[Resolved]  Airtel / Postpaid Mobile Bill — unauthorised charges (Mob- [protected])

My complaints are:

1) Without my permission Call conference service has been activated on my number, for which I am paying a rental of Rs.49.00 from last 4 months. Even after requesting for deactivating this service (Taheer talked to me, in this regard), the charges are again there on my bill this month.
2) The charges of Rs.450 (in sep), Rs.120 (in Oct) and some more in months of August are imposed on my number on the account that, I have sent messages of these amounts to 58888 (which is indiatimes number to get cricket scores), but I haven’t sent any single message to this number.

MY MOBILE NO.[protected] I have changed postpaid to prepaid my deposited rupees not get
My number is [protected] is of Airtel. I wanted to transfer from post paid to prepaid . I have paid my bill before 3 month and sales guy of Airtel gave me new pre paid sim card telling that it will start after 48hrs.
That card dint work same post paid connection was going on again i paid the rent and asked for prepaid connection the customer service of baroda stated that it will start after 4 days. Again last month i.e Feb, 11 we paid post paid bill and same was told by customer service of baroda that will start your prepaid connectin in 4 days . Till date postpaid is only working.

Airtel customer service is useless .Please i want the prepaid connection to be started and am not going to pay any outstanding bill before that. For such a harresment and time waste i would like to have some kind of reimmbursement.

Sir i have airtel postpaid that number is [protected] . when going through my bill for period 11.02.11 to 10.03.11, i found that my bill period change is Rs. 471.00 but my billing period charge is Rs.271.00
Plz. check the matter how it has increased because during this time i have not changed any plan.
Plz. confirm immediately otherwise i will not pay my bill till confirmation.

I am a new customer of Airtel, before that i was using Tata indicom. I porting my number into airtel and date of porting is 9 march. I am working in IBM so i have taken (149 rental)corporate plan. My billing cycle is 26 to 25 of every month. I got a call from airtel after porting my number. They told me that your first bill will generate from 9th march2011 to 25 march2011, so we will wave your monthly rental according to days as my first bill is for 17 days but they charge me 148.6 rs as a whole month rental. which should have not been applied and other thing is that they charge me 80 rs for value added services. I need to know the details what kind of services i have taken however i have already taken the 99 rs unlimited GPRS plan. I want the whole detail of my uses.

Dear Sir, My name is pramesh kumar jain with refrence no. is cu[protected], regarding this complain my hello tune automaticlly activated...i didnt call for hello are any caller tune then why activated on my no. also not able to connect with customer care executive... line is disconnected automatically...i am in problem but not connect with customer care executive...
and i am talking with others no. ... all these problem are given to one customer care...he said that me..."Apko kya jarurat bar-bar customer care phone lagane koi..."...It is very bad services by airtel...do the needfull

STOP CHARGE ( MOBILE :[protected]) FOR PROMO.

I received an sms employing me to go for a million naira per day promo which i did.now when i recharge my acct, money is deducted automatically without sending any code.kindly help deactivate the promo.please i am no more interested.

customer care made call me for friendship call . i just cut the call inspite of that they apply that service to me. and when I make call to customer care they didn't refund my balance. and when I said to him transfer this call your senior then they just cut the call. I don't like such king of attitude . please return my balence now. otherwise I will have to change my operator.

Greetings of the day !!



This is in regards to an amount of 4098.60 which has been charged to me as GPRS
usage amount, I have following reservations on this which are listed as
follows:-



Airtel connectivity activated on the phone in the month of August
2010, all bills realised till date and amount of approx 50, 000 has been paid by
me as telephone charges which stands correct.

• In the month of April I procured an I Phone on which also I got
connected to my mails and used it extensively as always but for a shock that
the amount charged this time was 4098 INR

• I lodged a complaint on 29th May 11 with Mr Girish request number
:37673834, and as informed waited for a revert from Airtel till 31st May 11.

• On 31st May on not receiving any call spoke to Salim Basha who
informed that the revert would come in by today evening (31st May 11)

• On 2nd June not hearing from anyone from Customer care I called again
and spoke to Ms Deepa who read the resolution to me and informed that the back
end team has informed us to take the money from the customer as he has used the
service, which I am also not denying but on what basis was I charged when I
even did not ask for GPRS to be Activated on my I ¿PHONE .

• Ok after that was informed to speak to nodal officer again a negative
reply backend has informed us ; than what is the point of escalating the call.

• Later called Mr Subbaramaniam appellate officer who kept mentioning
but Sir you have used the services and I kept informing him yes I used the
services but without knowing the charges and not getting any intimation and
even without asking for the services to be initiated on my phone.



Could someone with authority please look into this issue in complete detailing
and revert at the earliest to the undersigned.

Ganapathy — I Was disconnect Airtel Postpaid connection

I bought one Airtel postpaid sim card([protected]) last year. Then I would like to Disconnect this number so I was submitted some document on[protected]Monday. In my nearest airtel Customer Care center name is "SUPREME NETWORK".and I was paid all bill amount up to the date of [protected]Monday. After some days i got feedback call from airtel Customer Care They ask the reasons for Disconnection and I was explain my reasons and they cut the call after said thanks. but I am still getting bills. I don't know how to deal with these people against this kind of harassment.

Airtel — unauthorised activation of url services

my airtel cellphone no. is [protected]; i have been receiving and being billed for sms cricket updates from an 92351 with web address http://203.115.112.5/cc/?id ; a service to which i never subscribed. i have tried to stop it regularly for the past month with the stop sms to airtel 121 called their 1909 and [protected] service to no avail . it is nothing short of robbery.is this airtel company policy?i will not waste my time by going to their local office to complain . i will be very grateful to anyone who can suggest the best means to bring an action against policies like these so that i can take legal action against the company on behalf of myself and other customers who have been duped

Airtel post paid mobile — bill charges

sir,I m using postpaid plan of Rs.299/- for my air-tel no.[protected] from last six months.in past months my bill not exceeded from rs.600/- this month company give me messages for the amt rs.3150/- I am surprised for the same.please rectify my complaint.

Airtel — poor 3G service

the 3G service in the area that I live (Chabua, Assam ) has become very poor in recent times. most of the time we get only EDGE and speed is very slow. Kindly do the needful at the earliest

Airtel — 4g BroadBand not working

I raised a service request on 19th regarding my 4 g dongle not working. They have still not resolved this issue. Every time they give different reason but no one is visiting my home to resolve this issue.
