[Resolved]  Airtel / Postpaid Mobile Bill — unauthorised charges (Mob- [protected])

My complaints are:

1) Without my permission Call conference service has been activated on my number, for which I am paying a rental of Rs.49.00 from last 4 months. Even after requesting for deactivating this service (Taheer talked to me, in this regard), the charges are again there on my bill this month.
2) The charges of Rs.450 (in sep), Rs.120 (in Oct) and some more in months of August are imposed on my number on the account that, I have sent messages of these amounts to 58888 (which is indiatimes number to get cricket scores), but I haven’t sent any single message to this number.

airtel suckers, activated talkies pack services on my cell [[protected]] without my permission... and now they are not refunding the amount they deducted... money sucker airtel...
My mobile no:-[protected].i have a complaint regarding my bill that i had charge lots o[censored]nscribe amount in my bill.as per my knowledge on 13Feb my bill was Rs.51&on 14Feb it will be rise Rs.30 more it mean on 14 feb my bill is Rs.81.
So, kindly do the needful.

Airtel Postpaid Connection — unauthorised bill

My complaints are:

1) Without my knowldge and permission GPRS/Internet service has been activated on my number, for which I am paying a rental of Rs.199.00 since from March/2008 to Dec/2009. Sevaral times talked with customer care executive to refund the amount,only Rs 900 adjusted in my bill.

Since 2007 I am using vodaphone post paid Talk plan 298 advance plan, recently in December 2009 I requested to vodaphone customer care to change my plan 299 hello plan. But before expiry date of their request time I revert back through sms to cancel my 299 hello plan. But vodophone customer care executive give me wrong information (Wrong sms key word), so i cant change my current plan. But that time I again request to vodophone customer care and then they are ready to switch my previous talk 298 advance plan with same term and condition.



After long discussion they are agree with same term and condition.

My previous plan term and Condition are

Local Talk 50 p

STD Talk 1 Rs.

Now in Last two months they are charging in my previous plan are

Local Talk 50 p

STD Talk 2.4 Rs

I again talk to vodophone customer care executives regarding this problem but they haven’t any solution of these problems. They are giving me assurance to short out my problem with 48 hours. But till date after 10 days I don’t get any response from their sides.




After that i wrote a written complaind to vodophone customer cell to short out my problems but after long time (10 Days) they are not shortout my problems.



Sir, i requested to you please guide me to short out my problems and tell me the complete producer to file complent against my service provider.

Sub:- Show cause notice for Pathetic service rendered by Airtel
I have a Mobil connection under CUG scheme at Koteshwar, since Feb 2008. The service provided by you is so pathetic that the limit of tolerance have over exceeded. Frequent call drop, deactivation of Roaming facilities, are rampant. Following are some examples.
1) On 31/03/09 the roaming was deactivated where as from 23/03/09 to 29/03/09 the was available during my stay at Delhi.
2) On 16/06/09 the roaming was again deactivated.
3) A plan of Rs 399/- was activated for GPRS & Internet, which was de activated after 15 days, without giving any reason.
4)On 2nd and 3rd March2010, Sri Sanjay Rawat was contacted for redressel of above problem.On this a text massage was send, which I, quote here, ‘ Airtel Roaming has been activated on your Airtel mobil with effect from 03-MAR-10. AIRTEL to AIRTEL Barring has been stopped.’ I fail to understand why I was barred without assigning any reason.
5) Though your signal are available here at Koteshwar, the Mobil keep showing Emergency, which results that neither I can make any call nor I can receive any call.
6) On 5th March, when I again contacted Sri SanjayRawat at around 1300hrs, he asked to switch off my set and again switch on after half an hour, which I did, but the Emergency was still remaining. Under the circumstances I am forced to take the case to consumer court for redressel. Explain why we should continue with your services ?

Airtel post-paid Billing — Inflated Bill on account of unauthorised call

(Text of Complaint lodged on portal vide confirmation code 1ebfa) on 27.03.10 at 11.15 AM)
This is in continuation to my complaint (Comment) lodged on this portal (confirmation code 777ce) on 01.03.10 at 10.05 AM wherein I informed that unauthorised billing has been done on my conncetion no.[protected] on 25.02.10.
As per my daily usage SMS on 24.02.10,my unbilled usage was Rs.18/- which was inflated to Rs.1163/- on 25.02.10 as per SMS received at 8.41 AM on 26.02.10.I lodged immediate complaint on Airtel no.121 at 8.45 AM on 26.02.10 but I was told that till the bill is generated , the details can not be confirmed.I protested on the amount charged on my bill.
Now,I am in receipt of the relevant bill and I have again contacted Airtel no.121 (Rita;on 25.03.10 at 4.55 PM;Complaint no.[protected].I have been told that on 25.02.10,my mobile was used for a call on 56644 at 12.01 AM and the call duarion was One hour,34 minutes & 18 seconds.I was told that Airtel Executive will contact me immediately but no such call was received from Airtel.
I am deeply astonshed at such unethical practise and undergoing mental agony.The mobile was in my possession and no such call was made.This unathorised billing on my mobile no. need immedaite rectification at your end.Please do the needfull immediately and send me revised bill to enable me in paying the bill.
My monthly average bill is approx.Rs.175/- to Rs.275/- which can be confirmed from your records.please respond immediately.

In view of the above complaint,I request the Consumer Forum to please initiate appropriate action for redressal of my grievance

I m a holder o[censored]r post paid mobile service vide cell No. [protected] from last eight years. Previously i have not any problem in your service and billing system. Bust last three months i m facing a lot in ur billing system. I hav paid Rs. 450 in the month of February, 2010 towards d payment for January, 2010 bill. But the same amt has been added in the bill i have received in March, 2010 towards the bill of February, 2010. I have complaint several times to ur customer care personally & over phone but till now nothing has done.
So, i request you to look into d matter & try to solve it as early as possible .

I just got 2 messages from them, one following another, saying that I have opted for Tunes, and then I will be charged Rs.1 per day, 30 per month. Next follows a message saying that I changed the tune, and so another charge of Rs.15.
I never pressed any 0 button, to indicate any acceptance.

I think Airtel is adopting fraudulent practices. It is time we write to the Ministry of Telecommunication. I am also thinking of organising a poster protest at VT station and inform the press.

We need some lawyer friends to chip in with advice about the legality of Airtel's process of offering products on the telephone to unwary customers, who cant understand the process and then charge them. I think this practice should be stopped. Product acceptance should only be through emails.
We should also ask government to tell mobile companies to hold public adalat.

i the owner of chawla electrical, is the customer of the airtel corporate plan to airtel, i found this plan cost me very high, so i gave a request to change my plan or disconnect my numbers, so they gave me an option of local munafa plan which is valid for three months, after u need to renew this plan again, , , from the 2 last year i was doing this renewing from my airtel moble number i.e [protected], because this makes my call usage cheaper, now to renew i was facing many problems from the last days.now again this corporate plan costs me high so, i have requested so many times to please change my postpaid into prepaid but did not get the right information regarding this.so now i finally made a decision to disconnect my all the four numbers. so please disconnect my numbers.my numbers are [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected]...please do this imediately and oblige.
This is venkat reddy on behalf of people who are using airtel as their communication service.Really we love the service providing by you. But we are facing a network problem at our village, we are in lack of airtel signels here. The main problem is we are not able to recive a single point of of signal to in side of our homes..In result we are missing lots of important calls and mails...
We are requesting you to keep a tower in our village at(PRODDUTURU).We desperately need it

My phone is[protected] against which we have lodged complaint so many time for
disconnection vide complaint no 1127412 Dated 13.07.2010, 35184224 Dated 17.07.2010,
1136209 Dated 20.07.2010, and other so many times. But regret to inform you that the same
is still detain undisconnection.

In this respect we held no responsibility for any loss of any kind of charges in the bill from the date 1st complaint dated 13.07.2010. Plz take immediate action to disconnect the said phone and deoute your
representative to collect the apperatus.
