Re Verification required, number deactivated

Respected sir/madam,

I have purchased a Airtel USB data card, post paid a month ago, they have not come for address verification and later they have deactivated my mobile no. [protected]. I have contacted the Airtel store where I have purchased this data card, they said they would be coming for re-verification but 10 days passed no response, even they are not responding to my call and keeping it on hold. Please see that re-verification...

Hi ,
Today (Aug 9th,12) , I have 12131 (Toll free) no. & I have activated my best offer at Rs.5 and I got 900 Local / STD seconds for 2 days .
I received confirmation SMS also & when I am trying to check my remaining balance of this dedicated balance , nothing is displaying .
So many times I try to call on *123*230# but nothing is displaying regarding dedicated account balance info .

I wanted to complain this , when I tried to call Airtel Complain Toll Free No 198 and when I press the number for connecting to the customer care agent
its going back to the starting of the IVR Recording (option). This happens in the 198 number .

Has Airtel done the extreme step and fired all their customer agents?? (they wheren't that good though) :P

    sir i recharge with 1gb 3g internet pack with Rs.250 on 03/08/12 at 08:54 pm which is valid for 1 month. but i did'nt got the 3g speed.There after i contact with 3g technical help customer care no.12134 they verified and register a complaint on my no.[protected] & replied that my problem will be solved before 09/08/12 and called back by us. Sir,i contact them again on 09/08/012 at 04:20pm they again take 1 day,after 1 day again i contact but they transfer the call to senior supervisor he also told that your problem will soon solved... after that many times i called them....But Sir, i want to inform you that still now on 14/08/012, 10:55 pm my problem is not resolved & my validity also going to half finished

    AirTel — low internet speed

    Hello sir i am using Mobile office service of airtel according to company in this plan customer got 115.2 kbps speed but i got only 15.7 kbps speed because of that i am unable to browse internet properly i call customer care many times but no one satisfy me for this service airtel charging 395 rs. per month from me
    please help me .. Thank you

      On 10 Aug 2012 I have decident to to port my airtel number([protected]) to Vodafone due to Network and other issues .I sent message on 1900 and I received my Unique Porting ID (AX358768)on 10th Aug, 2012 from 1901 .However from 10th August onwards I have been continously harassed by Airtel Officials by bombarding me with continuous calling and asking me the same questions again and again that "why I am leaving Airtel" and inspite of giving/telling them the reasons they just reply that we will forward your request and my number will be ported to Vodafone but still nothing is done.

      Since this is my prepaid nymber nothing has been pending from my side .

      AIRTEL :- Please stop mental harassement by repeated calling otherwise I have to shift my Broadband and Digital TV Services connection to other providers .

          Hi,

          I already have an Airtel postpaid mobile number, but I wanted another postpaid number for my wife today (14-Aug-12) as we are leaving tomorrow early morning to Ladhakh where only postpaid connections work.

          A dealer name Platinum Plus (Ms. Anjali - [protected]) gave me a new number yesterday (13-Aug-12) for INR 500 (INR 200 as their fee and the remaining 300 to be billed in next three months). Their Executive Karan Tuteja ([protected]) came and picked up my address proof, photo and Rs. 500. The Address proof was of my old address which i changed yesterday (13-Aug-12) only. So he asked me to send the photocopy of the new place's rent agreement on his email by today (14-Aug-12) 12 pm. I clearly asked him to check my old address proof if it is visible properly and he was fine with it. He promised that the number will be activated by today (14-Aug-12).

          I have send the scanned copy of the rent agreement of my new address today at 10:19 am to KAran's email id. But they started calling me that my house numer 89 is not clearly visible in my old address and can be mistaken for 39 (I specifically asked Karan Tuteja to check this and he was fine). For this I send them a scanned copy of my passport with the old address also at 11:27 am (just when they have send me the email address through sms).

          I wanted to have the SIM working by today as we will be travelling early morning tomorrow.

          Ms. Anjali now started saying that it was me who have given the improper address and the SIM will not be active today. I explained him that it was her executive only who clearly checked it. But she put down the phone saying that I am shouting at her.

          After calling her again multiple times she pick the phone and said that she will not activate the number if I keep on shouting.

          First this, it was not my fault, secondly it was their executives who were late all the time and third I will be angry because now I do not have time to get any other number from anywhere which will be activated today.

          The problem is not about money, its about inconvinience and rudeness.

          Platinum Plus dupes people for Rs. 200 all the time and it is a well known fact (looking at the number of complaints registered against it online).

          I want to know how strict action can be taken against these type of dealers.

          Airtel/Reliance — Using my passport as proof of address for others

          To All,

          Don't know whether it happened to me only.

          On my name I have taken 2 simcards for my brother and dad by producing passport as proof of address.


          Recently my brother & DAd lost their mobiles and went to airtel & Reliance and checked its not on my name and is registered with some unknown users.

          How come the proof of address is mismatched with others?

          There could be something wrong in using the proof of address and I don't know whether
          these guys are using my proof of address ( passport) for some one else.

            This is Jayanta Biswas from Kokata, I have problem regarding Airtel postpaid mobile service.

            For your kind information that, I had changed my prepaid service to post paid service just 2 months ago. and the problem is, i activated GPRS service few days ago over the phone to customer care no to 121, in the time i got 200 MB free Internet usage in the time of activating of GPRS services. and i got that information from an auto generated call by the Airtel services. as usual i use internet in between 200 MB data. But i have received the bill for July month, that generated in 13th August.In this bill i checked that i have to pay Rs.529 for internet usage.In this bill there is no information about this FREE 200 MB DATA USAGE. instantly i called to airtel customer care to 121, they told that they are extremely sorry for wrong information to me but i have to pay for this usage of internet. they told that they have to nothing to do. If needed kindly follow the below mentioned A/C information :

              I'm using Airtel sim & my mobile number is [protected]. My Airtel number out going calls has been barred and I am unable to send messages. Since thursday m not able to make out going calls & m not able to send message. So on Friday I logged a complaint. then the problem was rectified on saturday noon. But again from Sunday noon the same problem of outgoing calls not going and unable to messages. I am very much upset with the service which provided by your customer care.. I tried calling to customer care from my number. But it was not getting connected. From other number called & logged a complaint around 5times... They had taken nearly a week but still m facing the same prob and your customer care don’t have the ability to solve the problem.. I kindly request you to take an immediate action and rectify the problem or pass me the port code so that I can get it portable.. i sent a mail regarging this problem vai mail to "[protected]@in.airtel.com" & after a day i got a reply from your end saying that i got reply mail from sirtel customer care. But i've not recieved any mail. I'm really fed up with your service. I am waiting for your reply.. please get back to me as soon as possible…

                I have paid airtel mobile bill ([protected]) at Lucknow however I have not received any acknowledgement message for that, instead the customer care people are harrasing and asking for bill payment.

                This is third time in a row that , I have paid my bill but that is not acknowledged rather after the bill summation date is over they charge late payment charges.

                Please look into the matter I am also attaching my communication with airtel and scanned copy of my payment receipt. Please give me resolution within 24 hours.

                  I applied for MNP on 10/8/12 for which i got a call from Airtel Saying that my call rates will be deducted if i cancel my request so did i, but nothing happened even after 48 hrs.
                  So I called 198 where i was told to call [protected] where the Customer care executive FOOLED ME telling me to call [protected] which AINT AIRTEL SERVICE NUMBER.
                  Then I called again on [protected] where i was now told YOU CANNOT GET OUR BENEFITS (you were a fool to believe us).

                    MY 3G DATA-CARD (Pre -Paid) modem with Mobile no. [protected] and the SIM NO...[protected] h1 NOT ACTIVATED FURTHER FOR USE. TAKE NECESSARY ACTION FOR THE SAME PLEASE.
                    on 5th August'12, I recharged with RS.451/- for 2GB Data usage,which has validity upto 03rd Septeber'12. The data usage only worked till 6th August'12(one day only), after that, there was no network support and not able to recharge for any Talk-Time also. I am UNABLE TO MAKE CALLS ALSO, the SIM GOT EXPIRED ON 10th August'12.Afterwards, it is not working and no network support till date. Kindly, look into this problem and do the needful to re-activate for further validity period and help me use the data for browsing and further use of SIM CARD........ thank u.

                      I had the worst experience with airtel, one by one they are canceling my airtel numbers,which were on my own original id proof.
                      The airtel service centre in Leela bhawan, patiala. Their own servers are failed. They refused to take proof for my number more than 10 times.they don't know how to behave to your customer. even a uneducated is better than them. When i purchased a new one from the dealer, today its outgoing has been stopped. and the customer care executor has only one line to say," main app ki koi sahayta nhi kr skta." even the dealer never submit the proof to the company. If complaining here will be taken seriously, I will appreciate it...

                        I, Mohan kumar, I planned to switch over my connection from Adayar to Thiruvanmayur but they didn't change my connection for past 20 days. I directly went customer care of Airtel office at besant nagar road which is opposite to Adayar anandha bhavan but they couldn't give me a proper response. Finally I came to know if they switch connection in adayar division they loose one point so that they didn't change. Finally i terminate...

                              I am a Airtel Digital TV customer.My customer ID is [protected].Yesterday I have problem with display of TV due to cable problem.I am complainted to customer care and they are saying that service charge of technical person is 100rs plus service charges 10 rs.Today technician came and check that there is a Loose connectin in DISH.He just check the connection and properly fit the cable.its 2 mins work.He demands the charges and collect it provide the bill.Bill number is 2026(Invoice Number).Here problem is that Even they do nt want to know the problem just they are demanding the charges.Even it is minor or major they do not want it.Just they are collecting the money.I never see this type of company.

                                  Had been using Airtel for more than 3 years and airtel customer service is getting pathetic day by day..
                                  My Airtel Digital TV has not been since 1st August 2012 and its been 12 days still my problem hasn't been resolved.
                                  Airtel has got the most pathetic service in market and it even doesn't know how to work in a service industry.

                                  Airtel field engineers tell us to replace whole of the dish on personal basis in less cost than airtel.
                                  so what the hell is happening in airtel service and i would suggest every person in market not to subscribe to airtel service.

                                  My Airtel digital TV Customer ID - [protected]. I have launched the compalint of my set top box in last week. My set top box is not working. But till date my problem has not been resolved. Now i am cheking the status of my complaint the Airtel customer care system says problem is solved. My dish is in warantty. I gone to dealer but even he is not giving proper responce , he is saying call the Airtel. I am wasting my time & money to call Airtel customer Care. From my account the daily subscription amount is deducted instead of the service.

                                    Respected, Sir/Madam
                                    I"m using Airtel prepaid service, I start using a internet service which provide by Airtel.
                                    whenever I want deactivated they show application down and next day unnecessary they provide service and rec-duct money from my prepaid account. when I call to their customer care they miss guide me , giving me false Information.which equivalent to froad. So plz Kindly take action against Airtel services.
