My mobile No. of AIRTEL (PREPAID) IS [protected]. On 21st June, 200 vide Transaction ID No. [protected], at the Relationship Centre situated at Indiaranagar, Bangalore (Near BDA Complex), the connection was recharged after paying an amount of Rs.498/- for a validity of ONE YEAR period. After that immediately a confirmatory message came confirming the transaction. But, from that date, till now, ( i.e., 9.25 pm of 12th July, 2008) for three to four times a message came from a number 64611010 by which we have been thanked for using AIRTEL LIVE SERVICES and incidentally in all the occasions, we have not at all used that AIRTEL LIVE and no downloading has taken place. The last occasion is the one when the message was received on 12th July, 2008 at 8.53 pm and immediately, Rs.10/- has been deducted from the balance. When we have not at all downloaded or used that Airtel Live Services, What is the rationale in deducting the amounts from the balance. Money is not growing on trees. It is coming to me and many of the public by hard work. Do not indulge in robbing our money in this fashion.
In the meanwhile, to avoid these headaches again and again, I had sent a message PLIVE CNCL to 222 on three to four occasions. Everytime a message is being sent, there will be a confirmatory that they will respond within 24 working hours. But, even though 5 to 6 days have been passed, that 24 working hours have not come to the Airtel persons. What age are we living in? I want a refund of all the funds that have been wrongfully deducted from the balance of mobile no. [protected]. Moreover, a mail may please be sent ([protected]@rediffmail.com) as to what is the procedure for cancelling the connection once for all.
I stay in Borivali West, Mumbai - 103 at the Junction of IC & LIC Colony. There is barely network connectivity in my residence. If I leave my cell phone unattended, I have to place it in a particular direction (and always keep a check) if I want to receive a call or sms. Else I am always on "Emergency Calls only" or "No Access to Network". At different times during the day and night the position has to be adjusted from East, NorthEast, North, NorthWest or West and in each of my room the positioning is different. Even when calls get connected, the reception is extremely bad. Is this how a GSM phone connection has to be used by a customer?
The proof how ignorant the customer care teams are - on all the occasions when I log a complaint, the customer care member diligently tries to contact me and they find me unreachable or phone switched off or says reception is not clear or call drops multiple times. This itself indicates I have a major problem. But the complaint is closed saying case resolved as customer is not contactable.
The only question I have is when will Airtel Network expand in the suburbs ?
