I am Yogesh using airtel prepaid for more than five years. For past few months, I am receiving SMS from unknown numbers(56060,54321,etc) to download pictures,wallpapers,etc. Even though I ignore these type of messages I have been charged without downloading it. Eventhough I disabled service messages to avoid automatic connection of gprs.They send text messages like 'Dear subscriber click below link... to download rubbish things, I have just read it, after sometime I have received SMS ' Thanks for downloading the contents and you have been charged Rs.10,etc'. I have complained in airtel customer care, But they told that 'you have opened the given link so you are charged'. But I din't open any link and they are not refunding any amount for it. Sometimes without subscribing to any daily SMS, they are sending joke SMS daily and they are charging Re.1/sms. For many complaints they are not answering properly. I feel vry bad on it. I am going to disconnect from airtel.Necessary action should be taken to stop this.

I am using Airtel mobile since 4 years. I found your customer care dept not attending the complaints. recentle for the last two months i complaind to u to stop the AIRTEL RADIO. when i complaind t ur msg informed me that your executive will contact u. since last two months no answer and u are charging me 30 per month unnecesssary. i request u to cancel the programe and refund the amt unnecessary chraged me.

I use Micromax GC360 MOBILE PHONE. Once I recieved an sms reading:
"Your Micromax GC360 doesn't support automatic configuration of services. Please call 121 for more details"
When I called 121 I didn't get any satisfactory answer, When I called you Customer Care Service Provider, he told me to contact nearest Airtel center. But I am unable to go there due to certain reasons
Please explain me in detail about the problem and what is 'AUTOMATIC CONFIGURATIION OF SERVICES" AND WHAT SHOULD I DO TO ALLOW MY MICROMAX GC360 TO ALLOW AUTOMATIC CONFIGURATIONOF SERVICES

    I Sumit Ahuja user of airtel mobile sevice regestired myself for the mobile no. of [protected] on 27/08/2007 for the service of DND under NDNC Scheme with the reference no.of F[protected]. But from the last month i am still receiving unwanted promotional msgs from various companies, one of the msg is from TM-Its Magic dt 10/02/2010 at 03.:30 pm and i reported the same to customer care but they failed to resolved this matter.

    So kindly take a suitable action against them.

    Airtel — do not disturb failure

    i use air tel simcard and i registered my cell no for dnd(do not disturb ) on 12/9/07 and my dnd. registration no: s[protected] still after 1year i received a tele marketing call from airtel for his some std. scheme from [protected] no.

      I made the recharge of Rs. 5/- from an lapu recharger retailer for free SMS scheme. At that time confirmation msg come for recharge and assured me for activation of this service within 24 hrs on 9 feb09. next day I phone customer care of airtel about confirmation. they confirmed and loged a complaint for lapu SMS offer. Today Customer complaint section deny their commitment.

        They do not solve problems but increase them. I use airtel prepaid service.Yesterday (11/2/2010) i had balance of Rs 302 and all of sudden today (12/2/2010) it was reduced to 242. I therefore called customer care she said it was their mistake they started some Airtel Talkies Pack services it was done by mistake and they would refund my balance. Then she hung up. Within few seconds i checked my balance and it is only Rs182 now they cut Rs160 without any reason. I want my balance back why we have to suffer for their mistakes. Also i have registered my number with DND(do not disturb) service provided by them still they keep on sending some stupid messages and calls. I need a solution else i will have to stop this service

        i have rechared rs 32 sms pack given by airtel mobile company for 250 sms free on 24dec ihad sent not more than 100 sms then also companyhad cut my balance from my main account .when i inqured but there is no satisfaction ans from them so i request u to do a favourable job at my site My mobile no is [protected]

Airtel company is reducing balance without any faults of customer. this company is sending massages on customers mobile as giving toll free number and when customers using that toll free number they are deducting balance and also service is activating so this charge is different, this happens with me many times. what i think is they are just taking advantage of poor people. so necessary action should taken on this issue. it should not happen country like india where education rate is low.

        I am an airtel prepaid customer for the last 5 ½ years. My name is Rajesh Vidhyadharan and my airtel prepaid number is [protected].
        On Friday at 2.40 pm,[protected] I checked my balance and found that my account was deducted of Rs. 120/-.
        So I called up 121 for registering my complaint and found out that one of the Airtel Service “Airtel Talkie Pack Services” was activated on my phone without my consent. The request reference number for the same is [protected] and the customer care executive name is Ms. Ketana. The customer care executive told me that the deducted amount will be reverted back into the account within 4 hours.
        After interacting with customer care I checked my balance again and found that my account had been further deducted for an amount of Rs. 60/-.
        So I called up 121 for registering my complaint again and found out that one of Airtel Service “Airtel Talkie Pack Services” was activated on my phone without my consent. The request reference number for the same is [protected]. The customer care executive told me that the deducted amount will be reverted back into the account within 4 hours.
        For no fault of mine and not subscribing for the same above my account has been deducted of Rs. 180/- without my consent.
        After, 4 hours, my account is still debited of Rs. 180/- and I am not able to call customer care as I have exhausted my calls for the day.
        Sir, I am writing this email to you to reach a solution to my problem which is unknowingly burdened on me.

        hello there... i had sort of similar problem withing 24 hrs. i get money with a lot of work. n i get paid about 100 rupees per week believe it or not. i rarely recharge my Airtel number. today January 22nd 2011. yesterday which was 21st of January i got some money to recharge and i recharged my number for 100 rupees. i activated GPRS in the night for 19 rupees (200 MB of free usage) and it got activated by 00:59 hrs n the price was deducted. so far so good. now when i wake up in the morning i got a pop up message saying i have 12 rupees balance? what the heck? i had 76 rupees and 56 ps. after activation they deducted 19 rupees as usual n i had 57 rs and 56 ps left. i wake up in the morning (i'm very very sure that i LOCKED MY KEYPAD AS USUAL so that i don't press any button and it speed dials it) and i see i have only 12 rupees and 56 ps? they deducted 45 rupees for what? i tried calling the customer care in the morning and it says there's some sort of problem please call back tomorrow...???? please i need some answer here. my number is [protected] if that helps.

        I am an airtel prepaid customer from bangalore. From the past one month, im facing lot of problems because of airtel wherein the value added services are being activated and subscribed like airtel talkies pack without my knowledge and then the money gets deducted from my account for no mistake of mine. Then i had to call the customer care to stop the services (With call charge of 50 paise everytime). Why is this happening for airtel customers, disturbing people unnecessarily and deducting balance.

        I hope these problems will be solved.

I complaint about many times with airtel gallery and customer care but they did not do anything so i have hope with u so please.

            I got my airtel prepaid number recharged with top up of Rs. 333 on 30 Jan 2010 and instead of getting the balance of Rs.301.95 after tax deduction I got the balance in some spl a/c only valid for one month. This is really strange because if airtel has changed the usual balance scheme on Rs 333 as mentioned on your website also, it was not informed at the time of recharge.

            I talked to customer support with request reference number [protected] and the customer support person could not help in this matter. Please register my complain and I would request you to move my balance valid for 1 month to actual balance without any validity.

            The calls that I am making are getting deducted from Rs 333 account balance. It is not possible for me to use all this amount in 28 days in which case I will waste such a large amount because of the carelessness of the Airtel Punjab Service provider towards its schemes.

            Not only this I am not able to send SMSes using the 333 account which is really ridiculous because I will waste that amount for not using it before Feb 28th but for messaging I need to get it recharged again.Kindly take some measures ASAP in this regard and transfer my balance to my normal account.

            On all such complains, similar reply is given. However no resolutions are done nor the concerned person even contacted. I have mailed to airtelpresence twice and neither I have been contacted nor I got any reply.
            I got my AIRTEL prepaid number [protected] ERecharged with Rs. 222 on 13 march 2010 at 04.21 PM Transaction ID[protected] after getting customer care massage of full talktime on recharge of Rs 222/=. Instead of getting the talktime of Rs.222.00 I could get only RS 2.22.This is simply cheating on the part of highest reputed telecom company of INDIA.The customer care number 121 & 198 are not responding.How the company can eat away my money. This is simply a cheating. If there was no such scheme of full talk time than why the massage was forwarded to me.& if it does not exist the money can not be swept away by the company. please help me where I have to compalin. I am very much disturb, I can go to any extent.

              I have sent mail to the following ids (complaint mail also mentioned below) yesterday after speaking several times with Customer Care. But no reply from any of the mail id as yet.

              Proof of very poor services of Airtel customer care.

              1. Given a cheque of Rs. 1,000 to the executive of Airtel for getting connection.
              2. Cheque dishonored due to signature mismatch.
              3. Deposited Rs. 1,000 in cash at Airtel Kiosk (KTSID :[protected], Shop No.3, Ajnara Landmark Building, Sec-4, Vaishali, Ghz vide Transaction Receiptv(TID) : QDLSTSM28388 on 2nd Jan 2010 at 14:50 pm.
              4. Got the broadband connection and telephone line no.[protected] in the name of Preetam Chakraborty at Flat No. 303, Gaur Ganga – II, Sector 4, Vaishali, Ghz.
              5. Line disconnected on 21st Jan 2010. Spoke to Jitesh at 8:29 pm vide complaint no.[protected]. He told that the line got disconnected due to some technical problem and I will rectify the same and it will take 8 working hours to rectify. Next day the line was working fine.
              6. On 23rd Jan 2010 again the line got disconnected and on putting the request ref. no.[protected], the executive told us that we have not made payment so the line got disconnected automatically through the server.
              7. Now the phone and broadband both are not working. Again on 25th Jan 2010 spoke to Salim Butt and he gave us the ref. no. 28870792 and told us to get our phone line up by 3rd Feb 2010. Spoke to his Sr. Floor Supervisor Ajay Methew who gave us the ref. no. [protected] and told us that we have not made payment that's why server has disconnected our line automatically. He is switching on our line but to rectify the phone problem and broadband connection, he will send the engineer by 11:30 am on Jan 27, 2010.
              8. On 27th Jan 2010 at 9 pm spoke to Tanveer Malik, who confirmed that he will send an engineer before 1:30 pm on Jan 28th at any cost to solve our problem. We also informed him that we are going out of station and nobody will be there at home, so please mark against the request that anybody should come before 1:30 pm on 28th Jan.
              9. We have deposited Rs. 105 at Airtel Centre vide receipt No. A8513926M on 28th Jan 2010.
              10. Airtel failed to their commitment and nobody turned up to my premises till 1900 hrs.
              11. On 3rd Feb 2010 as told by Salim Butt, an executive called us that he is at our place and door is locked. So we requested him to come on 6th after 11:30 am as we are not in town and we have already putted request for sending the executive on 28th only.
              12. But still nobody came and on calling on 6th Feb 2010 at 3:17 pm spoke to Akanksha, who told me to call after ½ hr as the server is down. Please suggest, is it the customer problem(who is facing this torture), if Airtel’s server is not working. I requested to connect to the supervisor. Then Danish Sidiqqui came on the line, who gave me the ref. no.[protected] and told us to send the mail on the id of care.[protected]@airtel.in, otherwise they will not be able to rectify the problem before 7 working days. Also informed me that they have closed our previous request as nobody was at home when executive came and as per Airtel policy, the executive only call for 3 times and close the request.
              13. But we failed to understand how can Airtel close a complaint no. without resolving it .
              14. Received a call from Airtel that an engineer is going to visit our premises on 10th feb (however did not confirmed the timings). An Airtel representative visited our premises at 10:30 am and my premises was locked for ½ an hr. and he informed the security “INKO BOLNA INKA CONNECTION CANCEL HO GYA HAI” (Informed them that their connection has been cancelled). Called up Airtel customer care, spoke to Amit vide ref. no. 29426714 and spoke to floor supervisor Bharti and finally call was transferred to call centre Incharge Ramashankar vide ref. no. 29426716 and he said that the connection has been cancelled at Airtel’s end and they have to restore the connection which will take another 7 days.

              We have taken the unlimited download connection for better services. But, I believe we can’t expect better services from Airtel now. We are facing this problem since 23rd Jan and now it has crossed 18 days passed and we are still on the same page without any resolution.

              This is what you people commit “At Airtel we are committed to your complete satisfaction” So now let us know, why a customer should suffer without being at fault. Apart from making all payments on time before deadline.

              Please suggest where we should go to raise our voice.

              We hope to get a quick resolution after going through this case history.

              I had requested for a line shifting last month around 14th of June and was given a request number 440962. via email.With a lot of
              delay the wiring was done about two weeks ago and was told that the line will
              get activated.
              However then I get a call that I have asked for a line closure. When I cleared
              it out that I had given a shifting request I was told that they would get the
              issue rectified. Post that the engineer did a survey and said that they can
              only provide a connection if I provide my own wiring. When I said if I am
              paying for shifting why should I bear the cost of wiring, I was told that the
              wire is not available and when it comes they will activate the connection.
              Today to my surprise I got a call from your Safdarjung office informing me that
              there are no points available in the pillar hence connection cannot be given.
              If the connection was not possible then why was wiring done from the new pillar?
              My new address is about 80 mtrs far from the existing connection so why cant
              Airtel give me connection from the same pillar where the line is activated.

                This is my complaint,

                My name is B. Krishna kumar and my mobile number is [protected]. I am her by their to inform you that. I have changed my mobile number from post paid to prepaid and I got a new empty sim. While selecting the language I have cost my mobile phone with the sim. So I have order for a duplicate sim in Pollachi. They asked me to go to Coimbatore. So I came to Coimbatore (Bharti airtel) avinasi road head office.



                When I asked them for the new sim they asked me to go to Pollachi and asked for them again the Pollachi people asked me to go to Coimbatore. So I contact the customer care from my another mobile. They asked to go to cbe to collect the sim.



                So again I came back to cbe head office in avinasi road. They game me a simcard on 7the jan 10. by paying 50 Rs. But in Airtel customer care they told me. That the sim cost only 25rs. But they collected 50rs. And gave the sim to me. The head office people told me that by 8th jan 10 the sim will be activated. But till 19th jan 10 the sim not been activated. But in customer care the higher officers are asking me to go to CBE to activate the sim. But in CBE HO there is no proper response.



                I have been some to CBE for more than 12 times from Pollachi to activate the sim. So I contacted customer higher office Mr. bole from Chennai santhom. He did not give me proper answer. Next day i.e. 13.01.10 I contact another higher officer Mrs. Revathi. She gave me proper information that my I.D proof has not yet been veached the head office. But I have been submitted my ID proof and photo for 6-7 times in both Pollachi and Coimbatore head office on 7th jan 10.



                Then why the Mr. bala and Revathi having in the same department and in same concurred have given wrong information and in customer care they told that the sim is Rs. 25 but and the CBE head office the sim is Rs. 50 and the working hours are till 6.30 only. In customer care and in Head office in cbe are very worst in service.



                This is me a very worst time in life. I have not so many business contacts in the duration. I have attached all the record with the customer care peoples. For this when the action are you going to the tel.



                I have write my conscious and much of loss in business became of this Airtel. You have to replay this letter as soon as possible in tamil only. Else I will give the letter along ith the recording to the other network providers such as Aircel Vodafone etc.

                  This is in concern with my complaints to Airtel customer care regarding my STD services being barred.Despite of various attempts to get it working it hasn't been working.
                  My airtel postpaid no. is [protected].
                  My previous complaint ref.no is. F[protected].
                  I spoke to their executives 4 to 5 times with last week and yet they havent being able to do it.There are people called customer care executives who sit on phone and chat for as long as you want but don't produce results.

This number is not contactable to your customer care numbers like 121, [protected] etc. with the statement “this service is not available on your number” from last few months. When I contacted to your customer care on 25thJanuary’10 through another Airtel mobile number [protected], your customer care executive assure me that this problem will be resolved soon. But when I got no response from your side up to a week I again contact to the customer care & your executive replies me that there is no complaint registered for your mobile number therefore I had again register the same complaint & got complaint number[protected] by your executive. When again I got no response from the company till today I again contact to the customer care number & asked for the above mentioned complaint number, your executive (Ms. Shabina) responds me that no complaint is there on above mentioned complaint number.
                      I hope this mail helps this dis-satisfied customer of your company by tomorrow. Otherwise I will bound to go to the consumer forum against Airtel.

                      Sub:- Show cause notice for Pathetic service rendered by Airtel
                      I have a Mobil connection under CUG scheme at Koteshwar, since Feb 2008. The service provided by you is so pathetic that the limit of tolerance have over exceeded. Frequent call drop, deactivation of Roaming facilities, are rampant. Following are some examples.
                      1) On 31/03/09 the roaming was deactivated where as from 23/03/09 to 29/03/09 the was available during my stay at Delhi.
                      2) On 16/06/09 the roaming was again deactivated.
                      3) A plan of Rs 399/- was activated for GPRS & Internet, which was de activated after 15 days, without giving any reason.
                      4)On 2nd and 3rd March2010, Sri Sanjay Rawat was contacted for redressel of above problem.On this a text massage was send, which I, quote here, ‘ Airtel Roaming has been activated on your Airtel mobil with effect from 03-MAR-10. AIRTEL to AIRTEL Barring has been stopped.’ I fail to understand why I was barred without assigning any reason.
                      5) Though your signal are available here at Koteshwar, the Mobil keep showing Emergency, which results that neither I can make any call nor I can receive any call.
                      6) On 5th March, when I again contacted Sri SanjayRawat at around 1300hrs, he asked to switch off my set and again switch on after half an hour, which I did, but the Emergency was still remaining. Under the circumstances I am forced to take the case to consumer court for redressel. Explain why we should continue with your services ?

                        I paid 1000rs from my bank account for refill of my Airtel Mobile. The amount was neither credited in my mobile nor refunded in my bank account. I am following up the same so many time with Airtel and Bank. Bank is telling that they have paid to Airtel and Airtel is telling that they have not received the amount.

                        Airtel — Mobile refill not done

                        My account number is [protected] and name is amol bagal.
                        Today, I refill of Rs. 50 and it is successfully done but again i tried to refill for 200 and i got transaction failed message on screen. When i checked my balance, 200 amount was deducted.

                        Please look into it.

                          I am using airtel service since last 5 year and using two airtel no which is [protected] and [protected], but unfortunately this time I met with incident for which I haven’t got good response from 121 services



                          I got call from airtel executive last Thursday i.e. on 3rd dec, 2009 as I was getting previously regarding new scheme in which executive offered me 30 paisa flat outgoing with zero rental plan and also life time CLIP free so I Agreed to that scheme and she send executive to my place and collected Document and 700rs CASH which was deductible from my monthly bill amount



                          But after 2 days she was not picking up call and then I complained to 121 customer service and my ref no are 29789864 but not get good response



                          I got call from no [protected] and her name what she told Is NEHA and calling from malad office. And the executive came to my place his name is ANIL.

                          And he gave me airtel customer copy and he signed on that.

                          please suggest me on ths matter ASAP

                            when I am in in Jamshedpur I am informed through service message from Orissa Airtel( though I am a customer of Orissa Airtel Telecom Circle) that Roaming Rs44 Special- Outgoing A2A 1p per Sec, A2O 1.2p per Sec and Incoming 80p & 60p respectively. But when I tried recharge with Rs44 through E-Recharge no recharge happens and replied with "Recharge not successful on your mobile". This happened from 8th Feb,2010 onwards i.e. from my arrival in JSR. So I unable to enjoy the calls at reduced rate. Whenever I tried to contact Customer Care 121 after some voice messges it automatically disconnects.

                              Hi ,
                              I want to bring this incident to your attention.I had an airtel number which I transferred to my tenant.Itransferred this connection legally with the Airtel's approval
                              After 2 years - our tenant moved from my place and Iam not sure where he is and is not in touch.Last I heard was he was statying in abroad.
                              To my surprise - the bill on this number is unpaid and I have been recieving calls at odd hours of the night and people threatning me to pay the bills for the old number which I did not use.I was just the previous owner of this number.
                              To add to all these woes - they are sending people who are illetrate and goonds near my place for that guy who has left India and not paid the bills.
                              I even recieved an email from Airtel stating that I need to pay the money - even though it is not in my name.
                              Iam mentally being harrased and would like to take up this matter to Consumer Court and TRAI for cancellation of the license of AIRTEL.They are using moneypower and goondapower to harrass the poor customers.

                              Airtel — Worst Service - Mittal is cheating on people and not caring

                              Airtel is cheating on people. I have more than 100 complaints as trold over 121 and also sent thr' SMS. None is solved and resolved. They say we hope that you are satisfied with the resolution but when i ask them what is the resolution- they never send ANY SMS> I rate their service third class and I really want that nobody should have AIRTEL connection as their billing are in excess- ALWAYS. Mr Mittal is a cheat.. as he never talks to customers like me. I have sent sms many times asking for Mr Mittal or CEO to respond when nobody cares about resolutions to be provided to customers and at 121 they don't listen. He is minting money by befooling people of the country. I am planning a consumer court case As I have all proof with me). Now this is really too much. Now I am seeing that even if I am counting my each calls even then the daily call meters runs faster than the actual calls being made by me. AIRTEL- MEND your habits of cheating and give proper service to your customers. I am not able to sleep at night. The persons at 121 talks threatening language many a times and are not at all trained except to mist money by hook or crook...

                              Airtel — Illegal Business Practices

                              Hi,

                              I want to resister a complain against Aitel for Illigal Business Practices.

                              On 12th of july I requested to terminate one of my airtel number [protected]. I paid all my dues on the same date, Infact some money was paid in extra which was later transfered to my new number o My request.

                              But these airtel guys didn't terminated my number one one pretext or another.

                              Later one a bill of Rs. 223.60/- was generated and was automatically paid by ICICI as the number was resgistered on ICVBP.

                              When I called airtel to ask why a bill is generated after a termination request is sumitted. They informed me that the request for termination is submitted on 29th of august to legalized their point.

                              I don't have any documantary proof as everything was done through call.

                              Please help as It is a matter of consumer rights and harassment.

                              I had an Airtel postpaid connection from nearly past 3 years .In this have been facing number of bill related issues which were solved to some extent after long follow-ups. but my patience was tested in june 2008 when I got request to pay o/s amount bill which i had already paid in month of may and got a receipt from airtel relationship center .inspite of my repeated reminders and number of emails and calls the amount was not reversed and they disconnected my line in august this years inspite of no mistake of mine and also deducted whole amt from the security deposit .to add on still am bugged by calls from airtel to pay the pending amt where as i have paid the amt twice (one for which i have receipt and second they deducted from deposit).Now after so much followup I strongly feel this is how Mr mittal builds his business empire.

                              Bharti Airtel Limited (Landline Connection) — Amount of Rs 500 to be refunded by Airtel which is pending since mid-October 2007

                              I moved to Noida in October 2007 and applied for Airtel Landline connection by paying a sum of Rs 500. Due to some problem stated by the Airtel personnel the landline connection could not be installed. Therefore, I applied for another connection and was assured by the Airtel installation person that Rs 500 would be refunded to me at the earliest. The amount till date is still under process.

                              When I realized that Airtel has no intentions of refunding my money I called customer care 121 in September 2008 and detailed the problem. I was given a reference number and assured that the amount would be refunded to me in 10 days or so and also that some senior executive would call to check on this but no one bothered. When I did not receive the amount I called the second time and a reference number was given yet again. Now every time that I call to check on the status I am very confidently reassured by Airtel customer care executives that the amount is under process

                              Through customer care I came to know about the Nodal office. I called on 14th November 2008 and spoke to Anoop, narrated the entire episode and he too promised that the amount will be refunded in 10 working days. After 10 days instead of the cheque I got a call from Airtel executive who told me that it will take another week for the cheque to arrive. However when I didnt receive any cheque I called the Nodel office on 18th December 2008 and spoke to Anoop again who told me to write to the Nodel officer and fax or email a copy of the cash receipt. Since then I have sent 8-10 emails and called innumerable times and spoke to Anoop who kept saying that I'll get a call which I haven't as yet.

                              I, as a customer is extremely disappointed that such a reputed company like Airtel is not as prompt in refunding the money as it is in taking. I am going through such an ordeal to get back the money I so rightly deserve I wonder what happens when bigger amounts are involved. It is sad that when our payments are delayed even by a day we are bombarded with calls and when it comes to refunding there is no sense of responsibility or ethics!

                              Calls to Nodal Officer went responded by his juniors...he is a very busy person hardly available...what is a NODAL OFFICER????

                              This is almost March...important time for we Chartered Accountants...& we are sitting with disconnected phone & Broadband line...imagine.

                              Is Mr. Sunil Mittal listening? How can a Company of Airtel's stature make such arbitrary decisions & in whose interest? Who will re-imburse the loss we are going to incurr? Mr. Mittal or his team of stupid Managers...with hefty pays & MBA degrees? Do they know their customers?                               i lost my mobile with airtel number prepaid sim with mobile number [protected] on 28th april 09 at around six in the evening . whne i tried calling it back, it was sowtched of . But within an hour it was sitched on and trying to call it i found the phone busy as for sure which meant that the person in poseesion of the phone was calling from same number somewhere .

                              I called up 198 the customer care to atleast kep the track of the calls made in future from the same sim card with my mobile number for if i knew the numbers wihc were called up after the mobile was stolen, it cud easily be possible to track the person who hsd stolen or taken away my mobile . But apart telling the customer care t odo so, the response was that they cudnt do anything other than issuing a duplicate sim.

                              I therefore complain that the company is only concerned wit h earning profits . at leas they should try to keep the security of the customers in view as it even does not avail us of our right to defend the illegal use of our sim, which is harmful for us and our people for sure.

                              Bharti Airtel Limited — Activation of Services with approval

                              Hi,

                              I have a Airtel Prepaid mobile number in Pune (Mah.), I was not using the number in last 2 months that is between 12th Oct. to 12th Dec, during this duration I used Airtel number only once, on 17th November for recharging my phone and also made a call.

                              For this period my mobile was switch off, but still some how a Cricket pack got activated on my number on 12th Nov. and I was being charged for that till 13th Dec.

                              When I called the customer care of 13th Dec. they deactivated the service and refused to return me the money deducted for the service which I never wanted and never activated myself.

                              I was charged for a service which got activated with out my confirmation and request. After multiple discussions with the Airtel Customer care team I was always told that they have ticket for the same, ticket number being[protected], and later on they told me that they cannot return me the money they have deducted with out tell me the reason. The only reason they told me was that "they cannot return it".

                              This not the first time the same thing is happening to me, few months back a matrimony pack got activated on my number.

                              I want Airtel to return the amount deducted for such unwanted services, which I never activated and never intended to use.

                              My concerns are:

                              a) Why a false reference number is given without logging a call?
                              b) Why the false time commitment is done?
                              c) The most important is that when you had advance money paid, how can the connection be disconnected.

                              I am sure, shd you or your office is in receipt of this mail, will instruct the people concerned to ensure the immediate restoration of services along with setting up the tight process for call logging, monitoring and tracking till closure.

                              On Mar 5 2010 - I recieved a call from Mr.Deepak from Guargon stating that he is from the Airtel Digital TV team and he saw my email and complaint.He expressed his unhappiness and empthised for the inconvinience.He said he will forward this serious complain to the concerned team and wil work to resolve the same.

                              On the same day at around 9pm - I recieved an another call from Mr Jayanth - from Guargon stating that he has been nstructed by the previous person to help me and resolve this issue.He took down the numbers of the "Goondas" - posing as courier agents who are threatning and using illegal and unethical ways of business.

                              I also want to mention that the courier guys now called me directly as a Airtel legal team and threatned that they would make my life miserable if I do not pay them .

                              These are the mobile numbers which Iam recieving calls from the Goondas.

                              I would also like to mention that I f i try to call them from any other mobile excluding mine - iam not able to reach themHowever they can call me and I can cal them only from my number.

                              I have applied for Airtel broadband + IP TV connection on 2 sep. 2010 ( Reference no. 8570508) a guy (Pawan Sharma) has come on 3 sep. 2010, and collected all papers and Cheque of Rs. 1750 and he assured me that connection will be done by 6 sep. 2010 max. Form no. is 2364566. On 7 sep. 2010 I made call on 121 and they have registered complaint and give complaint no.[protected] and told me that you will get call back by tomorrow. Than I again call on 121 on 8 sep. 2010 (after minimum 30 min hold ) they give me another complain no. 37401866 and give me assurance that you will get call back by 9 th before 12.0 clock. No call made by them.

                              Than I again call on 121 and than again I got one complaint no. i.e. 37439510. Please anyone suggest me how to get either connection or my money back.

                              I got amazingly inexpressible experience and thanks to your highly educated staffs that don’t even understand Hindi (our National Language) or English (our Work Language) over the phone and don’t make any effort to read your customer’s email. And why am I giving this comment since the MID SEPTEMBER 2010 I started following up with your staff for some request in India and after that I traveled to overseas and from here (Lagos) also am giving countless International calls and sending many emails to your illiterate staff and still YOUR SO CALLED COMPETENT STAFF is clueless about the right course of action.
                              For the last whole month, I am suffering mentally and monetarily because of your SO CALLED COMPETENT STAFF, my aged father is also in trouble in INDIA and again THANKS GOES TO YOUR COMPETENT STAFF. MY MANY-MANY THANKS TO YOUR MS.HARSHI MEHRA ALSO who is an Appellate Authority who even doesn’t read customer emails, who doesn’t even understand the instructions given to her over the phone in Hindi and English Language.
                              I made simple two requests which I am going to mention once again here for your better understanding and whatever trail mail I have exchanged so far is enclosed here for your kind reference purpose.
                              First of all, below points are FOR YOUR KIND INFORMATION:
                              1. I am using airtel services from the year 2000 (a period of long ten years)
                              2. Presently, I have two post paid airtel mobile nos. in my name:

                              b. [protected]
                              3. These days I am not in India. I am here in Lagos, Nigeira.
                              4. My local nos. in Lagos-Nigeria are[protected] AND[protected].
                              5. I am not using any India mobile no. here in Lagos.
                              6. If airtel wants to reach for any further clarification then please write me an email at [protected]@yahoo.co.in or call me at my International phone nos. (if airtel have capacity to pay for any international calls)
                              My two requests about which I wrote many emails to Appellate Authority and Nodal Officer from Airtel:
                              1. Mobile No.[protected] – Please put this no. under safe custody since I am not in India these days. I will come back to India and will start using it.
                              2. Mobile No.[protected] – Please don’t touch this number since this mobile I have given to my father to use it in India for any local or STD/ISD calls in my absence. And airtel need not to worry about the payment of bills, I will be taking care of the same.

                              Dear Mr.Sunil Mittal, if the above mentioned information and requests are not clear to you even then please do let me know since I have already wasted quite good amount of time, energy and money to make your staf[censored]nderstand……..
                              Even after that your Competent airtel staff disconnected/ blocked my BOTH the numbers in India and my father is in trouble since he doesn’t have any mobile because of idiotic actions of your staff. Besides earlier for the whole 10 days your customer care staff had given enough trouble to my father asking him about disconnection of airtel services.
                              DO YOU FIND ANY DISCONNECTION REQUST FROM ME IN THE ABOVE INSTRUCTIONS????
                              And further, Can you tell me who is going to pay for:
                              1. My Valuable time and energy which I wasted with your staff for continuously more than a month for my simple request with Airtel telecommunication services.
                              2. My Countless International calls which I made to India to explain my request to your staff.
                              3. My Countless National calls which I made in India to your staff in the month of September 2010 to explain my same request.
                              4. Trouble given to my aged father.
                              And still your staff is taking idiotic actions towards my request and troubling me here at Lagos and troubling my father as well there in India.

                              Airtel — Miss selling and wrong commitment

                              I am writing this post with reference to my transation done with airtel in the form of airtel broadband connection. I took new connection from Airtel. Mr. Santosh came to explain offer and all. Since he belongs to airtel so I had a utmost of good faith that whatever Mr.santosh will tell me will be the word of only airtel. But I was wrong that I was carrying this king of assumption in my mind. He cheated me and over and above company cheated me badly. What ever the commitment given by Mr. Santosh and his manager on phone in terms of refundment of instalation charge in two consecutive month with one one gift that is Reebok watch which I was suppose to receive in 5 working days after the connnection get installed.

                              I'm getting unwanted messages daily to my inbox. they don't look decent also. the messages asking the one to download models in bikini, glamorous actress photo shoot, Chinese models in glamor dress, etc, etc. Usually I ignore those messages. but now a days deleting them has become a big job for me.
                              I'm really wondering, why you don't think about the younger generation who receive these type of messages. I think you don't have any social responsibility.

                              Bharti Airtel — recharge not done and not picking up calls now.

                              I did a recharge of rs 34 on 5th feb. But it didnt get the the benefits of it. Then I called customer care and they told me that I would get the recharge by 1st march 10:00 am. But I didnt get it. Then I called again and they told me I woukd get it by 4 pm but again i didnt get it.
                              Then I called again and they told me that till now the comlaint wasnt forwarded till now and now he will forward the complaint now and disconnected the call and when I tried to call again then didnt direct me to customer care executive from my number. Then I called from my friends no and when I told him that I was told that I would get the recharge by this time then he said that u werent told this and disconnected the call.
                              Airtel is no longer the same company it used to be . They are now being operated from the back end. Any stupid person from the back end without visiting or closing the customer complaint resolves it . Most probably they are making money out of local conveyance without visiting . At my house internet is not working and they are charging me for a higher speed. Any number of complaints, the standard reply is that our engineers have informed that all is well . And they have no human being working for them, it is only a call center where it seems uneducated people work, or they have machines.

                              I only wish the facility to change landline operater as in the case of mobile comes faster, and I am sure Airtel will be the biggest looser .

                              Airtel is working like a machine and this company not listening any customers from last 3 months.
                              This company is only garneting bills and collecting payments from customers. This company is not

                              This mail is in utter frustration after following up with your AirtelDTH customer care for last 20 days. I bought a multi-room connection and it required multiple follow-up to get the STB installed. Since then it's almost 15 days none of the channels are activated.

                              1. I called up customer care.They logged complaint 5894001. No action after that
                              2. I called customer care again, they said complaint is being forwarded. Where I do not know. No action again
                              3. After that called up customer care several time and the response has always been that some one will contact within 3 Hrs but no has ever contacted.

                              I think Rs 999 has gone complete waste. In case you are listening to this post, I would expect some action.

                              Airtel/ Postpaid Connection — Threatening Calls for pending bill, even when I am ready to settle the amount

                              This is to bring in your kind notice that I have been using [protected], since Sept'2010. The no was purchased from Haldwani & the average bill which I use to get was Rs 2000, which was paid regularly.

                              In month of Jan, I shifted to Haryana & the usage on this no. declined as I was using my Haryana no. but even then my bill was Rs 2400 for the month of Jan.'11 which was strange for me.

                              I spoke to some one in Haldwani Office, they said they will forward my request & will respond to me soon.

                              In between my no. was bard around 20th of Jan'2011, & I got a call from Mr. Danish [protected] from merrut, it was really nice to talk to him as he was quite helpful & we settled that within 7 working days I will pay Rs 2000 for final settlement & Rs 1000 for advance rental plan. He said me to give him a call once I pay the amount but unfortunately I forgot to safe his no.

                              Meanwhile I din't do anything & the no. remained bard.

                              In Last week of Feb. I again got a call from Haldwani & the guy told me that my bill is Rs, 2800, I don't know that how as my no. was bard.

                              Now today 21st March I again got call from Mr.Danish saying my bill is some Rs, 3400, & why din't I pay the bill & I told him that I was not able to save his no. due which payment was not made & requested him to kindly let me know about the final settlement but instead of helping me he started threating me & talked very rudely. He said that my no. was bard on 18th Feb'2011 & I am say a lie, as his system says something else.

                              After few minutes of his call some Mr. Rakesh [protected] called on my finance's no., & threatened her to tell me to pay my bill or else he will come to her place to take the bill.

                              Mr. Himashu, this is has been really a bad experience from Airtel as I have also used Airtel before.
                              Hi All,

                              This is regards of the problem that i am facing from the time i took Airtel DTH which is my life's biggest mistake.

                              This is leading to the complete unsatisfactory and pathetic image for Airtel.

                              This started when i too this connection because that it was like a beautiful castle tat you show it to your customer because you have to take money and after that even if customer is calling for anything, Airtel hardly cares about the same.

                              The time i took this connection i am facing connection problem, i raised this complaint n no. of times but nothing changed because nobody is ready to take responsibility. Once in a while we'll be able to talk to the so called Custome Services Executive because half of the time when we try calling you, you straight away disconnect the call or it never gets connected.

                              Airtel's so called Customer services executives are not capable to work and respond customer properly because they are worth for nothing. Whenever you tell them any problem either they put you hold or disconnect your calls. Customers are never able to speak to the MANAGERS because either they don't come on phone or every time we gets response that nobody is available which shows that capability of Airtel.

                              I am total aware about the complete procedure as i am also the process head in BPO's only and worked with Airtel also but still if you tell the SO CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICES EXECUTIVES, they are not ready to help customer and disconnect the call.

                              I spoke to 4 executive names Rajesh, Kusum/ khushbu, Kapil and Jitender pawar as i am facing connection problem with my DTH connection and instead of helping, e out they disconnected my call and also after asking for the manager, No manabger came on line and response i got that nobody is available and and call been disconnected by agent without informing as i was on hold.

                              I am really not able to understand the behavior as this is not once or twice, its every month's problem that i am facing. And the Best part is that only Airtel's CSEs and Managers are not worth of nothing but also the Nodel Officer also as i have contacted the Nodel officer of my region names Arun Kumar[protected] and again the same thing happened as i have tried contacting the Nodel Officer entire day but no connection and nobody picked the call.

                              Kindly let me know that what should i do as it getting out of my mind and i am feeling like that i have been trapped by Airtel and you dis FRAUD with me with this connection.

Complain lodged through customer care is CBDAL[protected] dated 14 Apr 11 for refund of amount.Staff confirmed to wait till 15 Apr 11 up to 1700hrs. After contacted staff confirmed to wait till 1800 hrs. Now customer care is not attending my call. Please do needful to credit amount in my account as I am a bonafide Air tel customer.                               I m sorry to say that Airtel is not as before, very poor response towards the customer complaints. My name is Hitesh Bhoir, i stay in Thane, Maharashtra. My no.is [protected]. I m NRI this card is in my name. bcoz of some reasons last 1 year this card was not recharge, when i was back to india i found that outgoing call has been disconnected and only incoming service was working. I complaint to start the outgoing service, i gave all the documents required to activate the outgoing, even from gallery(Airtel gallery at Harinivas area) it was confirmed that within 4 hours service will start as normal... Nothing happened. After 2 days again i went to Airtel gallery for the same, again i got assurence from the gallery that within 1 hour my service will be started... right now its more that 4 hours... I think now last option for me is to change the service provider. I think Airtel is making good money and they doesnt care for the customers after the sales...
                              I[censored] will think for atleast 1000 peoples like me then it will definately make some difference for Airtel in coming future...

                              Since last one year, Bharti Airtel Limited, an esteemed organisation, has gone from good to bad, in all matters, especially, if any Corporate Clients have entered into "ECS" payment to Airtel.

                              Various telephone numbers, which have been Surrendered and confirmed by your department
                              ie. Airtel Customer Care Cell, as Deactivated, payments are still being recovered from our holding Bank account, due to E C S, of such telephone numbers, which are NOT in Use, as well as SURRENDERED.

                              It is really a shame, on the part of the Management, to dupe Corporate Clients in this manner.
                              As on date, we have to recover atleast 50 k from Bharti Airtel Limited, against various telephone numbers, which have been surrendered and deactivated .

                              Hope someone will heed to our request and do something about the recovery process or atleast guide us in recovering the said amount from you or Bharti Airtel Limited .

                              I had ordered a digitalTV connection online on 26th May using payment through debit card, but the installation has not been done yet.
                              I have discussed this with customer care for more than 6 times and have wasted around 2 hours in that, but everyone has given false assurance.

                              Following are the details of major calls from me to Airtel customer:

                              1. 27 May 08:07 pm; Call duration: 06 mins. 17 seconds; Customer Care tarnsferred the call to some other department. They promised that the installation will be done by 28 May 2:00 pm.
                              2. 28 May 11:28 pm; Call duration: 11 mins. 06 seconds
                              3. 27 May 11:40 am; Call duration: 19 mins. 03 seconds
                              4. 27 May 01:18 pm; Call duration: 06 mins. 06 seconds;
                              5. 27 May 07:24 pm; Call duration: 01 hour 06 mins. 06 seconds
                              In the first 4 calls, it was promised that the connection will be installed latest by 3:00 pm. In one of the calls, promise was made by a Supervisor (someone Zahid or Wahid, don't remember exactly) in the Call Center. He assured that he will call me back within 4 hours to check whether it has been installed or not, but I didn't receive any call from him.
                              Fifth and last call from me was for more than an hour. Shift in-charge at the call center (I think, his name is Shiv Gopal) told that he will personally look into the matter and promised that the connection will be installed by the end of 29 May.

                              I have dropped a mail to [protected]@airtel.in as well, but no response has been received. I am getting frustrated with the false promises and am loosing faith in Airtel. Please get my issue resolved. Also instruct your people not to make false promises.

                              Airtel Landline — In Someone Else's Name

                              Hi my name is Alok Bhandari. The account name is in my Mother’s name :- Nam Bhandari. The landline number is[protected]. The experience with Airtel Broadband connection has not been a pleasant one. I just got swaitched off to from Bsnl to Airtel because of poor customer service. Fistly, the modem was not working. Then the modem got replaced.
                              The main crux issue is that My Lanlline number should be in my my mother’s name rather than somebody else Bhanu Prasad Sharma. I receive call at this number asking abt him. I do not undersatand why did not they give ma new number when I had made the full payment. I cannot make outgoing calls. When contacted customer service department they rather than being honest beat around the bush and try to be diplomatic. Finally they admitted that the connection is in somebody else name and there is some error or confusion. It is highly furstating and irritating. The TAT they have given me is upt to is 30/07/2011.
                              I would really appreciate if this kind request could be considered and some action could be taken immediately understading the customer’s patience that he is making the full payment yet he at least does not expect this kind of service from airtel.

                              Hi my name is Shakeel Gafoor and I have been using Airtel Broadband Services from the past one & a half Year with Fixed Line Number[protected]. I have faced countless problems using Airtel Broadband and Landline Services till today but after contacting Airtel Services about 20 to 25 Times, sending emails almost 15 times I used to get my issue resolved within 4 day to 5 days after requesting so many times.

                              At present I have relocated to my new residential address which is almost 2 Km's away from my initial residential address where my Broadband was installed first. I shifted to new address on July 1st 2011 so as per required procedure I called Airtel customer services to shift my broadband connection to my new address and Airtel Customer Services Representative promised that ( Re Installing Broadband Connection ) at my new address will be done in next 5 days. I waited till 7TH July 2011 but didn't get any response from Airtel, so on 7th July 2011 I contacted Airtel to check my Request status and I was shocked to hear that my Service Request has been Closed because Airtel called me various times and I didn’t pick up my phone, even when I have 3 different Telephone numbers registered with Airtel Customer services. I was very disappointed with the closure of my service request as my issue was still not resolved or looked into yet. But even then I again requested Airtel Representative to forward my request for the reinstallation of Broadband services at my new residential address. At that point of time I was told that reinstallation will be done with in next 7 days as there would be system upgrade on Airtel Side. So I was expecting my services would be restored by 13TH July 2011 but once again didn't hear anything from Airtel, so I decided to callback the Airtel Customer Services on 13TH July 2011 and to my utter disappointment I heard that my service will restored in 22 days because of the system upgrade . However on giving the complete information to this Airtel representative about the number of calls I have made to Airtel and the wrong commitments given by Airtel to me he assured me that he will try to escalate the case to Back End and get the resolution as soon as possible but the maximum time to resolve this issue would 22 days from my earlier service request created on 7TH July 2011. I called Airtel Customer Services on 22nd July 2011 to check if their is any further action being taken on my service request but I got reply that their no information available as if now due to system upgrade happening till 22nd July. I contacted Airtel customer services again on 27th July 2011 and found that my first request put forward by me was documented on 22nd July only, which was a shocker for me. I requested representative to connect my call to supervisor and on speaking with supervisor he was able to see all my earlier conversation documentation and this time supervisor promised that I will get a callback in 4 hours related to present status of my request. So I thought to wait for 4 hours but then found no one called me back even in 4 days time. Once again disheartened requested Airtel about the progress on 1 August 2011 and that time I spoke with supervisor Shadab and he promised I will get my Broadband connection restored in 2 days time but as expected I didn’t find any one calling me or restoring my services so I called in again so many times now that I even lost count of the number of calls I have made to Airtel customer services. Finally I spoke with Babu Khan Rep from Airtel, he connected my call to Supervisor Ajith V.K (His Manager is Praveen Kumar) and again I was told that I will get a callback in 2 hours time but still no response. I do have a recorded conversation with me for my almost 10 calls made to Airtel customer services and in every call there is a false commitment done by Airtel.

                              This is my last request to Airtel about my broadband services to be restored ASAP. Otherwise my only option would be to send emails to every single organization you are associated with in India or abroad and let them know about how customers are being treated by Airtel Customer services. I can promise you that.

                              Dear Mr. Mittal,

                              This is to bring to your notice how efficient and capably staff is employed at Airtel and how Customer friendly they are and responsible.

                              I’m a resident of Dwarka Sub-City in New Delhi and I have applied for a IPTV connection on the 16th of July 2011 when I saw a sales camp at my apartment. For which I paid in cash INR 1750/- (One Thousand Seven Hundred and Fifty Only). This was because the sales guy (Rahul Singh – [protected]) promised me that the connection will be given on the 18th of July 2011. But it has been more than 3 weeks now and still no connection. For which I have made 2 formal complaints to Airtel Customer Care[protected] one on the 18th july 2011 and the complaint number for this is 49063384, for which I get a call on the 21st July 2011 and they said they have some system upgrade going on and will give the connection the 22nd July 2011, for which I requested them to come on the 27th July 2011 since I was traveling to visit my wife and my 5 month old son. As committed by me I reached Delhi on the 27th July 2011 even though I could have extend my stay and spent some more time with my family, but no call or response from Airtel team.

                              Aside again on the 28th when I made a complain at the call centre they gave a new complain number 1386440 and confirmed the installation will be done in another 4 days. But waited till 1st of August 2011 and then visited Airtel Corporate Office in Udyog Vihar on Delhi – Gurgaon, It was a worst experience than going to American Embassy for Visa. And finally when I reached the reception, no once came to meet me understand the issue and I was connected to Mr. Sachin Walia ([protected]) over the phone and he took another lady Ms. Shalini Verma ([protected]) on a conference call with me and the later promised me that the issue will be resolved in 2 day but she will make sure I get a connection by 4 days. But no connection till 5th August 2011 and when I again tried to reach Mr. Sachin he told me that he ahs been transferred to Ahmadabad and I have coordinate with Ms. Shalini and will help me. But this lady had taken my number on the 1st August 2011 and no call back by her and when I call her she always disconnected my calls.

                              And finally I get a call from Mr. Parveen ([protected]) on the 6th of August 2011 and he confirmed that he has to install a DSL + Voice connection at my home and also told that I need to pay for the modem. But I told him that the connection booked by me was a IPTV connection which includes a Wi-Fi Modem + Telephone Instrument + a IPTV receiver. So he confirmed he can’t give me IPTV since I have only DSL + Voice connection with no modem. The only thing that happened was the wiring and nothing much on the 6th August 2011. But when I visited the Airtel office on the 6th August 2011 evening, the sales guy Mr. Rahul Singh and he put me across with Mr. Vikram ([protected]) and he told he will get it rectified by Monday (8th of August 2011) and get the connection done. But no connection on the 8th of August. So again I visit Airtel Dwarka office on the 8th of August and Mr. Amit Singh ([protected]) how introduced himself as the centre head and told my connection will be done by 9th of August 2011, for which he put a cancellation and a new order from his end. For which I get a call from Airtel customer Care and they told me that my connection is cancelled, for which I again explained the whole case as mentioned above and told he better talk to his sales team who cancelled the connection, but not me.

                              Finally today is 10th of August 2011 and still waiting for my IPTV Connection like a JACKASS. Great Airtel has more than 170 million subscribers and yet no proper procedure, seems very funny.

                              Also for the record need: Mr. Amit Singh told me that the Airtel President’s In-Law’s are in Dwarka and they were not able to give them a connection due to some technical reason.

                              Doesn’t this sound a joke? Is the Airtel President paying my connection deposit and the expenditure incurred by me for all these days to fight to get this connection. Aside he is just a Airtel employee and I’m a customer. If you have more importance to Airtel Employee and not your Customer I would give a suggestion to you Mr. Sunil Mittal Shut shop for the entire customer, since your staff is busy give elite service to the employees and their In-Laws.

                              Now is their any responsible person who is capable in Airtel to just get my connection working ASAP. Also take a note of money being lost by me for not getting this connection on time.

                              Actual charges Paid to Airtel for IPTV Triple Play 1199 – INR 1750/- (One Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Only)

                              My Daily expenses due to no connection

                              Every day 45 Kms Travel to my office (My job profile involves work from home) is INR 500/- for my car petrol + INR 42/- for the Toll Gate = 542 x 20 days leaving Sundays = INR 10840/-

                              Me taking off for 5 days and not login waiting for the Airtel guys at home is INR 2403.33/- per day = 24033.33 x 5 days = INR 12016.66

                              Telephone charges calling all Airtel personals = INR 300/-

                              +

                              Interest for the base connection amount @5% per day is INR 87.5 per day = 87.5 x 24 day starting = INR 2100.

                              Additional to this all the mental trauma and the drama I have to go through = priceless.

                              Is Airtel going to Payback all the money if I have to cancel my connection? Mr. Sunil Its not acceptable to anyone to be treated this way. I can’t blame the whole company for one mans mistake. But here the flaw is in Airtel system and all are wrong. So it’s better to Blame one man than the whole system. In this case it’s you who have to be blamed. I’m also a telecom professional. But I have always been on my feet for the customer and always rectified any query or issues even if had to keep my family waiting. This is called customer service and support. Hope your team learns from me and my team.

                              Let me give a summary first,



                              I had been using Airtel Broadband service for ~4 years. On January 28th 2011 I initiated a request for the change of address from one location to another in the same city Bangalore, and got a comment that same will happen within 2-4 working days. My line got deactivated
                              from January 29th 2011 as it was required to process the address change
                              request.





                              Post this I was waiting for the reactivation of my line at my new address, that never took place and there were no information got shared with me. To know the status I even called customer care service and had a chat with Mr Tarun on March 19th at 3:40 PM.



                              As per discussion I asked him to provide the reason why Airtel is not being able to provide service at my new location. He promised that someone will respond to my query but again I heard nothing back.



                              Now though my line got deactivated on 29th January 2011, but Airtel seeks me to pay Rs 3501 that includes February and March too.



                              I raised my above stated concern through mail, for which I got a response (what this mail chain also suggests):



                              “We would like to inform you that your issue has been registered under the Reference Id 455518 and the same will be addressed by shortly".



                              But Today I came to know that Airtel is filing a case against me in a session court at Gwalior as I received a call from Lawyer Mr Arun Sherma ([protected])



                              I am really amazed to see the insensible and lackadaisical approach shown by such big organization like Airtel.



                              I am still surprised that this is the price I am paying for being Airtel customer for almost 4 years.

                              However I did have a pending complain from last 40 days related to plan migration to 699 (2mbps speed, unlimited download and Rs 1700/- call free per month).
                              I raised a formal request by email on 14th July 2011 and since then I have sent nearly 20 email in this regard to 121, nodal and appellate officer. Unfortunately my complain has not been resolved yet. After 10 days they come back saying this plan is discontinued today. I do not know they were waiting for plan discontinuation to reply my email?

                              Sorry to bring this to your attention, but Airtel service in Mumbai has simply become a breeding ground of 'gundas'. After using it for a few months I wanted to change my plan, but the representative said that is not possible. Instead, he said I need to apply for a new connection and close my old connection. I did get myself a new connection and called the customer service centre to close my old connection. I had also paid whatever outstandings was there for this connection. They said that they have closed the connection. Now 2 months after this, the Airtel people are threatening me day and night, saying that the connection was never closed and I have to pay the rentals for these 2 months. They have also started sending goons to my house, who were literally on the verge of abusing me, as I am a single lady staying alone.

Why I am repeatedly receiving calls from other mobile numbers why not from Airtel's valid service number which is [protected], it seems my data is shared to third party without any notice, Its a Data Protection Act, I will file a case in the court against Airtel for sharing my data to third party, I am warning Airtel to stop this Illegal ppractises else my last step is to Approach Media.

                              My question to Airtel is that is this the way Airtel behaves with its customers in such unprofessional way, why such uneducated employes are hired by Airtel to abuse customers? Adjustments which was given to me every month were all justified as I am facing a lot of issue with non covergae location and call drops issue is very frequent on my connection, all the adjustments which was given to me are shown in the bill how can they be cancelled anytime, this is not the way to behave, it is a very stupid act which Airtel is following in this month's bill I have recieved a Reversal of Rs 1248 for all the adjustments if it is not removed I will not sit quiet, Airtel is following unappropriate practices Its a MENTAL HARRASMENT which Airtel is doing with me I have gone under High Depression. First I have recieved such Abusive calls from Airtel and than my justified adjustments are cancelled.

                              Its very hard to digest that Airtel is behaving in such worst way.My Second question is why these Nodal Desks and Amplette desk are made for when the executives sitting on them fool the customer they even don't fulfill their commitment, on 22nd August I called up Amplette desk and narrated the same Issue to MONIKA she assured me that she will escalate the issue and will look into the matter and will get back to me in 48hrs however she never turned up after that I again called Amplete desk twice to speak to her and I was told that she will call me back with in two hours however she never called from last 3 days I have called numerous times to Nodal Desk to customer care and also to Amplette desk however no one has given me a valid answer, now where should I approach, Airtel services has gone worst these days, in my life my First connection when I started using cellphone was Airtel that point of time services and network of Airtel was the best as compared today it is the worst.

                              Internet on my number [protected] is not working since 27th September 2011.

                              I have raised requests which have either been closed without servicing or are still in the open states (beyond your scheduled SLA times).

                              I am not sure what you are doing to resolve the same from the above date but on my part i am not at all happy with the customer service from airtel that a simple request takes more than 18 days and that too it is still in the unresolved state.

                              Do let me know by when are you planning to resolve the problem and provide a permanent solution since this problem is recurring from the beginning.

                              As an update i would like to inform you that the service request that i had raised on 13th October has been again closed without processing.Can i know what is the reason for this?

                              My internet is still not working and neither do i see the intent on Airtel's part to rectify the problem quickly.

                              Airtel Broadband — Pathetic Response to numerous complaints - relevant actions taken and no results. Problem still persists!

                              I have been a customer of Airtel Broadband since 6 years in Bangalore and Delhi and was satisfied with their offerings and after sales services till the time I took a new broadband connection for my home.

                              Since last three months my internet connection is dropping at least 15 times in a day for 10 minute each. Here I would like to emphasize that my work is heavily dependent on internet connectivity and every second of disconnection can just wash away a very significant amount of transaction and downloads.

                              I had first called Airtel Broadband 3 months back in August stating my problem. They said they will not register the complaint and "observe" the problem (see the screenshots of my observation). After that I had called them at least 15 times in three months for the same issue but it was not resolved. Finally on September 5, they took my complaint as "legitimate" one and issued a complaint number along with a time commitment to resolve the issue. It never happened.

                              Since then, every time I call them, I hear their standard set of sentences "How may I help you. I am sorry for your inconvenience. Give me a chance to resolve your issue. What is your modem number and bla bla bla"... and believe me, after three months of daily suffering I dont give a to their help, sorry or modem number! I wonder why they had not put my modem number in their database at the time of installation... I have told them 15 times and yet when I call, they ask for my modem number!

                              So... yes, action was taken on complaints. My connection's new wiring was changed completely and I was assured that the link will not drop again, I was told to "observe" and check the modem status when the link drops, I was told that the modem will be changed (which BTW, never happened) and many more commitments from Airtel call center agents as well as their visiting engineers. As of now, the problem still persists. My internet connection is dropping at least 15 times in a day and it shows no connectivity for 10 minutes every time it drops. No sign of relief and a loss of business and mental health.

                              Airtel Broadband — replacement of wifi that less than 1 year old

                              Unfair practice of Airtel Basic and broadband services.

                              I bought the WIFI through Airtel on 19th June’11 vide 21354 by paying Rs. 1499/- in cash. Initially, I had the modem since 2005. On 1st Aug’11 I lodged a complaint as my broadband was not working. Engineer came and declared that WI FI that procured in June’11 is not responding so it needs to be replaced. I spoke to 198 helpline at airtel to replace this but the suggested to contact manufacture as same was in warranty. Manufacture refused to entertain me and requested to speak at airtel. Then I again lodged a complaint vide ref no 5538108 & 5618772, date 12th Oct’11. But these complains were closed without speaking to me. At last I lodged a complaint to disconnect my line as they are not honor my request and ready to believe that wifi is only 3-4 months old. Before disconnection I was been contacted by several persons from the airtel and assured me to replace my faulty wifi but nothing have been done and line got disconnected. Then I contacted the nodal office through email and register a request to resume my line vide ref no. 6383354, 6130044. Nodal officer had assured me to replace the same after verified the invoice (attached with mail).Consequently I requested to resume my lines with copy to [protected]@airtel.in. However nodal officer was agreed to replace the same and ensure me to wifi will be replaced by 29th Oct before 9.18 hrs vide 6344578 dated 28th Oct’11. Sice no one had turned up I again contacted to customer care for replacement. This time I got shocked to know that the service request no 6344578 was been closed as same has been replaced by Zafar, mob # [protected].

                              After that I contacted nodal officer and appellate at airtel and briefed the problems I have been facing by dealing with airtel.

                              Today I got a mail from nodal office that order/request no 6344578 has been revoked without giving any reason and my all requests have also been closed including request that was registered with appellate ( ref no 42132709 dated 3/11/11) to restore the line and replace wifi. Then I again contacted the customer care to reactivate my line vide 6719648, 01/11/11.
                              Dear Airtel,

                              I am a FRUSTRATED customer of your PATHETIC telecom company!

                              I have been facing issues of wrongful deduction of balance for so long that it seems that it is a regular policy of your company to harass its customers. The instances have been outlined here for your perusal:

                              Instance 1 - One day out of the blue, I received an sms saying that my free caller tune has been activated which was followed by another sms saying that I have been charged Rs. 30.00 for the same. Then after several unending & torturous hours of trying to contact your customer service, I got through to one guy only to be hanged upon. Several attempts & explanations later I could finally talk to someone after which the money was refunded.

                              Instance 2 - Again I received an sms saying that some sms subscription service has been activated and for that Rs. 5.00 have been deducted. Again I had to go through the never-ending process of calling your "world-class" (full of sarcasm in case you didn't realize) customer service. When I finally got through, I explained the whole issue and again got the refund. I also got DND activated.

                              Instance 3 - This is the incident that happened today i.e. 16/12/2011 around 6:00 PM. I got a recharge done for the sms pack. I get a monthly recharge done for Rs. 36.00 which gives 1000 local + national sms for one month. I opted for the same again. Before getting the recharge done I confirmed with the shop-keeper about the plan and he also confirmed that this sms pack was for local & national smses both. After getting the recharge done, I received an sms from airtel which i quote verbatim; "Recharge Successful on[protected] at 06:17 PM. Talktime Rs. 1.00. MRP Rs. 36.00. TransID[protected]. 1000 local+national sms, 100 per day."
                              Post this I tried calling your tedious customer service yet again wherein your service rep transferred my call to the supervisor. The supervisor told me that this particular pack had been changed from today i.e. from 12 AM in the morning and that now it includes only local sms.

                              I take this service pack only for sending national sms, so what the heck am I supposed to do with the local sms balance. And this happens without the company even bothering to inform the retailers or customers about the change in the product (even after 19 hours of the change being in effect). And to top all that, the company is still sending recharge success sms with the old details.

                              All the above may be menial amounts to you but for the common man they aren't. And just because Rs. 36.00 is a small amount does not justify your stupid company to con its customers. People had faith in your behemoth telecom company but it seems that it is slowly dwindling away now.

                              And in addition to all my woes, your customer service is just plain pathetic & obnoxious. Whenever I try to call your customer service, instead of the options of what number to press, I get to hear about your stupid promotions & new plans and at the end it just mentions that to repeat the menu I should press 0. How the [censored] am I supposed to know what key to press if I do not even get to hear the options??!!? Same is the case with your customer complaint no. (198).

                              I have 4-5 airtel connections in my family but if this is the kind of service that you guys are gonna provide then I seriously would consider switching to another service provider.

                              Please refund my money else I have extremely valid grounds to sue your company and claim damages.

                              Let me know the way forward. Although I am not even sure if I will even get a reply considering your company's past record of failures in providing even half decent customer service. These days when all the companies are trying to woo customers, the oldest and the most trusted telecom company (Airtel) has been consistently letting it's customers down. Its not just me who is frustrated but several of my friends & acquaintance toos. If this is the way your company is gonna be, the way forward, then you will surely lose your trusted customer base (or whatever is left of it).

                              AIRTEL customer care never responds to complaint emails. As rightly said AIRTEL CLOSES complaints on its own without any action to rectify the complaint.

                              AIRTEL also demands payments for services that were not provided.

                              I totally agree with all the above mentioned complaint chain mails. Bharti Airtel is no more the same. I am another customer hit by poor customer service and worst of its kind experience with Airtel service.

                              Since July 07, 2011, i have been logging a request with airtel to shift my airtel connection (fixed line and broadband) to a new house in the same locality.

                              They gave me false assurance that it will happen and did not even register the request into the system.

                              The services were not availed since 7July, but got to know just last week from the harassing call by the airtel legal department that we are suppose to pay the dues, in spite of paying the extra bills for July to airtel.

                              The calls are so damm torturous the lady out there says you are lying and the problem ref number doesn't exist in the system at all.

                              Whereas when i call the customer care again they can see my registered complaint by the same number.

                              Whats the whole point of centralized system, the legal dept lady is insanely manner-less and talks nonsense, not ready to even listen.

                              I am sorry to say Bharti Mittal ji, customer should be treated as a guest in your house but if you can't then don't claim for what you have been doing in the name of the customer care services.

                              Your millions of customer care executives cannot resolve my issue they claim that we are not the right person, do u also don't have that power is my question???? Who is that right person???

                              We was an old standalone connection of Airtel at our D-12, Okhla Phase 1, site, in which we need some minor changes in plan but Bharti Airtel never make it possible. We was used 3333 plan in that connection but Airtel replied us that you are using standalone connection. I was surprised how Airtel make it possible to given 3333 plan which only comes with voice & data connections. Bharti Airtel suggested to me surrender the old connection & purchase a new one. In which they given me same static ip (122.176.35.195) used in old plan in this new connection. But Airtel executive told us that it is a chargeable service and changes charge is Rs. 2500/-. I doesnt understand that old static ip is surrender by us with condition of after we surrender the plan. Bharti Airtel was bind us to surrender the old plan.

                              The above issue is raise due to Bharti Airtel department, we face lots of problem in our official work. Our warranty claim is pending for last 1 months, But Airtel doesnt want to understand our problem & not even provide assistance. Bharti Airtel only want to earn for any how. If they doesnt care of a corporate & old client. We are using their connection in all our showroom & workshops in Delhi NCR in the name of Regent Automobiles Private Limited, Regent Garage Private Limited, Excel Car Private Limited, Audi Delhi etc. I am surprised if they provide such nonsense service to me, then what kind of service an individual expect from them.                               I have a very small concern which rises a very important ethical concern as far as business and customer satisfaction is concerned.

                              I registered my application for a new connection in on 07/11/2011 16:20:39 via application No: ONGHAZI00009733 and reminded Airtel for delay in connection on 30/11/2011 10:21:32 AM (Riff: No.7568190). That was approximately 2.5 months form today.

                              Due to the reluctance on my concern from airtel I switched over to a different service provider (which now I am very satisfied of) and asked for a refund on 20/12/2011 06:21:30 PM (Riff: No 9082744) which is one month from today.

                              In reply to my mail yesterday i.e on Jan 18, 2012 airtel asks that I should weight for one more month for for another mail that will again ask me to weight for one more month.

                              I guess 500 Rs is not a big amount for anyone today but I do not know why Airtel responds this way (specially to a customer which is with airtel from last 3 years)

                              I have decided to switch over to a different service provided where they respect there customer better.

                              I do not want any resolution as i am sick and tired of contacting Airtel.

                              Had put a simple telephone and broadband shifting request from one area to another, within the city.
                              This request was not processed for 25 odd days despite several follow-ups.
                              Being depressed and unhappy, i had put a cancellation request on 25-Nov-2011, which was happily accepted by the team and i received a mail confirming that my outstanding was 766. I paid the amount immediately and was hoping that my landline would get cancelled.

                              To my surprise, this did not happen and i received new bill by december...and then in Jan'12.

                              I have been repeatedly sending mails to [protected]@airtel.in with various mails and transction numbers, but they are not doing anything about it.

                              Today, i got a call, stating that i will receive a legal notice for not paying some amount. This is supposed to be airtel guys mistake...Why should i pay for it...

                              I just want to tell you that I am not just a consumer of your services but also am a shareholder in your company. I tend to judge the performance of a stock based on my experience of the service. If you notice, your company's share price has not been appreciating much in the last year or so. I believe that your company has begun to go downhill. This last statement is based on my experience which I would like to narrate. You see Mr. Mittal, I want to be a successful stock trader. In order to be successful, I need to practice my trading. So I take leave from my workplace and sit down to trade. Since August 2011, every-time I sat down to trade, your ADSL tends to go down making it impossible for me to trade. I have been making only one complaint since then till date and my problem has not been resolved. I instead received an e-mail stating that I am a platinum customer. When I call your call center, I am able to escalate this problem only up to to level of a supervisor. Beyond this level no one is accessible (believe me because I once tried convincing one of your supervisor's for 30 minutes before giving up). Funny part Mr. Mittal is that I too am the head of a Customer Servicing Team and I personally believe that if an organization wants to improve then a even the head of the organization must be accessible. This not happening in your organization is an indicator for me that the internals are beginning to rot. This probably happens with being at the number 1 spot for too long. Sir, unless you do something to stem this rot, I believe there will again come a day when Bharti Airtel's stock will be available at Rs. 29-30.

                              I am genuinely fed up of having to report the same issue for the past 7 months. I have even gone to the extent of telling your supervisors to give me something new to complain about and I may be happy, but having to complain about the same problem for so long is really really sad. If this is my experience as a Platinum customer, I can only imagine the hell that a normal customer would be going through in dealing with your company.

                                iam a 7months conceive person, the subject airtel number giving so many mis calls in the midnight & days.                                 Still the same has been continue with other similar airtel numbers,[protected],[protected]. Due to this my wife need to change her sim card and new number. But these callers disturbing my sleeps in the night by calling to UAE.

                                Could you please try to stop this type of disturbance, since one month iam not getting reply from your end about what airtel had done against this issue.

                                If you are not taking a proper action. I would like to go through legally with all these correspondence and against airtel & these numbers which you provided to the customers also for non response against my complaint.

                                While you are providng a sim, Airtel is collecting, address proof then after verification only the sim number has been activitated. If you are having the address proof for these numbers in your database, why you didn't take action against these callers by hand over to police.

                                Iam await for your quick action to stop these type of anonymus call.

                                  Airtel has launched so called my airtel my offer on *121# which its customer care executive says is common for all offer.
                                  On 3rd feb i checked *121# and offer said "On RC 100, get 200min talktime. (125 turant aur 75 in 48 hrs.). Same offer i confirmed with executive on 121 same day and did recharge. Till today i haven't got left 75 min talk value. After calling customer care again, executive says after checking details to call 12131 and not *121# for offer. Even after telling him whole story, he says he is helpless and asked me to check same offer on calling 12131, if it exists i should go to ARC. These offers keep o changing where they mention offer of the day just for you and this person(exec) asks for such solution.
                                  According to me Airtel has many a times succeeded in fooling and looting customers in some or other way. If they cant afford offers why do they offer it? Atleast twice in a year one needs to waste time in rounds of ARC where people say we don't have database, call 121 and circle continues. These companies think consumer is fool rather than consumer is king.

                                    Air Tel is making wrongful deductions from the available balance of pre-paid customers. In the past also on two occasions I had been wrongly charged for Hello Tune/Panchang.
                                    Today I received a msg in my mobile No.[protected] thanking for having subscribed to the Matrimony Service whereas I had not subscribed for the facility.
                                    After seeing the msg I had contacted the customer care centre and had lodged a complaint number[protected] following which I received the msg for unsubscription.

                                    Un-noticed the money gets deducted from the innocent customers and Airtel is making money through these unfair means.
                                    Airtel should stop these unfair means

                                      my name is MUZAMMIL.A.BAGALKOTI. sir i havent paid my broadband bill because of your office staff they call me regularly and i told them send your bill collector to collect my bill but they always says me that i will send a bill collector but he didnt came to collect the bill and on 27/7/10 they disconnect my broadband they have to inform me that you came and pay the bill that i can do but now the disconnected what a careless service they are providing

                                      I am Airtel Net user since long & my user ID is 15649882, recently my connection is shifted to 473, B-Sector, Sarvdharm Colony, Kolar Road, Bhopal. The earth work was completed 10 days before and modem was delivered to me on 03/09/10. In this matter it is inform to you that till today my connection could not be started due to technical fault & your technical department is not taking seriously. I had booked several compliant. Kindly look in to the matter personally and instruct concerned to take-up remaining work of installation immediately.

                                      i am muzammil a bagalkoti from belgaum i am having a link drop from last one month and there is no connectivity in data i am continouesly complenting in the airtel office but the problem is not solved everytime technician came and still i am having same problem i told in office that i will disconnect the connection they says ok u want to disconnect u can they dont want to solve the problem they want to disconnect my connection as i am complanting often is this right.

                                      initially i got 512 kbps plan.afterwards i changed my plan to 499 15 days ago. but iam getting only 256 kbps only.i called the customer care but there is no use &no resolution taken.they said engiineers will call you.they havent called till now
                                      when can i receive 512kbps back.
                                      can the authorities look into the problem seriously and make resolution as early as possible.
                                      I am from Belgaum...Our flat is located in tilakwadi which is one of the prominent area of the city, on 2nd floor from where i can see the tower located on the RPD cross...

                                      MY AIRTEL DOUNGLE BROADBAND SO CALLED 3G CONNECTION IS PATHETIC...I HAVE LOGGED SEVERAL COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE CONNECTION BEING NOT AS SAID WHILE I WAS BUYING THIS CONNECTION.

                                      FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE...JUST ONE WORD (DISGUSSTING). WHENEVER I CALL...I JUST GET TO HEAR ONE RESPONSE "THEY ARE FIXING THE ISSUE AND IT WILL BE SORTED WITHIN 2 DAYS".. AFTER ALL TRY I REACH OUT TO NODAL OFFICER AND AMPLETTE OFFICER...THEY ARE SAME AS CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENTS...DONT KNOW HOW THEY REACHED THAT POSITION...

                                        AIRTEL FAULTY ADMINISTRATION

                                        I have an Airtel Mobile SIM Card with No:[protected] which I have taken in December 2004 from M/s. Harikrishna Medical & General Stores, Ferozguda, Balanagar, Hyderabad. I am continuously using this number since then. On 30/01/2010. Recently I lost my Mobile phone as well as the SIM Card. When I contacted Airtel office for Blocking of my SIM, I was very much annoyed to note that the SIM number allotted to me was in the name of some Satyanarayana Reddy. I realized that I am using the SIM for the past 5 years which was not allotted to me.

                                        Similar bad experience I had with Airtel recently. Some 3 years ago, I had gifted a Cell phone to my daughter on her birth day with SIM No:[protected], which I applied for registration on my name. This also I purchased from the same dealer(M/s. HariKrishna Medical & General Stores). Recently, on 8/12/2009 my daughter lost her Mobile phone near and when she contacted the local Airtel office, she was shocked to note that the SIM was registered in the name of some Mallesh (Medak Dt.).

                                        While in both of my cases, AIRTEL has blundered beyond any reasonable excuse, what is the guarantee that similar blunders are not committed in case of lakhs of other subscribers. If that is case, the national security is at peril.

                                        I doubt whether there is any Customer care administration in Bharati Telecom? What is the guarantee that they are not allotting SIM cards to Anti nationals and criminals with the details obtained from innocent and genuine people.

                                        I advise the Bharati Telecom to check 100% the SIM card numbers vis-a-vis the individual original application forms for SIM cards immediately.

                                        I appeal to the Police department to consider my concern seriously and instruct the Bharati Telecom to start the exercise immediately and report to you back.

                                        when i insert my sim in my mobile it showing as defective sim after some times it working properly now again showing as defective sim...give me the solution for this problem
