[Resolved]  Airtel Broadband — Tariff plan change

I was on a plan of 1499 + taxes for a 512 kbps Internet connection. AIRTEL changed the tariff plan to 1099 and did not notify me at all. They continued charging a higher tariff from me for no extra benefit. My concern is in case a tariff plan is being changed, all customers on the higher tariff need to be brought down to the new revised lower tariff and be notified. This is daylight robbery and I request Legal Action to be taken against AIRTEL Broadband.

Broadband — change of plan

Sir,
I have submitted the change of plan to ' HOME 500 C PLUS ' to Barkatpura exchange.But on verification of the bill, I found that it is under ' HOME 500 C '.

I request you sir to change it to ' HOME 500 C PLUS ' from 1.2.2009 onwards.

AirTel — regarding plan change

Sir, i am manikandan i am doing B.Tech, i have one EC Demo sim card for the purpose of recharge i.e [protected], also i have another number for communication purpose only, unexpectedly i did one mistake i try to change my plan this number [protected], but by mistake i changed my EC plan on this no [protected], after that i did complaint regarding this mistakes but i cann't get any better resolution about my complaints, please give the resolution for this complaint please do the needful to me sir

Airtel — Tariff plan issue

I have sent an email to [protected]@airtelindia.com on 20-Mar-09 to change my tariff plan. After that I have sent more than 20 reminders to '[protected]@airtelindia.com', 'Appellate.[protected]@Airtel.in', 'NodalOfficer.[protected]@airtel.in' but in vain. I have even called customer care & have spoken to retention team, but waste of time. Everytime I call, will have to explain everything from the beginning. I dont understand why they don't update the customer interaction in the system, so that when the customer calls next time, they don't have to waste time in understanding the issue.

Airtel — teriff changed

I have a airtel card with goverment plan I got a sms form airtel to recharge with rs 49 and get a validity of 2 months without any further details. now my teriff is changed and I am paying 3times than my original plan and no body is ready to listen to me in coustmer care.

Airtel Broadband — involuntary change of plan

I applied for a new airtel broadband connection on[protected] form a airtel marketing personnel for the 'Explorer 1099' plan which features 384kbps during day and 1mbps at night(10pm-6am).

After the connection is installed on[protected], i come to know that the plan i have been given is 'swift 1099' 512kbps day and night.

I have contacted airtel and asked them to provide the correct plan, but they are refusing to do so quoting that the 'explorer 1099' plan is not available.

Since my usage is mainly at night, this is a severe drawback for me as i am getting only 512kbps at night instead of 1mbps.

Airtel personnel accept that its their mistake, but refuse to honour the plan that I opted for.

Airtel — no action on change in tariff plan

request for tariff plan change has been sent four days back.but till date no reply .why cant requests be taken on phone?

Airtel — removal of tariff

I use airtel prepaid number, my cell number is [protected]. I had reduced my tariff to 60 paise per call by recharing with some plan. Yeserday[protected] that plan was suddenly removed and my call rates become rs. 1 and rs. 1.5. I called customer care for the reason, they said that i had recharged with my number with rs.65 and because of which my low tariff plan is removed. But, I had not recharged my cell with any of such voucher moreover there is not any such voucher of rs. 65. Then to again reduce my call rate I had recharged with rs 27 unnecessarly.
I am very thankful to you. Airtel company had deducted some money from my account and because of you I had received it.

AirTel — Change of broadband plan

We have Airtel landline and broadband connection at home. We raised request for change of plan on 2nd may 2010 and then followed up with Airtel to see this happening. But they no one bothered to take any action, despite of their promise of calling us to follow up, there were no calls. We raised complain regarding this, but no action was taken. Just today got to know that complain was closed without discussing us. They never sent any emails and they are now claiming they sent a email informing of changes. This is such a lousy customer service. Concerned floor manager told us, he he not able to search mails which we sent, and just today he was searching for our emails. They are such lousy liars and he again promised to get a call back tomorrow, but i am sure no one will call me. I have decided to escalate this further.

Airtel Broadband — change plan

Hi
I have been using 699 broadband plan..i want to change to unlimited plan(899) from this month.Awaiting for your sooner response.

Airtel — Broadband connection plan tariff not changed

First of all i had taken the airtel connection only because of the fact that i was able to migrate to older better plans, i called up the customer care and confirmed it also. But after a month when i requested for changing the plan they said it was not possible and hence I wanted to cancel my airtel internet connection on october 2010.

After requesting for cancellaation, a lady by the name Shaista from the customer retrieval department of Airtel told me that there was new plan of Rs500/- (Unlimited download with same speed through out the month for Rs500), i agreed to migrate to that plan
But now wheb the the bill for this month arrived, the tariff has bot been changed it continues to be Rs.899/-
The airtel customer service is the worst of which ever i have used. It has been only 3 months since i started using the broadband connection and i have called up the customer care department nearly 50 times as of now for various problems.
Still the tariff has not been changed to the amount that i was promised .I thought customer satisfaction was their priority...!!!!
