Hi All,
We are using Air tel Digital tv from almos 5 months and this is the worst service I have come across in private sector. Even during the world cup we are not able to get the connection in spite of calling the customer care for almost 100 times in a day, they are not bothered to send a technician even for a small technical fault. Airtel customer care people are the most irresponsible, unprofessional irritating and annoying people in customer centric domain. I really suggest all the customers across to go for the Local Cable provider rather than using Air tel Digital TV. They should close this business as they are good for nothing and wasting others time and killing business for people who better deserve it with their stupid and useless STB. They should be having shame on themselves. I still remember few of them - Shoiab Padhan, Koyal DasGupta are few of the people I was in touch with for their stupid service.

I am a customer of AIR TEL DIGITAL TV ID- [protected], my set up box was not functioning so i took to the here customer care office in CRPF square Bhubaneswar, they changed and gave old one.Now that also got technical problem and I paid so it was repaired and again after 2 month the same probblem came.Now they are asking me Rs.350/-for old setup box which has only 3 month warranty.If you provide this kind of service then how can we manage?So please provide necessary service as soon as possible since I have recharged and now amount is getting deduct day by day.
Airtel Digital TV — STB stopped working
Sir,I am Raghu. My Digital TV customer ID is [protected]. I am having problem with my set top box since today[protected] morning.
STB is switched ON but it is not able to display picture on my TV. I have checked all the connections of wires. The STB has also become very slow.

Airtel Digital TV — installation issue
Hi Sir,I have got a sony bravia lcd with which i was given a free airtel digital tv.I received the coupon and paid the registration fees of 750/- on 27th of feb 2011.After that i called up customer care a several times bt there ws no response.They promised me that the technician will come within 24 gours.Bt still they dint come and evrytime i call ,they gv me some or the other excuses and take a request.this is simply a Harrasment.
What i think now is i made a big mistake of paying the fees.I trusted airtel bt now i think its a shame for the Airtel company.I am a working proffesional.But still i waited for them when they promised to come.Nw i am thinking of filing a consumer harrasment case against Airtel.

Airtel Digital TV — INSTALLATION OF HD STB
i have requested to upgrade my normal dth connection to HD connection mycustomer id is [protected] . as per conversation with rupesh customer

Airtel DTH — NO response from company
I am an AIRTEL DTH consumer - consumer no[protected]. Since the past one month I have ben logging in at least 12 times to reuqest for re-installation of my dish antena after I have shifted house in Kharghar - Navi Mumbai. While I was given at least two dates for the re-installation, no one called and no one visited for the job. I am sitting with a dead TVand unsable dish connection.My last conversation was yesterday (28th April 2011) wherein I was comprehensively assured that he re-installation will be done by 12 noon on 29th.
Again, nothing has happened. No connection made. No call from any engineer or technical person for the job. As a customer, I am patiently awaiting the arrival of GOD. No other option available to me.
Will SOMEONE IN AIRTEL please expalin the delay and WHEN - if at all- I can see my TV again???
I wish to unsubscribe to AIRTEl - but I am told that no refund will be made. I stand to lose Rs.2000+ if i dont wait. I stand to lose money and peace of mind while I wait.
SOme one - please help resolve the issue.

Now my online bill shows 6821.67 Total Billed Amount (Balance as per last month's statement). If that includes only your charge if 5990 then I need the complete refund of 6821.67Rs.

I have spoken to your customer care centre ( had no other option) yesterday night again!!! One Mr Sudhir had personally and repeatedly assured that the matter will be resolved by 12.30 noon today and that the dish will be positively reinstalled. He also offered to call me up and confirm the re-installation.
But as some of your colleague at AIRTEL DTH are completely shameless and have taken the customer for granted, no one had the basic courtesy to call, and no one bothered to come, and my antenna is still lying on my floor.
As an Airtel employee you are sufficiently shielded from the ground reality and the customer through numerous call centre layers.And as a customer we have no choice but to suffer people like you.
Please do consider the fact that your salary and perks and the very food that you and your family eats daily is because WE CUSTOMERS PAY hard money. So it will be nice if you could spare a few moments to provide the customer what he pays for, rather than cheating him repeatedly.
I have spoken to your customer care centre ( had no other option) yesterday night again!!! One Mr Sudhir had personally and repeatedly assured that the matter will be resolved by 12.30 noon today and that the dish will be positively reinstalled. He also offered to call me up and confirm the re-installation.
But as some of your colleague at AIRTEL DTH are completely shameless and have taken the customer for granted, no one had the basic courtesy to call, and no one bothered to come, and my antenna is still lying on my floor.
As an Airtel employee you are sufficiently shielded from the ground reality and the customer through numerous call centre layers.And as a customer we have no choice but to suffer people like you.

Airtel Digital TV — re installation
i hv relocated from BARODA to DELHI& want my airtel digital t.v to be relocated....but even aftr 15 days & more than 20 calls to customer care it doesn't i even talk to their technical heads ...but all in vain...
even more they eating up my money rs 10 per day...
& once it finished the calls for more else complaint couldn't be forwarded...
i am so frustrated with airtel sevice ...that i alresdy throw up their sim card & looking for KABADIWALA to sell the dish ...

I have booked Airtel Digital TV yesterday on the eve and joy of watching world cup final. They promised me that the installation will be completed within 24 Hours and I will get a call from installation person on that account. However, 24 Hours expired and did not get any call. I called the customer care and informed my booking reference. He promised to arrange a call within 2 Hours. Even that 2 hours expired now, I did not get any call.
I am getting nervous and did not anticipate such a poor service. Please don't go for AIRTEL DIGITAL TV anymore, as you will end up with false promises and frustrations. I would like to legally proceed against them for false promises

I have purchased airetl digital TV connection and past two months some came in set box and I called to customer care center. After many time made telephone a engineer visited and collected Rs 200 for visiting charge but till date the problem has not been rectified. My ID No is [protected]. You are true man... I'm also a victim of Airtel DTH. they have charged me 6000 rupees with no reason from my credit card.. on jan 2011.. till date they have not given me the refund...I've been sending emails and calling the customer care and the same thing happeining to me too... my registered mobile number - [protected]

Airtel DTH — irresponsible and ignorant customer care executives
Hi,This is Nivedita, Airtel DTH customer #[protected].
I moved house recently, and logged in an application for the DTH set up to be moved accordingly. It has been MORE THAN WEEKS now, and no one from Airtel has responded, or taken any steps towards making things work.
And today, I received a message from Airtel saying the “issue has been resolved”. I would very much like to know how the issue can been resolved, when no one turned up at my doorstep and your customer care number, [protected] is perpetually “busy”.

Again I’m facing the same problem with “Adithya” TV. From Apr 01, 2011 I’m not able to view this channel. I have tried contacting the customer service over phone, however the call keeps disconnecting.
I’m totally dis-satisfied with their service. Last time when this problem occurred, I was promised again that this will not occur. However this has happened again…..and again….. This is the 6th time this has happened since Jan 2011.
They give this Adithya TV as per their convenience? Suddenly they remove this from the Free Tamil Top, when I was promised this channel as part of the free tamil top-up.
They also keep sending reminders for paying the Monthly charges very promptly. Why do I need to pay for the services which I do not enjoy???

1) Adithya TV - 517
2) Captain TV - 518
3) Vasanth TV - 519
4) Set Max
I am getting Adithya and Set Max whereas I couldnt see Captain and Vasanth. It is saying still I have to subscribe. But the cost has deducted for all the 4 chanels. Let me know why it is happening ?
