I'm an airtel landline subscriber[protected] and I have opted for 599 plan (voice plan) in which my registered airtel prepaid mobile number (+91-[protected]) would be getting a talktime of Rs. 100 every month.

For January month, the bill got generated on 11-Jan-2012 and I paid the bill on 12-Jan-2012. But, till now, I have not received the talktime of Rs. 100 that should have been credited to my airtel prepaid mobile number +91-[protected].

When I called up the airtel landline customer care, they are giving cooked stories that on 14-Jan-2012, the amount has been credited into my airtel prepaid mobile account (using the transaction number: P[protected]) and they are not responsible for anything after that.

I found that the amount has not been credited to my airtel prepaid mobile account till now. I have not got Rs. 100 talktime for the January month.

Please rectify this and credit the talktime at the earliest, in order to have customer's continued patronage or else, I will resort to my own ways of getting the talktime credited to my airtel prepaid mobile account.

Airtel Mobile — Non-credit of Talk Time

Airtel send an SMS " recharge with Rs.80/- u get A2A at 10 paise and also get Rs.80/- Talk time. " But even after 6 days the talk time is not yet updated. Please take immediate steps for credit the promised TT.

    Hello,

    We have had 2 airtel mobile connections since June 2011. I have on my connection had issues almost every month either issues with billing/internet access/something else. This month, the issue is just the limit of my tolerance. On the 12th of January 2012, per usual I received an e-bill, which I assumed to be the e-bill for my mobile number. However, on opening the document, I found that the bill was for someone else. In effect, I have that person's bill including their airtel account number, mobile number, call log, last payment due and current month bill details. This means that someone else now has the same for my mobile number. I find that extremely disturbing. Additionally, of course, the actual amount due for my mobile number is a different amount. When I log in to my online airtel account, I see some number as due on the 31st, but that number is half what my usual amount due is. So, I have several concerns -

    1. Why was I sent someone else's bill and who got my bill?
    2. The variance in the bill amounts between months - I have no way of verifying this currently as I still have not received a physical copy of my bill
    3. I called airtel multiple times. The customer service agent is extremely uncomfortable in english and just keeps repeating what I say, but misinterpreting my request.
    4. When I ask to be transferred to a manager, the person puts me on hold for several MINUTES and then just hangs up, REALLY bad customer service
    5. Noone from airtel, so far, has actually been able to answer why I was sent another person's bill, a text with that person's amount due for Jan 2012 as well as the password to open their ebill (their account number)

    Can someone please contact me at [protected]@yahoo.com to resolve this ASAP? Otherwise, I will have no option but to approach the consumer court.

    Airtel/Mobile Services — Deactivation not done Mobile Number: 9987007452 (Mumbai)

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    I have requested the Airtel Customer Care to Deactivate my mobile many a times but nothing has happened as yet. They are not deactivating and continously the Billing Cycles are generated and I am made to pay the Bill amount.

    Whenever I try to call the Call Center after paying the bill it gives an message as Invalid Number. Already I have paid the outstanding amount of Rs. 750 and today when I called they are telling me that another billing cycle has been done and I need to pay another Rs. 483 on that.

    They have activated another Billing Plan without asking me. How come they do that.

    I opted out of Airtel because of bad coverage from their end. Please help me out.

      Dear Sir,

      I am from Chennai.
      Had put a simple telephone and broadband shifting request from one area to another, within the city.
      This request was not processed for 25 odd days despite several follow-ups.
      Being depressed and unhappy, i had put a cancellation request on 25-Nov-2011, which was happily accepted by the team and i received a mail confirming that my outstanding was 766. I paid the amount immediately and was hoping that my landline would get cancelled.

      To my surprise, this did not happen and i received new bill by december...and then in Jan'12.

      I have been repeatedly sending mails to [protected]@airtel.in with various mails and transction numbers, but they are not doing anything about it.

      Today, i got a call, stating that i will receive a legal notice for not paying some amount. This is supposed to be airtel guys mistake...Why should i pay for it...

        I have not been receiving the e-bills since the last 3 months. I do not get to know my billed amount unless the due date passes and the customer care people start giving me reminder calls. By then, the late payment charges are already applied.
        Last months bill was deposited in their billing center and I have the receipt with me. Even then, I see a late payment charge and last months bill added to my outstanding bill amount. They are applying late payment charges again and again. Its pathetic. They are charging unnecessarily and incorrectly. I have complained a number of times but nothing is helping. The bills are not being received and they are adding late payments.

        Airtel Broadband — wrongly added late payment amount

        Payment of last bill was made on time, in spite of that we were charged late payment amount on the bill of airtel broadband connection.airtel landline no:[protected].
        We request immediate action otherwise we might cut our airtel broadband services.

          I used AIRTEL netconnect number:[protected] , I got a wrong bill for billing cycle 5th dec 2011 to 5th jan 2012 showing data usages of about Rs28251( after some deduction have to pay Rs 4412) , I am in a plan of Rs 750 per month and using netconnect in the same trend I used earlier I don't know how data usages can exceed and i got a wrong bill , i can see logs at the time when I am in office and not at all using . Even if it exceeded there can be slight variation but this is impossible. Even from customer support got response like it is system generated, but what if I didn't used ,why should i pay a wrong bill because it is reflecting in their system . And 2nd thing without intimation Airtel discoonected my service on 12/01/2012 .On sending mail to nodal officer got the same reply that I need to pay, I didn't want this reply i need proper response and I want to stress on the fact that though it's a corporate plan, I am using it for domestic(personal) usage and I keep track of my data usage, so I don't want to pay for wrong bill. Please advice.Waiting for your response. I seek cooperation on above issue.

          I am a Clint of air tel( account no[protected] since one Year more, But now i have a complain from Air tel Due to access Bill. i was booked complain on the[protected]/04/09,[protected]/4/2009) for the wrong bill but they said that mr. pandey your bill is correct. I am Not satisfy this bill. My Total Bill Comes in Every month approx 1000 rs from the Initial period to last month. In my Home only 3 person are using Internet and in the day time all are going office and comeback approx 9 p.m so please check and correct& adjust my bill before 30th April.

          I being the subscriber to your airtel internet connection got transferred the connection from my residence C-1454 Indira Nagar to 28 B Brahmpuri Indira Nagar Lucknow.
          The connection (28 B, Brahmpuri) was installed by your company on 05.02.10 and the connection was disconnected (C-1454 Indira Nagar) in October 2009.
          I was assured by your sales manager and the call centre that the transferred with the monthly rental of Rs.250.00 with no Extra/other charges.
          A bill no.[protected] has been raised by your Esteemed company for the billing period 17.12.09 to 16.01.2010 of Rs. 1196.00 which is false as no connection was installed till 04.02.10 and NIL DSL Usage charges and Call and VAS charges has been shown in your bill itself.
          In this respect I want to state no BILL shall be paid by me until you get the bill corrected immediately till then kindly disconnect the internet connection if you want.The payment of the bill shall be for the usage made after 04.02.10.
          The lapse of disconnection shall be on your part not mines. First correct the bill then install the connection, no fake payment shall be made.

            My name is vijay kumar dubey having a airtell prepaid connection. my no is[protected] . i use this connection for internet only.charges of one month of internet is 98 for 2 GB. but from previous three month they have deducted Rs 500 extra . if i call in airtell call center but not able to talk to customer care person. i am fade up for this .

            I have 3 g data in my mobile. While I downloaded song my data charges exceeded my data balance and deducted in my main balance without any message or pop up.while I contact customer care stupid lady answering me like we dnt have option tto givemsg like tat.but before this month I got popop up ur data charges exceeding. Wat a stupid answer from tat lady.poor customer service.

              Good Evening All,

              I am Airtel User and platinum customer mobile customer. On July I was moving apartments and had put in a transfer request on the 13th Of July. I recieved a call from the Customer Care executive the next day stating I had to submit some documents. After going to and fro with them on this issue for a couple of days about what docs will server the purpose as valid for my transfer I did not hear from someone for a few weeks. Then I got a call in September where the Airtel Executive asked me why my data usage was non-existent. When I tild them that the reason was that I have put in a transfer request and it is unsettling that I have recieived this call, he said that my status in the "system" said that the transfer cannot be made. So I said in that case then put in a transfer request. a week later again I got a call about my outstanding where the executive said there is no transfer or cancellation request. I again told them to do the needful. And I made it abudantly clear that as I had put in transfer in July I would pay for that billing cycle beyond that I airtel is not able to provide transfer service to me so I will not pay anything beyond July. I was assured that I had to pay the outstanding and F&F will be delivered to me soon. An executive came and picked up what I was told was the F&F amount.

              Few days later someone came and picked all my telephone equipment. And I expected the matter to be closed. Now I am getting calls that as the next had been generated so I will need to pay. I have repeatedly told the executives about my predicment where I have been told they will get back to me. Now few days back I saw a tweet from airtel about reconnecting with existing customers. Now I know the methods.

              Today this guy calls me up tells me that "meri aukat nahi hai" to pay the bill. Wants to talk to mother and tell her that her son is a coward and other such good stuff. Excellent Airtel, This is how you win minds of heart of existing customer. I am "platinum" Airtel Customer for my Cell phone usage. I am seriously thinking about MNP. I would like to know how I should deal with this nonsense.

                Following is my first email to Airtel stating the issue. Dated 27/12/11. Read below for reply.

                Hi

                I am an old, loyal, premium customer of Airtel Services for over 12
                years. I have been using all 3 services(Triple play) - DTH, Broadband
                and Mobile for sometime now, and all is to my complete satisfaction. I
                am moving to a new address which is a newly constructed high rise
                building (with about 9 stories - 160 premium flats) that has an
                exclusive tie-up with Airtel for its internet broadband and DTH services
                for entire premises (All the wirings are in-built). These two services
                are being taken care of very well and are being activated very promptly
                by the staff on duty. But due to some reason, Airtel mobile signal on
                any floor is very weak and disappointing (notably Idea, Aircel and
                Vodaphone customers have got good signals). We (the whole society) have
                repeatedly requested for an Airtel mobile signal booster ( as most o[censored]s
                are happy with the service operator and would not like to switch the
                operator) but the concerned dealer is asking for an unfair guarantee of
                atleast 50 new airtel activations before he processes the signal booster
                request.

                Please guide us on how best to tackle this situation. The complete

                  I am using AirTel from a long time. And Not even once I noticed such bad service. On 16th January, 2012 around 6:15pm all my services were barred. Neither Outgoing nor Incoming Calls worked. I called up 198 from a different number and the asked me to wait for 4hrs as it was a network failure, and it occurred only on a few numbers. I assumed it to be true. Nothing helped. Next day, I called up 198 regarding the same continuing problem. I was informed that my documents to the number did not reach Airtel Head Office and so my no. was deactivated. Same day around 6pm I visited Airtel Support centre, Darya Ganj, Delhi. I submitted the documents again... Filled another form that had to go along with the documents. All the work was done and my SIM was checked. I was assured of its working conditions in next 24 hours. Its the 4th day today. Same problem... No Help. I called up 198 again and I was kept on Hold meanwhile they were transferring my call to their Head Supervisor. And the call is Cut down abruptly. I again call 198 tell the whole story to them one after the other so many times and again a never ending HOLD. then suddenly I get a call from some guy from Airtel on my other no. asking me for a local contact no. I give him my friend's no. and tell him the inconvenience that i was facing. He simply says... "I didn't know about that" and shuts the phone on my face. This is BAD. I am highly disappointed. This has turned out to be an INSULT to me... A four day story that finally leads to my Insult.

                  My name is Mayank Aggarwal and i am a good old customer of your company.Yesterday I called up your customer care to know my PUK number.I dont remember the name of the agent who took my call but he gave me 71788121 as my PUK number i tried that number few time but it was not accepted by my mobile. So i called up again to know about the PUK number and the other agent gave me a new PUK number that is 70788121. I tried the same again for few time and now my sim was rejected.I called up the customer care again and spoke to the supervisors Amit, Mahesh many other I also spoke to a manager name Mayank but all of them were of no use and rather they dont even know what customer service is. They told me that they would check the Voice log and would give me a call in 24 hours which i am still waiting for. Today when i called up my call was dropped many times and each and every time i was told that my call is transfered to the manager and then the call was disconnected.
                  My only issue is if your agent gave me wrong information why should i be penalised
                  Hi,
                  This is in regards to my airtel postpaid no. [protected], my
                  outgoing was barred without any notice for which I can't even call 121 or
                  [protected]. This is not for the first time it happened, it happened so many
                  times with my existing no. [protected] as well. I am fed up with the bad
                  customer service at Airtel. I must take some actions now.

                  Few things that usually happens:

                  1)Poor cust support.
                  2) Will provide misleading info on issues raised
                  3) Arrogant reply from CSR
                  4) No escalations method on unresolved issues.
                  5) No dead lines on resolving problems
                  6) Customer has to live on their mercy

                  I, ?infact don't expect common sense with the customer care guys.
                  (sometimes you must not even expect a resolution.. very often they close
                  calls, a lot of them, indirectly saying it is not possible to correct it).

                  Once, I got very irritated with the way the courier service airtel uses,
                  throws my airtel bills on the lawn... and make me go searching and pick it.
                  Ignorant at their best.. they mean they are very busy and can't bother to
                  insert it into your letter box sticking on your gate.I was out picking my
                  bills again, or worser, the stupid person delivered my bills in somebody's
                  house, and somebody's bill in my house. I went back to them, the customer
                  service people, and asked them to change the options to email my bills..
                  they simply advised me to do it on-line at their website... though i had
                  taken the time to call, they wanted me to first try it there.

                  I did try... Airtel website rocks.. rocks the negative way.
                  Nothing will work, and all information they provide regarding help
                  documents or contact emails, will all point to the same intelligent
                  thing... "the customer service team". The website will ask you to email
                  complaints to [protected]@airtel.in, or something like that.

                  After facing such issues, i would strongly recommend against airtel
                  postpaid connections as the customer has absolutely no control on his
                  number. They connect and disconnect at their own discretion and errors.
                  Also no warning is issued prior to disabling the number. The customer care
                  officials are also no help as they are only apologizing most of the times
                  which does not help much.

                  And another facet proves that Airtel is striving hard to reach 6-sigma
                  level when it is about call management - all the shift managers are always
                  busy, and all my calls are "accidentally" cut after me waiting on hold for
                  10+ minutes, waiting to talk to someone after being put on hold.
                  Getting to speak to a customer support service engineer in Airtel is real
                  pain. Why don't Airtel implement simple to use telephone customer service
                  ?
                  I need to navigate those annoying recursive menus. There is no one menu
                  which leads me to person. I really don't know how I was able to speak to
                  a person after spending thirty minutes on the phone. The funny part was,
                  the support person is unable to tell me a way to reach her directly,
                  according to her if I wish to talk to a person, I have to go through this
                  enormous pain.

                  If I don't get an satisfactory and an immediate response, I challenge
                  "Airtel" - I'll bring the same in front of consumer court as well e-mail to
                  all the corporates and individuals who use the Airtel connection.

                  I Am using the Airtel Mobile for the past 6-7 years, & one month back i have converted my Biling plan to prepaid, since then i m facing a problem of network, thus i have also visited the Airtel Gallary(from where i have converted my plan - Dadar East) 13 times but still they are unable to solve my problem. I have also tried to take help from Call centre but there is also no revert. One of the reply recd from the executive Mr Anand Gaikwad (Dadar East) that your phone is not compatible with Airtel connection. before this specifications mobile phone is :
                  Make & model : Sony Erricsson P1i (Blackberry enabled)
                  Price : 18500/=
                  As per the executive Mr Anand Gaikwad it means the airtel connection in not compatible with the most highend mobile, then howcome anyone can rely on them.
                  I have aslo treid another airtel no. on my same phone, it was working fine. then howcome my number is not working.
                  Request you to pls consider my complaint & do the needful.

                  Note : Customer service is always their for providing solutions for customers problem, but here in Dadar East Gallery (Airtel) i have experienced that they Airtel service centre are not resolving the problem, but they are tring to get rid of the customers without resolving there problem.

                  I tried to Airtel customer service and they put me on hold for at least 15 minutes. This is a real pathetic state of affairs. Is it because I am on pre paid? Do post paid users get more preference in Airtel? Of course I know the company staff would deny this. But generally is this what other users have experienced, I would love to know.

                  This is anand here. We have a airtel connection from past 2 months, we applied for a wi-fi router and we are calling the customer care from past 2 months that when we are going to get the router. They are just playing with customer and spoiling the right assigned to the customer.

                  I am using your prepaid connection from last 2 years, but now i am facing lots of problem from your callcenter team .They unable to resolved my problem & put me in a hold.                   If any one read this complain please resolve my problem.
                  I wanted to get my prepaid connection converted to postpaid. I went to customer care center at Sahara Mall gurgaon.I took the token from token machine and started waiting for my turn. After waiting for 45 min when I could not see my number reflecting on the token reflector box. I went to one of the 5 customer care executive sitting there and asked them about the executive who will be helping me with all realted infomation, I came to know that the concerned executive has already left.It was so disgusting.Unnecessary wastage of time.
                  Is it really a cutomer care center ?
                  Isn't there responsibilty to stop giving the token of the particular counter if the executive has already left.
                  I spent pretty much 3-4 hours in the office of Airtels service centre trying to fix one little thing, the SMS text messages they say I signed up for and which I pay for. In the time I was there 90% of the people coming in had the same problem.

                  The 121 service simply does not work and is not designed to work. It is a con, illegal in most places and they know it. They are also completely incompetent.

                  Much as I am sure they are one of the biggest providers in Asia the way they got this way was no doubt to pass a few bucks to some politicians to grow all the while crapping over the customers.

                  I am Seema Naim an Airtel user, My cell no. is [protected]. I'm having a complain for Airtel. I received one message from Airtel "Listen Sonu Nigam for free", then after a while I received a message that it has been activated on your cell phone, I have not listen the voice message which was been sended. My balance was reducted. When I contacted Airtel, they didn't picked up my call. So I contacted Airtel officer, they said you will get your money back within 24 hours and will be contacted to customer service. But I waited for 48 hours, but nothing took place. So I request you to get my money back to me!

                  There have been multiple complaints which i have registered with Airtel, complaining about Broadband not working (Please refer to the account notes, whhich i had requested respective customer care agents to document on my account, while calling Customer Service)

                  Finally last Sunday a gentlemen visited, stating that their is a wiring issue and that he cannot tell me exactly which wire is improperly set within my aprtments premises, to which he responded "THAT AIRTEL DOES NOT HAVE THE EXPERTISE TO TELL ME THAT AND THAT AIRTEL AS A COMPLAINT CANNOT HELP ME IN THIS", when i requested this gentlemen (the field agent's boss) to document this for me on a mail HE REFUSED and said he will not do that.

                  I requested him multiple times to send that to me writing so that i can take it further with teh complaints team , HE REFUSED.His name is Mr. Manoj and was a Back Office Officer as told by the field agent.

                  I have failed to get my problem resolved as the usage of my internet services has degraded due to intermittent "connectivity failures", i login after every 12-15 inutes it completely stops, the data link light on my Modem goes out and nothing works.

                  I have reported this atleast 7-8 time, hope all calls are recorded.

                  I hereby request AIRTEL to please listen to those calls and please explain me that if i am paying high to get the BEST OF SERVICES FROM THE BEST IN THE MARKET BROADBAND SERVICE COMPANY, am i as a customer should be treated the way i have been.

                  Request you to please provide me with a documented action on this complaint, post which i will take it further.

                  P.S - I have spoken to many supervisors, the last thing i expect at this stage is another supervisor calling me with no resolution, please ensure i have someone senior calling with a professional explanation about the situation.

                  Airel has got one of the worst customer service. I was recently treated very shabbily. Infact humiliated by them. I would recommend no one to buy any Airtel product. Pls go for Vodafone or Idea. There customers get treated by humans unlike Airtel where we are just another number.

And i had face problem in my [protected] number that frequently it says "SWITCH OFF" While I try to call this number. For that I had change my handset but the result is same. I have good coverage and also not able to receive any SMS from any operator. And my Dad Rakha Hari Roy is use [protected] Number. The number is registered for DND and then also Some Tips pack hadbeen activate on that number and Balance is deducted from His account. Where he does not know anything about that, And due to these reason while i try to call 198 that was my pathetic Experiance for my life to ever call to any Help line Number. Still i cant believe that Airtel is provided this type of customer service? Shame on your Service Shame. The Executive name Tanmoy. Sarol Dev Mondal. Moumite and many more are disconnected my call every time and I tried to call from first three Number to 198 after 10 times i does not get any proper resolution rather than Disconnect the call every time. Then i need to call from my Land line then also i does not get any resolution rather than Disconnect.

                  So here is my First question:- Will i get any resolution for that same? Why my call had been disconnected? Why you guys are not take any responcibilities for solving the issue?

                  Every call is recorded to my device also and i launched a Complain in Consumer Forum india.com with the attachment of Bluddy Airtel customer service. And now i decided to leave this service. I already sent SMS to 1909 from [protected] for change the operator and i will change every Number from Airtel. Today i am going to send this mail every where with all attachment to know that your executive service. Nobody is responcible in Airtel not Nodal Officer also.

                  Previous also i send a mail that i want to change my number from reliance to Airtel Number was [protected]. For that i filled up form and did the all requirement But you guys do not help me out for the same. I wrote a mail to Nodul Office as well as 121 But the result is same no Responce from your end. He gave his mobile to one of his best friend who misused it and the bill amount was over Rs. 2500. I know that I am responsible for this payment but the actual issue is when I tooK this connection, I asked and I was assured that the credit on this number will not be increased more than Rs. 500 both by the 121 customer service and a lady at the M.G Road airtel branch. I was happy and I was very much sure that the monthly bill will not exceed more than Rs. 500. Back in May 2011 I ask the gentleman in M. G Road branch to cancel the number when the bill was Rs. 804 something. He refused to cancel the number and asked me to make the full payment. I argued with him that I will pay only Rs. 500 and the remaining Rs. 300 something need to waived. Because I asked airtel not to increase the credit more than Rs. 500. In one word, he refused to accept my request. I came back to UAE and my brother said his friend will use my connection. I told him to pay the bill in time and close the connection but his friend agreed to pay the bill and use my connection. I said OK and then he did not make the payment and finally the number was disconnected for due payment and I was asked to pay Rs. 2500+. I am not going to pay this bill simply because Airtel failed to keep its promise. From 08-Oct-2011 till date I have exchanged numerous mails with airtel customer service, all of them are useless. They dont read my mails, no english, No common sense in the responses all of them are automated..Can't believe Airtel such a reputed company has such a weak/disappointing customer service..Shame

                  Have been calling Airtel CS to help active my 3G from yesterday and no one can help me with the BB service...Every time i call for assistance's they say to call some else and give me other # to call...Airtel have poor customer service knowledge and is not very help...One person put me on hold and disconnected the call other person said she will put me to the supervisor and then hung up. I have had Airtel service for a long and since no one can help me at this time i have decided to change my provider to someone else...

                    I have taken broadband connection accnt No:[protected] around 4 months back. I know I much I have used and the time o[censored]sage but airtel people did generate a bill of 22500 presenting heavy usage but the time o[censored]sage that they present is not feasible as that is during day time i.e. during my office hours and early morning when I am sleeping that is between 1 a.m. to 5 a.m. The airtel people have did a scam at their end and want me to pay when I havnt used that much amount. all I use with broadband is facebook and one CL site and NOTHING ELSE and these two cannot raise the bill to that level. 22500 is not so less amount that I will pay and obviously why should I when I havnt used it.

                    and i have the plain of 199 Airtel advantage sms rate - 0.50 to Airtel to airtel and nation and to others also the same.

                    but the think is if i send beyound the 500 sms then they charged me ruppee 1 for per sms. and accourding to my bill plain it should be 0.05 paise for per sms.
                    Should not these charges be told to the customers in advance? If they have not, then its a communication failure. and no way a customer should pay for it.

                    they have created my bill of 2253/- of a month. and when i call to customer serives they disconnect my call..

                    airtel is a faud. he cheated me a lot.

                    they dont provide us any correct information..
                    every time we call to customer center they provide us different different information to us.

                    Its ironic because, I am myself part of procurement team of my organization and my peers negotiate with Telecom Vendors for rates/service/corp connection. I wish i could do more and get them Black Listed from my org with more than 1 lacs ppl.

                    i have taken airtel brodband unlimited connection on 11 may 2012 of 870 + tax 107 rs. on 16 august i have changed my plan with 3gb data limit worth rs 605.45+138.44 rs monthly rental .i don't have any phone receiver so i m not making any call and i m a employee so i only use the net facility for facebooking and e-mail.i am not opening any heavy sites .but still airtel company charged 1030.28 rs for extra dsl use beside the monthly rental .their brodband speed is third class.so i want to close this connection imminently now.their services and net speed is third class i will not recommend any person to use airtel brodband services.i also providing my billing detail.

                    If you are in Sultanpalya Area avoid airtel like the plague. They took 2313 rs without giving service for it. by first saying that my router was gone and it is out of warranty period and i had to buy a new one .i Spent 2900 on it and then same issue of speed persisted. They said it was because technically i cant have 8 MBPS there and the representative said airtel sales people make whatever promise they wan and they sell. we can give you 4 mbps i asked them to change it then they said 2mpbs i again asked them to change it . then also the speed was pathetic.

                    I called cancellation they said we will give you router reimbursement of 1200 and will ensure 4mbps speed and will waive of one month bill but they did not. I cancelled the connection.

                    They never sent me a notice in bangalore and asked me to come to delhi court with a person named radhikamehra.[protected]@gmail.com mobile no [protected].

                    Airtel seems to be really going down the wrong path and looks like they are really into all the scams and guilty of what they have been charged with.

                      I am sorry to inform you that, you services are not good.
                      I am unsatisfied with your unwanted services.

                      Yesterday(18-January-2012), my mobile balance is Rs38.80, but today(19-January-2012) is Rs2.80, today i received two messages(on Date 19-January-2012 at 09:29:43am), in which you(airtel) confirming that i have activated "HELLO TUNES"
                      and Rs.30 deducted for Activating "Hello Tunes" and Rs.5 deducted for 30days to use this service.

                      Your Received message....
                      "Thanks for downloading Why This Kolaveri Di V2 as your Hello Tunes. You have been charged Rs 5 for 30 days."

                      I want to make a attention on this subject that, i do not activating any Services(Hello Tunes) from Airtel, but your company unauthorisedly activating this "Hello Tunes" service and Unauthorized Charges Rs35.00 from me.

                      So please, stop the Unauthorized services, which are activated without getting Customer Permission and please, give me my lost balance(Rs 35) on my mobile number.

                      I also wants to tell you that, when i make calls to your Customer Service Center, then, two times my call has been disconnect by your Customer Executive and i lost my mobile balance Rs 1.50 and mu current balance is Rs 1.30.

                      So please, give me my total lost mobile balance(Rs 35 + Rs 1.50 = Rs 36.50) to my mobile number.

                        I would like to raise the same complaint for my Airtel prepaid phone number bearing [protected]. Inspite of having sufficient balance I am unable to make calls and I am also getting an automated reply as ‘U HAVE INSUFFICIENT BALANCE TO MAKE A CALL and gets disconnected. I have faced a lot of problems because of it, unable to make important calls at most urgent times.

                        I tried contacting airtel helpline and even that gets disconnected,...

                        Sir, I have applied for a airtel digital tv (dth) easy recharge sim for business purpose in dec2011 through Himalayan Distributor.They gave me a airtel simcard having no [protected] and mpin also.On 30th dec2011 I paid Rs 1000.00 for stock balance .But they have not paid till 18th jan 2012..They told me that the sim was not configured by airtel .So i am still harassing by the distributor and the customer to whom i am unable to give recharge.As a result I have lost Rs 2000.00 per day in my business.Each and every time they told me that tomorrow it will be ok but the result is equal to zero.
                        So please do the needful.

                          AIRTEL WILL FORCEFULLY TRY TO RETAIN CUSTOMERS WHO ARE MOVING FROM AIRTEL TO ANOTHER SERVICE PROVIDER.

                          THIS IS MY EXPERIENCE.

                          FOR CHANGING THE SAME NUMBER TO ANOTHER SERVICE PROVIDER A CUSTOMER OF AIRTEL HAS TO SEND SMS TO 1900 WITH MESSAGE "PORT <MOBILE NUMBER>"

                          AFTER SENDING SMS A CONFIRMATION MESSAGE SHOULD COME REGARDING CHANGE OF NUMBER.

                          BUT AIRTEL PURPOSEFULLY REJECTS CHANGING THE SAME NUMBER TO ANOTHER NUMBER SAYING APPLICATION REJECTED

                          INSTEAD OF GIVING THE MESSAGE INSTANTLY, THEY WILL CALL YOU BY PHONE ATLEAST 30 TIMES FROM DIFFERENT PHONE NUMBERS.

                          EVEN IF YOU SAY THAT I DONOT NEED AIRTEL, THEY WILL PREASSURIZE YOU BY USING THE TECHNIQUE OF IRRITATING BY CALLING FROM ATLEAST 30 DIFFERENT PHONE NUMBERS FROM DIFFERENT EXECUTIVES. FINALLY IF YOU DIDN'T GIVE A "ACCEPTABLE" REASON TO AIRTEL THAT WHY YOU NEED TO CHANGE THE SERVICE PROVIDER, THEY WILL NEVER ALLOW YOU TO CHANGE YOUR NUMBER TO ANOTHER SERVICE PROVIDER.

                          THIS IS THE CASE EVEN IF CUSTOMER PAYS THE FULL BILL AMOUNT UPTODATE.

                          THIS IS MY EXPERIENCE.

                          NEVER TRUST THESE FRAUDS AGAIN.

                            airtel ecs facility is a scam.

                            here are the traps in it from my experience.

                            they will purposefully make delay in activating the ecs so that they can charge fine for non payment of bill.

                            after that if the customer tries to change the service provider, they will forcefully reject the application for changing the same number to another service provider.

                            i am now in a trap. i cannot change my mobile number to another service provider even after paying all the bills upto date.

                            my experience should not happen to any body else.

                            DONOT CHOOSE AIRTEL. THIS REALLY SUCKS. THEY ARE SCAMMERS

                            AIRTEL IS A SCAM. AIRTEL ECS FACILITY IS A SCAM.

                                I am not able to access internet on my phone from last 2 weeks and there is absolutely no help from Airtel customer helpline. I have called the helpline atleast 15 times, escalated the matter to their supervisor 3-4 times (Rajdeep Sarvaiya) and also their nodal manager once but still the problem persists. Whenever I try to open any website, I get web connection timeout message. Customer service reps have installed the setting 20 times on my phone, restarted my phone around 20 times, removed the Sim card and reinserted atleast 10 times and the best response they could provide is, Sir we have raised a ticket and our technical person will call you to get this issue resolved which has never happened.

                                My phone number is [protected] GPRS activated and I am residing between two Airtel towers but at my home Iam getting signal from one tower that is Mohangaon .Now from 15.7.08 GPRS service is not receiving from above tower but when Iam going to nearest another tower malanjkhand GPRS is receiving .ON 15.07.08 I talk with the call center but still now there is no responce .My phone model 3500 Nokia.Please make repair in the tower which I am mentained above.

                                GPRS, Y Zone, Airtel live is not working for the past 15 days. Deduction for these services happens regularly from my prepaid no.
                                Customer service only give me different nos to call whenever contact call them.

                                I'm a Airtel prepaid consumer of Sahibganj,Jharkhand for several years.
                                In my mobile set (Nokia 5200) gprs is activated sice long.
                                Presently I am at Bangalore and my gprs is not working.
                                I've opted Airtel plan of 30 paise per 50 kb.I have complained to local customer care executive over
                                phone 121.They shows their inability and advised me to contact to Jharkhand's no:[protected].
                                The call on said no([protected]) are being un responded.I also tried to message(sms) by mobile to [protected],but it was also not delivered.
                                I have several expeiences of this type.Please help me including sending copy of this message to Airtel.Please help me or mail me your inability so that I may proceed further.

                                I have an airtel prepaid connection(mobile) and have also availed the Rs. 98 pack for 2 GB GPRS connection. My mobile no. is [protected] and the mobile set is iPhone 4. This is a Lucknow number and presently I am in Mumbai on some business work for the past 1.5 months. Lately the GPRS connection is not working and also customer care is not getting connected after hearing the IVRS message that the call will be charged at 50p/3mins. This is a recurring problem. I am aware that there can be some problems in the connection intermittently but straight 3 days is outrageous.
                                Hoping you will live up to the Airtel brand and resolve the issue ASAP.
                                I had a same problem. . I had activated 2gb plan bt stil it was charging. . .so first u check that which settings u are using airtel live or mobile office, if its airtel live then turn it to mobile office. .
                                Secondly check i[censored]r zero rental plan is active or not, if not den activate it by dialing *567# or *567*3#, after this it wil be working. .

                                Just to add to the complaint.. I was informed last week that my complaint is in open state and that I would be getting call from backend team by 1/20 which as usual did not happen. Now when I called up the customer service again, the representative said that the complaint has been closed and she has to submit a new complaint for which the resolution date is 1/31 which is 8 more days. Is airtel customer service so pathetic that it takes 20 odd days to resolve 1 issue. Even after going to the Airtel office, the issue is not resolved.
                                I am just waiting for my current balance to be completed before I get rid of this pathetic network and switch to a more reliable and friendly network.
                                I am using Samsung GT-C3212 duos, Airtel GPRS is working but when i am trying to open ICICI Bank mobile Banking, Getting msg "Error 256: GPRS is not working" Earlier it was working; even through second sim i am able to open ICICI Bank Mobile banking.

                                  My no. is [protected] and daily I get following message:
                                  'You have been renewed for MMS subscription service from Airtel. You have been charged Rs. 2.0'
                                  I have never, ever, subscribed for any MMS service. Whats worse is that I've had these deductions for more than a week now. And the customer care isn't helping nor is the 121 service. This is FRAUD.
                                  Please note that if this issue is not resolved soon I am deciding to take Airtel to the consumer court.

                                  I have received SMS saying I have been selected for MMS Subscription service from Airtel and I have been charges Rs.2/- (on 30.05.11, 31.05.11 & 01.06.11). I am not interested in this and request you to refund Rs.6/- that has been debited to me on my mobile no: [protected].

                                  Yesterday only I have registered a compliant saying I have not logged into the latest games gclub.in nor I am interest. You have been charging me Rs.2/- every day and I am harrased by this attitude. Even today I have received an SMS from Airtel and I am charged Rs.2/-. If you are not going to stop I will have to go to consumer court and file a case against you for troubling me. You have no rights to deduct any money from my account without my permission. Kindly refund Rs.8/- immediately and have courtesy to call and inform me.

                                      Dear Mr Sunil Mittal ,

                                      This is to bring to your notice the inordinate delay in shifting of the above
                                      mentioned landline phone from A 583 , double story Kalkaji to B 121 basement
                                      kalkaji.

                                      We had first lodged the request for same by phone on 2nd January and by email
                                      on 3rd January for which we received a reply that said that the issue would be
                                      addressed by 5th January¿our reference No was 9763412.

                                      The complaint No. for telephonic request was 9813364 and we were told that it
                                      would be done in a week¿s time, i.e by 11th january¿2012.

                                      On Friday, i.e on 13th January I spoke to one of your senior executive¿s and
                                      raised the issue that nothing has been done so far and I was promised that the
                                      phone would be shifted in next 36 hrs , i.e latest by Monday evening, i.e by
                                      16th January . But in the last 14 days (since 2nd January) not a single
                                      engineer/or any other person from airtel has made any site visit.

                                      Today morning we had again called up and we were given a new reference no.
                                      10382998 and were given an assurance that the phone would be shifted by today
                                      evening by 8.30 pm.

                                      Every time we call up the customer care we are given an assurance that our
                                      request has been put on urgent ..the phrase used is¿ your request is
                                      escalated¿. I fail to understand what kind of customer care and customer
                                      service is this.

                                      In fact we got so dejected with all this that one of my staff members even
                                      told
                                      the person at customer care that if this continues we would get our landline
                                      disconnected and wd like to go to some other service provider. And the person
                                      at customer care said that the request for disconnection would take one week
                                      .Can you imagine that a customer care executive is not at all bothered that one
                                      of the customer is so dissatisfied with the service that they want to switch to
                                      other provider. Instead of satisfying the customer, the person concerned is
                                      telling that the request to disconnect would take one week.

                                      Please get the matter resolved at the earliest.

                                      This phone is in our NGO¿s name, i.e child Survival India and I, Deepa Bajaj,
                                      is the President of the NGO.We want the phone shifted from A 583 ,double story
                                      ,kalkaji to B 121( basement), Kalkaji.

                                      It is real pity that a small service like shifting a landline from one block
                                      of
                                      Kalkaji to another has not been completed in a fortnight's time.

                                      I have recd instant respoonse to my mail from ur customer care department saying that it wd be taken care of but no one turned up even today.

                                      Phone call made to aitel customer care today, i.e on 17th Jan got the response that since we have lodged the complaint today, it will take one week to take care of it.

                                      I am really pissed off with airtel's disservice.

                                      I hope this mail would be taken seriously and we would be provided instant
                                      relief.
