    On 02 Jul 2008 to resolve the pending issue of addon connection on my existing mobile [protected], I tried to approach Ms Rupali the designated NODAL OFFICER at Indore Offic on Mob No [protected], which instead was responded by a gentleman ANKIT BARIYA who was not only a confused person but was not able to converse in simple english, he refused to forward my call to NODAL OFFICER Ms RUPALI & if such executives I shy to come on line, the web site of AIRTEL should not show their names & mobile numbers of such callous NODAL OFFICERS. Mr ANKIT inspite of my repeated requests refused to provide me the E-MAIL ID of the corporate office of AIRTEL MOBILE. It is matter of shame that a company with over 7 crores mobile subscriber, has such callous NODAL OFFICERS who refuse to listen to customer requirements and work in watertight compartments. If I am NOT responded by an EXECUTIVE of AIRTEL MOBILE in next 15 days, I will be constrained to break relationship with AIRTEL MOBILE

    I agree with you, and am also fed up with airtel now.
    Before coming to USA, when I approached an airtel office, i was promised that my international roaming will be activated within 48 hours([protected]).It has been 6 months now and the roaming on my number is not activated.Yes they are not promt, sincere or puntual in their services but you have to agree that they are very sincere about billing, i am still receiving bills for my phone which i am unable to use for last 6 months because there is no roaming activated yet.
    I am trying to contact a senior airtel officer reagrding this.If doesnot get a response, i will have to throw away the sim, without paying a single penny to airtel and filing a complaint in consumer court.
    I am having tougher times dealing with these call center jokers.
    There's no NODAL Officer. All are thekedaars and Mr Sunil Bharti Mittalis just hving a ride of Customers Tail. No One Knows who the country head of customer service in airtle is (if there's one).

    I am thinking to switch to Sarkari provider. They are better than these Pvt Sector thugs.
    I am send a request for activating missed call alert for my airtel number([protected]), but still its not activated from last 6 months, i log many complaint for that but problem is still pending, they all are nt given me solution for that.what should i do for that?and cusomer care executive told me within 4 hour it will be activated but problem is same
    I have taken post paid connection to a lot of hope that I will not have to run frequently for recharging. At the time of taking connection I had to submit a copy of the rent agreement, two photos and an Identity proof. Then I moved to another house and informed the same to Customer care. They changed my address and after a few days asked me to submit Address proof, Identity proof and two photographs in 48 hours. My house owner was away and so I produced address proof from the company where I work.
    The airtel representative who visited my house had no idea about residence proof. He took the letter from my company, copy of my pan card and two photographs. After an intervel of 24 hours I received a message " SINCE WE COULD NOT MEET YOU DURING THE WELCOME VISIT YOUR OUT GOING CALLS WILL BE SUSPENDED IN 24 HOURS" Immediately I contacted customer care and very soon my outgoing calls were suspended. I visited the airtel relationship centre where I think I was treated as though I had been a terrorist. I demanded the return of the documents collected from me. They do not return the documents once they collected. I am afraid they will misuse my photographs.
    i agree with it AIRTEL is providng a worst customer service . iam having a ladline problem for 15 days .i had even talked to the nodal officesrs but thereis no response frm their side
    I had taken airtel prepaid connection on 3rd of april and given required documents . On 7th of april varification was done and line was activated on 11th of april . on 29th of april my service was deactivated for no reason and advised me to submit fresh documents . Regarding this i visited 3 to 4 times to your airtel galeries to know the reason . On 9th of april again my service was activated for 2 days .Again on 12th of april the service is deactivated. Now i am so fedup i am thinking to go legally with airtel for this small reason . Kindly answer me should i go legally or somebody will speak to me regarding this because i am fedup by contacting customer care and galeries they just know to say sorry sir thats all they think that customer is a fool where he will submit the documents 10 times if it is demanded. and there is no value for customers documents.

    yes, i too have a worst experience to share... since i got trasfered to another place i need to switch my mobil connection, i requested by email and written mail to discontinue the same after paying last bill. but since then no body has responded yet...and few days back i recieved a call from airtel that i need to pay 4500 buck to settle it down and they are calling to each and every no from my call list too. i mailed all this to nodal of the circle, lets see what happens. and see guys i made the same mistak by take again airtel connection at new place. now i am planning to switch it.

    still there are bills coming home with those 'legal department' calls

    went to the airtel service center.. and they are like the number is now cancelled.. but i will still have to pay Rs.800-something... before cancellation..

    Colonel Mukesh Sharma is abssolutly correct. There is no one to take care about customer's problem ia Airtel. There is no nodal officer, only dull officers are there. Airtel mobile is headach. BSNL is giving much much better after sales service.

    A Query Regarding a Pre- Paid Mobile Number [protected]. I am unable to make outgoing calls from my Mobile to Landline as well as Mobiles. Though I am receiving all the incoming calls. I have repeatedly made complaints regarding this problem to your concerned Department and Nodal Officers also but no such action has been taken so far in the above said matter. Since a week I am facing the problem of outgoing calls. Since this is my Business Number which has been circulated amongnst my Customers my business is getting affected badly as I cannot contact them. After making a call to your Service Centre 121 I am always assured that your problem would be resolved within 24 hrs from the call time but till date no action has been initiated on the said date.

    Kindly look into the matter personally and please take a necessary action in this regard.

    but with net connection they have not given the free 25000 calls for which i am asking from previous three months it is due to the due to the local airtel service provider .He said previously i will give but afterwards he said that you will use for buisness purpose so i will not give bt i have taken the net connection for personal use and i have given the written request to local officer but then also he haven't given me and also not taking my bill so that our connection will disconnect.

    Really brothers, Airtel is getting worse day by day, Their customer care executives are lacking behavioral skills, not to mention lack of common sense. Same thing to several executives, and outcome is -NULL !! I'm a user of postpaid no. for three years and I'm so fed up of their poor service and specially-behavior and foolishness of customer care(though there's no 'care' at all, still they call it so). Its just an encumbrance to keep this no. because its my first no. and i don't want to change it !!
    no application of CRM(customer relationship management at all) in the organization !!
    I reckon soon this company will loose a large no. of customers to the hands of competitors.

    Airtel has got oneof the best team out of all the operators in India. I have and am still using airtel + Idea + voda but I personally fond airtel connectivity the best. Their officers are humble and prompt. I have Uttaranchal + chhatisgarh + NCT + CAL nos. of airtel and I am very much satisfied. Good job BHARTI AIRTEL !!!
    i am manoj soni an airtel user, i want to say that The service of airtel mobile is so poor. in any complain of customer airtel nodal officer and appeplete authority oficer doesn't respond to customer for their complaint.
    i have also a complaint about my prepaim service, the wrong balance is deducted from airtel and they didn't given me a satisfy reason for these deductions.
    so at ast i am going to consumer forum and i want to do claim on airtel.

    I have been probably one of the first users of Airtel since it got into the business in Delhi. since then have bn a loyal customer and with every move hv used their services, which am disappointed to say has deteriorated infinitely.

    1) My prepaid Bangalore no. [protected]. problems :-
    (a) network Coverage is low at my residence on Palace Road (embassy habitat)
    (b) inspite of complaints still get promotional calls & smses. which disturbs me during meetings etc.

    2) My husband's Bangalore Post Paid no. [protected]
    (a) ISD was not activated, for that had to go to their office.
    (b) While out of station, he has not been recieving calls..on the other side there is no ring going through. (while other Airtel numbers are working in that area so its not a netwirk prob!!)

    3) Our Hyderabad mob No. [protected]
    (a) This has blackberry service for which we paid a full yr advance on the insistance of Airtel staff.
    now that we have shifted to Bangalore and have taken a new Airtel connection in Bangalore - they are refusing to use the given advance to the new Bangalore no. By this its become cumbersome and expensive... using 2 phone handsets and paying Blackberry & phone charges on roaming. NEED THIS RESOLVED URGENTLY. PLEASE!

    I feel we as their customers deserve better service and consideration. Even when new /cheaper providers like Uninor etc came we did not shift but Airtel is using this loyalty more like they have Majority of the Mkt.

    REQUEST NODAL OFFICERS in HYDERABAD & BANGALORE to solve our above issues.

    Look fwd to recieving call from Airtel sorting out. Like what Airtel used to be in the initial days. :)

    I have asked for a Disconnection on May 2nd 2011 on my Airtel Landline & Broadband. Airtel have
    disconnected the landline on June 2nd 2011 and are asking me to pay the May bill - even though I was not present at that address and neither did I use that service since I relocated to another city.

I applied for a Airtel gprs setting for send (fun) 54321 But i, m not reciving any seeting for gprs last five days.i'm using idea and bsnl gprs in my mobile phone sony res z 550i.but at this time i'm using airtel prepaid sim but they are not provindin any seeting for gprs & i'm calling no of time in airtel custumer care but they don't give any satisfied ans. my mobile no is[protected]

      I'm using the mobile KAIQI-V180.My mobile no is [protected]. I want to activate GPRS from my mobile. I have called so many times to Airtel Customer. But they are not responding.I went to Airtel office also. There also I have faced same problem. I need GPRS Settings to my mobile.

      gprs is activeted on my mobile but it can't connected to computer.i am sending sms for setting airtel give me manual setting but it is not confirm. my hanset is LG kp 220. i am giving complaint to service center but they don't give me any responce.         Thanks for sending last month bill breakups, this very serious issue dated 15/05 in Big bazaar I used only 202 for food purchase, I am not used for 623. this issue with Bigbaaz bill generating or City Bank
        we don't know.
        I also allready Requested last two months bill breakups but I got only one month bill, Please send last two months bills breakups mail soft copy asap.

        Airtel - Prepaid connections — Promotion calls

        I am receiving airtel promotional calls which frustrate me a lot. I think Airtel customer care does not have any other work other then switching on the record. Airtel has to address thsi issue on top priority. [protected] is the number used for the calls. Airtel kindly learn not to disturb your customer's like this.
        Dear sir,

        I have a airtel prepaid customer of madhya pradesh region and now staying in maharashtra .I have got two connections which numbers are [protected] & [protected]. It is very surprising to note that Rs 19/- deducted from my first mobile prepaid account though balance was zero. I have not dailed or rceived any call during the stay.

        In another mobile Rs 10/- deducted for activating job alerts for which i have never requested.
        From the above both the cases you can see the working of airtel services.
        It is therefore requested to please credit the amount which are debited from pre paid account immedaitely and advise me accordingly.

        Dear airtel service provider my self is rajesh i m using Idea, Smart and Airtel's service every one asking, Idea is The best do you know why? because of their policies and they think always for their coustermer and not for the promotion advertisements (To earn only). I am receiving your promotion call daily while Driving (Stop the bike and then cut call and then start the bike) i can not remember my friends mb. no. but i remember your promotion call no. some time this call comes while i m in important meeting and some time during my study. I call your coustremer care they promise me that you sms DND then promotion calls will be stoped. I did that immediately but it was not stopped then i recalled your CC they told me that it is ok you sms immediately but we will stop it after 45 days wow what the great service. thanks a lot for providing this type of great service.             Please note that I have an Airtel cell no.[protected] even after paying my bill's air tel just disconnect the complete of my no's many times when i am on roaming this time also I am in Mumbai and even after giving the payment to Airtel collection boy in delhi he has taken 25000/- cash. but Air tel disconnect my cell .

            Please if any one can help me in this regard as Airtel customer service is just not take call's .

                I has have purchased airtel prepaid sim 5 days ago also submitted the related documents on the same day but the service is not yet activated.I needed this very urgently but am very disappointed by such delayed behavior from airtel.Please take related actions as soon as possible
                I am working as an executive in a nationalized bank, so I had given my identification proof from my bank. I was allotted a connection [protected] in Feb 09 in
                Mumbai.But the same was not actived for want of address proof as alleged by your office . It is strange to say the least. Even after a lapse of more than 5 months and many calls and reminders, my mobile no is not activated . Do I get it activated or I surrender all our moble connections, please respond .

Basically I wanted to activate GPRS on my mobile and I called up Care team for that but three agent told me that they wud have to keep the call on hold to seek inforamtion and they simply disconencted the call, I got very frustrated and I called teh dept. once again, this time a picked up the call ( Durga ) and refused to transfer the call to supervisor and said ( agar teko supervisor se baat karne ki hai to raat me 10 baje ke baad phone kar ) this is the way she was speaking to me, I there fore angrily abused her for the rude behavior, she then went ahead adn disconnected the call saying ( tere number ke saath dekh kya karti ).

                  After 15 minutes of the call my Missed Call Alert service was activate without any consent and Rs 15/- got deducted from my account, further to that hello tunes got activated for 365 days and teh tune was a piglet.

                  I have made a complaint againxt this in custoemr care dept. on the same day and spoke to Mangesh ( Floor Supervisor ) he checked details and apologised for same adn promised teh refund fo the deducted amount also told that other service wud get deactivated within 24 hrs time.

                  But I kept on receving call from one number which was from Vega Centre ( Pune ) who was actually activating the services and also had a big argument with me over the fone regarding the same. The person who was calling from Vega Centre was Ajay according to him. Now I am unalbe to use the service.

                  Kindly do the needfull for above mentioned issue.

                  Airtel — Activation of services without any consent

                  Hi All

                  This is to inform you that I was treated so rudely by customer care team that I had to literally abuse teh lady agent.                       we are one of the leading manufacturer of plywood industries in the state of Karnataka, we take airtel connections for the mobile for office and administrative sector. we have more than 12 connections with airtel and opt to take more connections. we use airtel mobiles in national aswel as international. we are one of the largest bill payer.

                      we regret to state that since 4 months we did not get our mobile bills (itemwise), we have compliant it to the airtel customer care near A.B Shetty Circle, Mangalore they tell us their courier service has changed and they are not responsible for not delivering the bills. Although we go to airtel customber care and collect the amount of bills and paying the bills without fail.

                      kindly take proper step to mail the bills to us else we will definitely go to other mobile connections.

                                I have three accounts with Airtel - Corporate Blackberry (Scope International); Personal Mobile and an Internet Broadband connection at home. I had set up an ECS/SI on my Standard Chartered Visa card that worked well for a few months. Subsequently, my Credit Card was re-issued to me with a new number and I submitted refreshed ECS/SI instructions to Airtel.

                                The problem now is that:
                                1) On my Corporate Blackberry - the instruction was put in place and reflected on my bill yet deductions were not effected. I called an confirmed that they had my new Credit Card number. One week later, I got a call saying that I had an outstanding amount. On investigating further I discovered that they had executed the SI/ECS with my old Credit Card number!!

                                2) On my mobile - they recorded my updated ECS/SI but with my old Credit Card number!!

                                3) On my Internet - they did not update the ECS/SI at all!!!

                                I have called them several times but had absolutely no joy and am forced to bring this to your attention.

                                Kindly help in resolving this harrassment of customers.

                                  Dear Sir,



                                  We are having above nos with us in the scheme of GSFC Consumer society. Additionally we are having (P M Patel : [protected], [protected], [protected] ) and ( S K Vora : [protected], [protected]) these mobile nos under same scheme.

                                  We are regularly facing the problem of locking of sim cards one no or the other. Not only we but many people in GSFC are facing the same problem. Now there are 2 options once sim card is locked.

                                  1. Get a new sim card from any airtel office by paying 150 rs.

                                  2. Get new sim card for free through service provider representatives at GSFC.

                                  Out of the above 2 options, option no 1 is not acceptable as sim cards are getting locked frequently without any operational mistakes or deviation i.e. I switch off the alarm in the morning and immediately after that sim card is locked. These types of operations are not operational mistakes and sim card should not get locked in any circumstances. This is frequent.

                                  I got new sim card for no: [protected] as it was locked from your representative at GSFC by paying 150 rs.
                                  My sim card no: [protected] is locked at present and your representative does not know when sim card will be available free of cost as there is no stock.
                                  I got new sim card for no: [protected] from airtel office by paying 150 rs. First time.
                                  I got new sim card for no: [protected] from your representative at GSFC at free of cost.
                                  Again sim card no: [protected] is locked since last one month and I have still not received new sim card from your representative at GSFC. I have already given application for the same.
                                  The same problem is being faced by many our colleagues in the company.


                                  Now this type of incidents raises many questions.



                                  Why sim cards are getting locked frequently without any operational problems?
                                  Is airtel has got wasted interest in it for recovery of 150 rs for new sim cards?
                                  Your airtel representatives at GSFC are useless. Neither they are lifting our calls nor they know when new sim cards will be available. What type of service you are providing?. How dare they do not take up the call for the whole day? How can they say that sim cards are not in stock and they do not know when it will be available? Or these are the directives from airtel? How this is acceptable that sim cards are not available for a month as in the case of [protected]? What type of organization you are? Sack all your representatives at GSFC and put efficient representatives. GSFC has got very wide base of employees. If airtel is not interested in post service then make it clear to us so that we can decide about continuing the connections.
                                  At any cost locking of sim cards has to be prevented. Do whatever you want. This is not acceptable. If at all it locks, on the same day we should get the new sim card free of cost. When sim cards are available by paying 150 rs over the counter from any of the airtel offices, why your representatives are not getting it? What do you want to communicate by doing this? If you can not provide the service, Pl exit. Do not keep the problems lingering.


                                  We request you to look in to the matter and direct your representatives to issue immediately new sim cards of good quality for [protected] and [protected] (locked since a month) free of cost.



                                  PL NOTE THAT THERE IS NO PROBLEM FROM OPERATION POINT OF VIEW FOR LOCKING OF SIM CARDS. AT THE SAME TIME WE WOULD LIKE TO KNOW UNDER WHAT CIRCUMSTANCES THEY ARE BOUND TO LOCK?

                                    receiving promotional calls from last 4 months, after registering for DND service, 4 times compalints has been raised .recievd the compalints no.also still the same problem.plus the the cusotmer service executives gives the response is pathetic..services are diabolical..

                                    Complaints about Airtel:

                                    I wanted to activate BB Services on my phone, Called Customer Care 121
                                    First they kept me on wait for 5min, after picking the phone once.
                                    Second, called again, they told me to call 7070.
                                    Called 7070: No point: Since I dont have any data services activated, please call 121
                                    Fourth Call, 121: Lady told me the different plans: 299, 399, 899. Asked her the difference in those plans, she says call 7070/[protected] for that and CUT THE PHONE without listening to me. I was informing her 7070 doesnt work.
                                    Fifth Call: Not from Airtel, cause thats how you people only listen. But sadly I was wrong again. Picked up phone, put me on wait for 5 min when I asked the details of plans. Couldnt wait any longer.

                                    PS: I also have subscribed for DND. Does it take a month to activate that as well??

                                      Its ridiculous that airtel.in/mms webstie does not exist but they still keep sending those links to all users.
                                      So many complaints have been made with their customer care but till date not resolved.

                                      I hope there is some action taken on airtel by registering the complaint here.

                                      also i was called on 09.02.2009 to customer care for lodging complaint for non creating group & coming error

                                      i was called on 09.02.09 at 10.30 pm & i enjoyed group calling at 10 paise per minute

                                      I was called on [protected] for 3 times & i enjoy facility

                                      but when i called on 10.02.2009 at 1.00 pm (tentetive) for 715 second means 11.97 minutes so the charge was deducted 12 rupees instead of Rs. 1.20 paise so i called to customer care on 10.02.09 at 3.00 pm (tentetive) then customer care exeutve given me credit Rs. 1.30 paise wrongly instead of Rs. 10.80 paise so again i was trying for 2 hours on customer care but i didnt contacted

                                      also i called on 11.02.09 at 6.00 pm for 1 minute & charge deducted Rs. 1 instead of 10 paise

                                      so please check all in your system & give me credit of Rs. 10 & 40 paise at the earlist

                                      Break up is as under

                                      called on 10.02.2009 at 1.00 pm for 715 second charges Rs. 12.00

                                      actual to be charge Rs. 1.20

                                      Refund / credit to be paid in my account Rs. 10.80

                                      Credit given on 10.02.09 at 3 pm wrongly Rs. 1.30

                                      Net refund ( A ) Rs. 9.50

                                      (B) called on 10.02.09 at 6 pm 1 minute charged Rs. 1 instead of 10 paise

                                      Total Refund / credit A + B = 9.50 + .90 paise = 10.40 paise

                                      Please give credit in my account at the earlist
