[Resolved]  Airtel / Postpaid Mobile Bill — unauthorised charges (Mob- [protected])

My complaints are:

1) Without my permission Call conference service has been activated on my number, for which I am paying a rental of Rs.49.00 from last 4 months. Even after requesting for deactivating this service (Taheer talked to me, in this regard), the charges are again there on my bill this month.
2) The charges of Rs.450 (in sep), Rs.120 (in Oct) and some more in months of August are imposed on my number on the account that, I have sent messages of these amounts to 58888 (which is indiatimes number to get cricket scores), but I haven’t sent any single message to this number.

this is viren airtel provided me a gprs plan which is free there is no downloading charge or no rented but without my permission they stop my plan and they told me they did't have this kind of plan i[censored] did't have then how can u provid me but i[censored] did't have give me 99 unlimited plan

Monthly bills for the months August/September are on very much higher side.
i) I have not ever opted for Internet facility on phone but I have been charged for the same.
ii) I have not opted for any free SMS package or any value added services.
Kindly intimate me the reasonable amount of bills for the above months so that I may be able to deposit the same.

Airtel no [protected] bolongs to my father mr, Himmatlal Jain, my father, jst want to inform that the same number is not in use, and i have a complaint that, we are geting calls every second day, for payment of the bill, inspite of me clearing the bill on 31/7/2009, and also had given a requet letter to discontinue the services for calls on this number.i am very upset that my father gets a call every time when he is busy with his clients, n feels embarrasing to answer for the bills.i had got a revert call from airtel to confirm that do i want to stop using this number. we said a yes, we got a sms saying my services for the mentiond number are stopd, now i want a solution to this please call back for the same, at the immidiate effect, as somebodys job is dependent on this solution, as there were misundersandings hapend with our employee for this, i am not at all happy with airtel services.please get back to me ASAP.
as per my complaint registered with airtel for [protected](Himmatlal Jain) on 9/10/09, i hereby request that arrage a callback from customercare ASAP on [protected]/ 28389207/45.and a call for pending bill if any.between 1pm to 10 pm, I m fine if I get the call 2day itself.

I have a a complain to airtel regarding my bill for the month of October.My bill is of around 2200 ( even more).

I reason is due to the wrong calculation of bill.

My unlimited downloading starts from 8 pm till 8 am, but if the net gets connected around 7.30 airtel starts calculting the data usage from 7.30 till the time the net gets disconnected and carges for the data usage.

I would suggest you to please solve my query as because of this I am so tensed.

I am the user/subscriber of Cell No.[protected] and my outgoing was barred in the morning of 15.10.09 as one of my bills were unpaid. I immediately made the payment of Rs.2600.00 sector 12, Noida and this payment was also confirmed by an SMS received on my mobile and your customer care told me that my barring will be opened within an hour. But unfortunately the barring was not opened after an hour and then again I contacted your customer care after every hour but they were not able to unbarr my outgoing calls. The next day the same position existed then I talked to some senior at your customer care, his name was Amit then he too assured me that within 6 hours my outgoing will be opened but that commitmment also failed In the night I again talked to Ms.Meenakshi some senior at your customer care and she again assured me that by 12 noon next day my outgoing will be okayed. But much to my dismay my outgoing till this time (18.10.09, time:12.45 pm) is still barred. yesterday being deewali I could not send SMS or even wish my realtives on this happy occasion. Just now I talked To Ms.Meenakshi at your customer care(Ref.No.[protected] and again she told me to wait for some time. This is a continous harrrassment process which I am facing. I asked your Meenakshi at Customer care that my rental of this period should not be charged as I am not being giving the services from your company and she told me that it will be done but then I asked for reference number and now even when she is on duty there she doesnt talk to me. Please note that I shall not pay for the rent of this month and I have suffered almost Rs.10, 000 for continous harrassment and not being able to celebrate Deepawali in a decent manner. Please send me cheque/DD for the same otherwise I shall be forced to take legal action action against you and recover my amount due on you. Even I have been an airtel victim many times in the past, so what I do is that whenever I discuss my problems with the customer care, I record the conversation on the phone and believe me, everytime they have a different story to tell, so what I did this time was, recorded the conversation and I will soon see the airtel at CONSUMER COURT,
last month i did apply for two post paid connections i did recived only one connection and there is no one to answer about my other connection. my cell no is [protected]
I am accessing Internet through USB Modem bearing No. [protected]. From
yesterday morning i.e. 18.10.09 to till now i.e. 21.10.09 07.00 PM it fail
to connect internet and shows "Error 619 with a message A connection to the
remote computer could not be established, so the port used for this
connection is closed". In this regard I have called [protected] and talked
about the problem, person attend the call suggested me to call [protected].
I talked with the person on the line at [protected]. He again suggested me
to call [protected]. But my problem not solved.

airtelpostpaid connection — regarding 58888 service

and i do not activate 58888 services(times news) on my pospaid connection,i don't know how but this facility is activated on my no.and amount has been deducted from unbuilt account of oct-nov 10,2009.
kindly deactivate this service and no charges would be deduct now from my account.

Today I have received a message from you that I have not paid my bill even after the prescribed due date. Immeadiately I went to your outlet and asked them about the payment of my bill, by showing the receipt. They have not given me proper reply. After some time they told that the amount was credited to my A/C.today only. I asked them why it has happened like this, but they are not bothered to answer me properly and simply said sorry. "So it seems that your people are tempererly misappropriating the customer funds".

hence I would request you to take proper action against the concerned and see this type of things will not be happened in future.
