[Resolved] Airtel Prepaid — Deduction from balance without my concern. | |
On 26th eve I got message from yr services,that Rs 30/- hv been deducted for hallow tunes. immediately I contacted customer care wing & informed (to Mr Krishna)that,why & how Airtel can can deduct money without taking willingness from the customer ? meanwhile I got sms to launche the complaint thr.sms. I sent the sms. Even after 48 hrs I did not get reply. I again contected yr Customer Care wing (Mr.Lal) I hv expressed my deep concern about the problem & asked the same question to him that how Airtel can deduct for any services without permission of customer ? There was no satisfactory answer. I would take the apportunity here to inform airtel that, I have taken yr services for my own intrest & not in the intrest of the various schemes from Airtel. 1)PL do not deduct any amount towarrds any other services without my concern in written. 2)Pl do not send any sms on any new schemes & disturb me during business time. 3)Pl arrange to REFUND the amount which is an Illegal deduction. Failing this I will be forced to go to the Consumer Court. Pl avoid this activity with any other customer too. regards. my Complaint no [protected]. Was this information helpful? | |

i am using airtel prepaid connection(mobile no. [protected]) and i have received message that i have subscribed to gamesclub and 5Rs, have been deducted form my balance on 04/09/10 & 05/09/10, actually i have not subscribe to any gamesclub, still i have given an unsubscription message to you on 05/09/10 after that no balance have been deducted for three days but again on 09/09/10 my balance have been deducted my giving me the same message.
i have also call to your customer care but they have not given any satisfactory answer so, i request you to please stop deducting my balance and don`t disturb me by giving any messages.

airtel lifetime prepaid connexion — illegal deduction from my no.,thought no subscription enjoyed
Dear sir,I have got a new airtel connexion bearing number, [protected],two months ago. When activated, I had been awarded rs.20.50 INR, as initial balance.
I am using the sim in my xperia x10 from the beginning.My only purpose is to enjoy the gprs services in the set.so that I have activated rs.98 gprs plan
Suddenly I notice rs.1.00 is left in the main balance.when searched, I got the following message,-
Viacom18 subscribe karne ke liye shukria! Dial 56882 at Re1 per min, aapse liye gaye hain 1Rs 1dino ke liye.Seva band karne ke liye dial karein 56882000 free.
So I speculated, each day Rs.1.00 had been deducted from my gsm account.but I never subscribed to the claimed service.
Therefore,i am asking for the complete refund of my balance.the same kind of criminal offences had been experienced by me on my other no,[protected].
I will be glad if the forum authority takes suitable action against this service provider for their continuous nonsense.

The same incident has happened to me too.When I googled to see what is this viacom service, I happen to see this article.
As it is 1Rs, it dint come to my notice till now but because even I havent subscribed to for any such service, I dont understand why is this happening.
Anyways when I called to Airtel customer care (198), they say that it has been activated since 17 Feb and I have been charged since then.It has now being deactivated.
Also before this I had got some Hellotune activated without my knowledge but anyways I was refunded the whole amount later.
But I request the Airtel services to please take care of such issues.

Airtel Prepaid Connection — Deduction of balance without subscription of any service except GPRS
Dear sir,I have complain against a Airtel service. Without any sub scription every day my mobile balance is deducting since last week. Please see the last week transaction and confirm on my mail id and also return back my balance as soon as possible.
Before 2 days i have done complain and the reference number is CBDCC[protected], and customer care people told me that 9-Mar-11 be the last day and till that day complain will resolve but still today not resolve.
I have complain also on customer care which put our call on hold more than 2 min so that your Airtel company will get .5RS from our side. Another thing is there when i call on care number 121 then all the instruction i followed nd finally i got reply from your end call to 198 and when call on 198 then finally i got reply to call 121. Are we free person? have i no work?
If eventhough this my problem not resolve then i have to go to CONSUMER COURT and case against Airtel Prepaid mobile connection.

Airtel Prepaid — Balance Deduction for services I never asked for
Airtel kept deducting money from my account for 4 months for some cricket pack which I never asked for......... neither I got any score updates at my mobile in this duration...... but money was deducted from my account....... when I complained, they deactivated that pack and later said "we cant take care of your complain as your special pack has been deactivated. Complaints are taken only when packs are active." But problem is that I said them to refund the money that they have deducted and didn't asked to stop that service pack.I am fed up of them...... what worse...... later I came to know that there were 2 other services were active on my number when I never asked for them. They keep activating packs on their own. And no message is sent from them saying that amount is being deducted or it is about to be deducted.
And poor response and reasons when I complained. They are not ready to do anything about my complaints.

Airtel Prepaid — prepaid balance is deducting without service
I have been an Airtel Customer for the past four years, but the last one year im using gprs on my mob . My Number is [protected]. since everymonth some message is coming saying that im dowloaded some java games of gclub and as a result of which Rs.30 is being deducted from myprepaid balance every time.
I have been making calls to the customer service everytime to deactivate the
service and I am being told that the service is being deactivated and that I
would also be refunded the amount as I was wrongly charged even after making a
request to disable the service.
now the last three months it is again repeating and the amount is not refunding. even my number is blocked for customer care complaint. im not able to get the option to talk to customer care exucutive from 198.
Yes, I do have received talktime of Rs 100 from airtel. But was it just a compensation? There were 3 service packs active on my mobile number since December, 2010. Rs. 3 per cricket match has been deducted from my balance since then. Then there were two other service packs active on my mobile, I don't know since when, and Re 1 deducted per day. After paying so much I don't know how to react to your Rs100 bonus. Should I feel something better than nothing?

I have a pre-paid mobile connection No. [protected]. I got a top up of Rs. 444/- on the 5th of this month. the balance however showed a balance of 404/- only.
Now suddenly after a week, the phone is not showing any connection. When the above no. is dialled, it says the no. does not exist!
Have been trying to lodge a complaint telephonically but after being connected to the executive there is no response. The phone is on hold for a long time and then disconnects.

I am an airtel prepaid customer since 2005.My no. is [protected]. I am fed up of airtel unnecessary schemes activated on my number without my consent. Few months back they activated job alert on my number on their own and charged me Rs 1 everyday, I called the customer care and after arguing with them for 3 days they deactivated it. Now, they have come up with another scheme, they have activated property alert on my number and again they are charging Rs 1 per day. I am facing problem as I am on roaming. I want you to deactivate the alert or I will have to use number portability system. Please stop activating these kind of schemes on your own.

Airtel Mobile Services — Deduction of Amount for service which i haven't registered
My complaint is that Many times Airtel mobile service provider are activating the Services for which we havenot registered or requested for &automatically the Amount is deducted from Our MObile balance.I have registered the complaint many times to customercare but it continues even they made assurance that it will not repeat & my amount is getting deducted everytime. Recently same thing happened i lodged complaint to customer care for refund which they assured but didnt& continued messaging jokes service to me & deducting the amount thereby.My mobile no is [protected].please look nto the matter & get me my amount refund.
