Hi,
I had applied for a new connection for mobile number ([protected]) on 5th September 2013 at Vile Parle branch address (Shop No. 19/20, Shamkamal CHS, Agarwal Market, Opp. Denanath Mangheshkar Hall, Vile Parle East Mum - 400057). The Sales Receipt number is 4072, CRO is Yash; SIM number is[protected]; Plan is Win 599
I was told by the representatives, notably Ms. Komal (Mobile number [protected]) that my phone will get activated in 2 days after verification. Since that day I have received multiple verification calls, however there has been no update on when my phone will be activated. Ms. Komal has shamelessly given multiple assurances to me on my mobile activation. I was forced to visit the store personally, 4 times and each time there has been a new date given to me. After taking my phone calls for 1-2 days, and realizing that her lie has been caught many times, Ms. Komal has stopped picking up phone calls. So, now there is no avenue for me to even complain or know the status. Your toll free number/customer care number sucks and I am sure you know why.
Its important to note that Ms. Komal and her fellow representatives at this particular Airtel Center have caused direct financial loss to me and I need to know how am I going to be compensated. I had already circulated this number to all my contacts a week back and now I am getting emails that my number is not activated yet. This has caused tremendous embarrassment to me and my company.
I want to know when my number is going to be activated so that I can take this number and port it to Vodafone instead whose service I find much better over years of personal experience. Even more importantly now, I want to know what action Airtel proposes to take against Ms. Komal and her fellow associates who have told blatant lies to me many times.
If it takes 12 days for you to even think o[censored]pdating a new customer as to when his number will be activated, I am sure you know where your business is heading. Wake up!
