Hi ,
I want to bring this incident to your attention.I had an airtel number which I transferred to my tenant.Itransferred this connection legally with the Airtel's approval
After 2 years - our tenant moved from my place and Iam not sure where he is and is not in touch.Last I heard was he was statying in abroad.
To my surprise - the bill on this number is unpaid and I have been recieving calls at odd hours of the night and people threatning me to pay the bills for the old number which I did not use.I was just the previous owner of this number.
To add to all these woes - they are sending people who are illetrate and goonds near my place for that guy who has left India and not paid the bills.
I even recieved an email from Airtel stating that I need to pay the money - even though it is not in my name.
Iam mentally being harrased and would like to take up this matter to Consumer Court and TRAI for cancellation of the license of AIRTEL.They are using moneypower and goondapower to harrass the poor customers.

Strict action to be taken on Bharti Airtel for wrong updation of my name on my number and delay in changing the same despite several reminders leading to financial loss ; inability of airtel to tell me of my billing cycle as my bill was generated just after 4 days of my port in of number, I have used more internet in the beginning as I thought that I have a month to compensate the high use in the first few days.
I got a welcome cvall on 12/10/2012 after my bill was generated to inform me of my billing cycle. I called the customer care several times and was assured my amount of bill towards excess usage would be reversed. I even received a call from airtel. They said that would reverse an amount of Rs 290 as I have paid Rs 400 towards my bill for Rs 690.81.
I strongly objected to it as I said that it was your mistake of not informing me of my billing cycle so there was extra usage as compared to the pro rata discount that they have applied for my bill from 06/10/2012 to 10/10/2012.
The next dispute with airtel is wrong information or mis information about the data usage of 3G. A customer can get data update from airtel only by two means 1. By sending sms 3G Use to 121 ot by calling 121 and speaking to a person and getting an update on the usage,
I did both on 10/11/2012 and got an update that my 3G data used till 10/11/2012 till 8.21 am was 7256.51 MB .
I have added the usage of 10/11/2012 on the sms that I received and my total data usage was less than 8 GB .
Even a person from the appellate team of airtel Mr Randhir validated the same from his phone number [protected]. He spoke to me for more than 2 hours, I was on roaming still spoke to him as I wanted the issue to be resolved. He was not able to validate the usage claimed by Airtel even after adding the usage from midnight of 09/11/2012 as he said that the SMS that I received was showing my data usage till midnight of 09/11/2012. HE asked me to visit the Airtel Relationship Centre and validate the SMS that I was reffering to.
I validated the sms at the Vidharbha Telecom outlet of Aitrel at Akola on 29/11/2012.
Still they did not reverted on my concern.

Today when I spoke to Sujatha from the appellate team she said that the usage is of 24 hours back.
They are just trying to prove their point by hook or by crook, every new person I speak to has a different explanation.

So no one from airtel is till date able to tell me how my usage that I received from Airtel on 10/11/2012 and the data of 10/11/2012 will add upto the usage that they have charged me for.

I never expected this kind of shady practice and incompetent staff employed by airtel.
They provide woring information / update to its consumers and charge them heavily for excess use.
I feel their practice to not reflect the correct usage in the month and come out with a big unjustified bill at the end of the month and claim its correct and rightly charged .
But my concern is how will a customer come to know about his usage basis which he can plan his usage for the remaining month accordingly.

moreover In the name service gesture airtel is bargaining, they started with offering Rs 250 waiver on the bill; went upto rs 500 and today offered Rs 1000. I feel like laughing . They are behaving like a road side shop and bargain with their customers for their mistakes and pretend they are obliging the customers.
im not a beggar, i will take this matter for sure to the highest authority and seek remedy

My self vivek kumar jha having a mobile.no. [protected] of Airtel network. Airtel company activate the internet service of 2G for 2GB per month on my mobile no. They did not inform me to activate and deactivate the internet service. In lack of knowledge, i can continue used the internet services and the result is that, with the mistake of company my mobile no. bill goes upto Rs 7351/.

I was committed by the Airtel executive Sumit Arora phone number : [protected], that i'll be getting 2mbps speed 75GB data in Rs 1299 and after 75GB i'll get 256 kbps speed as on 6/10/2012 but still i haven't got this Rs 1299 75GB 2mbps plan yet and i was also committed a waiver, my total amount till October was Rs 7, 100 or some thing like this i was committed that if i pay Rs 4, 000 the rest of the amount will be given me as a waiver and that should be about Rs 3, 100 then i'll have to pay from November Rs 1, 299 + tax but still i am paying Rs 1, 599 + tax as per my old plan. I payed Rs 1, 500 in November and the only bill due is of December and i am being told that i have a due amount of RS 3, 300 or something like that and i have no idea how is this possible, please kindly sought out my problem because i wont be paying any more until and unless my problem is solved, i have attached a snap shot of the retention form in which i was committed all the things as mentioned above.
There is one more problem not all the time but some time i don't even use 50% of my 75GB data and the massage comes to me that my 100% data is completed.

My name is Ankit Goel. I am having some corporate numbers from Airtel. all these numbers are corporate connections. Airtel give separate account number for every connection. from August 2012 i made several request to Airtel to please issue a single account numbers for all of my Corporate connections but no action is taken in that case. In October 2012 i made a payment of RS. 18, 725/ for all of my CUG connection which is only credited in our one phone number [protected] despite of crediting in all of my CUG connections. As a result that above mentioned phone number is showing over payment made in my account and other CUG connections are still payable as per your records. I had requested 40 times at least but no action has been taken in that regard. I am consistently mailing on your ID 121 but no response i personally visited to the customer care but nobody is ready to entertain the case even.
Sir i am requesting you top please look in to matter personally as it is a already very delayed and he are unnecessarily facing the disconnection from the airtel. Moreover i want to brought the fact inyour kind attention that we are having around 165 corporate connections from BSNL which we are using from last 2 years with satisfactory services given by the BSNL company and their peoples and it is the Government Organization. and Bharti Airtel is a Private organization even there is no grade of services.
I am expecting that you will take the necessary action in that regard otherwise i am to move to the court and put the option of number portability. My name is Juney Philip and my Airtel number is [protected]. This is to bring to your notice that, I have been using airtel for the last 7- 8 years. Last month I had a problem with my airtel that all of a sudden on a Sunday evening I was unable to make any outgoing calls. But what surprised me was that, I was able to send and reveive message and I was able to receive an incoming call. So I had contacted the customer care advisors on 121 and 198 but I never get through to the agent because my number has been blocked by the agents itself so that, I do not call again. The customer service is very pathetic and the agents gave me wrong information about Meenakshi who happens to be the manager of Airtel Bangalore center. For Five days i went through hell, I was unable to make any outgoing calls and had to walk three times directly to the Airtel office for help. But the Advisors over there are not approachable and showed a lot of attitude and did not treat me as a customer I had to wait for 20 mins before someone could attend to me and listen to my concerns.

My outgoing is fine now I am concerened this has happened twice. What If I m having the same problem again whom do I contact for help???????????. As I am unable to reach the customer service agents for help coz they have barred my incoming call to the contact center. I have been through a lot in these five days and I would require compensation for the trouble and agony Airtel put me through.

If I do not get a Response from you I will be Moving this case further to the "Consumer Court" for compensation.

I am also being harrassed by airtel staff. I had changed my residence in October, 2012. I informed airtel to shift the telephone to my new address. Even after making several requests it was not addressed. About one month passed. Then I requested for cacellation of the connection. They asked me to pay Rs.1223/ outstanding amount . I paid. Harrassment started from February 2013. They asked me to pay 696/ to their collecting agent. When I said that I had already paid the amount intimated to me earlier, they started threatening me. To avoid any harrassment to me and my family members, I had to pay Rs.696/ I do not know what further harrassment they are planning. The is GOONDA RAJ by AIRTEL. I do not know how Sunil Mittal managed to get Padma Bhushan !!!

Please have a look on below issue. I mailed to customer care 3-4 times and personally called him many time regarding the same but not got any impactful reply.

I am disheartened after getting unpromising services from AIRTEL which calls itself as a best service provider. We are using AIRTEL BROADBAND services for last 2 years.

Since October 2012, we are facing problem of signal drop causing discontinuity of internet at random interval of time. We logged complaint regarding this multiple times but many a times, AIRTEL Customer Care executives denied us to make a complaint by giving us ambiguous reasons.

Our concerns:

Your technician [Jugnu Singh, +91-[protected]] failed to resolve the issue. Rather than looking for the root cause, he asked us to replace the Modem and WiFi device. Without performing any test, he simply decided that our Modem and WiFi device is faulty.
We brought new Modem and WiFi device as per his suggestion, then also, problem persisted. This made us to logged complaint on 3rd December 2012. Again, we lost hope and trust in AIRTEL.

Between, 3rd December 2012 to 11th February 2013, we made various efforts to seek for the compensation against the wasteful expenditure of INR 2500 in buying MODEM and WIFI device, but no one logged a complaint. Their denial was on the basis that our issue will be escalated and complaint cannot be made for compensations & waived off. Since our old modem and WIFI device is working fine, then, why we shall bear a loss of amount INR 2500 in buying the new devices. We are not earning for paying for the mistakes committed by your technical/non-technical staff.

Since 2010, we are using AIRTEL broadband services just because we had trust in AIRTEL which is now vanished from our mind and thoughts. We never made a delay in paying the outstanding bill amount. This time we are not paying our due bill amount for last two months because we are not getting any resolution from your side. We need compensation of INR 2500 against the amount we spend in buying MODEM and WiFi device.

We tried calling 121 hundredth of times but almost every time our call was disconnected saying ‘All our executives are busy. Try after sometime’. Is this the way to deal with the customers? There must be a single point of contact which should be available 24x7.

Broadband service is disconnected from 3rd February 2013 without any prior notice. This act doesn’t suit big corporate and shall not be repeated with anyone. We are not going to pay for the time when service is unavailable to us. We are following you since 24th November 2012 but you are not providing any resolution, so, flaw resides at your side.

We are sorry to say but really we had a worst and dreadful experience with AIRTEL services and employees too.

Kindly look into this matter and don’t disconnect our services which is available to us for 48 hours starting from 16th February 2013. We are ready to clear all outstanding amount but after getting compensation which should not be less than INR. 2000.

If you fail in providing us the resolution within 24 hours of receiving this email, then we are bound to follow legal process. We have already undergone mental stress due to AIRTEL and its employees.

on 7th mar 2013 thursday around 5pm a call come from airtel digitel tv care no. is [protected] told me that sir i having offer i[censored] recharge for 6th month u will get 6th month free i said ok. then i chose plan for rs 2001 for six month.they said they will send there execuetive at 6 pm.ok but i said i wont be there in room u can send ur execuetive tomorrow.but they said if possible give the money today so that u can get the reacharge by next early morning..then i suggest if its ok then i will give the money to my fren so that u can collect from him.the executive has collected the money on same day and his name is arun mobile no.[protected].next day they have recharge in costumer id [protected] transation id 29961025. then i have call the same airtel digitel no. mention above i have share the same story they said they will call back in half an hour then they dint call me.next day i talk with indrani telling her the same story she will register a complain and she will call back in 30 min and i just call back to take the complain no.but another person has pick up and said she is busy she will call me back then she dint call.mean while i call the execuetive arun he said he had done mistake he has recharge to different id he will take bach the recharge amount from person who has recharge and recharge it to me.i said ok.he said next day it will be done.i wait for the day the recharge has not done .then i call again on airtel digitel care no.mention above that time i talk with rajesh i told him i want to talk with indrani because she know the story then he told me that she is in meeting then i told him the whole story he said he will call me back on next morning but i said what will happen i[censored] dint call me back he said he will definitely call if he dint call then ask for his name.i wait for the call next morning (today morning)he dint call me back then today i call in the same no. another person mamta has pic up the call i ask for rajesh she said he is in meeting and i asked for indrani even she is in meeting .mamta told me to call after half an hour.i said i[censored] can solved my problem then i can tell u the whole story then i tell her.she said she will raised a complained after half hour she will give give complained no. its almost 10 hour over she dint call me back.so, tell me what can i do.please take a strick action on this.i am very much tired of this please do the need full as soon as possible.

or aaj kal mera phone bhi band kar diya hain apse request hain ki esse resolve kare pls ASAP
First it was faulty Airtel SIM two years ago, and now a problem with Airtrel DTH connection.My id is [protected] and in last two days followed up 30 times on phone with stupid customer care executives to get my DTH re-installed after recharging it. But to my surprize, everytime date is next day only. Everytime i am being put on hold for talking to some senior and this senior is never there. Mr.Mittal, i[censored] get to read these mails, do forward the same to your down the line people. After this second bad experience, i will surely not opt for any further Airtel services.

As we are a valuable customer of Airtel & using 33 connections... [protected] to [protected] & other 7 numbers more.

Since 6 months, we are facing the problem of outstanding amount which I paid every month on time. Not to bother from your outstanding calls we deposited the advance payment of Rs. 16, 500/- (Ch. No. 734063) which was cleared but there is no record in Airtel department.

As we discussed to Mr. Virender (#[protected]) in Punjabi Bagh Branch, New Delhi we gave all the documents (bank statement, consignment letter) on 23rd April, 2013 & he ask me to wait for 72 hrs (3 days). Today its 6th day but still I am getting outstanding calls.

I am extremely fed up from Airtel department due to such a irresponsible services.

Hi,

Subject:-Regarding false bill generation on Airtel DSL number [protected] bill submission date 9/03/2013 and connection closing Reference no 30119638 on date 16/03/2013 after clearing all the dues and connection close request.

I would like to inform you that we have earlier a broad band connection DSL number [protected], we were not satisfied with the service so we just opted for closing a connection, after speaking with Airtel customer care executive they just submit my request and given me few reference no although i have deposited all my pending bill on 9 march 2013 amount of 2000/- they waiver rest of the amount and said that your connection will now be closed also i have requested for connection closing request Reference no:30119638 on date 16/03/2013 billing cycle start for 26 of each month.Few months later Airtel send us the bill i just questioned Airtel customer care executive she told me that all your earlier request for closing connection is still pending and new request for address shifting has placed while i have never opted for address change, now there executive are taking follow up for submitting the pending bill this is totally ridiculous.I don't want to pay anything now for the service i haven't used since my last bill submission..

I request you to kindly look up in to the matter and please check in your records and revert back with the feedback.

Sorry for bothering you in such your busy schedule. I am valuable customer of Airtel & using 33 connections (corporate nos.) i.e. [protected] to [protected], so on... But after facing a lot of problems I have to complaint that since 6 months I am facing a same problem of outstanding & due amounts which I already paid on time every month.

Number of times I visited in Airtel outlets of Punjabi Bagh Branch, New Delhi but still the problem has on same place. Instead of arguments or any more discussion, we paid around Rs. 20, 000/- in advance 1 month ago but they did not done any adjustments in their accounts & put in suspense accounts.

We also provide them all bank statements, cheque nos. to the nodal officers & in Airtel outlets of Punjabi Bagh, New Delhi but still the problem has been same.
