Hi ,
I want to bring this incident to your attention.I had an airtel number which I transferred to my tenant.Itransferred this connection legally with the Airtel's approval
After 2 years - our tenant moved from my place and Iam not sure where he is and is not in touch.Last I heard was he was statying in abroad.
To my surprise - the bill on this number is unpaid and I have been recieving calls at odd hours of the night and people threatning me to pay the bills for the old number which I did not use.I was just the previous owner of this number.
To add to all these woes - they are sending people who are illetrate and goonds near my place for that guy who has left India and not paid the bills.
I even recieved an email from Airtel stating that I need to pay the money - even though it is not in my name.
Iam mentally being harrased and would like to take up this matter to Consumer Court and TRAI for cancellation of the license of AIRTEL.They are using moneypower and goondapower to harrass the poor customers.

Dear sir, Mr.Sunil Mittal Ji,

I have purchase a Data card from your authorised dealer M/s S.S.D.N Enterprises, Nehru Place, Sim no.[protected], mobile no.[protected], vide rtail invoice no.903 dt.29/07/2010 which is not working till date and time 5.55 P.M from 29/07/2010 so many time i talk to customer care and other officials but no result every time i hered surprised information from your officials like this service is not availeble in prepiad, This service required Rs.348/- recharg on that your authorised dealer forced to us that only Rs.98/- is allowed for prepaid service, in this connection i requested to you please take necessery action for activation of this service asap

Airtel Broadband IPTV connection — No Connection, Money Taken

I have applied for Airtel broadband + IP TV connection on 2 sep. 2010 ( Reference no. 8570508) a guy (Pawan Sharma) has come on 3 sep. 2010, and collected all papers and Cheque of Rs. 1750 and he assured me that connection will be done by 6 sep. 2010 max. Form no. is 2364566. On 7 sep. 2010 I made call on 121 and they have registered complaint and give complaint no.[protected] and told me that you will get call back by tomorrow. Than I again call on 121 on 8 sep. 2010 (after minimum 30 min hold ) they give me another complain no. 37401866 and give me assurance that you will get call back by 9 th before 12.0 clock. No call made by them.

Than I again call on 121 and than again I got one complaint no. i.e. 37439510. Please anyone suggest me how to get either connection or my money back.

This is to enlighten you that how competent your staff members/employees are.
I got amazingly inexpressible experience and thanks to your highly educated staffs that don’t even understand Hindi (our National Language) or English (our Work Language) over the phone and don’t make any effort to read your customer’s email. And why am I giving this comment since the MID SEPTEMBER 2010 I started following up with your staff for some request in India and after that I traveled to overseas and from here (Lagos) also am giving countless International calls and sending many emails to your illiterate staff and still YOUR SO CALLED COMPETENT STAFF is clueless about the right course of action.
For the last whole month, I am suffering mentally and monetarily because of your SO CALLED COMPETENT STAFF, my aged father is also in trouble in INDIA and again THANKS GOES TO YOUR COMPETENT STAFF. MY MANY-MANY THANKS TO YOUR MS.HARSHI MEHRA ALSO who is an Appellate Authority who even doesn’t read customer emails, who doesn’t even understand the instructions given to her over the phone in Hindi and English Language.
I made simple two requests which I am going to mention once again here for your better understanding and whatever trail mail I have exchanged so far is enclosed here for your kind reference purpose.
First of all, below points are FOR YOUR KIND INFORMATION:
1. I am using airtel services from the year 2000 (a period of long ten years)
2. Presently, I have two post paid airtel mobile nos. in my name:

b. [protected]
3. These days I am not in India. I am here in Lagos, Nigeira.
4. My local nos. in Lagos-Nigeria are[protected] AND[protected].
5. I am not using any India mobile no. here in Lagos.
6. If airtel wants to reach for any further clarification then please write me an email at [protected]@yahoo.co.in or call me at my International phone nos. (if airtel have capacity to pay for any international calls)
My two requests about which I wrote many emails to Appellate Authority and Nodal Officer from Airtel:
1. Mobile No.[protected] – Please put this no. under safe custody since I am not in India these days. I will come back to India and will start using it.
2. Mobile No.[protected] – Please don’t touch this number since this mobile I have given to my father to use it in India for any local or STD/ISD calls in my absence. And airtel need not to worry about the payment of bills, I will be taking care of the same.

Dear Mr.Sunil Mittal, if the above mentioned information and requests are not clear to you even then please do let me know since I have already wasted quite good amount of time, energy and money to make your staf[censored]nderstand……..
Even after that your Competent airtel staff disconnected/ blocked my BOTH the numbers in India and my father is in trouble since he doesn’t have any mobile because of idiotic actions of your staff. Besides earlier for the whole 10 days your customer care staff had given enough trouble to my father asking him about disconnection of airtel services.
DO YOU FIND ANY DISCONNECTION REQUST FROM ME IN THE ABOVE INSTRUCTIONS????
And further, Can you tell me who is going to pay for:
1. My Valuable time and energy which I wasted with your staff for continuously more than a month for my simple request with Airtel telecommunication services.
2. My Countless International calls which I made to India to explain my request to your staff.
3. My Countless National calls which I made in India to your staff in the month of September 2010 to explain my same request.
4. Trouble given to my aged father.
And still your staff is taking idiotic actions towards my request and troubling me here at Lagos and troubling my father as well there in India.
I EARLIER BELIEVED THAT AIRTEL AND MR.SUNIL MITTAL DO CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICES.
NOW ONLY YOU CAN ANSWER WHETHER ACTUALLY AIRTEL UNDERSTANDS ITS CUSTOMER OR NOT.

That said email connection was running in my office.Mothly charges are rs 500 with unlimited pack scheme.When the connection was installed .Your representative had said that it is fixed tarrif scheme of rs 500 per month all inclusive taxes.But it is an illegal matter that your company is charging the rate more than the fixed amount.

Plz look in to the matter and stop the unfair trade practice

Airtel — Miss selling and wrong commitment

I am writing this post with reference to my transation done with airtel in the form of airtel broadband connection. I took new connection from Airtel. Mr. Santosh came to explain offer and all. Since he belongs to airtel so I had a utmost of good faith that whatever Mr.santosh will tell me will be the word of only airtel. But I was wrong that I was carrying this king of assumption in my mind. He cheated me and over and above company cheated me badly. What ever the commitment given by Mr. Santosh and his manager on phone in terms of refundment of instalation charge in two consecutive month with one one gift that is Reebok watch which I was suppose to receive in 5 working days after the connnection get installed.
Please dont play around customer sentements

Mr.Sunil Bharati Mittal — regarding unwanted messages and service

Dear Sunil Mittal
I'm getting unwanted messages daily to my inbox. they don't look decent also. the messages asking the one to download models in bikini, glamorous actress photo shoot, Chinese models in glamor dress, etc, etc. Usually I ignore those messages. but now a days deleting them has become a big job for me.
I'm really wondering, why you don't think about the younger generation who receive these type of messages. I think you don't have any social responsibility.
If these kind of messages reaches a teen age boy, just think about his future?
please do not spoil them.

Bharti Airtel — recharge not done and not picking up calls now.

I did a recharge of rs 34 on 5th feb. But it didnt get the the benefits of it. Then I called customer care and they told me that I would get the recharge by 1st march 10:00 am. But I didnt get it. Then I called again and they told me I woukd get it by 4 pm but again i didnt get it.
Then I called again and they told me that till now the comlaint wasnt forwarded till now and now he will forward the complaint now and disconnected the call and when I tried to call again then didnt direct me to customer care executive from my number. Then I called from my friends no and when I told him that I was told that I would get the recharge by this time then he said that u werent told this and disconnected the call.
Airtel is no longer the same company it used to be . They are now being operated from the back end. Any stupid person from the back end without visiting or closing the customer complaint resolves it . Most probably they are making money out of local conveyance without visiting . At my house internet is not working and they are charging me for a higher speed. Any number of complaints, the standard reply is that our engineers have informed that all is well . And they have no human being working for them, it is only a call center where it seems uneducated people work, or they have machines.

I only wish the facility to change landline operater as in the case of mobile comes faster, and I am sure Airtel will be the biggest looser .

i am user of airtel from last 7-8 years.Now i am not satisfied with your customer care service.MY NUMBER IS [protected].My mobile 20 rs is deducted, they told me that you had activated frenzo chat, but sir i not activated this service.they forward my complaint to senior member, but they disconnected my connection to customer care.Now sir what i do, shall i remain with airtel or not.

AirTel — Airtel is not listening any complaints

Airtel is working like a machine and this company not listening any customers from last 3 months.
This company is only garneting bills and collecting payments from customers. This company is not
solving any problems from customer’s. Now days this company is charging rent before activating customers mobile lines. Airtel refusing to give back customers deposit.This type of company only exists india as money making machines.

Dear Mr. Mittal,

This mail is in utter frustration after following up with your AirtelDTH customer care for last 20 days. I bought a multi-room connection and it required multiple follow-up to get the STB installed. Since then it's almost 15 days none of the channels are activated.

1. I called up customer care.They logged complaint 5894001. No action after that
2. I called customer care again, they said complaint is being forwarded. Where I do not know. No action again
3. After that called up customer care several time and the response has always been that some one will contact within 3 Hrs but no has ever contacted.

I think Rs 999 has gone complete waste. In case you are listening to this post, I would expect some action.

Airtel/ Postpaid Connection — Threatening Calls for pending bill, even when I am ready to settle the amount

This is to bring in your kind notice that I have been using [protected], since Sept'2010. The no was purchased from Haldwani & the average bill which I use to get was Rs 2000, which was paid regularly.

In month of Jan, I shifted to Haryana & the usage on this no. declined as I was using my Haryana no. but even then my bill was Rs 2400 for the month of Jan.'11 which was strange for me.

I spoke to some one in Haldwani Office, they said they will forward my request & will respond to me soon.

In between my no. was bard around 20th of Jan'2011, & I got a call from Mr. Danish [protected] from merrut, it was really nice to talk to him as he was quite helpful & we settled that within 7 working days I will pay Rs 2000 for final settlement & Rs 1000 for advance rental plan. He said me to give him a call once I pay the amount but unfortunately I forgot to safe his no.

Meanwhile I din't do anything & the no. remained bard.

In Last week of Feb. I again got a call from Haldwani & the guy told me that my bill is Rs, 2800, I don't know that how as my no. was bard.

Now today 21st March I again got call from Mr.Danish saying my bill is some Rs, 3400, & why din't I pay the bill & I told him that I was not able to save his no. due which payment was not made & requested him to kindly let me know about the final settlement but instead of helping me he started threating me & talked very rudely. He said that my no. was bard on 18th Feb'2011 & I am say a lie, as his system says something else.

After few minutes of his call some Mr. Rakesh [protected] called on my finance's no., & threatened her to tell me to pay my bill or else he will come to her place to take the bill.

Mr. Himashu, this is has been really a bad experience from Airtel as I have also used Airtel before.

This is regards of the problem that i am facing from the time i took Airtel DTH which is my life's biggest mistake.

This is leading to the complete unsatisfactory and pathetic image for Airtel.

This started when i too this connection because that it was like a beautiful castle tat you show it to your customer because you have to take money and after that even if customer is calling for anything, Airtel hardly cares about the same.

The time i took this connection i am facing connection problem, i raised this complaint n no. of times but nothing changed because nobody is ready to take responsibility. Once in a while we'll be able to talk to the so called Custome Services Executive because half of the time when we try calling you, you straight away disconnect the call or it never gets connected.

Airtel's so called Customer services executives are not capable to work and respond customer properly because they are worth for nothing. Whenever you tell them any problem either they put you hold or disconnect your calls. Customers are never able to speak to the MANAGERS because either they don't come on phone or every time we gets response that nobody is available which shows that capability of Airtel.

I am total aware about the complete procedure as i am also the process head in BPO's only and worked with Airtel also but still if you tell the SO CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICES EXECUTIVES, they are not ready to help customer and disconnect the call.

I spoke to 4 executive names Rajesh, Kusum/ khushbu, Kapil and Jitender pawar as i am facing connection problem with my DTH connection and instead of helping, e out they disconnected my call and also after asking for the manager, No manabger came on line and response i got that nobody is available and and call been disconnected by agent without informing as i was on hold.

I am really not able to understand the behavior as this is not once or twice, its every month's problem that i am facing. And the Best part is that only Airtel's CSEs and Managers are not worth of nothing but also the Nodel Officer also as i have contacted the Nodel officer of my region names Arun Kumar[protected] and again the same thing happened as i have tried contacting the Nodel Officer entire day but no connection and nobody picked the call.

Kindly let me know that what should i do as it getting out of my mind and i am feeling like that i have been trapped by Airtel and you dis FRAUD with me with this connection.

Awaiting for then positive and prompt response from a resp[onsible persone who would be able to help and know the meaning of customer services.

I have airtel digital tv. there is a problem every evening from last 1 week. it says SM2 error.. i have to call customer care to get it done.
every time they say it will not happen again. i am fed up with this and want to launch complain about all this.
I need a reason why is all this happening and how much more shall i have to suffer using your services?.
