[Resolved]  Airtel — Do not Disturb

Hi ,

This is Ankur Goyal a loyal customer of Airtel before four month i heard about DND service of the TRAI and i registerered my Airtel no for this and i got 45 days of time for the fully activation of this service.I waited for this during this period i was continuously getting promotional call from Airtel and other co .And even when i go to roaming the no of this types of call get increased that fatch financial and psychological loss.But because of the lead time i beared this problem but even after the completion of the 45 days i am consistently getting calls ,i called so many times to Airtel consumer care but the problem is same as usual and becoming more intensive . I m really to much embarrasse because of this problem please give me justice as son as possible . MY mobile no is [protected]

My mobile number is [protected]. I have started "do not disturb" service two years back. But stil i m receiving promotional SMS from the company. I made complain many times to their customer care but no action has been taken in this reguard yet. plz do justify this topic and advice me about further things i can do.

My mobile no. is [protected] & I already had summit a complaint few days before, regarding "DO NOT DISTURB" service. I had registered my number on this on 18/11/2009 & reg. no. is A[protected]. After submitting last complaint Airtel costumer executive was talked me regarding same & said that will not happen again, but the problem remain same. Unwanted calls & SMS are continuing to coming. Please take attention on this.

Airtel Mobile — Do not Disturb

Even after requesting to stop the commercial messages, calls I'm getting SMS, phone calls frequently

Sir,
I have a complaint against my mobile service provider airtel.I have registered do no disturb service dated on 15/04/2010,my reference number for registration is S[protected].They have inform me that all promotional call will be stopped within 45 days to your no.Though it is already passed but they used to send me promotional sms and call twice a day still now.

so, plese take necessary steps that i can get out from this remedies.

Hi...I have already registered for DND( Do Not Disturb) around 6 months back but even after that i am getting un-wanted calls and sms.

Though I have been regsitered with NDNC. on 27/08/2007. Vide reference number for Registration is F[protected] as displayed in my account accessed through Airtel website. I get number of SMSs daily and even in the night which is disturbing me

My Airtel Number [protected], I have registred with do not distrub from 2009. I have verified wtih gov of india website. my number still in do not distrub database.
for past 3 weeks I am getting frequent calls form Airtel for value added service (CAller tuens) I have contacted customer care# 198 on 29th Aug 2010 from 9.52 to 10.30. I spoke with 3 associates ref# [protected]. non of them answered properly and saying that my number was not in database for do not distrub service. and i have resend the dnd msg and wait for next 45 days to stop this calls. Pls stop this calls imdtly as am getting mental distrub from this calls at my sleep hours.

I MOHIT ,I USING TWO NO.OF AIRTEL COMUNICATION COMP,BUT UNHAPPY ABOUT THE AIRTEL DO NOT DISTRUB SERVICES,BECOSE I REGISTER MY OERSONAL MOB NO.in DO NOT DISTRUB but continuing i resiveing some msgs,

i complaint agean and agean but no taking any positev reaction by the Airtel comp, i complaint last time. if not itaking any positive result i taking some other help about the court.

I have a Prepaid Connection with Airtel (No :[protected].

I intend to register the DND services since I am getting lots o[censored]nwanted calls / sms.

I tried several times with their customer care number 121 but failed to reach their customer service executive. There are no other menu options available where I can register my request.

Even I tried with Airtel's customer complaint section (198). They also denied to help me in this regard.

Can I get some resolution to this matter ?

I want to block all unwanted calls / sms with immediate effect.

Pls help.

Airtel — I keep getting Promotional Calls through my mobile number is registered in DND.

Hi,

My mobile number is [protected]. I have registered my number in DND on last week of Feb 2011. Apart from sending a message to 1909 saying "START DND", I also called customer care on the same day to ban all calls from Airtel ont0o my mobile. I was asked to wait for 20days for the request to be processed. I did wait. And still calls from Airtel kept pestering me. I took it at my ease and called back Airtel again and raised a complaint AGAIN to stop the PROMOTION calls which I get from AIrtel nearly 3-4 times a day. Customer Service executive asked me to wait again for another 20 days !!!! I did.And still and still I keep getting calls from Airtel. There has been no action taken TILL DATE and I keep getting calls which is really frustrating. Why should I suffer the pain of spoiling my time with your USE FOR NOTHING PROMOTION calls !!!! I got sick of your Airtel service and would strongly recommend all my known contacts to stay away from Airtel in Bangalore.

Below are few of the numbers I get calls from :

1) [protected] (Got a call at nearly 10:00 am on 12th Apr 2011)

How SICK it would be to get promotional calls from various numbers like above esp., when I would be in a conference - adding to my no being registered in NDNC registry !!!!!

I'm repeatedly requesting for do not disturb option, but the number one telecom provider is not serious about the matter, so I opted for mobile number portability. Then I was promised by the authority my problems will be sorted out, but all the promises are in vain , still I receive annoying calls and messages. My complaint number are as such

Bharti Airtel — Do Not Disturb on my Mobile

Dear Sir,

My mobile number is [protected]. Long back I requested for Do Not Disturb facility, but still I am receiving nonsense messages and calls for no reason. And occasionally this company charge for which I haven't subscribed for. If I already have "Do Not Disturb" then why the hell I am receiving bloody messages and calls again and again? Do I have to file a legal complaint against Airtel?

Seems good that your replied positively. But as previous few commitments by Airtel was not been fulfilled, I can't trust you fully. You have to take it very seriously. Don't just comment and forget, keep remembered what you've said.

Application wriiten behalf of my mobile number-[protected] was lost as on 30/06/11.Please closed my number for any distrubance by using my number.So kindly requested to you closed my mobile number as soon as possible.thank you

I've been getting the same kinda calls from the numbers listed above. I am in Canada, and these calls come at the middle of the night for me! I am woken up by these calls SO MANY times. I have lodged a complaint a couple of weeks back and i've been asked to wait for 45 days for it to become effective. keeping my fingers crossed! Don't force me to leave your services, Airtel.

I am also facing the same problem. Please stop calling 7 to 8 times a day.

Airtel — Getting calls from Airtel as my no. is on DND

I received two calls from different no.'s [protected] and [protected] both the calls came on 01/Oct/2011 from different DSA's of Airtel regading if i require any more no.'s from airtel. When i told them that ny no. is on DND they disconnected. My no. is [protected].
I would like to complaint against both these DSA's as they are calling on DND no.'s against the wish of the customers. Please take a strict action against these people who work for Airtel.

I had complained in airtel of a telemarketer and airtel mailed me that they had sent a warning letter to the unregistered telemarketer, and on
other side i was receiving call from that same telemarketer again and again number is -[protected], i am having all my complaint numbers registered during last 15 days, one of executive told me to complaint in consumer court, and TRAI will penalize this telemarketer as per rules, which is, a charge of Rs 1lakh, as on calling more than once, please help, My number is [protected]
