[Resolved]  Airtel / Postpaid Mobile Bill — unauthorised charges (Mob- [protected])

My complaints are:

1) Without my permission Call conference service has been activated on my number, for which I am paying a rental of Rs.49.00 from last 4 months. Even after requesting for deactivating this service (Taheer talked to me, in this regard), the charges are again there on my bill this month.
2) The charges of Rs.450 (in sep), Rs.120 (in Oct) and some more in months of August are imposed on my number on the account that, I have sent messages of these amounts to 58888 (which is indiatimes number to get cricket scores), but I haven’t sent any single message to this number.

I TOOK MY AIRTEL CONNECTION ON DECEMBER 2009 IN ADVANCE RENTAL SCHEME: PH NO:'[protected] ADDRESS: AVADI, CHENNAI.

IAM INTERESTED TO CONTINUE IN SAME ADVANCE RENTAL SCHEME IN FUTURE

1. REGARDING THIS I CALLED 121 AND CLARIFIED
REPLY BY 121: KINDLY PAY AMOUNT IN NEAREST ARS CENTRE.

I WENT TO NEAREST ARS CENTRE ANNA NAGAR FOR PAYING THE AMOUNT, THEY REFUSED TO COLLECT THE AMOUNT HAS ADVANCE RENTAL.

THEY GIVEN 50101 NO TO CLARIFY DETAILS REQUIRED FOR ADVANCE RENTAL

REPLY FROM 50101: GIVE REQUEST TO ARS CENTRE, BUT AGAIN THEY REFUSED
TO COLLECT THE AMOUNT AND REPLIED IT IS NOT OUR DUTY TO COLLECT THE REQUEST.

IMMEDIATELY ANOTHER STAFF REPLIED TO PAY AMOUNT IN CASH COUNTER

I HAVE PAID THE AMOUNT 4000/- HAS ADVANCE RENTAL PAYMENT

NOW, PL CLARIFY WHETHER IAM IN ADVANCE RENTAL SCHEME OR NOT

I LIKE TO CONTINUE IN SAME SYSTEM.

Airtel — unauthorised disconnection

I am using Airtel cell No [protected] since last four years. On 02/08/10 some one claiming from airtel cell no[protected] contacted me for personal information on phone like passport no , Pan no, residential address etc. i had no knowledge of verifying if the personal calling is genuine. I told the lady that such sensitive information cannot be passed on phone. My request to send executive was also not agreed. The noble lady kept on threatening that she will disconnect My cell Number . I approached customer care Airtel through mail and asked them “Please ensure and verify following:
#How after four years some one wakes up for information when all information
was provided at that time of issueing SIM CARD.
# The executive should be trained to be courteous and not to threaten the
customer(The lady today called at17:33hrs)
#If airtel had lost information there should be correct approach and could send representative who could be provided with all information.
A Reply fm them on 03/08/10 was” Dear Asha Saraf, Thank you for writing to Airtel.
With reference to your e-mail dated 02/08/10, you have expressed concern
regarding calls received for verification for your Airtel mobile number
[protected]. We regret the inconvenience caused in this regard.
At Airtel, we value our customers and regret their concerns. However, we
assure you that, we shall take all necessary actions to ensure that the same is not

I thought the problem is solved. But to my surprise the cell was disconnected on 4/08/10.
I approached Sundara vadivelan saying after assurance fm them why my cell has been disconnected .The reply was that they regreted to inform that, there was no option to use the same number as per the process and should buy new Sim card.
They have not only disconnected the no they have also pocketed the money and validity time available on that Number.
Let me remind airtel it is breach of trust and fraudulent way of pocketing money and ask them to restore my Number [protected] immediately.

I tried to call the number provided by prepaid customer people from my prepaid mobile the line is not being connected. I am very disappointed with the kind of services Airtel are providing these days. I talked to a lot of people in your customer care centre, but each time I am getting no solution talks.

Yesterday ( 21/11/2010) I lost my mobile . (Mobile No:[protected] which is an post-paid connection.

As i don’t have any other option i used my pre-paid connection to inform the loss and to block my SIM cad @ [protected]

But NO one i mean NO one given me the proper information the details i required.

In the morning around 11 AM, i dialed to ([protected] ) and i spoke with Mr. Venkat who attend the call, He informed me that i called Pre- Paid customer care Number and he cant fetch the details of My Post-Paid connection. So he gave me one more No: [protected]. which i cant call from my Pre-paid Number.

And he also said that he will book a compliant and block my SIM CARD from unauthorized access.

I have clearly informed him that I don’t have any other option to go with. so he said he will ask one of the executive will call me back with in 4 hours.

BUT NO ONE TURNED BACK

On the same day evening around 6.30 .I tried to reach people and get the update..

Miss. Bhavani from Pre-Paid customer care (called [protected]) gave me a Compliance registration number 197 and told me the same thing and ask me to HOLD for a moment. That’s it. I have been put on hold for more than 10 min and there is no one to answer the call.

With the heart full of pain to say this "Your customer care service is WORST than EVER".
my Cell phone no is [protected]. i have paid my bill amount through netbanking. in month of September 8th, 2010 i had paid my bill i.e. 271.55 RS through netbanking na dit was strange that it got diducted twice. i have been following up with the customer care through mail and by phone to refiund or adjust the amount in my current bill. but till now after 2 months spent i didnt get my money back. i am frustrated with the service provided by Airtel customer care. now i have said the customer care that i am not going to pay my current month bill.
I APPLIED FOR CORPORATE CONNECTION AT PATIALA AND I WAS GOT MOBILE NO.[protected] AND SUBMITTED DOCUMENTS ON 13/12/2010 WHICH WAS REJECTED AND DOCUMENTS AGAIN SUBMITTED ON 14/12/2010 AND REPEATED REQUESTED BY YOUR REP. AT PATIALA YOUR OFFICE FAILED TO ACTIVATE THE CONNECTION TILL TODAY AT 7.30 P.M. GOD KNOWS OR THE OFFICIALS OF THE AIRTEL KNOW WHEN MY CONNECTION WILL BE ACTIVE. I APPRECIATE THE SERVICE RENDERED BY THE AIRTEL.. HAD I NOT APPLIED FOR POSTPAID CONNECTION IN AIRTEL, I HAVE OTHER PROVIDER WHO GIVE BETTER SERVICE THAN AIRTEL

I called customer care then they solved the problem AND refund 20 rupeess, But i getting the same issue oftenly in this sim, now i got 20 rupees lost, i am really disturbed with this service, please refund the amount which how much i lost . 1) Without my permission Freind chat and miss call alert service has been activated on my number, for which I am paying a rental of Rs.30.00 and Rs 60.00 from this month .Even after requesting for deactivating this service (mis madhu and mis monika talked to me, in this regard), but no satisfaction answers airtel system not working after 2 hr after 4hr for airtel side, monika said me return Rs 60.00 after 4 hr.
2) after 5 hr not return my balance Rs 60.00 and Rs.30.00.
3) three time charge deducted Rs. 300.00in my balance by airtel with out my request (my tone activated for nov. and meeti k rang for feb to nov.)
4) your executive call not forward to senior officer

Hello, i was told that 3g is activated and they sent me different configuration which lead me to use airtel live instead of mobile office and when i called customer care after seeing unbilled amount different from 24th jan - 120 rs, 25th jan - 875 rs, 26th jan - 1875 rs, i was shocked and what type of service i have received and never seen internet usage charges 1000 rs per day, i want proper action to be taken and my all unwanted amount to be cleared for sending wrong configuration to my mobile,
My airtel no - [protected]. My complain is rigarding network at my office. It has been croupted in my bussenees . please solve my problem .

I refer to the complain made to Airtel regarding my excess Billing ON PHONE NO [protected]. I would like to state the following facts.



My December 2010 bill was approx. 16, 000 and after paying the bill there was a message that your O/s bill amount is 29, 000
Since then I am after Airtel customer care to please put a check on my excess billing.
My credit limit was Rs 19, 000 and the bill rose to Rs. 29, 000?????? How inspite of the credit limit
On 3rd January I was informed by Airtel office that since the bill generation date is 22nd January, so you have to wait till January 22nd. I had warned Airtel that you are ware that the crime is to happen but you are not taking any measures to Control it.
On 20th Jan. 201i I received a call from form Airtel Panjim office that we will generate the bill on 22nd and GPRS charges would be reversed.
Till 26th January 2011 when there was no reply from Airtel office I again wrote to Airtel customer Care.
They have registered my complain with service request of 35521076, and have assured to come back by 1st February 2011.
On 30th January 2011 I receive a call from Airtel Gurgaon for my complain and who once again assure that the complain will be handled and will come back to you shortly.
On 31st January 2011, I had spoken to the no of Nodal Officer wherein I had once again requested to sort my complain out and have received an assurance that we will comeback to you by 2.00 0 clock in the afternoon.
Around 5.00 o clock in the evening on 31st January 2011, I get a Phone call from Airtel office that the bill charge is as per the usage.
Around 8.30 in the evening of 31st January 2011 I receives an email from the Nodal Officer that bill is as per the usage charge.




I need to put my point forward as under:



If my credit limit is only Rs. 19000 how my unbill amount has gone up to Rs. 59, 000 approx. till today.
Even during my international travels my biil was not exceeding to Rs. 19, 000 with international roaming.
For the period 22nd December 2010 to 22nd January 2011, I had not moved out of my Goa circle than how my bill has come to approx. 48, 000.
During my stay at Goa Circles I was 12hours per day on line with my Laptop, hence no question or using any GPRS.
Even when I had stayed in the circle or roamed in national roaming my mobile bill has not crossed Rs, 3500 inclusive with the use of GPRS in national roaming.
With the average monthly bill of approx. Rs. 3000, how do you expect my bill to rise till Rs. 59000? Is there any logic. ?????? Of course there is something wrong.
Inspite of my repeated reminders, email, call to Airtel office no steps were taken to stop the rising bill amount resulting to the total outstanding of Rs, 59, 000 as on today which is totally wrong.
I do not accept your statement that System generates the bill hence there cannot be an error.
With all the frustration of not reactions from your side, I had specifically instructed to DEACTIVATE my GPRS immediately which would be the 1st step on stopping the rising amount.
Secondly I had requested for MNP request no for which I did not receive any response. With such response from the Airtel and such lethargy in handling of a customer complain, it is of absolutely no use in continuing with the AIRTEL any more.
The bill for 22nd Dec. 2010 to 22nd January 2011 is not at all acceptable to me plus the further o/s of approx. 11, 000 totaling to Rs. 59, 000 is not ACEEPTABLE.




Who in this world can afford to pay a Mobile bill of Rs. 59, 000? Even Mr. Sunil Bharti Mittal’s bill will not amount to so much.



I am absolutely surprised with the handling of my issue by the Airtel Staff and customer care, wherein you have been warned regularly to stop / investigate on the EXCESS billing but no one took the intiative to go into the detail and stop.



I would like to request you to please see that this issue is sorted out immediately and I have no intentions to continue with AIRTEL any longer seeing such lethargic response.

What is the meaning of this *DRAMA* you chamber sitters and chair breakers are doing, while for an example my complain has not been resolved since last many weeks .I have repeated the complain two /three times and it has been said to stand resolved .I am facing the problem since many days .I have requested several times to repair the telephone instrument or change it.On the basis of false reportings the complain gets closed and I recieve the SMS for resolving the problem while there is no visit of any person for resolving the problem .What picture do you persons want to create doing all this among the people sending false informations .Yours is a service organisation and is the base for your business .Unhealthy practices like mentioned above will not give any progress to your corporate moreover it will effect MUTUAL-TRUST in between.

Your e-mail addresses starts with WE CARE WEST, WE CARE EAST ETC ETC .What and how do you care you please realise and justify yourself.
