I have been with airtel for a long time. I switched my mobile number from Bsnl to Airtel as i found airtel more beneficial but without my concern my airtel planned has been changed and i am finding it costly . I have complaint many times but no action has been taken and today in the morning automaticly Rs. 25 deducted from my account. plz take the action as soon as possible

    An Airtel salesperson sold me a 3G data card last month saying that I'll get 7.2Mbps bandwidth up to 6GB and beyond that it will come down to 3.1Mbps. He said it was an unlimited plan. I asked him that I couldn't find the same plan anywhere on website, then he said that it is a special offer only for working employees. Even when I spoke to his team leader, he said the same thing. I bought it for 1200/- (device charges) and at a bill plan of 950/- per month.
    I got the same 7.2Mbps speed up to 6GB, but beyond that it reduced to 156Kbps!! When I called the salesperson, I found his mobile switched off. When I contacted the customer support, they said that their agents can't do this. Customer care didn't help too.
    I've been betrayed by Airtel. I will never go with Airtel in my whole life.

    My mobile no. is [protected],yesterday on 28/01/2008 when i recvd the bill where i came to know that my bill amount comes very high ,Actually i take a sms pack on 31 dec.2007 or 1 jan2008 on customer care number and i confirm on the customer care after two day the reply was that sms pack is activated , for the result i start sending the sms as i required as i was in belief that my sms pack is activated the sms will cost me 10 paise but i was surprise that my bill comes to rs. 1657.87 In which SMS charges were for rs. 196/- @ rs. 1/- i was shock where my total bill comes to near by 300-380 per month, and now this bill tell me that i spend rs.196 on my total 196 @ rs. 1 instead of 10 paise .so i request you to please look in this matter and adjust the sms pack @10 paise at an earliest. This type of service i was not assuming from airtel, please send the reply at an earliest.

    I recharge with 25 rs for std its validity for one month the service is for three minute cut one rs but after 10 days this facility is not avilable in my mobile i call to customer care but they does no any thing pls give me reply and solve this issue other wise custumer not belive on airtel they will take IDEA SERVICE

    It’s my painful request to solve out my problem. Sir as I am using Airtel network since many years because of good service and coverage but during a month back when customer had a chance to choose their network of their wish, (Porting). As I had two Airtel connection I preferred to port one of my Airtel to Docomo network. As I done the porting, after a couple of days I got a call from your customer service executive saying that we will give you a better offer if you continue to stay with Airtel. During this conversation even I asked her weather there is any rental or service charges for this offer, where she clearly mentioned that it’s free of cost and nothing will be deducted. But Recently they have started to charge Rs. 1 per day as a service charge which they have not mentioned during the time of our conversation.
    With a great hope I am dropping this letter to you thinking that there will be a positive action against this.

    We have received the message from Airtel regarding Full Talk Time on Rs-200 recharge with unlimited validity. But When I recharge we get only Rs-180.
    When I called to Airtel Customer Care, she was saying that this scheme was only for same day only on which day massaged received, but there was no information regarding this on the message.

    Airtel DTH — wrong information

    I AM A AIRTEL DTH COSTOMER ,MY ID-[protected]. I BELONGS TO ECONOMY PACK . IN THIS PACK CONTAINS STAR JALSA, STAR ANANDA, ZEE BANGLA, ESPN,STAR SPORTS, STAR CRIKET. BUT LAST SIX MONTH I DID NOT SEE THIS CHANELS. YESTERDAY THEY ARE CALLED ME FROM THIS NO [protected] AND TOLD ME THEY WILL PROVIDE THIS CHANNEL BUT I CAN NOT SEE THESE CHANNELS TILL NOW.
    Airtel have mentioned that in Rs. 225 combo recharge we get 9055 free SMS and 10p between A2A, but never mentioned the free SMS between A2A. Retailer also not aware of that. After I recharge and started use only I came to know that only for Airtel 2 Airtel. I am very much disappointed. In Internet also they mentioned the same.

    I was a airtel user, and i had a postpaid connection but i requested for the mobile number portability (MNP) at 31 May 2013.
    Then i received message from Vodafone with porting request number i.e AD137848.
    But yesterday there was no network in my previous service provider' SIM i.e Airtel.
    So I entered Vodafone's sim in my mobile and there was no network.
    Today i talked to the customer care executive of vodafone & i come to know that they have ported my number from postpaid to prepaid with the different details. Don't know how is that possible. How Airtel has send wrong information to the vodafone.
    Even i have my all details like mobile bill.

    This is with refrence to mobile number [protected] I was given the information about data pack to recharge with rs 298 and avail 2 GB data with 60 days validity.later after recharging I was told that there is an increase in service.if it was so than why I was given wrong information about data and even offer of 46 rs talktime in 47 rs but I got 38 rs.with such a poor service I m forced to change my service provider and wish to port in my number to idea.

      I got a call from number [protected] on 29th September 2010 at 15.32 hours India time. I didnt attend since it was an international unknown number and missed the call.I did a google search and found that code+9230 is Pakistan country code. I know nobody in Pakistan and I am not aware if any of my friends are also travelling there.
      I was even more surprised to find that a lot of Airtel users have been receiving similar blanks calls.
      Would like to know what is going on and why are so many people receiving such calls from Pakistan.

      AirTel — Repeated Missed Calls

      Dear Sir/ Madam,

      I have been getting miss calls from the following numbers. Details of the same is given below:

      +[protected] I got a miss call from this number yesterday at 11:31 a.m. but when I tried to call it says the number does not exist.

      +[protected] I got a miss call from this number today at 09:05 a.m. I called back and a man picked up the phone. He said he is calling from airtel head office and that I have won 25 lacs. He gave me ref # 8991 and asked me to switch off the mobile to check the sim number and to call him back with the first four digits of SIM along with 8991. He also asked me if I had a bank account to which I said No. He then said that he would tell me the procedure to collect the 25 lcs once I called him back with the sim number and the ref #.

      Then I called the 100 number and lodged a complaint for the same. Two policemen came to my office and took a hand written letter from me addressed to SHO with the description of the issu. I asked for acknowledgement, but they said that I would have to visit the police station to get the same. Hence they did not give me any ref # or acknwodlegement receipt.

      The reason I am submitting this complaint is that the number code that the person was calling me from was from Pakistan.

      If you could kindly investigate the matter and offer me a solution so that I do not get such calls in future.

          I HAVE 3G AIRTEL DONGLE AND HAD MADE RECHARGE OF RS. 750/- ON MY MOBILE NUMBER [protected]. I HAVE MADE COMPLAIN SO MANY TIMES TO AIRTEL NUMBER [protected] THEY SAY WAIT FOR SOMETIME YOUR COMPLAIN IS BEING FORWARDED AND WILL GET IT RECTIFIED WITHIN FEW HOURS. WHEN AIRTEL CHARGES RS 750/- FOR 30 DAYS AND IS NOT ABLE TO SOLVE THE COMPLAINT FOR 6 DAYS I ASK COMPANY WHO WILL PAY FOR 6 DAYS WHICH IS ALSO NOT CONFIRMED THAT IT WILL BE SOLVED AND AT TIME OF SELL AIRTEL COMPANY SAYS YOUR COMPLAINT WILL SOLVED SHORTLY.           I have made complaint after complaint about the dongle showing the 'connected' status and the internet not workign...over last 10 days, they did not resolve my issue...Suman, Nadiri and Karan were utmost unprofessional, speaking lies and giving false assurances that I will receive a call back

            I had purchased 3G dongle with sim card from Airtel ([protected]) under Rs. 750 plan withe 5GB free limit in January 2012. I have not received any hard copy or soft of bill since then. In the month of May, they have executed a bill of Rs. 4680/- wide bill no:[protected] dated:06/05/12. This bill includes charges for 1GB extra data used after limit of 5GB, but I never excess this much of Internet. There is no authentication because I had never received any bill and also we cannot check 3G usage at any point of time. But other service providers are giving this facility. I had already lodged a complaint in against of this excess bill wide complaint no. 4381029 on 24the May 2012. Customer executive told me that he will send thee bill on my billing address. No bill have been reached till yet. Another executive call me and again I told him the same story he promise me that he will send soft copy of bill on my mail id. No bill have been received on my mail also. I am totally frustrated with this Airtel service. Total outstanding bill have been exceed Rs. 6,752 and it will increase by month, but I already stop using this service from May month onwards. Please look into this matter and resolve this.

            AirTel — Excess Bill of 3G

            Normal use of 2 g is 100 approx per month, when converted to 3 g bill is inflated to 1500 and despite stoppagge of service I again got bill of 3000 next month.

            This is competely fraud.

            When I checked the status of complaint no. 4381029 which was given to me it is closed without any resolution given to me. And today I received a legal notice on my email id. This is really pathetic. You can not even send a copy of bill on my email address, but you send a legal notice to me. I am requesting to you kindly resolve this ASAP.

              Sir, I was contact AIRTEL DTH Customer care on 12150 on 25th Jun 2012 for new connection of DTH. When I talk to customer care executive he said currently a offer has launched that "AGAR AAP APNE KISI FRIEND KO YA APNE REFERENCE SE AIRTEL DTH KA CONNECTIO DILATE HAI TO AAPKE AIRTEL DTH ACCOUNT MEIN EK CONNECTION KE LIYE RS. 200/- AUR AGAR DO CONNECTION DILATE HAI TO RS. 500/- CREDIT HOGA". I opted for this offer. As per this offer existing customer send a SMS MGM to 543325 from Registered Mobile No. My DTH ID is [protected] and my Registered Mobile No is [protected]. As per advice I had sent a SMS. After sending SMS a call back between 4:30 PM to 05:15 PM from AIRTEL Customer care for new DTH Connection. The customer care personnel name is Miss SABNAM and Mr. Shushant said the offer as stated above for crediting of Rs. 200/- under referal scheme if I opted to new DTH connection for my friend they will (AIRTEL DTH) credit Rs. 200/- after activation i.e. with in 24 hrs. The DTH of my friend installed on 28thJun at around 08:30PM and the same will be activated on 29 Jun 2012 around 11:00 AM. After activation I had contact AIRTEL Customer Care for the said scheme that amount of Rs. 200/- may please be credit in my account as the NEW DTH Connection under referral scheme has installed and activated. They were said that the amount Rs. 200/- under rererral scheme will be credit within 24 hrs. After that I had regularly contact AIRTEL Customer care and their Senior Executive as usual he said I had sent your problem to concerned department and the outstanding amount under refferal schemen will credit in next 24/48 hours. The issue is still pending and Rs. 200/- under refferal scheme neither credited inmy DTH account nor he resolve my problem till date.

                I am having airtel prepaid card number [protected] for last 7 years.And I am regularly using it and a number of my friends and relatives are having this number to contact me. But as I was in Gujarath for last three months for special training programe, I was not able to use or recharge my airtel number [protected] . Recently when I returned my home and try to use my phone , I found airtel simcard registration is failed I need this number because it is my primary no. For the last 7 years. All my contacts are on it and it is infact ,so please help me to activate my simcard with this number.

                I am using this number for my SBI bank accounts and other Banks also.

                So please do needful.

                    In Bhayandar East (Indralok Phase vi).

                    There are lot of problem:

                    No Roads,
                    Clay roads (unable to walk, lot of person slip)
                    Big Nalla , no drainage system
                    No Municipal Water Supply,
                    No Street Lighting
                    No Auto , No communication
                    No Mobile Tower in our Area
                    No safety for person

                    We are facing lot of hardship. Living in this area is horrible. Plz do
                    something via your channel.

                    If this continues we have to shift from this area.

A mobile or internet tower has been installed at the top of the residential roof, This is just with the permission of Building. This is very dangerous for health as well as this may be a cause of major accident in storm because this is just on the roof of the residential building. There are 11 families are residing.

                          I had lost my mobile on[protected], and i called the customer care on[protected] and barred my number. The same day i went to Airtel relationship centre (27 Mahadevpura Post White Field Main Road Bangalore 560048 Opp Bimal Maruti Auto Agency 560048Bangalore) to get a duplicate sim. For my connection i had given my office address as communication address as it was a CUG corporate connection, my residential address as present address and my native address as permanent address. I carried with me my driving license (showing permanent address) my pancard showing DOB, photo and company ID card showing my company address. Despite of carryning all the necessary documents the representatives there did not give me a duplicate sim and repeatedly asked for a letter from HR. The connection is in my name and for what reason do they need a letter from HR? I tried to put in my concern but they were not even bothered with that and even said in my face that they dont care what i say and they wont give the duplicate sim. This is a very disheartning experiance and i was so angry that i even wanted to cancel the connection. The people in this relationship centre are so arrogant, narrow minded and unprofessional and they do not have any value for the customers. And taking into consideration that i received the duplicate sim from another centre with the same documents, i think these people are purposefully harrassing the customers, expeting customers to be at their mercy and running the store at their own will. Please take action on this or else in future people like me would ofcourse think beyond airtel.

                          At the same outlet, I converted my post paid to prepaid connection by submitting all documents but still my number is not active. They didn't even tell me what's the problem.

                          When I contacted customer care, they asked me to visit the outlet.

                          Those guys didn't give me their contact number to call them if there is any issue.

                          Now, I have to take my time to visit once again. Why should I waste my time and petrol for their poor service?

                          I'm going to rough them up for sure when I visit.

                            I had applied for a broadband connection of airtel.Their executives informed me that there is one customer in my area who is discoonecting his connection.Later it will get transferred to my name.All his arrears were charged on my bill.I had raised a cancellation request on this land line:[protected].I was promised that with one week's time the connections will get disconnected.They did not disconnect and now they are asking me to pay 2500.

                              I am using mobile office monthly subscription.
                              Its usually get renewed every month after deducting monthly charges from my talktime balance.
                              This month also it happened but on the same day they charged me around 150 rupees for internet usage.
                              On behalf of the same I have raised co'-!5"mplaint
                              But very very poor response from cust care executives.
                              I want my money back
                              What should I do.

                                I have applied for Multiple(3) connection for my home and my Customer Id is [protected]. I have one HD and rest two are SD connections. I have got Economy Pack free with them. I'm facing major problem with blocked channels. All my News and Kids section channels are blocked only in my primary connection(Which is HD one). When I ask for the reason in customer care, they tell me that these channels are not subscribed by you and not in your pack whereas the same channels are coming in my second and third connection. Once they know this situation then they start the channels on my primary connections but after passing few minutes, again those channels get blocked.

                                I have called so many times in customer care and they are unable to solve my problem and just keep on putting me on hold for hours.

                                Another issue is with picture quality which is lower then a VCD quality. Blocks and scattered pixels on all channels which even admitted by the engineer who come for installation and one who come after to solve the problem. but both of them have same wordings that, this is the maximum quality which Airtel provides. The picture quality really sucks

                                Please give me the solution of my problems

                                  I have terminated my Airtel mobile connection on 12th July 2011 after making all outstanding payments. However, on 29the Aug, Airtel sent me a mail asking me to make payment. Even after repeatedly asking for explanation and status of closure, theey have not responded withe any such detail. I have discontinued my connection since I moved to US on 12the July and has been here ever since.

                                  Airlel has started calling my sister and father in India and use intimidatory and abusive language and threatened them that they will move the court on this issue.

                                  We have raised this issue with the Bharti Airtel Ombudsperson however, we did not recieve any help.

                                  Please find attached email correspondences

                                  I request you to kindly help in this issue.

                                  Airtel — Bill for Mobile Service being sent even after closure of connection

                                  Hi,
                                  I have a serious concern the way your billing department is working.Airtel connection for number [protected] has been closed and all pending amount has been cleared.

                                  All my communication with Airtel customer care ( [protected]@in.airtel.com) has been registered in the e-mail chain which has with sub-line 'CLOSE CONNECTION FOR [protected] [|BAL|[protected]|[protected]|]' ,which can be retrieved by Air-tel Customer-Care Personal (if anyone is seeing this post).

                                  However couple of days back, I got a mail from Airtel with a new bill for the month of May 2011 (refer 3rd attachment).

                                  I really don’t understand how an corporate Airtel account remain active even after request was placed long back (19-April 2011) and all pending amounts are cleared (see attachment 1 and 2)? Is this the way your long term customers are treated these days? ( 3 years with Airtel, with Broadband, DTH, Landline, 2 cell connection-- I had for my stay in Bangalore since last 3 years) This is not acceptable.

                                  Please see to this ASAP and provide proper resolution.

                                  Airtel — Bill payment after closure request

                                  Hi,

                                  I have requested for internat broadband transfer on 09-oct-2011 to a new house . I have been given assurance that , it is available on new facility.

                                  after one week , they told me that it is not possible to provide new connection. I Requested them to close the connection from 09-oct-2011 as there has been false commitments.

                                  They have charged bills till november , for which i haven't availed facilities.

                                    I have a few complaints against Airtel

                                    1) Since yesterday morning a certain amount is being deducted from my balance for no reason. Yesterday it was Rs.0.21 and today I get a pop up message on my phone saying Call Cost: Rs.0.57, Balance: xxxx..Last Call Duration: 00.00.00. What is the meaning of this? I haven't made any calls but still they are deducting money from my account.

                                    2) When I added the STD PACK for Rs. 39/- on Jun 02 2012, it never mentioned the validity of the pack in the confirmation SMS that I received and I assumed it was valid for 1 year. However in the past few days a very high amount is being deducted from my account for STD calls. So Airtel is trying to make more money by keeping customers in the dark about validity of their packs.

                                    3) I had registered for DND many years ago but I still keep getting SMS and unsolicited calls which has become a big nuisance.

                                      Above said phone is under safe custody with you since 20th May 2012. I am holding receipt issued by your frechise office at Saibin complex Lalbaugh Mangalore for the safe custody charges for 3 months , paid by cash . I am holding this receipt at my home in Mangalore . In fact I asked for safe custody facility for 6 months but your Frenchise office refused the same & told it is available only for 3 months. I even pointedout then provision available in the printed application form . It is, your said office told me there is no necessary to terminate ECS instruction , under which you are debiting monthly bills to my SB account with corporation bank Pandeshwar Mangalore 575001 branch . Now to my utter surprise you are still raising bills even for the period after May 20th 2012.
                                      You should have billed for the month of April 2012 as your Frenchise office at Mangalore have collected propotionate charges from me for May 2012.
