hello sir,

I am Samir Patel.I am using airtel prepaid card PH No:-[protected].I have already registered DND service(DND registration no:-w[protected]) still i get advertisement call from [protected]. This is the advertisement call from Government farming related fums.Today also it comes at (Date 13 September time 7:07am & other calls 13 september 9:40 am). I already complaint this in airtel 7 to 8 times and i am suffering withi this since last 7 months. It's very headache for me to handle it.

    Airtel — Too many complaints,

    Hi,

    I am have too many issues with Airtel.

    When I contact the call centre I am getting this message - Invalid Mobile number,
    This is no way to contact the contact customer care,
    Disconnected but still charging the credit card,
    Callers are getting a message saying mobile is switched off etc.

    There is no responsible desk in the company which can sort out the problems. It is very frustrating to deal with Airtel.

    I will never recommend to anyone.

    Airtel — Too many messages

    Hello,
    I had been receiving too many messages from Airtel and most of these messages twice or thrice! Like today I received Super value minute packs from 'Airtel' 4 times and Recharge with RC 30 from 'RC 30FTT' 4 times! And the last message I received (something about love songs) was at 9:55pm from 'Airtel Special'! What should I do to stop getting any messages on my mobile? I sent 'START DND' to 1909 on 11/02/2011. But I did not receive any acknowledgement message for this. I think I have sent this message before also from my mobile but with no response!
    Atleast can you reduce the number of messages you sent to my mobile (only 1 message of a kind please!) if you cannot refrain from sending messages to your customers. My mobile number is [protected].

      We bought an Airtel 4G connection in June this year (sim no. [protected]). Though the modem was exorbitantly priced at 7750 we purchased it as we were refused a landline connection by Airtel. No doubt it is a business tactic to sell their useless 4 G connections. It took a consumer forum complaint for Airtel to actually get the connection up and running. There is absolutely no customer service as complaints are generated and not even any phone calls are made to follow up. No field visits have been arranged so far despite numerous complaints from my end. The most recent complaint dated 10 sep complaint no 45839240 has found predictably no response from their side. Currently I am getting a speed of 20 KBPS for four consecutive days. Airtel promises 128 KBPS in all its promotions when your free usage expires. Already a speed of 128 is unheard of even in BSNL connections. Finally on reaching the airtel office where we purchased the connection we were first advised to physically bring the modem to their showroom for checking and on our objection we were told that the speed varies and in south Bangalore we will receive a maximum of 20 KBPS only. I have a very strong case for consumer court and am strongly contemplating pursuing it. I Would definitley wish to return this exorbitantly priced mistake and advise everyone to stay away from this extremely pricey and worthless 4G connection. Believe me BSNL is way better.

        AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE NO.121 LIKE THAT OF ANY OTHER CUSTOMER CARE IS PUNISHMENT TO THE CALLER. iT IS JUST A WASTE FACILITY IMPOSED ON GULLIBLE PUBLIC TO CAUSE FURTHER AGONY.

        I PURCHASED TWO SIMS RECENTLY NOS.[protected] & [protected]. WHEN I RECHARGED THE BALANCE BEING SYSTEMATICALLY CUT BY THE COMPANY FOR NONSENSICAL 'MOVIE GYAN", SOME MONEY DEDUCTING MESSAGES ETC.

        INSPITE OF SENDING REQUEST MESSAGES TO 121 TO STOP DEDUCTING MONEY AND STOP SENDING MESSAGES, NO USE. THE KIND OF SERVICE 'PRE RECORDED ONE WITH ALL OPTIONS UNDER THE SUN' KEEPS INCREASING THE BLOOD PRESSURE AND THIS IS THE STAGE THE CELL / TELECOMMUNICATIONS COMPANIES WANT FOR EVERY CUSTOMER OF THEIR INHUMAN SERVICE.

        I DONT KNOW HOW TO COPE IN INDIA WITH THIS KIND OF LOOTERS AROUND. IF WE ARE NOT ALERT, MONEY IS LOOTED.

        IS THERE ANY SOLUTION OTHER THAN STOP USING THIS INHUMAN SERVICE ?

        IS THERE ANY BODY TO CONTROL THIS UGLY LOOTING "?

        IF SO, PLEASE CHECK THESE COMPANIES.

        I was given a credit of Rs.14.80 for a recharge of Rs.20/- . A whopping 26% as tax and service charge ?

            Saw 3G plan "StdPlan295" which is Rs. 125/- with 3600 min of 3G time. Considering a good bargain, recharged it and instead of this plan, I got A2A 275 minutes with 7 days of validity. Tried contacting customer care, but IVR will not allow. Tried "Contact Us" link in website which is throwing up some error. Appalled with the kind of service offered by largest telecom service provider in India. Not sure how many customers have been fleeced by Airtel and then denied customer support service.

            No one, in right sense, would go for A2A 275 minutes for Rs. 125/- when there are so many 1p/2s plans available. Not sure how the get the money back or get the right 3G plan in absence of customer support.

            Recharged with Airtel for Mob. [protected] for Rs 125 for 3600 3G minutes but instead, was given 275 A2A minutes which is of no use to me. On top of that, on contacting customer care, they refused to help in this case and disconnected the call twice. On contacting third time, IVR did not allow to speak with customer care. Finally made complaint at Airtel presence with complaint no. PR[protected], but so far nothing has been done.

            I'm surprised that they advertise one thing and provide. And when you raise this with customer care, they simply disconnect the call and deny you further contact with them.

            Appalled at the quality of service provided by them. As if they are interested only to add customers and when something goes wrong, simply bury their head under sand.

              i have airtel prepaid connection last3,4year i have a one paisa scheme that sceame a every night after 12.a.m reduct a 2 rupee but 05/12/2007 night my every local sms 1rupee and 2rupee also reduct i m many times compaint in airtel executive but every employee not sort out my problem Ist time i m complaint in 14/12/2007 n employee agree with me and said to me mam your problem sort out soon but not respons any airtel company and i m IInd time comlaint and i m talk to Mr. Nitin his a senior executive his aceept the problem as its and his said to me your rupee refund in 48 hours but my problem as its i m many time comnlaint but every employee says to me mam your problem soon sort out but i have reduct my 1000 rupee but i m pronblem not sort out i m move court soon
              i will go to the court soon because my problem not sort out and will every employee about my comlaint i will see in a court

              Respected Sir I am using Airtel pre paid connection.I got SMS from the Airtel that I can make friends and I can chat wtih them.They asked me to save the settings,but I deleted the setting and I send replay to the I dont need this sevics ...The next day I got SMS says that I amsubscribed.I am suprised They dedecuted 30/-Rs from my credit.The same day again I sens message to the stop the cutting and now the second month again they deducted 30/-Rs.I need to take action aganst this cheeting.

              Airtel — Unnecessary cutting of money

              Airtel is cutting Rs:1/day for service called S Mono Subscription renew service. I have checked their website and nothing was there in that as well. It is mere cheating from Airtel.                 I have recharged my airtel prepaid([protected]) for Rs.100 and Rs.36 for sms booster pack on 11-09-12, but rs 36 has been deducted from my account since my previous plan was in auto renewal, my question is when i have already recharged for my sms pack, hwo can deduct the money from my main balance,

                Is airtel looking to take money from every possible way it can?
                We both know that the amount taken for the pack, is Rs,72 instead of 36 for one month,, what solution does airtel gives to me,, Put the blame on me as the airtel customer care executive does,, I can see it happening to many people, this autorenewal pack sucks,,

                AirTel — Auto Subscription of SMS

                Hi,

                I am prepaid mobile customer of Airtel. I have been receiving unwated SMS alerts of cricket - Airtel has subscribed me for World Cup series without asking me and i am being charged for the same. My number is [protected]

                I have heard of the same issue with one friend of mine. How do we get our money back? and how do we stop them from doing the same in future?

                Bharti Airtel Ltd — Auto Subscription on Prepaid Numbers

                I have a Prepaid Number from Airtel which is [protected]. Off late it seems to shore up their sagging revenue Airtel has started resorting to the practice of automatically subscribing the prepaid numbers of their customers to their so called value added services. They automatically subscribe a number to a value added service and send a message to the number about the subscription. Then it is left to you to somehow contact their customer service officers (who are never available) and unsubscribe. If you are able to approach them they would conveniently tell you that its you who had subscribed to the service.
                Three days back they automatically subscribed my number to the World Cup cricket update service which is charged one rupee per day. When I contacted a customer service representative today, the bugger told me that I had subscribed to it three days back and he can only unsubscribe me from it. When I asked him to, he did something at his end, and confirmed that he has unsubscribed. I asked him how would I know, he said that I would get a message. That message never came but I continued getting the world cup updates. What takes the cake is a song from Dabang got automatically activated as a hello tune on my number for which Rs30 were deducted. Immediately after that the hello tune got automatically changed to a third grade song (I got a message for the same) for which Rs.15 got deducted.
                When I contacted the customer service representative, he conveniently put me on hold and disappeared. This company is slowly turning into a bunch of crooks out to fleece its customers.

                  Airtel- one of the rising mobile communication companies of India has developed a scheme to “LOOT” public money. The “Auto Renewal System” in which they will activate a certain scheme after a certain period without even notifying you about it. They have this system for SMS pack, Internet Pack and what not because they think public money is not a concern for public.
                  Once you recharge any of this scheme of SMS or Internet that means “watch out” because you have endorsed a curse of “Looted “by this Respected company. Yes, they will not inform you with any honesty that “Hello we are deducting your balance.” In fact, after deducting your balance they would popped you up with a message that “Your SMS PACK or bla bla bla has been renewed, to deactivate it please dial *777*0#”. But don’t be happy because your money is gone and now they won’t return it even you fight in courts. And then you knock on the customer care’s door to speak your complain. But the Respectful, Big -hearted, Honest, absolutely saints dressed in the form of Customer care to help us will say, “This system is for all the airtel customers. And we do send you message for deactivating. Now you have 1500 message, utilize it.” Wow! Utilize it- they know this suggestion better because they are utilizing public money to turn their turn over. And after this vain call to Respected “Coat-Suit” people in Airtel, you think lets utilize these message and a day before auto-renewal I will deactivate the AUTO- Renewal System. But days passed and as nobody have too much time to think about this deactivation thing, again after certain elapsing time they renew your scheme again, and “YOU LAUGH LOOKING AT THE MESSAGE which says “to deactivate dial *777*0#”. With due RESPECT to AIRTEL and ALL THOSE SITTING on for customer care service to us- grandly salute you. Keep looting. Thank you.

                  i got recharge my mobile for messages of rs. 62/- in last month. that completed by yesterday on[protected]. from today morning when I message to family person there was no auto renew of that plan from airtel company and serivice provider deducted the charge for my all messages in the morning therefore I have to got it recharged from retail shop in our campus at Indian Institute of technology, kanpur. but in afternoon company also deducted balance for auto renew of the message plan. but my point is this if my number was on auto renew plan then why they deducted money in the morning for messages and not my number got renew just after the expiry of previous one. why it took time of 14hrs to do renew. this is the company fault. if i had not recharged earlier than how can i do message for the time until they renew it. and why they did not inform me that it will take 14 hrs to renew automatically.
                  therefore I want refund my deducted amount with the penalty on the firm. for this I can pay any thing.

                  I recharged my account with Rs 36 booster valid for 30 days. On recharge it informed me that it is a autorenewal pack . To deactivate i should dial *333*0# . But it is not working . It is responding that it is an invalid number.

                  I have 3G airtel pack & set for auto renewal . Yday data limit over I have kept sufficient balance in main account considering that as soon as data over it will be auto renewed . But I have lost 230 Rs. but nothing has happen . after talking to customer care she explaining for auto renewal is only after validity date not on data limit . This shows clarity in system & seriousness with customer money . I have only seen video of 8mb with Rs. 230 .

                    We are residents of Vijay Nagar, Narela, Delhi -110040, Near Aggarwal Nuring Home, we would like to file a complaint against an illegal mobile tower (Airtel or Tata communication) installed at our street in H.No. U-88, Vijay Nagar, Narela, Delhi. The tower was installed without any permission from residents & it is effecting health of our children & seniors near by & in the building itself.

                    In addition to above, I would also like to highlight the effect of electromagnetic radiations being emitted from the mobile tower which is a big health hazard for the people living in the vicinity of the tower area. We are posed with serious health threat and death due to diseases like brain tumor and cancer from the radiations of this tower and so are others nearby. It is a crowded area, very vulnerable and has a lot of children around along with a nursing home.

                    The landlord of the particular house is not ready to remove & discontinue his agreement with the mobile company only for the sake of money.

                    We are requested to please take a strict action & seal the tower for the sake of our health & environment.

                      Some one called me and said he is ready to settle the amount for 800/- rs , so i paid it online and he said he will send a settlement letter in 2 days, which i never received.

                      Now again i received a call statiing to pay 1100/- rs, so i need a clarification why should i pay for which i never used.

                        My situation is even worse. I didn't get even a single internet minute.

                        Saw 3G plan "StdPlan295" which is Rs. 125/- with 3600 min of 3G time. Considering a good bargain, recharged it and instead of this plan, I got A2A 275 minutes with 7 days of validity. Tried contacting customer care, but IVR will not allow. Tried "Contact Us" link in website which is throwing up some error. Appalled with the kind of service offered by largest telecom service provider in India. Not sure how many customers have been fleeced by Airtel and then denied customer support service.

                        No one, in right sense, would go for A2A 275 minutes for Rs. 125/- when there are so many 1p/2s plans available. Not sure how the get the money back or get the right 3G plan in absence of customer support.

                        Considering I'm not alone, it seems they have made this as their business practice of advertising something and delivering something else.

                          Sorry to say but in current time it’s true. Dear Nodal office it’s my bad luck that I am Using M/S Airtel IPTV, Broad Band & Fixed line services. Now I am sharing my complaint to you. I was facing the problem in my Broad band (When I am going to download any file or opening heavy graphic side need refresh it 1-2 time and then I am to browse it)and from August end and September beginning its showing above error many time and finally on 1st September 2012 I had raise a complain at 198 helpline and same day your technical person visited at my home and told that my exiting ADSL Wi-Fi Modem model number 450 TXI is faulty so I need to purchase a new modem same time I had given him the another modem model number beetel 450 BXI and I was surprised to hear that he don’t the setup a setting of that modem and he go away from my home after that I had made many complain to your 198 complaint center and every time I found that it was closed by your engineer or your back hand but issued not resolved.
                          As per my knowledge you are beaching the Customer trust under and it come under legal offense I.P.C. Section 405, Consumer protection Act 1981 and in last I can also take the step under IPC 420 & 421.
                          Now you tell me what action I need to take against you because you have given to Metal harassment.

                              With due respct to all .,I would like to bring to ur kind notice tht being such a longtime & loyal customer to airtel...i was mislead by the entire airtel services providers... its highly disgracefull & insulting for my own dignity..it started frm the month of may 2012 wherein i had called the cust care ppl seeking help in terms of roaming plan coz i was gng to out of to sm othr state fr roaming...i was told abt the plan 225 whc is going to b the best plan for roaming including messags in less rate as asked..i agreed to get into tht plan..after i came out of kol..i paid my frst bill after being on roaming whic was of rs 746..next month i gt a bill of rs 4393,...i called cust care asking why ths bill is so high..it was told to me very rudely tht itw as bcoz the plan was chnaged....to a normal plan..i told them i nvr authorised anyone to chnage my plan wen m still in romaing & which made the bill so high to tht extent..i wanted to speak to a manager...they said managers busy will call within 2 hrs..i gv my alt no...no body called...i called back again..thr was again a confirmation agan to me tht the manager will call bcak...no one called..i kept calling the cust care...no proper resp..now in sept..i hv gt an info tht these ppl hv approached my home harasing my parents stating abt the money..i spoke to the tht person who made me speak to the manager..i hv tried expalining but the manager was only concrened abt the payment frm me, was only stressing on tht..not ready to realise tht wht i hv gone thru...today seeing to all this problems which i was nt able to take anymore..i agreed to pay teh roaming charges for rs 6742....& required fr a written conformation frm them...which after so much of talks i gt....i paid n gt the reference no fr payment..its really sad tht these kind of service providers are cheating..pls pls pls dnt trust these ppl evr in life..& request to take any proper action against them...

                              I am having the broadband connection and landline connection[protected] in the name of my wife priyambada, I am using this of more than 1 yr but from the last some months i am facing some problems with airtel,around 2 months back there was some modem problem register the complaint, executive came and said yr modem is not working so we have to replace it by evening i said ok and than after 1 or 2 days later he came with a another repaired modem i told him why ur installing repaired modem why not u replace with new one even i am ready to pay for it he said we don’t have any policy to replace with new modem, he installed the repaired one, but after some time i face same problem with modem,I tried his no but i hvt rec any response, because of this i stopped the payment of airtel and decided to disconnet my connection the outstanding amount was around 1560/-because of this airtel barred my net connectin and outging of my lanline ,on may 24th 2011 i received a call from one gentlemen saying that he is calling the
                              airtel collection center and offering the comeback option if i paid 1000 Rs than they will discount
                              565 Rs and my connection will be active said ok not a problem, he said i can send the recovery boy he will collect the money,i said not required i will pay online from my bank a/c , and i paid 1000/- from my a/c,but still i am receiving the calls and sms to pay the balance Rs-565 ..

                              complaint No 2- i register the request on 28-05-11 request no 46984028,stating that around 18-20 days airtel barred my net and landline services kindly deduct the bill amount which i have to pay on june 2011.Still its unsolved.

                                Using Airtel DTH is very very Bad experience for me. Airtel DTH and other Associates are cheating customers. Due to my past experience, from Last One year I was not using Airtel. On 10 days back I received call from [protected], 411. ( Fraud, Cheater, & Crooks ) They told me that if I recharge my DTH with 1250.00 They will provide me one Year validity with more than 185 channel. They called me more than 5- 6 times. and insist me lot. On there requested I recharged my airtel DTH 15 days back using my icici credit card . But till date I have not received any validity. They are not picking my phone and not responding to my calls. I called then more 10 times. I complaint to Airtel but no response.

                                Airtel DTH — cheating by airtel dth

                                Hi,
                                My airtel customer id: [protected]. I recently ordered a upgrade(request no "8035322 for HD-DVR related") from normal STB to airtel's new [HD] recorder by paying Rs 3990(via net banking) as said by airtel. The Customer care executive promised me it will installed within 48 hours. They took more than 3 days. They installed only the normal recorder instead of HD recorder on Friday[protected]. I again lodged a complaint(no:"803522 for wrong resolution(domino)") with customer care who ensured it will be rectified within Saturday evening. Nothing happened. I again called customer care(25 may 2011) to know the status and another complaint was taken(request no:"8334432 for HD-DVR related") and i was promised it will be resolved by 10.30 am the next morning. Today (friday, may 27,2011) I got a call from airtel asking if the issue is resolved, on saying no, he said he will call later. He called later and said the HD-DVR is not being supplied in my region. What the hell!!!!, why wasnt this told before when I was making payment, in my view it is total harassment and cheating. I want airtel people to remove my connection and make a refund of my total balance as of today. If this is the kind of service I will better go for other connection. If I dont get any response I will file a complaint against them.

And it is very sad to say that still INSTALLATION NOT YET DONE(Today:JUN-6-2011). I had transferred the amount Rs3990/- on their customer executive confirmation that box is available. Iam fed up writing to [protected]@airtel.in; [protected]@airtel.in; dthnodal.[protected]@airtel.in;. I have also lodged complain with their customer care (req no. 8679766 for Wrong Resolution). Where customer care assured for getting it fixed by saturday. On saturday i did get a call asking what is my problem, he said i will forward your request to concerned person and dropped the call. Still nothing has been done.
                                It is absolutely hell situation dealing with airtel digital TV, I have asked for money refund or immediate installation. no one is bother for either of them. Iam seriously thinking of filing a complaint against them, if this thing keeps on like this.

                                i had applied for mobile number portibility from ideapost paid to airtel postpaid. Airtel customer care executive had collected all the documents required and 250 rs. in cash(10/3/2015), he provided me with new sim, but after not getting any call from customer care centre, i contacted to airtel store who informed me that my home verification has been done and positive but documents have not been received by airtel office.
                                After that i have lodged a complaint with airtel (no. OTO[protected] but airtel is not contacting me and the store representative told me that the entire procedure has to be repeated by paying 250 rs again as fee.So kindly look into this mismanagement by airtel officials.

I contacted to the retailer from whom i have purchased the sim he showed his register and told that he already sent my documents to the company after that i contacted airtel service centre,cantonment road,bajrakbati cuttack they told me to submit the documents again after that they will reactivate on the otherday i again submitted the fresh copy of my documents ,they received and assured me that my connections will be Re-activated within 24Hrs but its more than 24Hrs neither customer care 198 is responding nor they are Re-activating my sim and I cannot use that sim. They cannot reactivate till now.Airtel is cheating lot's of recent prepaid customer like this.Hence i request you to please consider the matter and take legal actions against this Fraud company.

                                  Airtel — Airtel disconnected my Number

                                  Hi,
                                  I am Ajit Kumar Singh, I have taken two Airtel Postpaid connection on 31-July-200. At the time of Conection, I have submitted Photo, Pan Card Xerox and Original copy of Bank Statement.

                                  At the time of verifaiction, They meet me once, on that time I was not aware that Again they will ask for origianl copy of document. I have asked them to comes in 1-2 days. Airtel Agent ok, After that he never turn to meet me. Airtel told they went to verication many times, but they could meet me. I am working persons, How could I will be avaible always in home.

                                  Last time the Agent call me that he is coming in 10 min. I told ok I will be avaible, But he didnt come, after 30 min, I called them he told your door was locked, Even I am avaibale in the home...

                                  After this they disconneted my numebr. When I went to Airtel Customer relationship center, and asked them to refund my deposite they denied.. I told give me in written statement that you are not returing my money.. they are telling this is not possibel..

                                  Will some one can help.. Where I shoild go ?

                                  AirTel — Disconnecting My Numbers

                                  Hi,
                                  I have taken 2 numbers, Even after submitting all the documents, the company has barred my services, if i gave a call to the customer care, they say that they have not received the documents, 2 days back my numbers got activated after receving the doucments, but only for 01 hour, once again when i gave a call they say that they have not received the documents.
                                  My Numbers are +91-[protected] and +91-[protected].

                                  The company is playing with the customers & not properly responsing to the customers.
                                  Dear Sir, I Requisting Pls give incoming calls, I spoke to customer care still not get our 3 month salary, we will confirm that. I will agree to pay the outstanding amount before 20th of may, once again am asking pls continue to active my sim card (at least incoming calls my mobile no.[protected])

                                      I got a message from Airtel
                                      You are Active on Airtel Tamil movies service You are being charged Re 1/day.
                                      I never activated this service,This is not the first time auto subscription costs me 30 Rs.Its like stealing others money.
                                      I want my 30 Rs Balance back and dont need any auto subscription in future

Because that company get much more work from us and they pay less salary. and some times they will not pay salary to workers. I hv worked in that company they dint gave my salary of two months.
