I faced the same issue. I threatened to complain to TARI if they don't give me back my money. I also told them if they google, they will get hundreds of same complaints. They immediately credited my money back( in about 4 mins).

Sir five days before i subscribed text based service on m.igfun.com, but i have no [censored]ility of packed data service so i am requesting you to cancel the text based service in my sim under mobile number [protected] because the service is deducting Rs 10 daily.So it is requested to cancel it and refund the amount as early as possible.Thank you

Airtel is fooling people all around. A very bakwas service they are providing through their customer services. inspite of repeated complaints two times everyday since jan 1 '09 they did not discontinued this bluff text based services.
i not only agree but strongly agree this complain as i m also receiving this bakwas sms "thanks for using (subscription, textbasedservices) subscription service on airtel WAP. You've been charged Rs10. Enjoy http://m.igfun. com" on my no.[protected]
