Hi,

Please be informed that I had received a call from your executive ([protected] – Bhaumik), he tried to assure that it will take 90days to resolve the issue (which is totally not acceptable).
Other serious issue I need to highlight is that there is some tweaking in the system done by Airtel.
My complaint Request No. 38483126, Dated. 14.07.2011 is now said to be invalid and that I have logged complaint only once in last 3 years which is a false.
I believe that complaints are deleted without trace if there isn’t any solution in place. A higher probe is required immediately.

Dear Sir,

With reference to appended communication below, Please be informed that inside my residence (actually whole complex premises), signal is literally 0 (zero). I need to come out of my complex to get some signal (2/7) with which I could manage the outgoing calls. There is no incoming at all when at home. I lost some important communication (serious illness / death) also because of this problem, which I came to know through a different channel with delay.
I complained the customer care several times over phone / internet since then. Whenever I called 121, I was tortured with a huge list of questions (as usual), for which I gave response with utmost patience and a lot of hope. But the net result is NIL (problem still persists - my relatives/friends coming to my house don't get signal after entering my home). I got vexed with the worst resolution process of Airtel. All the complaints were simply closed without inquiring me regarding the status of signal strength. There were no closure comments for any of the complaints.
Considering the current Telecom scenario such distressful service is not at all acceptable. Trust most of your customers switched to other networks without escalating, however since I posses company CUG card a justification will be required (which this mail covers if remained unsorted).

Till date problem persist, and shockingly the complaint no is said to be resolved in Airtel data base.
Airtel is just interested in cheating their customers.

Hi, I am facing the problem of network in Green woods City, Sector 45 gurgaon since last 2 Years. I buzzed the airtel customer care many time(almost 20 times). calls get disconnected erratically. their is no network coverage in the basement. Networks like vadafone is perfect in our area.Kindly look into this matter. hopping for the best.

my vilage near pengaree there one Airtel Towers in my village only 2km network rang is very bad signal. I complain so many limes so plz do the proper network in my place.
1 I am serving Army Officer, staying Government allotted house in Delhi Cantt.During the month of Nov 2008, I took a new Prepaid Mobile connection No [protected], through Standard Communication, Gopinath Bazar Delhi Cantt.I has submitted required application along with documents like, Photoidentity(Xerox driving licence), Residence proof (xerox MTNL telephone bill) and the photograph.
2 To my surprise, outgoing calls were stopped during mid Dec 08, demanding again the set of documents given above. On enquiry i was told that the documents are being asked due to security reasons.
3 On 30 dec 2008, required application alongh with documents were submitted through Standard communication and was assured that that services will be restored within next 48 hours.( Your sale Executive Mr Nitin (holding Mob No [protected]) is responsible for collecting and submission of the documents.
4 Services were never restored, rather permanently disconnected wef 05 dec 2008, Mr Nitin claimed that he had submitted my documents to assigned office on 31 Dec 2008. The Phone was fully charged with adequate prepaidamount.
5 I would request you to forward my complaint to your CMD so that he should know that your services are deteriorating and I find MTNL/BSNL better in their Customercare.
6 I would request you to look into the case and ensure that the services discontinued due to callous attitude/approach of your statff, because they never took pain to verify my address. please depute some responsible person to verify the address, after 2PM on working days as house is closed upto 2 PM, my wife being away on her school.
7 I am hurt because I have undergone lot of harrassment due deficincy in services of the airtel. I expect suitable action erring staff and reply on action taken.

I have signal problem in my area.Many times i have complained to customer care services.They told it will be clear within one week. But till now it not cleared.I cannot speak clearly.there is 20 and more airtel numbers. we have an idea to surender simcards. So how can i surender my simcard. we have change it into vodafone otherwise you will clear this problem. There is a signal station name as "PAUNDAMANGALAM" within one kilometer away from my house. So please take necessory action.

I have paid my bills bit still they have barred my calls. this is causing lot of issue. I am working single women and it is getting difficult for me as phone is not working since 4 days.

With reference to the networking & signal it is very poor we are staying in the bangalore city(cambridge layout -560008)
where we don't get the networking & signals correctly we are amazed to see that company like aritel is not able to solve this problem

When we lodged the complaints none as taken action & comment on the handset problem iam using Nokia N91 which should support the network.

Pls give us the reason why you are unable to solve the problem.

i had registered so many complaints to all other consumer complaints forums but nobody has helped kindly help me for this issue

Airtel — Not getting network connection

Before 3 months i have taken Airtel internet connection. This connection is one year plan, because of that i have paid full amount for one year. But i am not getting net properly. For first two weeks i was getting satisfactorily. But after that i am not at all getting. Many times i have complained to the authorities. But they are not taking any action. So to whom i have to contact. Please tell any solution
Inspite of repeated complaints about non-receipt of the bill from past three months i have not received bill by post this month also for my mobile no. [protected]. four days back i gave my mail id to customer service but not recd my bill by mail as well. My service request no.. is 35877518 kindly look into the matter at the earlist since this time my bill amount is to high inspite of not using your coneection.

this is vijay..from the 11feb2011 i have given u more than 10 complaints about my call charges. But there is no responce to my complaint on [protected] ths number.

Dear sir , I have statrted complaining to airtel regarding network problems from the 28th of april 2011,but till date no one has bothered to come and verify the problem faced by us. we have been literally begging them to address our complaint inspite of various mails and FEW HUNDRED phone calls.we have only been getting auto generated mail answers and on phone that the problem will be looked into.i hold around 30 connections with them,but am surprised at the indifferent attitude shown by the staff and managerial level of airtel.i am unable to use the phone from my house and always have to stand out in the road and talk.this is very insulting and makes you feel if tf we have made a mistake in being under THE SUPPOSEDLY BEST SERVICE AND CONNECTIVITY PROVIDER IN THE COUNTRY,it makes you laugh at the tall claims made by this company.I have now decided to get myself dissassociated from this company and am now transfering all my connection enmasse to VODAFONE.BUt i would like to register this compalint and take action against these companies who make false promises and harass us if we delay the payment even by 2-3 days,but they take more 2-3 months to even take some action to rectify the problem,how do we penalise them??????

Bharti Airtel — Airtel Complaint regarding network.

Dear Sir/Mam

I want to bring into your notice that since day 1, I was facing problems regarding my new connection for +91 [protected] regarding internet services. The problem was that since day 1 i was not getting the guarantedd speed of 3G services and even I used that Airtel Modem and I complaint to the Airtel three times but they never replied to my complaint and they slapped me a bill of Rupees 2000.

My complaint is not resolved yet so I didn't pay the bill to the Bharti Airtel. Now they started harrasing me. Even I can't use my broadband correctly due to the bad 3G coverage. I am very much frustrated due to the Bharti Airtel ignorance with me. I want file a case regarding this issue.

I am requesting the Airtel to refund my Dongle price of Rs 1800. As they didn't provide me the services to me as they promised and they didn't resolve my issue also.

Apart from what described in mail, the executive tried educating me that a booster solves such issue but the same an individual has to purchase and maintain the equipment. Why on earth in this competitive world a customer stick to such ruthless responses.

    I am a regular customer of airtel using dth since last three yrs but from last few months as i was out of town hence not recharged. When i called to customer care for know the recharge offer he said airtel system is slow please call back after some time. After that on next day i received a call from airtel that under a software updation scheme all setupbox need to be submitted and after updation i can recharge it. first time i denied for this submission of setupbox but i received three more call and then a person named Mr. Sumit (Mobile: [protected]) approached me at my address n gave me a form having my details n my setupbox number, VC number over d form n treating that an airtel scheme had submitted my setupbox with assurance that i will get d same back after a week. But now after two weeks m tracking d same number to get back my setupbox but not getting satisfactory answer over those nos.

    After So many Calls to Mr Sumit, given to Mr. Amit when i called to Mr. Amit he is talk to me two to three days making fool to me and after that he is given third number of Mr. Anil Tripathi. When i called to Mr. Anil he said you setupbox can not be return it is deposited to Airtel.

    Then i have called to Airtel DTH customer care and talk to him and launch a complain. They gave me assurance your problem will be resolved with in 48 hours. And your setupbox will be returned.

    After appox. 16 hours I got a call from Airtel and he told me your setupbox cann't be return. You can contact to metro tower. So i have contacted to Metro Tower (Airtel Head Office, Indore), they told me contact to Mr. Sunil Sangwan, Airtel Head Office, Metro Tower, Indore.

    So i have called him but he said please wait i will call back you after some time. But i didn't get any call, again i called him, again he said i will call back you after 10 min. And making me fool from 11 july 2013. After two days he is not picking my phone.

    So i have again contacted to Airtel Customer care and again lunch the complain. Again they gave me 48 hours time for resolution but till now its over but i didn't get any resolution.

    Kindly check n revert me over my complain and return my setupbox.

    Please reply me as soon as possible.

    Note: Please take a note of it i got a call from airtel for software updation and they are doing wrong with us.

    Everyone needs to red the FINE print! Don't be mad at your mobile phone company! ALL of these "FREE" ringtones, jokes, horoscopes are a SCAM. You innocently visit these "free" this or that sites, thinking you're gonna get something for "free" and once they have your mobile number, that's all they need to bill you through your phone company. Your mobile phone company has no idea if you have authorized these charges or not (until you call them and complain). The charges on your phone bill are from a third party. I used to work at T-Mobile, so I know how these scams work. It's not a scam by your carrier though. You are getting billed by a third party. The ONLY ringtones that are free are the ones that come on your phone when you get it. Seriously! What you have to do to stop the billing is call the third party billing (your carrier has all the phone numbers and can tell you the phone number of the 3rd party that is billing you). Your carrier will give a few courtesy credits, but cancelling the subscription is up to the individual. All of these "free" ringtones and such are a SCAM! Nothing is free..not the jokes, not the ringtones, not the horoscopes. Advice to all... don't vistit the sites that claim to have "FREE" anything! And if you do, don't give them your mobile number!

    MY MOBILE NO IS [protected].ON 25 TH MAY I HAVE RECEIVED A MESSAGE FROM AIRTELL WHICH CONTAINS A OFFER WITH RECHARGE OF 55 AND GET 75 RUPEES WHERE 43 RUPEES WILL BE GIVEN INSTANTLY AND REMAINING RUPEES WILL BE GIVEN WITH IN 24 HOURS.AFTER 48 HOURS I CONTACT WITH AIETELL CUSTOMER CARE SERVICE .THEY INFORMED ME AFTER CHECKING THAT I WOULD BE GUVEN REMAINING RUPEES DURING 12 PM 28 MAY .AFTER IT THAY LOCK THEIR SERVICE FOR THEIR FAULT.EVEN TODAY I CAN NOT GET THESE RUPEES.I REQUEST AIRTELL COMPANY TO BE CONSEOUS AND CARE FULL WITH THEIR SERVICE.BY CHEATING NOTHING CANBE STAYED.PLEASE TAKE ACTION SO THAT I CAN GET MY BALANCE.IF NOT I ABLE TO REJECT THEIR SERVICE

    i agree Airtel is company of Big TIme cheaters...they will lose all there customers one day !
    many of the mobile companies today (including Airtel) today are engaged in massive cheating scams where by they pocket millions of ruppes. i suggest, a detailed CBI enquiry be constitued against some of the mobile companies studying their business practices, and all their records and balance sheets.

    They should be charged massive fines in case found faulty, and if their services don't improve, their licences should be cancelled.

    AirTel — Fraud Scheme

    Dear Sir,

    ONGOING FRAUD IN THE NAME OF AIRTEL

    This is to report a fraud taking place in the Name of Airtel.

    Firstly there is a call from an lady who introduces herself as an Airtel employee Varsha from Airtel office.(ph number: [protected]) on Saturday Apr 25th.

    She tells me that your no. is XXXX and you have been selected to be upgraded into the Corporate plan.
    The plan reduces the minimum monthly charge to Rs.49 and your callcharges will be 30 ps Airtel2Airtel, 50 ps other networks and 1 Rs STD. Also one no. i have to select which will be free dialling.
    All this would come at the down payment of Rs.600 out of which 500 will be refunded in the future bills.

    They said they would send a man to our office or home for the collection.
    I received call from this lady quite a no of times confirmation acceptance o[censored]pgrade, also she said that she could upgrade any other Airtel no of my family/friend for the same amount. I confirmed another airtel 2 nos of my family.

    So on Monday, the represantative came to my office in Forst He was named Jai, was was dressed casually in a Jeans and casual shirt (quite contradictory to an executive from airtel)
    He has brought along a plastic bang, containg 2-3 reciept of Airtel and a brochure of Nokia (probably 1605)

    He led me into filling the reciept no (861726) which was in triplicate. he wrote the amount of Rs. 2450 as being made payment.
    Rs.600 each for 2 upgrades and Rs 600 each for 2 new Sim Cards ( the nos which he gave were [protected], [protected])
    and 50 Rs. handling.

    Then he went on giving me the 3rd page of the Reciept (MY COPY) and left to return in the evening with the new sim cards etc.

    He told the the PLAN upgrade would be done as soon as he reached office.

    He hasnt showed up till date.

    Calling up the mobile no.[protected], first the so called Airtel rep. told us that he would be coming the next day, was in Dadar and gave all sorts of different reasons.

    Now, since yesterday 27th April 2009, she isnt receiving our calls made from any mobile or landlines.

    Now, i checked on the internet and with my friends, and found out that this is a fraud scheme whereby we are left without any help whatsoever.

    I would like AIRTEL as a responsible company to catch hold of this woman ( from he mobile no, i dont this it would be very difficult to get hold of her current position)
    and her associated such the no persons are duped in the Name of AIRTEL henceforth.

    I have told last month (8th June) to stop NOP but still this month also you put charges for NOP(RS. 99).
    on the day itself i did not use the NOP. for your fault i did not pay money.

    myself Shailendra singh tomar, a 25 year boy of indore M.P., i am a regular customer of Airtel , using its services from last 3 years,
    one day i call to the customer care of airtel to know that on which recharge i got full talktime, then the Customer Care executive of Airtel Told me that, Whenever i want to know about the full talktime Scheme i hav to call their tollfree number 121312 and then i got the information of full talktime recharge on my number,
    Sir, on[protected] i call on 121312 and i got a message that if i recharge my number with 56 Rs. then i got full talktime, condition is: i got 47 rs. balance instantly and remaining 9 Rs. after 24 hours of recharge.
    so today i again call to Airtel Customer Care to know that . why i cant receive my remaining balance,
    then the executive named Priya Yogi told me that your problem is solved by 10 november, and when i ask her to giv me my complaint num, she is making excuse and make delay,

    But till this time and date[protected] i wont received my remaining balance, due to whch i am so Depressed about these service providers will to do any thing with customers,.
    So Sir, Please take thr right action against Airtel against this Fraud coz this suppressess consumers a lot.

    I have been AIRTEL DTH customer but a victim of pathtic service and cheating for about a year now.First of all ,customer service is pathetic...I have to waste 5-6hrs to get connected !!! Horrible Cust Rep ppl, they dont know basic languages.....For 6 months or so I have been facing signal loss problem, when ever it rains or drizzles..my reception is gone for 2-3 dys....Fed up i registed a complaint after much struggle.I was horrified even after a week complaint unattended ,wat followed was false promises to solve the problem.Finally, tech guy visited and did nothing..said i cant help because that is wat AIRTEL can provide. ...Also, HE SAYS UR LUCKY THAT UR ATLEST GETTING THE SIGNALS BUT WITH LATEST IS STILL WORSE.....MPEG4 N ALL IS JUST A LIE ,THE SIGNAL QUALITY WILL BE LIKE THIS ONLY.SO Y SHUD I RECHARGE ? HE WENT ON TO SAY WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE POOR SIGNAL QUALITY OF SET TOP BOX ITS QUALITY IS ONLY BAD,...........EVERY ALTERNATE CHANNEL I WATCH THE QUALIY IS DIFFERENT...IF PICTURE IS CLEAR ,DISTORTED SOUND OR VICE VERSA.......

    My cell no. is [protected], prepaid, isssued from Mumbai region. Outgoing is barred due to non submission of certain documents. The prepaid card is of mumbai and I am residing out of Mumbai and not able to go at Mumbai immediately. The documents are not being accepted elsewhere. What to do?
    Dear Friend! You are not correctly aware of the procedure. You can submit the proof documents, in any of the Airtel showrooms in India. They will accept it. It does not matter where you purchased the sim card.

      I purchased Airtel Broadband plan, for 30 GB Usage per month. After 15 days of every month i get the message that i have already used 80% of data. To my amazement i started checking the data usage myself and installed a data usage tracker software on my computer. When next month i got the same msg from airtel saying i have used 80% data, i checked in actual my data usage was only 50% on that software. I called up customer care to which thy said, they cannot trust 3rd party software and its method of calculating data and he directed me to chk my usage details on their website with my account details.When i checked, i was shocked to see the details, internet and data usage charged at inappropriate times when my laptop is switched off and i am asleep (5 am), (4 am)... when I am not at home, and in the office data is charged even for that time. I called up the customer care, to which he said u must have shared your password with someone... and i was like.. ohh is this your excuse??? Then he said, modem must have been switched on, I said but my laptop was off !! So incompetent people sitting in customer care, that this should be renamed as Customer Discomfort service". When i asked him to direct me to his senior, he kept me waiting for 30 minutes. When his senior actually spoke with me, he got my system checked if my internet is being used by any other IP address, to which he got cleared that no other laptop/PC is connected with this connection.
      Then he asked me to write a mail, to which i said why should i write a mail, you need to take down my complaint and give me the complaint number, then he did so. Now, I am so pissed off with airtel that i have taken an oath to destroy its brand image for broadband connection on social media and on the internet. They are MAKING FOOL OUT OF THE CUSTOMER.

      Airtel — Airtel Bunch of Incompetent Fools

      Dear Sir/Madam,



      This is to bring to your attention a problem I am facing since 12th April, 2008.



      On 11th April, 2008, I activated GPRS on my mobile because I had to travel to Gujarat for a week. It was activated instantly. However, after repeated sms/calling 121, I did not get the settings for my Imate SPL mobile. Infact my mobile was blocked for calling 121 and I was advised that I should contact only through SMS which will be replied in 24 hours.



      After searching on the internet, finally I found the settings on 12th April, 2008 when I was in Ahmedabad. However, the speed was so poor/pathetic that immediately I sent an SMS to deactivate my GPRS. However, I got error “FAILURE TO DEACTIVATE SERVICE. PLEASE TRY LATER.” When I called 121, I was told that since my mobile was from Bombay, I have to call a Bombay number [protected] to deactivate the same.



      Instantly I called that number and the executive took my complaint. However, when I found that my money was being deducted for the next two days, I sent an email on 15th April, 2008.



      After that, I have been continuously calling helpline 121, sending emails, have personally visited your Kandivli relationship centre but my problem still continues.



      Everyday Rs.14.99 is being deducted from my mobile. I did get refund a few times but what about my time that is being wasted in calling everyday to your 121 and giving my complaint.



      I believe now each and every executive at your Mindspace office knows my voice. Till date, almost each and everyone has assured me that ‘YOUR PROBLEM WILL BE SOLVED IN 2 HRS., IN 6 HRS., IN 24 HRS’ etc. but nothing has been done. One particular gentleman Mr.Sheetal Mohite asked me to personally call him and check about the status of my complaint but after that he was not approachable. Once, I was informed that he is not available but he will call me back. Till date nobody has called back.



      A few times, some people called me from Airtel saying that they are calling from the head office and also refunded my money and said ‘YOUR PROBLEM HAS BEEN SOLVED’.



      Also, I keep getting messages that ‘YOUR PROBLEM HAS BEEN SOLVED’ and ‘YOUR MONEY IS BEING REFUNDED’ but these are only SMS, I didn’t get money whenever I got SMS but a few times I did get money refund but without any SMS.



      Why does it take 50 days to solve this simple problem?



      I would have simply discontinued this pathetic service but the problem is I have just printed 10, 000 brochures and 1, 000 visiting cards and have got the number on a lot of my websites.



      Please solve this problem at the earliest because I don’t have any other options but to keep calling 121 and keep posting to various consumer centres/public interest blogs/reviews on the internet about Airtel.



      A general search on “airtel sucks” on Google would bring a lot of them. Anyway, there are thousands of complaints already and I don’t think another addition makes any difference.



      I wish I could get Shahrukh Khan’s email to just check from him why he goes “ga-ga” in ads over this rubbish service.

      Sorry for a wrong title "AIRTEL BUNCH OF INCOMPETENT FOOLS" - actually it is we consumer who are fools to have taken Airtel. AIRTEL SUCKS or THIRD CLASS SERVICE FROM AIRTEL or BEWARE OF AIRTEL or DON'T BUY AIRTEL would have been a better title. I guess I will shortly become a Search Engine Optimisation professional by posting such a lot of AIRTEL SUCKS posts on various blogs.

      Bharti Airtel — Purchase details required

      Dear Sir,

      This is to bring to your notice that someone made three unauthorised transactions with bharti airtel through my ICICI Credit card number [protected] in October 2008.The transactions happened on the same day, almost same time . Each transaction was of Rs.6334.

      The transaction ID'd given to me by ICICI bank to trace the above person with Bharti airtel for the above three payments are as follows :
      1) 110171
      2) 224166
      3) 895922
      All of the three were of same value i.e Rs6334 each.

      Since the payment to bharti airtel was done through my credit card, I would like to know the details of the purchase i.e. if the payment was done for mobile phone bills then let me know the name, number and address of the concerned person. Or if the person has bought some product then the address of the concerned person etc..

      My intention is to get to the person who has done this unauthorised purchase through my credit card.

      I would really appreciate if you can search and provide me with the information of the concerned person asap.

      Airtel — Not providing data usages

      I have puchased Nokia-C3 on 03 oct,2010 and their was a scheme that if we purchase Nokia-C3 then Airtel will provide us the GPRS upto 6 month (2 GB per month). First month the data usages is provided to us but in the next month (05 Nov,2010) this facility stopped, when I talked to costumer care of Airtel Mr. Pawan told me that there was a technical mistake and these data usages will be add in my account on 08 Nov,2010 and we have followed all the rules, but this have not be done. When I again talked to the costumer care,now they are refusing to do this.

          I am with Airtel mobile no. 98400 XXXXX and using this number for more than 5 years. Few months back , I have converted my connection from Post Paid to prepaid. I have submitted all the relevant papers at Customer care center I was not in city for couple of month when I am back to Chennai and came to know that my number has been blocked for not using it.
          I have converted this Postpaid connection to prepaid. Again I want to make it postpaid connection. Still, number has not been given to anyone. So my humble request to you please block it this number for me and do.

          I have keep sending email for more than a month to all your nodal officers and visiting chennai Airtel office in different places. (last visit with Purusaiwakkam branch)

          I believe Airtel being global company they should atleast repond to email and call. Which is not happening right now.

          P.S: This number I have given to all major account like Bank, LIC etc.

          AirTel — no activation

          I have a postpaid airtel connection no [protected]. Its last bill is Rs. 433 which I had paid on 4th april 2008. but till now my phone is not activated. I[censored] want to contact me pls ring me on [protected].
          Hello AIRTEL,

          Service was restored on above phone on 20th afternoon, after repeated complaints with your call centre.

          All services on the phone have been disconnected once again on 22nd evening. We contacted your call centre today morning, and we were informed that services have been suspended again because of address verification and that our application form is not traceable and told us to visit relationship centre and submit application once again.

          This is absolutely shocking, it seems we have been picked up for continuous harassment for no rhyme or reason whatsoever.

          The application (it was second application for your information, we were told first application is not traceable)was picked up by your sales staff from our office and in next 3/4 days, your officials visited us for verification purposes and all his quarries were provided to his satisfaction.

          Now please tell us how many times we have to submit application and how many times the verification process takes place.

          Now we are sick in lodging our complaints repeatedly and nothing moving to sort out and close this issue once for all.

          We are lodging a complaint with police today for being cheated for not providing promised services after we have paid Rs 36000 for the i-phone.

          We are also planning to proceed to CONSUMER ADDRESSAL COURT for deficiency of service.

          We are simply appalled at the treatment we are getting in your hands.

          And i will call to customer care and rectified it.           Folks,

          I have logged a smiliar complaints on Airtel India (FP page) so i started receiving call with different different numbers. But my problem not got resolved. Finally, One of their executives informed me saying they are not direct employee of Airtel. I was surprice to that i was talking to people who do not have basic detail from Airtel and addressing my issue. I have sent them couple of emails but they claim that they haven't received a single email from me.

          How i came to know that they are not from Airtel?
          When they asked me to forward all email which i have sent to nodal office and their airtel office to "airtel.[protected]@gmail.com". Even, same question i aksed in FB whether this email ID belongs to Airtel because it address to @gmail.com.

          Everytime i got call from different number and same person never calls back again.

          Number's: +[protected], [protected], [protected], +[protected], [protected], [protected], [protected]

          Email Sent to :'a_kellys.[protected]@in.airtel.com'; '[protected]@airtel.in'; airtel.[protected]@gmail.com; [protected]@in.airtel.com; nodalofficer.[protected]@in.airtel.com; nodalofficer.[protected]@in.airtel.com.

          I can clearly see there is fraud side of Airtel and Self intrest of giving my number to someone else.
          ISSUE NOT RESOLVED: First you should get definition of resolved.

          I have just got information saying my number has been allocated to someone. Wihout stating when i have asked to keep it block for me and Even i got call from 9th Jun then how come to can deactivate my number?

            I am an Airtel prepaid user. I use 3G data service. On 13 July 2013, I had not used much of data & I still had 90 MBs approx in my 3G data balance. But in evening when I was out for some work during my visit at my home town in Muzaffarnagar, I had to call my father for some urgent work but found that balance is Zero. I had not used any of the balance for calling & there were still approx 100 Rs. balance till morning. I tried calling the customer care to know the reason of balance deduction. They refused to lodge any complaint or resolve the query since I am a Delh region customer. They gave me a no. [protected] & asked to call on the same but roaming charged would apply & since balance was already zero, I was unable to call them either. I could not find any store nearby where I could get the recharge done. I actually could not contact my father for 3 long hours that caused me a lot of problems. I HAVE A BIG QUESTION THAT WHEN I CAN GET THE RECHARGE OF A DELHI NO. DONE IN MUZAFFARNAGAR, WHY COULD THE UP CUSTOMER CARE NOT LISTEN TO MY COMPLAINTS.


            MOREOVER, when I reached delhi on sunday late evening I tried calling 198 (customer complaint) but could not connect. Whenever I press 9 to talk to representative & lodge a complaint the call automatically disconnected.

            I need a quick resolution. When I was using a data pack (155 for 500 MB 2G & 500 MB 3G data) I didnt get any message or call from the company that My 3G data is getting over. I could have got the recharge done or switched my data service off if I knew this fact. Further I had not used much of internet. Where had all the 90 MBs gone without any major use of the same. Company actually cheated on their part. The recovered 255 actually (155 for data pack & 100 for single day's use - Which they are not telling who had used the same).

            They should have actually allowed me proportionate data for RS. 100 balance. I should ve got 400 MBs 2G & 400 MBs of 3G data for Rs. 100.


            I face a lot trouble & need a resolution fast.

            Airtel Prepaid — Deduction of prepaid balance of approx. Rs. 400

            Following a promotional SMS sent to my prepaid mobile phone by Airtel, I recharged on 23-June-2010, through a local grocery store, an amount of Rs. 500 on which I were to get Rs 550 talk time. After recharging, to my surprise *123# balance reflected only Re.1. The grocery storewala then told me that the money might have gone into some scheme & advised me to contact Airtel Customer Care at 198 instead of 121 from my mobile for further details of scheme. I spoke to the customer care executive who informed me that this scheme provides me 550 minutes of talk time whereas the SMS had mentioned about Rs 550 talk time and he also informed me that for balance, I had to request *123*8#. No further detail than that described above was provided to me by Airtel. I had even checked my balance after 1 local call and the balance showed was in Rs. & not in minutes. Suddenly on 17-July-2010, when trying to make a local call, came an automated reply that the phone balance is 0 & recharge again. On contacting the Airtel Customer Care at [protected] from my landline member, I was informed that the scheme I had entered into had a validity of 25 days & so whatever was the balance remaining had lapsed. I registered a complaint with the escalation officer of Airtel and also with the Nodal officer. The Nodal officer categorically declined to refund my forfeited balance in spite of my argument that I was not informed about the 25 days validity of the scheme.
            Dear Sir / Madam,

            I am using airtel preapaid cards & our phone Nos. [protected] & [protected]. as sson as recharge my card deduct Rs.10.00 every 4 -5 Days sent massage from your end. So many time i complent on 198 & 121 but not given resposnse & reply from customer side. I giving warrning of declared in press Airtel customer service arresing to customer. But not any reply to me . even again again deduct my Rs. 10.00 from our rechards cards.

            Please look into the matter & reverse my deduct amt & give me suitable reply.

            I am using airtel number since from 1yr nd i have also another number since from 8yrs. airtel co. has cheating with their delicate customers. today at around 8:20pm there is a dectution from my account of Rs15 nd it has happn so many times. i am really get frustuated from ur services. i also called at customer care 2times bt no response i got from there. nd 1 ruppe was also dectucted.
            finaly i want full amont of rs 16 in my phone.....................

            my no. is [protected] whenever i used my message card so at that time compny deducted my balance from my talktime.and there is giving no responce from customer care cell of airtel.

            dear sir,
            As i mantion above i am airtel user and my no. Is [protected] and today i am recharge my account with Rs. 100 and suddenly when i check my baalance it shows the balance is Rs. 0.01.
            Than i call customer care he says that we transfer yur call to our senior executive please stay on line than he disconnect the line. Than i call again and i face the same situation of disconnection but i tried again then their senior says that my bal is deduct due to the use of internet surfing but his reply is not satisfactory because i am using internet on my phone from last 8 months and this is first time when my balance is deduct because i am using special internet pack for using it.
            The senior executive says that my balance is deduct by Rs. 89 (approx.) for the usage something 5000 mbs but their charges are 30p./20kb. But i[censored] calculate according to them the charges will more than thousands of rupees. This thing make me unsatisfy this is reason which take me at your door step.

            Bharti Airtel Ltd. — Charged For Services Not Used

            In the month of June, I had requested for the cancellation of my broadband connection (number: [protected]) as I was relocating to Mumbai. I was informed by the customer care that instead of cancellation I can get a relocation package, wherein, my connection will be transferred to Mumbai and the Bangalore number will cease to exist. The relocation was done in July 1st week and my new Mumbai number ([protected]) was installed along with the broadband connection.

            However, I am still being charged for my Bangalore connection (although it should ideally not exist anymore) each month and money being debited from my bank account through ECS, along with being charged for the Mumbai connection. I am ending up paying for a connection and utility that I am not even using anymore. Till date I have lost close to Rs 5000.

            On numerous occasions I have filed a complaint with the Airtel customer support and also followed up on the complaint, but each time they assure that this will not happen again and that I will be refunded for the incorrect charges. However, till date there has been no resolution from Airtel with my money still with them. They have charged me and debited my account in the month of August and October (copies of bank statement have record of it).

            Below are the details of each complaint:

            1st complaint Ref Number: 2812098. I was assured that I will receive the money by courier by Aug 31, 11:30 am, but have still not got it. On top of it, Aitrel went ahead and closed this complaint without any resolution.

            2nd complaint Ref Number: 5364146. I was again assured that I will have a resolution by Oct 10, 5:30 pm. (spoken to Arvind & Rajlakshmi at Bangalore customer care), however I still did not hear back from them.

            After waiting the entire day today, I once again called to follow up on my complaints and the people there were trying to dilly dally by giving me new rules and regulations that they did not inform me of at the time of relocating the number.

            I would earnestly appeal to help me out here and let me know of ways, if any, to get this issue resolved.

              I am airtel customer since 2 years, My no is [protected]. But before January, 2009, this no. was in the name of splendid Techno Systems. But after leaving this company, I had been issued this in my name i.e. Praveen Kumar . I have requested to convert it in prepaid but airtel customer care & respective outlets refused to do the same, they say that minimum three month time is required for the same. I waited for 3 months & again requested, but again refused, & said that ID is not clear, but I gave same ID which was given to convert this no in my name. I have given many other ID but refused saying that no ID is clear. But I am not getting the point, when I purchase a new connection, there is no problem with the ID, but airtel has problems with this ID . Many time I went to your outlet in Dwarka sector 5, but they refused without giving any reason & many time talked to customer care but no fruitful result was obtained. So please convert my no in prepaid services & give your good reply.

              In the past I faced no problems with the Services but now I am not satisfied with the Airtel services. I am using Airtel Since my Childhood and My Family too. But after this case, I am very frustrated and don’t want to use any kind of airtel services in the future.

              Please look in the matter so that it can be solved earliest.

              Airtel Mobile Service — Recharge regarding

              On receiving an offer for recharge in my mobile no.[protected], I have read 30Days as 300 inadvertently and charged for Rs.916/-Only after recharging it came to my notice that it was only 30 days validity.Actually a space bar in between 30 and Days was missing in your offer.
              The offer was
              916 Golden recharge...........Dtls 51572.
              Hence I request that the remitted amount may be changed to normal scheme at the earliest.
              Kindly note that I and all my family members use the airtel service despite several offers for women and for State Govt. employees( I being an woman employee of Kerala State) offered by BSNL.

              AirTel — COMPLAINT ABOUT RECHARGE

              I Jaspal Singh want to tell that I am using Airtel Number [protected] which is Prepaid. As per the Airtel Scheme I always recharge my card with Rs. 75 in which I get Rs. 75 as the full recharge value valid for 7 Days. I recharged my account on 5th through an easy recharge dealer who are involved in recharging any mobile number as well have the facility to pay your electricity bills and telephone bills. But I could not get any recharge from that, whereas the amount was deducted from the dealer's account. When I called the customer care, i could not connect my call to the customer care as it became a paid call from this month onwards. So i could not fire a complaint against the problem in the customer care. After that I got a survey message from Airtel to asking me to give a brief about the call and service which they give us. There also I replied that I was not satisfied with the service. Still I did not get any call from the customer care of Airtel.

              Now I would be very obliged if I could get the recharged amount refunded to my account.

              I tried for recharge in Airtel. I gave all the details in their site. After final stage they took the money from my accout they didn't recharge my mobile. After that I am able to raise a request to them and also cusntomer care are not be able to connect.

                ir again Airtel done an unauthorized deduction as i have not done any paid games download from my mobile but AIRTEL have deducted inr 50.00 from my mobile @ 4.40 pm on 11h July 2013 and also on today @ 9.21am they have deducted rs 50 mentioning value added pack,again three other deductions have been made , and all the details has been attached on add photo link please go thru the matter

                so far my knowledge concern airtel has a program to deduct unused amount from customer periodically by cheating us,
                this is the fifth consecutive unauthorized deduction from my account the first two has reverted and they have not taken any action to revert the next three deductions .

                so please return my amount as i have not even use this service, but when i dial customer care no body is lifting the phone after deducting the prescribed .00.50 INR for 3 min,
                but as per govt policy the complaint should lodge @198 without any charge, but the airtel is deducting the amount and not connecting to any customer care persons, this is also illegal, this is the repeated and deduction within this week but airtel has returned my previous deduction under same category which was deducted on 7th july and reversed on 10th july, so please do not repeat the same harassment to a genuine customer

                Ihave both Prepaid and Postpaid connections.for my prepaid connections I have registered for DND service.Ireescpective of the fact iam receiving Promotional SMS form Airtel and with out my consent for subscription I am being auto renewing to the services which i do not want...and BALANCES ARE BEING DEDUCTED FROM MY ACCOUNT DAY AFTER DAY..for those service which i do not want to subscribe..

                Airtel Mobile — Cheated by Airtel

                My Airtel no if [protected]. I was using the rs.499 blackberry plan and the bill amount went to more than rs.9000 for just a week. Dont know how this could go so much and Airtel has not given any detailed bill on this. I could not afford to pay this in one go and so told Airtel this would be done in parts of rs.3000 every month. It was agreed that there would be no late payment fees but now Airtel has charged rs 488 as late fees. I had also disconnected my blackberry services on Dec 7th but they charged blackberry charges of rs.899 for a whole month. I had sent a mail disconnecting the blackberry services by 7th Dec. Its a shame that a customer like me who has been with Airtel for 7 years could not be given a waiver or discount in the bill. They could have easily treated it with the rs.899 plan and waived off the amount. Atleast I expected a discount. Pathetic customer service and its sad Airtel is treating customer shabbily. Have stopped blackberry services and just waiting for number portability to shift to another service provider.

                I am a pre-paid user of Air tel since last 4 years. My number is [protected] balasore circle of orissa. On 31st oct 11 at about 17.50 hrs a call came. The call was hello tune call from air tel service. just i received the call a sms came that "thank you for choosing hello tunes, you have been charged Rs30 for 30 days. Again another sms came from AK54888 that Rs 15 for 90 days . Total Rs 45/- has been ddeducted from may talk value. Just I am reading the sms with my surprise i came to know that I can stop service by dialing[protected]. Within second , I rang to stop to the aforesaid no.Again another sms came that services stopped. But what is this? Without my consent and within some second how my talk value will be reduced . Sir, I am a faithful customer of your company since 4 years. Please do not do this. You are kindly requested to refund my talk value which was deducted by you wrongly. I am sure you will be kind enogh and refund my talk value immediately. I also promise you that, I will be with air tel as I was for the last 4 years. Hoping a favourable action from your end.

                Airtel prepaid mobile — inappropriate/ wrong deduction

After that i called customer care and was told that the bal. Was deducted wrongly and kindly talk to his senior. After that my call was put on hold and it remained silent till i disconnected.                       I have taken a BROADBAND CONNECTION with AIRTEL . The problem is that for the first 10 days it had worked properly , and after that from past 15 days Iam not getting the internet connection .I had contacted the AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE REPRESENTATIVES for more than 30 times since 13 days , they people are not responding to the calls and if iam calling them repeatedly ,they are taking the complaint and ,they are saying that our CUSTOMER CARE REPRESENTATIVES will come to your house next day morning and fix the problem ,But those people are not coming ,For this reason only i had taken a leave for 3 days with out going to office ,but the representatives are not coming to fix my problem ,Again if i call them they are repeating the same that they vl come tomorrow .My reference number is 35240766.Today again i had called them and they have done the same and gave me the reference number 35591760.





                      Airtel Broadband connection is the worst i had ever experienced.

                      Those people will beg like anything for taking a connection and after taking connection , we have to beg for them to resolve the issues.

                      I request all the customers to not take any connection from Airtel.

                      This is mukul from noida. I have a problem from Airtel Broadband. I m going to tell every thing. One day there was a call for me from Airtel Executive, He ask me , Sir are you intrested to have a internet connection, I say yes. after some time again a call and that executive says , Sir i m sendind an executive to your home plz provide some documents to that one. I dont have my current address so he chargs 200 Rs. and say we will arrange rent aggrement for you in 24 hours and also give their conct no . But no Response after that day till now , He is not picking the call and he has changed his phone number .Whats going on and this will not create a good image of Airtel. That Executive have spoiled the goodwill of Airtel. This is not good . Name of that executive is Sharad ranjan, and I have all that documents given by that executive includind all receipt. It's up to Airtel and It's honesty what action Airtel wish to take.

                      Bharti Airtel — connection problems

                      I have been facing major connection problem in my college and hostel campus. I never get network in my room and hence neither anybody can call me nor I can call anybody if I am into my room. Even if my mobile shows some tower, I can not connect to anybody.
                      I have been facing this problem since more than a month. not only me but many of the frustrated people have already logged complaint for no conncetivity in the hostel. But till now nothing has been done to resolve this problem and even did not tell us why this problem is arising and how much time will be required to resolve the problem. This is really very irritating and annoying.
                      We people, here in somaiya campus Vidya vihar, Mumbai, 400077, are completely fade up with the service level and connection problems related to airtel. We are not being listen by any of the airtel executives and no body is ready to take responsibility for the problems. Had it been happened in Canada or US, proper action would have been taken within few hours and company would have given proper reasons for the problems with due apologies.
                      now all o[censored]s are planning to switch to some other mobile service provider. The only problem we will face is that we will have to change our mobile no. But this the extreme of the carelessness and ignorance of the customers. I can assure you all that if this behaviour of airtel persist for some more time, they will have to pay a huge loss for this type of extreme poor customer services.
                      I hope our voice will be listen by the Airtel people and proper will be taken asap.

                      Airtel — Regarding Broadband connectivity

                      Dear Sir
                      I had contacted airtel for a broadband connectivity and in response to my request one Mr. Sohaib had called upon me at my residence at House No.635, Near Saimandir, Sundar Nagar, Raipur(Chhattisgarh)on August 20, 2008. He advised me to remit Rs.200 for the fresh connectivity. I was then given to understand that the connection would be made available to me the next day. On 21st there was not development and therefore on 22nd I had contacted Shri Sohaib to enquire as to what happened he advised me to contact one Mr. Malviya in this connection which I did and there was no improvement in the situation. Meanwhile the family living on the first floor of my house had also applied for a new connection. I had been repeatedly contacting both Mr.Sohaib and Malviya regarding the connection and on 23th they told me that there is some technical problem in giving connectivity viz., non availability of space in the distribution box and also in laying the line. This was again confirmed by their Bhopal Office. Then ultimately I asked Sohaib as to when it will be possible for them to give me the connection. In reply he said positively on 25 by 4.oo p.m. he said he would make available the connection to me or else he would return the money to me. Then for 2 days I was out of station. And on my return yesterday I contacted them in the morning they said that they are trying to do it.
                      However in the afternoon I was given to understand that the their representatives had come to give connection to the family staying upstairs. Then again on enquiry I was told that there is again some technical problem in giving connectivity. Then when I told them that how is it that there is no technical problem to give connectivity to the person who had applied later and also staying in the same building whrere I am staying then they did not know what to say they said that it is reported that there is some technical problem to give connectivity in my house. Then again I contacted their Bhopal Office through voicemail and they told me that the application has been rejected. Now after theis when I informed Mr. Sohaib about this he said that I would have to fill a fresh application and pay another Rs.200 for getting the connectivity. Then I informed him that I do not require their connectivity and that he should pay me Rs.200 for which he said that he will try to repay in the form of a cheque whereas he had taken cash from me.
                      Will the company take necessary steps to look into this matter and arrange to get me my deposit back at the earliest and also punish the concerned officials to cheat the public like this.

                      One day I got an sms requesting me to contact Agarwal Info, Chennai if in case I need Airtel broadband connection. Guess it is a franchise of Airtel. The following were the nos mentioned in the sms:
                      [protected], [protected]. I called one of these no. as I was in need of Braodband connection. One guy named Harish picked the call. He asked for my address to check the feasiblity in my area as I resided in sholinganalur, Chennai. After an hour I got a call back from him stating me that it is possible for Airtel broadband connection at my home. He requested me to pay a sum of 500Rs to the marketing guy named Magesh. His mobile no. is [protected]. He got my photograph, 570 Rs from me and promised i will get the connection in 4 days time. Then 5th day I called him. He told me to talk with a guy named Krishnakumar who is also an employee of Agarwal info. His mobile no. is [protected]. He didnt respond properly. Every day I used to call him. He was jeep on dragging day by day. Then after 3 weeks time he told me to talk with his manager named Baskar. His mobile no. is [protected]. This guy checked with other team and told me that my house is 95M away from the dp box and it is not possible for them to give connection.
                      I asked him why the hell they checked for the feasiblity and got 570 Rs from me. He apologised and told that i can be moved to cancelation and I will be getting my money back in 10 days. Yesterday, suddenly Airtel people came to my home for installation. I called baskar why he told that it was not possible previiously. He again apologised and told that his team has achieved the target for the previous month. So, moved my application to next month. So, whatever these people said was not true. They are very big frauds. If you want to get a Airtel broadband connection please go to Airtel showroom direcly rather than going to franshise like Agarwal Info. Because of Agarwal Info., Airtel's name is getting spoiled though they provide good service. Now I go with TATA INDICOM.
                      Those people are not ready to cancel my connection too. Now my moeny is in vain. Could you please help me in getting the money back. In this world of recession 570 bugs is really a big money for me.

If the service is not available with the customer care then whats the use of calling it as I told to the csr but she started behaving differently & was behaving so rude.

                      Airtel Broadband connection. — Regarding connection.

                      I had applied for Airtel broadband connection in August 2009 through a phone line, evey formality was completed, but they were anable to provide me the connection, they took Rs 1610 and returned only 1000 Rs back, also they took 200 Rs for the documentation. The executive who did this was Ravi Rajput. I want to put a charge on them to pay my money back, with all my wastage of additional money and time. Its being 6 months and they said you will be refunded the money back in 45 days

AFTER TAKING MONEY SOME 15-16 DAYS LATER THEY TOLD US ITS NOT POSSIBLE TO PROVIDE INTERNET CONNECTION IN OUR AREA.

                      WHEN WE HAVE TOLD THEM TO REFUND OUR MONEY THEY TOLD US IT WILL TAKE SOME 15 DAYS OF TIME TO REFUND OUR MONEY.BUT STILL I AM WAITING FOR THAT RS1500.WE HAVE LODGED SEVERAL COMPLAINTS AGAINST THIS BUT NEITHER OF OUR COMPLAINTS WERE PROCESSED.                       Airtel — airtel broadband internet connection problem getting no response

                      I am having airtel broadband internet connection problem.I launched a complain 3 days back but i am not getting positive feedback.I also paid my bill but the condition is same.Whenever i call customer i do not get response.

                      Airtel Voice and Broadband — Very Very poor Customer Service

                      I have been using Airtel Broadband and Telphone connection for the past 2 years; I changed from BSNL for the speed and the customer service. But Airtel Service is completely pathetic. Here are the list of concerns:

                      For the past two occassions; once for my Broad Band - Complaint No : 40405316 and recently for my telephone land line - Complaint No :45037670; both these complaints were closed by the engineers without even finishing the task. I have never seen this kind of service; how can a person close the call when its not completed by simply putting they have confirmed from us. And in both the cases no one had called to confirm the same; and I would be waiting for the problem to be rectified. When I called up Airtel's call centre I was told that the call has already been closed and I need to log in a fresh call. Is this a kind of service we get from the "so called" no.1 service provider. There is no Service sheet or anything where the customer has to sign, engineers can just close the call looks like and they just close the calls without even completing it.

                      Getting your call centre agent takes min. 15 mins and they disconnect the call telling technical error when asked to transfer to the escalation department. Believe me I had to spend around 1 hour from my mobile (had to call up thrice) to get to the escalation department but it was in vain.
                      Will Airtel refund me the cost spent from my vodafone mobile?

                      Iam advising all my friends please dont take Airtel connection instead go for a data card, much more easy and convenient and I really feel for changing from BSNL to Airtel.

                      I registered the complaint on 23/APR/2011. More than 10 days is over and they didn't resolve the issue. Very bad thing is they closed complaint twice without resolving the issue. To call them we need spent more money and time. They are not responding properly also.

                      Airtel Broadband — Poor Internet Connection Customer Care not Responding

                      I am facing problem in my 1mbps internet connection provided by Airtel.I have to refresh the page again and again to browse.
                      Lodged a complaint against this issue and airtel representative visited and found out some fault in router and promised to change the router.
                      He did not visited again and when i called him he said his location is changed and asked me to lodge a new complain.I lodged a new complain but noone is responding to our call.
                      Very useless customer care and service.Bound to be with Airtel as we dont have any other service providers in our apartment.
                      Hope I get Reliance Broadband soon in our apartment.

                      Bharti Airtel Limited — Airtel Broadband not working

                      I paid my dues on Saturday, 12th May 2012 and informed the Airtel Customer Care about my payment. My Complain Number was 15669864. This case was to be solved by Sunday, 13th May 2012, as per their message receivedon my cell phone. On Monday I received a message that my problem has been solved and my case is closed. But nobody from airtel visited my place and my problem was not solved. So, I again lodged a complain with them on Monday, 14th May 2012. And again I was given a complain no. - 15728388 and was told by the customer care executive that my problem will be solved by 15th May 2012. But still my broadband is not working. Moreover, I am unable to get to their customer care executive. Everytime, the line gets disconnected. I dont have any clues about my complain status. I also lodged a complaint with PGPORTAL.GOV.IN. My Registration No. was - DOTEL/E/2012/08281. Its also of no use. I feel like cheated. Our government is also least bothered about these things. I dont know why they have opened this website when they were not interested in working against these fraud companies.

                        This is Pushkar Pethe, sharing my experiences here regarding a process of Transfer of authorities. (Blood relation transfer of the SIM card registered in my Dad's name to mine - application submitted with the NOC's of both - me and my dad and address and ID proof documents)
                        Following are the series of incidences that took place -

                        Visit 1: submission of application form – 22nd June
                        Visited the gallery for collection of form, I was informed that my dad’s details will be required. So, I filled in the form accordingly. On the day of submission, the executive told me that he would need my details(??) and not my dad’s. I had to follow the entire process again.

                        Visit 2: submission of revised application form – 24th June
                        Submitted the revised application form and was assured that the process will be done in 4 working days and hand me over a new micro sim card and registers the sim number in online application form

                        Visit 3: Follow up – 1st July
                        How pathetic is this that the customer has to visit the gallery for follow up(??) and stay stranded for hours in the queue!! when its airtel’s responsibility to update about the status when they had crossed the said timeline of 4 working days!! And…at the end , the answer i got is:“ sorry sir, your request has been declined; [B]I forgot to upload your airtel account number.[/B] The process will take another 3 days to initiate!! ” and also informed me that he couldn't activate Rental 199 plan(even though its a general plan open to all) and that, I had to compulsorily go for Rental 249!! This is stealing money... OFFICIALLY!

                        Visit 4: 4th July
                        I got a call on the previous day saying that the SIM card number given by the executive was invalid(??) and the person asked me to visit the gallery and to get the SIM changed!! How shameful is this?? A SIM card issued from authorized Airtel Relationship Centre was unauthenticated!! The SEVERE PROCESS LAG!
                        When I went there…waited for half an hour to be attended..& ultimately another amazing response “ Sir, the call you got was for the previous request that was rejected!!” I felt so dejected and frustrated that I felt like suing AIRTEL for all the trouble.
                        Again the same response: “ it will take another 4 days to initiate the process?!!!”

                        July 9: finally something good happened..the process got initiated..My SIM card stopped working @ around 12 noon. Verification happened on the same day... and look at the SMART approach...the new SIM is not yet activated..and old one is disconnected!!

                        Its been 5th day that my number is not working..NOBODY could answer WHY?! It is my right to know the whereabouts of the process I'm stuck in. I have been following up with Airtel for getting this done, but all they could provide me is-only a promise to UPDATE about the status. None of them ever talked about getting it done!! Its only, this, morning when I warned Airtel to be sued for all this inconvenience, trouble and stress, somebody, form 'Airtel Presence', contacted me - asking the details AGAIN??!! As if I have got no other work to do but to stay at home waiting for their call just to elaborate the problem!!

                        Visit 5: 13 July 2013

                        visited the gallery again @ 5.00 pm with a motive of having an update and sorting out the problem. This time had a word with the store manager. She assured me that the service will be restored on my new SIM in an hour, since she was personally following up with the concerned department and people. Left the gallery with a ray of hope..but alas!! the misfortune continued..waited till 7.00 pm hoping to get my SIM card working..but surprisingly, no courtesy shown even by the manager, to call up and update about technical problem not getting resolved!!
                        Its July 14, even by the end of the day, I have not received any communication or assurance from company...I wish i could replace 'Har ek friend' with the word 'Airtel' in the tagline of one of their campaigns!! This is what the company deserves!

                        Where are we heading to?? This insensitive and irresponsible behavior is costing us our present!! Consumers have no value in this service chain..it seems..If its only business and money that matters to such companies who are not willing to care for their customers, we need reunite and stand against them. I hope to get justice one day!

                        Good service to raise a complaint " IF i get an appropriate response and co-operation" only then...
                        This is redeculass as i have paid an amount of 2000rs and i am maintaing a clear account.. still the [censored] up is that Aitel's stupid asses have the guts to withdraw my outgoing facility...!!! Jerks!! and after i spoke to a customer care Executive ( AMIT) around 1:00pm to day that is 13th march 08, he assurs that it will be activated within 4 hours and till now its the same no response ... He also accepted that it was their mistakle and i have cleared my accounts on time... I need a reason for this and an appology... my mob number is +91 [protected].

                        These people should hire good people not just give a job to students or people who have zero knowledge about systems ... Just to coomplete targets it dosnt mean u recuit any one and creat a image which is just fake and nothing else.

                        I swear if this does not get activated in the next 30 mins i will sue the company and rip the nearest outlet, ,

                        This is not fair and not exceptable at all... they need to get a break and change their name from " Airtel to faketel"

                        Airtel — Poorest customer service ever

                        I have called numerous times to customer care to solve this. However, I dont think the customer care executives are smart enough to solve any problem.

                        Problem: My handset is wrongly shown in your system as Nokia 1100, which is in real Nokia E51.
                        Because of that i face numerous problems in MMS/GPRS/MCommerce settings. I have configured the mobile for GPRS however i am not able to do so for the rest of them. Since, my mobile is showing not java supported I am not able to use Mcommerce. The sms which i send to 543219 send me back application for Nokia 1100 where i can't register my debit card for paying the bill.
                        It has been a harrassing time explaing this to customer care executives, who just know one line " Sir send sms, then only mcommrce will wok" . They dont tell me if it is not working what should be done. How it will work if your system does not recongnize my phone as java supported?

                        Please do something about it. Your customer service is really getting on my nerves .

                        AirTel — Useless service

                        Dear sir,
                        I am Bibhuti Bhusan Dash, Address-At:Jayamangalpur, Po:Biribadi, Dist:Khurda from ORISSA working as a Team Leader in call centre of Reliance communication(Smart GSM Service). My prepaid airtel number is "[protected]". I have taken the connection on 16th March 2007. After that I have recharged Rs [protected]@/- Life Time Validity voucher on 10th April 2007.

                        But the processing fee [protected]@/- is always deducting on recharge of Top Ups bellow Rs200.00 from 4th january 2009 which is beyond the company's rule. Only for this inconvenience i have called to customer care mor than Twenty times. All the CSRs and TL's have informed me it will be resolved soon but they are not giving any commettment date or Time and not refunding the money. Except that, Some of the CSRs have wrongly passed me "You are a Rs [protected]@/- Lifetime customer by which I am completely irritated and finally decided to take the help of Consumer Forum.

                        Finally, I request you update my priceplan of Rs [protected]@/- LTV and refund all the deducted processing fees within 48 working hours.

                        Till now there's no proper response from you people for the bill clarification. What you have done also just forwarding the bill details again which i have received again.Pl check again you have deducted the rental charges for the last bill .Currently I'm having rental free plan only (100% Monthly rental free )so there's no fixed charge/rental etc ( For 17.01.09 to 30.01.09).

                        AirTel — Worst service ever

                        This is Abhishek Joshi. Just now join <>.I guess my time was running bad and i have taken a postpaid connection of Airtel from Airtel executive.

                        I have taken Airtel postpaid connection on 8th of April. Executive told me that it will get activated on tonight. I was waited till 9th evening and given a call to executive. He updated me that south area servers are down except blore servers till 16th 0:00 and your number will get activated on 16th at 0:00 AM.

                        I waited till 16th evening and given a call to executive again he said that "sir, aaj rat ko ho jayenga". I believe him and again waited till 17th evening but my number was not activated. In between these days I have tried to call 121 3 to 4 times from frd's number however after giving "bill info" line got disconnected automatically all the times.
                        Eventually I was able to speak to customer care executive from my frd' number on 17th. She (airtel agent) updated me that there is no information why your number was not activated. She assure me that my number will get activated within 24 hrs where as i was asking to activated within 4 hrs.she has taken all the details including SIM number, mobile number, sales executive name and his number.(you can listen that recording)

                        I again did a followup after 14 hrs and asking for a update however there was no update in the systems. Agent(she) was that you have to wait till 22nd.However previous agent was already committed for 24hrs.

                        I again did followup after 14 hrs i.e on Sunday evening (19th April 2008) and still there was no information was available with him. You know????? it was strange for me !!! i was wondering how are you serving these many of customers. Might be Airtel is thinking that we are not customers!!!

                        I clearly told the agent that if number wouldn't get activated till 10 AM in the morning i am going to return the number to airtel outlets.

                        Today i.e Monday morning 10 AM I have inserted a SIM and start my mobile however My hopes went down...

                        In the evening when I went to Airtel outlet near madhapur there also i got disappointed due to service...

                        Lots of people were gathering near the executive desk for there problem or might be with some other reasons...

                        Was just standing there for 15min where as executive ask me for 2 mins...when i raised my voice then one individual executive came and take me into the cabin ...when i told him the whole story and was asking to take no back and give my deposited money back, he said i cant take this number back as this number is not activated. In between we have spoke to sale executive who sale me the postpaid connection. Funny thing was, " he was again saying the same thing " sir aaj rat ko ho janega"...

                        I have taken your mail ID from Airtel outlets. In between these days i was on vodafone roaming connection and it cost me Rs. 1948.00.

                        If ...

                        1) sales executive would have told me about the server down time till 16th before buying the connection I wouldn't have taken the connection or i would have gone any temporary prepaid connection .

                        2) First customer care executive would have given me the correct information then might be i wouldn't have thought to surrender the connection.

                        3) I wonder how could you don't have any token system in airtel outlets however vodafone has!!!

                        4) When i asked Outlet executive that is there any authoritative person who can look into this problem ... he said you know to go to begam peth office when i asked him for number he said we don't have...

                        5) I got surprised airel outlets doesnt have any provision where the can see whether they can see my details though i have already submitted my docs 12 days back.


                        Request you to please tell me the correct procedure to surrender my number as its not activated.

                        I don't know whether you will take any actions on this or not. I have not written all above things because somebody would loose their jobs however i am writing this because might be some day i would hear that airtel has improved their services and might be i have return back. Just would like to share with you guys that I was cool till now only because my last 4 years exp with airtel blore, pune and nagpur was good. I cant say i am valuable customer however i would say that you lost a customer who was loving the service by heart as well 2 years back he was upset when he didnt get a airtel postpaid connection in blore.

                        This company provides a useless customer care services. When i make a call to the customer care for any complaints they disconnect the call.                         Bharti is totally fraud company. Their service is 3class. I dont know why we Indian are using Internet and iptv from bharti as provider.

                            I had disconnected my connection before 10th May, and the customer care from Airtel confirmed that it will be dis-continued from 10th May. Still they generated a bill till 20th May, which i didn't pay as the amount was disputed. I tried contacting but noone i called/talked to had any context and was dumb. Now they are sending mails about court-case.

                            They also have to return Rs 131, which they agreed to but never did.

                            NO 2 customer care executives ever say the same things...BLind illiterate fools !
                            one other thing i observed with most of the call centers (phone companies, banks, etc etc.). you call them to explain the problem. the call center executive tells us, and promises something. after some time (few hours or days), you call the same call center again to know the status of your query. somebody else picks the call, and he doesn't have any clue what the earlier executive had promised to the customer (many of the times, these executives don't keey the history of their interaction with the customer). and most of the time, different call center executives tell different things.

                            this is really frustrating
                            I am having a pre paid connction of Air Tel. However, after activation for life Time i.e upto 2012 only giving the talk time of Rs 10/ only for Rs. 195/ this is a BIG FRAUD on the part of the company. After one month the service on my MB No. [protected] is suspended all of a sudden. When I contacted several time to CUSTOMER SERVICE No. [protected] and [protected] after pressing the various keys as instructed thereby on the phone the answer is that they are help less to solve the problem. The Air Tel Company is playing a big fraud with the cusomers. If it is unable to provide good service the company should close down the business. I lost about Rs. 400/- within 2 months. The Air Tel company is not giving its telephone Number of its Head Office nor give any E-mail Address for lodging our complaints in writing. It is suggested that instead of complaining in the Forum all the CUSOMER should go in the COSUMER COURT for compensaion.

                            It has already agreed from Airtel about the mistake, but not ready to refund all my money back.
                            Then even after paying the bills everyday more than 20 calls will come from call center to pay bill.

                              Similar issue has been faced by me. This is happening for years with me. I have lodged several complains to Airtel. I can provide all the complain done thru email in writing which is countless.

                              Assume the huge no of Prepaid customer and deduction if Rs.1/- even once in a month. This is and illegal way to make money.

                                Hello Sir,

                                I had applied for MNP from Loop Mobile postpaid to Airtel prepaid and bought the new SIM after submitting all the necessary documents on 6th July 2013. I received a message on dated 12 Jul 2013, ( Namaste, Request Validated by Donor and Porting time[protected]T 22:00:00.000+5:30).
                                On[protected], 22:27:00 my existing Loop Mobile network provider terminated their services, however, even after 12 hours my SIM which was provided by Airtel did not get activated. It is mentioned on the Airtel website that the new simcard gets activated within 2 hours, and I have attached a screenshot.
                                I called up the customer care executives next day morning and all they said was to switch off and switch on the mobile phone, while removing and inserting the simcard again, which I tried it for several times. Here Airtel Network Coverage is very good, so theres is no problem of coverage area. As of now, there is no signal at all, for the new Airtel simcard.

                                When I am trying to contact customer care again, they are saying there is no option for them, and I need to go to the retailer. I did go to the retailer, however, the executive did not know what to do, and after ignoring me for about 5 minutes, even though I was sitting right across her, she contacted the manager. The manager took his time and after 15-20 minutes later, told the executive to send an email to someone. To me, he said that the service will be active in 3-4 hours for sure. (By the way, there was just one executive for taking care of customer issues, who was handling two customers at the same time, and other two counters were for collecting documents and for collecting the bill money respectively, two seats on the executive side not occupied by the executives themselves) But it did not get activated. This just showed that either the manager had no idea of what to do, or he was just trying to ignore the issue and push the problem to someone else, leaving the customer (me), hanging.
                                Later, I called up the Airtel customer care many times later, yet they only told me to either wait for 3-4 hours (every time) (and which I did, unfortunately) or go to retail. Finally I found out about the airtel_presence twitter account and told them the issue. I got a call from them though in like 30 minutes, and the person told me to do the same thing, take out your sim, reboot your phone, the service will be activated in 3-4 hours.
                                Thus, been frustrated, I decided to speak with the manager of the customer care. The executive transferred the call to manager and the manager transferred the called to shop floor manager. I had to tell each one of them the whole story again and again and they were not able to provide solution for my issue. He insisted on me going back to the retail store, that the issue is technical and he cannot handle it there, but been there once, I am pretty sure the manager will just do the same thing again. I asked the shop floor manager for a number, a complaint number if possible, so that the number can be referred to when I complain at the consumer complain forum like this one. However, Airtel does not have that kind of system, and on insisting further, the shop floor manager gave me a fake number, just to pacify me for the time being- [protected]. I know it was fake because I called back and tried to verified but the executive did not know what I was talking about. Now this was the final straw. I was compelled to complain at this forum and all the forums if possible about the way these executives treat their companies customers.

                                Like five minutes back, I found out about the website www.airtel.in/airtelpresence and I have filled the form @ www.airtel.in/airtelpresence.

                                Im using Airtel Kerala GPRS for last 6 months and Airtel is charging Rs.374 per month..On NOvember 23 rd 2008 i recharged for Rs.374 ( so my validity will be upto Dec. 24, 2008)..On 5th December 2008 i got a message from Airtel that my GPRS connection will expire tomorrow because they changed pricing of their service..Now onwards every customer will have pay Rs.674 one month validity..Rs.374 two week validity..what kind cheating is this?? what shud we customers do..if companies following such strategies???

                                Just recently I got transfer from Mumbai to Noida, I have taken mobile connection company Airtel has tie up with My company, Those people when he has provide me connection promised with in three days it will activate.                                 I bought new prepaid simfrom Nehru Place,Airtel Office on 7th Nov,2009.It starts working next day ,but suddenly on 13th Nov,It Stops working. I came to Airtel Office on 16th Nov. ,i think even they don't know about the problem,they are saying televerification was wrong.

                                I had activated airtel mobile net night plan by making a recharge of rs 89. But it didnt get activated. After calling airtel customer care and following their instructions i found that rs 89 were deducted twice from my account( ie rs. 178) worse was that the service got activated but partialy. I was supposed to get 200 mb during day and 4 gb during night time. 200 mb i got but not the 4 gb for night. I have lodged the complaint with the customer care but to no effect.                                 Airtel Prepaid Mobile SIM — Non activation of sim

                                I purchased AIRTEL mobile SIM with No. [protected] from the AIRTEL STALL at Sector 7 KURUKSHETRA on 10.01.2010 after providing ID as my Bank's Identity Card, A certificate from the Bank (My employer) as my adress proof. But my mobile was not activated. After 5 days I enquired from the dealer the reason for non activation, who informed that my ID''s are not acceptable. I enquired why these ID's are not acceptable andwhat type of ID is required, the dealer himself was not aware. Ultimately I offered my Passport as ID proof the dealer said I will have to enquire if Passport is a valid ID or not. After cosulting the higherups he accepted passport as ID on 15.01.2010 but my still my sim has not been activated. It is surprising that Passport is accepted as ID all over the world but is not a valid ID for Airtel emloyees. I suggest that Airtel must employ expert staff for this purpose and not employees who are tarnishing the reputation of the commpany because of having no knowledge. I will request the Airtel people to advise their dealer to refund my money and deliver my IDs at my residence because I have visited his shop seven times and now donot want to talk to that fellow, morover BSNL has already issued SIM on these IDs.

                                I had recharged two prepaid vouchers of Rs 295 & Rs 120 in last 10 days.I got balance of 295 and 106.Since last 10 days,there is a frequent deduction of balance of around Rs300 from my card.I registered a complaint to customer care executive and Seior officials twice.Despite of my not making calls,they are saying that there are calls being made from your number.I had not made any call to the said number and they are not ready to accept their system fault.I want my unused balance.What should I do?

I used airtel as service provider but from last few weeks, airtel is not giving me proper service. i have try many time to contact with airtel customer care executive but every time i contact with them, they did not solve my problem and disconnect my call every time. Now from 2nd march, they have deactivate my account for contact with complain helpline number 198. I also use airtel's MOBILE OFFICE service for internet. but when ever i try to connect internet, it oftenly take time of more then 30 minutes for connect. some time i have to restart computer and some time i have to restart mobile but situation is same. it has become my daily routine. I contact with them by my subordinate for solve this problem. every time they give me time of 6 hours and said that they will arrange call back but still i never receive any call from them. One more problem is that after connect internet, while using internet, it automatically disconnect after 2 or 3 hours.

                                I am sick of the service of Airtel. this is my third complain against airtel from past month. I have every recording of their customer care executive. Please take an action against this Fake Company .

                                on the 7th march 2011 I've requested airtel to port my existing mobile number, they gave me unique port number. i gave that number to bsnl and submitted my application. after 3 days i got message from bsnl that your request was rejected. i contacted bsnl customer care and asked if there is any problem. they told me that airtel rejected my request. i called airtel but i was not answered satisfactorily. after that rushed to nearest customer relation ship center of airtel, which is located at akapuri vadodara, gujarat. representative told me that we have not received your request, so that you have to re apply to bsn. bsnl ppl told me that your request was forwarded. now i don't know who's telling true.

                                your respected office has called me and told about porting facility from vadafone to airtel, acordingly your respected office has sent an executive by name Manjunath to my address after having the detailed discussion, i have been asked to provide the photo copy of my driving license and passport size photo, further your executive asked me to sign the form. after completing the formalities he told separate sim card will be provided to me and same may be sent through in person or through currier. since i have not received sim card from your end as promised and on[protected] i have called your respected office and complained about the same to the customer care executive and later executive transferred the call to his head. pursuant to the discussion in legnth, he asked me to find out and update the person's contact nos. along with the other contact nos where i have received the calls in respect of porting of sim. after discussing with your office(customer care) i have already complained thorugh 121 in respect of this inconvenience and same has been registered as compaliant register No. 36417155. my appression in this regard is i have already been signed the forms and handed over the above documents and photo beleaving that the person came to me is your authorised executive, if your office in goodfaith issued the sim and same has not reached to me and if that issued sim is used/misused by some miscreants, under any such circumstances i will be put to great hardship and loss.

                                Airtel — NOT ALLOWED MNP

                                Respected Sir,
                                As I am regular Airtel usager for past 5 months, I wish to change my network from Airtel to idea due to my personal reason and also our customer care poor service. But there was no response from the Airtel customer service for past 2 months. I have already applied for change of network for 2 times, but never accept my request to Airtel customer care and don’t tell about the reasons. This is very disappointing feedback from Airtel as they are not ready to leave my number from their service after requesting the portability of my number. I have sent the message to 1900 requesting PORT and I got the unique ID -AD511968dt. 08.07.2011. I also contacted idea to transfer my number to their service. After some days idea sent me a message saying that my portability request has been rejected by Airtel. I contacted Airtel, but they are not transparent about their service. I am really disappointed by Airtel and their service. Please someone tell me suggesting what I should do now. I want to leave Airtel.                                 Hi My name is Vijay. Airtel ppl called me and said you've 1 year of land line connection and we're providing a postpaid card for you. Yes they gave me the card in the same day I was submitted my ID proof and address proof in the same day. But the card was not activated even after 5 days I called them and informed it they said they have to verify the proof that I provided. Ok then it was verified in the next day but the card not activated yet even after 1 month. I forgot it. but now they have sent me a bill Ph-no: [protected] bill-no.[protected] dated 21-Jul-2011 for 165Rs for the SIM that is not activated even after lot of request made.

                                I took one sim on July 28, 2013. I was told that it will be activated within 3-4 days. One week passed but nothing happened. I emailed the airtel relationship manager.                                 I ported my aircel sim to airtel. I had generated Unique porting code and got approval. I submitted my documents in Airtel store and got new sim card. They said that it will take 7 days for activation. I waited for more than a week. But still the SIM is not activated. I have inserted the SIM, but i coudnt receive the signal. It is showing emergency call.

                                    On 12 Kul 2013, I recharged my mom's phone [protected], with Rs. 333 twice. But the recharge has not happened till now. One refund i have received. But the other amount is still there debited to my account.

                                      I have been receiving jokes from AT-OIAROT to my Airtel prepaid number([protected]) to which I never subscribed. I contacted Airtel customer care multiple times regarding this issue only to hear that I don't have any Value Added Services currently active on my number. They keep on saying that my number is not on DND and they are putting it on DND each time I called. Please resolve this issue asap.

                                      Bharti Airtel Ltd — Charges against unrequested services

                                      My no. is [protected]. I am using this no. from more than 5 years.
                                      I have a complaint against the charges for GPRS services activated without my consent. (About INR 2392). I can not pay for the services not requested by me.
                                      These services were activated on my no. without my permission/request.
                                      I had tried to get it remitted through customer care but results are not positive. I had cleared your all the customer care executives about the issue and I will not not pay for the services not requested by me
                                      And now my outgoing services has been put on hold.

                                        I have purchased lumia 620 2 months ago. It came with handset bundled offer from Airtel with 3 months of 3g internet with 2GB per month. I was using Tata Docomo, so I tried to port to Airtel in Tirupati but couldn't get a HLR4 sim. The response from Airtel stores in tirupati is awful. So 10 days ago I ported to airtel in hyderabad, n didn't get the bundled offer. I called Airtel for help, but everytime they gave a different reason. I seem to be screwed up by porting to Airtel bcoz they are not giving me bundled offer. Please help me.
