Yet another complaint against the Best service provider.

I registered my airtel numbers in (https://ebpp.airtelworld.com) portal to pay online bills. Now only one number is reflecting in the portal and im not able to add another number to it.

Why provide a rubbish service and annoy us, rather not to provide.

Airtel — bill not received yet & not able to access portal

I am using airtel mobile connection i had registered for ebill facility but neither i got my bill at my email nor i had got the hard copy customer care people says that they will charge Rs50 for the duplicate bill. they have provided me password twice but neither of them work in airtel portal.

AirTel — my payment added to another number

I paid my bill to airtel by cheque and Rs. debited my bank account after month i check my bill record bill same as it is so i inquiry to airtel stall so he told me by mistake the Rs added in another person and told me that i whould clear this problem but after month my card is disconnected by the mistake of airtel store because he would not clear that mistake so what we step to those perosn kindly reply me;

AirTel — AIRTEL worst Billing

I am airtel prepaid customer. last 4 months before i converted my prepaid no to airtel poast paid. After that m receiving 2 Bills every month. i called the customer care and they said by mistake two accounts are there for your no in our server. give us 2 hours time we ll delete that account. but last 4 months m receiving 2 bills and daily airtel executes calling me and asking me pay the duplicate accounts payment. everyday i am spending 30 min for them to explain about duplicate account details. very next day another one ll call and ask the payments for duplicate account. after my explanation they ll say give us 2 hours time we ll delete that account. finally they disconnect outgoing when my balance is 0.

then i ask them to convert my card to prepaid. they also done the same. after 2 days my sim registration has been failed. now they are telling your is permanently deleted but we don't know the reason. Nice service.. Airtel rocks..

Airtel — Accidental online Payment to Airtel

Hi,

My name is Pompana Gouda. 2 months back I was making online payment for my credit card and accidentally I selected wrong payee and made the payment. The payee was my old Airtel post-paid account which I closed 2 years back. It has already been converted to pre-paid now.

After this accidental payment when I checked with Airtel, they are saying they dont have any idea. When I approach my bank ICICI Bank, I dont get any good response from them. I dont know how to resolve this problem, since the payment was of Rs 7,000. Please advice.

    I am an airtel customer ([protected]) and i would like to complain about the late activation of the blackberry Internet plan. It has come to my notice that every time i activate the Internet plan i receive a confirmation sms grim the company that the plan will be activated within 4 hours. But it doesn't happen so. Most of the time i have to wait for at least 5 hours or even till the next day. Say, if i activate the one week plan and the plan actually starts working one day after that the customer loses out one day of service already. Please kindly look into the matter.

    AirTel — Activation of Plan

    I am a customer of airtel since last 13 yrs and i have 3 connections [protected], [protected], [protected]. What i have been noticing that services of airtell are deteriorating, worsning day by day and now they have become worst.There was time when i was so happy with airtel AND NOW ILLITERATE, FOOLISH, STUPID,executives are sitting at customer service, who dont know any thingthing except, sorry for keeping you on hold and few more ratta lines. I had requested for activation of Rs 99 plan on my no [protected], on which .20 paise will be charged from airtel to airtel.
    I had given request on 9th sept 2009, and till date, as on 15th sept the service has not been activated and i presuming that service has been activated, started using the mobile, with the understanding that i am being charged .20 per call. Who is going to pay for the difference? Will airtel pay that? All as executives have been appointed by airtel. Not now everytime i hve to shout and make your executives understand for what is required.

      Airtel digital tv customer care is the worst I have ever seen. I am not sure how they are still retaining customers in spite of this poor customer service.
      I have requested for upgrade to HD+ and paid the full amount, but the installation has not happened. In spite of multiple attempts of connecting with customer care(misnomer), which promised to do the installation in last 2 days, it did not happen. I was working from home, believing them for 2 days, and they didn turn up.

      They have wasted my 2 more days...Customer service, worst, not proper response, lot of folks disconnect when I speak in English as they know only Hindi, lot of commitments to call back and update..nothing happens...false promises. I ended up waiting for these guys two more days. If this is not resolved in 1 more day, will switch to tata sky+. Already enquired and they have good packages

      There is no action, inspite of calling customer care around 20-30 times in last 1 week.
      True the customer care is worst. At first when i dial a toll free 18... after 2 min of clicking and navigating to the right menu the operator speaks and the moment i say HD+ upgrade they ask me to call 12148...when i dialed it, it says dial 12150. And then when i say 12150 and after clicking and navigation for 2 1/2 min, operator speaks to me and says call to toll free and raise complaint. I scolded him and said that its been 2 days after my payment and still not getting HD channels. He says he will do Heavy Refresh at his system and he said call back after 2 hours. Still same issue after 1 day. On third day i call up again and operator speaks to me and says need to wait for 48 more hours to have all HD channels viewable.

      DISGUSTING AIRTEL DIGITAL TV service.

      Better to switch to TATA SKY+ or any other.

        Hello Team,

        I really had a bad experience with airtel this time. I am completely dissatisfied with service I have got from airtel.

        My Request was:

        I have requested for a new broadband connection from airtel in Bangalore Marathahalli area. The marketing guy told us there is no problem with this area . The connection will be made available within 4 days.
        I have paid the required amount Rs 3150 INR in check.

        Isuue: After 4 days I got a call like there is no DP switch available in my area so I have to wait for 2 days. I have waited for 2 days .After that no call, no update.When I called to CC they said you have to wait for more 7 days .I have waited for that. Like this My waiting goes in loop. Every time I called CCare, they are giving all false promises.

        Finally somebody says it will be activated by today evening. I went early from office ,for my surprise there is no call.

        SO I have decided to cancel the request. After 2 days when I checked with CC, they said they have rejected the cancellation request. Most surprising thing is they didn’t inform me on this. After that I have called ¾ times for cancellation. I don’t know each time I called they will take a new cancellation request.

        AirTel — New Broadband Connection problem

        Hi,

        I have applied for Airtel Broadband connnection on 7th April 2010, with payment of Rs 1500. Sales Executive promised that connnection will be installated on latest by 10th April 2010. But now it 13th April 2010, connection is not installated and Sales executive is also not picking up the phone. I have visited there office as well, but no response again.         AirTel — Getting new broadband connection

        Hi,
        i have applied for broadband connection with land line from airtel but still didn't get any. When filling up the form the marketing guy confirmed that with in 3-4 days i will be having the connection but it is almost 2 months now and no connection was provided. As per the offer i have paid 3months rental in advance and the money is still with Airtel. Everytime i call them they told me that it is in process or the matter has been escalated and you will get the connection in 3days and the next 3days never came. Also i need to follow up the status because untill unless you call them they never tell you or update you what is going on.

        Now the most bothering situation is that, when i call them for the status, they are saying the connection is not possible, you take your money back which is totally a . As i have paid the 3months rental in advance and waited 2months so there is no sense of getting my money back. Apart from that they said if you need a money back we ll initiate and the money will be back in 8-10days. So, in all aspects the customer needs to suffer. It is a kind of intentional torture because if they knew that the connection is not possible then why they filled the form and took the money and waited me so long.
        Now again, i requested them that i don't need the money as i waited so long, rather provide me the connection. As a reply they put me in indefinite hold to get the connection which is ridiculous.
        I am complaining here to get a resolution to my problem. I need Airtel to take it seriously and provide me the connection at the earliest.

          Dear Sir,


          This is to inform that I, Naushad Ahmad, Account ID #[protected] have been using Airtel Data card since january 2013. The plan that I had activated was Rs 450 with 2GB downloading limit. Now I called Airtel Customer Support on 20th February 2013 to get my Data Plan changed to Rs 650 with 3GB @ 7.2 MBPS & thereafter Unlimited downloading @ 80 KBPS as informed to me by Airtel Employee. I requested him to activate this plan from that billing cycle itself which he confirmed he will. Now I received the latest bill for my Airtel Data Connection and it is very high than expected, i.e Rs 1685.00
          Now when I called Airtel Customer support I didn't get any appropriate answer from them. Then I did contact with NODAL and still my complaint has not been resolved. In fact they keep hanging up the phone on me after making me wait for long time. I am highly irritated and feel harassed. I am making this final request from my end to waive off all unnecessary charges that have been levied due to lousy job done by an Airtel Employee whose name I do not remember. I am ready to pay the plan that I requested and was under an impression that it would have been activated already but apparently it wasn't. I am ready to pay Rs 650 + Taxes as applicable but I am definitely not gonna pay a single rupee more than that. This complaint is being sent to NODAL once again and also being forwarded to Consumer Court Forum. Kindly do the needful ASAP as my work is suffering due to negligence by Airtel.

          Airtel — Unnecessary charge on mobile for 20-20 updates

          I have a prepaid connection of Airtel[protected] and i am using this number for the last 4 years. I am now getting updates on 20-20 match and for each update 3 Rs is getting deducted from my balance. I had called up Airtel 3 or 4 times and each time they told they have unsubscribe the service for me. But every day i keep on getting this sms

          Airtel/Bharti Mobile — Bill

          I was a customer Airtel/Bharti ahmedabad, Guajarat, but to some discrpanices in bill and bad services i have quit it. I have taken a new number and given to Airtel/Bharti people and ask them to please come down to me and explain about the discrepancies and take your payment. But even we have called them n number of times to Aitel/Bharti people, to remove our doubts and take the payment they didn't come up. Instead some one named Mr. Manoj from Bharti Legal Dept called and ask us to pay the bill, when we explained him all the things, then he started shouting and talked to me in rude manner. Even after repatedly explaining him about the discrepancies he dnot listen to us asked us to pay, then we enquired him whether you are really from Bharti, so provide us with your Emp Id and the place we reach to you at your office, even we asked his full name but he didnot told us, Instead he started shouting and told us that you are fraud and bla bla things which i cannot write in this forum.

          Now the interesting part is He called to our family people, friends and those numbers, which were dialled from my number and told people that I have done fraud of Rs 20, 000/- and I am not paying bill of Rs. 10, 000/-. which actually didn't exist.

          Here we have not expected such a thing from Airtel/Bharti, Is this the way to treat a customer who had this number for more than 4 years. How the hell they can take our personal numbers and call them and try to defame us. Who has given them rights.

          I am mentioning the number of Mr. Manoj from Bharti Legal dept. the number is [protected].

          I hope so atleast some action will be taken against him and the company

          i'm kannan v, having a postpaid mobile connection in airtel.the number is [protected].from the month of november my phone usage bill has been on the rise.after imposing hundreds as rupees as fine the bill amount now stands near 1937.72 which is nearing my credit limit of rs.2000.but my mobile usage is not as much as this amount and i want you to consider this complaint and to take necessary actions.previously about 2years back i've faced the same problem of airtel imposing a bill of rs.2000 only for messaging charges.that was solved and they accepted that it was their fault.now again the problem has occured with call charges.pleas take necessary actions.thank you.

            Hi,
            My name is Sagar Kute. I have Corporate Rs.149/- plan period from day 23 to day 22. I had activated GPRS and SMS service. Right now i am not using GPRS enable Mobile Handset from last 3 months so i requested to customer care to deactivate of GPRS service on 21th Feb 2013 (near about 10-11 AM) on 121 and also on 198 Customer Care number.On the same day i got the Deactivation Successfull message near about 4.30PM.
            According to my billing period for next month from deactivation i.e. for march and april(23/02/2013-22/03/2013 and 23/03/2013-22/04/2013), GPRS service amount is not added in the final bill. Also i have raised one service request (SR) on 121 on 9th or 10th of May for deactivating the GPRS service and reduce the amount. Customer Care Execative replied me that he had made SR and amount will be reduced from bill. But Service amount is still added in Bill for both months(March and April) and service is deactived.

              i have complaint more than 15 times regarding my very slow 3g speed all the times message appears from customer care and a reference number and next day a message appears your problem is resolved but still got same problem i also trying to complaint to seniors executive then disconnect call all the times.now then banned my call for customer care fir which i could not contact customer care.

              AirTel — VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

              I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET IN TOUCH WITH A CUSTOMER CARE,IO ACTIVATE MY INTERNATIONAL ROAMING , ITS TAKES MORE THAN 30MINS JUST SPEAK TO A CUSTOMER CARE SERVICE PERSON. THEN WHEN I TOLD TO ACTIVATE MY INTERNATIONAL ROAMING , HE TELLS ME YOU HAVE TO CALL MAHARASHTRA . I TOLD TO GIVE MAHARASHTRA NUMBER THEN IT TOOK AROUND 15MIN TO GET THE NUMBER. I HAD BEEN CALLING FROM OVER SEAS, I CALLED THE OTHER NUMBER AND I WAS NOT ABLE TO TALK TO CUSTOMER CARE. JUST WAS KEPT ON HOLD FOR LONG TIME , AND I HAD TO HANG UP. SAME THING HAPPENED LAST YEAR , AND MY SERVICE WAS DISCONTINUED AND MY NUMBER RESOLD TO SOMEBODY ELSE.
              I HAVE LOT OF BAD TASTE FROM AIRTEL TO TELL BUT DONT HAVE ENOUGH TIME. YOU GET LOT OF ADDS, UNWANTED CALLS....ETC.. THEY JUST WANT CREAM WITHOUT PAIN.......VERY SOON VODAPHONE IS GOING TO TAKE OVER...AS THEY ARE REALLY DOING VERY GOOD AT THIS TIME TILL DATE, (APRIL 2010).

              Airtel — Very poor assistance to customer

              On 8 aug i got 2 messages that my yahoo zone services have been renewed and 10 rs have been deducted as i have never activated anything like that so i asked the customer care 1st time they cut call 2nd time they said we dont have your updated data so wait up to 10th aug your will be refunded but no action was taken so i called today again 11th aug to customer care they asked me to hold so that they can check the details and after charging me for calling them for 6 min they cut the call again

              Airtel — Extremely poor customer service

              I am an Airtel customer with land line and internet broadband connections, since beginning of April. Airtel promised to send a qualified personnel for installation of my broadband service but sent a completely incompetent person who could not do the required set up and answer our queries. Since then my wife and I have been following up with Airtel executives who sold us the connection in the first place and the Airtel helpline for the last one month and more, to send us an alternative person, but to no avail. The Airtel helpline (198) even refuses to give a complaint number. Whenever we call them, they tell us "our systems are in updation" and ask us to call back in 2 hours; and these happens during normal office working hours on weekdays. When we call back after 2 hours, they tell us again that "our systems are in updation" and ask us to call back in 2 hours. When I asked them to register our complaint and give a complaint number, they refused to do so and once even put the phone down abruptly. Is there any other way of escalation?
              Even i applied for Broadband and Fixed line connection in Airtel. Almost 1 week is completed.Executive who came and got all documents promised that within 2 days all installation will be done.But its more than a week and didnt get proper response from any one in Airtel. If i call to customer executive, not getting proper response and they disconnect the call immediately. Very worst service from Airtel.By the Way, this is happening in Pune. Please dont go for Airtel connection in Pune.Very Very worst service never seen.

                understand you donot give farewell to your ex employees but at least a decent exit to your ex customer is needed.

                My AIRTEL Land line phone has not been disconnected despite of several complaints registered and useless complaint no.s provided! The Airtel people probably provide their customers with only USELESS and UNNECESSARY assurance for the work that they will never finish.

                Till date I have spoken to several customer service people transferring my call to supervisors...but the work remains incomplete!

                Bharti Airtel — Not disconnecting my Landline

                I wanted my landline disconnected so I paid the bill, cleared the remaining amount as they asked me to do. But still they didn't disconnected my landline and started calling me periodically in 2-3 days asking for the reason of disconnection, upon giving the reason also they again called asking for reason and offering me some discount for continuing the service. This happened again and again and at the end of the month I received a new bill for that month. Now I have to first clear the bill again then ask them to disconnect my landline. I want to take an action which will waive my bill amount and give me relief from their service.

                  I’m Dr. Sunil, from Chennai. I have a prepaid mobile connection with Airtel. I have activated 3G data share pack & it was confirmed with the following message from Airtel 121 “Data Share Rs.1001 Free 5 GB Plan is successfully activated, validiity 30 days/bill cycle. To add number, SMS Data Share ADD to 121″.

                  I composed a message ‘Data Share ADD XXXXXXXXXX’ and sent it to 121. I received the following error message from 58109 “Sorry! Your request to add/delete airtel mobile XXXXXXXXXX for sharing 3G data could not be processed due to It is not a valid parent number”. I tried with other number but the same error message returned. So i called up the 121 and informed my problem, they asked for the format in which the sms was sent and what error message received and later they also collected the number to which i tried to add. They informed that they arranged me a call back to resolve the problem. But no one called me. I called 121 few more times they informed that they will arrange a call back, but with no result. Attempted to do this through www.airtel.in website, but the same error message came to mobile.

                  On 29th April, 2013 i spoke to a team lead in 121 after asking the executive to connect me to a higher official, he also promised me a call back but this was also with no result. he also said that he can arrange a refund. I told him i want the service instead. He gave me an applet number [protected] and asked me to speak to Mr. Balakrishnan about this issue. When i tried the number it requested me to key in the SR number. So on 1st May, 2013 i called 121 again and requested them to give me the SR number for the complaints that i have been placing for 5 days. But they said they have no provision to generate it. So i insisted to speak to a higher official and i was connected to Mr. Dev, Team Lead, 121. He denied to give me a SR number as this issue doesn’t come in the scope of giving SR number.

                  When i can’t escalate to a higher level without SR number and i’m not provide one to do so what kind of a customer service is run by Airtel. So i gave a compliant that i was promised of call back and it was not done for three consecutive attempts (even by team lead) and asked them to give a SR number for this compliant atleast. Which again was refused. So for what level of complaints do a customer get a SR number.

                  What is the escalation matrix of Bharati Airtel and whether the SR number not be given is a rightful claim of Airtel. I have been facing so many similar issues with Airtel, jus because they give a better service. But when there is an issue Airtel behaves the worst in resolving it.

                  For all many such previous incidents i had to go to the level of appellate to resolve issue with much difficulty. Now the appellate is not accessible without a SR number, which the customer care is denying me to give one.

                  As a long term loyal customer i demand a better services from them including the speedy activation of 3G data share and the days adjusted according to the day of enabling of sharing services. What will be the answers for the difficulty i’ve faced for resolving so many issues with Airtel. Aren’t they suppose to give me a better service without much effort from my side.

                  without asking company activates or subscribes me as a customer for different services and sends sms saying if dont want to subscribe please send sms describing "don't want to subscribe". my family members could not read or even understand this and get charged min. 30 rupees. so please stop services like this and stop charging like this to innocent or unqualifed subscribers like me.

                  Airtel is not giving good service also.
                  Even i am facing the same situation. Actually it was working fine for me, I wanted to activate hello tunes for 6 months validity deducting 90 Rs. So i called customer executive to activate but he activated for 3 months deducting 75 Rs. I tried to call back but now they have disabled my number, when ever i call 121 or [protected] the computer says me to SMS AIRTEL to 121.

                      I am Mr. Chirag Shah from Pune. My mobile number is [protected]. On Date 30/04/2013 i had recharged of Rs.333 from Freecharge.in site. as shown on site. It was mentioned Rs.333/- full talktime for Rs.333/-.No other details are mentioned regarding the same. When my actually recharge done i have received something different which actually not mentioned and did not get talk time for my respective amount.

                      I would like to make a fraud complaints against Airtel and Freecharge.in site for false information. I called and email for both vendors for this issue. They refused to accept a complaint. I am attaching the screen shot of the same.

                      I would like to request you to resolve my issue and give justice for me on the same take appropriate actions against them.

                      I am very upset not only because of this incidence (I am still unable to use use GPRS or send sms) but also because they refuse to give me any proper solution and send me same reply every time.

                      Their website http://www.airtel.in/m-commerce/offers_and_promotions.html still shows full talktime for Rs. 333 (as of 6-May-2013, refer screen shot)

                      Either they should refund my money or transfer the balance to the main account..

                      To my surprise, you have arbitrarily changed the plan and given me 333 local
                      minutes and some 2G data and sms. So, I still could not make any calls even
                      after topping up my account with Rs. 333 as I was still in roaming in New
                      Delhi, neither could I use mobile internet. This has caused me a lot of mental
                      agony. I did not expect this, arbitrary changes without informing the customers
                      who have been using the plan for as long as four years, from Airtel.

                      I do not need 333 local minutes as my current rate plan gives me much more than
                      that and I independently recharge for 2G data.

                      I hereby request you to ASAP refund me my Rs. 333 or credit my main account
                      with Rs. 333 as it used to happen earlier.

                      My concern was not regarding the plan being changed without my consent, but
                      being changed without my knowledge after using it for several years.

                      Merely acknowledging my inconvenience does not help me at all and I am still
                      unable use my 2G data as my main account balance is still zero. You must
                      acknowledge that the inconvenience was caused by your arbitrary change and no
                      mistake of my own.

                      I do not require the benefits given by you under RC 333, as I have already
                      informed you that:
                      1. I get many more than 333 local minutes at my current call rate plan in Rs.
                      333
                      2. I do not need 666 MB data as I independently recharge my account with Rs. 98
                      and have sufficient balance in that account. (and unable to use either of that
                      because main account balance being zero rupees)
                      3. I do not need 999 sms as I rarely send text messages. (and again, I am
                      unable to send any text messages because main account balance being zero rupees)

                      So, after recharging my account with Rs. 333, I am still unable to use internet
                      in phone or send text, all thanks to Airtel!! So, once again, I kindly request
                      you to either refund my Rs. 333 or transfer the balance to my main account as
                      soon as possible and put an end to the inconvenience you have been causing for
                      last three days to your loyal customer of more than eight-nine years!!

                          I am really frustrate now from Airtel DTH service. I never expect Airtel brand can do like this.

                          I purchase Airtel Digital TV from Sanjeev ([protected]) @ Manimajra Chandigarh on Dewali Occasion last year. I gave him Approximately 9,000/- for 1 year plan and I bought 3 connection for my home.

                          He has committed me 275 Plan will be activate for 1Year but after the activation done money taken from me the picture got turned and now my validity got expired in 6/months in my two connection except primary conection. I am calling there customercare from last 4/month I am roaming here and there to avail 1Year validity and no one is helping me I am very disappointed now.

                          I spoke many times with Mr. Saurav (ASM of Chandigarh region) @ [protected] but he has not fixed this problem yet. He committed me that it will automatically get extended from last 4/months. He is very fake person. Is this the way to dealing the business. After taking the money you guys never look after the customer problems.

                          Please resolve this issue in timeline waiting for your revert.

                          Due to this problem I am not able to change my monthly subscription pack & I am not getting what I need, Airtel should now that I am paying for my need. And leading to wastage of money.

                          Even Mr.Sharma asked to me pull off the the digital tv and take Rs.1000 against it is this away to treat a customer.

                          To Airtel I want to say that for what you are enjoying goodwill in market. Clear the problem or compensate for my money & time wastage on your firm.

Ihave became a member of airtel service in october, 2006 with a renewal of Rs.99/- per month and the in the 13th month the service will be for lifetime. On 30th November,07 my top-up for Rs. 50/- has been recharged but I am unable to recharge the renewal of Rs. 99/-. And my out/incoming call has been barred. Even I am unable to call the customare care No. 121 to know the reason for my failing to recharge.The retailer is of no help. Please look into the matter so that my last renewal could be possible. Alternately I have to opt for other service provider.

                            airtel mobile (postpaid) service — Non-Activation of Service

                            I have opted for a switch over from prepaid to post paid service. Keeping my mobile number unchanged. The executive has collected the money (Rs.600 cash) and required documents on 22.5.2008. Since 27.5.2008 till today i.e. 29.5.2008 my both (prepaid as well as postpaid) services are disconnected.

                            When my postpaid service will get activated and where to contact ?

                            When I try[protected] for say 10 times, 9 times it gets automatically disconnected.

                            My relationship with Airtel is since 5years, n, one thing I can say, Customer care service is very poor in Airtel.

Next day, they again deducted Rs.20, but, of no use. I talked to Customer care 6-7times, but they didn't rectify my problem, n, I was not able to assesss internet. I lost so many important information, which was necessary for me that time. The mental agony I got through the day by calling Airtel customer care, who can solve it? Will Airtel return my Rs. 40, which I lost without assessing the internet service? How long such kind of poor responce will go on by Customer care?
                            I need to stop the JOKES and other messages originated from Air tel to stop with immediate effect on my mobile (prepaid) [protected].

                              both time my money got waste and my call rate did not as per rule.

                                Airtel provides all of these in one single and simple pack called "Airtel 4G LTE". No waiting for poor service, it starts the minute you pay them the money.
                                Welcome to Airtel greed.
                                Now the proof of the pudding for me

                                The sales/demo executive came on time, confirm their arrival multiple times.
                                They demoed it against primarily the "speedtest.net". Wow see I get close to 30 Mbps. But the trick is that if I try the speed test against other servers or even airtel's own speed test server then magic happens as the speed is consistently less than 15 Mbps and on average comes up to only 5 Mbps.

                                Out of desperation since I do not have any other broadband I buy the 4G LTE dongle and the “service” starts as soon as I’m done the payment.

                                The sales executive tells me “Your dongle will be activated within 24 hrs”, what they are really telling me is that “Your dongle will be activated 24 hrs after verification team person has visited you and entered the details in the system”. Sadly dumb me was not able to read in between their lines (or is it lies?)

                                I had another special service added to my buy cycle. Even after 24 hrs after the verification person came and verified, my wireless dongle was not activated. When I enquired the “Verification Department” I was told “Sir the person who came to verify should have given you the number associated with your dongle”. But I was not given.

                                I had the pleasure of calling multiple times the sales executive who sold me the dongle and the local office which airtel has outsourced for verification to get my number. That added another 24hrs.

                                Once I get the number, I call the Verification Department of Airtel to get the 4G LTE verified. “Yay me” you might think that now I have web connectivity.. That is where you are wrong.

                                Just out of curiosity I open up the “Resource Manager” of Windows 7 Task Manager, I suddenly see that the “ConnectionManager” process of airtel seems to be using up close to 12 KBps with no other process running. I immediately contact the “I don’t Care for Customer” number for help to understand this behavior

                                After I explain the details, while the “I don’t care for customer” executive considers me as a who has say “Window Update” or some “Malware” running behind the scenes for the download of 12 KBps and I patiently explain that I have verified this using the “Resource Manager” of Windows 7. The clueless executive promises “Someone from technical team will contact you in 24 hrs”. Wonders of wonder, no one contacts me.

                                But to exasperate the problem, unlike Airtel Mobile or Landline, the previous executive did not give me any “Reference number” to track my problem. Not only that this 12KBps of data cheating happening but also my connection seems to drop out for apparently no reason, though my LTE shows all 4 bars green (full signal strength). So I call again, but this time I’m smarter, I ask the name of the executive at the other end and also some tracking information. He gives his name as Rohan and “interaction number” as f[protected]. He says to me “We will surely call you in 24 hrs this time”. 24 hrs gone but no call.

                                The problem of connection dropping inspite of full signal strength is so baffling and frustrating I make one more call to “I don’t care for customer” number. Now another executive of the name H. Raghav handles the call. He is polite and seems genuinely interested to help me. He asks me to take the SIM out of the dongle and reinsert it and try again. But after some time the connection drops. He informs “some problem with the SIM’s registration with the network” and “our technical team would contact you as soon as we fix this from our end” That interaction ID was [protected].

                                So after a week no one calls and I still face the issue.


                                Keeping all these wonderful experiences in my mind, I’m planning to surrender my newly bought 4G LTE and plan to living happily in office till 11:30 pm to attend all my meetings.

                                AirTel — poor service by sales executive

                                I have gone for Airtel post-paid connection on sep 22nd,2007. The sales executive had given me a faulty SIM, where in I had only outgoing facility,but I didn;t have incoming calls. I took this matter to the notice of sales executive(from whom I applied for a post-paid connection),he has given me another SIM card,but the SIM isn't activated until this day. all my calls to that sales executive and even customer care call center is on deaf ears...can't someone look into this issue??..I have been using airtel for 4 years and I was satisfied,I dont want to switch over to other services just because a sales executive is screwing up.....

                                I am airtel customer for about three years or more. My mobile no is[protected]. My credit limit is also about Rs 5000/-. In november2008 i requested to change my billing plan. Customer care Exec. told bill change will be done in next billing cycle i.e from Dec 2008. Latter on 12dec i again requested for same and i was confirmed my bill change plan is in process and will be activated in dec 2008 billing.

                                Latter in Jan when i confirmed about my bill got suspection bill plan still not changed. Since then i was in regular followup with customer care guys. I had talk with Savan, Janpreet, Sameer, Gaurav and Floor Incharge. Every time i got new replies. Atlast i was confirmed my billing plan is changed but will be effective from 26Feb 2008.( Next billing cycle)

                                Savan : 100% your billing from 26 Jan will be effective with new plan
                                Janpreet: Your request process pl call back after 3 hours
                                Sameer: I am forwarding your request. Also gave request no 6406771 ( not confirmed request no). My seniors will call you up in 24hours. But after 3 days also not got any call
                                Gaurav: Your billing plan change is in process will be effective from next billing cycle and assured all past over billing amount will get adjusted.
                                Floor Incharge: Your billing plan will be effective from next billing cycle. Difference of billing amount for last billing cycles forwarding complain to back office and they will look into the same.

                                All the time different assurance following up since november but all in vain. Such a poor service experience

Now on my phone number of services like news alert, buity, commedy junction have been automatically activated and some aomount is deducted for every service every day what to do with such service? customercare executives are hopeless and incompetient. they behave like they are enemy of airtel. time will tell lession to airtel, one day they will loose all customers. is their anybody responsible officer to care for airtel.

                                  I had bought an Airtel 3G Data card after a non stop pestering from Airtel dealers. I have asked for the maximum tariff they have in Airtel and they said "For 1500 rupees 12.5 GB data free in 3G Speed and after that the speed limit will get down to 2G... It is an unlimited plan". I have asked them three to four times to confirm about the plan and everytime they told the samething. I got a shock once i bought the data card... It has been activated for 950 plan which comes with 6G data in 3G Speed. When i contacted the Airtel customer care about that,they casually told,there is no such plan for 12.5 GB Unlimited. I have asked then why they are promoting like that.. There is no proper answer from them for that.

                                  My data card was activated on 15th April 2013. From Airtel they told you would get a minimum speed of 3.2 Mbps and a Maximum speed of 7.2 Mbps for 3G. But from day one i never got 3G Speed and even for opening a mail,it taking 45 seconds to one minute of time. For downloading 195 MB data it took 25 minutes. The maximum download speed i am receiving is not more than 60 Kbps,sometimes 128 kbps.

                                  I have called customer customer nearly 10 times about the issue and filed a complained about it. They sent a person from Airtel to check the signal in my area. He came,checked the signal and said "you could never get 3G speed here. The maximum speed might be 512 kbps and sometimes it may reach 1 Mbps. They should never sell 3G service here". I was shocked to the core by hearing that. I again complained about it in Airtel. Some higher official from Airtel called me on 25th April 2013 morning and told "We are upgrading the signal in your area with a booster. It would take 72 hours for upgradation and then you will get full 3G Speed. Now its been 120 hours and my network speed becoming worse day by day.

                                  Finally, I called the customer care on 29th April 2013 and told about the issue. They very cooly told there is no 3G service there,so you cant get 3G Speed. I have asked then why they gave me 3G connection? They replied you can disconnect your service anytime but you have to pay for the first month.

                                  My question is

                                  As a customer i definitely dont know whether they have 3G service here or not... But as a service provider "Airtel" should have known that already right? Then why should they sell it? Their only moto is to sell their 3G service even by fake promotions,even there is no site which provide 3G speed,even customer face a great dissatisfaction.

                                  Now i have spent 1000 rupees on that useless 3G Data card. Who will pay it back?
                                  I have called customer care many times and i am really tired about saying the same thing again and again. But no response from them at all. Finally they saying we have already told you that you wont get 3G speed there,but you only wished to continue the service. So its not our fault!!!

                                  Do "Airtel" thinking customers as senseless ??? Who are they to play with my money?????????
                                  And finally to hide their mistake they blaming me now.....!!!

                                  Please take necessary action against them and stop their fraudulent activities and please please please save customers!!!!

                                    I am using airtel mobile ([protected]) for almost 4 years. From the beginning they were detecting some amount for some reason. Once I call to the customer care they are just telling " you did this, you did this", but actually am not. Once I strongly argue for this they were returning the amount detected. This is happened hundreds of time. If somebody did not notice the amount detected, the hard earned money is into airtel. This is ridiculous to people.

                                    This is my important part of complaint. from 7-April-2013 to 21-April-2013 I stayed in France. I tried to call India and am failed. But an amount of RS.100 is detected from my account. I can't call even the customer care from there. Once I reached to India I called them and told this they said that "I sent some messages and received calls", but actually I am sure that I Didn't receive any call to my airtel no and I did not sent any messages. Finally I sent port request. Then they called many time and said that "Please sir tell me your problem to resolve", even though I said to them that I was busy. At times I said my problem too.

                                    So please ban AIRTEL in INDIA!! They are money eaters of the poor's hard earned!!

                                    AirTel — detecting amount

                                    i have message from 54321 after the message received detecting amt as subscription charges please deacivate the services
                                    A new trouble with airtel, I am using postpaid 3G internet with airtel. My bill plan is Rs 450 for 2GB data. They informed me that post usage of Rs.950 will ba free. So I cant be charged more than Rs. 950. For last month I am unknowingly utilized more than the free data. Even the it shuld not exceed 950 but I have been billed 1700. Absolute faking. Please take necessary action.

                                      i had a postpaid number [protected] on my name Abhishek A Goyal from the AIRCEL, which i got as a fancy number on payment of a certain premium amount,then due to personal reasons i shifted it to Airtel service provider. Due to my outdoor tour plan could not use the sim for 3 months but when i reached Airtel office (Santhome) in the month of December 2012... was directed that a new sim will be activated for the same number and this will be treated as a new connection...and i had to pay some outstanding for the previous bills and new sim connection amount which i did on the same day around 15 to 20th of december 2012..(through Debit Card payment). and to the great services of the great Airtel company till date(30th april 2013) the sim hasn't been activated.i have made many visits to thier same office(a tedious process as i live 10 km away from this office) but am again made to wait as per thier token system and then receive a simple reply they have not yet got the order to activate the sim as soon as they get the mail to qctivate they will do so and they have no time period for it. How long does a person wait to get a new connection activated is my question with the technology we are having in the world today. or this is the manner in which all airtel sim services get activated....,.??????

                                      i have purchase a a compained pack of Airtel 1999 plan of sony erriccion 120 i from Jai peer Bhaba communication Narea. on 5 /03/08. On the purchase of this mobile, from to till date rotate at the shop, where i have purchase the packet for activating this connection. from last date till five days passed and it is not activate. every time the shop person saying to activate today, after one hour and different words. Now last time i call with the area distributer and talk with them on this number [protected] and they talk with me not mentioned- without manner-.

                                      On 18 may 2008 your companies executive miss swati [protected] and miss sangutha [protected] explain me the plan for governemt servents and register for sim card and take the cheque of rs599/-cheque no 447233 and tell me that at that time unavilablity of xerox of sim card they give me the sim card at next day, after that i was contact with her but there is no responce, now at about after 15 days there is no sim card for me. there is missgauide from your marking exucuties. due to this the beliveness on your company shoud less and also i am now doubt ful about the plan which she explian to me. your executives are cheater . please send me the sim card as ealry as possible.

                                      Myself is Rajni Sharma. I am having mobile connection with no. [protected], in my name. REcently, I had lost my handset. So, consequently, I made contact to your customer care executive & request them to immediately block my SIM as on 19th June, 2008.

                                      After that, I had applied through your outlets for the new SIM having same number. Then, I had received letter from yours regarding door steps delivery of my SIM. But even after that I had not received my SIM. Then, after making a number of calls to your customer care centre, Even I had received the new SIM, but till the date my SIM has not been activated.

                                      Hence, you are requested to kindly look into the matter & activate my no. immediately.

                                      An Airtel pre-paid connection was subscribed by me on July 5, 2008 vide SIM No.[protected] and mobile no. +91-[protected] in the name of Jitendra Kumar. Requisite documents were submitted viz. copy of PAN Card, Bonafide letter from the employer i.e. IDBI Bank Ltd. and it was told that the documents are in order. Thereafter within a week the above SIM was blocked by Airtel office. The service provider could not be contacted till August 11, 2008 because of my busy schedule and being outstation for sometime. On August 12, 2008 the service outlet of airtel at S.P.Verma Road, Patna i.e. M/s. Navin Enterprises was contacted and re-submitted requisite documents viz. copy of PAN Card, Copy of Electricity Bill and an Employment letter from IDBI Bank Ltd. mentioning therein my present address. It was told that the above mob. no. will be activated by the evening. However on getting no response in the matter, the above outlet was again contacted and it was told that my SIM Card has been permanently blocked. It is needless to express the level of anxiety due to this pathetic service provided by Airtel.

                                      Bharti Airtel Ltd Prepaid Connection — Non activation of Internet Connectivity

                                      Sir,

                                      I would like to brought in your mind that I have an prepaid connection bearing cell no. [protected] since Saturday 09.08.2008. Since then I had made 5 times customer care request and 3 times SMS request for Activation of Internet connectivity. Every time they assured me but till date and now the activation has not been completed and finally they block the customer care request option at around 19:00 hours on dt.11.08.08.

                                      Please let me know whether there is any problem that is not fulfilled by me? If so, why the customer care pesonnel do not tell me the same I will trying my level best to fulfil the same otherwise plese activate immediately the Internet connectivity unblock the customer care option.

Do not know when will it be activated! Their service is pathetic!

                                      Airtel (Bharti) — Non Activation of SIM card

                                      I took a new Airtel prepaid connection no [protected] (Delhi circle) a week ago and I submitted all my relevant documents as suggested by the Airtel retail outlet in Vasant Kunj (Masoodpur).I was told that I would receive a verification call with in two days. I did not receive any call from them and on third day they disconnected my services. I have been running around the house since then. I went to the same retail outlet where I took the connection and they are not ready to take the ownership of the task now. They asked me to visit Airtel Showroom in Gurgaon.Then I spoke to the customer service and they are like a pain in the butt. If you call them after 9 PM, they do not pick up the call. If they pick up the call they just hang up. They put the customer for long hold and then disconnect after 4-5 minutes, they tell us that they need to find more info and put the phone aside. The call goes on for 4-5 minute, I could hear the conversations in the background and finally when he comes back, he disconnects the call, sometimes they shout at the customer.Airtel customer service is just pathetic.

                                      I called up next morning and they rep (Jatin) and told me that the verification has failed so I have to take a new number. And when I enquired about the money I spent in buying the SIM and recharge, he said, they cannot do anything about it.
                                      I spoke to some Ashwini in the evening (fortunately before 9 PM) and he said all is fine and I just have to wait for 24 hours for the activation and they will get the number activated for me. He said he will forward a complaint to the networks department for activation. I told him that I'm ready to submit documents again but he assured me that my number will get activated in 24 hours. As they say there is no light at the end of the tunnel, I kept on waiting and my number was not activated.
                                      I called up next evening to enquire about the status and the next gentleman told me that there was a problem with the enrollement form and I have to go to Airtel outlet and resubmit the form. I went to the retail outlet opposite my house but they said that I have to visit the gurgaon office.

                                      I called up next morning and I spoke to some Floor manager Ajay Verma and he was good for nothing. He told me that I have to take a new connection as my services are cancelled. When asked about the refund of my money, he plainly said no to me, he was rude on call as he was speaking to his servant.

                                      No one is taking ownership of my problem. The Airtel service has gone from bad to worse. The customer service is lousy and I think they should shut their call centres. They have all literate, incompetent and non professional guys in their customer service. Guys there do not know how to talk politely and courteously with the customers. They take them for granted.

                                      Could some one tell Sunil Mittal about the state of affairs he is running? He should know what is happening right under his nose. He talks about overseas acquisitions, sponsoring Delhi half marathon etc but I think he should set his house in order first.

                                      On 10/05/09 Airtel Executive (Ms Seema Dhende/code no-MMAT[protected]visited my residence for selling sim card.I had bought the sim card for my Dad Mr Prakash Pradhan under the New Good Value 199 scheme(Bill noMMU[protected] .We had given her pan card xerox & MTNL bill + check of rs 500/- as a deposit which she told will be adjusted in monthly bill.She assured us that his card will be activated within 3/5 days after verification but till today (19/05/09) noting has being done (no verification also)
                                      When I called Ms Seema for the same she is not lifting phone, after continuously followups she sends an SMS saying that - Pls contact [protected].When contacted on this number she gave other number of her boss Ms Parvati- [protected], she also didn't lift the phone after 3 hrs she lift the phone I discussed the issue with her & she told that will call back but no communication till now, when I'm caling she is not responding.
                                      WORST CUSTOMER CARE SERVICES
                                      I think AIRTEL should be banned.
                                      The payment of the number when done, the CC takes 4 hours to re-activate the system or network. It has been almost 2 days those 4 hours have not ended. person is outside the city and is unable to reach as well. After numerous calls to CC same updates with no actions is taking place!!!

                                      My Commanding Officer Wg Cdr L Joseph took a SIM card of Airtel under CUG scheme bearing Mobile no.-[protected] in the month of March 2009 after payment of Rs. 785/- including service tax. The SIM could not be used due to some unforeseen reasons. On 21st of July Airtel was contacted for activation of SIM. Mr. Alok a rep of Airtel visited to my office and informed that the SIM has been blocked and it requires all requisite documents and photograph again for re-activation. He was supplied with all the requisite documents and a photograph. He promised that the SIM will be activated after 48 hrs. Till 25th of July we waited for activation but the same has not been done yet. Now I am forced to make a complaint against the service provider on behalf of my Commanding Officer. It is understood that in such a technologically advanced age such delay in activation of mobile may cause heavy financial loss to the consumer.

                                      i had a post paid service connection bearing the no [protected] which i had to convert to prepaid as i was about to leave the city of ghaziabad
                                      there was an issue with respect to my photo identity ( saying that it was nt clear ) post to which a visible id was submitted and my prepaid connection was activated

                                      My Mobile No is [protected],which i have been using it from past 10 to 12 years on 14.11.2010 i applied for Migration of Postpaid to Prepaid connection for the same i have full filled all the formalities as per Airtel guidelines.

                                      But While traveling I lost my Prepaid SIM & I applied for Duplicate SIM from your ARC 167 Bangalore on 16.11.2010 there also all requirements were fulfilled to get that SIM [even details were confirmed with your Hotline verification (First & Last REchagre Amount Rs 49 on 16.11.2010 & No Calls are made from that no as i lost )] but till now SIM has not been activated .


                                      When we approach your people in outlets ,they just give answers saying that From their end they have completed the process and its the activation dept who has to make process.

                                      Since 10 days we are roaming in the airtel customer care office for the activation of my Sim Card which i recently migrated from Reliance,
                                      after several visits also the airtel CC is not giving any proper response to the matter & neglecting my urgency for the need of my mobile number,
                                      The problem is i am not able to make Outgoing calls from my number.
                                      PLEASE HELP ME IN THIS REGARD AS IT IS MY CORPORATE NUMBER.
                                      I paid for a new post-paid mobile connection on 30th october, was assured that the SIM will be activated within 24 hours. But today 12 days have passed and there is no news.

                                      I called several times to make a complaint finally i was given a complaint no. 46890919 which was supposed to be resolved by 9th nov 2012 but nothing has moved yet.

                                      i'm supposedly AIRTEL's platinum customer and this kind of service is being provided.

Earlier the customer care executive told me that it will be activated in 2 working days, but it has not been activated till date. I have submitted all the necessary documents as well as Rs.400(receipt attached). Additionally, the customer care is not responding to my calls and even if they pick up my call they respond very rudely. I don&#039;t know what to do in this situation.
                                      This kind of behaviour is really not tolerable...

                                        Sir, i recharged my airtel number by 145 2g net but still they deducted 369 rupees from my main account. Their attitude is so irresponsible that they are saying i am free to go customer care or wherever.they have harassed me by doing so before also but at that time atleast they gave my money back but now they are saying they wont give me my money back.
