I am not able to receive any SMS from one particular number(i.e:[protected]),its an Tamilnadu number.They have no problem in their number,they checked with customer care,I am facing this problem for past 2 weeks.I contacted Bangalore customer care center,but i did not get proper response from them.Because of their irresponse to me i have decided to discontinuing your network.If you can do anything please resolve my problem fast.Else i have to disconnect yours.My ref.case id is[protected].This SMS i got on 31st mar.Please do clear my problem fast.

    I have taken an Airtel broadband connection on my wife’s name (Named Premalatha) and they have supplied me an additional wifi modem (Named Binatone) to install the same for a cost of Rs 1498.99/-. The connection was installed on[protected]. After installation, the executive informed us to call him for any difficulty and he has noted his mobile number on the other side of the invoice. The next day onwards, we were not able to establish connection to Airtel broadband and we informed him over the number provided by him. The executive never looked in to the complaint and we lived with the trouble. He started ignoring our complaints thereafter. In the meantime, my son, contacted Airtel Broad band from our landline number and got some check points to regularize the Airtel broadband connection. This worked good for one day. Later, the connection was getting disconnected every 10 to 15 seconds.
    We contacted the customer Care of Airtel on 18-03-12 and informed the problem to them. A problem was registered and the complaint number was 13116164. An executive visited our house and inspected the broadband. He certified that the modem is defective and would replace the same. The next day, he returned with an old serviced modem as the replacement to this. I called the customer care and told them to replace the modem with a new or service the existing, than supplying me an old serviced modem. Accordingly, the customer executive assured me to settle the issue with genuine solution.

    The problem was not solved and I received a message from Airtel that this will be addressed by 19-03-12. There was no response from Airtel and I called customer care executive of broadband again and informed the situation. He says that the complaint has been closed and no action on this matter will be initiated by Airtel. He also gave me numbers of modem supplier for lodging this complaint. (No [protected] of Mr. Balliappa). Mr. Balliappa asked me to contact the modem supplier, who is MTR Engineering services. Since their bill did not have contact numbers, I called modem supplier once again and told him the problem. He says they cannot do anything and Airtel only has to take action on this. Every time, I write to Airtel, they give a complaint number and they never respond to our request. The modem is still defective and I purchased another modem for this purpose.

    I requested Airtel to take back the modem and refund the cash. Yet no reply is received from them.

      AirTel — Airtel Cheats

      Respected sir,
      I have an airtel mobile number([protected]) and have been deducted 500 rupees without any reason.
      And moreover was given totally wrong information by the airtel costumer care.Someone said that your money has not been deducted and someone said that it has been deducted in a call and the other that it was deducted while using internet.
      This is not the first time airtel doing any such thing.
      I just wanna ask the airtel people that taking small amount of money from citizens makes them rich,are they so in trouble.
      Almost evryone using airtel i know is suffering with this problem.
      I therefore request Bharti Group to look into the matter.

          This is the mail i have send to Airtel on 17th of Feb 2012. After Calling the Customer Service for Lots of time and even till today it is not resolved.

          My mobile number [protected], I have done online rechagre of 444/- as on[protected]. And, it was not sucessful but my balance got dedcuted from my account.
          I haven't received my balance to mobile and Balance got deducted from my account.
          I have placed a complaint on[protected],
          The customer executive is Mohit Kumar and supervisor is Netrapal Singh, they have given me the TAT time i.e., on[protected]. my complaint number is CONRC[protected].
          I haven't recived any call regarding this but i have received a Message that it is resolved.
          With out any initiation how come it can be resolved.
          Again I have called to Customer Service I have spoke to Bhanu he is the Floor super visor. I was asking him about my balance he says that It is resolved successful.

          How come it can be resolved I dont understand. I need the full details on this issue of my online recharge. If not i will contact to counsumer court with all the proof.

          Please, Find the attachment of online recharge not successful along with my bank statement and do the need full.

          And for more details you can inquiry my bank CC if needed and my Bank PRN number is MUPI[protected] for the online recharge made.

            Dear All,

            Airtel is activating unwanted services to my no. [protected]. like "Home care tips". this is 3rd time when they have activated it.
            I never have subscribed to any such service. they keep charging Rs. 1 per day.

            I tried to contact their customer care but they say that I have activated it. which i have not done.
            last time i complained about the same, they reverted some money back.

            But, this has become their practice activating services without any approval.
            by the time you notice your balance deducting, you have already lost a lot of money.

            Above all, they have made contacting costumer care a paid service deducting money. now if i argue with them they revert back the subscription money and deduct Customer care charges. in any case you will be charged.

            plz help how to deal with this. Its totally unethical and bad practice.

              The worst response never ever seen from customer care.. I have called today to customer care regarding deactivation of SMS pack (Rs 36 pack). Two persons attended the call but not given good response.

                Problem un-resolved since JAN-2011

                I had taken an Airtel SIM card for internet usage with monthly rental of 199/- and a one time deposit of 350/-. Just few days after taking the number I had to move to MIRA ROAD from Kandivali and to my surprise, network was NIL "in the house" (while all other networks were working fine). It is only when I come out of building i used to get network. Due to this I could not use INNTERNET at all at home and I lodged a complaint. After almost 7 to 8 months of repeatedly calling customer care I sent an email to NODAL Officer who routed me again to customer care. Customer care called but due to no resolution i was given many false reason like In MIRA Road one of our tower is has issue and we are resolving etc etc EVEN AFTER NOT USING THE SERVICES I KEPT PAYING MONTHLY RENTAL. Then I got frustrated and asked team to close my account and refund my deposit and rental that I had paid. They did not refund and did not close my services and also started asking for payment of rent. Now I am getting threatening calls. Over and above I have been sent an email from one legal agency also.

                I need all my rents I have paid and my security deposit. Please help or advise how to escalate this matter. Due to their disturbing calls, I am not able to concentrate on my work and I am suffering lot of mental trauma.

                Dear Nodal Officer,
                This email had been forwarded to customer care from your office and after a long long wait I got a call. The girl who called me said that - Sir! We have given strongest possible network in your area (Not sure why someone can not come and check what is the issue while I am saying network is NIL here).
                Since I am really frustrated with this connection, I want to close this and get refund of all the months I paid rent and I did not use it for even 1 day.
                Upon asking for refund, she said it is not in our hand and if you have to close connection, you will have to visit nearest vodafone center. I am not being given satisfactory answer about refund.
                Please guide me what should I do? I do not need this trouble and I want my money back.

                I am writing this email after I have faced lot of frustration dealing customer care (Since almost 8 months) and hoping for a resolution here atleast.
                In Jan-2011 I have been approached by Airtel Sales agency that a mobile-office "3G Ready" sim card for internet usage is being given to you at free @199 monthly rental with unlimited usage.
                My problem:
                After I received card there was no proper network (in Kandivali east) and when I called customer care, I was told that - Sir, wait for few days, 3G is about to come and then no network issue at all.
                I shifted to MIRA ROAD and network was NIL in my new flat
                Since then I hve not used this SIM CARD even a single day fully (Please check my usage - it is almost NIL in last 7-8 months)
                I called up numerous times and I did not get a resolution but lot of frustration talking to customer care executive who did not have any knowledge of problem and gave me false answer (Wait till 3G comes, Tech Issue, We are working on it, Someone will call you back etc etc.)
                Now in so many months I did not get any resolution and got few shocking news:
                - This SIM is not 3G ready,
                - Since more than 6 months Airtel could not sort my network issue
                - I AM PAYING 199/- every month without using SIM
                Till not only one Team-leader from CSR team could understand my problem and waived-off my rental but that was for just 1 month.
                As till date I am not able to use the SIM in my Flat in Mira Road (it shows - no network), I request you to kindly give me all the monthly rental I have paid till date as I do not want to keep the SIM anymore and hence please get it deactivated as well.
                I will appreciate all your help.

                  My Customer ID is [protected] - I got SMS messages and messages on my TV mentioning that my account balance is low (Rs 4476) and my subscription will expire on 5th April 2012.

                  I called the customer care to know the amount that i need to recharge for the channels that i had subscribed for - he mentioned that i need to recharge for Rs. 4370. I recharged Rs. 4400.00 online through net banking.

                  I called the customer care to re-validate my account for the next one year. I had to spend nearly 4 hours on phone, calling nearly 6 times, talking to different people, and all of them either could not understand or speak english except for one person.

                  Customer care is so poor and talking to them is too much of harassment, they disconnect if they do not have an answer, after every call i get an SMS stating your channel is deactivated as per your request.

                  My problem is - i called for continuing my service and end up getting it deactivated - just because the on the other side cannot understand clear,, plain and simple ENGLISH.

                  can someone at AIRTEL who understands this message get this issues resolved or refund my money PLEASE...

                    airtel DTH south mega 3 months package was bought on 25.7.2010 in the name of M.Manoharan with customer ID [protected]. After recharge on 26.3.2012 no conection is received. It is ascertained that the same connection has been given to another person ( Mr.Ramesh) using this customer ID. Despite repeated enquiry from 26.3.12, verbally they are replying, but no tangeable services was provided. I regret to choose this wrong ver poor services of airtel. Now we want to surrender this connection, and the deposit amount of Rs.1750/-along with recharge amount of Rs.330/-

                      AirTel — about wrong charges

                      i am distributor of bharti airtel limited. i have fos no [protected] when i call a2a the charge taken fromdedicate account 1 but there is 1 no [protected] when i call on this no the charged taken from dedicate account 5. by this way about 150 rs was wrongly charged from dedicate account 5. any of airtel executive can not solve problem. every time i call [protected] airtel business support center they reply me differently and reply me that plz hold and after 30 minutes they disconnect my call. and tell me who is sushil sharma? i called him on 25-9 at 6.52minute evening and he tell me that when u r dedicate account 5 is 0 every calls charge will taken from dedicate account 1 but problem not solved today.

                      These mobile companies, of which Airtel is the leading one, have introduced a scam where by they deduct Rs. 25 or 30 for services, for which we have not subscribed.

                      Imagine, Airtel deducting wrongly Rs. 25 from 1 lakh customers. They earn Rs. 25 lacks due to this. This is a huge sum. And they do this month by month

                      Some action needs to be taken against this.

                      I thing, there is strong need for immediate number portability. Then we can teach these companies a lesson.

I had paid 6011 Rs and my bill was 5336 Rs (I paid because i want to change the bill plan )so my balance is 675 Rs after that I had changed the bill plan (Corporate) in same number .but there are two different acount number ...                       Dear Sir,
                      I am using Airtel connection form approximately 1 year. I was having an online account by which i use to make payment but one day suddenly Airtel blocked my online account from which i use to make payment. I contacted there customer service representative but thsy were not able to resolve my conplaint.

                      Because of blocking of account i was not able to make payment. One day Airtel contacted my about the o/s bill & i told them the problem then they advised me to open one more account. I opened it & paid the previous outstanding but i also told them i am not going to make the Late fees payment because Airtel has locked my online account on its own without informing me.

                      Now on 16.02.2010 Airtel has debarded my services without informing me. I am on business tour & i am not having the connectivity. I contacted Airtel customer service they told me my services are debarder & within an hour my services will be activated. but it had been more than 12 hours my services is till yet not activate.

                      This is really not acceptable that everytime airtel is doing everything on its own without informing the customer. They are treating customer as a servant or worker of there company, i.e. they think without informing customer they can do anything in customer account.

                      please help it Very Urgent.
                      1.That I am user of mobile no.[protected] of Airtel mobile services and I also subscribed for Airtel blackberry services .
                      2.That I visited U.S.A from 23rd September 2009 to 3rd October 2009 and before leaving India I requested the Airtel through their email address i.e."[protected]@airtel.in" on 21st September 2009 at 1.13pm to suspend the blackberry services for my phone no.[protected] for next 13 days from[protected] to[protected] because I have to travel abroad(as per their procedure).
                      3.That the Airtel responded to my email on the same day i.e[protected] at 13.23 pm with an automated response email and promised to respond in next 24hrs.(which they never did).On[protected] I confirmed with customer care agent(on 7070 Blackberry customer care no.)that Airtel has received my email and they have suspended my blackberry services on my request.
                      4.That the Airtel send an email on[protected] confirming that my account was currently suspended,in continuation to their earlier mail i.e on[protected] and sender also regretted for the delay in responding.
                      Since the Blackberry services remain suspended for the said period I did not use Blackberry services while roaming in U.S.A.
                      5.That I received a bill no.[protected] dated[protected] for the period[protected] to[protected] .In this bill Airtel charged me Rs.2909.00 for the Blackberry services(for period[protected] to[protected] while roaming.As I mentioned in my mail my blackberry services were remain suspended for the said period which was confirmed by Airtel too.
                      6.That I made several requests to Airtel for wavier of those charges but they deducted those charges from my security amount(Rs.6000/-).I also lodged my protest to Appl. authority but with no positive reply.
                      7.That I discontinued using Airtel services in protest.
                      The Airtel company is chittar, I subscribe for mobile TV for seven days, but he charged for 14 days.
                      I received a message from Air-tel customer support 5432181 on 25/03/10 at 8.18pm that a sum of Rs 30/- have been deducted and charged from my prepaid balance on account of " Mitti ke Rang " and I am fail to understand without my any request, how can they do
                      so, even after calling to customer care no body was able to listen and sort out the problem.This problem is still pending , today i.e. on 06/04/2010 at 5.32 pm again I received a message from 54321 that a
                      sum of Rs 15/- have been charged from your account on account of "renewal for life-pack subscription" where as no such type of request has been forwarded by me to Air-tel. This type of cheating I faced earlier also, but not cared deeply. Now within s short span period of only 10 days, Air-tel has deducted and charged Rs 45/- from my prepaid balance amount, without any request and means
                      Kindly refer my bills of March & April month(bill[protected] dated for the period 5-3-2010 to 4-4-2010 & 5-4-2010to[protected] Please note there are following discrepancy : 1) In the adjustment Tax amount collected by you wrongly on your charges not taken into account. 2)My account is debited with Rs. 585.91 & not 585 as stated by you. & Rs725 on[protected] &[protected]. 3) Strangely you continue to debit me Rs 30/= as UTV radio cinema calls ,even after your repeated assurance that it would not repeat. 4) Also refer my previous month bill of February2010 Amount paid is Rs 716/=Plus adjustments as shown by you.which comes to Rs 890.27 where as previous balance outstanding as shown in your bill is Rs 791/=there by an exess amount of Rs 99/= collected by you .

In this connection I have to state that I have given ECS request on 5th December 2009. & I had paid by cheques as you could not activate ECS within 15 days of receipt of my request by you. December 2009 January 2010 February 2010 Bills are paid by me on you specific request with the clear assurance that no late fee is charged as it was a fault on your side. Hence all late fee so charged in each bill after December to be refunded. Further An amount of Rs 30 /= is charged as UTA charges is unauthorized which is to be refunded . One such adjustment you have done in March for February month bill . Please refer cheque amount ofRs 716/= debited on 8th April & Rs. 585.91/= debited on 29th April 2010 Rs 725/= on 25th May 2010 under ECS .. You have to re calculate amount payable & paid by me for 3 bills February 2010 March 2010 & April 2010 . All the exess collections / wrong / unauthorized collections are to be carefully adjusted at least this time in May month bill which is to be debited in June 2010 to my a/c Under ECS. Please note to refund service tax & education cess collected on all wrongful entries . Please ensure the unauthorized debit of Rs 30/= you have been doing every month ever since December 2009. in stopped forth with .
                      AIrtel landline complaint Dated 29th May 2010::::-: Refer my above complaint regarding discrepancy in my 3 monthly bills- February, March & April 2010 :;---FEBRUARY month bill collected Rs 716 was collected where as actually an amount of Rs617 /=(Rs 791less Adjustments174.27, ) March month bill Service tax excess collected Rs 3.09 not taken in adjustment & only Rs 105 taken. . Further My account is debited with Rs 585.91 on 29th April 2010 through ECS. where as strangely it has been taken as Rs 585 only in the bill.thereby you have created Rs 4 is till pending payable by me .April month bill you have again shown a unauthorized entry of Rs 30/= as UTV Radio Cinema call and again service tax on that amount.
                      Hope you will take into account this & pass the adjustment entries in the may month bill with out fail..

                      I confirm I have contacted this day your call center customer care officer, And tried to explain in detail the discrepancy in bills February March April 2010 bills But to my surprised i could not make him understand the deficiency. I should get the total credit of Rs 136/= This has to be adjusted from May month bill and also Unauthorized entry o[censored]TV charges Rs 30 plus tax on that to be adjusted if it is charged. .
                      I honestly hope you will personally verify and guide the concern in the matter. Kindly ensure that unauthorized entry which has been shown every month since December 2009 & adjusted when pointed out . Service tax portion though shown in the adjustment not taken into account .Furthermy account is debitted under ECS RS585.91 on 29th April 2010 but accounted only 585/= ( strangly 0.91 not even accounted for even in next bill )
                      Airtel Complaint Dated 29th May 2010: This complaint is acknowledged by Mr Rakesh Kumar . But till date it is left unattended. there is an unauthorized charges of Rs 30/=on 14th of every month at4:51AM every month plus Service tax & education cess on the said amount. I have verified 5 months bills( 5th Dec 2009to4th Jan 2010, 5th Jan 2010 to4th Feb 2010, 5th Feb 2010 to 4th March 2010 5th march 2010, to 4Apr 2010 & 5th April 2010 to 4th May 2010 ) 5th May2010 to 4th Jun 2010 not available on NET. You have collected Rs 150 Plus Service Tax& education cess on this which is unauthorized. I had submitted ECS request letter with all required enclosures( duly authenticated by my Banker. 0 on 5th December 2009. Hence Late fee charged in Feb, March 2010 is also unauthorized, You have given effect as adjustments Rs 270 ( 165+105) Extra tax collected though shown as adjustments not given effect . Pl also refer my bill[protected] dated6th Apr 2010. You have collected Rs 585.91 where as accounted for only 585.Which is surprising . Pl verify & account for this amount . Hope you will do all adjustments & debit my account with correct net amount under ECS.

Is [protected]. on 9th of July I have recharged Internet tarrif of Rs450 and it is saying that ur phone settings doesn't support but and they have cut the amount of Rs 200 when I was using my Internet service under wifi conectivity so now sir u tell me when I try to call on Airtel helpine it comes bussy and in case anyone picks phone they use to put my call on hold and charge 50 paise which should not be taken bcz when I'm facing problem then only I will call to customer care so there should not be any charge for that and tell me how to solve the problem as soon as u can other wise I have to leave Airtel connection it's upto u solve my problem or TATA to Airtel services???                       I am baljinder kaur . i have Purchased two CUG No's ([protected] and [protected]) three months before. As i was working With IBM so they were corporate numbers nd i was Promised to get unlimited free callls benefit between these two numbers..but as per first two month's bills we were being charged as per normal call charges..we called up to the customer care many times but they only told us that they have not updated the parent ID of these two Number's so that is the reason for not getting the Benefit . they simply provided us the waiver of rs 400 in the very First month's bill nd promised same will not happen again..but same charges were there in next month's bill. so we simply denied to use the services anymore and requested to churn the number.but four months have been passed away and we are still receiving the bills on our billing adress, though sim is not working and we haven't used that number since two months.so please look into the matter as we dont want another single bill to be deliverd. sim is rejected,we are unable to contact customer care. nd as EBILL service was activated , we do not have the password so unable to open the attachment. nd customer care people are saying to reset the password on our own. we simply want that no bill shud be deliverd at our adress..

                      i sent a message of over N100,000 wrongly charged bill to airtel and up till today no reply but i had to pay so that my business will not be disrupted

                      Thanks for your reply and at least you admitted that problem is at your end and your billing team has to upgrade their software which they call it world clas billing software. Today I talked with your customer care executive Mr. Saizan and he gave me complaint number 17945532 saying my problem will be resolved asap as the night top up which i have taken use to get deactivated regularly and automatically in my plan seems some ghost in your billing software which do such kinda tricks. I hope my problem will be resolved asap.

                      I have a post paid mob No [protected] as also an add on No [protected]. Since I was going out of country, I requested vide requests Nos 50931742 dated 06 Jun (14.59 hrs ), 50983375 dated 09 Jun (11.56 hrs ) and 51161321 dated 18 Jun ( 17.30 hrs )To place BOTH these Nos in safe custody from 20 Jun to 10 Oct. The same was again confirmed to me at Delhi by tele No 5222 on 19 Jun at 1305 hrs. BOTH these Nos remained unused during the said period as could be verified from your records.
                      However, I find that while Rs 50 has been levied as safe custody charges for [protected], a sum of of Rs 125 has been levied on [protected] which not in order. In this regard, I wish to reiterate that the request was made for BOTH the Nos and the same could be verified from the recoded message.
                      You are requested to revert the excess charges levied and reconcile the same in the next billing cycle.

                        I got a msg on my mobile at about 10am on 2nd april that if I recharge my mobile with rs 150/- I will get full talktime therefore trusting on u'r msg i recharged my mobile no([protected])which is a no of kolkota today at 12 pm with easy recharge from dhabbad(lharkhand) of rs 150/-.but I got ony 0.15 paise as my talktime.kindly look into this matter and oblige.and please look that i get my rs 150/- as my talktime at the earliest.
                        I had done a recharge via www.freecharge .co.in. And by mistake added different number. Can somebody please help me and reprocess this recharge ..

                        Freecharge People are saying that this airtel will do and airtel guuys saying it will be via freecharge .

                          But contrary I am getting billed from last 2 months for new forced plan of Rs499.

                          I made several service requests with current request no.13376268, but no relief or correction made to my bill(s) and plan.

                          I repeat to tell have not made any request for change or up-gradation in my current plan of Rs449.

                          Therefore, I am not liable to pay any extra cost or incovinence caused by you to me.

                          I request to disconnect the connection if company have no solution or intention to correct my bill(s) and plan.

                            Sir,
                            I beg to state that I am a customer of airtel with mobile no [protected] and being sufferd from faulty balance deduction most of the time I call. For instance I called for 10 min 40 sec and have been charged 6 rupees @50 paise/min scheme. Every time complaint them they ask to take their call detail plan which charges rs. 58 for a period of 90 days. So I thought it will be more costlier than to faulty deduction.
                            So i plea to you for justice.

                            My No. is [protected]. I have not activated any internet service on my mobile even my mobile is not compatible for internet service. But then also my Rs. 95 has been deducted from my balance.

                            Now i request you to please help so that i can return my money back.
                            Some of the services has been activated on my mobile number([protected]) and `1 for each service has been deducted every day from my balance account.
                            I was unknown about this whole process until on 14th Jan 2011 when I received a message saying ` 2 has been deducted from my balance for some service. When I called Customer care and asked about this they say it has been activated after my confirmation but this is not the case, I asked them to de activate all services and they confirmed that all services has been deactivated. I asked them to give me any proof that it has been activated by me but they don’t have any proof. I dropped that issue but today I checked again if any balance has been deducted from my account and found that from 15th Jan 2011 `1 has been deducted every day. So I called Customer Care again and now they are saying that some other service is active on my number since March 2010, when I asked how this is possible, I got the same answer that it has been activated by me only…. So now if I calculate from March 2010,
                            10 months
                            ` 30 per Service per month
                            N number of services
                            In total N*30*10 = 300N
                            Means ` 300 per service…

                            This much money has been deducted from my balance which is too much that too without my knowledge. Is this the service which is provided by this MNC and they claim to be the best service provider.

                              We have been using the Airtel Broadband services (# [protected]) since 2009. The internet speed was good initially.. but its been really pathetic in past few months. To add to the worst, the broadband connection went down in Sec-62 noida on Thursday, 22 March 2012. Following is the list of events that occured since then:
                              - Filed a complaint on friday, 23 March 2012 in the afternoon. Response: We were promised that the connection will be up and running by 1600 hrs on Friday itself. In the evening, it was still not working. We called up ard 6 in the evening and were told that it'll be resolved on saturday.
                              - On Saturday, 24 March 2012, the problem still persisted. On calling the customer support, we were told that there is some technical fault in that area, and it'll be resolved by Monday, ard 11 am.
                              - On Monday, I received a msg that the ticket that was raised wrt our complaint was successfully resolved. WHEREAS.. it wasnt. We called up in the afternoon, and were told that problem has been resolved in sec-62 so there must be some problem with our individual connection and their engineer will pay us a visit in the evening. In the evening, the engineer called us and said that the problem still persists in our area, so there is no need for a visit and shall be fixed by tuesday 11 am.
                              - On tuesday, still there was no progress. We called again, and were told it'll be fixed by 2 pm. No progress till 5 in the evening, so we called again. and were told that the engineer will call us and visit us ASAP. No engineer call. No Visit. Broadband still not working. Finally we called up again and spoke with some senior person Mr Bharat and told him that if you have to give false promises and provide no services, then please disconnect out connection. He REQUESTED to be given one last chance and ASSURED that we give them another day and it'll be resolved DEFINITELY.
                              - On Wednesday, Still no progress. Again False promises for engineer visit, STILL NO RESPONSE. Finally ard 7-8 pm, I requested for the disconnection of our services. Received a call from their team regarding disconnection and we were AGAIN given false assurances that it'll be resolved by 2pm in the afternoon on Thursday.
                              - On Thursday, we again received a call from their retention team. I asked them to tell me the EXACT STATUS of the problem rather than lies and by when will the problem be resolved. The guy after keeping the line on hold for a while said it'lll take MAXIMUM 7 days. Even after 7 days of persistence of problem, they needed another 7 days.. that was insane. On being harsh, i was told that there will be a ENGINEER VISIT DEFINITELY in the evening.

                              Its ALREADY SUNDAY.. and STILL NO PROGRESS.. I dont know if they are working towards the resolution of the problem or the service disconnection. I DONT HAVE THE SLIGHTEST CLUE. There have been ATLEAST 30 conversation over the phone. The call duration ranging till 40 mins also.

                              They have been causing us enough Inconvenience and mental harassment. I really dont know what to do for making the connection up and running. TIRED of making long phone calls at Customer Support, Requesting, Fighting, Waiting and wasting MY OWN precious time in all this.

                              Sorry for SUCH a LONG Complaint Detail. But this is JUST a small part of the whole mess.

                              Please Do the needful. They are taking this issue way too lightly.

                              Airtel — Complaint wrt Airtel BB disconnection

                              Dear Sir / Ma'am,

                              My name is Sachin Soman, and I am very dissatisfied Airtel broadband customer. I had dsubmitted a request to cancel my airtel broadband in the month of Dec 2009. Till now it is not disconnected.

                              The following are few of the ref numbers that have been given to me by airtel customer care staff who are good for nothing; 29221432, 29747824, 13071906. Airtel had promised me that i do not owe anything to them and all the irrelevant charges will be made nill and void.

                              I has raised the initial request for cancellation in the month of Dec 2009. In Jan 2010, i get a call from a lady from Airtel's retention team. I told this lady very categorically that I do not intend to pursue this connection. She also confirmed back that the needful be done. However to my surprise i got the montlhy bill for Dec and Jan in the month of feb 2010.I again called airtel and then Ms.Sneha told me not to pay anything and the charges will be reversed. Then i again get a bill for the month of Feb 2010. I again call and speak to a diff person whi confirmed that i do not have to pay even a single Re to airtel and all will be done on priority.But nothing happend.


                              One of the floor supervisors Ms.Sneha was the biggest culprit of all. I spoke to her on multiple occassions and she promised that everything will be taken care of and the airtel personnel will come to my resd and collect the phone instrument and the modem. I even visited the Airtel ofc in Sec-14 gurgaon, and the staff over there told me that airtel will collect the phone and modem. in 3 business days. This happened on 27th Mar 2010.

                              even today i spoke to Mr. Nishant, floor sup, and he confirm that all the thimgs have been noted and the billing dept will close this case. He did not have the slightest idea how the billing dept works.

                              All this meanwhile i have got more than 20 collection calls demanding for payment. The most emabarrasing situation was today when this lady called from this number;[protected]. She was very rude and said she needs a No Obligation sertificate from Airtel.

                              All the collection calls have caused huge mental stress and I demand compensation for all this mess. I am looking at a compensation of Rs. 10 lacs.

                              Please help me to resolbe this case oncefo n all.

                              I am from chennai. The same experience here with me. Even the service engineer never come on scheduled time. he used to call me only when I am supposed to be in office. Which makes sense they are not ready to resolve the issue. Even I escalated to the proper group of airtel..seems they are also by name shake escalation group..no serious action taken.

                              MY CONNECTION WAS DISCONNECTED ON 2 APR 2012 BECAUSE THE DISCONNECTION REQUEST PLACED ON 28 MARCH GOT PROCESSED. WTH. YOUR REPRESENTATIVES SAY THAT THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO RECORD OF THE REQUEST BEING TAKEN BK. HAD I BEEN DAY DREAMING OR THE ENGINEER VISITED US FOR THE SAKE OF HAVING A WALK IN THE PARK??

                              ON 2 APR I PLACED A RECONNECTION REQUEST IN THE EVENING AND WAS TOLD THAT IT WILL BE PROCESSED ASAP. ON 3RD APRIL I CALLED UP TO CHECK THE STATUS (THANK GOD I DID).. AND YOUR EXECUTIVE STATED THAT THERE WAS NO REQUEST PLACED LAST EVENING. PATHETIC!!! BT DEFINITELTLY NOT SHOCKING COZ WE HAVE BEEN USED TO IT IN PAST FEW WEEKS.

                              ON 3RD THE REQUEST WAS TAKEN AND THE CONNECTION WAS AGAIN STARTED ON 4 APR.

                              AGAIN.. MY FONE GOT DISCONNECTED ON 8/9 APR 2012. AS THE PROCESS OF 28 MARCH WAS AGAIN PROCESSED... DONT YOU THINK NOW THIS IS FRUSTRATING ENUF.. INSTEAD OF ACCEPTING YOUR FAULT. YOUR EXECUTIVES HAVE BEEN ASKING ME TO PLACE A NEW RECONNECTION REQUEST EACH TIME I CALLED THEM. THIS IS RIDICULOUS.. WHY SHOULD I PLACE A REQUEST IF I HAVE ALREADY TAKEN BACK THE DISCONNECTION REQUEST!!!

                              AGAIN I PLACED A REQUEST ON 12 APRIL.., PISSED!! AND TODAY ON 17 APR WHEN I CALLED YOUR CUSTOMER CARE, I CAME TO KNOW THAT THE REQUEST WAS CLOSED AS THEY TRIED TO CONTACT ME THRICE ON 13 APRIL AND I DINT TAKE THEIR CALLS. AINCE I WAS BUSY WITH SOME MEETING, I DID NOT ATTEND THE CALLS, AS I THOUGHT THESE WERE JUST OTHER CALLS FROM XYZ CUSTOMER CARES FOR DISTRIBUTING CREDIT CARDS!! BULL CRAP AGAIN AS THE DND SERVICE IS ALREADY ACTIVATED ON MY PHONE AND I AM STILL RECEIVING T HESE CALLS ON MY AIRTEL MOBILE NUMBER..

                              WHATEVER, THE REQUEST WAS CLOSED, AND I DID NOT RECEIVE ANY NOTIFICATION. THE TYPICAL AIRTEL ATITUDE.

                              AND TODAY I AM AGAIN BEING ASKED TO PLACE A NEW REQUEST WHICH WILL TAKE ANOTHER 7 DAYS TO GET PROCESSED.. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON IN YOUR DEPARTMENTS!! IF THEY ARE NOT SYNCHRONIZED, THAT IS NOT MY GOD FORSAKEN PROBLEM!!

                              IF YOUR CUST CARE EXECUTIVES ARE NOT LOGGING THE CLIENT REQUESTS, THAT IS NOT MY PROBLEM EITHER... NOW!! HERE I AM.. AFTR ALMOST 25 DAYS... STILL WITHOUT THE AIRTEL BROADBAND CONNECTION WORKING!!

                              I HAVE CONTACTED THE CUST CARE, THE NODAL OFFICE, THE APPELATE OFFICE!! MADE ATLEAST 100+ CALLS.. I AM BURNING MY MOBILE PHONE BILLS LIKE HELL!!

                              AND STILL I AM ASKED TO BE PATIENT. DONT YOU THINK THIS IS A CALLOUS BEHAVIOUR!! Y DONT YOU TAKE ANY ACTION AGAINST THE OFFICIALS INVOLVED IN ALL OF THIS CRAP.

                              WHEN WILL MY CONNECTION BE UP!! AND MIND IT.. I WONT PLACE ANY MORE RECONNECTION REQUESTS AS IT IS NOT FAULT THAT IN THE FIRST PLACE THE DISCONNECTION REQUEST CANCELLED ON 31 MARCH MUST NOT HAVE BEEN PROCESSED!! ENOUGH OF COOPERATION FROM MY END!!

                              PLEASE RESPOND ASAP!!

                              AIRTEL HAS ALREADY CAUSED MY ENOUGH INCONVENIENCE AND MENTAL HARRASSMENT!! IF YOU ARE WILLING ENOUGH TO PROVIDE ME WITH YOUR SERVICES, PLEASE DO SO ASAP.. ELSE, OTHERWISE, PLEASE INFORM ME.. SO THAT I START LOOKING FOR OTHER SERVICE PROVIDERS!!

                              BULL CRAP SERVICE!! IRRESPONSIBLE BEHAVIOUR!! PATHETIC CUSTOMER CARE RESOLUTIONS AND PROMISES!!
                              any lawyer willing to take up this case!! these service providers have been way too careless.. i see many othr such complaints on various other forums. I think its time that we take a stand against these money minting machines who treat the customers with least interest!!

                                  I recharged my No with 200/- for talk time but after recharge when i called up at one place and i came to know that my all amount has been deducted. then again i called up at call centre then agent told me that this recharge is for GPRS activation and for talk time it is of Rs 201/- and before recharging my account i have already called to call centre and agent told me that we have only Rs 50, 101,200 & 441 for talk time & dealer told us you will get the talk time in Rs 200 recharge. and after this wrong deduction i called to call centre then another agent told me that we have Rs 201 top up in which you will get the talk time.

                                  Now pl tell me every person is giving different information and i don't know who is giving me correct information.

                                  My 200Rs got lost due to this wrong information which is giving by your agent & dealer.

                                  My airtel number is [protected].

                                  airtel is automatically subscribing sevices on its own and deducting money from prepaid account. Yesterday when I noticed that money is getting deducted I immediately stopped all the value added services. Today again they activated astrology alerts on my number and dedcted 30 rs. This is total fraud. Please refund all my money that you deducted in last 4 months.

                                  I recharged my number i.e [protected] (Airtel) with Rs. 10 Internet pack on 15th april 2013. This pack gives usage of 100 MB . On that day my number was having main balance of Rs.50 . When i was using the internet facility with my same number, the balance of Rs. 50 deducted from my account and at that time about 6 MB were left out of that 100MB. Due to this, I compliant to the airtel consumer care and they told that the same amount will be refunded on 17th april 2013. But no amount has been refunded by them till now. I have tried for so many times to the customer care number but there is no response. I have also tried on their no.[protected] for which normal call charges apply, but no response is there. Due to these calls i have also expensed the amount and my time.
                                  Now I want Rs. 50 to be refunded and the compensation for expenses and my time which i have lost due to this issue.
                                  Hoping for favorable and immediate response.

                                  It is intimated that Rs 65 has been wrongly deducted for my mobile no [protected]. Please revert the same amount in my account.

                                    Dear Sir/Madam,

                                    I am cheated by Airtel.

                                    I am very surprised that My airtel Number [protected] which I was using from year 2006 has been suddenly deactivated & allocate to another person without any information.

                                    How this can happen whereas I was using this number continuously. I also have recharged this number on Nov. 24, 2010. I was receiving continue calls & SMS on this number, then how it could be permanently deactivate & give to another person without any information. Airtel has deactivated my service on Dec. 29, 2010 & allocate this number to an new person on Jan. 19, 2011, Just in 20 days. I was out of town this duration, When I came back, I found that my all calls & SMS are going to a new person. I immidiatelty complait about it to Airtel, but I did not get any satisfactory reply.

                                    I have specified this number in my various bank accounts & alerts. All the information is going to the new unknown person.

                                    I have logged my complaints with Airtel lot of time, but their officer are anly giving one answer that "the number has been permanently disconnected due to non receipt of the documents.We regret the infeasibility to reactivate the number as the same has been allotted to some other customer." Whereas I am continue replying that I have not received any information to submit any document.

                                    I am very much scared about my all personal details are going to a unknown person & there can be any misuse with my personal details.

                                    This is really very seviure issue, which Airtel officers are simply ignoring. There may be some criminal offence with me as my all information is going to a new unknown person. If there will be anything wrong with me Airtel will completely be responsible for it.

                                    I hereby like you to look into the matter & do te needful.

                                    I (K Ravi Varma) already complained to you 6 months back to Aircel Mobile network, regarding disturbance messages daily, after 2 months back rectify the complaint, but recently again started disturbance messages.

                                    (Aircel Special Offer: Get FREE 70 local/STD minutes and 30P local calling for 60 days on recharge of RC32. Offer only for U and valid today only.T&C apply.) these message came to daily my mobile. So kindly action Aircel network.

                                    {Previews Complaint: I (K Ravi Varma) purchased Aircel sim card No.[protected]prepaid) dated on 22/12/2010 at Bhimavaram, W.G. Dist. Andhra Pradesh state. I face signaling problem in Aircel network, after 4 months i change Aircel to BSNL through mobile number portability. But daily received 1 message (Recharge with Rs30 & get FULL TT + calls to local A2A at 15P/min& local M2M at 30P/min for 180 days. Benefit within 24 hrs of recharge.) this message daily came my mobile number. i so many times compliant to Aircel cusmor care centre and BSNL customer centre, but not short out this problem. i disturbed this message daily. So kindly action` Aircel network}

                                      Would like to bring into your notice that Airtel debit money from accounts of customer with out any reason. I have purchased the number and got Rs 30 as balance. After sometime , when i checke the account , Rs 20 was debitted from my account. Again i recharged my number with Rs 50 . Again Rs 40 was debitted from my account. Airtel people told me that I have downloaded a game called Nazara.... However, firstly , i never downloaded any game .. secondly ... there is no game called nazara in android market.
                                      The representatives at airtel in Andheri customer care took this thing very casually and instead of assisting me.. they simply ignored.... I was told to contact 999 from the landline number, they were also help less in understanding the issue.

                                      This is nto the first time with Airtel. I have used Airtel sims in Chandigarh , Bangalore and now in Mumbai .. everytime the same issue ... sometime .. they say ,,, u have downloaded game .. else, they activate the caller tune,.

                                      Airtel got the worst service.. They are such a big brand and just cry for 5-10 - 15 rs.. everytime they deduct money.

                                      airtel has been cheating everyone and no body is complaining, is there any way to file a complaint through court? if so i will complaint against airtel and if you got any same problems let me know - [protected]
