[Resolved]  Airtel Mr. Sunil Bharti Mittal — GOONDA RAJ

Mr. Sunil Bharti Mittal ..Ru listening ?????
Hi ,
I want to bring this incident to your attention.I had an airtel number which I transferred to my tenant.Itransferred this connection legally with the Airtel's approval
After 2 years - our tenant moved from my place and Iam not sure where he is and is not in touch.Last I heard was he was statying in abroad.
To my surprise - the bill on this number is unpaid and I have been recieving calls at odd hours of the night and people threatning me to pay the bills for the old number which I did not use.I was just the previous owner of this number.
To add to all these woes - they are sending people who are illetrate and goonds near my place for that guy who has left India and not paid the bills.
I even recieved an email from Airtel stating that I need to pay the money - even though it is not in my name.
Iam mentally being harrased and would like to take up this matter to Consumer Court and TRAI for cancellation of the license of AIRTEL.They are using moneypower and goondapower to harrass the poor customers.

If this is being read by the concerned authorities - please help me .. my email address is [protected]@yahoo.co.in

Airtel — non availability fixed line phone connection

Sir,

Well. I got connected with Airtel fixed line phone connection(no[protected] and broad band service during last month.I was also availing International Subscriber Dialing facility for a few days. All of sudden I could not get ISD connection during last week. I made a complaint to the customer care (complaint no[protected] and could not get the complaint rectified even after one week. The reply from customer care is always false promise and unsatisfactory. It looks the company is not interested in the smooth functioning of the system to look after the service for the consumer after entering into the business.Regards.

Bharti Airtel Limited — Activation of Services with approval

Hi,

I have a Airtel Prepaid mobile number in Pune (Mah.), I was not using the number in last 2 months that is between 12th Oct. to 12th Dec, during this duration I used Airtel number only once, on 17th November for recharging my phone and also made a call.

For this period my mobile was switch off, but still some how a Cricket pack got activated on my number on 12th Nov. and I was being charged for that till 13th Dec.

When I called the customer care of 13th Dec. they deactivated the service and refused to return me the money deducted for the service which I never wanted and never activated myself.

I was charged for a service which got activated with out my confirmation and request. After multiple discussions with the Airtel Customer care team I was always told that they have ticket for the same, ticket number being[protected], and later on they told me that they cannot return me the money they have deducted with out tell me the reason. The only reason they told me was that "they cannot return it".

This not the first time the same thing is happening to me, few months back a matrimony pack got activated on my number.

I want Airtel to return the amount deducted for such unwanted services, which I never activated and never intended to use.

Thanks....

Sir,
I agree with your point where AIRTEL has spoilt its reputation by using illegal ways to collect bills and is harrasing the consumers.
I has a similar complaint - however I took this issue to the Mumbai high court and I got a settlement of Rs 38000/- as a compensation for harrasing me mentally.

Please continue with your complaint on AIRTEL in the court and TRAI.

Dear Sir,
15.02.10
GPRS Amount in Bill on Phone NO. [protected] [protected]

I am a customer of Airtel since the Airtel working in Punjab .Presently I am using three mobile No. [protected], [protected], [protected] & land line Broad Band connection 4658479.

On the perusal of my bill Today i.e. on 06.02.10 commencing from 25.12.2008 to till 25.01.10 came to knew that in all the bills GPRS rental were added while I am not using this facility on any of the three nos. mentioned above. For Internet facility we have Broad Band connection. On 06.2.10 I personally contacted the Airtel Office situated at Sector-11 Panchkula & they denied that this amount added in the bill can’t be rectified at this stage.
It shocks me a lot & I realized that why not I had scrutinized all the bills on months to month’s basis.
I only say that it was my foolishness that I believe on Airtel which is a big phone service provider in India.
The matter was also brought to knowledge of customer care centre Mohali as well as New Delhi Circle office, they assured me to settle the issue before 15.02.10 but in vain.
I am suffering a loss of Rs 329.79* 14=4616.06Rs

If the matter was not resolved before 20.02.10 then there will be only one option with me to surrender
The following No.

Punjab zone

1.[protected] (mine)
2.[protected] ( my daughter)
3.[protected] ( my wife)
4.4658479 LL ( broad band)

Karnataka zone

5.[protected] ( with my son)
6.[protected] daughter-in-law)

Rajasthan Zone

7.[protected] (my brother)
8.[protected]( my brother)

We would like to have the no of same service provider either Reliance /Tata/Vodaphone or any other which will be suited to all in these states.
Thanks for providing the services till date.

Thanks

Hello Sunil,

I thought there could be a possibility of some action on receiving the mail from me. Thought there has been surplus of 1750/- Rs, still I made another payment of 2000 Rs to activate the services immediately. Rather I see the phone number is permanently disconnected. When I dial the number[protected], getting a message, the number does not exists…

It’s a serious concern; if this is not resolved immediately, I have no other option but to seek legal advice on this issue. As head of the organization, I am sure, you would sensitize the person responsible to resolve this.

Many thanks in advance,

GAURAV

Hello Sunil,

This mail to you is the outcome of the frustration, I had with your helpdesk folks (toll free number – [protected]). Even after spending more than 40 mins personally with the helpdesk folks, the concern remains the same. Refer to mail trail below for more detail, The helpdesk folks have assured me thrice via interaction/complaint number[protected] yesterday around 7.00 PM,[protected] today morning 8.30 am,[protected] around 6.30 today evening) that concern has been logged and with in 4 hrs the connection will be restored; just now spoken to another chap at helpdesk, he told that it will be done on 27th Feb after 3.00 pm.

My concerns are:

a) Why a false reference number is given without logging a call?
b) Why the false time commitment is done?
c) The most important is that when you had advance money paid, how can the connection be disconnected.

I am sure, shd you or your office is in receipt of this mail, will instruct the people concerned to ensure the immediate restoration of services along with setting up the tight process for call logging, monitoring and tracking till closure.

Many thanks in advance.

The site details clearly shows that a payment of Rs 1750 is made; why is this amount not adjusted against the bill of January 2010.
If the issue is not corrected today, I will take this on a serious note with senior authorities in Airtel.

Importance: High

Hi,
This is to bring to your notice that Telephone[protected] and Internet service at my residence – “309 Milano Mahagun Mansion, Phase 2, Indirapuram GZB” has been debarred since last 2 days on the account of non-payment of telephone bill whereas my Airtel account already has surplus credit of Rs 1750.

I had paid Rs 1750 as installation charges for IP TV, but because of non feasibility of the same, it was not installed and it was told that the money paid will be adjusted against the subsequent bills, the same did not happen and as a result phone/Internet is dead for last 2 days.

This needs immediate attention and correction. If this is not corrected in next 2 hrs, an escalation will be sent to senior officials with a complaint in consumer forum.

This is the latest e-mail which I responded to an illegal e-mail which has been sent to me for no fault of mine.

Airtel — Non Closer of connection and Threat Calls from various Call centers

Dear Sir/Madam,

I purchased an USB Broadband connection from Airtel Relationship Centre Sec 37, Faridabad in the month of June 09.

From 9th Nov 2009 the USB stop working and despite of various complaints to their Customer care no. 7070 no response received for compaints.

Therefore on 16th Nov 2009 i wrote a disconnection request to the Airtel on BB.[protected]@airtel.in, [protected]@airtel.in, care.[protected]@airtel.in and get the acknowledgment response on mail.
