I got one airtel prepaid sim card on 28th march 2008.I submitted my electricity bill and Pan card as verification document. But still my outgoing call as well as incoming calls are barred. Twice I have submitted the documents in the office but still the response is documents not recieved.

Customer care is highly incapable and of no use and not at all proffesional and co-operative especially the ones at gomtinagar Airtel office.I am sure AIRTEL is worst operator in lucknow belt.
my number is [protected], which still bears the same problem.

I took this connection to use it for my pesonal emergency purpose but it is of no use for me. I am highly dissapointed by the service.

Airtel Prepaid Connection — false billing

besides possessing special tariff privileges of calling airtel to airtel mobiles @30p/min. vide recharge id 22781429, I have constantly been charged Rs.1.99/min for several calls made 0n 20.3.2008.The customer care helplines seem continuously busy.

    sir,
    I beg to suffering your hellotune and love massage services. any time u deduct the large money in my account. i am very tired to your services. before some time i complented to your costumer care but they are not here my complaint. and cut the phone. so please deactivate my hellotune and love massage services. another i can go consumer form or higher place.

    and i also suffer to sms service i recharge my account by 111 recharge and also sms card 25 Rupees but i dont send any sms means i have sufficeant balance in my account and i have sms card also but i cant send sms so please check my sms services and repair my sms service as soon as posible.its my request

    I am fully agree with Mr. Ankit. I am also suffering with same problem of Hello Tune, which I have never subscribed and Airtel is sending bill of Rs 31.10 regularly. I had made request several time to deactivate but Airtel had not taken any action.

    It is very shameful to Airtel and it's management by adopting such practices to make money.

    I also agree with Ankit, I am also suffering from the love message. I have contacted many times to customer care for deactiving the services they told within 1 hour this services will be deactived but till now I am getting the message and charges are be getting from me. When my bal get low this service will get me to hell...

    Really I am very much shame to AIRTEL that they are doing such nasty things to their customers.
    Hi this is ram from port blair i am use airtel sim 9933xxxxxx & 9679xxxxxx we r young genration. we talk about our friends by a cell phone, we cummunicate each other more then 1 hr. in a port blair city airtel service is good but we could not got a good airtel offer why. after we rechrge 58 rs. we have ATA 35 P. i thik this is good 4 youngistaan...so plz think about port blair youngistaan... thanking u & thank to airtel u come a port blair . airtel u'r not bad but u'r not enough... we love u...

      WE HAVE BRODBAND LINE WE ARE NOT USE ON SOME DAYS
      BUT BILL SHOWS HEAVY USAGE num; [protected]
      I am the customer of airtell Broadband internet connection
      My Parents live in Noida and use the Internet connection at home.

      Airtel has billed them wrongly and sent a bill of Rs 32000/= ( two bills of approx 15000/= + 17000/=) for not using any data connection

      Airtel just keep saying that they saw the uses on their end but we never used it.

      Here are the ac details.

      I already have more peoples who have received such wrong bills.

      There is a guy named Sushil who sits in the Sector-57 Noida and an employee of the airtel He misbehaves with the customers who go there.

      Hello,

      I am one more sufferer of airtel broadband.

      I had a connection of airtel broadband in March and took 555 combo plan of airtel.
      Everything was fine, the bill amount was 633 most of the time and I was happy with it.

      In January I received the bill for Rs 3000 and when I called them they said that there was broadband usage of 6 GB.
      I know that I have not used the same and airtel is demanding wrong money from me.

      I asked them to disconnect the connection.
      They disconnected the connection but nobody came to pick the instrument.

      Now today I got message from them that the bill for this month is Rs5216.

      When the connection is given up how can the airtel send the bill to me.
      I feel disgusted and I helpless.

      Is there anyway handle this ?
      I really feel helpless �?� .

      I got disconnected my phone in Apr08 and cleared all my dues with written ( Disconnection ) application at their office.

      First Airtel Exectuives are not ready to disconnect the same.
      After that when i forced them to accept the application then they got ready to take the same.

      Then suddenly after 15 ~ 20days i received phone call from airtel office that they are not going to disconnect the line
      and providing me free usuage for 2 two months and their will be no charges.
      And if you want to disconnect the line then you can disconnect the same after two months. As i have no requirement then i further requested to disconnect the same. and not used any more ( internet )
      Suddenly after two months i received bill from Airtel and warnings from their collection agency to clear the bill.

      I requested Airtel a number of times that i have not used their airtel connection after april. then why i have to pay such
      pending amount. They are not ready to listen and even continuously disturbing me since a long time.

      So please look into the same and do the needful.

      I am the subscriber to Airtel Broad Band Services and my user id is [protected], account no. 12492604. I am very disappointed with the kind of services Airtel are providing these days. I talked to a lot of people in their customer care centre, but each time I am getting no solution talks.

      We are in a real estate consultancy and having staff of 5 people who are using internet; our previous bills were in between of Rs. 2000.00 to 3500.00 but now from the last two months Airtel raise bill of Rs. 7510 (Billing Period 08/Aug/08 to 07/Sep/08, invoice no.[protected] and Rs. 36354 (Billing Period 08/09/08 to 07/10/08, invoice no.[protected] we were shocked that on first bill we got of Rs. 7510, & we had done complaint vide complaint no. 12205726 dt. 27 Sep. 08 and we were assured that some body with visit and try to resolve your problem but no body visited & over and above that we have got a bill of Rs. 36354, which is like 10 times for the last 10 years which is certainly impossible & as we have marked a concern on the bill of Rs. 7510 your company has not taken any action against that so we cannot imagine that there is no control on your system and no body inform us i[censored]ses go high and how can Airtel provide customer a baseless credit please verify the statement and see that we don’t face ant kind interruption in the services and please let us know what is the actual amount to be paid if we not hear anything from your end within 7 days we would be forced to take a legal action & file a consumer case against Airtel inflatory bills and non response to customer request and providing baseless credit to consumer.

      Kindly take a fast action.

      I have a 256 k connection wit an unlimited download package but the hidden truth is we can download only 15 GB of data and once we cross this our speed becomes half ie. 128 k till the next billing data. This information is hidden and people dont notice is it because by the time your speed problem is solved your next billing date would have appeared.
      No other service provider has this rule except AIRTEL which brags about being the best in INDIA.
      And even the 512 k connection has a 30 GB limit...

      So look out for ur options if are going for an airtel connection- Go for it only if you dont download much even if are taking the so called " UNLIMITED" package.

      Airtel Broadband — Fraud by collection agency

      Here I would like to bring in notice the fraud done by Airtel.

      We called up Airtel to collect the payment and Airtel executive came to collect it. My wife was there at home. Collection agent sprayed some liquid and then asked my wife to sign the chaque. She signed the chaque in unconcious state and after that collection agent fled away with the chaque and withdrawn Rs 10000/- from her account.

      Now we contacted Airtel regional office in Noida and got a response from management that they are not able to trace the collection agency.

      For us, that collection agent was the Airtel executive and ultimately Airtel is responsible for all this.

      Can anyone suggest how can I get my money back.

      It is sad to hear this.

      I feel along with Airtel, kindly connect with your bank also. If it was a cheque, it would have got transferred into somebody;s account. You may trace that.

      Second, if it was self even then bank people take the name and phone number of the person who has come to collect the cash.

      Just a suggestion please.

      AIRTEL BROADBAND ARE THE BIGGEST FRAWD & CHEATERS.

      my name is navneet jain, my airtel broadband no. is [protected] (a/c no.[protected]. delhi, rohini sector-14 extension
      i changed my broadband plan from unlimited to 5GB MB based limited plan on 25th march 2010, i repeated my mb based plan atleast 5 times, still due to the mistake of extremely idiotic airtel executive he changed my plan to TIME based plan (25hrs a month). after three days i got a call from airtel broadband and they told me that they have changed my plan to TIME based plan, there and then i told that exectuive about the blunder they have committed & asked them to please change my plan back to the previous one (unlimited plan), as I didnt wanted to creat another confusion.
      now in the month of april, i received a bill of 2004 rs, which included DSL charges of 1250. goddamn ??????...why should i bear the dsl charges due to the stupid mistake of airtel execuitve. as always my modem kept running in those 3 days in which those stupids changed my plan time based plan, it almost made a dsl charged of 1250 in JUST 3 DAYS ...
      imideately i informed airtelbroad that how the hell they have charged me so much ??? in reply to which they told me that they have taken a confirmation from us...this is total crap !! because these idiotic people who were supposed to call on my no. first they called on my dad's no. who is a 52 yr old heart patient & asked them for confirmation.
      i told them who gave them the authority to call on that no. ?? as this airtel connection is on my name & i have always asked airtel people to call on this for any correspondence & apart from that when they called on my no. for confirmation ...i simply refused !!! then how come they processed that time based plan ??????
      i asked them to send me a voice copy of phone conversation with me on my e-mail
      where i have told them to change the plan to TIME baed plan on my no.([protected]). & i was ready to pay ten times the bill amount if i have ever said yes to that..crap...to which they refused..that they cant send me the coversation details...i asked them to take their modem & disconnect my connection, SINCE THEN I HAVENT USED THEIR INTERNET & TAKEN OFF ALL THEIR CONNECTION.
      i kept on complaining, but nobody did anything, i had explain the same story again n again to every airtel executive. but they did nothing. finally on 19th or 20th april i got a call from airtel that due the confusion they will waiver the amount of rs 1000, they dont have the authority to do anything above that. just to get out this mess i agreed that if they can waiver the bill by 1000rs then i am ready to pay the bill, although i will have to pay 280 rs extra without any fault (but i just wanted to get out of this mess)...
      but they were actually fooling me, they did no waiver although they wanted that i should pay the bill & they will waiver the amount in the next months bill which they didnt.
      now they have been calling me, my parents again n again & these airtel recovercy people are harrasing me & my family every now & then. they have now sent me a bill of rs 2820...holyshit...when i asked them to disconnect my connection & i havent used the internet since this problem has occured ..then why should i pay the bill ???...
      i am informing you this because its not a matter of money, i have been paying airtel bill for past 2 yrs ?? why would i intentionally do such default ?? its a matter of right & wrong ...& also these people are harrassing my family members ?? if they cross their limits i will go to consumer court, because it seem AIRTEL BROADBAND PEOPLE MORE THEN SERVICE PROVIDERS, THEY ARE FRAWDS, CHEATERS & CRIMINALS WHO HARASS MIDDLE CLASS FAMILY PEOPLE. i wil make sure that post this comment & mail on every internet consumer complaint website & i will also mail a copy to consumer court.

        To begin with we all know how pathetic airtel customer care is. I think first of all they should remove the word 'care', it does not suit them. They are so pathetic that if there were awards for the worst customer service, they would win hands down, not only win, but also get a life time acheivment award for outstanding customer harrassment processes.

        My case:-
        I was asked to pay Rs 1700 in my Feb 2008 bill (apart from my actual monthly usage). On enquiring i was told i did not pay my feb 2007 Bill !!!

        It took me 2 months and more than 6 hours of haggling with customer 'care' to get my feb 2007 bills to cross check. And surely I had paid, they had sent me two bills in feb 2007 because i had changed plans, hence the confusion. But they fail to understand that and hence have de-barred my connection.

          a message has come to me that "99 Rs has been deducted from your account for vas pak99", for which i hadn't subscribed, i was totally satisfied customer of airtel, but now i won't continue this conection, i have talked different customer executive of airtel, still i haven't got any answer

          Sir, I have a prepaid airtel connection, airtel has deducted my Rs. 30.00 without my permission and given a SMS ' Your subscription to Airtel Live Music on Demand has been renewed for 30 minutes.Call 543213 (toll-free) to continue enjoying superhit songs in 17 languages" I have call to to customer care that I have not taken any subscription then why airtel has renewed this? he says you have taken so it has deducted asking that when I have taken then he refused to tell. This is very very poor service from airtel.

          I have a prepaid airtel connection, airtel has deducting Rs.8.00 without my permission and

          without giving information against which it is deducted. I called customer care, that day it was credited

          back. but it is deducting daily.
          i have recharged from Kolkata, W.B., on 5.10.09, by Easy Recharge of Rs/250,

          of Full Talktime of Rs/260.

          Now I have decided, if I dont get any positive response from the company then I will thrw away the SIM and will go for other service provider.

            FEW MONTHS I WAS IN PEACE WITH NO CALLS/SMS TO DISTURB, BUT NOW TO MY SURPRISE I REALISE THAT SINCE 13/04/[protected]@13:24 HRS I AM CONSTANTLY GETTING PROMOTIONAL SMS"ES FROM AIRTEL TILL DATE.I AM VERY UPSET IN THIS REGARD AND FILED A COMPLAINT TO BHARTI AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE ON 14/04/[protected]@16:19 HRS COMPLIAINT REF NO. 16294576, EVEN AFTER THAT I AM GETTING THESE SMS"ES.

            Airtel — Getting unwanted bad SMS

            Sir,
            Myself Ranjan Kumar Syel, from Jorhat Assam. From 10 to 15 days a no.[protected], is giving me so many miscall and bad. sms to me. I tried to contact local airtel customer care. But they could not help. I am aslo an Airtel user. But the local authorities could not coperate with me. Plz. help me Sir, otherwise i am forced to leave to Airtel. I need full details of this no. within a day.

            I took a postpaid connection 2 weeks back and last back they sent sms telling that negative address verification and disconnected by outgoing calls. On the same mentioned address we have airtel broadband connection and another postpaid connection also. Still they are telling the address is not not tracable and we are getting the monthly bill in the same billing address.Really sorry to tell that all the time whenever i contacted the customer care guys they are telling that they cant garantee anything ..they can only update my complaint and not even can give any other senior official number, not even the office number of their bagalore head office. I opted airtel because of its coverage of its in bangalore koramnagala area.

            AirTel — getting unwanted sms

            Hi,
            Please block the SMS's that I have been receiving. It's really irritating and recieve sms from some number starting from 5. and it deducts 30 rupees evry now them on the name of chat enabling which I never did. Speaking to the Customer rep did not yeild any results. I request you to block the SMS's ASAP.

            Sir, i, usually received SMS on my mobiles by TM-Prize. would me please inform the service provider company, and moble number or email. i will be higely thankfull to you. Zahri

            Airtel — unwanted links been sent through sms

            I keep getting so many unwanted links as sms to my mobile . It quotes statements like :

            "Romance marriage : Post link "
            " Romance:how to be a better partner" post link http:??m.mobshare.in/t/ofuy
            " Romance : easy ways to say i love you . "

            this are ridiculous messages and if by mistake you happen to click on the link send you will be charged additional.

            Please note that the operator is fooling customers by doing so . Am not sure who is benefiting from this but ultimately its going from my pocket.

            Bharti Airtel — Unwanted SMS

            I am a postpaid service user of Airtel since the past 4 Yrs. I have registered for the Do Not Disturb service a long time ago, but still i receive around 6-7 SMS daily. I called the Customer Care and they asked me the sender ID, that time I told them around 20-30 different IDs and i was told that within 72 Hrs those SMS's would be blocked but still i am receiving them. I am really annoyed because of that. In this busy world no one has time to provide the service provider with the sender IDs on daily bases because daily there are new ones.
            I am unhappy with this part of Airtel. You should take strict action against this issue otherwise there is no use of the Do Not Disturb service provided by TRAI.
            I am sending the contact details right away.
            I received a call from the cust. care., beside giving me a solution they asked me the reason for drooping a mail containing my contact details. This is really getting annoying now, either you provide me a solution or accept that you cant help me with this. I am still in the process of receiving those irritating spam sms daily. I need a reason for you guys not taking it seriously.

              I am a postpaid subscriber facing network coverage issue in indoor and outdoor from the day of activation i.e June 2006. The customer care 121 promising to solve the issue very soon and they are working over the issue and by that time they are charging me without providing the network. how this company is doing all this is beyond an ethical business. This info I am submitting in this site for the public to be aware of this big giants and avoid troubles.

              Airtel , Post Paid Service ( Mumbai ) — Network

              My Airtel service has been down for over 4 days, and the comapany maintains the stand that only a small percentage o[censored]sers are suffering. My thought is probably over 2 million subscribers of airtel are miserable for the last 4 days, and Airtel has not bothered to advise when this nightmare would get over.

              I have writted to them several times and the response is always about a temporary glitch which shoulld be resolve shortly. I have been a user of mobile phone for over 10 years and have never expereince anything like this. This is a black day in the wireless journey of this country and not a single media channel ( print / tv ) is even talking about it.

              Guess this is the power of advertising spend !

              I wonder what what a company may have to spend in damages in a developed country where the customer is valued and there are regulations to protect them against such wanton apathy from telco companies.
              I had applied for post paid plan 199 CUG & Airtel representative Mr. Nimesh contact no. [protected] provide me a SIM[protected] on dated 01/09/2008. He assured me that it will activate with in 24 hrs. But after regular follow up still it is unactivated. I had spent about 100 rupee in follow up. I had lodge comlaint on this site on dated 11/09/08 & 14/09/2008 as well as Nodal officer Maharastra on dated 12/09/2008 & 19/09/2008. Can Airtel Bharti tell me that it will activated or not. If reply is in No then I can go for other service provider.

              I am also facing lots of problems with my Airtel number and Airtel network in Mumbai. I am not getting any network at my place in spite of reporting to their highest complaint authorities several times. I am also not getting any missed call alerts even after the subscription. I was assured several times that my missed call service is active. I am also unable to contact to their customer care representative inspite of my several written complaints. These guys are simply doing nothing.

              At last, I can say that Airtel services are totally untrustworthy and I am a victim of the same.
              I am using Airtel for last 06 months as a prepaid costumer.
              But, in the third week of december 2008, I got a call from the Airtel office that you can convert your prepaid connection to postpaid.
              As my monthly usage is quite high, I accepted the offer.
              The very next day a person came to me to collect the documents and Rs 300.00 for the Postpaid connection after that on next day a person came to verify my residence and office address, after that on 26th December I got my new Postpaid sim activated.
              But Suddenly on 02nd January my outgoing calls facility is terminated.
              On 03rd January I got a message from Airtel that Please submit your documents to the office from where you have purchased the Postpaid Sim.
              I dont know their office and on costumercare also no one is responding me.
              I think I have been from Airtel .
              I appeal to all of you please never go for the Airtel Service as they are cheaters, if they want to make you a costumer they will call you hundred times and they will send their representative to your place any time, but after that no one is taking care of the services.

              eventhough my connection has been terminated more than 6 months back I am still getting bills every monthg with late fee.I've repeatedly requested your billing department to settle the original bill instead of sending meaningless new bills. I am pretty much convinced that it's a ploy to cheat law abiding citizens like me.
              I intend to file a cheating case against whosoever it may concern unless this issue is resolved in the next 1 week

              Airtel — Lot of AIR but not TEL

              Airtel service seems to be pathetic...i had clearly mentioned atleast 4 times to the airtel executive - that i need the connection urgently. They said they can give only within 4 working days.

              They took the cheque for Rs.500/- and till today they have not given any feedback on the status.

              what happens to the money //// what is the status of my complaint///no idea///

              The executive does not pickup the call

              it is more than 8 days now...no reply ...the call centre says someone will call back...no calls....since they have taken the money from the account ...they should have the basic decency to atleast inform the status....so that i can proceed with some other company ( some good companies like TIKONA or TATA or Reliance )


              I will definitely not recommend airtel broadband connection to anyone

                i was exploring my fone and accidentally set this. then i had this problem happen and read a bunch of other sites. if your PIN is blocked from guessing incorrectly, STOP once your PUK is blocked, you can only buy a new SIM card. if you need to enter your PUK then take out your sim card and write down the number on the back. this is NOT your PUK number. they may need this information though. then call[protected] for the AT&T coustomer service. they should be able to give it to you after verification. i am sorry, i dont know the numbers for other carriers. hope this helped :)

                  Dear Sir, I like to inform you that till date I have not received
                  any reply of my mail sent to you on 9.04.08 and
                  11.04.08, regarding deduction of Rs, 249/- as monthly
                  GPRS rental on 8.04.08.

                  Sir, I again confirming that GPRS connection is not
                  active in my prepaid account, which is also confirmed
                  by 121 on 25.03.08 through SMS to my No.

                  Here it is being noticed that after 25 or 28 days
                  interval I am receiving a sms in my mobile, Rs, 249/-
                  will be debit able from your account and after a few
                  hours the concern section deducted the money
                  without any reason. The concern authority is not
                  verifying whether GPRS connection active to his pre
                  paid account or not.
                  Sir, it is my request to kindly verify it and kindly give
                  credit of Rs, 249/- in my accoynt.

                  Please, give strict information not to deduct any rental
                  from my account in future.to the concern section.

                      Concern echoed, the plan was taken in place of MTNL as better qos was promised. This does not qualify as good qos provided.
                      It took a huge amount of effort from our part even to get the intercom service initiated and now this.

                      Should we expect a similarly callous approach from Airtel in future dealings?
                      Used to be a very good impression from Airtel services. This one comes as a shocker - the lack of preparedness to take on the consumer needs and satisfaction.

                      Please have the advances reversed from the bill at the earliest.

Its a real obligation for me as per IVR does not give any information to me & if i ask Customer Service rep they advise me to check on IVR.
                      I have filled up the Self care form "3" TIMES . I'm afraid now, submitting my informaion again & again might lead me towards identity theft.

                      Please make sure that whether the email id is correct or not.

                      I ahve applied for airtel post paid connection thru mobile store, Kandivli east Mumbai, on 19th May, 08. After 6 days I am told by The Mobile Store that Air tel has infomed that my PAN no. is not visible on my PAn Card copy handed over with the application. Does it atke 6 days to Airtel to point out this. Now only on 26th a fresh copyof PAN card will be handed over and then wait when they will activate the number. I have already got the number but of no use till the sim is inactve.
                      Pls note that I was getting a VODA phone number with 786 in it but I opted for Airtel. Now I repent.

                      yeA i too agree.Airtel net sux.They does not provide the speed as they have told us.According to my plan my speed should be 2 mbps and currently my speed is only on average 750 kbps-download and 95 kbps for uploading.That sux.Mtnl net is better then AIRTEL

                        Dear Sir / Madam,

                        I am holding a airtel mobile no. since April' 2007 and my mobile no. is[protected]. This mobile no. has been issued to someone else on 15/03/08 from afternoon i believe. I noticed in the evening that i am not able to call from my mobile and its giving message INACTIVE SIM since that time and till 17/03/08 my mobile no. somebody else was using. I am residing in Raipur, chattisgarh and my mob.no has been issued to someone else in Sivani, M.P. when i called up my no., some body named Ms.Ratnaprabha Soni from Sivani, M.P. picked up the phone and after asking how come this no. is with her she told that she lost her mob. one month back thats why she deactivated her no. and got this no.instead of that. Inspite of saying that this is not her no.they have used my phone during that period. When we called second time on our no. again some gentleman picked up the phone named Manish from Bhopal, M.P. how it is possible? its sounding very suspecious.

                        When i called up airtel customer care no.somebody attended the call but without any solution he told me that he can not help me regarding this and i have to go to local office on monday. I went today to your local office in Raipur, Amapara, GGD Complex and they have activated my account, but when i have asked for the detail of the calls, which has been made during that period. They had given me that nos. in a plain paper without any endorsement, which doesn't have any sense. When i have spoken to your airtel employee Mr. Rohit Pethkar, prepaid customer in Raipur, so he also denied giving printed report about the made calls and endorsing it.

                        My main concern is to have that record with me for future reference in case somebody misused the phone. I would like you to go through the matter and give me the detail about those calls and i have all the rights to ask for it. Even for your kind information those calls money has also gone from my balance.

                        All these problems because of one of the recognised telephone company's mistakes or some employee is misusing your services for his benefit??? Why should i bear this???

                        Please do the needful asap...otherwise forcefully i have to contact the consumer protection act department.

                        Above complain has been submitted to airtel complain dept. but there is no action and the person from airtel with whom i have spoken to, is straight way denying, giving anything in writing about the calls made from my phone, when it has been issued to someone else. My main concern is whats the problem in giving the printout of those calls for my record??? I do undersatnd it can happen by mistake, but mistakes can be corrected or solved if they want, but whats the reason in avoiding the whole issue?? Have they given this number somebody purposely to use it for some wrong activities??? all these querries are coming in my mind and its natural.

                        Please do the needful to stop any wrong activities if its happening or to improve the services.

                          My airtel postpaid connection no. Is [protected] & my account no. Is[protected].Since last 1 month i am trying to get my account details & bill particulars.
                          But airtel is neither giving me my login id & password nor registering me through airtel.in as well as sms.
                          They are not submitting me correct registration form for registration.
                          Every time i tried to register myself through net or by sending sms "register" to 121 they respoded me that ur mobile no. Is incorrect. & contact 121.
                          And on contacting 10 to 15 times 121 no one has solved the problem nor given correct information to me.
                          They had only taken my complaint vide no. 16253539 & promised that they will call back me with solution but in vain they did nothing.
                          Hence i am filling this complaint.
                          So plz. do needfull.

                          My airtel prepaid connection no. Is [protected].Since last 2 weeks i am trying to get customer care in 121 but replies to send sms to 121, which I did as they instructed.
                          But airtel give no response to my call as well as sms.
                          My complaints are as follows-
                          1. Very slow speed in GPRS/internet 1 or 2 kb/s.

                            Airtel postpaid connection advertisements clearly claims that GPRS or DATA SERVICE is available if we have a postpaid connection in the north east india telecom circle. I had applied-got the connection-tried GPRS and there was a negative response. I immediately consulted the customer care and I got a reply that this service was removed from North East Circle due to Law and Order Problem. I ran around the government estd and ask and enquired with every single department including the Chief Ministers Office and their is no intimation from the government about GPRS to airtel as a matter of fact there is no communication at all between the Government of my state and Airtel at all till date. I called the customer care again and fired the executive on line about law and order thing... and now when I call them they say that the channels are exausted and at times I still get this law and order stories from them but its a bit rare now. Their latest answer for not providing GPRS to NE Circle is that They(AIRTEL) are in the pocess o[censored]pgradation of the data service for this areas and when they get any information from the technical department they will let us know----and that is 18 months ago. Please lobby on behalf of the poor NE Indians and throw airtel away to Myanmar (burma)--they may like it because the models in their advertisements looks like burmese.

                            yesterday only i have taken new post paid sim my no is [protected] i activated gprs on my phone(N-73) at that time cc executive told me there r two plans 99rs/ and 399rs for connecting mobileoffice to pc .now what i want to know is how to activate 399rs plan now i couldnt contact cc executives so someone tell me

For the last 6 Months I got activated GPRS Service which was working properly, but since 25.05.2008 the service is not available in the area of my residence i.e Madnani Lane, Near MDDM College, Oppesite HDFC ATM 250 metre Northward, Muzaffarpur (Bihar).

                            Sir, I have tried my best to contact 121, but every effort of mine has went in vain. Please look into the matter and restore services at the above location.

                            1. Airtel stopped my Mobile Office service without any prior notice. When i called up customer care on 121 they told that the services are active, then i contacted technical customer care 12118, they told me Mobile Office service is not active. I conferenced the call between 121 and 12118 and they both were confused what to do. My services are not active since Friday 21 Nov 2008. I have also sent email to 121, visited Airtel Relationship Center.

                            2. After requesting almost 100 times to Airtel through Phone and email I am still charged for DADA service 10 Rs everyday.
                            Airtel is not even helping me to discontinue with this service.
                            dada service is activate in my airtel prepaid connection for it chareged per day 10 rupees .

                              My Post paid Mobile connection was converted to prepaid on 22.02.2008-thereby discontinuing any VAS services.The recharge Voucher for 495 Life time was purchased by me by kepping the same No [protected].
                              However the Company -Airtel Debited 2 times for VAS there by reducing the Balance by Rs 198.The Company had confirmed that the service of VAS was deactivated.I have sent SMS to 121 on this issue and have received SMS from 121 saying that the forceful debit will be credited - but so far not done.
                              Please stop such loot on Prepaid connections.

                                I am a airtel prepaid user. My mobile number is [protected]. An unauthorised deduction was made from my airtel balance of Rs.99.They activated a VASPACK99 without my permission.It was also activated in previous month which was discontinued on my complaint .But in this month they renewed it again.I have complaint against it many times but my balance is not refunded.I request you to help me as i can not afford it.

                                  This is to bring to your kind notice, the issue regarding my Airtel Mobile No.- [protected], [protected]
                                  As regards phone no.[protected]
                                  I have been using it as a prepaid life time connection for the last 1 yr.and I paid extra money for life time. but when I checked it was upto year 2015 only .even then I remained quiet it is o.k but I am amazed to see that from 30th of march its sim has become inactive.and when any one phones me it sounds that this no is not existing. Similar is the case with my phone no, [protected] which is the new connection I got in January 2008, when on 31st march I enquired from customercare on phone [protected] they said life time charger needs to be recharged after 6 months as I did not charged they have inactivated but I tried to told them that I got it recharged in January 2008 and the phone no [protected] was new connection taken in January 2008 only about 2 months back. Whereas when I had the connection I was told nothing about it they could not give satisfactory answer.their reply was every thing is deleted from their system they have no records the only thing possible is take new connection.
                                  Again I visited the airtel head office indusrial area MOHALI on 1st April at 3.30 pm and talked to Subha and Rupinder singh but they did not talked properly and could not answer our quiry why our phones were disconnected and when we asked to meet their seniors they said they are the senior most there. after that i talked to them so many times and posted my complaint on this site also. on 8th april evening shubha told me that they have not my papres with them and by 9th morning i must deposits all the relevant papers which are required to be deposited at the time of taking connection .i did the same after that i phoned many times what reply is register yourself on 123 i did it but it is showing my credit is nil and incoming to phone is temporarily disconnected . I phoned so many times to customer care and to Shubha but reply is she is trying to take my balance back and it willstart within 24 hrs but even after 4 days nothing has happened

                                  This is regarding asn instalation of landling & internet at my home.
                                  I was given commitment by the executive that this will be installed within 5 days but did not happened.
                                  I made around 50 calls to customer care regarding the same but nothing happend.

                                    Airtel — Disconnection of my prepaid card

                                    I had got an SMS a month back stating that i have to submit my documents all over again or else my phone connection would be disconnected within 48hrs. i was not able to do so as my schedule was very busy so as mentioned, they stopped my airtel services. so few days later i went to the airtel gallery and they connected me to an airtel representative. I narrated her the incident and she asked me few questions like when did i buy the card and what offer i am into etc (i have been using airtel services since 5-6 years and i must say they are pathetic) and she said that she has taken down all the information and she added that there is no need to re-submit the papers as all the information provided by me was correct and she started my services within half an hour. few days later to my horror my entire SIM card is blocked. I stormed into the airtel office and they said that it is not possible that our representative might have said this and that my card cannot be restored back and i have to take a new number. i was not even informed before disconnecting my services.
                                    I LOST
                                    1) About Rs.40 of my talktime
                                    2) My 1 year validity which was to expire in may
                                    3) and many important things which i cant even explain...

                                    I cant expect anything from airtel as its one of the worst mobile service provider in mumbai and it has proved it by doing such an irresponsible and unprofessional act...
