As per Airtel , the blackout days for customer will be

For 2013, the following Blackout Days will apply:
1. New Year, 1st Jan 2013, SMS and Voice
2. Friendship Day, Date TBA, SMS and Voice
3. Valentine Day, Date TBA, SMS and Voice
4. Diwali, Date TBA, SMS and Voice
5. 31st Dec 2013, Date TBA, SMS and Voice

But today i got a message from Airtel that
On 4th August 2013, SMS Benefits and discounts will not apply on your airtel mobile. SMS will be charged at Re 1(Local), Rs 1.5 (STD) and Rs 5(ISD)

i am using Vodafone and BSNL . but i didnt get any Blackout msg. only Airtel is charging. please take necessary step to stop this.

    I have Airtel postpaid number [protected]. I activated internet pack of Rs 100 per month on my number but I was not able to use it as internet was not enabled at server for my connection as reported by customer care, though internet pack of Rs 100 was activated on my mobile and Airtel was charging this money in invoice of my number. I called customer care several time and they suggested to change internet pack to Rs 125 per month, which I did but nothing happened. When is send "MO" to 54321, I get reply message as "Dear Customer the service is currently not enabled for your phone, please call 12118 for more details.". I, several times, reinstalled internet setting as instructed by customer care tech support. I called 12118, they said a request is generated for rectification but nothing happened. For more than 3 months, I am paying Airtel in my bill for internet pack for service which are not fully activated on my number. Since I need to frequently check my mails, I have been suffering sadly on account of Airtel. I decided to change my service provider to Idea and applied for Number port three times but Airtel has denied it every times to new service providing company (idea). I never want to take Airtel number in my life again and I earthly want to change my service provider. Please help.

    AirTel — internet service is not good

    my name is manish bhayana
    i am from rohtak.
    i am very disappointed from the internet service of airtel, whenever i call to customercare centre they always told me that you will get a downloading speed of 30-40 kbps, but instead of this i always get a speed max up to 3-4kbps.
    kindly sort out my problem as soon as possible. i positively facing a big problem while downloading.

    I am a student of law and living address pathak bhawan brij vihar colony, nai sadak, lashkar, gwalior, m.p. 474001
    I apply for internet connection for my home place airtel company agent mr. rajput tell me i will definet your net connection completely connect by him and they demand amount 200/- rupees and i write a cheque no.044305 date 20/03/2008 bank- state bank of India the favor of airtel india, they give me a receipt slip s.no. 67096 date 19/03/2008.
    after some days tell me i can't provide that connection this is really against a consumer rights, first why they tell me connection is provided by him, this type of drama is repeated many time but they do not give me proper connection .
    please take a strong action against the company alert him they dint done that type of work to any consumer.
    i am a consumer of this company please help me.

    I've purchased a airtel connection ([protected]) on last 19th Jun'08 from Burdwan (west bengal zone)& after that I've recharged with Rs. 498 for unlimitted net connectivity for 1 month. But still I didn't received any settings. When I'm trying to lodge complain to customer care executive then i'm getting thie only IVR "I[censored]'ve any quarries then write us to 121 toll free no within 130 words, we'll help you within next 24hrs, but after 36 hrs still I didn't received any feedback from them". Even i'm n't getting any customer executive by calling airtel customer care just getting this single recorded IVR.
    Kindly take needful step.

    My Cell Phone Number is [protected] .This month Rs. 10 is charged me for music on demand and i dont even use it, Then why would i use music on demand .Pls Deactivate my music on demand services.

    Our Lan line+3 cell phones are all Airtel's.We have been getting a wonderful service all these years.Of late, iam sorry to say that my complaint regarding the phone, (instrument) and the modem had some problem as a result of which iam facing lots of problems.

    We are one of the subscribers with Airtel and continue to be, with a very clean and prompt payers of monthly charges without even a single day's delay(our records will prove)

    AirTel — Not providing internet connection

    i have paid the registration fee on 25th of january but still i dont get any connection of internet in my home.
    i talked to them per day basis on phone and visited their Gole ka mandir(Gwalior) office for enquiry but every time they said tomorrow we will provide you your connection.
    what to do now and how to resolve it,because now i am tired and already waste my money.

    Service — Not a complaint - a request.

    My request is in concerned with Western Railway and for a new footover bridge at Vile Parle Railway Station Platform - North end - (Virar side), joining V.S.Khandekar Road & Parleshwar Road at Vileparle (E) and V.B.Road at Vile Parle (W) to ease out heavy public movements at peak time and as platform lengths are increasing for 12 coach rakes.
    Also please increase height of the platforms as there is a gap between railway platforms and footboard of the train is nearly 1'-6" to 2'-0".

    AirTel — Services not provided

    Dear Sir,
    I had changed my simcard from prepaid to postpaid on 9th august. During my interaction with airtel executive, he promised me immediate resumption of postpaid services after closure of prepaid services. But it has been two days since than my postpaid services are not resumed. Hence, I am victim of bad services of the company. Now, their executive are giving wague answers and false promises.

    we applied for the landline connection at the address of H-1402,DSIDC ,Narela industrial park,New delhi in the name of Ajay chopra.Your airtel executive fill up the form and taken the fees of rs500/. he said that your connection will be activate with in 3 days.but i was not got any response or no one come to install the service.On 14 august i lodged a complaint .the complaint no. is 36430156. then they said that your service wiil be provided to you with in next 3 working days .but from that day i have not recd. any response or phone call or nobody come to my place.so please refund my amuont or start my service immediately and mail to me on [protected]@yahoo.com

    idea internet service — service is not proper

    fom begining we are complaning about speed of internet is slow but till problem is as it is fom last one year also we were requested to the company through their email address for hard copy for monthly bill oftenly but just they are repling to my mail only that they receive my mail, but till today they donot fulfill their promise regarding to my request of hardcopy of bill nd speed of internet i hope that through this consumer complaint forum i will get solution of my problem.

    I have been charged 50 Rs by Airtel for services I had not activated or even used. I used to get missed calls from a certain number and when I called the number back from my cell phone, it was Airtel's IVRS and I was charged 50 Rs. I got a message in next 2 minutes saying that "thanks for subscribing for Friend'z chat and my chat id is XXXXXX".
    I have already talked to the airtel office and they were not supportive of this issue. I am thinking of changing my mobile subscriber if such issues are not resolved. ALso, I have activated DND on my number several times but I still keep getting messages from Airtel about offers etc.

    i have been charged total amount of 60rs in multiple deductions of 20rs and basically being charged for some frendz chat wit an automated call from airtel... Also have been charged for some game site subscription which i never used or had subscribed(http://gclub.in)so please refund my amount ASAP... I have been using airtel services for 7 years now and this problem can make me switch service provider to others.

    I had got a call from the Delhi corporate office saying that the balance that was wrongly deducted will be refunded but that was never credited to my account.
    I have not recieved the refund till now... So by what time will i be credited the deducted amount... My mobile number is [protected]

    hi,
    I had faced the same situation about 2 months back and this has happened again. I kept getting missed calls from a certain number for 2-3 days and when i returned the call , it was Airtel's IVRS and I was charged 50 Rs. I got a message in next 2 minutes saying that "thanks for subscribing for Friend'z chat and my chat id is XXXXXX". I had activated DND on my number many times but to no avail. I still keep
    getting text messages about offers etc. Today I got a message from [protected] for help from some jogya pandit.
    This raises a question whether Airtel really cares about its customers or is just happy being the #1 provider and is no longer worried about maintaining the position?
    Please activate DND on my number and credit back the worngly deducted amount, if possible.

    Air Tel has been activating unwanted non sense services on my mobile and charging for it. the modus operandi is that you receive promotional SMS, you open it and the service is activated. you may also receive a promotional call, you receive it and the service is activated.
    now i have started sending very strongly worded mails to them, i even threaten them that in case the service is not discontinued, i shall go to consumer court. every time i had sent such a mail, the service was discontinued and the amount credited to my account.

    AirTel — can't use the service after recharging

    I recharged my airtel number with RS 98 GPRS pack on 2nd august 2011. but i cant be able to consume the srvices... because of some network faliure just after the recharge done....please help me and solve out my problem...

    Airtel — service charged but not activated

    Hello,

    On the 18th of November, my BlackBerry Personal Mail service was disconnected and on the 19th Oct at 8:03 am I was charged Rs 399 for the same and received a renewal message from Airtel. It has been 11 days now and I have still not received my Internet Service. I have also not received my refund even after speaking with a Supervisor from the Customer Service Team. I spoke to 6 supervisors everyday from the BlackBerry Support and no one has been able to resolve this . They say 4 hrs, 12 hrs, 24 hrs, 72 hrs and so on. But it has been more than 240 hours and I am still without the service but have paid for it. The supervisors say they have personally followed the case and will call be back and no callbacks. They refuse to take the call when I call them back.

    I AM REALLY GETTING PISSED OFF NOW AND WANT THIS ISSUE SORTED ASAP.

    The supervisors who I have spoken from the BB support are : Deepak Singh, Rahul, Ashish, Vivek and I forgot 2 of them. I have been hung up by a lot of agents when I requested for a Supervisors. I THINK ITS HIGH TIME YOU LOOK AT THE ISSUES OF THE CUSTOMERS AND TRAIN YOUR AGENTS/ SUPERVISORS ON SOME REAL CUSTOMER SERVICE.

    Today on Sept 2, 2012 received a message"thanks for downloading [protected]@_Rs Game from Airtel". A download that was never made from my number -[protected] and does not even reflect in the internet downloads of my Galaxy Note.

    Upon calling the customer service an aggressive representative tried to convince me that the download was indeed made at around 11:30 because it reflects in their records (how convenient!) I told him that it did not on my phone records and that there was no game to show for it either. Had a download started on my slow Rs. 99 airtel mobile office it would have taken a long time and i would have got a bar saying that how much had been downloaded or that the game was downloaded and it is ready to install. But NO signs of any download appeared during the day.

    To which he repeated that AIRTEL records show game was downloaded and AIRTEL has charged even though the game is nowhere all he can do is send the link so that I can properly download the game I DIDN'T Want in the first place.

    I know this is not the first complaint of this nature that someone has put to airtel but it's quite convenient to charge for a service first and force it down the customer's throat with only their own records as proof. It is sad that a company has ethics as low as this and such little regard for customers word on even such a minor issue specially when the customer has been otherwise regular with all bill payment and never sought any discounts or refunds in the past. A company with such low regard for it's customer's side of the story and for customer retention doesnot deserve customer loyalty and hence we are left with no choice but to shift all three of our postpaid connections to another service provider.

      I Sumit Kumar, have requested to port my Vodafone no.([protected]) to Airtel. Vodafone accepted my port requested and stopped my services on[protected] at 10:30pm but no appropriate action has been taken by Airtel to start the services, I contacted Airtel prepaid office many times i also contacted Airtel customer care many times but they all are unable to response with valid reason and till now my Airtel services has not been started.

        I received a missed call from [protected] at around 8 o'clock on 1 august 2013, on calling back that person used one of my friends name and said that I have won a lottery of fifteen lakhs. And to register my account name I have to call on [protected] this no. later after searching for no. [protected], I came to know that this no.is from pakistan that is enough to terrify me. Plz do something.

          Airtel activated Spunk Models useless service on my number: [protected] without my knowledge. I want complete refund and deactivation of this service asap.
          This is really ridiculous activity of Airtel. This has happened to other Airtel users in my family too. They activate anything they want on their own or by using spams or flash messages. Normal person who doesn't know these things can easily be fooled by this. This is simply very wrong.
          I am definitely going for Mobile Number Portability along with other Airtel users in my family. This is worst network ever.
          I want full refund for this.

          Airtel called me and refunded my money. They ensured that they'll not make the same mistake again. Overall I'm very satisfied with their service.

          Despite emailing, phoning 121 and every other method I could think of, Airtel keeps sending me several times a day nonsense FRIENDZ CHAT messages.
          And this despite my Nokia cellphone being registered with the National Do Not Disturb registry!
          The sender's No. is a steady 543216. My cell No.: [protected], am based in Kolkata.

          Airtel — DEDUCTION OF MY MONEY FOR HELLO TUNES WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE

          I got a message on my airtel mobile on 20 may 2009 at 3:30 p.m that you are subscribed for HELLO TUNES. ( please note that i had not asked to subscribe me for hello tunes ). I immediately called the airtel customer care and unsubscribed the service. 5 minutes later i recieved a message that you have been charged Rs 20 for hello tunes . AIRTEL, please make a note of it that we are not fools or buffoons to take your prepaid service and tolerate all your nonsense. Do not try to be oversmart. Now, I want you to fix the problem and REFUND my money as soon as possible. If not, I would Be forced to go for a case against you in the CONSUMER COURT.

Sir in the date of 27july 30Rs was deducted from my mobile by airtel after deducting i complained on airtel custumer care service and they said to me shahrukh khan pack was used by u but i said to them that i did not use this pack so they returned my 30Rs but after one day in the date of 29july they again deducted 30Rs and i again called them but they again said to me that u have used shahrukh khan pack and again i said i have not used this pack but they didnt give the answer and cutted my phone so sir plz help me bcoz they again n again deducting my money from my phone plz help me.

          My wife Mrs. Megha Lalwani who resides in Jaipur (Rajasthan) holding the Airtel Phone no. [protected] is facing problems in receiving SMS's, MMS's and Audio messages from abroad. She can only send any of these but not receive the same.

          Please help her to set all the service center numbers and access points which are necessary to operate all the above mentioned services.

          I am Sarfraj Shigave, customer of Airtel since last 2 years. I have two postpaid mobile connections of Airtel. I am paying the Airtel bill on regulag time. Just check my billing details. I have paid all the bill before due dates. My mobile no.s are [protected] and [protected]. Since yesterday morning my second no. i.e. [protected] is showing not in use. Means when I am calling that no. its showing that this no. is not in use. I have tried to call customer care. They told me that as Airtel is updating system they cant do anything upto 11th of Sep. 2009. Today morning I went to your Tilak Road’s customer care service center. The office time is 10.00 am to 8.00 pm. The office opens at 9.30. I went there at 9.50. But the sweeper man refused me to seat in the office. He told me to wait outside the office. I asked him that I will wait inside as there are just 10 minutes remain. But he was speaking very rudely with me. Then up to 11.oo am no one Airtel employee was available in the office. At 11 o’clock one lady came. I told her my problem. She told me there are phones. So call on 888. I tried to call on 888, but the call was dropping. I again told her it’s not connecting. She can’t do anything; you have to wait for half an hour as express office employee will came half an hour late. I asked her “But office time is 10.00 to 8.00”. She told me those express officers are used to come late by half an hour daily. So we can’t do anything.”

          In this way I was there up to 11.10 but no one was there to solve my problem. Then I have asked her where the complaint box is? She replied you can not do anything against us. You may either wait or you may go now.

          This happens with me second time. Last time also when I had lost my cell I went there and asked the lady to block my card as it is postpaid connection. She replied first put the complaint in police station and come with complaint document; I told her I am going to put the complaint in police station. But first block my card. Even I had shown her my ID proofs as she is saying that how can we believe that this card is on your name?

          Now tell me whether it is a customer care office or customer harassment office. any queries call me on [protected].

          Airtel — balance deducted by Airtel within 24 hours without any service activated by us

          I am Yogesh, i had my Airtel sim connection more than four years, now from few days Airtel mobile is deducting my balance from time to time, we had register a complaint to Airtel customer care but they always tell us that on your mobile some services have been activated, but the fact is that we haven't activated any services. They had deducted our balance with in 24 hours after recharge. some days before we again registered a complaint to custmer care to revert back the balance they had deducted, they had done that but after some time they had deducted again.

          Sir same situation came again, Airtel had deducted my balance, yersterday on date 14-march-2010 i had e-rechared my mobile with RS 60.00/-, and got balance of RS 52/-, on next day means on 15-march-2010 when i checked the balance after doing some calls, balance is shocking only RS 18.60/- are remaining. I don't know where is my balance is gone or used.

          Same case is held with my 2nd mobile also. so i didn;t recharge that mobile this month (march 2010).

          Airtel custmer care always told us that, they will not deduct our balance again. All services had been disabled previously by customer care after our request. but still they were deducting our balance. If we have any urgency and there is no balance in our mobile then what will we do.

          So I am very frusted with the service of Airtel, i want to Register complaint against Airtel in Customer court. Please advice what steps to be followed for registering complaint.

          Airtel activating services without my knowledge and deducting amount my account. Few days back, suddenly my balance was reduced by Rs. 20. I was shocked and called to airtel customer care. They told, Friends Chat was activated from my side before 20 days.           I have a deduction of 120/- at random within 15 minutes. I asked customer care people they asked me wait till 27 January. And again and again some Service reply is coming and they are deducting my balance.           Feb 17 2011 Rs 10 was debite for subcribed BALLYWOODITEMGIRLS. but i didnt

          AirTel — CHARGING WITHOUT ONE'S KNOWLEDGE

          I use airtel mobile service. I have been charged many times for hello tunes for which I never requested but when I complaint they say I have activated it which is not true. Also I have lodged complaints few times and they said they will deactivate but they did not. Even after informing them they send sms that they have renewed for another month and my callers get some unwanted filthy cine songs which they and I do nto like.

          It is a criminal activity and cheating and looting. If they charge all the innocent people Rs.30 per month they can easily make millions each month.

          This kind of activities by anyone should be stopped.

          All users of Airtel must check whether they have been charged without their knowledge and permission.

          Also all users of Airtel should join together and take action to teach them a lesson.

          Bharti Airtel Ltd — UNWANTED SMS

          Receving frequent unwanted promotional sms . Those sms are mostly related to property dealing related. I have repeatedly requested Airtel to stop , but not attending my request.
          I thought Idea Cellular customer service people did not have enough knowledge about their product and could never answer any query satisfactorily.
          And I thought Airtel was much better than the rest.
          Well..guess what! I was wrong. And i have no qualms in admitting it.

          Airtel has the worst service ever.
          I got myself a new Pre-Paid connection ([protected]) to get my BB activated.
          After activation of the card they said BB would be activated in about 24 hours.
          I took about 3 days actually to get things started.

          And the moment I started using Airtel, automatic deduction of Rs.60 took place. And for what - the filthy service of FriendzChat and some Astrology [censored]e.
          I contacted their customer service and they said they would look into it. But for a good 5 days there was no response.
          And umpteen calls later when i finally got through a customer executive, i was bound to lose my temper (for having answered the same lame questions over and over again).
          The outburst of anger came as i used a single profane word (and I'm not apologizing for it - EVER!)
          The agent has the audacity to say- "Sabhyata se baat keejiye"
          Well - Mr."Sabhyata" if only you guys worked with "sabhyata" users wouldn't have to lose it on you.

          Secondly - having spoken to their manager - a certain Mr. Mukesh who assured that the deductions would be refunded that very day - it was no surprise that for the next 4 days there was no such transaction made.

          And to top it all - they even blocked my number from being connected to the customer care service numbers (121 and 198).

          This is surely a silver lining for Airtel.
          If you can't handle a customer and complaints against their company - the best is to block the customer.
          I say, it's a wonderful scheme to keep customer at bay. But do they realize that Consumer Forums do take up our case and fight for us.
          Let them also remember that the common man is backed by the media.

          If I wish to indulge in charity- it is my choice where and how I give my money. I will never appreciate a brand like Airtel STEALING my money from my account.

          I want complaint against airtel's hellotune service.

          First thing Airtel making a call for hellotune request and other services are from direct numbers( might be computerized programmings generated), but there is no such indication services. Hence we are unable to pick the call & back call it the service is automatically get activated.

          Same thing happens with me, myself sachin gaikwad & one of the customer of airtel with mobile number[protected] becomes the victim of their system fault.On date 23/09/2011 i had missed call from [protected] which from Airtel hellotune service, when i called that number i listen the information regarding their services & ended the call. But immediately i got the message from airtel that i choose a hellotune and 45 INR are deducted from my account immediately. This is there system fault 100 %,i know they will prove that i dialed this number & choose the particular hellotune.
          But i want system more easy to distinguish between the real number & Airtel service number, this is going to help millions of mobile user as they are facing the same problem of deduction of balances due to mobile service providers system fault, better give the consumer a chance to choose to call or not.

              I choose the A la Carte online but it never got implemented nor did I get a call or message and of cause they continued milking my money. I called them after a day and they said that they can only change the package and I asked them to change into the South Channels . They could not do even that & raised a complaint . The complaint was not sorted for more than 48 hours and every day they continue to remove my money and of cause I am getting a message to recharge other wise it will be deactivated . I am also a user of tata Sky and although I do not want to compare service like this is unimaginable . What service do I as a user get . Do I have any rights or should I just take this lying down

                We received CUG plans, it was given by Airtel sales person named Shashi.
                The plan which was offered to us was "Airtel Special Value 199 CUG Plan"
                But the plan which was set is "Super Saver 199 CUG Plan"
                They gave around 40 connections and some connections had the problem.
                After the first month bill, two connections was changed but we had to pay the bill.
                Now the second month bill has been generated, but the plan has not changed yet, for the following numbers.

NO OFFERS!!! ..STD are very high cost compared to other network. I think they are cheating us.. so try to avoid... we can go to other network.                 It’s like harassment if company is not able to provide services than why not come straight forward with the same statement? Why company use to waste others time, if Airtel is not having option to provide number as discussed earlier than we can spend out time with other service provider for particular number, if company use to be straight forward than it could save our & company’s own precious time.

                AirTel — no information about the plan

                Dear Sir,
                I recharge my cellphone with the top up of Rs110/- before topup my plan was 1p/s. After recharge my top up my plan automatically switch over to 1.02/s. for this plan neither company nor his agent( Wadhwa communication Panipat refineryt township Panipat ) informed me about the plan that your phone automatically transfer to the new high rate plan.When I asked to the agent than he says that company did not tell us that the plan will be changed.
                so company is not giving the proper information about the plan they are cheating to the customers. I want my old plan which was 1p/.

Of lately I am having serious issues with the service provided by Airtel I had activated the World Cup Cricket score pack which was being sent via number 33331 previously it was a monthly supscription and I was being charged on a monthly basis but now I am being charged for ever message i get from that service I tried calling customer care but I was not able to speak to any of the representatives even after being on hold for more than 30mins .I also get voice messages when I make a call that my balance is low even when I have balance of more that 25 Rs. That is pretty annoying as I have a one year subscription. Can any tell me how can I cancel the 33331 service ?

If he was from Airtel side then please inform him do not do like that other wise I also can take some action against him as well as against Airtel. Because I have informed so many time to Airtel regarding my outstanding balance. He is a third party recovery agent, Airtel hire him for recovery.

                  How would I know, he is right fellow or not. And why I give that much of amount. I will give my actual bill what ever is outstanding…

                  I am again requesting to customer care officer / Applate officer / Nodal Officer please pay attention in my case and take some action regarding the same. I want to clear my account As Soon As Possible.

                  Airtel — Internet and Phone Does not work

                  I am suffering with the pathatic customer care service of Airtel.

                  My phone and broadband have not been working for many days and I lodged a formal complaint 5 days back. After multiple reminders and calls they made my phone working but not the internet. After my continuous followup and new complaints, I only hear that it will be done soon. But no one cares in their customer care. They keep giving new numbers to call and speak with those people as if I am on their payroll to handle all these logistics.

                  I have suffered major embarrasement as I could not use internet for couple of meetings with my clients. This results in my loss of my productivity and also adds to so much of frustration. I would request an action against such irresponsible companies for lack of their service quality.

                  Moreover, as per law if the phone or internet is not working for more than 3 days, I should be paying them the rental. I received a new bill today. How do I refuse? I fear they will create more problems if I refuse to pay.

                  2. I recently brought a new NOKIA C6 to use internet connection.But even after making all the correct settings everytime I am receiving the error as "Connection not available".

                  Bharti Airtel — Internet not working

                  I had Internet broadband connection. From February first week my Internet stopped working. So I went and registered a complaint with the Airtel outlet about the issue. The complaint was registered on February 14th and I clearly mentioned in my complaint that my internet was not working from last 5-6 days. They told me that someone from the Airtel office will come and rectify the problem. But the problem was never resolved. After repeatedly calling them up and going to their outlet for resolving the issue, I finally cancelled the connection on 24th of February. The executives working in the airtel outlet told me that I will get rebate for the month as I never used the internet facility from Airtel. But now after cancellation the collection department from airtel is repeatedly calling me for paying the due amount for the February. Even after explaining them the situation and that I was told that I will get rebate for the month I am still getting those calls. Moreover they also try to intimidate me sometimes by using abusive language. This is really not acceptable from a company of Airtel's stature.

Im using Airtel mobile number [protected] ported from Vodafone..Today 30.07.2013 I have recharged for ₹169 valid for 3 months which should charge 30 paise per minute like they have posted on their site but I didnt get that offer instead it is charging me 1.5 paise per second for first 60 seconds for a day and there after only it is charging 30 paise/min.. When I have called their executive he said that plan is changed from July 22 but it is not yet updated on web.. So plz provide me the tariff as like on the web page when I was recharging

                      We were using Airtel DTH since many days and stopped using it for some reason. Since then, we have received many calls from some number in Mumbai requesting to recharge. Until now, it is fine as every company can make some steps to enhance their sales. But, today morning we received a call from Mumbai landline and they informed us that, we will send our person and take back the set top box.

But to again after recharging i get only 2G services, on quering with customer care they replied they cant as they dont have the services to my area. If that is the case then i those sms were sent without informing me about the constraints for same. Sir, in anticipation for a favourable action as you are only the trust for me. Thanking you

                      Yesterday I choose a plan for Airtel 3G services of 11 rs for 10 MB. I just opened 2 pages of internet and my 11 MB gets used in that. Previous when I was having 2G plan then those same pages never took 2 10 MB. Infact if i surf whole day on 2G then also my data account never reached to 10 MB in a day but on using 3G services in 1 min my 10 MB data gets used without even downloading.

                      On calling 198, and 121 when I select option for talk to customer care... it just say.. dail *123# to know your balance.
                      What the [censored] is this going on?
                      I am not even able to talk to customer care. Is this [censored]ing services are provided by Airtel.

                      AirTel — 3g services

                      i am using 3g services for my mobile [protected] from 18th april. previously i was using 2gservices. before to this date, the airtel called on my mobile and offered 3g for rs 100 and mentioned that the bill will be charged only for downloads and not for browsing. after that i got a message asking me to pay charges for 3g a sum of 6830 for which i denied the payment and registering the complaint.
                      I didthe biggest mistake of my life just 3 weeks ago. tHe mistake was i bought an airtel 3G net setter and dongle sim. MY sim mobile number is [protected].To start with It was supposed to get activated within 24-48 hours. Bugt after having spent so much and so much fight i got it activatedafter 5 days. i was alerady fed up with the customer care service of AIrtel who doesnt even know how to behave to the customer orhow to support their product. In the 3G console which you get in laptop the helpline number given is[protected] But if you call that number they wont support any issue with the 3g service. THEy will just provide you some invalid numbers to call. to add on to the problems it stopped working 3 days back it started saying "it cannot connect to the remote computer hence ports are closed". I called up customer care to understand what the problem was but again no use. the i assumed that it could be because it went out of balance. Then aftergetting advice from the airtel offic ein my employer campus i recharged for 675 and still the problem remained the same. i called up customer care but they said the data has not been added to the account with respect to the amount paid. INfact there was .01 MB data which was left before recharge. I called up CUSTOMER CARE([protected]) 4 tIMES YESTERDAY. tHEY WERE NOT ABLE TO SOLVE THE ISSUE AND NOT ONLY ThAT THRICE THEY ABRUPTLY DISCONNECTED THE CALL AND ONCE THE EXECUTIVE SAID HE IS TRANSFFERING TO THE SENIOR EXECUITVE BUT IT RANG FOR AROUND 10-15 MINUITES BUT NO ONE TO PICKUP AND I DICONNECTED THE CALL SINCE I HAVE BEEN CALLING FROM MY VODAFONE NUMBER AND LOSING MONEY EVERYTIME I CALLED. I EVEN SAID ONE OF THE EXECUTIVE THAT CALS ARE GETTING DISCONNECTED ABRUPTLY(EVENTHOUGH I CALLED FROM AN AREA WHERE I HAD FULL SIGNAL)SO TAKE CARE OF IT.I ASKED HIS EMPLOYEE NMBER BEFORE STARTING THE CONVERSATION BUT HE REFUSED TO GIVE INSTEAD HE SAID HIS NAME WAS HARIPRASAD. AFter having spent so much money my issue is unresolved. i Want my money back as well as i want them to take back their device and give back my money. since the consumer laws in india arenot so strong as in some other countries where i have worked before things like this heppen daily. ateleast i found this forum here andI BELIEVE THIS POST CAN HELP ME GET OUT OF MY ISSUE AND HELP MANY OTHRS WHO PALN TO CHOOSE AIRTEL. i hope i get a reply.

                        I have got the message from airtel to recharge by 57 in which you will get talktime of 57 Rs. and STD is of 40p/min and any Local call of 30p/min on the deduction of 1 Rs. for the first minute of 1st call.
                        So I have recharged my number by 57 on the same day (i.e. 01/July/2013) but unfortunately i didn't the the money (i.e. 57 Rs.) and also today (i.e. 29/July/2013), they expired my recharge and when I called at their customer care they told me this offer was not valid on your number and cut the phone.

                        I received a message on 31.12.2007 as above:

                        "Recharge today with any validity voucher & get bonus 25 A2A Talktime valid for 30 days. Talktime will be credited within 48 hours."

                        (I know that those customer are enjoy the offer, who received the relevent sms with offer.)

                        After received this msg, I recharged my number with 401 RC voucher, but I have not received any Talktime till date. I complained in ur Customer Care and they give me the complain no. 22518800 and 24hours for solve the problem but no result then I also complained (as Airtel direction) in 121 on 12.01.08 and 14.01.08 but no body have the responsibilities to give any response to their client. It is very bad exp. with the AirTel.

                        Rs 25/- is not a big matter, but Airtel has no commitment and no good support to their clients. All the executives always give 24 or 48 hours to solve the problem, but they couldn't do it.

                        I am waiting a possitive responce from ur end.

                        I just did a recharge of 222 on my Airtel GSM.When I spoke to the customer care officer he said that it was a talktime recharge and not a validity recharge.He asked me to do a validity recharge again.I am going to do a validity recharge again.

                        I got a local-national message card recharged on 02.04.2010 (Trans ID- [protected]). According to this scheme, one could send 500 sms per day to any national and local number. To my surprise, just in 7 days this service got deactivated and an amount of 35 rs got deducted from my balance.
                        Immediately after i made a complaint calling at the customer care but no steps are being taken.

                          I am using Airtel for more than 5 years but i am not satisfied with this network. they r charging much call rates and i requested for portability but they called me giving some offers and i am satisfied with them and they r not activating the plan given by them and also not leaving me.. they r saying wait it will be proceed in 2 day again and again. it takes more than 1 week.. they r not solving and not leaving me.

                          AirTel — Airtel : Worst customer service

                          Airtel has got the worst customer service among all the service operators. Firstly, they deactivated my connection because I exceeded the call limit, without any warning or prior intimidation. Secondly when I try to contact them from my phone, they didn’t pick it up only. I then called them from my friend’s phone and they promptly picked it up. But again once they realised it was me, they disconnected it. It is like ‘you don’t pay us, now suffer’. This happened with some of my friends too

                          AirTel — Poor Service in Net work & Customer Service

                          As there was poor service in net work, my calls were frequently got disconnected. I called customer care to discuss this, But they denied saying they are not understanding the problem. After my 3-4 discussion with customer care, I sent a complaint to Nodal officer of Mumbai through email. The automated email has been sent saying they will take action within 7 days. Bit it’s a 20th day still they are not done anything......... what a service they give.

                          AirTel — Worst OFfers in Airtel

                          .STD are very high cost compared to other network. I think they are cheating us.. so try to avoid... we can go to other network. Now they announce Diwali offer 301 for 301 full talktime.. in this offer rich peoples only recharge.. what about middle class and low class..

                          I took Airtel prepaid connection 2 years back(3 connections).Suddenly one day they stopped one of the connections saying address proof is not available like that.Then i submitted the proof to Airtel office(WhiteField) as well as known local Mobile Shop(Where you can get New sim).After doing that i called customer care 8 times in a periodic interval.They stopped outgoing first then incoming also...Very worst customer care...Airtel is one of the worst customer care sorry it is just information center they wil tell u status and cheat you perfectly

                            I need your GPRS services so sending an DMO SMS to 52505 for activation & 52567 for settings but not services are provided me but the charges are deducted same time.

                            Am calling your customer care 121, 12143 & [protected] continue sly since Saturday but nobody able to help me.

                            Again am sending another massage for 299/- monthly plan for GPRS the same situation an faced charges are deducted but services not available.

                            we have get 2 postpaid new numbers 1)[protected] 2)[protected] cv199 plan, this 2 numbers are in cug group the caling between these two numbers are unlimited free but we are able to get this facility because of the credit limit our credit limit is 1200 this credit amount is not sufficient for us, by caling only between this two numbers our unbilled usage is cross over our credit limit and we can not call to each other so plz increse our credit limit and get more talk time to us thank you.

                            Dear Sir

                            This is an ongoing issue for quite sometime with Airtel inspite of repeated requests to them to stop deducting illegal charges from the pre-paid connection I have with them. Last time I gave complaint regarding automated jokesfrom their AirtelLive(55382) charging me Rs.30/month and Re.1/joke after which they credited my account with Rs.10 only for the blunder they had committed. However, they have again sent a message from 543211(Airtel) on 6 April 2011 @ 16:26hrs(4:26pm) saying ''Welcome to HelloTunes.You have been charged Rs.10 for 10 days.You will be charged Rs.30/month on next renewal.''
                            My phone was recharged with Rs.350 full talktime but now the balance is left with just Rs.45 approx. Kindly consider this as an offence as airtel is harassing mentally by unwanted calls, unwanted messages and services which are not asked for.

                            I therefore, request you to take stern action on them and make them reimburse the whole amount at the earliest as this is not the first time this has happened.

                            Airtel — Mobile bill much higher than credit limit

                            Hi all,
                            I possess airtel postpaid corporate number in my name . The average bill which I received is generally around Rs 180. The credit limit on my number Rs 1200. This month I activated GPRS(Rs 98 2 gb plan) service on my mobile.
                            Firstly, I asked for Rs 199 unlimited GPRS plan and they activated a 2 gb plan. I kept using it thinking it was an unlimited plan.This was the first mistake on their side.

                            Secondly, the mobile I received for this month( only 10 days usage) was Rs 11578 . Then they deactivated my outgoing calls and other services. The bill exceeded my credit limit(Rs 1200) by more than 10 times. I neither received any notifications or message from airtel, nor did they stopped my services when credit limit was crossed. I feel so frustated and helpless on this issue. I have spent lot of my energy in calling and emailing customer care and airtel spoc in my company but they didnt respond with any satisfaction. The airtel service provider unofficially told me that my bill cannot exceed my credit limit in any case. I am shocked on seeing my bill amount. Airtel sucks. I preferred airtel earlier because of the quality of service they provided. But now I am not going to use airtel service in my entire lifetime and I advice others to stay away from it. Their services are so poor and carelessness is in abundance. They dont care for customers' grievances. They only believe in fooling aroung the customer and extracting money from them.

                            I as a new air-tel mobile broadband user has been billed on my post paid connection in the amount of 52124 INR how ever my credit limit of the account is 1000 INR and now when the connection is deactivated i get collection calls to make this payment . which is very difficult for me PAY .
                            i feel i was cheated initially and was not advised about the hidden bill charges applied ..
                            this is the second time i have been threatened to make this payment initially in the month of Feb i had made a payment in the amount of 4000 INR that was just because i used the device for a month i was adv that the bill wont be above 1000 INR . i was cheated very badly ..

                              Hi Sir

                              Earlier i used to pay Rs.99 topup for unlimited night downloads.
                              But I had switched to Airtel 999 for unlimited broadband plan in 2011.
                              and Airtel are still charging me Rs.99 under DSL top up charges untill now.

                              i have been off the country for year and half and havent seen the bill.

                              But for more than a year i had been paying this Rs.99 for unlimited night downoads where i am already in unlimited plan.

                              when i say this to customer service they say you havent submitted request for deactivation for Topup of Rs.99. It sounds so stupid because when i switch to unlimited plan which mean to say irrespective of day/night the download is unlimited.So why on earth i wanted unlimited Rs.99 Topup for unlimited night downloads.

                              .Regarding this i already had an interaction with customer service in person Ref.no:[protected].when i called customer service peolpe say that the system does not update our earlier interaction.

                              AirTel — Airtel robbing the customers

                              I received a call from Airtel that they are giving a new postpaid connection .Their representatives came to my office and took the initial deposit from me but after that they have not activated my connection yet .It has been 10 days now .I call to the customer care, their office but these people do not respond .I do not understand one thing that how can the goverment be silent on these types of issues ???This type of activity is sheer .Anybody will call from a company and come take money from the consumer and get lost after that ?????It is high time for the govrment to respond on this type of erroneous activities by the companies ...
                              hi, i am Karan Gambhir...my prepaid number is [protected] and in the evening my today (14th October 2008) my balance got deducted by about 30 Rs for which i did not get ne msg from Airtel.

                              my balance was sumwhere close to Rs 144 and on checking in the evening my balance was Rs.114.

                              i tried complaining on the Airtel cutomer care but the executive did not have information about it, and he told me to call after 24 hours.

                              please note i am not using ANY extra service except for Hello Tunes for which already Rs.200 was deducted from my account.

                              I want a refund of those Rs.30 !!..its highly annoying.i am really really dissappointed with Airtel and request you to register a complaint from my side, and pls make sure a get a resolution for the same !

                                My mobile credit limit exceedeed about 2 times in just three days when it reached to this credit limit, for this when i asked to one of airtel customer care executive about this credit limit they told me your credit limit should be reveiwed in minimum three months, when i asked so if credit limit increased in minimum three months so why you incresed my credit limit in just two times in three days they increased my limit rs 1500 on 1st july 2013, and then again 3rd of july 2013 when just it reached ,another executive told your credit limit should be reviewed as per your talk time, Another executive said your credit limit is only depend on your outstanding bill and if it exceed this limit the number will automatically barred but my no will remained continued after exceeding this credit limit and they can,t gave me any response or message about when n how my credit limit exceedeed their executive without give me any response immidiately cut the call and told me we're trasfeered call to our senior executive.this problem is goes on about eight days from 19th july 2013 and now at last finally they barred my call today 27th july 2013.

                                Airtel — cutting amount without any information

                                My phone no. is [protected] and an amount Rs. 62/- has been cut from my prepaid account without any information. When contacting they are telling dealer makes a complaint as wrong recharge so we cut the amount . But I purchased a new card value worth 125/- . Initially it is showing full balance suddently
                                an amount of Rs.62/- cut from my account

                                Bharti Airtel — Billed Amount

                                have been your client since last 7 years and i have never had any inconvenience which I am proud of because it helped me support Airtel.

                                Since last few days i am facing alot of inconvenience which is causing harrasement.

                                On 14th March i got the message from Airtel that total unbilled amount on my phone is 4682

                                On 16th March I got another message which said that the unbilled amount on my phone is 10642 which is 6000 increase with in 2 days.

                                I didnt go out side Delhi during this period, i dont call those hotlines then i dont understant how can my bill be this much.

                                Apart from this my credit limit is 7000 then i dont understand that i didnt get any intimation that my bill is 7k or 8k, it straightaway reached 10k+

                                I have called your customer service and i didnt get any response which answers my question, I would request you to look in to it on an urgent basis.

Validity 31st July 2013 And My 3G balance 2 was 300 MB and its validity was 16th august 2013. I was complained about 3G speed issue. After Complaining My balance Rs. 580 was deducted from main balance. Your execucative told on 27th July 2013 we will refund only Rs. 150. Kindly Check My Net Uses from 2nd july to 25th july. How much Data I spent and How much remained. And refund my Rs. 580.

                                    mere mobile No [protected] se date[protected] ko bina kisi karan ke 500/- ka balance kat liya gaya jankari lene par bataya ki mere mobile se international call kiye gaye hai detail lene par jankari nahi di. or bar-bar kahne par meri complaint note ki avm mughe date 24-05-09 ko complaint no. [protected] or, date 08-06-09 ko ek bar fir complaint no. [protected] de diya gaya, lekin aaj tak kisi bhi complaint ka solution nahe hua.

                                    my balance has been deducted by 31 rs and when i called airtel customer care about this they said you have used airtel live which i havent used it..i told them and they were not ready to solve it.they even not talking properly.i work in a firm where i can access net anytime so y shud i use net on my fone..and y shud i lie for that...airtel is spoiling its name by doing these cheap things.i am a customer of airtel from last 6 yrs bt now i will never suggest any body to buy airtel connection.

                                      My name is Bhavik. I was using Airtel Broadband Service and always paid the bill on time. I disconnected the service in APR 2013 due to change of address. There was some pending balance for which I never received the bill but my service was disconnected as I had requested. On 19/7/2013 I received a call from Airtel Collections department that there is a pending balance on the account and asked me to pay it. Since I was out of town at that time, I asked them to send me the bill by email so that I can take care of that. I never received the bill on my email.

                                      On Friday 26/7, I received the call from them asking if I had paid the bill. When I said I have not received the bill, the lady on the phone confirmed my email address that was on their records and it was incorrect. I gave her the correct email address and she sent the bill which I received and confirmed to her while we were on the phone. On Saturday 27/7, I received a call from the same lady and she started talking very rudely. Unfortunately, I had a medical emergency in my family and had to attend to that. I told her not to call me repeatedly and that I was unable to pay the bill today but will do so tomorrow. She kept asking me to confirm the "Date and Time" by which I will pay the bill. Only a can ask such a question since It is practically impossible for anyone to answer that question. The lady was shameless and despite me telling her that I have a family emergency today, she was not willing to let go and kept asking "The payment is late. I need a date and time by which you will pay the Bill". Finally I disconnected the phone. After that she kept calling me immediately again and again. I answered the phone and told her that I cannot talk right now and that I will take care of the bill soon. Again, she started taking rudely. When I told her that I am going to disconnect the phone, she asked me to speak to her manager Rahul Sharma. Thinking that the "manager" would be a reasonable person, I agreed to talk to him. To my dismay, he started asking the same questions "Give me a date and time when you will pay the bill...blah blah blah". When I disconnected the phone, he started calling my phone repeatedly. HE CALLED ME REPEATEDLY 25 TIMES FROM 2 DIFFERENT NUMBERS - [protected] AND [protected]. BOTH THE "MANAGER" AND THE LADY CLAIMED TO BE AIRTEL EMPLOYEES.

                                      I know that Airtel customer service is monitoring this form. My questions are...

                                      1. I had neither received any call nor a paper bill about the outstanding amount. Why did the bill go directly to collections? Isn't it common sense to contact the customer first and only if he does not pay the bill, send it to collections?

                                      2. Doesn't Airtel train their collection personnel? They sound like a bunch of rude and frustrated losers who do not know how to interact with a customer.

                                      3. A customer with an outstanding bill is not a criminal, especially since he pays a "LATE FEE" on the next bill. In my case, I had no clue about the outstanding amount and no attempt was made by Airtel to contact me and inform me about the outstanding amount. The losers from customer service (Rahul Sharma and a lady whose name I cannot remember) were acting like I have committed a crime.

                                      4. Calling anyone on their mobile 25 times back to back is nothing short of harassment. Especially when the other person is already going through an emotional distress and have spoken with you and explained his situation

                                      5. Doesn't Airtel look at customer's tenure and past billing payment history before sending the bill to collection ? A quick look at my tenure as a customer and past bill payment history would have given a lot of information

                                      Again, I am not disputing the bill. My point is that my bill cannot be deemed late since I was never informed that I have an outstanding amount. I should have been contacted through regular channels before sending the bill to collections who are a bunch of insensitive . Next time this happens, I am going to file both a criminal complaint and a complaint in the consumer court for Harassment. I know other people who have had similar experiences for no fault of their own.
