTALLY TOURCHERED TOO MUCH BY VARIOUS AIRTEL EMPLOYEES. I HAD NEVER SEEN SUCH BEHAVIOUR FROM AIRTEL BEFORE.

          Airtel Broadband — Bas service

          Hello sir,

          I would like to make a request that one of the airtel broad band agent I approached to get a new broadband connection. He took Rs 500/- and get my sign in a plan document(on 28/10/2010) saying that my net will be connected on 31st after that I tried to contact him on 1/11/2010 then he said today it will be connected. Now is he saying that not to call him and he gave me another guy number he said me to call directly to airtel customer care I called him then he is saying that he can't do anything because you don't have application number. I requested him to search my application number by using my name and contact number but he also refused. What should I do agents are not responding to me please help me in this matter.

            I used Airtel Broadband (account Number : [protected]) for several months in Bangalore. I was moved to a different place and couldn't able to pay the bill , hence the line was disconnected in the end of 2012.
            In 23rd January,2013 I got a settlement letter with a subject line (Settlement Letter - [protected]_kk) from Airtel Representative (sent by : a_Mahendra.[protected]@in.airtel.com) in which they kept [protected]@gmail.com and Avinash.[protected]@in.airtel.com in cc, stating an amount of Rs 1850/- as the settlement amount and it is the full and final settlement of my account and thereafter this will be treated as "No Due Certificate". I paid the amount on 30th January,2013 in cash to the Airtel representative and he also gave me the receipt which I still have.
            But I again got a mail on March 13,2013 stating that there is a
            a net outstanding of Rs. 1539 which is not paid from past few months. I replied back to that mail with the scanned copy of my receipt and "Settlement letter". But to my surprise I again got a call from [protected]( Claiming Adv Arjun of Delhi Court) on 28th May,2013 claiming that there is a case registered against my name in Delhi by Airtel. When I stated him my situation he asked me to go to my nearest Airtel outlet before 2 PM and varify my words from Airtel representative over there which I did accordingly. At that time he said it's a mistake from their side and the case has been dropped. Again today 20th June,2013 I got a call from [protected](claiming Sandeep from Delhi court) and stating that there is a outstanding amount in my name and again stating there is a case registered in my name in Delhi. Any help with this regard to close this matter would be highly appreciated. Please advice and help. Calls/threats such as this causing havoc in my working life and as well as creating mental stress.

            Airtel Broadband Line — mentaly harrasment

            Dear Sir,
            I use my broad band line no [protected] of Airtel. in January. In Feb. I submit request for disconnection. And submit application again and again, Now i submit local airtel office received instruments in june july. Local airtel office asure me connnection disconnection. Today 06Sept.2010, i got airtel call again for submittion of payment. And payment increased month by month. please help me.

            I have all audio proof from airtel calls and customer care office from local office .

            AIRTEL INTERNET — Mental Harassment

            After suffering from pathetic internet services i decided to call it off & paid a sum of around Rs 3402 as net settlement.An executive came & collected the amount in exchange he gave me the net settlemet letter on company's letter head.I asked for the receipt to which the executive replied that the net settlement will serve the same purpose.

            After few days i started receving repetetive calls saying your bill is unpaid.
            One executive is after my life calling me minimum 6-7 times a day.I don't know whether it is part of her Jo or what but i am suffering a hell lot because of their process.

            Airtel broadband internet — Mental harassment

            that i am having Airtel broadband internet connection.in the month of October 2010 my internet and landline was not working for more than 6 days (between1-14oct).i made complaint so many times with Air tel customer care regarding not working of internet and land line phone but each time they gave me false promise that airtel internet is not working in whole punjab and chandigarh region becouse of some technical problem in exchange.i paid all my dues and requested that i am not keen interested in air tel and i am shifting it to BSNL so kindly close or wind up my airtel account .Next day i got a call from some senior executive of airtel and requested me to dont close AIRTEL Broadband &landline service and promised me to give monthly plan equal to BSNL .and promised me that waiving off late fee charge of around rs 220, he also promised me that if i pay 1500 hundered in advance than one wi-fi ll be given to me and this 1500 hundered ll be adjusted in next two billing circle.i called more than 50 time airtel customercare but till date they are not in position to sort out my grievances.i talked with Momita (ref no[protected]Swati refrence no 40502250,Preeti,Ankurand many more and now again my broadband and landline is not working from 3 rd december 2010.

            i ll file a proper complaint in Disst Forum(consumer court) so that you ll see consequences of making innocent customers fool.

              My mobile number is [protected] (Airtel , Haryana) , from 18th june morning am not being able to make or receive any call at all, all i hear is a message that my number is temporarily suspended, from that day onwards i have sent more than 4 e-mail to customer care/ appellate authority, and none of them is of any use, all they say is " I DON'T KNOW , IT IS SHOWING EVERYTHING RIGHT IN THE SYSTEM , WE ARE FORWARDING YOUR COMPLAINT" i have called a customer care/ appelate authority from other number as well, wasted more than 30-40 Rs of balance, but of no use, And also went to ARC in my city, they too have no damn idea, I Ask them reason , they say they don't know, it might take 72 hours more. Who the heck will bear the losses i am incurring due to some fault in their system.??

              Airtel — My number is suspended without any information

              Hi,
              I am using prepaid num [protected] since last 5 months, and yesterday my num suspended without any further intimation, although i have balance in my account. when i have called to Customer Exec(Amit Bansal) told me that it is due to the improper documentation.
              But I want to know, what they doing when i am using this num from last 5 mon, also atleast they have to give me call or some intimation ragarding document. Also he told me that my num will started after new documentation, now i have faced a huge problems since my num is suspended without any intimation..
              Now i don't want to continue...also i am currently i am using other 2 Airtel num..i will stop to use that airtel num...and will use mobile services other than airtel

                  I was using the Airtel prepaid service for past few years.. One day there is a call received from Airtel Executive stating that there are several benefits by switch over from prepaid to post paid interims service with the same expenditure which is accruing approx Rs 300 as prepaid.

                  Dynamic Credit limit : Rs 500
                  Date of activation : 27-Mar-2013
                  Date of bill Generation : 12 Apr 2013
                  Amount of Bill : Rs 4628

                  I had very good experience with prepaid service for past many years and felt that it will be good to switch over to post paid as explained by Airtel executive.

                  At the time of contacting airtel executive towards post paid migration from prepaid, I thought of switch over to post paid after one month due to following reasons

                  • I already recharged Internet data of 2GB few days back
                  • I already recharge 300 SMS pack
                  • There is talk time balance,,

                  However Ariel executive suggested migrate to post paid immediately as I am not going to loose any benefit of prepaid charge and assurance made following assurance made.

                  • Data of 2GB provided first month bill and there won’t be any additional changes for GPRS usage till 2 GB for first month bill
                  • Left over talk time balance will get transferred from prepaid balance to post paid balance.


                  Based on the assurance given by Ariel executive, I agreed to migrate to post paid and submitted concerned documents on 23th Mar 13 and activated the connection on 27th Mar 13.


                  Surprisingly I got the first month bill for 12 days only with the bill amount of Rs 4628.

                  Airtel post paid service is cheating the customers with wrong promises and putting in the loop of getting higher GPRS changes without customer knowledge..

                  Towards GPRS usage they have charged Rs 4418.00for the usage of less than 1 Gb.
                  As per the bill used only 0.674 GB ( 707260 kb) and calculated as per the prorate basis for 12 days eligibility data.

                  I would have happy used my 2Gb data which was already charged at the time of connection which was cost around Rs 250..


                  My concern is
                  1. Neither they have put 2 GB data plan nor they have transferred the 2GB data as promised by Airtel executive. Instead they have transferred only Rs 280 amount towards 2GB internet of prepaid change to facilitate them to make higher bill. I have made several mails and it has not resolved yet.

                  2. When there is a dynamic credit limit of Rs 500, why there is no intimation and also why it is allowed to use beyond the limit.
                  According to TRAI Act 1997 - Credit Limit for post-paid subscribers, when the usage of the subscriber reaches the credit limit set a notice is given and a time limit is given for making payment lest the services are debarred. On the failure of the subscriber in making timely payment or the usage exceeding the credit limit, the services are barred. My connection was neither barred nor did i get a call from Airtel on reaching my credit limit, which is really shocking.

The credit limit assigned to your account is modified at regular intervals on the basis of your usage pattern, payment pattern and tenure on the network. Also, we wish to inform you that the credit limit benefit is always beneficial for the customer so that he can make more usage and did not get any interruption in his services. airtel regrets the inconvenience you have experienced in this regard.We hope that we have been able to assist you suitably.


                  3. Customer can not anticipate charges towards GPRS at any point of time for Airtel Post paid.
                  Airtel people are taking advantage of this gap to generate huge amount towards GPRS and I feel they are indirectly cheating many of the Airtel post paid customers like this.


                  Final results
                  1. I have already paid the all bill amount except the excess bill generation
                  2. My number has got disconnected
                  3. Also threatening me to pay the Due amount, otherwise they are saying that my other airtel connections which currently using by my family will be disconnected.

                  Airtel Postpaid Connection — Over Charge For Using Internet

                  I was using an Airtel Connection from July 07 till Dec 07. The company over charged me Rs.3000 (approx.) for using internet services. Firstly, I never asked them to activate this internet plan on my connection but they just did it and informed me that I can go ahead using unlimited internet for just Rs.99 per month, so I thought ok lets use it. At the end of the month they send me a bill of Rs.6400 (approx.) and then they justify it by saying that I’ve used a wrong gateway. Now this is something very technical. I should have used Mobile Office instead of Airtel Live as a gateway for accessing internet. Now how do a common man should know about it because the company sends us the internet settings and we just have to save it as it is and start using it, at least that's what they say.
                  After this whole episode I ran after them, from their call centres to their offices to everywhere just to settle my bill but they just refused to do that. They asked me to write me a mail, I did that also but nothing happened. It took me about 15 days to get a new connection and for those 15 days the loss of time, my duties, the stress and humiliation was unbearable, but I managed to overcome.
                  Now, after nearly four months passed, the company gets back to me they threat me abuse me and not only that, they've started calling my friends and family and misbehaved with them also. I m still saying I'm ready to pay the amount which is liable but they are not in a mood compromise as they are still overcharging me.
                  Sorry i forgot to mention the considered mobile number i.e [protected]

                  On dated 20th oct 08 I applied for new connection for GPRS at SCO 28 SEC 11 Panchkula (haryana). Issuing agent was
                  Mr. Dheeraj. He assure me that your connection will be activated in 2 hrs but my conncetion was activated on dated 26th
                  oct 08 after giving continuous reminder to mr Dheeraj & to his senior Mr Sandeep & Mr Sanddep Assure me that we
                  will waiver your 5 day amount.
                  Sir, on dated 13 nov 08 my GPRS conncetion was deactivated . Regarding this I complain to mr Dheeraj & Mr Rajesh.

                  there was a message flashing on my number on 04.12.08 that I can get full Rs.444 credit against recharge of Rs.444/-. Hence to avail the benefit I asked two Rs.444/- (total Rs.888/-) recharge from the M/S Raheja Mobiles, Ghaziabad but after e-charge I got amount of Rs.790.32 only i.e. less by an amount of Rs.97.68/-.I also sent a SMS message to No.121 but received no answer.The full credit scheme is available upto 09.12.08.MY MOBILE NO.                   Airtel — MISGUIDED THE CUSTOMER THROUGH SMS

                  ON 11 TH JUNE 2009 I HAVE GOT SMS "Rs53=Rs250 Recharge with only Rs53 and send Rs250 worth FREE Local/STD/ISD/SMS for a period of 30 days.Visit your Airtel outlet to recharge with Rs53 today!"
                  which simple means if you recharge with Rs53 you got Rs250 worth FREE Local/STD/ISD calls and SMS for a period of 30 days.

                  BUT ON 12TH JUNE AFTER RECHARGE WITH Rs53 the customercare executive said that "Sir, this offers only for local STD & ISD calls & sms and u can't make local calls"
                  WHICH CAN'T EXPLAINABLE BY THEIR SMS.THEY JUST MISGUIDED THEIR CUSTOMER

                  My Name is Raj, as took the no from Airtel, where as I am getting a kind of harrasment from the service providers and customer care by ignoreing the complaints.
                  As when I booked the connection from airtel hub hubsiguda hyd, the sale person has given the commitment that there is no chargerges been applicable for GPRS browsing but once I got the bill I came to know that even browsing been charged...for the same I have given no of complaints where i am not getting any resolutions..

                  Airtel — Incorrect Airtel Live Charges

                  Hi,


                  This is a Complaint against Airtel. As i see there are already 9719 complaints registered against this company. Airtel indules in fraudulent means to charge consumers for 'Airtel Live' services, specially when they are on roaming. They have done the same with me and incorrectly charged me large amounts of money inspite of the fact that i have never used Airtel live. I have been raising this complain several times with their customer care, nodal officer and appellate authority.. but these are all useless. Not only should these charges br reversed, but strict measures should be taken against this company so that they do not indulge in such malpractises and harrass consumers.

                  Airtel Postpaid Connection — Incorrect Charges for GPRS

                  Airtel Number - [protected] - For the month of aug 2010, I am wrongly charged for GPRS while I did not even use the services.

                  Since first week of August I was receiving some Internet Browser Upload and Download messages on my airtel number wherein I was not using the services as well. On 7th August I lodged a complaint (Reference no[protected] with Airtel Customer Care for stopping the GPRS services and various message being received by me daily for the Internet Browsed.

                  On receipt of the subsequent bill I found that I was being charged absorbently for the Internet charges. There were number of times the GPRS charges being lieved in the bill on a particular days starting from 1 Aug to 5th August 2010 right from morning 8 to midnite 12, these being the Office working days when no body in such busy world have the time to speak to the family as well, AIRTEL records showed that I was constantly on AIRTEL LIVE. When I personally visited the Customer Centre on 12th Aug 2010, it was informed to me that the GPRS charges was stopped being leived to me since 7th August after I lodged a complaint with them, which proves that the ERROR was on there part. The OTC staff did not provide me with any solution and infact they did not even made an effort to look in to the case. I was asked to speak on 888 wherein I spoke to Mr Nandan Naik (Team Lead for Grievance Department) for approx 45-50 mins. He just kept repeating one thing that I need to pay the bill whatever is the amount as their system was showing such services being used.

                  I tried explaining him but he failed to understand and provide an appropriate solution. At last I made him make a request register with him for the case (Request No 33547435 dated 12.08.2010), in order to get an appropriate solution from an alternate PRO as he failed providing the solution. I really think AIRTEL needs to revamp its customer grievance handling system at the earliest.

                  I would really want a solution over my problem as I am not ready paying of[censored]nnecessary charges being levied on me.

                  all most all mobile networks in india is very big fraud...they r taking unecessary money without giving any proper reason...if we complaint to customer care means...simply tell telling that they don't no...

                  Airtel — Credit of amount from prepaid to postpaid migration

                  My Name is Vikas Kumar and i am using Airtel Mobile No. [protected] since November 2008.and last week i had migrated from Airtel prepaid to Airtel post paid servicess.
                  On the same day of migration i rechaged my number with Rs. 99 plan of Airtel, in which they having full talk time value.
                  But during the credit of old balnce from prepaid account to post paid account, Airtel prepaid credit only Rs. 7.16/- while this should be > then Rs. 90/-
                  When i inquired with airtel post paid section they replied that they can't do any thing, i have to enquire with prepaid section, when i aproch with prepaid section they told that your balance would be in a different account so are unable to switch this account with main account, and said sorry with no solution of giving my money.

                  I want to ask with airtel company that i don't have personal accont with airtel only airtel having so much accont for balance, then why they are unable to give me the money ?

                  And i want to know from airtel if they can take the money then why they are unable to give back the money, ultimately costomer is giving the money to Airtel ?

                  Please register my compalint againt Airtel for frauding with costomers.

                  Hi,

                  I have taken a airtel broadband connection on 3 Aug 2011 and they(Airtel) are genrate bill on 10 aug 2011 of Rs. 819 for 7 days i have plan of 649/Month 3 GB. i have hardly used 600-700 Mb in thes 7 days and they are showing more than 3 GB that are totally unfair. I have compained so many times on airtel customer care about my issue of extra charges added but they dont give any proper respose to me. please provide me solution of this problem.

                    The services of airtel have become terrible. I ordered for new broadband conection. And my number was distributed to I don't know how many agents. I received calls from atleast 10 agents (they call themselves partner of airtel and claims that they are directly from the airtel office) everyday. One of them came to my office( I checked his Airtel ID card) I gave them documents (he charged Rs 100 also for that) and...

                    I am in very big tension and badly disappointed by Airtel and badly in big tension and mentally disturb.Big company but cheap people working and doing nonsense activity for recover the bills.

                          I work for HP Global Soft chennai and I had taken HP Corporate Plan - Post Paid connection from Airtel almost 6 years back. Mobile number from Airtel is +91 [protected].

                          Since April 2013, Airtel Customer Service person started calling me and telling that I have not paid the bill since February 2013. I replied saying that I have made the payment through Citibank Co. Ltd Online payment till April 2013. To one customer service representative I gave the online transaction details completely on the call.

                          Still, they continued calling me for non-payment inspite of I repeatedly telling them about my payment details since February 2013. As requested by them, I had sent them the bank statement and online transaction details highlighting the transactions details to Airtel through email addressed to Airtel billing section ([protected]@in.airtel.com) dated May 28, 2013. For this, I got an other reply asking for payment details again... I got irritated and sent them an email asking them to verify my bank statements and online transaction details in which i have highlighted the airtel payment transaction details for their convenience and again attached the details in the same email. For this I never got a reply. Instead they kept calling me for non-payment as usual.

                          Next time when they called, they asked me for a Bank Debit certificate. Again I called up citibank and validated that the transactions have indeed gone to the Airtel merchant and the citibank representative told me that its now on the Airtel company to verify the transaction with their bank.
                          Citibank said they are not in a position to give something called Bank Debit certificate.

                          With that, they stopped my outgoing calls and handed over the payment details to their Collection agent. The collection agent kept calling me for 2-3 times and finally they deactivated my SIM from June 10, 2013.

                          All this has happened inspite of the fact that I am a customer with Airtel for 6 years and have been paying regularly through Citibank online payment. I have to tell you that their customer service is so poor and never mind to take the concerns of the customer and never do a proper validation from their end.

                          I request you to kindly take appropriate action against this Airtel Company.

                          Dear Consumers

                          I and my entire family is subscriber was Air Tel subscriber for quite some time. I got my airtel converted to prepaid after using for more than 2 years approx. During my connection as post paid and prepaid I has submitted documents and duly verified by company officials.

                          After one year my cell was discontinued stating reasons that my documents are not proper. I once again submitted my documents after two days cell started working.

                          Once again my cell has been discontinued with the same reasons “My documents are not proper”. I once again submitted documents. More than 24 hrs have passed still not connected. When called help line they say more 24 hrs are required.

                          I am irritated with Airtel company for arbitrator disconnection my cell. It is simple harassment to customers especially pre paid ones. It is my challenge to Airtel if they are company of repute let them show what documents are wrong.

                          Company should have thought before completely disconnecting cell phone at least allow incoming call for sometime like BSNL land lines.

                          My sincere suggestion to airtel new customers please take acknowledgement of all letters/documents given to Airtel office so you are not harassed.

                          I hold an airtel mobile post paid connection and after paying my bill on the exact date and having the cheque been debited in the bank account, airtel had disconnected services to the mobile connection. they had sent a letter after one and a half months saying that they had wrongly credited the amount to someother account and they had reversed the account after one and a half months. all these days my mobile's outgoing was barred and the later bills are pending for payments now. i had written to the airtel authorities for the compensation of the line even after making payment for which they are dead ear and they promptly send their collection agent to my home for the pending dues. the worst ever customer service is provided by airtel mobile only in india. i still claim that i should get a waiver for the mistake what airtel had made and for the inconvenience caused in communication to me.

                          Bharti Airtel — Disconnection inspite of payment made

                          Dear Sir/Ma'am,

                          I wish to report that Airtel is the worst service provider and inspite of having a customer care unit - there is no CARE being shown.

                          Last week of August , I called up there customer care unit to inform on non-reciept of bill for month of Jul -Aug.I was assured that bill would be send by first week of September.

                          Meanwhile I got almost three to four calls everyday for payment and all the time the customer care executive was informed that bill was not recieved by me.

                          Dtd 17sep , I wrote e-mail to customer care mail-id. I recvd sms over phone 17sep evening that my outgoing services would be withdrawn .18sep I wrote a mail to appellate officer for same issue.

                          dtd 18sep outgoing calls were stopped . 21Sep, I got call from Ms Aarti Handa on same matter and my outgoing was made active.Also was assured that bill wd be send within 05 working days. Again 25sep my outgoing calls were stopped. I wrote to Ms Aarti on non -reciept of bill .

                          Dtd 29Sep, outgoing calls were made active.

                          Dtd 29 Sep , bill was recieved and payment was send by courier to the Circle office mentioned on bill ->Okhla Industrial Area , Phase I , New Delhi.This was informed by mail as well to Ms Aarti.

                          Dtd 05Oct, even my incoming calls were stopped and SIM was made inactive.

                          This is pure harassment from the service provider.

                          Airtel Mobile Service — Disconnection of service

                          Without informing me, they have disconnected my other number, even though I have paid all the bills on time. Contacting customer care, they informed me to go to the gallary.If the number is not issued to anyone else, they can issue it back to me. How come they can disconnect my mobile number? This is the worst kind of service I have come across any Service provider. I am totally disappointed with Airtel Mobile Service.

                          i have ported my mobile number [protected] from BSNL to Bharti Airtel before 3 months in this month company had disconnected my mobile services atleast 10 times saying about non submission of documents i have complainted several times to company but have have too much customers so they dont listen kindly help
                          Even I have bitter experiences with Airtel in just changing my mobile plan. Its disgusting to speak to the customer care representatives. They will have a standard way of replying that their system has some problem & will ask us to call later. They wont call us back. we will have to wait in the call for long to get it connected. Once I asked them for a change in mobile plan & they asked me to find out the number which has similar plan so that they can do it for me. It was so funny reply though. Its their duty to take care of what the customer requests for. Instead they will delegate their task to find the details needed.

                            I m Ramavtar yadav your regular customer from 4-5 months this complaint is regarding to my postpaid airtel plan. sir i have been regularly paying all the bills and i also has the receipts of all the bills. i have been paying all the bills on time, but in January when i had gone to the sanjay place airtel postpaid office for disconnecting my connection when i asked to them they handed me a bill of rs 18000 which was in pending. this problem continued till may. i selected the plan of rs 950 in which i was said that i will get 6 GB 3g data and rest of 2g unlimited.l sir i am a student i have suffered a lot both mentally and financially i m just a student nd these people are troubling me a lot. last month my bill was steeled in 2100 full and finally and i was told that i will recessive the NOC regarding my bill with in a week but when i went there i found out that my bill still costs 3500. i am fed up of all this running after to the airtel offices. i have all the proofs against them. i hope u'll look in to this matter and response to it as soon as possible.

                            i had a post paid connection from airtel for last two years . but after using for such long time i found that they are giving huge post paid bill even i didn't talk much.i made a call to customer care for its disconnection but they didn't did that and their works continues. after two month i break thse sim card and getes my phone diconnected .after 2 months i got a call from customer care that i have a due of rs 2200for for that i had argument with regarding this finally it was decided that i should pay rs 1500 which i did but within a month of depositing i again gets call from their lawyer that i have a due of Rs 723. now what i should do its a case of cheating from their side .

                            AirTel — complaint regarding Bill

                            Dear Sir / Madam,

                            This is regarding an Airtel Bill for which me and family have been
                            tortered.

                            Actually, previously I was using Airtel postpaid connection for Testing
                            purpose for Motorola Gurgaon . My number was [protected] . This number was
                            on my ID but all bills given by my company (Motorola) only. I closed this
                            number in 1st week of Dec-08 . My bills were clear at that time ..
                            After that in month of Jan-09 i got a call from Airtel side "That your
                            number ([protected]) is good and ur all bill was clear so pls start ur
                            number again". for which i denied the offer.

                            But since then, everymonth I get a call frm Airtel side that your
                            outstanding bill is 76 thousand . and you are in our diffaulter list. I
                            explained him all these things which i am writing in this mail and also
                            gave my Motorola manager's number who is responsible for bill payments.
                            But even after this, every month I get the call from Airtel and everytime
                            get a call from new one. If i unable to pick the phone, you people call my
                            family mambers which is indeed a torture
                            I am totally sick of it.

                            Kindly revert with the solution of this problem else I need to contact
                            Consumer court for this.

                              I was using Air Tel Postpaid connection no : [protected] .
                              I requested several times to close this sim since December 2011 because I shifted to another place .
                              But,no one is hearing to me.
                              I have called to customer care at least 20 to 30 times, but no authentic answer is given to me .
                              Since, Last 3 months whenever I call to customer care and talk to supervisor they tell that
                              It is our fault and we will clear it within 24 hours and you dont need to pay anything.
                              But nothing is done .

                              I am mentally harassed.Every month they send me the new bill including Late fine and GPRS charge which
                              I am not using .

                                Hi,

                                I am Rajesh user of Airtel Digital TV and my customer id is [protected].
                                From past 5 days(from 15.06.2013) i am not able to view channels, it is displaying "No signal : B001".
                                From last 4 days i am calling customer care number [protected] and they keep on generating new request id each time, instead of resolving the previous request id's.
                                Each time they say that the problem will resolved within 24 hrs and without fixing the problem they close the request id.
                                If the problem is not resolved then on what basis are the request id being closed?
                                No technician has called to my mobile number till date.
                                Even had mailed the problem to [protected]@in.airtel.com but no response yet.
                                When will be the probelm resolved?

                                AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — Closing of my complaint without resolving problem

                                I have called Airtel Digital TV Customer Care five times since last week, and I have logged two complaints regarding one problem. My complaint no's are 4102730 and 4118207

                                My both complaint has been closed without resolving any problem.

                                I am very much upset with the services, there is no use of logging any complains as it fells into the deaf ear. My both complains has been closed without intimating me and no body bothers to call back regarding the problem.

                                I Think I have taken wrong decision by choosing the Airtel digital TV. MY details are given below

                                Airtel DTH — Worst service provider

                                I am having problem with audio video signal ( error message shows "No Signal) from 18Nov10. My account number is [protected].
                                The first complain was made on 20Nov10 (refrence # 4535575) and the customer care had informed me that the Engeneer will be visiting my place at 3:30pm on 21Nov10 but no one had visited my place to resolve the issue on 21Nov10, but I received an SMS that the issue has been resolved (this is a case of frodulent activity by the provider).
                                Another complain was made on 21Nov10 and informed the customer care about the wrong resolution message from the provider (reference # 4546851) and I was informed that engeneer wil be visiting my place on 22Nov10 to resolve the issue but unfortunately no body had visited my place on 22Nov10.
                                The issue with my video signal is still persisting and I am unable to watch some of the importnat news telecast which effects my business.
                                I think such behavior from a service provider like Airtel is not at all accaptable.

                                This is Rajat Kumar from Huawei Telecommunication the organisation which is handling airtel 3G project across karnataka,A poor airtel post paid and airtel digital TV customer.I have requested for reinstalling my digital airtel tv on last friday dated 25/03/2011.Already called customer care at least 25 timesUnfortunately still waiting for your engineer to come and install.Everyday i am calling to airtel customer care and getting same answer that engineer will come today but no engineer came to me.This is really a painful situation
                                and will lead to get some other DTH services on 29th march also i called up customer care number and spoken to Miss Anila from Bangalore and she ensured me for the resolution till morning,but problem yet to resolve.I missed all my important matches including final,This is quite unprofessional behaviour from customer care executives.Revert back with the appropriate solution.


                                This is the worst experience I had as i'm using airtel services since past 3 years.thse incident will lead to change some other customer oriented operator.Request you to return my money with which i rechared my airtel digital.

                                I have airtel digital TV services having customer ID [protected].My service is not working from last 7 days and I have called approximately 27 times to customer care and local engineer,everytime they are telling new story.After 7 calls one engineer came and said set up box is not working and changed the set up box,then said current is not passing from TV to antenna and changed wire also.After that he said u ve to call customer care to activate the service and it will be activated in 15 min.And now it's been more than 2 days ,still my services are not activated.Mean time I ve called 5 times and every time they are saying a new thing and promised me to be solve in 20 mins,sometime in 1 hr...like that.I am really frustrated and harassing customer.Please take action on it.

                                MADE A VERY BIG MISTAKE TAKING AN AIRTEL DIGITAL TV CONNECTION. ITS THE THIRD TIME I CALLED THEM FOR THE SAME PROBLEM (SAYS TRYING TO DOWNLOAD NEW SOFTWARE AND IT DOES NOT, DUE TO WHICH SYSTEM RESTARTS EVERY 10 MINUTES) IN A SPAN OF 5 MONTHS. THE PREVIOUS TIME THE ENGINEER CAME HE SAID IT WAS THE SAME PROBLEM FOR MANY CUSTOMERS AND THEY HAVE TO UPDATE EVERY SYSTEM MANUALLY. HE ASSURED ME THIS WILL NOT HAPPEN AGAIN.

                                WELL GUESS NOT, SO HERE WE ARE AGAIN WITH THE SAME PROBLEM, ONLY THIS TIME I CALL THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THE GUY JUST DISCONNECTS THE CALL AFTER LISTENING TO ME. I CALL BACK AGAIN AND ASK TO SPEAK TO A SUPERVISOR, AND ONLY AFTER GETTING REALLY ANGRY DID THE GUY TRANSFER TO HI SUP.

                                WELL THE SUPERVISOR SAYS THAT IT WILL BE SOLVED WITHIN 24 HRS AND IF A ENGINEER COMES I HAVE TO PAY Rs100/- FOR NO FAULT OF OURS. THEY GIVE A FAULTY SETUP BOX (AS CONFIRMED BY THEIR OWN ENGINEER) AND THEN ASK US TO PAY FOR EVERY TIME THEY VISIT. THIS IS RIDICULES. SO I GUESS THIS IS THEIR WAY OF MAKING MORE MONEY.. BY GIVING FAULTY EQUIPMENT AND THEN CHARGING THE CUSTOMER FOR EVERY VISIT.

                                  I have not been able to access my broadband for more than 7 days on a trot. My fixed line number is[protected].

                                  I have taken a plan of 8 Mbps for which I need to pay around 1700 Rs. per month. I am continuously calling Airtel customer care to report complaints an d problem. But yet there is no resolution to it.

                                  This is not the first time this has happened. Last month as well I was unable to access internet for 10 continuous days.

                                  I have explained thousand times to airtel members that I need continuous Internet access as I operate my office work from home. Not only that I have escalated this matter to Appellate team too but only to receive false assurance.

                                  Airtel Internet Broadband — Non Connection of Line

                                  It's been over three weeks since the Airtel people came to my house and took all relevant documents with Rs 250 as connection amount for a Broadband connection. I was told that the connection would be made in 2 to 3 working days.

                                  I spoke to the salesman who came to my house. He put me on to his Boss - somebody by the name of Santosh. This fello informed me that there was no cable till my building and hence the delay.

                                  What is surprising is that they can come and collect the documents and money without knowing that the building does not have their cable.

                                  I have been trying Santosh's number ever since. 90% of the time he does not pickup. Last time I spoke to him which was more than a week ago, he got somebody else on a conference call and I was assured that the connection would be made in latest 2 days!!!

                                  2 days has lapsed into over a week...

                                  Day before yesterday, I received a call from a fresh telesales caller from Airtel asking me to take a connection. When I told her about what has happened with me, she asked for the plan I had taken. It was a Rs 600 plus plan that I had asked for. To my utter surprise, this girl tells me to take Rs 999 plan and that she will ensure that my connection is made immediately.

                                  What is going on??? Is Airtel duping people? First their people come and take money. Then they do not provide the connection. Thereafter, they do not respond to calls. And lastly, you get a fresh call from their sales department to upgrade the plan which will ensure immediate connection...

                                  I had thought Airtel was a professional company. However, now I know...

                                  Amy airtel landline is not working from 9th July and I logged complaint with Airtel on 9th July.

                                  From last more then 10 days I am following up with customer care, every time I call them I get the same answer that the issuewill be resolved in next 24 hrs, but till now there is no luck.                                   I an an Airtel Broad band and Fixed line coustomer. My Phome numbner is [protected]. My connection is not working from past 3 to 4 weeks. I am totally unsatisfied with the service provided by Airtel. The issues are not yet resolved. I almost called customer care more than 15 times with this regard. I raised 4 complaints till now, even with out resolving or calling me, they are closing the complaints their own. 280778, 3412942, 4051424 are the few complaint numbers i raised in one month. I wrote to appellate and nodal authorities, all i am getting is an automated reply from them. Is there any place where i can get a resolution?

                                  Airtel Internet Broadband — Indifference

                                  I see from complaints posted on this site that Airtel have problems in India. This would explain the cynicism behind their expansion to countries like Zambia where consumer awareness is lower, poor service is easier to get away with, and indifference to genuine complaints results in total frustration for people who only want reliable communication. In Zambia, your "flagship" telecoms operator is rapidly acquiring a reputation for shoddy service and rude response to complaints - strangely enough it is also extremely difficult now to reach their home website. Come on, Sunil Mittal, if you can't cut it in India, don't export your rubbish service to other parts of the world - get your act together and offer something that people anywhere will be happy to pay for! Or does philanthropy mean believing that there's one born every minute?

                                    I had submitted a request to relocate the DTH connection 27th May 2013. Since then I am following up but to no use. after initial follow up a gentleman came from AIRTEL DTH & looked like he was not keen to work, but was forced to do the job! On saying we want the installation on the balcony railing, he said I want Rs 800 + wire charges(the actual charge is 250 + rs 12 for extra meter.) We said no need & asked him to connect to his manager, he refused & left. few days of follow up later another gentleman came & said i don't have the special clamp & will come next day. next day his manager( a lady )called & made many excuses saying that clamp is difficult etc. some more days passed by & on escalation to the nodal officer a gentleman( sales manager?) called & said will close the issue next day, but its still 5 days of followup & no resolution.
                                    All this while i keep getting calls daily form AIRTEL Delhi asking if the issue is resolved!! cant they see in the system? on more followups i get to know that the local technician has closed all the request saying customer is not contactable?

                                    am really sorry to have picked AIRTEL DTH, they are a bunch of cheats & liars

                                    Airtel DTH — cheating & delayed services

                                    I took connection for 2 tv ultra pack annual (deposited more than Rs.8000 in advance ) was promised that my connection will be installed within 48 hrs.
                                    on same day I got the sms saying that my installation has been scheuled after 16 days & that too is unsure as our engineer is very busy . despite calling customer care several times(Mr. md Atar ) I was told that there is nothing I can do as they are overworked .
                                    this is despite being promised an installation within 2 days at most. There is no one to hear , total fraud people just want your money.

                                    Airtel DTH — Delay in connection

                                    Hello,

                                    My Name is Taher Ahmed and i have purchased an Airtel DTH connection through phone.
                                    The DTH request number is 16069343 and the Customer Id given to me is [protected]. The assurance for installation i got was 48 hours but it has been 5 days and i have not received a phone call from any local dealer. I want to know what is the current status of my request as i have invested my 4000 Rs into it.
                                    Also the problem is there is no local contact of any Airtel representative, the customer care only gives false assurance that you will receive a call in 1 hour. But i haven't received any call.

                                    Myself Diganta Guhathakurta,owner of the Air tel connection,numbered [protected],declaring that the false complain was made in this complain section as the number is lost and the mobile was lost etc.I am confidently speaking that I am using this number without any barrier.,To me.It is really embarrassing and harassing m.So,I am requesting that without detailed investigation and authentication,dont entertain the baseless and false statements.
