[Resolved]  Airtel Prepaid — Airtel cheating customers

I am using Airtel prepaid card NO.[protected]. On july 14 2010 7:51 PM I received a SMS from Airtel Number 54321. RS. 15 deducted from my account but i never did that activation .but when i called custumer care, he said("aap ke no me jab ye activate huwa hai tho aap is ka labha uthoo ") .
WHAT A SERVICE GIVEN BY AIRTEL!!!

the SMS content is
You have been renewed for model_wap_pack subscription service from Airtel.You have been charged Rs. 15. Enjoy Models Club http://203.115.112.5/SM/

airtel prepaid charges — cheating customers by not giving talk time after receiving money

cheating govt of service charges and cheating customers by not crediting money received for talktime and swallowing money under rates not approved by TRAI. communication attached.

No credit for recharge of Rs 440 on [protected] prepaid I recharged successfully on 18.1.10 at 0311 pm with Rs 440 coupon .vide Transaction ID[protected] . However my talk time has not increased against a promise of full talk time. Call to 121 operator on 19.1.10 5 pm gave evasive answers.
Please rectify on [protected].

i have been contineously cheated by airtel. i am using airtel prepaid no [protected] and facing problem while using the night sms pack. my balance gets deducted even after the activation of the pack. also, i am not getting my balance back. please help...

i m airtel prepaid user from last 4 years.some month ago one vod( video of the day) service is activated on my mobile from 54321 and its renewed in 2-3 days regularly and charges Rs5 for that purpose . i have made too many calls to airtel customer care no121 and discussed my problem. inspite of that they did not unsubscribe this service from last month.
i m suffering from mentally harrasment . pls do the needfull,

Airtel - prepaid — Accepting Charge - but not charging as per SMS

I got a SMS for super value talk time offer for RC150=160TT valid for 20 days.

Mine cell no is [protected] from chennai. I am now in B'lore and recharged while i am in b'lore.

My complaint is 2 points.

1) The SMS does not say that we cannot recharge during roaming or it will not work during roaming.

2) So, when i recharged while on roaming their system accepts the money but does not transfer the money to mobile account to use.

Therefore i went to Airtel office in Koramangala, Bangalore and asked them to put that money to the base account. Since the re-charge does not help me to talk when i am away.

After a long fight, they have given a receipt of my complaint.

Suppose if i dont return to chennai, the entire money is lost for which who is responsible.

Solution needed ASAP.

I have prepaid mob no. [protected] and got it issued from Main Road Masudpur Vasant Kunj New Delhi-70 .After a few days I received sms from Airtel that they have not received enrolment form as such services has been discontinued.Hencce I was reading on the mobile screen No Network. I went to the issuing shop and told them. They informed me that my mobile set is not working, then they removed chips and put it in their own mobile and then re fixed it in my mobile and told me that it is working now. Another sales person standing on the counter told me to re-submit all the documents again as my form might have got misplaced by the form collecting guy.Is it my fault? It is the company responsibility to ensure receipt of form at their head office wherever it may be.I would call this a sheer harassment and inconvenience to the customers.Please look into this problem or I am going to send the whole story to the media people to let them know what the Airtel stands for.The concerned department is requested to update me asap.

Sort of similar thing happened to me also. I had not activated for any of their 'Audio Movie renewal' promo and Airtel considered that i activated this service. I had got a Promo call and I didn't even listen to it, infact i cancelled the call Immediately, after few days i get a msg from 543212 mentioning ''Your subscription to Audio movie has been renewed! to enjoy call[protected] or to deactivate sms STOP to 121'' now here i DON'T understand when i have not even requested for such a kind of rubbish service then WHY am i getting such msg's. To this my Rs. 35 just got deducted from my account.

Had spoken to the customer care guys and requested them to deactivate all the promo calls and msg's in December 2009, to which they confirmed they have deactivated my services.

Despite of this i again get such calls and msg's and Rs. 35 gets deducted from my account. I spoke to the customer care guys again today and they denied to credit my amount.

Please do let me know if i can get legally thru' this because i want my amount to get credited. This is not the right way of Airtel snatching VALUED COSTUMERS money.
I am B D JOSHI. I want all subscribtions i.e spicy jokes, n news to be stopped today .I have tried for last one month but it is not being stopped .please tell me how to sue the service provider, prepaid connection [protected].

airtel is giving us some option to turn down their services. But, when you try the no.they have given you dont get any response. This is sickening. Even though the money invoved is little airtel's attitude is irritating one.
I am using Airtel from last 8 yrs. Now the promptness and quality of airtel has dropped to lowest level.I am very much disappointed by there service. I took a new prepaid connection on 3 march and submitted all necessary documents and after 4 days i received message that my number will get disconnected if i dont submit my documents. I enquired in the nearest airtel office that there is no problem as we have sent your documents. Now today they have disconnected my number and when i called customer care number they say i have to resubmit all my documents as it has not reached them.Bull ...

There people arre not responsible enough to handle customer documents and misplaced it for which we have to suffer aftert paing them money.

I have 5 airtel connections in my name which i am going to disconnect them and shift some other operator.

Even i didn't subscribe for this service, but they deducted 30 rupees from my account for 2 months consecutively. I tried to deactivate it by sending msg to no avail

i have a airtel sim activated from, Faridabad and now i am at ranchi. tell me the no. by which i rechage my no. in roaming by top up.
I am also getting regular cricket updates from Airtel prepaid sms services which i never asked for. They are cutting Rs.1 per day. I tried to stop. But they don't receive the message deliberately. They send sms from 1210 and the next second when you reply they are not available. I called costumer care but I didn't get any positive response.

Second problem that I have is one day I found my balance Rs 30 less than it should be and I called costumer care. I talked to Mr Jagmohan, Miss Priyanka (Mohali Chandigar Costumer Care). and I got negative response from both. Mr. Jagmohan was not ready to talk politely. He was talking very rudely.

What I found was I have visited some link related to "webactress" but I haven't visited that link and my cell phone was Nokia 1210 which is not GPRS compatible.


Seriously I am not happy with Airtel service. I am getting disturbed by these irritating sms alerts..

I want to deactivate my services forever is there any way to do this... because I know If in any case my one service get deactivated you will cheat for another and this process will not stop as I am getting right now..

This is to inform you that I am using airtel preepaid connection and so many serices has been activated by airtel without my request and charges has been deducted from my account this is not fair and custamer care never responding, I request you to refund my total deducted amount and i have no need of any services acept GPRS, so deactivate my all services and return my deducted amount to my account. I will never forget this matter and i will go thrtough the chanel step by step.

do you think we need cricket score ipl20 or filmybuzz what is this non-sence. stop imdly such thing. I got fed up of receiving such sms on my mobile and it is very much dissturbing. my miobile number is [protected].
