[Resolved]  Airtel — Airtel not letting me port with lame reasons for the 5 th time.

Dear consumer complaints sir, SUB:(Airtel playing dirty games with customers trying MNP away from Airtel, Airtel should be sued for this mischief ) I had applied for mobile number portability on my Airtel Number [protected] to Aircel on 26th Sept 2012 and the Unique Porting ID was AL346319.Today is 4th October 2012, which means I had passed the 7 days after submission of the porting papers at Aircel office along with my photo (that is very clear) and the same drivers license copy as ID proof and my own signature and the same address. Till date Airtel had not switched me to Aircel network. I am very frustrated about this and would like Airtel to be sued for disregarding customer concerns. This is not the first time that Airtel is cheating on me with many irrelevant reasons. I had submitted for mobile number portability almost 5 times now and Airtel had rejected all that. That is the reason why I am writing a complaint to Airtel and consumer complaint sites for the public to see what Airtel is up to these days. Airtel has all sorts of ill practices like fraud calls, fraud biling, call disconnect by customer care executives and very slow Internet and poor service. I want you guys to help my [protected] to be on Aircel network at the soonest and sue Airtel for their own malpractices.

OUAT — Cheating by airtel

I converted my airtel mobile service to super life by paying Rs 999/- on 18.11.2007. But in the message it is coming that my service will expire on August, 12, 2010. I got no satisfactory answers from dealers. Frequently, advertisements are coming for Airtel super life up to 2024 only by paying rs 999/-. many customers have done this and same expire date of 2010 are coming. Why such false advertisements and cheating by airtel authorities?

Airtel — FAILURE TO PORT IN EVEN AFTER 12 DAYS

Dear Madam/Sir
1. I had applied for MNP from Reliance CDMA to Airtel and the porting code RR132195 was given to me on 1st February 2011. As on today 20th February 2011 my mobile number [protected] has not been ported in to Airtel’s network.
2. A complaint docket number [|BAL|[protected]|[protected]|] was allotted to me on 15th February 2011 but even after 12 days of the allotment of porting code my mobile number [protected] has not been ported to Airtel.

Airtel — ignorant & illiterate billing department.

I have a land line connection with number 47014289. On 15/12/2010 i had applied for IPTV connection by paying Rs.1750/- cheque no. 451379, dt. 15/12/2010, HDFC bank. Within some days my IPTV was installed by the agency boy. But the very next day it went off. Imade many complaints, I even have some complaint registration numbers with me 43250256 dt.15/02/2010, 43315472 dt. 21/02/2010 , 43334888 dt. 21/02/2010, 43405092 dt. 23/02/2010.

On somewhere around 15/03/2010 my IPTV was reinstalled as the executive told me that they had received a disconnection request by someone earlier.

Anyways now in APRIL 2010 i received a bill for Rs. 2308/- which includes Rs.1750/- as installation charges of IPTV. I made some complaints for my bill and i even have those complaint numbers. I was badly bothered by the calling staff of airtel to pay my dues a large number of times and i had to explain them my whole story repeatedly.
Then one day i was told by a calling guy to pay my balace Rs.558/- and the balance Rs.1750/- will be adjusted. Now my connection has been blocked for non payment.
I am facing a lot of difficulty as my business is suffering due to disconnection of interne. phone and IPTV i am not much bothered about.

Now the same problem is being repeated for my residence connection number i.e.[protected].
I had taken the the IPTV connection by paying Rs.1750/- cash. After filling the form & paying full installation charges i had to cal on many numbers repeatedly for at-least a month to beg for the IPTV connection. Now in my bill for the month of April the same amount Rs. 1750, has been charged again for the installation of IPTV.
I made a complaint but the response is not satisfactory & i am receiving call for the payment without any correction of bill again & again..

And now finally i am expecting you people to disconnect my services very soon for non payment.

Today the date is 12th October 2012. And you guys have not done anything so far. You guys didn't even call me to provide any sort of assistance.
Did you know the life span of a MNP request is 15 days. If you didn't know that by now, it indirectly means that you are not eligible to sit on that grievance seat.
I had provided you all the proper ID proof, a passport size photograph, MNP request number and papers along with my signature every where required. This is not the first time I am submitting the same but the 3rd time.
Are you aware of our Government of India rule that states "MNP should be done within 7 days and a max of 14 days after which, if not done consumer can file an FIR against the Service provider to be brought into trial.
What else do you expect from me as a customer of yours who very much want to get rid of your pathetic service. Do you want me to pay bribes to you to get things done. If so do let me know.
This proves that Airtel and it's people are so very much lazy and ignorant of their responsibilities and duties to serve the customers.
I very much feel pity for the owner of Airtel Mr. Sunil Barthi Mittal for having to appoint such irresponsible and ignorant and lazy people to do the work for his company which once upon a time was the best. Mr. Mittalji times have changed very much now and your employees have destroyed your old name and fame. Now that I am ashamed to recommend Airtel to anyone.
I guess this text reaches Mr. Mittal at least before he dies so that he can clean up Airtel. Otherwise like Apple and Steve Jobs, Airtel will be a old story.
I am so much frustrated because I had been an Airtel customer for so long about 6 to 7 years on that [protected] Airtel number. Ever since 3G arrived, I had never been able to use that on that specific number. My concern started from that day onwards. I called up ur customer care they were interested in disconnecting calls or telling me some gimmicks and hanging up. That is the reason why I emailed you at Airtel presence and fb. There also they started telling me excuses and asking me to wait for a resolution. I wasted not just days expecting it to happen but time and money for 3G recharges. How can Airtel deny 3G to only my specific [protected] number with bad reception when my friend staying close by had 3G.
So at last I ended up trying 3G from a different service providers like BSNL and Aircel. I was amazed by the 3G price and facilities provided by Aircel. Which was the reason why I wanted my [protected] on Aircel network.
Why should I remain on a network like Airtel which not even cares for any issues that I come across from their network. What does Airtel gain out of glueing me on to their network when I never intend to be on their network even if everything they provide is free. I really don't need anything from Airtel other than the port out from Airtel.
I need proper explanation regarding everything from Airtel because the harm that they have done on me is just not forgivable.
I want the full help and support of the post master at this consumer court to take necessary actions against Airtel for bringing this so for.
I just really hate to utter Airtel. So Sir please help me get rid of this bugger Airtel.

My issue raised on 4th October 2012 has not been taken care so far. My issue dated 4th October was regarding a small concern that I wanted to port out from Airtel network and join Aircel. My Airtel number [protected] still remains on your Airtel network till date which means that my issue is not resolved. If any of you lazy Airtel staff has closed my case saying it is resolved doesn't mean that my issue is resolved. If that is not the case you must be an illiterate fellow not good enough to understand my issue in simple English. Airtel must be ashamed of you guys to keep you guys to service their customers.

MY ISSUE IS NOT RESOLVED. I NEED A CALL FROM WHICH EVER PERSON WHO STATED THAT MY CASE WAS CLOSED WITHOUT EVEN CALLING ME ONCE TO KNOW MY CONCERN OR FIX IT.
YOU GUYS ARE BIG TIME CHEATS.
YOU AIRTEL NEVER FIXED MY PROBLEM. I AM STILL ON AIRTEL NETWORK.
