This is Shailendra Singh, booked an Airtel Digital TV (HD+) and it was committed to get it installed cum activated with in 48 hrs but even after the seven days nobody came to do said activity. And,I also lodged couple of complaint of same but no response till time. Hoping that I would get some relief to an extent after lodging the complaint thru this forum.

AirTel — poor response

whenever a complaint is lodged, a fixed reply comes that your query shall be replied in ... hrs, which is never done.

Right now, I am unable to access the web as they are blocking the Date column & then asking to submit the DATE of Birth

Earlier also I had tried it several times, but No Response from co.
Always same----shall reply in ... hrs.

I AM PEEVED TO SAY THAT I AM FED UP OF YOUR TERRIBLE CUSTOMER CARE AND IRRITATING SERVICES.
I HAVE UNFORTUNATELY BUYED TWO SET TOP BOXES OF AIRTEL DIGITAL TV FROM A SHOP AT KANPUR ON 6 MONTHS FREE SUBSCRIPTION SCHEME (M/S SARALA AGENCY)ON 23 rd DEC, ’08.
ON THE DAY OF INSTALLATION I HAVE USED ONE OF MY TWO ACTIVATION VOUCHER WORTH Rs 2000/= SR NO# [protected]& AND 3 -4 DAYS LATER WHEN I TRIED TO ACTIVATE THE SECOND VOUCHER THE VOUCHER WAS TERMED INVALID.
MY CURRENT ACCOUNT IS PRESENTLY STATED AS NEGATIVE Rs 1500/=.
I HAVE TRIED TO ACTIVATE THIS VOUCHER ON INNUMERABLE OF TIMES BUT A COMPUTERISED VOICE STATES THAT THE SCRATCH CODE FOR THE ABOVE TRANSACTION IS INVALID.
I HAVE CALLED YOUR TOLL FREE NO [protected] WHICH I THINK IS THE WORST CUSTOMER CARE I HAVE EVER CALLED.
MY FIRST COMPLAINT NO. 486641 WAS NOT FIXED AND WAS CLOSED WITHOUT ANY TELECOMMUNICATION.
MY SECOND COMPLAINT IN SAME REFERENCE #NO.493296 IS NOT AS YET FIXED, WHICH WAS REGISTERED ON 15 TH JAN, ’09.
I REGRET TO SAY THAT IF THE ABOVE ISSUE IS NOT BEING FIXED AT PRIORTY I WILL HAVE TO MOVE TO THE CONSUMER FORUM.

AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — Poor Service and Response

I am unable to add a new package in my account. They say the account is not active but I am able to watch the channels. They re-installed the connection in a new location after that they the account is not active. They have taken Rs.600/- from my account and they the account is not active. I have spoken with the Manager of the Call center of the Digital TV. He promised me the service will be active with in 2 days but even after 10 days they say its not active. The same manager has also promised that he will call me back with in 2 days. But he never kept his promise.

Airtel — non responsive customer care

My mobile no is [protected].
I had recevied a massage on 8 nov 08, saying that all my std calls will be charged Rs 1/min. but when I called on std nos. they charged Rs 1.5/min. Then i Went to customer care for the same they listen & added the extra charged amount to my mobile balance & said the service will be activated soon. but this service is still not activated. I had talked to the customer care several time regarding this but they don't respond to this, even they cut the phone, while they can say that they can't solve it or forward to seniors.
Kindly look after this matter.

My name is gopal. I am using Airtel network since 1year. Recently i am facing problem like continuiously receiving messages (from mobile no. 5432101) at the same time i am loosing one rupee per each message. So please rectify this and stop sending messages. Awaiting for your reply. Kindly do the need ful.

AirTel — Poor customer response

I have been an airtel customer since 1999. In 2003, I took up their offer of 'lifetime connection' paying a whopping Rs.999 then. After migrating to UK, I used to use this connection intermittently. In 2007, I realized the connection was deactivated. On my immediate trip to India, I visited the Bannerghatta road where my request was met with a pathetic front desk. After several communication including copies to Mittal, the chairman and reminders by email and phone calls from India and UK, finally one of the nodal officer agreed to issue the number to my cousin, so I can still hold the SIM. I hold this SIM card and continually have flushed money into this SIM. However for whatsoever reason not known to me, I can never make outgoing calls. I could sent text messages. After this realisation, my cousin and I have sent out at least 30 communication to customer care, nodal officers, appellate officer. Besides the automated email, we have had zero response. A message

We tried contacting Amrita Gangotra, via email and social media with a responsible officer as her who is at the helm of affairs refusing to connect.

The AIRTEL customer relations have become so very structural and pathetic, it has bottomed out to the worst possible mobile service provider ever I have come across. It clearly reflects as to how much we Indians can be treated to bureaucracy and cheating by such providers. Standard email responses without any customizations, irresponsive staff right from bottom-line to the top. My personal opinion is that one must try other service providers who spent much less on Advertisements and focuses on quality people to interact with customers to cater to their needs. I am big follower of Shah Rukh Khan, but pity that he is not aware as to what his image is up against recommending a brand that stands to me for structural bureaucracy and holds a penchant to harass customers. Should India have had a number migration, I would have been moving this number to other suitable providers.

Airtel DTH — Poor Response

Hi

This is Mahesh here. I got a situation.
For past 1.8 years i am using Airtel DTH i got a issue with signal so raised a request and could not be resolved, complained of an issue with the Clamp in the reciever. Since that was an old version of DTH they said " they dont have the clamp entire DTH has to be changed" this was fair enough.

I got a new package this guys tried installing it couldnt get proper signal and complained of the wiring issue and installed a new wire. He tried something to get it work temporarily and the signal goes down intermittently its freaking me out to reach to customer care. Other than raising the compliant request number i don't see any action in this regards. Some Please help in this regard on how to raise the complaint to a manager. Customer support executive is cutting the call when i ask for a manager.

Please help me registering a complaint. I am completely pissed with this issue.
I am without a connection for more than a week.
I have opted 2nd time for Airtel DTH for their customer service but you guys are proving it wrong.

AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — Awful service

I have Airtel Digital TV connection(id no. [protected]) for the past 8 months and have been recharging online every time before time always for maintaining the connection. However, for the last two times
even though I recharged well before expiry, I kept getting sms from Airtel suggesting that my connection would be disconnected. Called up customer care (which is again difficult to get through!) and explained the issue. The first executive was adamant and wanted my debit card number even when I kept on insisting that it was a netbanking transaction and I gave him the transaction ID. Call got disconnected and the next executive was better and I was told that the complaint has been raised and it was a glitch in the software that probably did not update the info. Problem was resolved but recurred again the next time. My expiry date was 22nd march and I recharged with Rs300 on 18th March but still I started getting sms from Airtel. Initially, I ignored thinking that it might be the same software glitch problem however the sms continued and I called up the cutomer care number. It was hell getting through that number. had to wait for 15 minutes to talk to an executive. Again explained him the situation and was given the same response that it is a software glitch and that I should not worry. But alas on 24th march my connection was discontinued!!!!!!!!
I have decided to get away with airtel digital TV and would advise others not to venture into it as well. They spend lot of money on filmstars for promoting their product, it would have been better if they spent the money on better software and product !!!

AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — Poor Product & Worst Service

I've bought 2 Airtel DTH connections in hope that I'll be able to view good quality TV. These are bunch of crooks. There have been problems since starting and it is the worst service provider. I've faced so many problems with Airtel DTH that i can write a complete book on it. Here are the details:

1) Installation time provided 24 hrs. Installed after 5 days due poor internal coordination
2) Everytime there is some wind the dish stop getting signals from satellite and TV is down for 24 hrs.
3) Customer care gives 24 hrs time for complaint to be attended and they appear after 48 hrs.
4) May 21st i registered a complaint, a message came that engineer will visit tomorrow before 2 pm while the engineer did not come and I received the message that your complaint has been resolved while DTH was still dead. I had to register the complaint again and it got attended to after another 24 hrs.
5) Yesterday there was some heavy wind and my TV is dead since then, called up the customer care yesterday and as usual the server is down we can't register the complaint. Called up today and the response is that we'll attend to your complaint after 24 hrs.

Worst service Airtel DTH, Product Airtel DTH. Third class customer service Airtel DTH.

AirTel — Poor Response/Service

It is amazing how Airtel still survives. I lodged a complaint on 14th May and again on 16th May as well as after two weeks on 31st May that my landline cum broadband is not working. Amazing customer services which hitherto unheard of was doing the rouns assuring"Give us one more day", "Give us one more chance",etc,. and I visited their Indira Nagar Office near the Footbridge. Amazing scenes witnessed at the queue of Broadband/Landline with atleast a dozen customers with similar complaints. Each one asking they wanted to see the Manager. The lady at the counter was helpless and to add insult to injury, their Manager-Ms.Barkha comes peeping out every five minutes and whispers to the counter to get rid of the customers as soon as possible with little attempt even to care for the horrible situation faced by Airtel customers. Such is the state of affairs of Airtel and I finally cancelled my landline and went for another subscriber telecom company.
My advice to one and all- "Once upon a time there was Airtel but not any more as it is HellTell"

AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — POOR SERVICES & NON RESPONSIVE TO CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS

I am a most promising customer on Airtel digital TV network but now i have only to say that AIRTEL IS A POOR SERVICE PROVIDER & A NON RESPONSIVE CUSTOMER SERVICE PROVIDER.

On 26th june i have requested to migrate to have movies now activated in my channels; for migration possibility i have confirmed my availability on week ends (saturday & sunday). but nothing got shaped up. finally i was forced to withdraw my request on movies now.

With no prior information on 16th Aug 2011; an service engineer arrives my resd & in presence of my wife he got the migration thing done; whle he left we found that only 3-4 channels were active while almost all the channels were not Working error NO SIGNAL = B001

Complaint was filed and was assured to get this complaingt resolved by 3:30 pm on 17th Aug 2011.

On 17th Aug 2011; NO SOLUTION
A message was made to my registered mobile reading as problem resolved; but nothing happened. On checking with the customer service desk i was told as wrong mobile number and wrong adress. I have crosschecked the same with the dealer M/s Hitech and find that my resd at GT road Sahibabad is not a part of his execution territory. this was again updated to the customer care supervisor.with a complaint on the dealer too.
Again it was comitted that the problem will be resolved by 3:30 on 18th Aug 2011.

No solution; this time when i sopke to the senior supervisor - customer servise desk he responded in a negative manner;
PROBLEM REMAINED: AS IT WAS.

This complaint was forwarded to NODAL OFFICER at [protected]; where this was assured that the problem will be resolved in mext two hours.And waiver will be provided for the non functional days.
OUTCOME OF THE DAY: NO TV SIGNAL

20th Aug 2011.
the condition remained the same; spoke to customer care executive and was commited
that the problem will be resolved in next couple of hours. and finally the day went off with no solutions.

NOW WITH LOT OF DISSATISFACTION TO AIRTEL I CAN ONLY SAY SORRY FOR THE SERVICES I HAVE EXPERIENCED WITH AIRTEL DIGITAL TV SERVICE

NEVER GO ON AIRTEL DIGITAL SERVICES NOW FOR THIS WAS EARLIER A GOOD SERVICE IN THE PAST BUT NOT NOW.

Bharti Airtel — Poor response and service

My Airtel number is [protected].

Paid Rs 98 for GPRS connectivity on June 21. The service did not get activated inspite of calls to 121, 198, 12118 and mails to [protected]@in.airtel.com and messages to 52212, 543210.

The mail response was to seek time upto June 29 to do the required setting on Airtel side for activation of the service which should have been automatic on payment of the fee!

Two vists to the Airtel Shop in Banjara Hills where I paid the amount were also unhelpful.

Finally, after many misdirections from 198 and 121 a supervisor resolved the very simple issue by taking approipriate action. A simple matter required hours of effort spread over two days!

    Hi, I had asked Airtel to disconnect the connection on 11th Oct 2012 because I was not in India since 11th October 2012 and I'd sent email for discontinuation on the same date to [protected]@airtel.in. I did not got any mail failure when I sent the email hence I assumed the email was correct and also I was using [protected]@airtel.in for all communications till then.

    I only realized your email got changed (Please note I was never intimated of the change anytime) when I sent another email on 22nd December 2012 to [protected]@airtel.in asking for clarification as to why the bills are generated when I already sent email for discontinuation on 11th October itself from my email Id (which is registered in my account profile) rahul.[protected]@yahoo.com.

    From that period I'm constantly getting reminder emails and despite of asking to call me to clarify/settle the issue no one has called and for every reminder email I have sent my clarification each time.

    Recently I got another email of threating me to take legal action against me. I'm asked to pay for the services I never used and for which I contacted Airtel to disconnect.

    I would really appreciate if I could receive some assistance in taking this complaint forward and stopping such harassment from happening in future.

    Airtel Broadband — Incorrect Billing

    Hello All,

    I had requested for a Airtel 555 Broadband plan. This was provided at my residence on 29th Dec 2008. I have very limited use of broadband .. Inspite of limited use I have been billed Rs 3746 as unbilled usuage charges. On complaining to the customer service desk @ Airtel I did not find a sympathetic listening from the supervisor. She put the onus squarely on me to prove the fraud and misuse. In frustation merely 2 weeks after subscribing to Airtel Service I have requested discontinuation and will be filing a case againt the company in court
    We have been using airtel broadband connection for the past 5 years. We used to get bill in the range of 1500/- to 3500/-. Last month to our shock we received a bill for 51, 858/- which is exorbitantly high. We launched a complaint on 22nd June, 2009(Complaint no.[protected] and informed the customer care that there is some mistake at their end we know for sure our usage and our downloads are also limited. The issue has not been sorted out till date.

    Airtel Broadband — Incorrect Bill

    I Jagdeep Shokeen r o H.N. 3642 Sector 23 Gurgaon is using Airtel Broadband for last 1 year.
    My Airtel Land line number is[protected].

    I was using Rs 250 combo plan with night top up. In first week of july I requested for plan change to Rs 899 unlimited. I have been promised that speed in my new plan is equivalent to my previous plan but I found out that was not the case. So I requested for my previous plan (250 Combo + night top up) to be re-activated.

    In second week of july I got the confirmation that my previous plan is reactivated.

    now when I get july bill it is around Rs 10 000. Charging is done without any top ups and free time.

    This is highly unjustified.

    I have raised 2 concerns with your customer service on 27th July 9th August.

    I am Subhashree Nayak, customer id is [protected][protected]@airtelbroadband.in using Airtel service from 1month.My landline number is [protected].

    I was using 128 kbps with unlimited download with Rs 599/- plan.

    But at the monthend while i was calling to customer care to pay the mothly rental fee, that pepole said that You are in Rs799/- plan how is it possible.You pepole are automatically entry the Rs 799/-plan without my information.Means You are cheating the customers.

    And second thing is my landline bill is Rs1800/-.Its totally impossible.As i am single user, i didnt call this much amount as per my knowledge and also when i was checking my landline without i call toa ny number the landline bill is increasing.Why this problem is occuring.And i also give complaing to customercare in the middle of the month they said dont give complain now, at the moth end give complain to us.At the month end i came to know my bill is Rs1800/-.So what should i do.Really i am dissatisfied with airtel service .I didnt expect this from airtel.

    Please i am requesting to do verification for my internet speed and also landline bill as soon as possible.

    This is highly unjustified.

    Airtel — Unjustified Rent

    I had an Airtel Internet connection.I asked for a yly bill as against the mthy. During the period the service was very poor hence requested to convert into mthy or disconnect the service.They disconnected the service & now after 6 months they are asking us to pay rent for the entire yr for the service we have not used,They are telling that as per policy we are suppose to pay for the yr & if we disconnect no refund.Require your help in knowing whether actually we are suppose to pay for the yr for the service we have not used.We are being harassed with legal notice.

    Airtel Broadband — Harrassment by Airtel

    I have a Airtel number[protected].This is to inform that i was billed for Rs. 1550 which was paid on 16 September'09 through online transfer.Errouneously it was transfered to[protected]it was typo error). I have informed Airtel the same date and till date we have made more than 20 calls to reverse the entry..We are also ready to provide bank statement as proof which would reflect the amount debited from my Wife's account (Rashi Sinha). but its in vain. Airtel helpline number always provide a new complaint number but no resolution. Each time we call they inform that the problem would be resolved and amount would be credited within two days but its been more than one and half month and amount has not been credited back. Now their collection agency is harrasing that they will disconnect our line if payment is not made for the month of October'09. My question is wht kind of service Airtel go gango about when they cannot even resolve simple issue. Would request strict action against them..one reference number provided by them is 24424280..there are many more reference number which can be provided on request.
    I had a broadband connection (my account No.[protected] and requested for safe custody on 24 February 2010 and gave request for cancellation of the connection on 26 April 2010. There were no dues from my side to Airtel. (I have all the bills and receipts ever since I took the broadband connection). However on 11th october while I was travelling, I received a call from a Lawyer Sadhana Koushik (Mobile No. [protected]) as well Mr. Rajvir Singh from Tis Hazari Court (Mobile No. [protected]) from Delhi to immediately pay airtel Rs. 60,000/- in their nearest office or else be prepared to get arrested and we are sending papers to Secunderabad Court.
    Ever since the above episode, I tried calling airtel(Nodal officers, appelate authority through their telephone Nos.[protected] and[protected] but gets no response and could not get connectivity to the so called officials who are supposed to be available for clarifications.
    I would also like to highlight here that there are numerous e-mail correspondence on this and none of them are able to give me a satisfactory reply.

    I hope atleast through this forum airtel will be able to sort my issues at the earliest and will allow me to live peacefully. I has undergone bypass surgery and this agony created by airtel is causing me severe depression and sleepless nights.

    Airtel Broadband — force to change current plan

    i have use airtel broadband service at 128 kbps unlimited speed in last 1 year ,but now airtel reduce my speed 128 kbps (avg 50 kb/s)download speed to 8 kb/ps download speed ,reveral time i call for customar care but they are not respose please register my complant and please solve.also some executive call me and force to change my plan 606 rs per month to 799 rs per month for better speed .please solve my problem

    AirTel — harrassment by airtel

    Several complaints on Airtel Broadband.

    Airtel representatives do not take note of all requests.
    Reference numbers were issued only for change in plan but not for disconnection.
    Paper Bills suddenly changed to e-bill without my consent ( and sent to wrong id inspite of repeated corrections).
    Aitel was to revert with clarification of bills( bills more than Rs300 of the agreed on plan per month ). But since they did not get back on time i am billed for two extra months. The reason their executives have not taken down my cancellation request. Then i have to pay for an additional month as Airtel needs 7 working days to cut the connection.
    And while i wait for them to revert recovery agents harrass me every day. Issue notices. Threaten to take me to Lok Adalat!
    What does Airtel take us customers for. Can we not be treated better? Would appreciate help to get this attitude of airtel stopped.

    I am a Airtel Broadband subscriber.My account number 13958747 and phone number is 45612789.

    I made several calls to your customer care number since December 2010 for disconnecting my connection.

    But till date my connection is not disconnected and you are adding bill month on month whereas I am not using it any more

    On calling airtel broadbandcall centre on 6 Dec 2010 ,call id 1303295.I was told that my rental is stopped and connection would be disconnected.
    On calling airtel broadband call centre on13 Dec 2010,call id[protected].I was told that I would get the full & final bill and someone will come to my house from airtel for further formalities on disconnecting.
    On calling airtel broadband call centre on 06 Jan 2011,call id[protected].I was told that my request of disconnecting is under process and I would not be billed further.

    My grievance here is that neither till date my connection has not been disconnected nor my bill genration/rental has stopped.
    Till date the same has compounded to Rs 3044.

    Why should I pay for not using it since 6 Dec 2010 when I was assured that my rental has been stopped?

    AirTel — Incorrect bill issue

    My name is Srivatsa MR, and I am a resident of Bangalore. My mobile number is [protected]
    I have been facing problems regarding billing and payment from Airtel.
    Airtel has been regularly calling and sending me sms and email reminders to make a bill payment. However, I have repeatedly pointed out to them that the amount mentioned in the bill (Rs. 1424) is different from the amount they have asked me (Rs. 1774).
    The problem is that the bill they have issued does not have full details. How can I pay without first receiving a bill that has all details of total amount to be paid?
    I have already expressed my readiness to pay if the correct bill amount is furnished.
    I have repeatedly asked them to understand this problem, but they have made NO efforts to do so.
    Further, they stopped outgoing calls and sms from my number yesterday (June 13, 2011), which has severely affected my freedom to conduct my professional duties in a normal manner.
    Despite my repeated request to them to call me and talk to me, there has been no such effort.
    Airtel must apologize for causing trouble and inconvenience to me and for harassing me with payment demands. Further, adequate compensation should be considered for cutting off normal services to my number, which adversely affected my freedom to do my work.

    I am sorry to inform you that absolutely nothing has been done by Airtel to resolve this issue and make me feel that I am really a valued customer.
    The only thing I have received over email is a standard apology mail.

    Do you have any idea what is the extent of trouble and loss I have had to go through because Airtel suspended my outgoing services WITHOUT prior notice? And all this due to NO fault of mine!
    It was Airtel that first issued a wrong bill, which prevented me from making payment.

    And again today (June 21st), outgoing services to my number have AGAIN been suspended. Again, this has been done for no reason, and without any prior notice.

    The only thing that Airtel offered to me was a waiver of late payment charges, which I wasnt supposed to pay anyway because the whole fault lay with Airtel.
    Then, there was no effort from your side to even find out if I was satisfied with your half-hearted effort to make amends.

    And without confirming all this, you have again suspended outgoing services to my number.

    So, right now, I can only receive calls and smses.

    On what basis are you telling me that my concern dated 14th June 2011 has been resolved?
    I refuse to accept that it has been resolved.

    AirTel — Airtel broadband-wrong bill and harrassment

    Dear sir/Ma'am,

    This is with respect to the broadband connection which we had taken from airtel in the end of march.

    Account no. 16442325

    Starting: 23rd march 2011

    Plan requested for : Unlimited

    The plan given was: impatience 799 with 2mbps of speed, and free dsl limit of 5gb - stating that there is not much difference in download limit, but speed was much better with the Impatience and that for our requirement this plan was ideal.

    And the airtel representative helping me said that this plan was enough for daily 1-2 hours of internet browsing not involving regular downloads and we could always switch to unlimited plan but speed was not good in unlimited plan, taking an advance rental of rs.799 from us.
    When we asked for a receipt for the modem they said it is not issued and they refused to give any receipt. Later I found that airtel is issuing illegal modems!

    for the first 15 days of normal usage (1 hour daily of checking mails and social networking websites) they sent a bill of rs.4802! also the speed was extremely poor! when we asked them to justify the bill they said that even if you check mails it takes up to 2 gb per day! we are not technical people and trust the representative to give the right information. When we asked the representative about the ideal plan he should have told us that even mails use a lot o[censored]nits instead he misguided us.

    Also they never issued us a detailed bill in time so we could verify this.

    Then we immediately put in a request for change in plan and opted for an unlimited plan. They assured us the change will be done asap. We continue to use our internet assured that now no fraud can happen. At the end of the billing cycle they sent a bill of rs. 10,463! stating the previous balance and current month's usage. When we checked on the plan it had still not been changed!

    also they disconnected our connection without a proper resolution. We kept trying to get help to resolve it but to no avail. How do we as consumers prove that the airtel people are issuing escalated bills? how do we prove we DID not use as many units as quoted in the bill. While we are not very adept at telecom technology, basic knowledge refuses to believe that checking e-mails and social networking can cost so much! if that were the case the telecom companies would never make profits with unlimited plans, public browsing cafes would not be so cheap!

    to add to this different people from the airtel department started harrassing us without giving a proper resolution. Recently one man tried to force himself inside our house, and started threatening us over the phone.

    We have no problems in paying the correct amount if it is just and proper resolution is given.

    Telecom companies are misusing the system and also resorting to illegal means.

    This company issued a modem to us with no registration papers, receipt whatsoever!

    please help us in resolving this as airtel people have resorted to harrassment.

    Bharti Airtel — Mental Harrassment

    Need to file a consumer case against Airtel Broadband.

    In April 2011, we shifted from BTM to HSR layout. We lodged a request to transfer the land line and broadband connection to our new location, however we did not receive any communication from them for next 3 weeks. Then we called on April 30th and requested them to cancel the connection and they said it will be done within 2 working days. We never got any call from Airtel customer care or anybody else after that. In the month of May we started receiving calls that we have not paid the bill for the month of April and we have an outstanding amount. We went to Airtel office in Bannerghatta road and lodged the complain there once again. We got the same reply that this will be done in 2 working days and will be communicated to us, but we did not get any communication on it.

    Last Month we have received a legal notice saying that we have not paid the bill from April’11 to till date. After this notice we again visited Bannarghatta Road Airtel office , they asked us to lodge a complaint and we did that. But once again we have received a Airtel Bill yesterday stating that we have an outstanding amount of Rs 3,000 approx in our account. The bill clearly states that the outstanding amount is for the month of April 2011 to Nov 2011.

    We wrote emails at Airtel customer office but received no response. Please help.

    Hi, I had asked Airtel to disconnect the connection on 11th Oct 2012 because I was not in India since 11th October 2012 and I'd sent email for discontinuation on the same date to [protected]@airtel.in. I did not got any mail failure when I sent the email hence I assumed the email was correct and also I was using [protected]@airtel.in for all communications till then.

    I only realized your email got changed (Please note I was never intimated of the change anytime) when I sent another email on 22nd December 2012 to [protected]@airtel.in asking for clarification as to why the bills are generated when I already sent email for discontinuation on 11th October itself from my email Id (which is registered in my account profile) rahul.[protected]@yahoo.com.

    From that period I'm constantly getting reminder emails and despite of asking to call me to clarify/settle the issue no one has called and for every reminder email I have sent my clarification each time.

    Recently I got another email of threating me to take legal action against me. I'm asked to pay for the services I never used and for which I contacted Airtel to disconnect.

    I would really appreciate if I could receive some assistance in taking this complaint forward and stopping such harassment from happening in future.

      prepaid sim with one year validity — false commitment

      I purchased a prepaid reliance sim from a reliance shop named as AB INFO location Jamnagar (Gujarat) land mark of shops location is near townhall circle.They commited about the validity of sim is for one year and payment i maid to them was Rs 2000.they said this is a reliance india scheem and Ril to Ril free calling for one year STD as well as Local.but after 45 days it ends and when i apporached the same shop for help they just refused he extend any helping hand.then i approached reliance web world they took a written complaint from me and when i asked for recipt of my complaint then said sir we will call you.its about three months and i am still waiting for their call.i came to know about this helpline and this is the last initiate i am adopting kindly do something so that in future no one to be cheated by that kind of sellers.mob no [protected].

      your customer care executive Mr. Gagan .As per talks(on Dealer helpline No. 345) with this particular fellow on 3:35 pm on 21/11/2009 he was telling to me that if you listened to Miss Sonia(Aapke main account mein 21/= hone chahiye ) and (to kya aap behre ho chuke hain aapko suninaee nahin deta) you are deaf or youare not listened to talks with Miss Sonia .This were the talks which was done by my lapu number [protected] on 21/11/2009 because I was not able to do a particular recharge of full talk time of Rs.444/- and on the customer no. [protected] it was was not showing tariff by dialing *131# that curretly no special tariff is active on your mobile.Then as a retailer how can i predict the nature and kind of tariff without asking by dialling 345.An immediate action should be taken against this fellow and keep your server updated regarding 369 when we are doing a message to find a particular denomination of a top-up,recharge and tariffs to that we can help your customer with ease.

      This is Prashant Khemariya costomer of Airlet prepaid sim ([protected]) i have recived 5-10 sms from costomer care for special recharge information on between 18th march-20th march -2010 and further recieved a call from costomer care on 20 th march 2010 at 12:50 Pm, that mean was if i rechahe my mob no. with 55 Rs. right now, then get 45 Rs. and within 48 hrs i will recieve remaining 5 Rs and my call rate will be 50/min for all local and std mob.so i have recharged my mob with 55 on 20th march at 12:56 PM.
      But after 48hrs i dont have receive any money or teriff for reduce call rate. When i call to costomer care on 22 march 2010 at 7:00 PM to refound my money and reduced my call rate their was no responce and again call to costomer care and talk with Mr. Anand Raj on 25 march 2010 at 1:38 PM but same problem was there. form 25 march to till now i have calling to costomer care continually for reduce my call rate but nobody is responding me, so kindlly haelp me.

      Hello Sir,
      I got a new airtel prepaid sim a month ago and it was blocked since 19th April 2010 as my proof was not clear. But later after a week I gave the correct proof still its not been activated. I called customer care, they didn respond as expected and I went to the shop where I bought the sim. He didn care for the same. Now I couldn even raise a complaint. My mobile number is [protected]. The shop where I bought is G.N.R Mobiles, Jafferkhanpet. I regret for this poor service ny Airtel.

      I have change my Aircel sim card to Airtel through mobile portability in the month of January 2011 during mobile portability I have submitted all necessary documents to retailer, after few days my sim is converted to Airtel and work properly. But in the month of June ‘2011 my sim is blocked by Airtel Company. While quarry from customer care they have told my documents is not yet received by them due to sim is blocked. Once again on 16/06/2011 I have resubmitted all documents but till date my sim is not work. My account balance as on date is rs. 98.28 With the validity up to 11/12/2013. My mobile No is [protected] kindly take suitable action to start the no due to I have facing so many problem.
      I have totally disagreed with the reply by you. I have convert one more sim from reliance to airtel while calling with other airtel sim costumer care not reply suitably and disconnect the phone when I trying to call again customer care block the number, so that I enable to raise my problem. I have ask a question why the sim started by the company during mobile portability when customer has not submitted the documents.

      ii would once again like to draw the attention of all readers, to the atrocity being committed by airtel with impunity.I was the owner of No[protected].i had recharged my no.on 15/4/13 and on the 21st of april 2013, .without ANY PRIOR INTIMATION my number was disconnected by airtel even though it had adequate balance.I called airtel representative and made a complaint.He said he would call me back in 4 hrs, but of course as expected this was just as false as the company.In response to my emails i was told that the phone was disconnected as per TRAI regulations and in the interest of National security .-due to verification failure.I have been using this no for over a year and i was abroad for 2months and returned and i had purchased this sim a year ago after complying with all verifications.so where is the question of verification failure.
      My point is that if airtel wants to deactivate a no.should it not give adequate time to its user to produce the necessary papers.Can they disconnect anyone s phone as and when they like and later take shelter under the umbrella of national security.

      Secondly, should they not return the balance remaining in the account if they have disconnected a phone without rhyme or reason.

      Airtel would be making crores of rupees just by doing this, as no one wants to take on a big gun like airtel .
      would anyone be brave enough to take this on, so that airtel does not cheat the common man with impunity.

        Hello,

        I'm a customer of Airel since long time and recently got Airtel Digital TV (HD) from Airtel. Since the day I bought, I had problems and nothing else.

        The customer service number,[protected] doesnt respond properly. Since 3 days, I'm trying to call them and log a complaint as my digital TV is not working due to bad weather. Finally a complaint was registered yesterday (11th May 2013) and i was told that it'll be resolved by 12th May morning 10 AM but until now it is not resolved.

        I got a call from some service engineer who doesn't know the route to my place. He is a localite and doesn't even know the landmark i was mentioning. Then he dropped the call on my face saying he can't come today, will see later. Is this the way your service engineer behave?

        I had local connection before (Hathway) but never had complaints and if any glitches, were promptly addressed. I went for Airtel as I heard good feedback on service and also for HD quality. But now I'm disappointed and the service sucks.

        Airtel — Worst experience on the Customer service provided by Airtel

        I am fed up with the service provided by the Airtel. I have been played like a football and still no resolution. My billed amount on the mobile services and datacard services was an error. To get this corrected, I have made not less than 10 calls to the customer care executives. Very sad to say that each time I get a new customer care executive and each one of them have given me different numbers and email ids to launch the complaint.

        Utter nonsense service with no solution. I am totally completely frustrated but the executives are simply least bothered, with no knowledge in what they are doing.

        It is a very sad state that even the floor head and supervisors have only basic informations of giving new numbers and email ids to launch the complaint. nobody ever has any solutions to provide except to escape from the call by passing it to another number.

        Airtel — In expereinced Customer Service

        Hi,

        I have raised a request on March 3rd saying that I need a hard copy of my airtel 6 months payment statement. Service request no. 27009357 dated 03/03/2009. But they have send a soft copy to my mailid on 08/03/2009. Unfortunately I was out of country and unable to reach airtel so I replied them back asking for hard copy for which they have not replied me back. I was back on 15th March and called customer care at around 18:00:00 on 15/03/2009. The representative said to me that the request i raised was for soft copy and not hard copy, when I insisted him to take out the audio conversation he directed me to his manager by Name Syed. After checking my request Syed agreed that i have requested for hard copy and not a soft copy and he was so sorry from there end and will send me the hard copy again. But my last date for submission was 16th March, Therefore, I requested him to send in a mail to my official office ID and my finance team saying that I have made the payments and due to some misunderstanding they delayed to send the hard copy. So I can take a grace period of 3 days in office and he agreed took all the mail id and said it will be done by 16/03/2009 6:00 pm. I called up customer care again on 16/03/2009 5:00 pm and Chandrika(representative) has agreed that they are going to send the mail in about 1 or 2 hours. I called again at 6:30 pm and by name Nitin as lifted the call and redirected it to Azharuddin.

        This person was a Floar Manager and he says that it will not be possible to send in a mail now and they will send the hard copy only, when I said how come Syed can promise of doing so, he replied saying that talk to him only, he is busy and will call you in another 4 hours. What should I do by sitting for 4 hours in office. Also he said that my intial request was for soft copy and not hard copy. See The Airtel Customer care are changing there own words and there promises, because of this false promises I am loosing 8000 rs. Who will bare this? I Can ago to any court to prove that It was the mistake done by airtel people and I will stop paying the money until my 8000 is recovered.

        I am not able to view any channel even also paid channel.If any body is going for digital tv never go
        for airtel products.It is all my personal experience.If number one award has to be given for horible
        customer service i think airtel will be at number one.

        This is regarding the poor customer prepaid card service provided by Airtel.
        I have purchased and activated the GPRS Unlimited plan (RS 98).I have activated the GPRS service but was not able to use the internet on my Blackberry curve 8310.I had sent the message "MO" to get the GPRS Settings.The message i recieved by Airtel after that "DEAR CUSTOMER ,YOUR HANDSET SUPPORTS AIRTEL LIVE, MMS ,GPRS.For settings please call 12118".First of all this 12118 never get connected.Whenever i dial 12118,it get connected to 121.When i go through 121 and talk to the technical cutomer executive of GPRS ,he again say to connect to 12118 .What a horrible thing? I again called up to get the assistance but than the executive has provided me the wrong number "7070" .This number doesn't exist.I also tried one more number that is [protected] which is for technical Blackberry services assistance but that no. is only for the post paid services.I explained everything to the customer executives but again they give me all that information.I took this card only for using the GPRS on my BLACKBERRY CURVE 8310.Almost 10 times i have tried and called. By seeing the behaviour and the poor services of the AIRTEL ,I believe in future i will not be considering any products from the Airtel.

        Please think twice before you buy airtel digital tv. Good offeres are available but after sale there is no service to the customer since service part is completely outsourced. Their engineers are updating the resulution without even visiting customer place. Every time you call customer care you will lost your patience.No one will pick the line to respond. I even approached their nodal officer to sort out the issue, nodal team is very supportive but service department team is so smart to update fake informations like address not found, closed the issue over the phone, customer not available... etc... You will get service request number on sms with location FPRs contact number which is useless. not picking the line or not even responding to the text

        AirTel — Horrible customer service

        My airtel DTH tv is not working. I had called the customer care several times and they had mentioned that they would be sending someone to my house to check. 12 days havealready passed by, and no one is bothered to rectify our problem.
        this is a horrible experience. Airtel is offering horrible services it seems and is not bothered about customer satisfaction. We are just wasting our money on something which doesnt work. Please let me know if you can do something about this problem or not and send someone to check the problem

        I am having hell lot of problems with customer care and also with airtel providers as such... They are a pain in the neck... I did not opt for any hello tune service, but i had two times deducted with the amount. And also the sms fecility is bad... Even for a local sms.. They charge rupees two.. This has happned number of times... When i try to contact the customer care guys... They listen to everything and later disconnect the call.. And when i exceed three times to reach and talk to them... All i get to know is ".. To know ur balance, press *123*8#".. What a ridiculout service it is. I want my money to be credited in my accouint and also know why u people do such things... Also tell me about the sms thing... If i am not getting my answer, i have to take action against you guys, i have to complaint to the customer complaint cell... I am very serious on this matter. Talk to me and resolve this matter asap.

        AirTel — Horrible Customer Care Service

        Whenever i call to file a complaint the customer care guy will tell me that the complaint cannot be filed since the system is under upgradation. This has happened 2 times in the last 3 days when i called to lodge a complaint. Just now, five minutes back, also i called and was informed that the system is under upgradation. I believe that this is just a cheap and pathetic attempt by the customer care and by the company to avoid noting the complaints. If not i would like to know what upgradations happen so often on Airtel that bars only complaints to be filed for 2 Hours. if this is the amount of time that you will take each day to upgrade may be you should just drop the complaint center or better to just shut down the complany itself since i dont think you can support your customers.
        The way that you work is get the complaint out from here and then do nothing. Hence whatever details you require, please ask here and i will answer.

          When i have Checked my Mobile airtel prepaid balance on dated on 11 may 2013 at 6 am that time i am seen that balance deducted my mobile no ([protected]), And I am very surprised to see that there are three international SMSs are showing from my number to "[protected]" on dated 11/05/2013 at around 02:12 AM. On the day.


          I speak with Customer care executive and he refuse to support me as he saying the sms has been sent from my mobile number only, which actually was not.

          It is very irritating that Airtel is also now on the wrong track for DEDUCTION OF MOBILE PREPAID BALANCE and unsupported customer care.

          I have made EC recharge on 25-Sep-2010 but the message came as recharge not successful. I have approached Airtel Customer Relationship Center Parry's. They asked me to recharge by scratch Card, I did that still the message is same. again i have approached the Airtel Customer Relationship Center Parry's.           I made a call asper the officer instruction, on the call on that day itself (25-Sep-2010) the customer service officer confirmed that they registered my Complaint and the same will be rectified with in 28-Sep-2010,

          27-Sep-2010 a gentlemen called me for the registered complaint, and he asking the details again and he given the TAT time for next 24hrs, after his call Airtel sent a SMS stating that we have replied on your query, which not rectified.

          I sent email to [protected]@airtelindia.com to know the status, they send a acknowledgment mail and a customer care people calling me and providing the 24hrs TAT time after that a SMS came to my mobile stating that we have replied on your query.

          This is what happening whenever I sent email to the Airtel. Till the date (06-Oct-2010) the same is not rectified.

          I expect your suggestion on this or expect your instruction to file the case against Airtel

            complaints towards Air tel customer care-
            1. they give you an automated choice of English or Hindi. even if you press 'English' the officer who picks up talks in Hindi. They understand almost nothing and is very frustrating to converse with. Air tel obviously is least bothered to train their people to talk and handle their customers.
            2. every time one gets through to an officer after waiting online for 7 mins, the line gets cut half way through the conversation and obviously Air tel has no system and no interest to call back. Air tel does not really care about us, Sunil Mittal just wants money.
            3. they charge 50p from their customers! How miserly can you get Mr. Mittal???

              I B.R.N Rao from Hyderabad using Airtel Postpaid connection since August-2012 on-words ,last month i have not paid the bill as i am not satisfied with the services provided for me ,your customer care people called me about the payment ,I told them that i will pay the bill once you resolving my issue , they also disconnected my incoming and outgoing services also now they are calling to all of my dialed numbers about my payment without intimating me.They all are calling me and telling that the customer care people of airtel are speaking volgurly regarding the payment .WHO ARE THOSE PEOPLE TO TRACT MY OUTGOING CALLS?DO THEY HAVE ANY RIGHT TO TRACK MY O/G LIST ? they are calling from [protected] and speaking very rudly with ladies also she is also a lady how can she speak the slum language with your customers .if i pay the money now then they will take those words back again?i am requesting u to take seviour action on her else I will take up the challenge to court and file defamation case against her and also against organisation.

                  This is to inform you that as per my previous complaint on the less speed internet i have not got any feedback to be positive and the problem stills prevails.I have just received an call from the Airtel team asking me to verify the speed for which i have reported its the same as to 1-2 kbps and after that i havent received any proper feedback.


                  As per my concern Airtel is just killing time asking me to wait for a week or 3 days and so.If it continues this way the validity of my internet pack shall soon be over and i shall be keeping on expecting things this way.


                  I would be helpful if they arent able to solve the problem than i want my money refunded so that i can shift to some different network and look for the benefits of internet pack.

                  i would be very thankful if you take a note of my problem serious as i am in the middle of my project to be submitted on 18th of May and m half my way,as the speed of the net is low i am facing a lot of problem.Please take the necessary actions possible or else suggest me some legal terms to get them through.

                  This is my fourth time perhaps that i am forwarding a complaint for the afore said speed not provided by the Airtel on Recharge of Rs 149 2g data pack according to which there are ought to give speed after 2gb completion upto 40kbps but i am still getting the speed of 5-6kbps sometimes and most of the time 1-3 kbps.I am tired of making complaints on this website I just wanna know if the company is cheating us on this respect without giving us the benefit for the paid charge this is really an offense.

                  Please take a note of the fact seriously and help me get a solution to the problem and another problem is I am not able to contact the cuctomer care helpline 198 from the day I have taken this sim card for which I am neiither able to make any complaints when necessary.

                    This is to inform that for last 3 months i am calling 121 customer service and everytime new person comes and taking my complaints. Most worst points everytime they give new ref number. I Never subscribed clasifed ads for job still i am getting sms from airtel and they deducting money from my account. it shows airtel recurited road side people in their call centre. still i am getting sms inspite of calling 121. It proves that Airtel providing poor service to customer.
                    I am regularly receiving SMS from Konnections, every morning. This is very frustating, as I have not approached to them, still they are sending me SMSes. Kindly take a strict action against them
                    I would really appreciate if a legal notice can be sent to them, as this is creating a mental harassment day by day.

                    I'm also recieving the same sms 's everyday, and that too 3 -4 times.

                    I totallly agree with this, and i am really frustrated by their repeated messages. everyday on an average i recieve 3-4 messages from konnections and its getting on my nerves now.I tried to find their number but could not. lets do something that these annoying messages can be stopped. a legal notice should definitely be sent to them. they have no rights to disturb people all day long.

                      Since then I am facing following problems.

                      Zero network in Bedrooms except living room
                      No matter it is incoming or outgoing, the call gets disconnected several times
                      Sometimes when somebody calling me, had diifferent experiences like - 1. MY MOBILE NUMBER IS NOT IN USE, 2. SWITCHED OFF, 3.IT IS RINGING, but no call to me.
                      I have raised complainst twice in the last 7 months and nothing was done, then I have decided to change the service provider.

                      I have called up airtel customer care for Unique porting Number (195364) with expiry date on 20th August 2011, since then i got 4 calls from airtel customer care asking for reasons for porting. Everytime I tell them the same story and requested for immediate porting. I have put request at Vodafone office - Manpada -thane west on 13th August 2011 and submitted all required documents.

                      Vodafone representative said I can use new SIM from 22nd august 2011 onwards, today morning(23rd August 2011) when I have checked and found that Vodafone SIM is still inactive.

                      Today I got another call from Airtel customer care representative asking why I am shifting to another service provider, when I told everything and questioned him why so many people are calling again and again and asking the same question. Is Airtel system is not good enough to record customer version once, Do airtel thinks we don't have any work except answering same old questions. And the Airtel customer care representative rasies as complaint and request to wait for maximum 4 hrs to get the issue resolved and incase not satisfed with the services then can go for porting. My request is treated as "Complaint" and due date provided by representative is 29th august 2011.

                      My question to AIRTEL when i have raised request for porting, why airtel guys treating as complaint and why nothing was done when i have raised as compliant before porting request. And why Airtel customer care representative calls me again and again and why new complaint with new due date is logged in the system and WHAT HAPPEN TO MY PORTING REQUEST ?

                      I called Vodafone customer care representative, they don't have any information on the same, despite I have submitted all the documents on 13th august 2011 and paid more than Rs.300 for registration and porting purpose and Why we have to call any customer care prepresentative for status updates and explain entire story and still no information is provided.

                      Airtel/ Vodafone- please have a system to update us through SMS on the request made.

                      Once for all, I am telling Airtel, please complete all formalties required for porting. I don't want any complaints to raised now.

                      Vodafone guys please update me on porting status, when I can use New SIM card ?

                        I have done MNP from vodafone to Airtel and i have been a POST PAID customer of Airtel for 1.5 years. I made a request for Post paid to Prepaid conversion on 29th Dec 2012, as they promised me that conversion will happen within 7day or max 10 days but still i am struggling to activate my mobile number. I have visited Airtel Relationship Center (near parrys corner) many times and i have submitted proof many times as they requested. After that they will inform me on alternate number that my number has been activated, but i couldn't receive signal. When i asked about not receiving signal, again they asked me to submit id proof. so it keep on going like this since from 5 months.

                        So i am one among the most suffered customers of Airtel. As am a freelance software developer, i have lost my business contacts during delay in my mobile number activation.

                        Still i hoping that Airtel will take into consideration and resolve my issue ASAP.

                          I am Mangesh J. Kahane from Pune. I am using Airtel network for more than 3 years But on 8 th of May in after suddenly my mobile with number [protected] with Sim no.[protected] HLR-2 stopped working and showed message that "SIM CARD REGISTRATION FAILED" and in evening when i called on that number from other number i.e [protected] Some person called satish mule from solapur picked the call and told me that he was given the same number i.e [protected] by airtel ARC centre named Tulsi electronics at solapur.
                          Next Day when I went to ARC centre near my place at shree communication at vaiduwadi they gave me new Sim card of number[protected] H-2 for same number i.e [protected] and checked the details of my number that was registered on my name itself But still it was with other person at solapur. But the Sim given by them got activated but showed different number.
                          Please consider my Problem and take necessary action about this case.Its really unbelievable that the number stops working suddenly and is transferred to someone else.

                          AirTel — Transfer of SIM

                          Since couple of Months i have been irritated with airtel customer care people calling me.
                          As i wanted to transfer the number to one of colleagues name, it took 15 days for me to convince them as he is NRI, Native of AP.
                          after transferring successfully, after six months they started calling, as the number has been switched off, The verification is Poor,
                          At the time of submission i have submitted concerned person landline number, they didnt update database,

                          they are good at troubling and irritating, , i have been asked same question for 30 times in a month and giving alternate contact of the person for all the time.

                          i m pissed offfffffffffffff

                          Airtel — no is transfer to other without intimation

                          I am having mobile no [protected] since year 2005. last few days i was not operated this mobile card. again when i had credited Rs.50/- on outlet of airtel in same card, but it was not working , after checking of the same it was informed me that this no is transfer to some one else.Now this is really very socking to me. I am using this card since last 5 years. and now without any intimation company has alloted this no to some one else and i have lost Rs.50/- what to do now ?

                          I am Residing at Virar east Chandarnsar(Maharshtra) and am using airtel sim - [protected] since 2007. Now days when airtel started 4G they are not able to give good internet service and voice call service to coustomer.
                          Airtel 4G users facing offenly this problem, as well as many airtel users are intend to port thier no to other company (vodafone, reliance, idea) due to this issue.

                            This is to bring to the concerned notice that we have experienced pathetic service from Airtel DTH even before the conncetion is set up.We have applied for new Airtel DTH connection on 06/05/2013 over the tele marketing call. The executive name is Amit Tiwari(Customer care number # [protected]), the package we opted is South Value and we paid 6 months subscription worth of Rs 4,190(this includes the HD set top box + 6 months subscription). The payment is done via call and mode of payment is Credit Card. The booking ID # 210086, TXN ID #[protected] The executive confirmed us over the call that the installation would be completed with in 48 hours from the payment time. There was no call from the Airtel service until 8th May evening and have made several calls to Customer care and was shocked to understand that they have never created new customer account for the connection, the executives couldn’t even very the details with the given booking & transaction ID) they have provided the local area sales manager number (Vijay) we have contacted him however he is helpless since there is no account details available, he promised that the installation would be completed by next day 9th May morning. We have again called on 9th may morning however there is no account created, they said account will created by afternoon and installation would be completed by end of the day. Finally during afternoon we have received an SMS on the number given that the account is created (Customer ID # [protected]) with the value recharge of Rs 2,600. We have called the customer care again to understand what is this recharge value consists of, for which there is no answer from the executive and they are not sure what is this value for. The concern is this amount is different from what we have paid we are unsure whether they are activating the requested package or activated a random package available. The executive over the call was rude and was not ready to provide any details. He was asking to wait for another 24hrs to find out what the Rs 2,600 recharge value is. Hence we decided not to go any further we requested to cancel the new connection request and pay the money back, for which the turn around time is 7 to 10 working days. The shocking part is the address details mentioned in the account created is incorrect, he is not ready to update the address correctly as well.
                            We are fed up following up with the customer care and called the Nodal Officer number for Channai region[protected], a person has attended the call we have explained the issue to him, he request us to be on line for few minutes, the waiting period went up to 25 mins however no response and finally the call got auto dropped.on 10/05/2013 when we made the call to customer care to find out the status again they said that the payment was only made on Thursday and as per thier records the first call from our end was only made on Thursday, we really had no clue what they talking about.The response is annoying and very frustrating to us. They said that it will 24hrs time for providing any information relating to this payment details.
                            This is really frustrating to us, we have never faced this kind of ill treated customer service and never expected from Airtel.
                            We request for an early action in this regard.

                            Airtel DTH — Pathetic Customer Care Services

                            On date[protected] I have register complaint ( No.’s 8326757, 8508022, 8527609, 8568159 ) of Video problem in airtel customer care, they have suggested that there engineers will come and rectify the problem, around 2:30 pm yesterday I received a call mentioning that the engineer will arrive and rectify the problem at around 4:00Pm. After a long wait I again called up the customer care and one of agents assured me that the engineers will visit before 6:30Pm on the same day. It’s very unfortunate and frustrating that even after several calls yesterday and even today while typing this mail the service level of Airtel has drastically come down. I have been assured yesterday by Mr. Ravi soni who seems to be supervisor (I have my doubts) that yes the problem will be resolved by 8:00 Pm but no success. If this is the commitment of team leader than I can very well judge the quality of subordinates Airtel has. Another fresh day begins, no calls, no updates from Airtel team, again tried to reach as I am customer and I need to suffer because I have installed “Airtel DTH “. The updates are more interesting than yesterday. You would be happy and feel proud to listen. The call attended Mr. Yogesh told me that sir I have now register your fresh complain today and it will be resolved by tomorrow, WOW amazing customer service from a company like Airtel. I called up again and this my seventh call today, another customer care executive Dinesh have no idea about the complaint he fwd my call to his supervisor again by keeping me on hold for 15 minutes. Then Mr .Lokender had spoken and kept me hold for 50 minutes, and had given all excuses that the engineers who is suppose to visit for the resolution is not reachable since yesterday and he aligned a different engineer who will visit today at before 7:00Pm. I want to ask a simple question a big company like airtel is only have 2 engineers? What is the SLA for service repair? Why a customer should suffer and pay 100Rs. Instead Airtel should pay to their customer for being brand loyal instead of charging from them. Airtel has harassed my since last 2 days with false commitments. So I am looking forward to take strict action against airtel service in consumer court by harassing their customer and taking undue advantage from them will send this to as many as social media forum to bring to the notice of common man that they should never ever go with Airtel DTH services, its even pathetic than worse.
                            Airtel DTH Customer Service is the Worst experience I have ever had, that too it was unfortunate that i had to deal with them thrice for 3 different requests.
                            I can never imagine a customer service to be as WORST as AIRTEL.

                            Airtel management please wake up and learn the ABCs of customer service (actually only A's is more than enough to expect from you) first yourself and then train your customer service reps (currently who seem to be undoubtedly illiterates: language wise / technical knowledge / issues handling wise).
                            It's just not enough to have nodal centers, websites, customer service wings, please understand that the customer-service unit is just present as an entity with no life. I suggest any one in the management to raise a service request and experience it themselves, instead of me trying to explain

                            Rakesh, Thank you for acknowledging my complaint. Finally the set up box was installed at my residence at noon time and the technical person has asked us to keep the set up box on ON mode for 2 hours for activating the channels. We have the set up box on until evening 7pm, I was unaware that there is another surprise is awaiting for me when I return home. I have switched on the TV and realised that there are no channels and the on screen message is "Your account is SUSPENDED due to negative balance". I really do not have any idea what this message is for, since I paid money for 6 months and my account activated confirmation message said Rs2, 600 recharge then how the account has gone into negative with out even using. I called the area manager for assistance since I do not have any more patience left in me to call your customer care since they are absolutely GOOD FOR NOTHING. THEY ARE THE MOST WORST service team I have ever seen. Even if I call them for assistance I can not take any more non sense thing which they say, it's so painful to listen to them so I prefer not to call them.
                            The area manager with the support of the technical assistance found that the account is not activated or some discrepancy existing there. He has given assurance that the channel would be available with in an hour time since he is going to write email to the support team.
                            I running out of words to rate your customer care support efficiency. As such I conclude here for your further perusal of this issue.

                              I received a call from this number ([protected]) on Tuesday -May-7-2013 at 12:07pm IST.

                              Since I was in a meeting I did not take the call. Later I tried to return the call it did not ring. Today May-10-2013 when I tried it rang but no one answered the call.
                              Later I talked to my colleague and I found out that this is from Pakistan and he asked me to register this complaint.

                                This is regarding the complaint 32515200 that I have raised for the above given FixedLine. The complaint which I have raised is regarding the Internet not working and even Landline was not getting dial tone.

                                I have raised the request on May 9th 2013 at 10:21 AM and the resolution time that is given is May 9th 2013 by 2:20 PM. I have attached the screenshot of the message that I have received and also the Complaint details from Airtel Self Serv web site.

                                I have not got any call or no technical executive has visited my place to verify the issue during the said time.

                                I called back Customer Care on 10th May 2013 at 3:30AM and gave the Complaint number to get the status but I hear the problem description as completely different. It is no where related to what I have given. I have raised complaint for Internet & Landline not working and even in the web site I can see that it is given under category "Network & Connectivity Related" but the complaint description what I heard from the customer care representative was regarding some UserID & Password issue and not able to login which is totally different.

                                I have been facing the internet disconnection problem atleast 3 to 4 times every month and loose atleast 5 to 6 days in a Month with out Internet but still no reduction in the Bill and also the service will be very late.

                                Airtel is one company which charges more for their services than other companies but still Customers select Airtel just for the service. But in the last 1 year I noticed a drastic degradation in the service by Airtel. If a very good reputed company like Airtel can't maintain the proper information regarding the complaint how can we trust the service by this company.

                                I am using this internet for Office purpose and if I come home and can't get internet suddenly Im getting banged by my higher management. Just because of your fault, Im getting delayed and suffered. If the bill is paid 1 day late you guys know to deduct extra charge, but don't you know that the service has to be provided as per the given time??? So what charge should I charge to Airtel now for not maintaining the records properly and not fixing the issue in time???

                                Bharti Airtel Service — But No Proper Service

                                Respected Sir,

                                I visit Airtel Office in Residency Road (Opp to Nagarajun Hotel) to activate data card connection. They told to provide the service with in 24 Hours.
                                Before paying the amount they will assure that they are giving good service but after we pay the amount they will talk in different way and they won't activate the data service and giving the answer you didn't provide the necessary document.
                                I had a question what the hell these executive is doing before taking the document. There is no way of taking connection if they do like that.

                                  I had recharged with Rs.200 for my Airtel money account number. But it stated that the transaction is failure and amount will be recredited in 5-7 working days.

                                  But its more than 45 days now. No recredit has been given. Also I lodged a complaint with CC. But still there are also unable to trace and do the credit.

                                    I have recently moved to Banglore and purchased a new LED TV. Since I heard Airtel is good company I choose to go with Airtel for digital TV. I went online www.airtel.in and went to digital TV section where you can submit your cell no# so that can give you call. As soon I submit my call they instantly called me and asked me to pay Rs.1840 so connection can be establised in 24 Hours. Its been 72 hours and no one yet contacted me. Since last two days I called atleast 20 times but everytime customer care executive takes my info and she/he tells me someone will get back to me in 30 minutes. No one calls back. This is absoluty pathetic. How the hell you guys are running business? Close your shop and do not play with people's money like that. You guys are absolute bizzare. I don't believe why you treat people like that. I trust more to day-to-day labour who will atleast give you service after taking money from you.

                                    They give me this Ref # [protected] and no one wants to check status.

                                    I hope this help to the people who wants to go with Airtel. Me and my wife have Airtel cell connections. I will get rid of them also if they dont provide me service in next 2 days or refund me my money which I earn by working hard.

                                    I am also facing the same problem. I payed for South Value pack for 2000 and 1 yr free.
                                    But after completing the first month, its showing 300 due. I don't understand it and was trying to reach customer service for long time. I got an sms that the service will be disabled by 17th if not paid.
                                    This looks ridiculous and I am frustrated calling the toll free number.
                                    Please help me with this.

                                    Airtel DTH — Airtel HD tv DTH Scam

                                    On February 4th, an Airtel DTH Cable operative has come to our house to familiarize us with the Airtel Cable DTH offers available. He has introduced us to the Airtel HD Dish TV option. He claimed that all one needs is a digital HD Set top box and one would get free access to all the HD channels provided by the airtel. We have asked him to confirm the same on which he said that he was pretty sure and that there would be no extra charge for the HD Channels that are provided. On that condition we have bought the plan.

                                    A day after paying the money he said that now we have to pay about 16 rupees for every channel that we receive. Which means if we receive 20 channels (HD) then we have to pay about 320 apart from the plan that we have opted for (Super South Pack). He accepted that he claimed all HD channels will be free but he said that he was wrong and he will not do anything about it now.

                                    When we asked the operator to take back the plan he rejected saying that nothing can be done as of now. When Pointed out to the problem he said that it was our mistake of not inquiring properly.

                                    I hope that some action would be taken in this matter. I also warn all who are looking forward to take the DTH plans for Airtel and not to fall in the trap of the operatives who visit our homes with fastidious claims.

                                    AirTel — AIRTEL BIG FRAUD

                                    I WAS SHOCKED TO SEE THAT ALMOST 100 RS WAS DEDUCTED AT RS 1 PER DAY JOB ALERTS FRAUDULENTLY ACTIVATED BY AIRTEL ON MY MOBILE [protected].

                                    YESTERDAY I STOPPED THE JOB ALERT SERVICES BECAUSE I NEVER SUBSCRIBED TO IT. NOBODY IN MY FAMILY IS LOOKING FOR JOBS.

                                    NOW THE SERVICE HAS CLOSED BUT I WANT TO GET FULL REFUND OF MY MONEY WHICH IS ABOVE RS 100 FOR THE DAYS THAT AIRTEL FRAUDULENTLY OPERATED THIS SERVICE ON MY NUMBER WITHOUT DISCLOSING TO ME.

                                    PLEASE HELP ME GET OUT OF THIS MESS !!

                                      Hi i am Abhishek([protected]),,,And the reason for the complaint is to let u know how irresponsible and insane the executives of the Airtel Company are..
                                      the issue dates back to the month of December and the issue is still not resolved...The issue is i was promised that the excess bill payed by me in the month of november will be refunded within 60 days from the date of payment(Not sure of the date but it was in the month of november)...i had called the executives more than 32 times i still have some of the call recordings where the executives promised me a date for the issue to be resolved and some even disconnected the calls.i was reached by a airtel executive after posting a complaint in this forum and was again promised refund and a prompt service and also assured me to call back after the issue is raised and the also said that the service request or the complaint number would be provided(Which wasnt done).....the executives name is Ashish Jain and after few days there was no reply or a call from the person to take care of my issue as promised and after again a few days i got a call from a lady executive and said that she needs to get in touch with the finance dept to get my money refunded and agin no calls or any reply from her...i am really depressed by the services provided by the executives and could u please let me know how to raise a complaint in the consumer court....and i would also mention this to airtel that i am an active blogger and i would make sure that this issue could reach more than 5000 people and i can also drag this on to media cause its a huge amount for me (1700 RS) AND HAVE SPENT EXACTLY 112RS AND 50 PAISE FOR GETTING IN TOUCH WITH THE EXECUTIVES AS I AM A STUDENT IM NOT EARNING ANY MONEY AND THIS AMOUNT WOULD HELP ME A LOT.AGAIN MY NUMBER IS [protected] AND PLEASE DO CALL ME BETWEEN 1:10 TO 2 PM OR AFTER 5 PM.....HOPE SOMEONE WILL GET IN TOUCH AS I AM VERY DEPRESSED AND WOULD APPROACH MEADI FOR THE ISSUE TO BE RESOLVED.

                                      AirTel — Refund for excess payment

                                      My mobile number is [protected]. I converted my postpaid connection to prepaid connection last month in Airtel Center in Adyar. I had to pay the outstanding amount when the call and sms discounts were not included. I paid the full amount. They told me i would receive the balance amount (around Rs. 3311) after discounts is calculated through DD within 45 days.
                                      But still I did not receive any DD or calls from them regarding this. I am totally dissatisfied with this and I dont know whether I would be getting my refund.

                                        I bought airtel HD+ setup box and I am given remote control without recording option. When I filed complaint via customer care they gave complaint number but didn't give me remote control and closed ticket .

                                        Airtel Digital TV is full of frauds , I am not sure when I am going to get remote control.
