[Resolved]  Airtel — MNP not approved

I am using airtel number [protected]. I have given MNP - Mobile Number Portability request on 15-Apr-2011 but till date the same is not approved.

While contacting to airtel, I received response that my number is under CUG and hence I can not port out.

I by my self choosen to go to CUG and now my self only choosen to go out from CUG and though why refusal?

Is this also described in MNP that CUG numbers can not be ported out untill not converted to indiviual account?

Please help me on subject matter.

In place of giving formal answers, please resolve the query.

Please do the needful at the earliest.

I am working with L&T. And I do have Reliance CUG Plan, which I selected by my self and my company is no where involved in that.

You show me agreement for my plan where in it is indicated that for my number can not be ported out in CUG.

Once common sense is that, if a person can choose to change plan at any time, a person can also choose to go out to other network.

For your information, I have already given request to convert to a individual account vide reference number : 32030417.

I request you to please take up the matter on urgent basis and approve my port-out request.

As on date I have received six calls from Airtel and also in one of the call from Airtel customer care, I got reply that CUG will get automatically cancelled upon request of Porting.

Hope you can understand the situation well.

PLEASE SOLVE... THIS KIND OF ATTITUDE TOWARD CUSTOMER WILL SPOIL AIRTEL IMAGE.

M/s Bharti Airtel has rejected my Port-out request for the second time citing reason as "Contractual Obligation".

This is very very disappointing and I have never experience such a bad experience with any other operator like idea/BSNl etc.

Retaining customer by not approving Port-out request for no reason was never envisaged from such a big company --- Bharti Airtel Ltd!!!

I am fullfilling all the requirents:

1) On 25-Apr-2011, my PLAN IS BEST VALUE PLAN 175 WHICH IS NON CUG.

2) I have applied for port-out on 26-Apr-2011.

3) I have paid all outstanding bills... Presently 100Rs extra is available in my a/c

4) No court case is done for porting of this number.

Though porting request is rejected.

M/s Bharti Airtel is reqested to give me exact reason for port-out rejection.
