Dear Sir,

This is Sreejith . I am an Airtel Customer an I had recharged the mobile( [protected]) on 27th Dec 2010 via ICICI online for Rs 100. Even though I got the SMS from 555555, saying that "Your recharge request was processed succesfully for Rs 100, the amount was not credited to my airtel -mobile.

Already contacted airtel customer care and they were not aware off .

Can you please look in to it?

    Dear Sir,
    I have purchased a Nokia-C3 model from Haldia Big Bazar day before yesterday. One offer is given by Airtel, along with the mobile that 2 GB of net surfing is free for 6 months. Shop keeper
    told that within 24 hours facility will be activated but even after 48 hrs passed unable to use the facility. Spoken to Airtel customer care, Haldia, they also tried to activate even they spoke to
    198 they told there is no such offer. If this facility is not there why it is printed on the cover such
    thing. Airtel Mobile no. ([protected]) is used to avail this facility.
    Pls do the needful at the earliest.

    Dear sir

    This is to tell you that i bought a nokia c3 phone along with an airtel connection.But even after 24 hrs the free data offer is not activated.It says that it will get activated within 24 hrs for prepaid sim.I called the customer care but she pleaded ignorance about the offer and asked me to call nokia care (which I think is really funny).My airtel no. is [protected].

    I have the same problem. Airtel and Nokia are passing the buck to each other. Even after writing to airtel and Nokia customer support I have not got any replies. Airtel and Nokia customer care people are not interested in solving the problem. Its highly unbecoming of two giant companies that they cant provide a simple customer support.

    I just faced the same problem. This is pathetic !!! We bought a fresh Nokia Sealed C3 froma reputed distributor in bangalore which had the offer printed saying on the cover saying that for 6 months there is free internet connection push mail etc. on calling up airtel cstomer care they say there is no such offer. either Nokia or Aitel is fooling us and this is highly unbecoming of large companies who are fooling customer sa dn making sales.
    I want to take this up as a class action suite and sue them, since this is misleading marketing tactics and unbecoming of Nokia or Airtel .

    Pathetic.

    You say this is resolved. How is this resolved. Can you let me know ? I am facing same problem here in bangalore with no resolution in sight !!!
    I called airtel customer care complain again and again.Half of the time they don't have any ideas and at other times I was disconnected in between when they asked me to wait while they were checking for information.
    this is check saib malime from pondicherry...
    me too having same prob
    i bought nokia-c3 wit the offer of 6 month gprs. today is 3rd week running till now they r charging for using mobil office...
    wer tht offer gone? they thinking that their costumer r fools...
    for more than 3 times called costumer care they dint respond me properly...
    airtel is thinking they r the king in prepaid service...
    airtel head weight moving towards top to sky...
    now a days their service is very very very bad poor etc.

      i purchased a post paid fancy airtel number [protected] from kerala and paid 5000 Rs for airtel agent and used 2 years without any complaints. after that I have changed the scheme as prepaid and this is valid valid up to 2022 .
      for a business purpose I used to go abroad and stay there 5 more months. After comeback from abroad when I try to insert the sim one message is showing the sim card registration failed and I complained to Airtel office and Nodal officer in Kerala. They told me they will reactivate this please wait just 1 weeks’ am calling almost 4 months now for to reactivate my sim but unfortunately there is no updates and still the message is same the registration is failed.
      I have all my important contacts based on this number and I am sure there is around 500 rs as balance.
      Kindly please do the necessary of this and please re activate ASAP.

        Hi All,

        I have subscribed Airtel DTH based on the follow-up and inputs given by the customer care representative that GOD TV (christian channel) is there in Airtel.

        After installtion I found out GOD TV channel is not there. Surprisingly no english christian channel too with one of the popular Dish Channel provider (GOD TV, Daystar , TBN etc )

        Sales team has contacted me several times in the month of November & December. Now Airtel is referrening to IVR conversation with sales personal ONLY at the time of making payment.

        I have requested airtel to arrange for termination and taking back the item installed in my premises. Also requested Airtel NOT to meter for services which is assured and NOT provided by Airtel.

        SR for disconnection and surrender SR no. 4883064 raised on 25 December.

        Please note that there is no fault of mine as I had confirmed with Sales executive many times.

        I have already requested my mobile phone provider to give me the list of calls made by Airtel for get this order in the month of November & December.

        Need inputs to go for legal proceedings through a consumer court.

        Airtel DTH — All chanels are not provided as promised

        Dear Sir/ Madam,

        I bought 1 Airtel DTH on 23 feb 2010 from Vriti Infocom pvt Ltd., Sector 63, noida online. It was installed in time. I paid 1650 Rs by my credit card. The packed I was subscribed was "New Value pack".

        When I started using in the evening I found that all 2 radio channels( FM Rainbow, FM Rainbow Banglore) was not given which was promised by Airtel to be given in that package.

        I called to customer care on 24th feb & till 7th mar 2010 I called daily to know the status. But the problem never get solved. They always tel me that "dont worry ur problem will be solved till xyz hrs of abc day" but nothing happned. I have called them almost 15 -16 time till date.

        Last time I called on 7th Mar 2010. My last complaint id out of all 3 complaints for that same problem was 2132448. They gave me 24 hrs but problem is as it was.

        They told me that this is broadcaster issue, it will be solved very soon, but nothing happed. I asked the company to give me 2 other Hindi radio channels until you solve the problem but they took no step.

        So I request you to accept my complaint against Bharti Airtel Ltd. for cheating the consumer & provide me the just.

        I have faced same problem. Airtel Digital TV is cheating Christians of the nations by doing this. They had promised me they will bring back God TV after some months but all is lie. Finally I have decided to disconnect form Airtel and get services of Reliance which provides God TV. Inside information is that Airtel is demanding large money to broadcast God TV.

        I also chose Airtel (although it is the costliest) over other providers, just because they were the only channel providing GOD TV. And one fine day "Channel 692 not available". I sent mails and made calls to the customer service, all just to be told that they will take it up. No reason why it was not there. Karnataka has BJP government, I wonder if GOD TV is missing only in Karnataka or it is a India wide phenomenon. What kind of a democrazy is this...
        GOD TV is available now on airtel DTH and air tel executives willl realien your dish to an other satellite call to the costumer care and place a request for the channel ..
        IN KOLKATA WE GET GOD TV ON AIRTEL WE ARE ASKED FOR RS.10 EXTRA PER MONTH FOR THIS SERVICE. ANDRE ERASMUS, KOLKATA.

          My complaint is related to permanent deactivation of my Airtel number [protected] second time.Actually i submitted my document to Airtel office Barmer,but after providing documents my number has been permanently deactivated.when i raised the topic then every time i am getting the same answer that your number will not be activated and take new one.this number is very important for me i told them lots of time.If anyone listening this pls recreate my number again.even i submitted 4 times my documents.....

            Hello my name is piyali chakraborty, regarding airtel network i am having a lot of tensions. from two weeks i am facing a problem like whenever i am calling STD numbers i cannot able to listen ringtones/ hellotunes. continuosly i ahve to call more than 10-12 times then i can listen the ringtones and it is adaily issue. regarding this when i spoken to customer care they simply told me that it is my handset problem they didn;t verified their side i thought lets check with another handset but the result was same i call back them again but no one response that whole day. next day when i call again they told they will correct my problem but still is like same. i don't know airtel is having such agood name but but no responsibility to correct customer issues better to keep lock in it.

            I have lodged complaints for last one month, subsequent almost 50 calls to customer care & even appelatte authority nothing happened, i always get not reachable when anybody calls me (at all the places) home, highway, office, instead of ahaving all signals. there is nobosy to listen & react. i am totally fedup with the services of airtel. now i want to have complaint against them. as everymonth i m getting complete bill. when i m not using the services compltely even sometimes i could not access to GPRs also on my windows handset. i have registered a compaint against that as well.

            Reliance — Airtel Sim Card Network problem

            I m having airtel postapaid corporate sim card number is [protected] registered in Thane.
            Problem is with the network of the sim card.Its not giving network in many of the areas in pune such as
            vishrantwadi, phursungi.
            I cannot aford this because i work in phursungi.
            As GPRS has to do with network, many a places are there where my GPRS doesn't work.

            Do i need to swap sim card

              My dear Sir/Maam,
              I am Lt Col Jagjit Singh from the Indian Army. I got posted from Delhi to Pathankot. I retained my Delhi Airtel No [protected] since all my near and dear ones call on it. To avoid hassles, I got it recharged for approximately Rs 5,000/- before moving to Pathankot. To my horror, the Airtel Number stopped working after some time. On my interaction with the local Airtel office at Pathankot, I was asked to resubmit my identity proof at Delhi only. On getting leave, I did the needful and was issued a duplicate sim card which I was told would activate after 7 days. But it did not. I am at a loss of words and fail to understand how my hard earned money has been looted by Airtel in addition to gross deficiency in services.
              I would request you to kindly reactivate my Delhi Airtel Number [protected] at the earliest. If there is some technical hitch, kindly transfer the balance amount to the new Airtel number [protected] which I was forced to buy at Pathankot.

              Airtel Prepaid — DEFICIENCY IN SERVICES

              had sent a request to stop all promotional communication (Reference No. S[protected]) on my Airtel Mobile on 12 Dec 2007. But still I am receiving such type of calls and SMS’s. I had also spoken to THIER customer care executives but they are unable to process that request till 15 Feb 2008, while it should be stopped within 45 Days from 12 Dec 2007.
              I am very much fade up with their poor services... !

              I regularly use the booster card of Rs.85 and my last card expired on April 8th 2009 and i recharged for Rs.85 on 15th April 2009 (Trans ID[protected] but my call tarif was the same even in the booster pack. I contacted customer care(0n 16th) they explained the plan of Rs.85 has been changed and i said how could you change the plan without any prior intimation for a preson who uses the same booster regularly and got a reply as i will refunded the amount Rs85 as talktime in 24Hrs. But till date it is not done. Meanwhile i contacted customer care twice regarding this but there was no proper reply.

              This is not a fair Service. I am using the number [protected] for 2Yrs and above.

                  This is regarding Airtel digital tv that today i called the customer care Airtel digital tv and requested for deactivation of my top up(English movies and English entertainment channels)and i requested for activation o[censored]tv world movies.After this I found 9xm was not coming.I called them back and told them about this problem.He said don't worry madam sometimes it occurs by mistake,I will add it again and you will also get star gold and Sahara filmy with this and no extra payment,along with your same base package.I agreed and told him to add that.After this I came to know that Bindas channel is also not coming.I called them again,now this person is telling me that with my first call they have upgraded my package with just 10 rupees extra,but this new package does not have Bindas music and Utv action(which i was getting right from the day i took this connection).Now i told them to reset my earlier account,but she straight away said 'madam this is not possible'.we can upgrade your package to 160 rupees per month which will give you these channels,but we cannot revert back,we will have to listen to your earlier call for details,but you can only upgrade your package and nothing else can be done now.My complaint is this,plus when a customer care is telling about any upgradation or a plan why didn't he tell me about the channels which I will not be getting even after paying 10 rupees extra.Just saying that 'sorry madam,he should have told you about the channels which you will not be receiving,but now we cannot revert back to your earlier package' it does not solve my problem.I cannot pay every time for a customer care person's mistake.You can see that they want me to upgrade from 127 rupees to 138 then to 160 rupees without telling me the details.This is just not bearable.

                    I am an existing customer with Airtel digital TV and am completely irritated with the absurd customer service from service agent.

                    My bitter and horrible experience with the service agent of your company at Chennai compel me to write following lines.

                    Due to non functioning of my STB ( set top box), After consulting with dealer we have logged a complaint on 13.11.2010 inspite of repeated complaint there after the service Engineer failed turned to my resident for fixing issue. He was not able to provide a proper resolution. He was tried using another customers STB to fix this issue for which he removed the smart card from the my STB and shifted to the other one, after which he forgot to it replace back. For 13.11.2010 he carrying my smart card without returning it. When I tried to call him up he is not picking my call.

                    Note: He has saved all those number from where I call him up and not picking only those call.

                    I tried contacting the service engineer with a different number he picked up and told me he will fix the issue before 6PM in the evening of 15.11.2010. I am afraid that he is miss using my smart card or lost it. I request your help in resolving this issue ASAP.

                    I would like to hear it from you with in next 24 hrs for my resolution or else please advice is it better to cancel my connection. I am afraid no one is miss-using my smart card.

                        i took prepaid sim card number [protected]on 24 dec, 2009.....it was not activated till 5 jan,2010......i submitted the proof in airtel relatinship centre,visakhapatnam.outgoing calla are barred on the next day evening even though i submitted the proofs..... about the products they launched 53 recharge when trying it .it is unsuccessful on my mobile.... i contacted customer care they said it is applicable for me and they are working on it............even i got a call from technical supporter they are unsuccess...............i have lot of references no........ regarding many problems............ my amount was not refunded...... even i requsted a call back from the nodal officer..... till now not received.....

                        Airtel — How to block a number from sending sms?

                        Sir/Madam,

                        Is there any option available to block SMSs coming from a particular number? Kindly give me the procedure or the steps that i can take to prevent unwanted SMSs from that number.

                        Airtel Service Provider — Scheme changed without notification - 9766134364

                        Hello Airtel,

                        This is a official complain regarding Airtel service provided to me,

                        I have issued a Sim card of your organization - (Airtel service providers) in 2005 till date i have been using it,The scheme under which i had taken this card was Friends so my call rates were subside for all the freinds users and my messaging was 10 paise airtel to airtel and 25 paise to other service providers, But since 11 Jan 2011 my scheme have been changed without informing me or giving me prior notification on SMS or call. My SMS rates were hiked to 1 Rs per SMS which is unacceptable, When i tried calling customer care no 198 (Which is chargeable) to know the appropriate reason why my scheme was change i got following responses at following days & intervals,

                        1) Date 11 Feb 2011 Time 7.02 PM - Reference NO: CBNRA[protected] -- Name of
                        Operator Satish. My complain was taken and i was provided the resolution date 15 Feb 2011.

                        2) Date 14 Feb 2011 Time 1.40 PM Name of Operator Vijay -- Just gave a call to know the status of my complain -- I got the answer that the "You will be soon get call by one our Executive office and your Issue will be resolved soon- Thank u for contacting airtel "

                        3 ) Date 15 Feb 2011 Time 1.40 PM Name of Operator Vibhor -
                        a) I got the answer that your validity was over so the scheme was changed but i told
                        him that my validity was till 7 july 2023 as i renewed it on jan 2010
                        b) He told me I never had Friends card as the system is not showing him like that
                        but he matter of fact i am a prominent customer of airtel from 5 years using this
                        friends scheme on this no .
                        Later the call was transferred to his supervisor Name: Shilpa whom i spoke to -- At that time she gave me the answer that the you had made a recharge of Rs 64 on 8th feb 2011 so the scheme was changed but the fact is that there was no recharge done from my side the last recharge was done on 17th Jan 2011 of RS 150 as i getting full talk time on it. Shilpa couldn't give me any appropriate reason on this issue so the call was disconnected saying that she cant help me anymore on this issue.

                        4) Date 16 Feb 2011 Time 4.50 PM i tried calling again to costumer care but it seems that they have blocked my No and it gives me message that please dail *121# to know your Account Balance & Validity ,Offers and start and stop services.

                        Till date I haven't got any satisfactory reason why my scheme was changed and why my service was interrupted i have been charged Rs 1 per SMS instead of 10 paisa

                        As of now i am fedup giving complain to Airtel costumer care every time i call i use to get different reason i request you to please look into the matter as soon as possible as i am getting mentally harassed.

                        Thanks for restoring my scheme but i am sorry to say that the issue still remains.!!
                        Well my scheme was changed to the previous one but now my daily deduction of 1rs have started.I don't know why the hell airtel do that they have revoked my scheme back after several complain but started deducting 1 Rs on daily basis.!!!and my call rates were 30 ps per min which has now raised to 1 Rs per min please look into the issue and do the needful...!!!
                        Till date no action is taken from Airtel...!! i think you guys dont respect your costumers...!!!

                          I am airtel postpaid customer. Since last few week I m facing lot of Inhouse network problem with Airtel, and I had log a call with Customer Care for the same but still nothing is resolved(call getting disconnected). My last communication with airtel customer care was suggest by them that this is only the maximum what they can do.

                          I m paying them not for this type of service, and one should have full right to enjoy full coverage.

                            Hi,

                            This is Vamshi Krishna, using your broadband connection from the past 1 Year.

                            In the beginning i had few issues with the policies of your company but at last i have over come all these issues. Now there is a strange and serious problem.

                            I got my Bill in the month of October, saying that from the month of november the billing type is changed from hard copy to soft copy. Which i never requested for and will never request for.

                            So i called up call center and they have registered a request saying that i will recieve a hard copy only and no soft copies will be sent.

                            After 15 days, i have recieved an e-bill from ebill.airtel.in for the month of November. So i again gave a compliant in call center and i got a hard copy for that month.

                            Today, i.e, 27/12/2010, i have a recieved a e-bill saying that it;s my current month bill and i have to pay the bill.

                            Checked and found that the bill i got is a e-bill for last billing month for which i paid the bill on 15/12/2010 only.

                            My Questions are,

                            1) When i never shifted from hard copy to soft copy, why am i getting e-bills for every month?

                            2) What happened to previous compliants registered and who has confirmed with me and closed them?

                            3) When i get a call from Outbound agents, Why do they disconnect the line before me completing my sentence?

                            4) When will aritel stop e-bills to me and send hard copies only?

                            Last and most important question...
                            5) Airtel's internet service is Flawless but why is their billing so poor?

                            Please clarify the above questions. I am expecting a quick reply.

                            E. Ranga Reddy — Broadband not working

                            We are using broadband connection in our house, last 2days back we have downloaded upto 1GB, now if we are trying to open the net it is showing that your downloaded capacity is upto 1GB, if you want to browse please click yes. We tried by clicking the Yes button but still the same notifiaction is showing & it is not able to browse anything from 2 days. So we request you to solve this or inform what is the solution for this to overcome from this problem.

                              I took airtel prepaid sim no [protected] by filling form with color photo and id from department of science and technology (Govt of India) institute where i am a research student. I used it for 2-3 weeks then suddenly it was blocked and i had no signal. Upon calling airtel, I got to know that there was some problem with my form. at that time i had 350 rs balance in account.

                              I went to malleswaram airtel customer centre and refilled the form again, I was told that i will loose all my account but retain my number an it will be done in 2-3 days.

                              they took by boss's number as local contact for verification and also secondary proof.

                              as activation was not done even in 8 days, i went back and the airtel CC managers at malleswaram centre told me that they see no reason for not activating and they will enquire and sent a mail to concerned authority.

                              nothing happened in next one month and I went back again to fill the form.

                              this thing continues but i still do not have by airtel sim activated.
                              repeted mails get no answer from airtel.
                              If airtel does this to even one in hundred of their 25 crore sims sold so far they have duped as much as 750 crore from innocent citizens like me.

                              is it the reason airtel makes max profit out of all telecom companies?

But from about 3 weeks in the interval of 5 or 6 days, i have been getting message like "You have been renewed for news subscription service from airtel" and Rs.3 deducted from my balance.Regarding this I called to airtel customer service but i didn't get positive response and service is not stopped.I want to stop this service imediately but don't know how to do.

                                AirTel — want to stop subscription service

                                19.11.09, I have received a massage through mobile about renew of subscription service(BRAZILIAN,wallpaper) &cut 1rupee.Then I contact to customer care& from there tell to me this service have now disconnect.But next day again same massage received.Then again I contact with customer care.From there give me a no-*567*2# to stop my network connection.Then I send this no.& my network was stop but again received (26.11.09)same massage.My question is why automatically start this service & why this is not disconnect.Please send me right process to stop this service.

                                Hi,

                                My No. is [protected] and i have been charged for all unwanted subscriptions which i have not made (devotional, moviealert, etc) and are renewed by Airtel on a monthly basis and they charge 30-40 rupees for each subscription and then extra rupees per day. I want to stop all those subscriptions and please do not start any new service without my knowledge.

                                Please note after sending repeated sms to stop these services, they are still renewed on a monthly basis.

                                  I purchased a airtel dth connection online on 17-dec-2010.It was promised that within 24hours it will be installed and activated. Then on 22-12-10 the set top box was installed.After lot of communication with airtel dth people till[protected] the activation of the set has not been done.After talking to customer care he says the box provided to you belongs to someone else and need to be replaced.Local dealer promises it will be changed after an hour or so but that hour don't seem to come.After again calling his reply is it will take some two or three days..Please help now what should be done....

                                    Airtel reseller "SAHA TELECOM" is a fraud.

                                    Sumit the owner of SAHA TELECOM is also not a rite person. Their only intention is to take connections. They also charged me 700 rupees extra for giving connection immediately.

                                    After using the number for 15 days they stopped my number. after repeated calls and visits they asked me to sign a form and submit after a week. after 2 days when I went to submit the form, they had already given the number to someone else and sumit the owner said that I have not taken any connection from them of any sort.

                                    They not only duped my 1000 rupees but also they issue the same number to someone else.

                                    This is not the first complaint against sumit airtel jessore road dum dum saha infocom

                                      Airtel has now started (or atleast i have realized it only now) to provide value added service such as cricket updates, bollywood updatec, etc.. without the customer's express approval and deducting the mobey from the pre paid card amounts. This is definitely not legal and this is to warn the public that Airtel is resorting to such cheap methods to make money from public. this happened on my son's mobile, upon ralising this, check with my parents and they were also being deducted for sms's that was irrelevant for them and had not subscribed for. So my plea to Airtel is :: PLEASE STOP THIS CON JOB !!

                                        I am Arpitkumar, just converted my pre-paid account to Postpaid....
                                        While taking the connection they will say NO EXTRA CHARGES.
                                        After Taking connection they will Charge for every stupid things.
                                        for me when i call Customer care and compain them as i was not able to do the confference call (as part of my daily routine), thay guy ask me to activate that server and you have to pay 50 Rs P.m. I was shocked.
                                        Actully while taking the connection, they should update all this activation charges......... They have very good pamphlet why dont they add this in it.
                                        instade of getting some rough word from customer.

                                        Please do not go for the post paid connection. else ask about all the minor minor services they provide and charge for it.
