I had recharged my airtel number [protected] with 655 rupees unlimited 3G (3GB+unlimited at 80kbps) data plan with transaction ID [protected] ON[protected] AT 6:37PM after this recharge i used to get around 10 kbps download speed and 1 kbps upload speed later for the same i had reported it to your nodal desk and the issue was RESOLVED on[protected]. and i got 2GB of 3G data credited to my account after this 2GB was used up i was being charged.(FOR THE SAME REFUND WAS PROVIDED) where as i should get unlimited browsing at 80 kbps . NOW AFTER CALLING 121 CUSTOMER FOR HELP THEY ASK ME TO MAINTAIN MINIMUM BALANCE. IF I MAINTAIN MINIMUM BALANCE I EVEN THAT MINIMUM BALANCE IS DEDUCTED. I GOT A CALL FROM CUSTOMER CARE AND THEY INFORMED ME THAT THE ISSUE IS RESOLVED BUT WHEN I USE INTERNET I FOUND THAT THE ISSUE STILL EXISTED(AND 80kbps UNLIMITED benefit was not provided) . I have called customer care, supervisor,floor manager, nodal officer, Appellate desk for this issue but they provide false assurance and nothing else. On[protected] i had to get a call back from your Appellate desk BUT NO CALL WAS MADE and today when i gave a call to Appellate desk they promise to give a call back with in 1 hour but no call is being made from Appellate desk its been more than 2 hours my airtel mobile number is [protected] and ref number is CBDMO [protected] <i kindly request you to provide me with 80kbps unlimited browsing as per my plan benefit >

airtel providing false assurance

i had recharged 655 3g plan on my no [protected] after download 3gb my downloading speed remain 10kbps insead of 80kbps UNLIMITED speed. airtel providing false assurance. i should get unlimited browsing at 80 kbps that they mentioned in plan.

kindly request you to provide me with 80kbps unlimited browsing as per my plan benefit

    I'm a existing new user of airtel but i am totally not satisfied form Airtel Broadband because though i always pay my bill before the due date then also airtel charged me 100rs. late fee and when i had a talk with the supervisor of airtel they are talkin to me in a massive way and told me that we had already done adjustment n showing me wrong.
    i said to them that i can show my bill that i had payed it on time but airtel has updated after so many days so wat can i do in that?
    i cant always pay wrong amount
    my plan was also a limited connection before n airtel had said to me that we will informed you whenever you limited usage data will expired n now you will charge but they didnt informed me and now i have to pay rs1635 .
    I am ready to pay the amount but i dont wall all this in future so kindly terminate my account because reliance broadband is better than airtel

    with just one touch at airtel live in our mobile at ringtones we faced a loss of 30 rupees.
    they donot even ask any question weather we want ringtone yes or no.
    for any enquiry they asked alot of questions but just a by chance touch of airtel live we faced loss.
    customer care exicutives are also not aware aboubt the airtel services.
    i m not satisfied so i will stop using airtel and advice my friends for the same.

        I Activated Airtel Unlimited GPRS plan @201 which is 2GB 2G and 40kbps post 2GB. Airtel is alerting me my data usage whenever I use it and it is quite obvious that they are showing more data usage than I had used. Airtel is alerting me 4 times my phones data counter. PLS TAKE immediate and strong action against Airtel's FRAUD PLAY.

        I have lodged complaint on 22-Mar-15 by calling customer care and the reference number :[protected].
        My bill period starts from 20 Mar-15; I recieved messgae from Airtel saying -3G data usage is completed by 459 on 22-Mar-15; and i very much knew never accessed mobile data on my weekends. 459 MB consumed in 2 days with no downloads.
        When i lodged the complaint the customer care person not able to give proper feedback and said the issue will be addressed within 24hrs. Till now i have not recieved any call for this enquiry.
        How come data been can be consumed within 2 days and morever im using mobile data for past 2.5 yrs and knew how to utilise them effectively.
        I need airtel to approach me on this regard; recovery of my loss of data to be provided. Otherwise i will chnage my service provider and request my friends and collegues to avoid airtel in all the cases.

          Airtel — not attending the customer

          Hi!
          this is Rajni Gopi a prepaid airtel user recently means on 31st october i have Filled the postpaid connection form from one of the sales executive Name: Kamini her office is located at Parmar trade center. i had filled my form and paid the needed fee also i had taken a plan of Rs.125/- using the same number but i have converted the same number into postpaid but instead of complaining many times to Kamini she has not yet activated my postpaid connection. Is this the way you solve the problem of the customer. Customers are kept on waiting .
          Kindly look after this immediately.

            Hi,
            Consumer ID [protected]. History Channel no.348 Audio and Video did not sink the audio is playing delay. When i asked regarding in customer care they said since you are using tamil language it will not sink this is the worst answer which i never heard before from any customer care. My neighbour using normal cable connection where the audio and video sink in tamil language, but in airtel dth the audio is playing delay i had same issue in discovery channel as well a year ago i made many complaints and posted in the same forum a guy came and responded it will be fixed but still i face the same issue. DD podigai channel will not come in full screen for this also i called the customer care they are putting us on hold and they are disconnecting the call without any intimation.

            Worst Customer Care (Disconnects the call after the call placed on hold) i faced this issue many times.

            Airtel DTH — DTH Not working Company not responding

            My airtel DTH is not working for last 5 days and the customer service of Airtel is not ready to take any action. Daily I have to call and remind them about the same.

              I am receiving very slow and intermittent wireless broadband services in kandivali Lokhandwala, Mumbai Area. i hear from other users that who use Airtel wireless broad that the speed fluctuates between 600kbps to 0kbps very wildly (stays at 0kbps for most times). I have both Airtel wireless broadband as well as Tata Photon and whenever i have to use skype or other services needing good data flow it is impossible with Airtel. only Photon's services are up to the mark for these uses.

              maine kuch hi dino pehle airtel ka broad band connection[combo plan] liya hai cyber cafe ke liye. mere indore mai 3 cyber cafe aur hai . or ab maine ek or cafe mhow mai open kiya hai. or 2 din ke baad hi mera broad band connection band ho gaya hai. maine yaha ke office mai complain ki[Trishakti tele com.] par vahaa cus. ko pro. bataane ke liye 1/2 hour tak intazaar karna padta hai.vaha ke members din bhar boyfriend se baat hi karti rehti hai. director ne ye kahaa ki connection lena ho to lo nahi to mat lo. na hi hame centrax no. ki facilities di ja rahi hai .
              humaara bahut loss hua hai . humne bhopal bhi baat ki par unhone bhi koi satisfied zavaab nahi diya ...is condition mai hum kya kare?????????

              i am a subscriber of airtel prepaid with number [protected]. airtel without asking...not even making a call activated my hello tune service...took 60 ruppees from my balance... the standard reply at 121 was network in down for 4 hrs...we are sorry! next time in a span of less than 1 month they again activated my hello tune again not asking me... earlier one accoording to them had been activated but there was no hello tune n i was charged without any reason..now i am in deep trouble and have formed a community in my college to try every1 to make forfeit there airtel connection!!!

              I have already complain but till 15 days these problem is not solved by Airtel. So again I am going to launch a complaint against Airtel Company. From Last 15 Days they people have closed my Outgoing & SMS or other services. I have dail call to costumer care, but all Executives are giving no right information. When I talk a Executive, he is call your phone in being start after 4 hrs, but today is after 8 days my phone is not started. then tell me what I do. second think is this that Executives dissconnect phone in talking period. so tell me where I complain.

              apollo wireless broadband — worst service

              Appolo wireless broadband is one of the waste internet service provider in hyderabad. They just are interested and eager in giving a new connection but very poor in providing service to the customers. They will provide a customer service number which once called will not respond to u. U need to keep on calling them till they come to u. I[censored] stop calling, thats it, they will never come(except to take the monthly rental) or even call u. And moreover there is a stupid question they ask u after coming to ur home. "why do u call that many times?". So just dont go for it especially when u need internet everyday.

              Bharti Airtel Broadband Services — Very Bad Customer Service

              Hello,

              I am not able to pay my bills online, through the online facilities provided from Airtel due to some technical issue. I have raised this complaint to Airtel Customer Care refid[protected] about this issue one month back, I have not got any updates or resolution to the problem. Inspite Airtel Billing department calls everday for bill payments reminder.

              Again if I call Airtel Customer care, they say only alternative is to visit the airtel showroom and pay your bill, I am really surprised with the answer then why the hell the online facilities are provided by the company if they cannot maintain the proper service to the same.

              I am really bugged up with the Airtel service.

              AirTel — TERRIBLE BROADBAND SERVICES

              I had applied for a new connection on 14th Jan, 2011. The so-called customer care executive promised that someone would come over or I expected them to respond at least 72 hours later. I called them 15 days later. No effect. Called them 8 days after the 15 days. The loser on the phone hung up. I call them again after 5 min., i was given a complaint number.

              All this only for a new connection! Whoever wants to know how great their support services are.

              Bharti Airtel — Wireless Broadband

              Airtel Broadband is the worst broadband and mobile service provider!!

              I have had a problem even after upgrading to their highest speed connection of 4MBPS and they have consistently provided less than 2MBPS !

              Even after multiple complaints and their visits to my residence they have not provided a resolution to both my broadband problems -
              1. Low speed
              2. Very low signal strength from their wireless router throughout my home.

              Further, the mobile connection of Vodafone is much much better in terms of network coverage as well as call drops. Thanks to Mobile Number Portability, I have initiated the switch on my mobile phone today!

              AirTel — very very very bad customer service

              I (RAHUL GUPTA) was complaind about 25 times in last 2 months to customer care that my mobile no. Does'nt calling to customer care but there is no one to resolve my problem. Every one says that your request is in queue it will take few days to resolve plz wait...

              Bharti Airtel — Very bad customer support

              Airtel customer service and support has become very pathetic.
              Resolution of a problem is a distant story, they do not even bother to respond.

              I had requested for a change of broadband scheme change in June, which increased my bandwidth and also usage limit ( actually unlimited). As a matter of fact, Airtel sales representative had called me with the new scheme and I agreed to the change.
              Existing scheme - 2 MPBS with 4GB free usage and per MB usage after that.
              New sceme - 4 MBPS with 10GB and above 10GB the speed would reduce with no extra charge and this usage would be unlimited.

              But after few days we noticed no change in speed so I called up customer care (got line afte 4-5 tries), the representative said that they had not received any such request but if I want they can take my change request and that it would be effective in the next billing cycle. With nothing to do I accepted (It was around middle June and the next cycle was from 27th June).

              But to our surprise even after 27th June there was no change. Meanwhile Airtel was havning problem with their IT system and I could never speak to any customer support person for a long period of time ( 20 days or more). How can a Telco give an excuse that there system is undergoing upgrade and that there would be minimal customer support.

              Anyway more time passed and I expected that Airtel would definitely take care of this issue and resolve it and accepted that since it was a technical problem and co-operated.

              But the surprise was an email and SMS which informed that my usage limit of 4GB had exceeded and that I would be charged. I started calling customer care and again after lot of effort got their line and informed of this issue. They said my scheme had not changed, to which I told them that it was supposed to be done a long time back, to which they could only say 'sorry sir our system is upgrading and any change cannot be done'. I told her that in that case I should not be penalised and she said that it would be taken care of I need not worry. In the end of billing cycle, there was a huge bill sent to me. Again I tried customer support and finally got to speak to them in end of August around 26th, and the representative told me that my change request was in the queue and it would be effective in October 2011. I was very upset by this time and told them to disconnect my line and I was routed to the cancellation department. There another lady persuaded me with lots of excuses and that their IT system upgradation had created some problem etc. She promised that my scheme would be changed by Aug 27th and charges for my last bills would also be taken care of as it was their fault that they could not change the scheme. I would need to pay only the amount as per my scheme. She further said that if the change does not happen by 27th then I could disconnect the line. I was hopful this time as the representative sounded good.

              But to my surprise nothing happened so I finally sent them an email to disconnect my line to [protected]@airtel.in on 27th August.

              These support guys did not even bother to acknowledge and today ( 2nd Septemnber) these shameless people have sent and SMS with a another big bill amount for internet usage.I sent them a second reminder for disconnection through email today and also mentioned that I would not be responsible for any payment for the said account.

              Please advise as I believe their would be many others who may be suffering a similar experience with Airtel. Airtel has grown in a big way but if they are unable to provide their services in a proper way, then very soon their downfall would start.

              I have used Airtel broadband for last 4 years, no issues; but they also started behaving like other competitors. Very worst support. I am in lot of stress due to their support.

              I have relocated to new place and asked for the re installation Airtel wired broadband connection in Mid of Aug-2011. Customer support promised me that, in two days the connection will be deactivated and someone from Airtel will do a re-installation feasibility in that new location. After eight days, I have decided to go for Data card I can not wait for Airtel any more, because no one called me back from Airtel on those eight days.

              So I have asked for the cancellation of broadband connection; Once I made this request, I have been put on hold for 30 mins, I have really waited for 30 mins, because I have no other choice(Customer in India). They tried to give some offer to retain, but I said no; So I again put on hold for another 10 mins. Then they agreed for cancellation. I have also requested to deactivate the connection as soon as possible, because someone can plug in their device and start using for any illegal things.

              But Till today, the connection is not deactivated and customer support not willng to make new case to deactivate; They just keep updating the existing complaint(cancellation).

              I am really looking to file a case on them, anyone can suggest ?

                The customer service of airtel is going worse day by day . I recharged My BBM PLAN of Rs 129 . I am not able to use my blackberry handset even after being charged for its services. I have lots of work which i have to complete using it which is all pending. I called the customer service of airtel more than 12 times @7070 Blackberry Helpline Number , they told me to wait for 24 hours , i waited , next day they told me the same and gave me a complaint number , its been more than 5 days now , even now when i called they said " Sir you haven't picked our call , now you have to get a new complaint number " . Such a pathetic customer service . I have to recharge 10 rs extra every day to call these frauds and launch a new complain . And wait 121? Please dont waste your time dialing this number . You'll follow the steps and thn a lady says " Hum apki call airtel adhikari ...." etc.. and then they will disconnect the call. You'll be frustrated . They compel us to abuse them . Now i cant even recharge another blackberry plan . It was huge mistake of choosing airtel . I regret it . Airtel i love your broadband service , but being such a loyal customer with u what do i get..??? such pathetic customer service is not expected.

                Airtel — Recharge now being activated

                Hi,

                I seriously want some one to hear to my problem. I dont know why Airtel has become such a bad service these days.

                On 2nd October 07, I did a e-Recharge of Rs.11 for the sms package. Until now my sms package hasn't been activated.
                I have been calling customer care several times, just to ask what the problem is. But no one answers me. They say they are forwarding my complain and wait for 48 hours.

                Since calling customer care wasn't useful...it was rude of customer care actually, so I went personally to the customer care on FC road.
                They said they haven't received any mail from Airtel and hence cant do anything about it. They suggested to go to Swargate branch.

                Does cusotmer of Airtel has any value? Why doesn't airtel feel shame about it?
                I am sorry, but I m too much hurt about the way airtel is behaving.
                Should I convience myself that Airtel has grabed my money for free and just forget about it?

                From last 6 months i got messege from AD-54321 that "you have been renewed for movie zone subscription service from airtel.You have been charged Rs.15."
                So my question is that how any service provider can compel the customer for there services.

                Sir/Madam Last Friday 25 feb 2011 (19:17) recharge with Rs.34 (This is the Msg recharge we find 340 local Msg in this recharge) by the TransID [protected] on my mobile no.[protected], Sir/Madam after of this recharge continuesly amount cut by my account, Sir/Madam after of this I complaint in customer care with the complaint no: CBNRA[protected] at 26/2/2011 (09:16).I recived the customer care call on Thursday and I told him sir please activate my service on my phone (which is I recharged on 25/2/2011) and refund my amount which is cut from my account. Then your executive tell me I activate you service on your number.
                Sir/Madam, but your executive does not taken any action against my complaint. After the all of these I retry the msg on 4/03/2011 on my other number [protected] at 4:10am again cut the balance from my account then I call costumer care 07:42 this time you executive tell me your service activated please check again. I check again at 07:51 and sorry to say again cut balance from my account, then I register one mere complaint (CBNRA[protected]).
                So please take action on my complaint as soon as possible, I am highly Obliged.

                Airtel Bharati Limited — Pathetic Customer service & Recharge Failure

                Hi,

                I am using Bharati Airtel Prepaid handset since more than 2 years now, My number with airtel is [protected],
                I did a online recharge by using Citibank Debit card, I got the confirmation that the funds transferred to Airtel acct, However the balance was not added,
                My dissatisfaction started when i called up the contact sentre of Air, Oh god it was pathetic , I first speak to the advisor they said that i need to go to Airtel Gallery with my stmt to get that recharge, However it was 20:00 hrs as a result i cannot send some one, I told them that i am in hospital & need this phone for tonight, Since i have done the recharge you can top up my acct from backend so that i can use my phone, Forget abt the top up they all were playing with my emotions,
                I asked fro sup, He transfer the call to another advisor called govind He was useless & kept repeating the same thing, Ithen asked fro 3rd level esc he didnot kept me on hold nor mute for almost 10 minutes & then a man called Sachin Jadhav who said that he was a TL, Good for nothing, I asked for 4th Level Escalation the Meher Kazi Sr team leader spoke to me & arranged a callback from her manager, However her manager never called me back,
                Trust me guys it feels that these poeple are like making fun of ourselves, After an Hours i felt pathetic to followup with them for Rs:100

                This is not first time that is happening to me, Had happened 5th time & now its over my tolerance level, Airtel, Please change your incapable people & system

                  I purchased Airtel DTH HD+ on Friday 19th April 2013 by ordering online . I was also given link to pay amount immediately . I was told installation and activation would be done by 24-72 Hours . On Monday 21-Apr-2013 it was installed and I was told activation would be done in 24 hours by customercare .

                  Til today {25April-2013} it is not getting activated . I am being following up with customercare and Nodal office regularly and I am being given always false promises saying within 1 hour it would be activated . Within half an hour it would be activated . They are not able to fix issue on stipulated time but giving false promises .

                  Customer care is pathetic center where to get person on call need to wait 5 minutes and immediately they put on hold for another 5 minutes and they disconnect immediately .

                  Nodal office is one more group of junk people who don't even bother to check and follow up the issue they are more pathetic than customer care .

                  Friends , Please don't buy AIRTEL DTH and stay way , I am using other airtel products for which I don't have complaint but Airtel DTH just SUCKS money, time and peace of Mind . Go for other service provider .

                    Hello,

                    I have been going from pillar to post from last one year till date to keep calling on CUSTOMER CARE NUMBERS and Airtel Staff ( REF # 44536063, F[protected], F[protected]) for problems faced on my MOBILE #`s [protected], [protected] for MOBILE NETWORK CONNECTIVITY issue . Everybody after listening for 10 minutes reverts back with a response that the issue has been taken up to a higher management and will be resolved soon and as such no action has been done and my mobile connectivity is almost dead. With repeated requests about eight times on a customer care line, an AIRTEL executive visited my place on 5th July 2012 and reviewed the situation and recommended for a booster set up without which the connectivity issues cannot be resolved. He was himself faced with a Call Drop/Call Lost problem several times while at my site which I have been suffering from last 2 months. I was promised that issue will be arrested soon and a booster device will be installed within a week`s time from the time of his visit which never happened and almost after 8 months the device was fixed and despite of this the issue remained persistent and while further follow ups were done not even a single executive either called back or handled my problem.

                    Pls note I have been a corporate customer for AIRTEL from Last 9 years and despite all the follow ups and continuous calling and mails to Mr. Sunil Mittal and their CEO Mr. Gopal Vittal aswell as Nodal Cell,I have been meted with this worst kind of treatment which was never expected and never imagined that a brand like AIRTEL would be doing such things with corporate customers leave aside a common consumer. I don`t expect this kind of treatment and also the level of customer care process which has been placed by their office.


                    In brief I have shifted my residence about eight months back and have been getting very poor signals while working from my new house. Either signal strength shows just about 1 or 2 levels or suddenly gets wiped out and ultimately disconnected which harass my work big way . Moreover even being on postpaid 3G corporate and than buying a 4G aswell with a seperate connectionit always shows a poor connectivity and hence the call drops or call gets lost in middle of conversation almost all the time and that too when the network shows some signal strength. Most the time signal shows an SOS connectivity on my blackberry and also no signal under 4G connection.

                    I`m looking forward for an immediate solution on the same and as I have got no response of my phone calls and repeated reminders pls treat this mail as URGENT ATTENTION.

                    I am having a mail trail of last one year which I have been sending to Airtel entire team and there is no response.Can`t attach the PST file here and let me know if you need any further information.

                      I have a airtel digitalTV HD (AirtelDTH) recording box. One fine day the recording stopped working. The engineer came and told they need to replace the box. It has been close to one month and every day the people at airtel are telling “it will be done today”. Are these guys from other planet? Their today is so long?

                      Some times they ask me to insert a 4gb+ storage in the box. If i was supposed to do that then why did I pay so much for the box?

                      Another time they told I have to pay 25Rs extra per month to record. This is cheating.

                      A lot of times the customer care executive pick up call and disconnect. One day I called these ppl 13 times. This is mental harrshment.

                      What I infer from this behavior is that they are waiting for my warranty to get over. Because in that case I will have to pay 750Rs extra for the replacement. Airtel is getting converted to a cheat store. One time they even closed my complain. I had to raise a new one.

                      Every day they call and ask the same questions, like what is the problem? Do I really need to tell the problem every day? Or airtel expects more problem with the digital box? Such a buggy box?
                      Every day they promise that the issue will be resolved that day.
                      I was also thinking of taking airtel braodband, thank god i did not take it. Previously the service of airtel was very good. But now a days its pathetic. The local cable guy gives response in 2-3 days for major issues. But airtel 2-3 weeks(Well its been more right now for me). Now i got the reason why no one in this building took airtel digitalTV except me.

                      Well 10.53 AM they called and told they will call me back in 1 hour. Now it is 2PM. So as per airtel one hour is not yet over.
                      They just call you to mentally harass.

                      Airtel DTH — mental harassment by engineers and not resolving the complaint

                      The Cable was not functioning, so i launched a complaint in call center. I received Service request no. 2588457 for video problem on 12:04pm on 30-04-10. And received no engineer. I was surprised to receive their message on 1-05-10 that the problem has been resolved. After my repeated calls (2 or 3 )to the call centre my complain was again placed(no. 2594742) i received an engineer on 2-05-10, who informed me the cable is damaged. I was informed that the cable was not installed properly. No clips were used and it was left hanging down which caused the wear and tear.
                      He harassed me to get the wire from the market as if it was my job. So I called back to call center, who gave me assurance and asked the engineer to get the wire from the company and fix the problem. they also assured me i need to pay no charges for the wrong installation by engineer.
                      But the engineer i received in the evening misbehaved. He brought no wire as he was asked. also he told me to sue to consumer court, as he was also fed up with the company. Anyways my problem was unresolved.
                      But next day i again received the message that the problem has been resolved. So finally i launched complaint against engineers. i was given reference no. but the complaint is still unresolved.

                      My name is Kishore. My outgoing calls have been barred 3 days ago. Some of the customer care person suggest me to submitted the documents once again. I have submitted the documents once again immediately. after 3 days when i called to customer care, they are just escaping telling that documents have not recieve. Negligence is clearly seen in Airtel people and executives, They just come with marketing skills but not satisfying the customer. Customer satisfaction is clearly not seen in Airtel as it of service industory ,

                      Could any of executive from airtel, please take intiative and reslove my issue.

                        This is to inform you that I had submitted a letter to AIRTEL Customer Care Division on 11 April 2013 and requested for disconnection of service. Since then I have received innumerable calls from their customer care division nagging me not to discontinue the service. I don't have so much time to speak at length to the executives daily to refuse the plan to continue.

                        Now though the number is not working any more, two of their MALE executives are hounding my residence at any hour to meet me (even late night), and tormenting my old parents so much that they are getting agitated (they have sugar, their BP is rising/ falling). What is this? My parents are being insulted that I have defaulted in paying my bill, but the due date for my last bill is 1st May. Who gave these men the right to trouble my parents and create disruption in my personal life just because I had availed AIRTEL postpaid service, and now am discontinuing it?

                        This should not have been the case - they still have my deposit amount of INR 300, which I was told shall be refunded to me the day I submit the disconnection request letter (at the time of taking the number) but now I am being told differently by different executives - 6 weeks, 60 days, 6 months etc. It is utterly confusing and disgusting.

                        Furthermore, all my relatives and friends availing AIRTEL post-paid service are stunned at the proceedings, and they too are planning to discontinue. Additionally, my husband, my parents, and myself have multiple AIRTEL connections, and shall discontinue all if this torture of hounding home to torment two senior citizens continue.

                        Moreover, with this history I am sure AIRTEL will never return the deposit amount of INR 300. Finally, due to family situation created by their men in the last few days, I am not in a position to pay the last bill anymore. I have e-mailed and request them to adjust it with the deposit because my bill is less than the deposit. I ALSO REQUEST THEM TO CONFIRM BY E-MAIL REGARDING THE ADJUSTMENT AND THAT I NEED NOT PAY THE LAST BILL ANYMORE AND MOST IMPORTANTLY NO MEN WILL BE SEND TO MY RESIDENCE TO BULLY EITHER ME OR MY PARENTS.

                          AirTel — Inflated Bill

                          Hi,

                          I have been complaining about inflated bills for past few bills. They have raised the bill of the time period when no one was at home. I am complaining every day, no one seems to be interested in understanding the problem. I was charged for the period, when i have requested for shifting. They dont even block the number during the time period. My bill used to come in the range of Rs. 1300.00 - Rs. 1400.00 per month. All of sudden it went beyond Rs. 4000.00 per month and next month it went upto Rs. 8588.00 I have been complaining to airtel for long time, no one is ready to listen to me. The strangest part is that they have raised the bill for the period for which no one was at home. I am not sure, what is wrong but there is definitely something wrong.

                          Customer Care team and billing team never listens to customers and they dont understand any thing. I have written to nodal offices too, and that didnt even solve the purpose.

                                As per them i have register as a cug connection, but i 5-6 times went to airtel center and requested to stop my cug plan and they every time said that now they have stop that service from my account.

                                AirTel — Portability Issues

                                I had a prepaid mobile connection [protected] with Tata Docomo on my name.I submitted a portability request to airtel was given on 08/03/2011.The request was processed on 21 Mar 2011.Four days have passed now and i am unable to make/receive any calls from my number.the services to my number haven't been given till now.

                                Calling the customer care and complaint no. of 121 and 198 has not resulted in no help as the customer care representatives are helpless and clueless about the same.Even repeated mails to the customer care haven't drawn any response from the company.

                                While availing the service a time gap of only 5 hrs was asked by the company ,I would like to know whether this can be taken as misleading the customer and whether the company is responsible for the emotional distress and the financial losses i have incurred due to the same.

                                    I, Rajesh Hira, shifted to Airtel from MTS 2 - 3 weeks back. While purchasing the 3G Net connection - dongle, the DSA representatives gave me lucrative offer and good service due to which I assumed that Customer Service provided by Airtel must be one of the best. The connection was working absolutely fine till a 8 - 10 days after purchasing the connection, I received an SMS alert which asked me to pay Rs. 1500 to enjoy continuous services. According to the SMS, I had exceeded my credit limit. This was highly impossible because my usage is not more than 2 GB and therefore, I had opted for 2 GB in Rs. 450 plan. Therefore, I called the Customer Service. The CSR told me that I should ignore these SMSes and should make the payment once the bill is generated. He also told me that I should pay whatever amount is mentioned in the 'to-be-generated' bill. The matter ended there.

                                    After a few days, I got another call from Airtel asking where I would like to receive my 3G internet bills. I made it very clear to them that alongwith a hard copy of the bill (to be sent to my residential address - which was verified by the CSR), I need an e-bill (soft copy) to be sent to my Gmail ID. The CSR verified my Gmail ID as well and assured me that I would receive a hard copy as well as soft copy of the bill.

                                    Now, again, after a week or so, I received an SMS at around 11.30 PM on Tues, Apr 23 saying that I should deposit Rs. 1500 within 24 hours. Otherwise, Airtel will discontinue my services. I called up Customer Service for clarification and the CSR told me that I have to pay Rs. 555 only within 24 hours and that my net connection WILL NOT BE deactivated within this timeframe.

                                    This was a bit strange for me because I neither received a hard copy nor a soft copy of the bill and just received this SMS out of nowhere.

                                    On Wed, Apr 24, my net was disconnected at around 8.455 AM (Airtel didnt even wait for 24 hours as they mentioned in their SMS). I went to the gallery at around 1 PM and paid Rs. 555 (as told by the Customer Service rep the previous day). I have the receipt of this payment made at the gallery. The girl at the help desk asked me to call 888 to reactivate my internet service. I contacted 888 from the gallery itself and the female who answered my call, gave me a confirmation of the payment made by me and assured me that the connection will be reactivated in the next 4 hours.

                                    I waited till 6 PM but no progress. Therefore, I contacted Customer Service again. From here on, Airtel guys started throwing me like a soccer ball from one department to other department just like government offices do. But, not one person from any of these departments showed that they have been trained to provide the best Customer Service and to resolve customer's issues ASAP. From their conversations and attitudes, it seemed that they just care about their salaries and they are not even bothered to retain a new customer. After several attempts (bouncing from one dept to another), I spoke with Deepak and again, he confirmed the payment credited and assured me that the connection will be reactivated in the next 30 minutes. No progress in 30 minutes as well. I contacted Customer Service again and this time, Deepak answered my call again. He gave me a deadline of 30 minutes (AGAIN!!!). NO PROGESS IN THE NEXT 30 MINUTES AS WELL.


                                    By then, I was completely exhausted and tried contacting the LAZY Customer service once again. This call was the worst call of my life because the CSR, without even checking my account details, gave me a random, exorbitant figure of Rs. 8000+ as the outstanding amount. The CSR's name is Sautik. I felt numb after he gave me this figure because in my entire life, till date, I havent used Net connection worth Rs. 8000+. When I started screaming at the top of my voice, the CSR checked the facts and agreed that Rs. 8000+ is not my outstanding amount and he also confirmed the payment credit of Rs. 555. I am planning to sue this guy Sautik - being in Customer Service, he is not supposed to give incorrect information to the customer. If he is unable to use his process knowledge properly then he is supposed to transfer to the call to his direct higher-ups, however, he CANNOT give (COMPLETELY) incorrect information to a customer. He gave me a 4 hours deadline again.

                                    It is 9.07 PM now and the net connection is still not on. I have lost all hopes now but I request all the other consumers in this forum to highlight such issues openly more often so that others dont suffer.

                                    I had never used Airtel in the past and this was my first experience with Airtel. This is the first time I am bad mouthing an internet service provider. I have used Vodafone and MTS in the past and their Customer Service and other services are not that bad compared to Airtel. The guys from Customer Service who DID NOT HELP ME AT ALL are providing services on behalf of Airtel which means Airtel should take the accountability of the information provided by the agents. Airtel should know what kind of people it is hiring when it is dealing with millions of customers.

                                    This type of service has spoiled Airtel's image and I will never EVER recommend anyone to opt for Airtel services.

                                    Airtel CANNOT go out of the way to help its customers. Therefore, STAY AWAY from Airtel. It is nothing but a SCAM.

                                    NOTE: Since yesterday, I have requested the Customer Service to send me an e-bill zillions of times, however, they seem to be ignorant and not sure of how they can send an e-bill to a customer. If I would have been in your place, I would have simply verified the customer's e-mail ID and sent him/her a soft copy instead of harassing the already frustrated customer. Still, I have done my duty of paying the bill without even getting one. DOESNT THAT SOUND FUNNY???

                                    Naam bade or Darshan Chote guys. Everybody can earn but only a few manage to provide top quality service. You are from 'make the money and chuck the customer' category.

                                    Airtel Mobile Services — fraud / worst services

                                    I am having a mobile no. [protected] which was earlier a BSNL no.. I have ported in AIRtel, and at the time they assured me good services but once I ported in to Airtel they started harrasment, I have made complaint so many times about the diffrent issues, AT PRESENT FOR NO REASONS MY MOBILE IS NOT WORKING SINCE LAST 24 HRS. AND THE MESSAGE SHOWING SIM CARD REGISTRATION FAILED, IMADE COMPLAINT ONCE AGAIN BUT TO NO RESPONSE.
                                    I WANTED TO PORT BACK TO OTHER SERVICE PROVIDER BUT THEY DO NOT PERMITS IT BEFORE 3 MONTHS.
                                    AIRTEL IS THE WORST SERVICE PROVIDER IN INDIA, I HAVE EVER SEEN, DO NOT BUY AIRTEL

                                      I G.virinchi requested for an airtel broadband connection through just dial.One of the sales executive reached my place and took on the details.He had first told me that they can provide me connection here and told that i have to pay 500rs as an advance amount and 50rs towards rental agreement and i have given immediately the said amount of 550 Rs and with in couple of minutes he returned me 500rs and took with him 50rs for the preparation of rental agreement.I donno why he had done all this and he told that he would once again verify that whether connection is possible or not in my locality.The second day another executive reached and told me that connection is possible to give in my place and he charged from me 500rs and gave me a customer enrollment form.the number is 470055.After few days the technician reached the place and told me that connection is not possible and amount of 500rs would be mailed to your place via Cheque,As told by him i received the cheque amount.Then what about the amount of Rs 50?.In this way the executives of so called AIRTEL company are collecting the amount in so other form by providing false information.I do not understand in this way the company is making their executives trained.I have been calling the customer care and lodging a complaint against their executives even providing their details with mobile numbers.But no action is being taken and i dint receive any answer from them regarding the amount of 50 RS.This whole process is on the way since 1month.

                                      i have no airtel connection now but why do i give them a single rupee nor they should return my amount they charged for whatever cause they took.I hope this complaint would reach to higher officials of the Airtel company.I do not understand,are these executives trained up to do so?

                                      Finally i could say the procedure of selling Airtel broadband connection is completely misleading.They should charge from the customer only after providing the connection.Collecting amount then techinician coming telling that service cannot be given due to technical problems.Again refunding amount through cheque.All this nonsense is only to waste customers valuable time.
