Hi All,
My mobile number is - [protected].
I had called Customer Care on 6th March, 2008 to change my bill plan.But my request was not heeded & the Customer Care Executive informed me that the bill plan cannot be changed until next billing cycle.Then I had requested Airtel for the 'Hotline Plan' in which I had free service from my Cell Number to the new Sim card number I received in the plan.Without my prior notice the bill plan was changed on 11th March, 2008 & I have been wrongly charged for the calls I made to the new Sim card number.The amount which was charged for the calls made on this number is about Rs.1937.00 which should have been ideally free according to the "Hotline Plan".
I had been using Airtel Services since 2 years and had been paying the charges on time.Being an old customer, my request for compensation on the charges is not being granted.Inspite of calling the Customer Care Unit everyday regarding this matter, the Unit is not responding properly.Is this the kind of service Airtel gives to its Customer who has been paying bills regularly since 2 long years ?
I am ready to pay the bill for the other calls I made but I am just requesting compensation for the call charges to my new Sim Card number( got through new Hotline Plan).I dont want to change my number but I also wont pay the charges which are wrongly charged to me.
I hope my request will be considered and please reply me as soon as possible.Hope that you will take right steps within a small span of time and oblige me.

Airtel Postpaid Connection — Problem Regarding Incorrect Processes after the Application of Postpaid Connection.

Myself Jayesh Jayswal from Pune – India, having Prepaid Mobile Connection with more then 1 Year,

Recently I have applied for the Postpaid connection from the same Prepaid connection,

Let me clear each steps which I have followed for the same.



1) Got Contact of Airtel Postpaid Executive with the name as Prashant & Imran from following Number:[protected] / 30 ,[protected], Selected the Plan of Postpaid with 599/- INR Monthly Rent.

2) One of tose Executive named Prasanna having Number as +91 [protected] Came to my Office address for Collecting All required Documents. Dated by 12th October 2007.

3) On the 13th Oct 2007, I got Call Of Varification Officer asking me about my availiblity at the residential billing address.

4) On the 18th Oct 2007, I asked Prashant about the status of the applied Postpaid connection, as a result I found that Varification Officer has given Negative remarks to my residential billing address without doing actual Varification at the Address.

5) I asked to do varification again as this remarks was totally wrong. Based on this request Prashant has emailed Varification Department to Schedule this varification again on 19th October 2007.

6) As a Result today is 19th October 19, 2007, but yet no one came to varify the address.

7) Now whom can I ask for this schedule, as Airtel Executive says that they have sent mail for new schedule and more then this they can’t do anything.







Now main Question is that how can a Varification Officer Perform Varification without checking the actual address !!!.

I totally agree with you. as i am also the victim for the same case. In fact my registration is ok by still have not received the sim card. my total communication is blocked. I don't understand why did I took this step to convert my perpaid tp postpaid. i even didn't had the contact no. of those peoples. some how I pulled out[protected] no. from my received call. and trying to reach them but past 5 days no one is answering the call. so thought of searching for their postal address on google and reached on this page. what a luck. I request you to give their postal address if you have it ! I will take their case.

Airtel — Wrong Bill And Deficiency in Service And Wrong Charge Bill

Sir,
I afraid from your service as well as your unjustified billing system. My mobile no.-[protected].i am getting lots of problem in your service but no body of your customer executive are going to handled with the problems of subscriber. Last month my service bared by the you. Despite the several request to your executive for copy of bill but I am continuously paying the bill without the bill. My regret information as follows:
1. In the Month of September i did not received your bill.
2. In the moth of October you never sent me bill but I received on 07/11/2007 for the month of September bill.
3. Without sent me copy of bill I paid you Rs. 800 on 06/10/2007 and Rs.1000/ on 12/10/2007.
4. Your bill was Rs.1765/ but i paid you Rs.1800/
5. On 06/10/2007 my out going call was bared by you without giving any reason for barred.
6. on 12/10/2007 out going and incoming bared by you.
7. I resumed your service on 16/10/2007 at 14:35 pm.
7A. during period of disconnection more than hundred times called to your chief Manager Supervisor and Executive.
8. Still i am facing problem in your connection.
9. On 12/11/2007 you bared my out going service despite m8y due date is 17/11/2007.
10. I talked to ms. Jyoti at about, 7.55 Pm she transferred call to supervisor Ms.Neha but I requested to her for complaint request no. but She refuse to give me CR no.
11.I request to Mr. Ashif At about 9:10 Pm for request No. regarding bill and Resume service still waiting for his complaint request no.
I WANT to Know More About Airtel TO Airtel STD free wheather it should be prepaid/ postpaid. at any cost it will be fine.

Airtel — False reporting by local executive

Dear Sir,
I am an old custmer of airtel and by profession a Chartered Accountant at Durg(C.G.). My telephone no. is[protected].
On date 25th December i received a call from your bhopal office that a scheme is started to provide caller id instruments to customers at cost of Rs. 300.00 to be deducted from bill. Then I said yes and confirmed the offer. After 2-3 days one local executive called me and told that he would be coming in 1-2 hours to install/deliver the aforesaid instrument. But since then when i didn't received the instrument i reverted to local Durg Airtel office where we were told that the scheme is over. Then on date 17th January when i called to your bhopal office (Complaint No.[protected] Miss Harshita at your bhopal office told that since you have one confirmed on telephone but later on spot you have refused for the instrument and now the scheme is closed and you can not receive the instrument. When i asked her to lodge complaint against the aforesaid local executive for giving wrong comment , she refused and said that you are not going to receive the instrument further.
Sir I request you to kindly look after the matter and take necessary action against the false reporting

Airtel Services — Bad and illliterate customer care representative and bad postpad services

My Incoming call were barred as amt of 256 was not paid but as creditibility is upto 800 which is taken in advance.
Secondly when in called airtel call center at 10;30 dated 22/01/08 i talked to rajesh shah i told him about my problem but main problem was that he was not able to get what is my problem because he was not able to speak in english and not even to answers my question as i am sure he was not able to understand english.
Than again i called at 10:45 talked to alwin same thing happened.
so i insisted to talked to seniors or manager or any responsible person who can understand english and can try to solve my concern.
But both customer care representative answer were that their is no senior,managers,team leaders or floor walkers around them so they cant transfer their calls.
Plz look into it and hire atleast who can solve customers concern
and who can understand english.

AirTel — giving wrong information.

WE ARE HAVING A BROADBAND CONNECTION FROM AIRTEL IN MADURAI,TAMILNADU.In NOVEMBER 2008,A REPRESENTATIVE FROM AIRTEL SAID THAT THEY ARE OFFERING A SIMCARD FOR 150 MINUTES TALKTIKME FREE,150 MESSAGES FREE.BUT AFTER GETTING THE SIMCARD WE ARE SHOCKED THAT THERE WARE NOTHING FREE.WHY THE COMPANY IS PROVIDING SUCH A WRONG INFORMATION.MY TELEPHONE NUMBER IS [protected].

Airtel — Billing Issues since One Year

Hello

After one year discussion and fight between Airtel and me due miss understanding as per last cases are concerned that finally i have to pay Rs 2000 but still it is showing me that i have to pay Rs 2400 and before that i was Rs 3400
I already lost One year rent and now airtel is charging me near about Rs 1000 saying that it is Balance from last account which i am unable to Pay and my pocket does nott allow me to do so
I have paind all bills on time and i don't know where from this pending amount to my account that after one year.

AirTel disconnected my Serivces three times from last three months without any information and i lost my important phone calls and fault is yours

Please activate my services and correct my bill issue ASAP else I request you to Please D I S C O N N E CT my services ASAP because i am not going to use this nonsence service any more

hai this is kadharjaml from salem, my mobile no : [protected] the matter is last march 17 i had get corperat connectin in airtel from B.KCELL response saravanan.i was get 249 scheme with 5000 sms back..he was filled the forms&throw it.i agree the sceme with sms back...so i didn't care...i was send offer sms further..later 19/march some one calling in airtel cuscomer care.his told u didn't activate 5000sms pack.. i was affrait.. repeatly i told i was activate 5000 sms on my sim activate date onwards.. his told ok&no promblem v r activate this& give some suggestion..that's u send to cc sms pack msg, i was able& on the second i idid send sms pack activation msg to cc..the next second airtel was reply ur sms pack activate in 24 hours., i agree on airtel service., then i was send sms's..22/march was airtel cc called me for thanks for get my connectiin & he told ur sms pack already activately.., then i was very agreely... but i was very very affrait on april/10..this date was billing date..bill was reflict u r unbilled usage amount rs.3950... i can't under stand.. what did go on... i was call to cc...his told ur sms pack not activate & u r sms usuage rs.2950.. i was totaly confused..i have this msg i unable to further...i was complaing to cc, his get my complaint& till on never response my qurries...anotherly main matter i am a sales manager in mnc... i had in very response position., last april/11 was my outgoing call bored.. i totally unable to my offcial communication..when am a authority position in my job...am totally loss my offical& in offical..i was qurrie to correct my scheme bill ., but still on any one response my words.. am ready to pay my promt bill... totay another big issue in ur service from me INCOMING BORED... Airtel Post Paid Mobile Connection — Cheated by a Airtel Customer Care Executive

Hi All,

I had put in a request for a Airtel post paid connection by calling on their customer care number: [protected], service request no: 11696. Since I wanted a corporate connection, I was told that their executive will get in touch with me in 4 hrs. Mr Mahesh (the AIRTEL executive) called and came down to my office wherein I gave him all the required documents and Rs 299 as first month's advance rental instead of a security deposit. He said he would after 2 days to give me the new number, which he didnt so I called him to get the number.

When the number didn't get activated even after 4 days, I called him (and his boss Mr Waseem) but both didn't take my calls. Finally Mahesh picked up on the 6th day and said my application has been rejected as the address proof I'd given him was not accepted. This address was issued by my company on a company letter head, used by all other new joinees wanting a new connection. I told him I want my money back which he said he will return but still hasn't even after almost 2 weeks after I'd applied for the connection. He and his manager both have stopped taking my calls now and when I call on the AIRTEL customer care number, the executive says he cann't help me.

For Grievance Redressal I tried the AIRTEL the Nodal and Appellate officers' numbers but both are either busy or no one picks up.

I have now finally settled down with Vodafone which has not only offered me a better plan but also better service!

AIRTEL has not only cheated me with money but also truly disappointed me enough to never use AIRTEL products or services in future.

Airtel India — Incorrect Information given.

I purchased a datacard and the salesman in the Airtel shop told me that it would be up and running in 1 hrs - 4hrs.Its been like more than 12 but its still not activated.trying to contact the customer service and the tech support is useless as they have already told to go and contact the salesman.

What is the customer servcie deptt doing if i have to drive 15 kms to go back to the place where i purchased it from?Was the promise of activating the datacard made only to procure the sale?

First dealing with Airtel and that too a disaster.

Airtel Postpaid Connection — wrong information by customer care executive

Dear Sir,

I was mis-guided by one of the executive of airtel post paid customer care. He suggest me to opt a Rs. 444/- per month commitment plan, in which u will get full talk time of Rs. 444/- in local and STD call and your tariff plan will be all local call is .50 paisa per minute and STD will be Rs. 1/- per minute. They have told me that u will get full discount up to Rs. 444/- . But I was shocked to see my bill. In the bill they have given me half discount on my local calls, when i spoke to customer care they told upto Rs. 444/- your call charges will be Rs. 1/- in local and STD Call and you will be get half discount on local bill, when i said at the time of opting the scheme your executive had not told me all these thing. He did not listen to me and he said you are not telling truth, then i told him before conversation your systems infome that this call may be recorded for the internal training purpose and than please check the recording otherwise you write my complaint for not clearing me your plan but he refuse to write the complaint but again and again my request he write my complaint but no body has taken the action as yet complaint no. is[protected]

Airtel — Billing information not updated and wrongly charged

I had made a payment of Rs1400 in cash to a Airetl Retailer who made the payment on my behalf through his mobile on May 23 2008. Immediately after the payment I got a sucessful message with a transaction id ([protected]). I called up the customer care executive to check whether it was credited aganist my account. The executive said that the server was down and the bill will be updated within the next 24 hours.
After 10 days I got a call from Airtel stating that I have not paid the bill. To my surprise I found that my bill was not updated. Now the customer care is asking for a printed receipt, kowing fully that a SMS cannot have a receipt. I have made at least 10 calls to the customer care, but till date I have not got any replies. I have been using Airtel for more than 1.5 years and have never made any late payement till date.

this is vinod my no is [protected] I applied for Rs. 450 plan But by your executive mistake I got 99 plan and I did STD calls according to 450 plan in which TATA to TATA free and I got A Bill of Rs 2500. I have complained in customer care two times (complaign no. are[protected] on 29th june and[protected] on 3rd july) but till now i did not get any solution related to previous bill amount, yes plan has changed now but due to privious bill amount i am not able to call anywhere.
I have call to customer care lots of time but they are not able to solve this problem.
I have visited to TATA office on Richmond road but they are also not behaving well.
Now your executive Dileep and sarvana also not picking phone their numbers are [protected]. Once they have told that its their mistake and they will pay me only Rs. 1800 out of Rs. 2500 bill.
Now after waiting many days I am mailing you If I will not get Any responce I will not pay this bill and I will not be responsible for it.

Airtel Postpaid Connection — Wrong Billing

My father a Customer of AirTel in UP East Circle (Mob No-[protected]) is facing continously problems from AirTel.

Despite the disconnection of his No on 03/05/08(Verified by the Customer Care Executive of airtel) batill getting bills and forced to pay.

He was also served a legal notice on 9/08/08 for the same.
Please help me out.
I can confirm these statements by Airtel staff at the customer relationship center at Jagatpuri, East Delhi. This was exactly what was told to my mother when she went to get a new connection - Rs. 444 plan, which includes 444 minutes of talk time and sms, and beyond that, 50p/m for local calls and Re1/m for STD calls.

Airtel Postpaid — Wrong information given about Airtel Postpaid Scheme

I took Airtel postpaid connection from last month and from where I took they told me the wrong schemes about this postpaid connection.
They told me that in this scheme first 200 mins Airtel to Any connection is free but I got recent bill in which they mentioned 200 mins Airtel to Airtel free.
So please took some strict steps for them and I want each and every information about this complaint that I put up into this.
So please took action as early as possible.
Even my wife's bill also showing that the complete waiver is not given. On STD, its almost half of the amount as discount while on the local, its the almost same kind of money but nowhere it is around 444 what was promised.

postpaid 199 scheme — not able to discountinue service & being charged for it

i had recently subscribed for job alerts, as it was mentioned it was free alerts
but this month i got a message from 54321 stating i have been deducted 75 rs
for alerts.
i visited airtel customer care but they said i surfed airtel live thats why that amount is being deleted.
now i want to discountinue this service but am not able to do it & bing charged for it
i get 3 alerts everyday from 54321

Hello I am Prashant sharma .It is with great annoy that I wish to bring to ur kind notice that I have suffered bya problem and it is indeed sad that your department has turned a deaf ear to my written and oral complaint followed by several reminders...

1. From last 3 days I get a message 3 to 4 times a day from no. 64611001 that ...

I got 8 messages today from same number despite of the fact that I have not activated GPRS in my phone and never opened airtel live ...
to solve this problem i hav called too many times to customer care center and everytime they told that their is some technical problem so they can't tell my status, tats rediculous...

So it is difficult to believe that such thing should have happened under ur efficient control. Pls get the needful done at the earliest, otherwise i will have to take a legal action against this service along with my organization.

I am getting fake bill thru SMS on my mobile for fix landline no of airtel having a/c no. 11578413, which I don't have. I am getting message since one year. I made complain several time at customer care but, they refuse to change mobile no. on which alter message being sent.

I am requesting the person who is having fix landline no. with above a/c no. to change the registered mobile no. to receive alter message for bill.

Airtel Post Paid — wrong cancellation of sim card

Please refer to my mobile no. [protected] under Sachin Plan with advance rental upto Feb. 2, 2009. On April 14, 2008 I went to seek advice from your office at civil lines, Allahabad (now in-front of Patrika press ) as I was going abroad on visitors Visa. I was advised to make advance payment of RS. 500=00 to meet payments of future bills which was duly complied by me .On my return on Oct.. 14, 2008 I went to the above mentioned office and was told that my Sim has been cancelled and all advances forfeited. When I asked for details of expenditure I was very rudely that it will not be given to me. On my enquiry about the address of superior officer, I was bluntly told she was the boss .The reason for the rude behavior of the lady may be due to hindrance produced by me in their festive party going on at that time. Earlier on April14, 2008 I was told that the company has picked me a favorite customer and that I can have another Sim on nominal monthly charges which I fortunately refused. I feel cheated, ill-advised and humiliated by your staff. I request you to look into my case as service charges were paid in advance and I followed the advice given to me by your staff ( by depositing RS.500/ in advance ) and restore my Sim.

Airtel postpaid connection billing — wrong bills, auto-renewing of services

It is regrading my airtel postpaid connection ph. no [protected] which is on my brother's name i.e. Jagdeep Singh. I have been using it since past 4 years. but from past 4 to 5 months i have been receiving few messages from airtel regarding activation of services like 'Shayari', 'On Demand Services' and 'Y! Zone' . these are the services which are auto renewed on my phone every month without any of my request or my concent. I have been regulary charged extra for the same. in Sept 2008 i also got a relaxation of Rs. 235/- after continuous requests to Airtel. Every month coustomer care persons says the messages will not be repeated, but they don't stop sending me the messages and extra charges. This time I decided to disconnect the no. which is ofcource going to be a great prblem to me as i m using this no. for long time. the executive at airtel spoke quite rude and didn't help me out. I have also activated 'Do Not Disturb' on my phone but still i get disturbed by such messages. Kindly Help

Hi All I Am Getting very bad service form airtel now days last time i called 121 regarding my nop issue but that guy is not solved my probm but he discountinued my service so without my req how you should disconnect that service and 1 more very big issue i make an comaplnt regarding my network issue but till date i am not getting any call or sms for that so may i know what is the excaclty issue and what is steps airtel are taking to improve his services bcoz of these issue only i close my 1 connection [protected] if that prbm will not be solved so i am extrmely sorry to say i am not going to pay any single penny for that preveous i am also working with airtel that time i am getting very good services but now days i dont know what is happening to the Airtel so plz update on the same else i have to close this connection

Airtel Postpaid — incorrect billing & not responding to request

I had applied twice to close the telephone no. [protected] in november & 15th december but despite my repeated request the company is not showing any interest to close my no and adding on to my bill.
every time customer care executive pretend to motivate me not to close the no.But to make his points he enters the comments in his favour, that he had satisfied me with his plans and motivated me not to close the no. This is utter nonsense and i am being harrassed in this note. This is my request that kindly close the no.immediately and penalise those who are guilty or i will be compelled to go to the consumer court. help from your side is highly admissible.

Bharti Airtel Limited — wrong infromation from customer care executive and hence wrong billing

we requested to disconnect the mobile connection number [protected](post paid connection ) on 25 th sept 2009 (request no[protected] but it is not disconnected till date and the billing are continue.All these are the only due to wrong information given by the Customer Care Executive. I asked to disconnect it permanently not temporary. Instead of doing so they lodged the request as the customer asked to convert it into prepaid in near future. Due to such wrong infomation from the customer care executive, Airtel is billing me (which is wrong)continuously without any break. Prior to the above request I never been defaulter in paying bills(in 2 years period) and so i never expect such lacuna from you.
The sim was well destroyed in the first week of October. Please look into the matter and solve the inconveneience to the customer and disconnect it with immediate effect.

The same number was deactivated (after call from Customer care executive side) well at start of first week of Oct-2008 and hence we paid the latest bill and destroyed the sim and thrown away the same.I was never been defaulter in paying the bills prior to such request (2 years period).I am surprised once the bills are continued against the number and when asked at customer relationship center, they told that the number is not disconnected as per Customer request.

Please look into the matter for Customer inconvenience.I am not liable to pay anything due to wrong billings as a result of wrong feedback by the Customer Care Executive.

Dear Sir,
This complaint is meant for Airtel India, its repersentatives and poor customer service dealings.
I am holding a mobile with pre paid connection of Airtel India no. [protected](Delhi).This complaint is for two problems faced by me while using my phone and feel cheated by Airtel India.I am a very old user of Airtel India and feel helpless to even address my problems to Airtel.every time i call up Airtel the standard relpy of reverting back within 48 hours is given which never turns up.This complaint is to address my problems to hopefully right people of Airtel, who may like to investigate the same and possibly rely me:
#1) I enquired the calling value of Rupees 112 on my mobile by sending SMS...RC 112(to know thw calling value on Rs.112) on no. 170 and quickly got the reply Recharge Value 112 And Calling Value 97.68 Validity 0 days...Which reflets, as i understand that on Recharging of Rupees 112 i shall get talk time for the value of Rs.97.68.I recharged my mobile at 20.50.16 hours on 5th Feb.'09 for Rs.112 from B1 Market Janak Puri, New Delhi against transcation ID[protected], but it showed talk time of Rs.11.12.Even These Rs.11.12 are not carried forward in my account.I once again checked by sending SMS for getting reply to querry of RC 112 at 20.55.17 Hours and once again reply was the same calling value (i.e. rs.97.68).Confused with this immediately i called up the help line number 121 and explined my problem to the repersentative.The gentleman put me on hold for 45 seconds and requested me to speak to his supervisior and connected me to him.I once again narrated my problem to this gentle man (Supervisior), who identified himself as Rajneesh.This gentleman (unlike his subordinate )defied my statement and gave me the shocker.He told me that u should be knowing that on Rs.112 there is a package of Rs 1112 SMS airtel to Airtel and no Talk time. I told him i was not aware about any such package and in order to get the talk time i simply went according to the reply to the querry sent on no. 170.On this he replied that brouchers for the SMS package are affixed every where and it was my duty to see those materials. I was really shocked with his beheaviour, tone he was using to talk to me .when i objected to this he even threatened that YOU CAN GO ANY WHERE WITH YOUR COMPLAINT.I must say this person was utmost rude in beheaviour and has complelled me to think about continuing to use the services of Airtel any more and break a very old bonding i had with Airtel.Unfortunately i am holding 3 airtel connections for myself and family and my brother is using a larger volume of Airtel services for his business and personal use.
#2) I am using the mobile which does not support Airtel Live, whereas on 30 Jan2009 at 15:23:20 Hours i got a sms from Airtel No.64611020 which read as.."Thanks for using (subscriptions, text based service on Airtel WAP. You have been Charged Rs.20."This was not the first time i received such an SMS Till around 1 month back i used to get such msgs every week and on my complaint to Airtel on No.121, they acknowledged the error committed and refunded back on very few occasions.This time also i lodged my protest for the same on no. 121 but to no avail.The representative even told me to visit Airtel outlet (Which is quite far off from my residence)and show this msg to them as he was not able to see the SMS on his computer.
I am really disgusted complaining for the same problem again and again and no solution was ever given to me.It is sort of CHEATING with the customers.

Hope my problems will go to the right hands of Airtel who may like to do the justice and end harrasing the customers like me and put polite and professional individuals to help the customer and not let them feel cheated and helpless.

Airtel — Wrong bill number charged in our account

Hi,

I am using Airtel no. [protected] and from past 3 months i am complaing to airtel customer care that the bill number of the mobile no. [protected] which they are charging in our bill account is not ours and neither we have purchased the card for anyone else, but they are not paying any attention to our complain and are repeating the same mistake again and again.

I dont know what mistake they have made, since in their record the address is ours and the card is in some societies name "International Society for Krishna Consciousness" which i have never heard nor i know where it is. I stay in Malad (East).

After explaining them several time that its not my card they are not paying attention to it. I had personally gone to airtel customer care centre to complain but they didnt pay much attention. They only tried ones to call up the number and as the number was just ringing, they didnt even bother to call again to verify who the person is and all his details.

Seeing this i even complained about it to their nodal officer through mail and a written letter but till date the problem is unsolved. I am really frustated so i need your help in solving this problem as soon as possible.

I hope the complains which are posted are gone through and are just on the site to see how many people know abt this site and are complaining i really hope that the complaints which are registered with your site are dealt with and people are happy to see that their problem is solved.

I would also like it if you really help me in solving this problem and just dont disappoint me by proving that this just like other site where ppl complaint but it goes unheard.

Dear Vikas, I totally understand what problem you are facing. The same thing happened with my Airtel number being used by my wife. The customer care called my number and said why your bill is so low. When my wife said we have opted for the airtel jackpot 249 plan with 350 minutes local mobile calls free and our usage is like this. They have activated a plan called 900 minutes local free @ Rs 300 per month over and above the 249 plan. When we complained on receiving the bill of March they gave a discount and confirmed the plan will be deactivated. In the month of march again the same problem and now they say they cannot waive the amount as the plan was activated by us the consumer. I have all the documentry proof as I correspond with all these private operators only by EMAIL and they cannot get away with it. My suggestion to you, send only mails and do not call the 121 customer care. You will see the difference. Also you can take up the matter with the Nodal officer of Airtel and if he does not respond. You can send mail to TRAI complaint cell and hope for some action. Best of luck to us as we are fighting the same battle with these frauds.

Asked for disconnection but charged advance rent for next two year and now sent to legal cell for recovery.

I had mobile no. [protected] advance rental plan for one year. Before completion of 1 year I had called to customer care and asked for disconnection, but we get the bill with next two year advance rent charged, however my connection has been disconnected.
I had lodged my complaint in customer care and then the nodal officer. Nodal officer had suggested me to pay the only call charges and the charge levied for next two year will be waived off. I paid the call charges accordingly.
But to our surprise today I got a call from some lawyer office regarding the recovery of charges levied for next two year.

Is there my fault to have a airtel no. Now i suggest to all not to take any airtel no.

Please look in to the matter and do the needful.

Airtel — wrong information provided by cust care & got charged for that

I had activated GPRS (mobile office) service on 02.06.09 at 9.54pm. I used it for two days & been charged Rs.50 for the same. On 04.06.09 it was not renewed as I was not having sufficient balance. As I got the msg that service can not be renewed due to insufficient balance I thought service is de-activated. I recharged my no on 05.06.09 at 12.34pm but didnt get msg that service is renewed. I got charging msg on 05.06.09. When I called cust care, they said this service was activated on 06.06.09 at 9.54am. So I kept it active for using it for 06.06.09 & will de-activate it on 07.06.09 before 9.54am as I was informed from cust care (abt activfation time).

I have been charged Rs.25 excess due to wrong info provided by cust care.

This in regards to the outstanding bill of my airtel mobile no:[protected]
I have been using this no: for the last one year and now I really regret having it.
My issues are as follows: -

1. Despite of placing a request at 121 more than 20 times, the bills are not delivered at my postal address.

2. The address change has taken place after 6 months of our movement.
I had submited an application at your Airtel office in Sector 18 and had placed a Request at 121 also several times. You can check the cal logs against my mobile number.

3. No information was provided at the time of activating Rs 350 local calls pack .
I haven’t received any call regarding this, thus no confirmation.
The prove to this is, You can check my bills for the last one year, its very rare that I make local calls . Most of the calls made by me are STD.
If at all you guys say a confirmation was given I would like to hear the call .
Your executives do anything for the heck of earning incentives and perks.

4. I taken a no rental plan, at the time of taking the connection I wasn’t informed
that i need to renew it every year . The year cycle ended in April, At your own
glory, my plan was changed to a monthly rental of Rs 399.

5. I had been promised to receive a settlement letter by one of your executive, who
had come for collection of bill, haven’t received anything as yet .

6. My number has been deactivated, even the incoming without any prior notice .

And as a Resoultion they send an Auto generated mail saying that there bills are generated by very efficent softwares, so prblem could be there in billings.
They , Customer care guy doesnt know that the confirmation of activating a bill pla is given and taken by humans not machine ..

It clearly states that they never read my mail, and just sent me a pre typed mail ...

Despite of sending mails and logging complaints on 121 as well as with your Airtel Gallery, there is no response from your side. The service level given by you to me is more than a “THIRD CLASS”
I have done the analysis of the bills received from the billing cycle (11-Feb[protected]Mar-2008) to (17-May[protected]June-2009). I have found out that the detailing billing and the summary billing was having differences which amounted to Rs. 1, 681/- (Rupees One Thousand Six Hundred Eighty One Only). Secondly I have still not received the feedback for which I have logged a call 2 years back (i.e. in the year 2007 August). I had taken 2 more connections of Airtel in the name of my wife (Mrs. Shilpa Jayant Pandit), the plan applied and delivered to me was different, in that case I had refused to accept that. Still your company has deposited the cheques and was cleared from back amounting to Rs.1, 200/- (Rupees Twelve Hundred Only). Actual refund to be claimed from your is Rs. 1, 681/- + Rs. 1, 200/- = Rs. 2, 881/- (Rupees Two Thousand Eight Hundred Eighty One Only). I have marked the mail copy to TRAI so that they can help me out in this matter.

This is Dipti.My mobile number is [protected].I have been using Airtel postpaid connection for the past two years. I paid my last airtel bill in March.In April, I received bill of Rs.1600/-Usally it is approximately 400-500 Rs.
I never hv high usage. I contacted customer care many times.Just got complaint numbers and promises.
I told them that I wont pay unless solution is provided to my complaint.
Later my outgoing was stopped all of a sudden.I contacted customer care again. then i received call from airtel saying that plz provide us bill amount and outgoing will start the same day.
I asked them to collect cheque and told them it will be honoured if outgoing is stared. They promised it will be started in 4 hours.Instead my incoming wwas stopped on the same day..Hence i dishonoured the cheque.I hv been calling up customer care as well contacting airtel till date. No satisfactury solution provided till date.Suddenly 2 days back I received a lawyers notice to pay the bill amount in 15 days.
again i tried to contact airtel.
I received a mail from airtel on my email id asking asking me to pay an amount of Rs.4460.26 /-
I tried to contact airtel on numbers provided, but they are just nt providing details.
When i hv not used the mobile for 2 months, how can bill amount increase?
First of all there is discrepency in the original bill am, ount.

So I called customer care in last january and told to cancle may connection.That time the customer care executive told me not to cancle connection and he gave me one offer.I dont know whi he was.He told me if I dont cancle the connection he will give me zero rental plan for six months and if i use the number meanwhile then only the usage will be charged.Thus he convinced me.So I went abroad without any concern.
But when i returned, I saw all the bills of six months.And it was more than 1000/-.This is total cheating from you.Customer care assured me that there will be zero rental for six months.Only usage will be charged.But you have cheated me.

You are requested to arrange any technician to demonstrate or to explain that how any body can do such sms. We have not used this service at all and there is no record in my mobile also, even though huge amount is charged in my bill.
This is the matter of worry for me as well as for you also. Doubt of subbotage from your any employee or any competitors cannot be ignored. You are requested to do sincere inquiry in the matter and I am ready to cooperate for the same.
I am very unhappy with the reply of your all officer as you all are considering me as a criminal. You don't have trust on me. You just try to trust me and solve out my problem. b. I got post paid connection from Airtel on 08.09.2009. I paid Advance Rs.300.00/- for this connection.My post paid plan monthly rental scheme is Rs.249 + S.T. I have used this post paid connection till 12.09.2009.

c. When i had used the phone on 12.09.2009, it shows SIM card Registration failed. When i approached the customer care regarding this on 13.09.2009 at 1130 hrs, Customer care Executive name is Mr.Manikandan, he simply asked about my complaints and convinced me to get a clarification within 24 hrs and also he received my alternative mobile number for if have any clarification. But i didn't receive even single call or Message from Airtel. On same day evening again i called to Customer care, Exe name is Mr.Saravanan replied me on above said same. Again Afterthat i contact Customer care on 14.09.2009 at 0945hrs and complaint severly, Exe Ms.Shobana didn't replied me properly. Then again evening i contact Cus.Care Ms.Lakshmi, she promised to re activate my account with in 4 hours. Time has left. But i didn't get prompt response from Airtel.

d. Airtel has advertising more than 10 croes of customer their operation expanding across the India. If Airtel maintain their customer standard, Airtel must rectify the customer query on prompt. Otherwise Airtel has chance for loss the customer due to their very poor services.

e. Here I wrote my experience for got a post paid, I put my question l what i ask to Airtel na Whether Airtel may refund my advance or not?

f. Here i write my comlaints, TRAI { Telecommunication Regulatory Authority of India) ensure to Service providers are must consider the customer' queries to solve at the earliest.

The immediate day I paid this amount using my credit card.i.e I gave the photocopy of my credit card to your representative directly on which I wrote to cancel these two numbers(he came to my office to collect that copy) and also called his Team Leader from his cell number to close these two numbers(mentioned above) after debiting this amount as I don t want to continue with your services After this amount was debited from my card I thought my numbers were cancelled. But later after three days I found these two sim cards are activated. Then Immediately I called customer care executive Mr.Ghouse and other executives and asked for disconnection. Then He said that I need to pay Rs.669 - for the number [protected].I was shocked for the mis-communication given to me by your customer care earlier that I need to pay only Rs.1419 -.And now you are asking for Rs.669 -. I quarelled with them for this mis-communication.Then they said that it is enough if I pay Rs.335 - towards [protected] and they will close this number. After this I got a call from your customer care(my wife received this call and conveyed this message to me) that Rs.2088 - will be debited from my ICICI credit card for the above two numbers if I give permission to them. I was shocked again. My wife told them to call later. But after three days i.e on 5th October 2009 I got a message ICICI credit card with card number [protected] that an amount of Rs.2088 - was debited from my account towards Bharti Airtel !

What is this Non-sense What is your customer care billing collection agents representatives were doing First of all what is this amount And why it is debited from my card I am telling them in my every call to disconnect these two numbers but they did not care my words till today. And Even after paying this final amounts of Rs.1419 - and Rs.335 - what is this amount Rs.2088 - How can you debit this amount from my credit card If I want to give complaint on Collection executive team leaders (people who collected the payment) ur customer care people are telling like they don t have any phone numbers of these people Finally what I want is give me reversal for the Amount Rs.2088 -. I want u to take immediate action within 12 hours and disconnect the two numbers after receiving this mail. And also intimate me immediately over phone.

I have opted for the 50p STD scheme by recharging Rs 57, I was told that for STD charges will be 50p per min and in first call of the day for STD Rs 1.50 will be deducted.
But surprisingly when I made STD call and talk about the 5 min, from my prepaid connected airtel had deducted 10 Rs from the account. When I contacted in Call center of Airtel, they told It will deduct Rs 1.50 for every minute of first CALL. It mean I had conversation for 5 min 1.5x5 for deduction and 2.5 for call charges as per 50p per STD min.

I means I called STD @ 2Rs per min which higher then my normal plan which STD @1.50p.

Can you please justify the above calculation and how you keep customer not aware of this kind of hidden cost.

Please let me know.

airtel is one of the leading pathetic service providers of the country. they hire illiterate people and collection agencies who don't even have the basic manners of communication. they lure you with tempting plans followed by highly inflated bills. their customer care executives don't pay any heed to complaints. you are left with no other option but to pay the bills and vow not to use any of its services ever again. airtel, r u listening?

    We are sending this mail to you from MAAC INFRA

    We had booked Airtel broadband connection through one of your Territory Sales Manager Mr. Jitender Duggal by paying an advance amount of Rs. 5000/- vide cheque no. 000405 dated 08/01/2008. The receipt number given to us is 52805 dated 18/01/08 with SEF no. 794199.

    Airtel has failed to provide us connection at that time and we have wasted our precious 45 days due to non availability of pair or line etc…Later on we could find another manager who could provide us the connection with less hassle. But so far the amount of Rs. 5000/- submitted as advance amount is still pending from Airtel to us.

    Even after reminding Mr. Jitender Duggal almost 15 times and regular follow up our payment in last three months, we are yet to receive our deposited amount of Rs. 5000/-which is due from your end.

    You are requested to kindly make the above payment at the earliest to avoid any further action from our end.

    We shall look forward for your reply and action on this subject at the earliest.

    Airtel India — DEACTIVATION FOR NON PAYMENT OF RS 500 MONTHLY BILL, WHILE LIMIT PROMISED WAS RS 1000

    YOU ARE RUDE

    My mobile phone no [protected] got deactivated with PUK locked while I was in Cyprus. I wonder why these things happen to your system especially for non- payment of Rs 487.50 monthly bill which I do pay regularly. In case of default in payment of monthly bills however small be the amount, your system oriented debarring service can hold at stake the communication just because I did not pay your Rs 300- 500 in time.

    Shame on your system and I pity myself to be at mercy of such shameless sorry- thank-you help lines, which do not care to pick up phone calls after sending the caller through computerised ordeal. I tried thrice on Sunday but your phone banking went silent, just preferred not to pick up the calls on Sunday.
    Please tell me the physical address of a man who listens to me and in case he also turns out helpless, the esteemed address for breaking my head in front of a competent Airtel man before I throw your SIM card.
    This is the third occasion when my SIM card got blocked since 2004 for non payment of petty monthly bill of Rs 300-500 in time. When last time I was about to throw your SIM card a wise man from AIRTEL promised me not to repeat such cheap tricks of stoppage of communication/ deactivation for an outstanding below Rs 1000.00.

    Who cares AIRTEL is all about systems and inconvenience to its old Customers...

      my broadband connection was shifted from one DP to another.
      i was told that my connection will start as soon as it will be shifted ...its 3 days but there is no connectivity in my connection...
      this is ridiculous ..i have suffered a lot due this problem ..now i am thinking to drop this coonection..
      and i have faced a loss also by not having connectivity..this places a very bad impression on cunsumer ...and will also suggest people not to go for this connection...

      I had broadband connection with telephone no 43063395. I shifted from Flat No. 112, New Delhi Apartment, Vasundhra Enclave Delhi 110096 . I handed over the application to Airtel represenattive on 17-Apr-10 for shifting. But I was told Airtel facility is not available at the new location

      I informed to cancel my connection on 20-Apr-10 through Airtel Sales Manager Mr Nazaf (Mobile [protected]). Surprisingly The connection is still active. I have no outstanding till the last bill.

      If airtel is not disconnecting the phone. I would not be responsible for any future unwanted bill

        Hi,
        I am using an airtel no [protected], Which actually belongs to bombay but is currently used in akola city. We received our bill forfebruary, We contacted the local airtel gallery for payment of the bill, the bill being slightly higher than expected we enquired whether we were put up with roaming charges, THe airtel executive delayed our complaint for 2 long months and kept us waiting reasurring each time that the problem will be solved in further short span.
        Same pattern continued and so our service was barred for non payement of bill.
        We had to suffer inconvenience and losses as our service was barred al because of the delay made by the airtel employee.Further on payment of the bill after two months from other airtel other, The system is as yet not started, as the other gallery officer too has not updated our bill despite of it's payement 2 days ago .
        What do we do now ?????????
        The customer can provide us with no help at all ...as the officer has not updated our bill as yet !

          I have sent a sms to 121 GPRS to activate the gprs service on mobile on 21/3/08 at 8.53.35 at 15.05.23 I sent a message to 121 MYVAS but grps was activated, at 16.49.46 I contact customer care exuection but gprs was activiated again tat of 4 hours give at 17.22.37 the service was activates on mobile. Then I spoke to one of the supervisor Seema about the quality of service and I told to deactivate the gprs. At the same time i sent a message to deactivate the gprs service.

          Again on 22/3/08 I got a message that gprs is activated as per my request whereas I informed to deactivate the gprs service.

          On 30/03/08 I called and informed that activiate gprs service on mobile but I got a message saying that net on phone is activates on my mobile, when I sent a message i also spoke to one of the customer care executive and I clearly told him to activate the gprs service on mobile. Then again I called and informed the customer executive to deactive all the service from my account whether it is gprs or net on phone, I dont want the service of airtel at all.

          On 17/4/08 at 00.45.10 I sent a message to 121 to activate gprs on mobile, i got a receipt mentioning that service will be activiate in 4 hours. at 9.7.5 I called customer exuection he told that still gprs service is not activiated on my mobile, when i request him to transfer the call to the supervisor he said supervisor is bussy on another line and he will back after 0.5 hours and service will also be activiated in 0.5 hour.

          Till 18/4/08 time 11.36.10 the service was not activated on my mobile I called customer care execution and spoke to Mr. Jadhav he also told me that the service will be activiate within 2 hours, I told him to transfer the call to the supervisor, he first declined when I shouted on him he transferred the call to Ms. Smita. She was so roude and she does not know how to talk with the customer, she does not have any right to sit at supervisory level if she dont know the meaning of customer care. After a huge argument I told her to give me the details of my bills about the gprs charges, we was telling me to check on the web site, I told her that I am requesting you to give me gprs service you are not giving me the service then how can I check my bell on net. I told to take request to provide me the detail report of all the charges leived on me because of gprs & net on phone and from when to when the charges applied.

          She was not ready to leson to my request she was just repeting that you have to check on web or I have to pay Rs. 50/- for the same. After a huge argument she kept my phone on hold for more than 1 & 5 hour.

          I would like to request you to check the case throughly and take the necessary action, because I dont thing that I am wrong at any point.

          And also I would like to have all details that how many time I contacted 121 for assistance, what was the communication.

          I have taken the post connection on 3rd feb 2009, MR Rajesh from Airtel as per the his explination & 199AES plan he offerd me, this plan says monthly rental 199Rs - 300minutes free talk time +100SMS free after this usage each call will be 40 paisa & SMS will be 50 paisa, i agreed his plan & i have taken sim card but at the time of activation he has activated some other plan, & also he generated one more Sim card on my same address, this information i got when i was got message from airtel bill of 488Rs and due date will be 21st feb i got surpriced, even i have not used whatever the offer of 199AES plan &
          i got billing message & suddenly called up airtel customer care office, enquired about it,
          they said Sir you have taken two connection & bill will come to you only, actually i have taken only one connection, what is happening in airtel post paid connection everything they r playing their decision

          please kindly look at this prolem & solve this Issue & hope you Guy's do it past

            I was having Plan 499/- in which local calls and Airtel Call within circle are free
            Up to 4th January 08 the same plan was activated on my no. But the bill I received for the period 5-01-08 to 4-02-08 received with plan 150. I had never applied for plan change but the same was getting done from your end. Your organization has never bothered to inform me about the plan change. On enquiring at customer desk no one give me any satisfactory answer nor ready to tell how the plan gets changed.

            For past 3 months I am trying to sort this problem but receiving no co-operation from your end. On top of that my number gets barred and after repeated follow up with your organization, no one taking pain to look into the matter. Inspite of looking into the problem your company and collection executives are giving me calls for collecting payment. I had made a complaint at your office many time but nor answer received. My last complaint number was 5671054 dated 14th April 08. This time also I get assurance but I know with my previous experience no one going to revert. Due to these action and barring of my number I had incurred loss of Rs. 250000/-, who is responsible for the losses and the mantel stress I am going through.

            This is my last letter to you and if this time no one going to look into the problem and resolve my complaint then I have no option but to go to Consumer Forum. As you are committed to provide us best services first time and every time but in my view I am receiving worst services every time and getting mental harassment as a bonus.

            You are requested to please reply at the earliest.

                Hi,

                I am becoming increasingly sick of airtel. The 543212 news pack was activated with out my subscribing. Further, atleast three times I have requested customer care and also followed online instructions for "Unsubscribe". But it still continues.

                HELP ???
                This has happened after my request for no promotional calls.
                What is the legal action ?

                  dear sir/madam,

                  I am Raj Aggarwal. My mobile number is [protected]. i have a complaint about my plan. I have choose the plan of 9999 for 15 months which was finished in january 2008. I have not got any call/message that my plan was going to be finished and after January my new plan was going to be activated automatically of 499 and having a call of airtel to airtel as 40 P. I hav't choosen that plan then how can I be willingly able to pay my bill having 499 as monthly rent. Atleast i should be confirmed once that I want to activate my older plan or the newer plan. This is totally cheating with your older customer because now you are giving the plan of 125 Rs. and having a call of airtel to airtel as 10 P.

                  Now I only want that my new plan should be going to be activated as 125 Rs plan which having 10 P call from airtel to airtel and something should be done with my older bills from january to till now..

                  please confirm that what plan should be activated at my mobile now. please contact me as soon as possible at my mobile number because I don't check my mails regularly.

                    I am baring mobile no.[protected] at mumbai & ratnagiri at maharashtra state but when i used at ratnagiri there are many problems occured that are the following:

                    1.Sometimes there is no network shown on my mobile but when i use this sim card in motorola handset their is full coverage but when it is in Nokia handset their is no network shown.
                    2.when i dial any number i cannot contact at first time there is minimum 10-15 times try after i will conntact with this number

                      I am in severe pain to inform that on 18/04/2007 at about 1818 hrs I have done an airtel successful e-recharge of Rs 111/- from New Delhi. The Transaction ID for that e-recharge was [protected]. But it is quite unfortunate that I received Rs Zero as call value against that e-recharge.

                      My mobile number is [protected] and I performed my e-recharge while on roaming(New Delhi). My home circle is Mumbai.

                      I have spoken a lot to ur customer care staff but all in vain. It is further informed that my complaint must be redressed within 24 hrs.

                      Regarding this problem I talked to customer care executives Mr. Dinesh(who even disconnected my call) and didnot show any intention to solve my query. I asked him to connect to the Branch Manager and then he disconnected the phone. I was making these calls from my Delhi number to Mumbai Customer and hence all these calls are STD and subsequently it should be refunded ( 30 mins @ Rs2 i.e. Rs 60 extra need to be refunded).
                      [protected] i need this airtel no call history since 4 months & address detail how can i get & where from? please guide me.

                        I am registering a complaint against faulty Airtel sales, customer service and billing.
                        Purchased a sim card from Airtel on 30th Oct 2007
                        Information given to me:

                        1) I was told that the simcard would be activated after I recieved a call from Airtel on my Vodafone no., since i have only one instrument.
                        2) I was never notified that the billing cycle could be for 2 days, 7 days or 10 days. Billing as explained to me was on a monthly basis.

                        On 8th November, I recieved a call from Airtel that I would be billed on 10th for 10 days of service provided. I was not even aware that my sim was activated, and to this day it is lying in its original packaging.

                        Action taken by me:
                        a) I called the sales person named Anuraj Guleria and told him about this billing. His exact words to me "Customer care kuch bhi kehta hai, you will not be billed." He was wrong. I was sent a bill.

                        b) I visited the Airtel gallery and informed them that this billing was unacceptable to me, and I wanted to cancel my card. I was told that I HAD to pay the bill for which I had recieved no service, since I was not even aware of it. They refused to cancel my card unless I paid that amount, some 76 rupees. I refused to pay it on principle that I had recieved no service against that 76 rupees.

                        c) I submitted a letter to my bank and cancelled the ECS.

                        d) From Nov to March, Whenever I got a call from Airtel, I asked them to discontinue the simcard, since I was not interested in the pathetic service. They continued to bill me for a card that I was not using.

                        e) I submitted a letter to the Airtel collection agent about this issue.

                        f) After recieving a lawyer's notice, I called the contact person and was told to cancel the card at the Airtel Gallery. I visited the Gallery once more and got the card cancelled. I was given a cancellation number and told that I don't have to pay anything. I offered to return the unused simcard, and they said it was not necessary.

                        The bill amount has now accrued to 780 odd rupees, which the Airtel lawyer today informs me must be paid since I have 'cheated' Airtel. You tell me who is cheating whom here?

                        Airtel has the worst service I have ever encountered. It has no regard for its customers, unless they are forking over money. I urge the authorities to help me and also suggest that people in Mumbai stop using Airtel Service, since it is so pathetic.

                          Dear sir
                          my incoming calls from above mentioned mobile no's are blocked from last 8 days ie 12 Apr (without giving any intimation)
                          Reason (given by customer care) : to submit documents for reverification
                          Attempt 1: 14 Apr: Submited documents in airtel gallery
                          Response (of airtel gallery people): incoming would be started within 24 hr
                          Attempt 2: 16 Apr: 9 pm: called CC people
                          Reason (given by customer care): CC people told that they have received the documents and since there is technical problem in the system incoming services would be activated after few hrs.
                          Attempt 3: 17 Apr 10am: called CC
                          Reason (given by customer care): CC told that my complaint is not lodged, they will file a complaint and within 24 hrs mobile will be started.
                          Attempt4 : 18 Apr: 10 am called CC
                          Reason (given by customer care): incoming will be started definately within 1hr, pl. wait
                          Attempt 5: 18 Apr 12 noon called CC
                          Reason (given by customer care): complaint is still pending, we will look into it, i will refresh your complaint, you will again have to wait for 24 hrs
                          Is this a way of solving a complaint,
                          pl. start my incoming calls on above mentioned no's or else, i will take the matter to your head office and consumer forum

                            I had a Bangalore Airtel connection (Mob # [protected]). In Sept 2007, I had to relocate out of india therefore i decided to cancel my Airtel connection. Since i had already left bangalore and was in my home town Ahmedabad i decided to settle the bill there.

                            I called up the Airtel office and was given a reference (person and number) to make the payment to. I was told the payment had to be in cash. I made a cash payment of Rs 2515/- to Kushal from Airtel, Ahmedabad, under the directions of Anwar Iqbal on 25th september, 2007. A cash receipt was issued against the payment.

                            The connection was cancelled in october 2007, i received a cancellation mail, but the cash payment has not been credited till date.

                            My citibank credit card has been charged twice (over Rs 3500) with outstanding airtel bills since september and i had to cancel my credit card to prevent airtel from charging my card. I contacted citibank and they said Airtel was responsible for reversing the charges.

                            I have been following this up for the past 7 months now, Mr Anwar Iqbal, then MR Dhaval pandya from airtel assured me everytime i called them that this would be done but it never got done.

                            In March 2008 i called up kushal's number and another person called Abdul kadir picked up. I told him of my situation and asked him to find out about the cash payment. He asked me to contact him the next day. The next day when i called he said he had met with an accident therefore it could not be done. Then he told me it cannot happen today but will happen tomorrow. There was a new excuse each time we spoke. He did not even bother to find out what had happened to my payment had i not followed up with him. On the 4th day Abdul Kadir informed me that Kushal never deposited the Cash. I asked him about the reversal of charges and he said he could not help there. I asked him to put me through to a responsible person and Abdul Kadir would not even give me the number of the branch head (Sanjeev Singh) or pass the line to him.

                            I finally managed to speak to the Airtel ahmedabad, Branch Head Mr Sanjeev Singh. But it still has not helped. The amount was never deposited against my mobile number.

                            Every single conversation with all these people i was told it would be done but it never happened. I have made international calls from the UK to their mobiles. I have sent atleast 10 clarification to the airtel help desk email id's (121) but have not got a response. I am certain my money has been mis-used.

                            I regret taking an Airtel connection when i could have stuck to hutch/vodafone. I have never experienced such abysymal service before.I went out of my way to clear my bill and got punished for it.

                            Airtel still needs to sort out these 2 issues, pending for more than 6 months. 1. Applying a payment of Rs 2515/- against mobile number [protected] and 2. Reversing the charges on my citibank credit card.

                            Please treat this as a formal complaint.

                            I have also been a victim of an authorised charge on my airtel connection which was taken in Bangalore.

                            When I relocated to Mumbai mid-march 2008, Airtel was immediately informed and requested to cancel the connection. Several emails were sent from 22/03/2008 and calls were made from Mumbai to their call centre in Bangalore but I am still being charged. I spoke to Anantha on 09/05/2008 and was informed that the amount which showed as payable in May 2008 would not be charged. However, I was surprised and shocked to see that my Citibank card was debited for the amount. Although it was just Rs.104.46 which may be a small amount, I find it very unfair that this is being charged when I have not used this number from 22nd March. In April 2008 also, a sum of about Rs.750/- was charged to my Citibank credit card. I now will have to cancel my credit card so that the next month's charges will not be debited.

                            I never recieved any phone calls for any Airtel promotions or any other reasons on my own number but now I am recieving calls from Airtel asking for money.
                            As per the Airtel account the billing address is also not my residence but a Cyber Cafe .. How come a brand name like Airtel do such a disgusting thing.
                            This has to be taken care of and I need an explanation on a serious note.

I want to know the name of the person who came to my place for address verification and the date on which he came because I live in a house, I dont live in a Cyber Cafe which is the billing address as per the Airtel accnt.
                            If its my number it has to be a consumer number and not a bussiness number.
                            I want to have a look on every single reciept on which Airtel people have my signature as per their opinion.
                            Airtelis probably the biggest and one of the best known brands in telecommunications sector in India but an incident like this shows a very poor managment of the organisation . I would like them to send me a copy of every document related to # [protected] .Please get the documents scanned and forward them to my mailing address i.e. [protected]@aol.com .
                            And I want this to be done as soon as possible so that either they get their payment or I drag them to the consumer court and I dont want any phone calls asking for a payment until you send me the copies of the documents on my mailing address .I can't even regret taking an Airtel connection because I never took one.

                              Hi,

                              Just wanted to complain about the customer service of Airtel, it is going worse day by day.
                              My simple request was to activate GPRS on my number, also my hello tune is not working since last 2 months but for that im calling airtel customer service since last 2 months. I have called at least 40 times till date for the same thing but no resolution instead i got a very por customer service. I was promised callbacks several times by the supervisor but i never recd any callback. today i again called up for my issue but 3 of the representatives disconnected the call. The first lady i could not get her name, the second one was Jai and the third was Imran Inamdar. I would definately expect an action to be taken for all those reps who have handled my call in the past 2 months. I hope atleast after writing this mail definately some action would be taken against the reps/supervisors. It is very frustrating that after following up for for more than 2 mths for a simple request like activating GPRS still my it is not activated. I am not asking for a free service, im ready to pay for the same but for that also i need to beg??

                                Without my permission Airtel changed my postpaid monthly rental plans from 249 to 599.

                                I always enquire my total bill amount by sending SMS to Bill enquiry.And pay the bill amount accordingly.
                                I suspected some mishap when suddenly my bill amount increased to very high amount.
                                I came to know about Monthly rental plan change recently when I SMS about my current bill plan.

                                I had a talk with Airtel Customer Care people and they said my plan got changed on 13 December 2007.
                                They said I had sent a mail to change my Montly rental plan, but I haven't sent any mail to them.

                                Kindly refer to your claim of outstanding of Rs.1, 00, 046.62/-. In this regard, I am to state as under:

                                I went to Malaysia on official tour on 21.11.2007 and returned on 24.11.2007. While I was abroad, I lost my mobile phone (lost/missing). On coming back to India, I logged in on this matter, but your office is refusing to accept it.

                                Since I was no longer in possession of the said mobile instrument, it is logical to understand that I have not used the phone. Therefore, whatever charges levied are not payable by me. My office has already paid a sum of Rs.47, 377/- for the Bill No.[protected], date 03/01/2008. Thus, there is already an excess payment with you.

                                Under the circumstances as explained above, we are not liable to pay the so called outstanding claim of Rs.1, 00, 046.62/-.

                                You would appreciate that we have been most regular in payment of bills and we are having so many Airtel accounts for our VGP Group. We do not want this should be affected. There is no problem or dispute in payment of bills with regard to any other account. In this case, it is only because the instrument is lost and we also intimated the same by logging in.

                                Please look into the matter and confirm that we have nothing outstanding to pay other than what is legitimate.

                                I was using the ISD facility for few months since I had to call up abroad quite often. The charges that were levied had always exceeded than the actual. To track my bill amounts i usually recieved a daily sms. There had been times when there was no calls made for the day but the smsbill will reflect and added amount which used to be a minimum of 200-500 or even more. On lodging complaints at the customer care - the CC executives cdnt help as they told me to wait till the next bill gets generated. By the time the bill got generated the mobile expense shooted to 12K. This went on generating till next 2 mnths and nw the total outstanding is 17K. This is crazy and i find no reason to pay this amount as this was never my usage. I have migrated abroad but my friends and family keep getting fake/ threathening and abusive calls from Bharti Airtel - this is simply no way to deal with a customer.

                                If my previous records were to be checked - i have never delayed any payments and have been a loyal cutomer with Airtel. But i guess instead of having an advantage of making payments on time, Airtel seems to be taking advantage of it.

                                If those abusive call continues to come then I might have to lodge a complaint at the customer court and demand a heavy compensation for mental harrasment and breach of privacy. Airtel has no rights whatsoever to make abusive calls out of the bill details of an individual.

                                Please help settle this!

Recently on 23rd July 2008 I had taken one more Post paid connection. The Mobile No. [protected]. This number is taken with AIRCOM SOLUTION Mob No. [protected] & Aplication No. 3834972.

                                As per the agreement they told that monthly rental of Rs. 249/- & there is an 600 minits free Local call to any GSM mobile & thereafter the call charges are Rs.0.50/-paise per minit to any mobile & land line is Rs. 1.00/-,

                                But as I talk to Airtel Customer care they told that 600minits free call only to AIrtel to Airtel & Rs 0.50/- paise to other Mobile & Land line is Rs. 1.00/- per minit.

                                If this is the case I will not continue with the above said number & please deactivate the same.

                                  Dear Sir/Madam,

                                  I am approaching & writing to you after getting dissatisfied by Airtel technical team as well as your call centre representatives.

                                  I would like to tell you about your esteemed organisation’s esteem product.

                                  I bought USB Datacard (modem) from Radical communication, Lajpat Nagar-II, New Delhi on 29th March 2008. At the time of purchase I was told by your representative that this card will give you speed of 100kbps.

                                  My data card no. is [protected]

                                  Since then I am getting internet speed of maximum 2kbps.

                                  My compliant no. is 16198265. I have followed up with technical staff on 7070 more than 5 times, but of no use. Every time I get response that this problem is forwarded to the concerned deptt.

                                  Initially your technical staff told me that this is an issue with the tower under which I am operating my card. I told your representatives that after buying this card I have visited 4 states in India (Haryana, Delhi, Chandigarh, Karnataka), but everywhere problem is same. So what I can conclude from this – Either the problem is with all Airtel towers in whole over India or your representatives are trying to fool me.

                                  In addition I got bill from Airtel for bill period from 29th March to 9th April amounting Rs. 726.06 . I will not pay this bill until my problem is resolved.

                                  So kindly look into the matter & provide immediate solution otherwise customer’s will loose their trust on Airtel.

                                  I am approaching & writing to you after getting dissatisfied by Airtel

                                  I would like to tell you about your esteemed organisation’s esteem product.

                                  I bought USB Datacard (modem) postpaid (unlimited) from Telephone Consultancy Srvices, Kunal Apartments, Plot No. 5, Sanghvinagar, DP Road, Aundh, Pune - 411 007
                                  on 9th March 2009. My data card no. is [protected] which was changed very next day due to in activation problem and New Data card No. is [protected].

                                  Since then I am getting internet speed of maximum 1 to 2 kbps.

                                  Every time I am trying to ARC on telephone no. 40057901 and [protected] but no body is lifting the phone. Where I am staying the EDGE Airtel range is full.

                                  I am not getting the satisfactory service from Airtel USB Modem

                                  So kindly look into the matter & provide immediate solution otherwise customer’s will loose their trust on Airtel.

                                  On the date of 15 th feb 2009 I have purchased airtel's USB modem from "Shree Riddhi Siddhi Mobile Shop, Shop No. 43, Kesar Residency, Sector No. 3, Charkop Market Kandivli (W), Mumbai- 400067" the person in the outlet told me there is a tarrif plan in which monthly rental will be 350 Rs. and free download limit is 1 GB. Hence I have Purchased this USB modem and postpaid connection of airtel (Data card no [protected]). I have submitted all of the respective documents on 18th February 2009. After regurrous followup from me the account activated on 20th Feb 2009.
                                  1) As I got connected to internet the connection and surfing speed noticed is 3 to 4 KBPS in my area.
                                  2) Thereafter I noticed that the card was registered on my father’s name.
                                  3)Then there is call came from airtel saying that I have exceeded the maximum credit limit of 500 Rs. and my usage is of 1360 Rs. and my service disconnected on 23rd Feb 2009.
                                  4) On calling to customer care the person told me that the free usage in Rs. 350 plan is 500 MB which was previously told 1GB.
                                  5) Putting the sim card into mobile and On dialing *121*12# from my mobile I came to know my approximate usage for 3 days was 1565 Rs. But within those 3 days I have not downloaded even more than 400MB.
                                  6) Then I got my detailed bill of Rs. 1573.13 dated 6th march 2009. In which it is clearly seen that my usage for 20th Feb. to 23rd Feb. 2009 was 277209 KB. Which is not exceeding 500 MB. The bill was wrongly calculated. And till now pending.
                                  7) I will not pay bill untill I get satisfactory service.
                                  8) In between my service was automatically activated without any intimation and you started billing for the next month.

                                  Because of these issues I have decided to discontinue Airtel's service and requesting you to refund my 3600 Rs. paid for USB modem as it is not useful without the connection.



                                  for all of you I will suggest write complaint and fax it to airtel's chairmen

                                  I am also facing very same problem these AIRTEL agent make us fool. They hide all the important information. And they keep us in dark. I don't know how to solve these problem.

                                  dear sir, this is md.arif from patna i got my usb airtel modem in april of 2009 which no is [protected].but problem is that speed is very very slow from 236.8kpbs.i complained lot of time in airtel office.but nobody listen my problem and could not solved, and saying me back this problem is all over in india. u tel me what should i do now.plzzzzz try to solve my prolem.

                                  I am using micromax EDGE usb modem(airtel connection).The dealer, from where i purchased this offered me internet speed about 64KB/S.But now i am receiving only 2KB/S.That means its too slow to browse.So plz find a faster solution to this..means you have to make it faster connection.

                                    I had a mobile connection, when I was working in Bangalore by No.[protected]. In lieu of my transfer to Mumbai, I had surrendered the SIM card on 12th of Feb 08, the receipt of which I am still mainitaining. The gentleman in Airtel outlet at old Yelahanka - Bangalore told that within one week, i.e by 19th of Feb 08, this process will be regularized and I will be getting a confirmation thru my e mail. However, this has never happened, irrespective of my repeated interactions with him. For my dismay, I got the bill from Airtel for the month of Feb 08. As I had given standing instruction to HSBCfor the payment, this amount was credited to Airtel. I talked to their Customer Care Service ragarding this and even sent several mails to [protected]@airtelindia.com. Irrespective of this, they had raised one more bill for the month of March 08 for about Rs.182. I once again talked to Customer Care Service (Ms. Poornima) in Bangalore and also registered a complaint - No.16063221 dated 27th Mar 08, by sending a mail to [protected]@airtelindia.com. She told that she would not seek the clearance of this amount from HSBC and also she would give necessary credit of the amount, which was wrongly billed for the month of Feb 08. I also requested her to send a confirmation mail for waiver of standing instruction for payment thru HSBC card, which the HSBC people wanted, for which she accepted. She also told that she would send a confirmation in this regard with in 4 working days. But nothing has happened. I received my recent HSBC bill, which was showing a payment of Rs.182 to Airtel.Today, when I talked to the Customer Care Service in Bangalore (Ms.Anurekha), I was told that nothing can be done and they can not make waiver. I understand, Bharti Airtel is a professionally managed company and never expected things of these sort would happen. I have got all the proof of my surrendering the SIM card and HSBC bills of Feb and March months, which can be shown, if situation warrants. I request the concerned to take immediate necessary action and oblige.

                                      I recharged my mobile on 14th April at 8 P.M for Rs. 498 with one year validity. My last month validity got expired yesterday. Till now it didn't get activated. I called customer service many times. But it is always giving recorded message.

                                      Now I am unable to receive any call. The service is not satisfactory.
                                      let them give option to unsubsribe the same to the custermer before charging monthly

                                        i m fursted with these unwanted calls and message from airtel
                                        i reported in airtel and they told me a phthetic thing that it wil take 45 days to stop these things.and they alo told me that is from trai.they told me that trai has told them to do this .its really disturbing they give call when i was in office amd i m in important meeting.they are just sucking.they also distribute the no to vrious company without my permission.i am sure that my phone number is my personal property so why they are distributing my number
                                        i want to avoid the unwanted messages my mob no is [protected]
                                        airtel SUCKS YUCK & many more...
