Hi sir,
This is Sunitha from Bangalore.I was having an Airtel Broadband connection from last 2 years.
After 2 years I asked for transfer of connection to different address.It got shifted.
After that I asked for cancellation of Broadband service in the month of February 2012.I paid the total outstanding amount 2779 (Invoice no:[protected] and reference no: 421467 ). and sent an email to airtel stating the same.
I informed the same to customer care too.But they did not cancel the service and keep on generating the bill and yesterday I received lawyer notice for the same.Why should i pay the bill even i informed Airtel to cancel it. Yo can check whether any activity is there in that period of time. Landline number is [protected].

    Dear Sir, I'm serving in Indian Railways, & Railways provided me Airtel CUG sim/mib no. [protected]. on which some value added services i.e. DESI TASHAN, Contest Pack etc. and being deducting amount unauthorized. Sincere efforts were made but nor services were stopped nor amount refunded till. I'm also user of another AirTel sim/mob. no.[protected], which is also in activated by such value added services, which are not requested to activate.
    You are therefore requested to stop/deactivate such value added services and refund an amount deducted on sim/mob. no. 1]. [protected]. & 2] [protected].

    Airtel — no response received regarding deactivation of value added service

    I WANT TO TERMINATE THE SUBSCRIPTION OF A VALUE ADDED SERVICE. BUT EVEN AFTER REPEATED ATTEMPTS I DID NOT RECEIVE ANY RESPONSE FROM THE DEPARTMENT CONCERNED.

    Airtel — Unauthorized service activation and deduction

    Dear concern,
    I am using a Airtel prepaid connection [protected] on 10 Feb 2010 my account balance was Rs.50 but when i checked my balance on 3 Apr 2010 it was Rs.-2.63 when i called airtel customer care executive name Vicky Sharma says there is Matrimonial Alerts acivated from 15 Feb 2010 on my account for which Re.1 is deducting on daily bases till date. However i have not activated any kind of service on my this number moreover i have not made any single call from this number as well from mentioned date i have communicated the non activation of any service from my end but he is not agreed upon the same and not been able to provide any solution nor he was able to provide any request which could justify his clarification for service activation on my request. This is total harrasment and loot everytime any telecom operator activate there VAS services on customer's account without any consent
    i am using my another number right now therefore i stopped using my airtel number but totally shock to see my balance and customer service response over this issue. I request you to do the needful in this manner as i am not the only one who has become the victim of there wrong activity with no regression.

    Airtel — NON STAGE OF VALUE ADDED SERVICES

    I AM BEING CHARGED FOR VALUE ADDED SERVICES ON MY PREPAID TELEPHONE NO [protected] BY AIR TEL WITHOUT MY CONSENT.THEY ARE NOT STOPPING THIS UNWANTED SERVICES IN SPITE OF REPEATED REQUESTS,

    Airtel — unauthorized deduction of amount from past six months

    from the last six months, amount is deducted from my airtel prepaid no.[protected] without any reason. any monthly scheme automatically gets activated every month and a amount of rs.30 is deducted from my balance. other then this everyday minimum of re.1 is deducted from my account. someday upto rs.5 arealso deducted. i have tried de-activating the schemes by calling in customer care but once that scheme gets deactivated some other sc heme strats. on 6/1/2011. i have also tried messaging on *121# but all in vein as the scheme gets activated he next morning. i went to the lokhandwala branch of airtel relationship center and they connected me to the customer care. he said that no schemes wil b activated without my consent n also all nio deductions. but today wen i checked my balance, they r deducting re.1 everyday for some value added service while when m going de-activate the scheme it shows that "no value added service is activated on ur number". then for wat reason are they charging me??? m furiated now.. i want refund of all the money thery have deducted without asking me to start a service.pls do the needful or else ggive me some other solution.

      One of my college friend has been lately receiving calls and messages from an Airtel number.She(my friend) is being constantly harassed by cheap comments from the caller who also happens to a girl.
      She( my friend ) is extremely scared to tell anyone about this.
      The number of the caller is "[protected]".
      I request the concerned authorities to please find out details like name and address of this caller and email me at [protected]@gmail.com and also take necessary action in this regard.

        Hi,

        I had been billed 300 INR for shift of landline that never happened. I cancelled the request for shifting 2 days after the request and they complied with it - nobody came to shift the connection since I cancelled it. But, they billed 300 INR for shifting the landline connection despite no shifting having ever occured.

        Next, I cancelled the connection and they said clearly on the phone that they would not bill me beyond 6th September, although my connection was disconnected on 3rd September. I did not bother since it is just 3 extra days; but, when the bill came, they have billed me until 13th September, which is ridiculous.

        When I send them an email raising these issues, they send me back a reply saying something like, "Your current bill outstanding is Rs. XYZ and you need to pay it before DD/MM/YY". It looks like they never bother to check the complaint and reply and instead simply issue an auto-generated emails in reply.

        How can I get this problem resolved? Though the amount is small, this is making a fool of customers, and I would like to escalate it to whatever level is possible.

          Outgoing calls and smses not working

          I have been an airtel prepaid customer for many years but for nearly 2 months i have not been able to make a single call or sms to any number except 121.
          i have complained many times and many times the complaint according to airtel back office team gets resolved but in reality its the same situation
          then a customer care officer suggested faulty sim..i changed my sim 3 weeks ago but still same problem persists . I CANT MAKE ABY...

            Hi,

            This is to report a charge against Airtel for my prepaid mobile number : [protected].

            From the last two weeks they have been providing me with some kind of waste offers like "Follow vijay" or "Spiritual messages" that charges me a 1.5 to 2 rs a day unnecessarily. While I tried to call the customer care officer, they never pick up the call an never give a damn about hearing to the grievances.

            If this continues I will have to change my SIM for soon, but I hold on doing that as I have some very important contacts and info's in there.
            I would like to report against Airtel for in future they do not play this kind o[censored]nnecessary games to earn profit to their organisation.

                Dear consumer complaints sir, SUB:(Airtel playing dirty games with customers trying MNP away from Airtel, Airtel should be sued for this mischief ) I had applied for mobile number portability on my Airtel Number [protected] to Aircel on 26th Sept 2012 and the Unique Porting ID was AL346319.Today is 4th October 2012, which means I had passed the 7 days after submission of the porting papers at Aircel office along with my photo (that is very clear) and the same drivers license copy as ID proof and my own signature and the same address. Till date Airtel had not switched me to Aircel network. I am very frustrated about this and would like Airtel to be sued for disregarding customer concerns. This is not the first time that Airtel is cheating on me with many irrelevant reasons. I had submitted for mobile number portability almost 5 times now and Airtel had rejected all that. That is the reason why I am writing a complaint to Airtel and consumer complaint sites for the public to see what Airtel is up to these days. Airtel has all sorts of ill practices like fraud calls, fraud biling, call disconnect by customer care executives and very slow Internet and poor service. I want you guys to help my [protected] to be on Aircel network at the soonest and sue Airtel for their own malpractices.

                OUAT — Cheating by airtel

                I converted my airtel mobile service to super life by paying Rs 999/- on 18.11.2007. But in the message it is coming that my service will expire on August, 12, 2010. I got no satisfactory answers from dealers. Frequently, advertisements are coming for Airtel super life up to 2024 only by paying rs 999/-. many customers have done this and same expire date of 2010 are coming. Why such false advertisements and cheating by airtel authorities?

                Airtel — FAILURE TO PORT IN EVEN AFTER 12 DAYS

                Dear Madam/Sir
                1. I had applied for MNP from Reliance CDMA to Airtel and the porting code RR132195 was given to me on 1st February 2011. As on today 20th February 2011 my mobile number [protected] has not been ported in to Airtel’s network.
                2. A complaint docket number [|BAL|[protected]|[protected]|] was allotted to me on 15th February 2011 but even after 12 days of the allotment of porting code my mobile number [protected] has not been ported to Airtel.

                Airtel — ignorant & illiterate billing department.

                I have a land line connection with number 47014289. On 15/12/2010 i had applied for IPTV connection by paying Rs.1750/- cheque no. 451379, dt. 15/12/2010, HDFC bank. Within some days my IPTV was installed by the agency boy. But the very next day it went off. Imade many complaints, I even have some complaint registration numbers with me 43250256 dt.15/02/2010, 43315472 dt. 21/02/2010 , 43334888 dt. 21/02/2010, 43405092 dt. 23/02/2010.

                On somewhere around 15/03/2010 my IPTV was reinstalled as the executive told me that they had received a disconnection request by someone earlier.

                Anyways now in APRIL 2010 i received a bill for Rs. 2308/- which includes Rs.1750/- as installation charges of IPTV. I made some complaints for my bill and i even have those complaint numbers. I was badly bothered by the calling staff of airtel to pay my dues a large number of times and i had to explain them my whole story repeatedly.
                Then one day i was told by a calling guy to pay my balace Rs.558/- and the balance Rs.1750/- will be adjusted. Now my connection has been blocked for non payment.
                I am facing a lot of difficulty as my business is suffering due to disconnection of interne. phone and IPTV i am not much bothered about.

                Now the same problem is being repeated for my residence connection number i.e.[protected].
                I had taken the the IPTV connection by paying Rs.1750/- cash. After filling the form & paying full installation charges i had to cal on many numbers repeatedly for at-least a month to beg for the IPTV connection. Now in my bill for the month of April the same amount Rs. 1750, has been charged again for the installation of IPTV.
                I made a complaint but the response is not satisfactory & i am receiving call for the payment without any correction of bill again & again..

                And now finally i am expecting you people to disconnect my services very soon for non payment.

                If you look at my complaint. You may be able to understand that it was dated 4th October 2012 . Excuse me if I am being rude.
                Today the date is 12th October 2012. And you guys have not done anything so far. You guys didn't even call me to provide any sort of assistance.
                Did you know the life span of a MNP request is 15 days. If you didn't know that by now, it indirectly means that you are not eligible to sit on that grievance seat.
                I had provided you all the proper ID proof, a passport size photograph, MNP request number and papers along with my signature every where required. This is not the first time I am submitting the same but the 3rd time.
                Are you aware of our Government of India rule that states "MNP should be done within 7 days and a max of 14 days after which, if not done consumer can file an FIR against the Service provider to be brought into trial.
                What else do you expect from me as a customer of yours who very much want to get rid of your pathetic service. Do you want me to pay bribes to you to get things done. If so do let me know.
                This proves that Airtel and it's people are so very much lazy and ignorant of their responsibilities and duties to serve the customers.
                I very much feel pity for the owner of Airtel Mr. Sunil Barthi Mittal for having to appoint such irresponsible and ignorant and lazy people to do the work for his company which once upon a time was the best. Mr. Mittalji times have changed very much now and your employees have destroyed your old name and fame. Now that I am ashamed to recommend Airtel to anyone.
                I guess this text reaches Mr. Mittal at least before he dies so that he can clean up Airtel. Otherwise like Apple and Steve Jobs, Airtel will be a old story.
                I am so much frustrated because I had been an Airtel customer for so long about 6 to 7 years on that [protected] Airtel number. Ever since 3G arrived, I had never been able to use that on that specific number. My concern started from that day onwards. I called up ur customer care they were interested in disconnecting calls or telling me some gimmicks and hanging up. That is the reason why I emailed you at Airtel presence and fb. There also they started telling me excuses and asking me to wait for a resolution. I wasted not just days expecting it to happen but time and money for 3G recharges. How can Airtel deny 3G to only my specific [protected] number with bad reception when my friend staying close by had 3G.
                So at last I ended up trying 3G from a different service providers like BSNL and Aircel. I was amazed by the 3G price and facilities provided by Aircel. Which was the reason why I wanted my [protected] on Aircel network.
                Why should I remain on a network like Airtel which not even cares for any issues that I come across from their network. What does Airtel gain out of glueing me on to their network when I never intend to be on their network even if everything they provide is free. I really don't need anything from Airtel other than the port out from Airtel.
                I need proper explanation regarding everything from Airtel because the harm that they have done on me is just not forgivable.
                I want the full help and support of the post master at this consumer court to take necessary actions against Airtel for bringing this so for.
                I just really hate to utter Airtel. So Sir please help me get rid of this bugger Airtel.

                My issue raised on 4th October 2012 has not been taken care so far. My issue dated 4th October was regarding a small concern that I wanted to port out from Airtel network and join Aircel. My Airtel number [protected] still remains on your Airtel network till date which means that my issue is not resolved. If any of you lazy Airtel staff has closed my case saying it is resolved doesn't mean that my issue is resolved. If that is not the case you must be an illiterate fellow not good enough to understand my issue in simple English. Airtel must be ashamed of you guys to keep you guys to service their customers.

                  Hi,
                  I currently have a postpaid number ([protected]) for the past 10 months. A few months back, a women from Airtel called me and offered the same plan for another postpaid connection. I said OK and asked her if it is possible to change my another existing prepaid number ([protected]) into a post paid connection. She said OK and asked for the documents.

                  I submitted the document to the Airtel guys from Nungambakkam office. I provided address proof, ID proof, photos and Rs.400 to them and they gave me the postpaid sim card and told that this would be activated in 72 hours. But it has been more than 15 days and my prepaid sim is still active and it has not been converted to postpaid.

                  I called them last week and they told that they made a mistake and forgot to submit the form I gave them to Airtel. They said, they would do that immediately. But still the postpaid sim hasn't been activated. I tried calling them for the past three days and no one picking up the call.

                  The guy I submitted the form to is Jeya Prakash from Airtel Nungambakkam. His number is [protected]. He is not answering my calls.

                  I called customer care regarding this. After a series of call tranfer, they said they can't do anything about this. Now i lost my money, and for the past few weeks I lost my sleep due to this. So far I had a good experience with Airtel now, this is very frustrating to me. Please someone do the needful.

                    I am having Airtel DTH connection and on some of the channels, it is showing "Airtel" logo at bottom of the channel.
                    Although the logo is somewhat hollow, but it blocks the view especially in case of sports and news channel.

                    I am sure they don't have any right to put logo at first place and even if they have to put it, atleast they shouldn't do it in way that blocks the view.

                        We have submitted our instruments back to airtel representative who came and collected both our landline and modem. Also, according to the airtel policy, they will not take the instruments back if there is any due.

                        They have generated bills after i have submitted my instruments and since have been repeatedly mentally harassed and tortured due to numerous calls that i get from Airtel to pay the bill when there is no due. I would like to petition the government of india to take strict actions against such providers who torture the people and try to extract illegitimate money.

A REQUEST WAS LODGED FOR SHIFTING OF TELEPHONES LINES FROM ONE BUILDING TO ANOTHER HAVING ACCOUNT NUMBER AS 14476614 WITH NUMBERS AS 47050228 AND 47050229 AND REQUEST NUMBER AS 22503208 LAST MONTH, FAILING WHICH HEAVY LOSSES ARE BEING INCURRED BY OUR ORGANISATION.

                          IT HAS BEEN MORE THAN 10 DAYS AND NO ACTION HAS BEEN TAKEN YET, EVERYTIME LAME EXCUSUES ARE GIVEN BY THE OFFICIALS. THE SERVICES ARE PATHETIC IN INDIA AND WE REQUEST THE TRAI TO TAKE SERIOUS ACTION AGAINST SUCH COMPANIES.

                            Today I received a call from +[protected] by Mr. Prashant Singh; executive of customer care Airtel. He was asking me about my last postpaid bill of Rs626 which I have already paid 26th of last month. I was giving him my transaction no as I have paid through net banking; but he was not agree to listen my thing and started abusing me while I am here in my office in a meeting with my co workers. After completing my meeting when I called on the same no; Ms Veda has picked up and telling me that she needs to check who is prashant singh over there and also started to telling me that do not put any complain.

                            My bill was due for airtel broadband from 4 months
                            I paid in two checks -axis bank one of them bounced
                            The collection department started calling up numbers from my bill
                            And started abusing about my mother

                            What can be done now ???

                                I had given a request for cancellation of airtel number: [protected] on 3rd Feb 2012 which I have taken in the name of Palette Architects and Interiors Pvt. Ltd.
                                I was told that I have to pay for another seven more days, as it will take seven days to cancel the service. Next five days i got around six calls asking for the reason to cancellation.
                                I got bill for March 2012 and April 2012. I called your customer care on 17th April 2012 again and raised another request. My request no was 14301466.
                                One executive called me after that and offered me shift this connection to any of my friends and relative for free of cost. I went to Airtel relationship office and came to know that you don't accept Airtel mobile bill as address proof. so i dropped that idea and when the executive called i conveyed the same to him and request him to do the needful to cancel the service.
                                Still bills are getting generated and your executives are calling on a regular basis. I have to explain the whole story to them, next time another executive call and I have to repeat everything to them. This has become a nuisances now. Please do the need full and cancel this connection as soon as possible

                                I have been facing more or less similar issue, i have a reported a complaint here also. Airtel is one of the biggest fraud. I have an Airtel Mobile Connection which i'm planning to port to some other service provider. They take your instruments and ask you to pay the bills which are generated after they take your instruments.

                                    I have ported from BSNL to Airtel postpaid ([protected]) using mobile number portability facility (MNP).

                                    My number was converted to Airtel postpaid on 19 Sept, 2012 and since then I am facing the problems.


                                    My phone worked for a few days and on 22, Sept my outgoing calls are barred. I contacted on Customer Care and was told that the address verification had failed and therefore services had been stopped. I asked the reason for failed address verification but was told that system is only showing failed status.

                                    I fail to understand the reason behind this i reached Airtel customer office ( Swagat Communication, Jodhpur ) from where i purchased the postpaid sim and submit ID proof , photo. They told me that your address verification is negative; instead no one came from airtel for address verification in my home. Then they sad ok i will resume your outgoing calls & they do it and also sad airtel boy will come to your home for address verification. i also booked online complaint for this whose no is PR[protected] which was not yet resolved..

                                    Again after two days they stopped my outgoing calls then again i reached airtel office and sad about this then airtel boy said that the system will automatically stopped your outgoing call and then they rectify this and my outgoing calls starts working.



                                    But again after 2 days this time outgoing as well as my incoming call was barred(mobile shows sim rejected) after this I went to the airtel office several times but they were not at all supportive and neither their customer care helpline DID anything about it. Sometimes they said your address is wrong or sometimes they said your address is out of our service area. I gives some examples of airtel postpaid users which far away (5-6km) from my home address then they said we can't help you.



                                    I said if my home address is out of your service area then you will told me when i purchased the sim and submit the document then they said sorry sir

                                    My cell number is in wide circulation with my clients, colleagues and friends and any change in number will have adverse professional consequences for me.

                                    Please look into the matter urgently

                                    My connection has not been restored despite repeated attempts with
                                    Airtel customer care department.

                                    I’m to say that my incoming & outgoing calls has been barred on 29th September.

                                    My birthday was on 30/9/08 and you had the blocked the number on 29/9/08.

                                    This is Jaideep Nayak from India. I've been using Airtel postpaid connection for the last 3 months. They had barred my outgoing calls due to a slight delay in payment for the previous month. fair enough. On sundat the 8th of Feb 2009 at 9.45 AM I made tghe payment and got an acknowledgement in the form of an SMS. After thet I've called up theirCustomer care 6 times and every time there has been wrong information been given. My outgoin calls have not been activated even after nearly 24 hrs. I even talked to a manager once who soundede sleepy at best . This is just outrgeous to say the least. So much for being the biggest Telecom company in the country.

                                    I purchased a sim(subscribers identity module) on 4th of nov. 2010 and submitted my documents that day itself. Then just the next day my sim was activated. After few days my outgoings were barred, then i re-submitted my documents in airtel showroom at Indiranagar,bangalore. They told me that my outgoings will be activted within 48 hrs . but still it wasnt activated, i called to the customer care they told me to re-re-submit the documents . I re-re-submitted the documents on 19th nov 2010,within 10 minutes they activated my outgoing calls. After few hours then my Incoming calls were barred. I again gave a call to customer care they are now telling me to re-re-re-submit the documents

                                    I am an Airtel customer with mobile number [protected]. I have migrated from postpaid to prepaid. I have submitted all the required documents for migration. After 3 days of activity all my incoming and outgoing calls were barred. Even the incoming and outgoing messages were barred. I have raised a complaint with the customer care and it is 3 weeks now. They didnt resolve this issue. I was fed up calling the customer care. they say that all the settings at their end were fine and they have asked me to do some settings on my mobile. I have tried those settings but in vain. Since my incoming and outgoing messages were also barred, I cannot use the mobile number portability. Is it possible to send an SMS from a different number? If I call customer care different people will attend the call and they ask me to give them some time. My alternate contact number is [protected]. Are these people avoiding mobile number portability by disabling the incoming/outgoing messages/calls? Can you please suggest something to retain this number? Thank you in advance.

                                      I have been using an airtel prepaid number ([protected]) since 5 years. In between for 3 months i stopped using it as i had to go to another state for pursuing my Post Graduation. On 11th Dec 2011, i started using the same number, after working properly for 4 days, it stopped working since 16th. As i did not receive any prior intimation or message from air-tel regarding my number deregistration, i used it for my bank accounts and PAN card which i opened in past 2 weeks. Now airtel people are not giving proper response for my query and I'm being told that i will not get my number back even if I'm willing to use it regularly and pay new activation charges.
                                      As per their rules, they have the right to block my Sim for not using it for 3 months, but why was i provided service for 4 days and even my recharge was accepted during that period. During that period, as i was not informed about the deregistration, i used the same number for my personal accounts from where i may get security code or important data.
